Bight fast moving light disappeared in the west

At approximately 1740 hrs. I witnessed a bright light heading North to South. At first, I thought it was a plane, but I then notices there weren’t any green or red flashes and no noise. The object also would blink in and out. The object then appeared to slow down and make an immediate westerly turn and speed up. Then the object would slow down to almost a crawl then would seem to jump to new location. It did this about three times while also making quick side to side movements. Then the object kept moving west and blinked out and was gone.

Hazy oval shape then a light in the center then faded to a small circle and disappeared.

At approximately 11:55 p.m. tonight, June 22nd, 2015, recited (sic. Sighted?) an object approaching from the south heading north near our house and at first it appeared to look like a cloud it was sort of oval shape and then a light appeared in the center of it as it continued moving north and then it began to fade back to a smaller round ball shape and eventually just moved backwards away from us and disappeared.

The Sentinel 2A satellite was launched on a Vega rocket from the Guiana Space Center, last night at 9:52 PM EDT (Jun 23
01:52 UTC).

SeeSat-L received several reports of sightings near 23:49 EDT (3:49 UTC), of what appears to have been exhaust from the final burn of the Vega rocket's AVUM liquid fueled upper stage. That burn lowered the perigee to ensure that the object decays from orbit within a reasonable time, in order to curb the growth of space debris.

Linked parabolic shapes with blinking light

On Tuesday August 31 from approximately 9pm eastern time to 9:15pm my wife and I observed from our front porch in central-upstate New York (approximately 42N, 76W) a flying object EXACTLY identical in appearance to the one in the second sketch on your web site (the sketch that's accessible by clicking on the "Click here for a more detailed graphic" link off of today's FLASH report on your home page).

It was a perfectly clear, entirely cloudless and starry night, more than one hour past sunset and just a quarter-hour after moonrise. I first noticed the object relatively low and distant in the sky as I looked to the west-southwest. It appeared well above the treeline as a white, somewhat fuzzy, oval-shaped splotch in the sky, about the size of an aspirin at arm's length. After staring at it for a full minute, it also seemed to be moving extremely slowly toward me. As a lifelong stargazer and skywatcher, it caught my attention due to its relatively large size, its relative brightness in the night sky, and the fact that, for me, if didn't fit any category of previously observed aerial phenomena.

I yelled to my wife and grabbed two optics -- an 8x20 monocular and 16x50 binoculars. By this time we were certain that the object was slowly moving toward us. As I viewed it for at least 15 minutes through the 16x binoculars, it never changed its shape from the one shown in the sketch I previously referenced -- its appearance was that of two large, equal-sized parabolic shapes that were back to back but slightly separated and linked through their middles by a somewhat cigar-shaped element that was slightly pointier at the left (south-facing) end. These shapes appeared to be gaseous, almost cloudlike in nature, but they were sufficiently defined and unchanging.

As I looked through the 16x binoculars, I also saw an occasionally-blinking white light at the left tip of the cigar-shaped central element. It blinked at an irregular rate, and my wife could not see this aspect of it through the 8x monocular. At one point midway through our roughly 15-minute observation period, I also saw (through the binoculars) a yellow-red dot that moved quickly toward the south; it originated from the same tip where the white light was periodically blinking. I could only track the low-intensity yellow-red light briefly through the binoculars' field of view before it vanished; I could not see this light with my naked eye.

The dual-parabolic-shaped object's line of travel took it directly over my house at a high altitude. As it slowly approached the point directly overhead, the object also had begun to lose its shape, size, and intensity of luminosity. When it was directly overhead, the object ceased to exist, although I continued to observe this overhead location for another 30 minutes and could still (but barely) make out a faint amorphous form in its place. At this point, and all throughout the observing period, there were still no clouds in the sky, and we heard no sounds from the object. There were occasional commercial aircraft traversing the sky at various altitudes, but none had any interaction or effect on this object, which was at an unknown but seemingly high altitude. I did not see any reports in this morning's (Wednesday) local daily newspaper. I don't know if it was mentioned on any local radio or TV stations.

Driving to a friend's house in the early evening i spotted what appeared to be many orb looking objects moving very slowly from North

Approaching my friends house i observed multiple lights moving from North to South at an elevation of apx. 2000 feet. I parked my vehicle and under closer analysis I thought these 6 or 7 orbs I saw might actually be on object because I didn't see any individual movement. They seemed to be connected because they were moving in unison and didn't seem possible to be separate because of the same speed and distance between the light stayed the same. If it was one object, it was massive, because it covered the horizon from North to South! I ran to my friends house and insisted she come outside to observe this with me. At first she hesitated because she had company but eventually relented and came outside. I pointed to the sky and asked her what ist that?! She said she didn't know and said she had to get back in side... I couldn't believe how quickly she dismissed what we were observing! I stayed outside and watched it as it traveled over the Susquehanna River and over the hill towards the South/Southeast. This object/objects made no sound.

Triangle-shaped formation of 5-6 bright white circular objects that flew slowly from North to South with steady light and no noise

On a Saturday night, when I was in high school I was watching television at around midnight when my mother came to the living room because she heard a car stopped outside of our home. When we walked outside to see why the car had stopped, we observed that the occupants of the station wagon (4 adults) were looking up to the sky. When we turned our attention to the sky, we observed 5-6 bright white circular objects flying in a formation in the night sky from North to South. These objects, which travelled at a slow pace, made no noise and left no trails while they flew overhead. These objects flew at about a distance of 1000 to 1500 feet above the ground. As I remember, the objcts flew in a triangular formation but did not stay in this formation. The objects criss-crossed each other, changing positions in the formation, in a way that I would not think to be possible from any type of aircraft that I know of. We all stood there and watched these objects until they disappeared over the tree filled-horizon toward Route 17 and SUNY Binghamton. My mother called the State Police and they commented that they had several calls about these objects but the police did not know what they were. We watched the local news and looked in the local newspaper for several days following the incident and found no inforamtion describing this event.
