Three distinct lights in a horizontal line moving slowly towards the north then disappearing

I was outside walking the dog. The night sky is completely clear with lots of stars. I was looking west with the moon above the hills in front of me. To the right of the moon, I saw a perfect circle of white clouds. The inside of the circle was clear with an area of mist in the lower left corner, @ 7 o'clock. In that misty area were three distinct and bright golden white lights close together in a horizontal line. The circle moved forward towards me slightly. It then appeared to fade as it drifted North. I watched it slowly move and fade above the trees for less than a minute. It suddenly disappeared. There were no clouds or mist anywhere in the sky. The wind is blowing from the north. The clouds were moving into the wind.

Red Glowing light flying incredibly fast

Taking my dog outside I looked up and I saw red light flying incredibly fast and disappeared. I went back to see if my Ring camera caught it. In the video you can't tell it's red because of camera's infrared light and it looks like its falling down but it was actually going straight. Definitely wasn't a shooting star. And you can see an airplane not far from it, airplane lights are flashing.

I was driving west when I saw a massive craft with lights on its wingtips fly extremely fast in the same direction directly overhead.

I was driving west near the intersection of W 116th St. and Ditch Rd. in Carmel, IN when I saw a massive craft directly overhead that was flying extremely fast. It was also traveling west like I was, so it came from behind me in the east. It was just after 1 AM so it was difficult to make out the exact color of the craft, but it appeared to either be black or dark gray. The shape was clearly that of a chevron and it was the size of at least several football fields. The wingtips each had several lights that interchangeably swapped between red and green at a very fast pace, about several times a second or so. It was only visible for several seconds before it disappeared into the distance; at first it was just traveling very fast, likely faster than the speed of sound. However, it became increasingly faster the longer it was in sight. Ultimately, it was so fast that it looked as if it left an after-image and just otherwise vanished.

Huge, bright red/orange lights over the ocean.

While on vacation from TX, admiring the beautiful night sky approximately 9:08pm, I saw 3 very bright, huge, round, orange/red lights that formed a triangle. I looked away and within a minute the sky lit up with probably10-12 very bright orange/red lights in 3 or 4 perfect lines of 5-6 per line. They were stationary and for a few seconds they took up a very large area. They didn’t move around except to disappear and appear again. Many remained and I had my husband look, he filmed only the very end. The video is of the last 31 seconds…Many in the middle had disappeared and left a few in front of me to my right. The few on the right didn’t form a specific shape but others to the left were disappearing and appearing in a perfect line much smaller and closer then the first lines. When the film is slowed it shows the line of lights changing colors to red, white, yellow and green. They didn’t move at all except for disappearing and appearing a few times and then they were completely gone. At the time I didn’t see the bright orange/red change colors but my husband had. When we watch the film 1 frame at a time you can see that the light farthest to the left is definitely in the shape of a triangle and the color change, but they all looked round to me. It was completely quiet during the whole sighting.

Looking west over the Pacific ocean from my home in Carmel, I saw huge (larger than stars or planets) bright red-orange fireballs or orbs bobbing and moving around over the ocean, for about 4 minutes. I went to get a camera and when I came back they were gone.

A flashing circle came back in the sky going back and forth flashing different colors while turning on and off.

I saw the first one around 1 hour earlier at 12:47am. I already submitted that story. I woke back up an hour later and this one seemed to be much lower, but farther away. It was flashing on and off so my camera could barely pick it up. If I hadn't already seen the one before I would have thought it was a planet, but this one was moving back and forth turning on and off. When it was on it was flashing yellow, orange, red and green. It went under the tree-line before I could see it take off again.

Bright light flashing multiple colors hovered for about 4 minutes, it did a circle and then took off at an unreal speed.

It was very high in the sky. It was a little larger than what mars looks like when we can see it at night. Hovering for about 3-4 minutes, flashing orange, red, yellow and green. After 3-4 minutes it did a circle and then took off into space at a physically impossible speed and left behind a trail of light as it zoomed away. I have a picture showing it’s a ring with an open center and a blurry video that shows the colors flashing. I don’t know where I can submit this to but I put it on social media.

Cigar-shaped object at 200'

While walking the dog on a perfectly clear evening at 955pm, I observed a orange glowing object traveling in a straight line in a NE to SE direction. At first I thought it was fireworks since it was July 2. Then I thought it was a drone. But the object did not fizzle out like fireworks and there was no sound like a drone or erratic flight. The object was cigar shaped. No flashing lights but gave off a bright orange glow. I followed the flight of the object for several hundred feet before I lost sight of it over some trees. I captured a poor image of the object due to the time of day. It was getting dark and the object was moving at a pretty good speed before I was able to take the picture. I walk the dog at this spot at least 3 times a day and have not observed a similar incident. As an avid sky watcher, I can honestly say this was not anything normal such as drone or fireworks.

Thinner than a blimp but fatter than a cigar, flying low and slow. Close enough for witness to see ribbed features.

Object was thinner than a blimp, but fatter than a cigar-shaped. It had no wings, no windows and it was flying low enough that features like this would've been perceptible. It appeared to be made of metal and it was close enough that the witness could see ribbed features, almost able to make out bolts in it as though individual sheets of metal were fashioned together vertically. It felt like something manmade, somewhat primitive, not by any means advanced, but it was like nothing he'd ever seen before. It flew slow overhead across the Taconic State Parkway. He watched it fly over his car until it was completely out of sight (mainly due to the winding of the road) but it flew slow and low. He watched it from the driver's side window to the farthest stretch of the right end of his dashboard. Nothing protruded from it like you'd expect to see from a blimp. It felt like machinery, like something that should've had an engine making a lot of noise, especially for ! how low it was flying, but when he lowered the volume on his radio and opened his window all he heard was typical highway sounds (wheels on the pavement).

It started moving towards us after two minutes, and started to fly over us. Right before it came over us, it emitted a sound that sounded like a dirt bike engine, then two side lights came on next to the big one.

We only saw one light with our eyes, but caught all 5 on camera.

When object was first seen, only two lights were visible (one red and one white). I then noticed how low to the ground this craft was then I noticed the craft had stop traveling and was at this point hovering before and then began to travel back slightly in the direction it had just come from.

Next a spotlight became visible and scanned an area of ground very quickly. As soon as the spotlight disappeared three lights were visible in a triangle or v shape instead of only two and all three lights were now white. The craft hovered for a few moments then began to slowly descend as soon as the craft met the tree line from my few all lights disappeared and no craft was visible.

I sat parked on the side of the road a moment or so but the craft did not return

Bright red lights flying west-east over Lake Carmel.

After midnight, 12:24 am on January 1, 2015, I was on my back deck with my dog when I observed 2 bright red lights in the sky. I thought at first they were fireworks, because of New Year's celebrations, but then they started to move horizontally across the sky, west to east.

I ran to get my daughter, who came outside with her daughter, and by that time the lights had moved across the sky to the front of the house and were disappearing over the trees.

Then we went back in the house, and as we were looking out the back window, we saw another of the same lights, flying in the same direction.

These lights seemed to flicker or change color, and were moving at the speed of a plane, but the lights were too large to be a plane.

When I first saw the two initial lights, they were very close to each other, then got farther apart as they moved east. My only thought as to what this could be would be drones.

Coming out of Carmel cinema, we saw 2 red triangles flying parallel closely to the ground, making no noise.

They were flying slowly and then one started to blink until it disappeared. Soon after the other one started to blink and disappeared over the woods.

Then driving home we saw 2 more and pulled into the parking lot at Carmel diner to get a better look.

They were traveling very low and very slow in the same direction as the other 2, towards Carmel theater until we lost sight of them.

Five orange lights over Carmel Indiana

It was the end of a long work day, when a co-worker and I were walking out to the parking lot, joking about how he was going to be picked up by a helicopter.

As I looked to the Eastern sky I saw a large orange light hovering about 800 feet, or so, above the ground. I pointed at it and my co-worker, laughed, and said, "There it is now"

As I watched the object for a few seconds, I saw another orange light fade into view near the original, so I start walking in their direction. While I'm walking, I see another appear the very same way the second did, then another, then another (5 in total).

At this point, I've passed up my car and started jogging down 129th Street from Gray Road, towards Hazel Dell Road, where the lights seemed to be hovering.

Just as I moved past the tree line and into a clearing, I saw the bright orange lights very clear as they all started to move east in unison as if they were many parts of a whole.

They stayed on that course for another 10! seconds or so when they faded back into the dark night sky.

cylinder/oval emitting light, should have been back lit by sun, later simply disappeared

Glancing out kitchen window at approximately 0940, 11/28/12, easterly direction toward Santa Lucia mountains. At elevation of approximately 25 degrees, very bright oval/cylindrical object (approx. size of 2 to 3 book type match heads held at arm's length) at great distance out over Santa Lucias, should have been back lit which caught attention. Sun’s reflection could not be on side observed as it was to back and left of object hence light was not reflection, but apparently originating from object. Moving very slowly from left to right for less than 5 minutes and then simply, disappeared, vanished, gone. Observed by both wife and self.

(This is same brilliance/non-reflection as was another sighting in same direction some 2 years ago, likewise in morning light which should have been only back lit. Similar, prior sighting drifted towards me, maintain a dull yellow/tan bright color then morphed into a geometric “spiral” of 3 arms of 3 tendrils each with right angle bends. I had not heretofore reported this prior sighting but have clearly remembered it since…. Similar in front lighting with sun behind, same general direction.)

Shining light moving and then disappeared above Carmel New York

I was driving south on Horsepound road in Carmel, NY. In the sky to the south I saw a very brightly shining object moving across the sky. At first I thought it could have been a plane, but it was moving across the sky much faster than commercial airplanes seem to, and it seemed like it was at a lower altitude. Furthermore, it left behind no trail of any kind. I didn't think anything of it until it suddenly just totally vanished. I stopped my car and got out to look, I didn't hear anything and I couldn't see it or any trace of it again, although it should still have been well within my line of vision. When it was in sight it was shining very brightly, but I could definitely make out its form, it had a shape to it, and it was very visible even if it hadn't been shining.

Unidentified flying object - tracked for approximately one minute and was a spherical pulsating Orange-Red color.

At approximately 21:15 on August 27th, 2011, I and one other witness saw a spherical unidentified flying object for a duration of approximately one minute. This craft was a pulsating Orange-Red spherical object, and it made its way across the sky in the North to South direction. Its speed was approximately that of a commercial airliner. The UFO disappeared from sight after its lights were seen dimming for approximately 10 seconds.

Approximately 0610, 31 Dec. 2010, Carmel, CA. Appeared to be satellite transiting NE to S, approx. 60 degree elevation, estimate 4.0 to 3.5 magnitude brightness. Noticed however, that was not single, but two separate objects one following the other/identical path, separation less than narrow profile of book match head held at arm’s length. While small, definitely two separate objects/illuminations. Illumination lost at apogee approximately due E/SE. Could not find reference to two object or appearance as such illumination on satellite reference sites.

Orange light moving E to W at high altitude, red beacon visible after passing overhead

9-08-2009 21:31 EDT 39.9624°N, 86.1194°W I observed an object pass overhead at the referenced coordinates, orange, and about the same apparent size (perhaps 20% larger), magnitude, and color of Antares.

First observed about 60°elevation E. of zenith, as an orange light. After it passed directly overhead, a red flashing beacon was occasionally visible, but no strobes and no navigation lights. It traversed my entire 100° field of view in under 1 minute.

At the time of the observation, there were 2 commercial airliners passing to the south, one going East, the other, West. The aircraft was much higher and faster than either. I could not hear any engine noise after it passed overhead. (Generally, I can hear engine noise a few seconds after airliners pass overhead due to the speed of sound (1,100’/min.), and can guess their distance accordingly.) I heard the engines of the airliners after they’d passed.

We are near the Indianapolis Air Route Traffic Control Center (ZID). This did not resemble any airliner I’ve seen passing at night.

I suspect that the orange "light" was due to sunlight reflecting off the fuselage, but sunset was at 20:05.

1. How high did this aircraft have to be, to be able to reflect sunlight 1.5 hours after sunset? 2. What type of aircraft was this? (I suspect military, am unsure of size or type.) (The ISS, Cosmos 1844 and Resurs 1-4 objects were visible within a few minutes of this, but on different tracks and of different magnitudes.)

9/18/2008, Carmel, Indiana (39.978 N, 86.118 W). Clear, dark sky.

Walking my dog, I glanced westward and noticed a set of lights well below normal flight path for area airports.

We are approx. 12 miles from Indianapolis Int’l, and 5 miles from Indianapolis Executive airports. We are on no flight path for either, but can observe final approach from our location. 4 to 6 brilliant white strobe lights, flashing in random horizontal pattern, no top or bottom red lights, no navigation lights, were moving rapidly, approaching from west. First observed 20:55. Looked again after crossing street and they were much closer and at same relative altitude (neither ascending nor descending).

We walked around a 2-story building, looked west in a 50-foot gap between buildings and the lights were much closer still. We returned to our original position, and the lights were gone. No engine noise was ever heard. No lateral motion; it moved in a straight line directly toward us from due West.

Call to Executive Airport established no arrivals in the appropriate time frame.

round,small no bigger than a van, red lights surrounding it, seen in dark sky,seemed to be falling at first.

Saw an object in the sky over some trees, object appeared to be falling rapidly maybe crashing, then object slowly glided down into some fields. This was observed in a dark sky between 8:30-9:15pm. The object was very small not much bigger than a van and had red lights surrounding it, it appeared to be round. Once object was on the ground lights were no longer visible. Object was flying in a residential area, no airports etc. around. only homes and corn fields. No sounds were heard although I was driving at the time when observing it. Last year between October and December I observed what I thought was a meteor falling in the same area over the trees where I first observed this object in the sky.

he ciggarete that changed a mans life

I was walking outside to smoke a ciggarete when i saw a light flash ,very dim but still much of a flash and then and disc lik object appeared and flew directly over my house when it slowly faded, i walked out to my street when it had hidden itself from my vision as i was walking it flew close then started some what landing then i tried to run back to my house when it felt as a massive brush of wind hit me from behind and i felll then in pain i got up and as i saw tyhe craft i swear started to open and when i turned around my house was gone no traces it was just gone and as i turned around i felt light then when i looked down i was flying toward the craft and i went inside and then evrything since then was blank and when i woke up i was in my front dtep and my hand was scared with this vey odd symbol wich quickly faded i still hav no memory of when i was inside the craft but i truly hope that who i right this to can help me figure out what happened that night

Bright pinkish orange oval radiating light at 19:35 close to the horizon and about 15-29 degrees east of due north.

A oval star-like very bright "thing" quite close to the horizon. It was similar to the pinkish orange of Mars and much larger even at Mars closest point. It radiated a kind of glow. I watched it for about 4 or so minutes and it never moved (I had it between 2 wires for placement). All of a sudden it went up like the opposite of a shooting star! Now this was a very clear night. I could see tons of stars and planes (there was a lot of air traffic). I am very familiar with the flight path as I am out back every night I am in town. This object was low to the ground and about 15 -20 degrees east of due north.

2 Triangular shaped craft in Putnam County

There were two craft. One appeared closer than the other and they were hovering over a near by mountain range. The craft had lights positioned in a triangle formation around its perimeter. THere was also one small light in the center of the triangle. I was driving on the highway so I didn't get to see them for very long. I imagine that they stayed there for longer than I was able to see them.

Carmel, Indiana on US 31. On several occasions have noticed a bright light to the south west. Thought it was venus, however, this evening there were no other stars visible. In addition, I did see a jet approaching Indianapolis from the east and it was clearly moving. The bright light (or lights) I saw disappeared after about an hour although another set of lights, directly above but much higher, were still visible. I'm not sure what the object(s) were because 1) they did not move; 2) the one set of lights disappeared; and 3) no other lights (e.g., stars, planets, etc.) were visible in the night sky other than the jet that I saw.

Family sees triangular shaped ufo

First I should say that this event occured a long time ago, but my memory of the event is quite specific however. I had always been a huge UFO fan before I witnessed the object, and after I had to report it. (I may have reported this to your site before) We (my brother, myself, and the driver: my dad) were all driving down a road to get home after we had been out at my family's. This is a particularly 'country' type road and I always see lights in the sky that I "hope are real" UFO's on road's like these but quickly dismiss them as airplanes or other aircraft. THIS WAS NOT ONE OF THOSE NIGHTS.

I think it was about 11:30 p.m. when we first spotted the object. Only my brother and I were witnesses to the triangular shaped craft, my father had no interest in our "whoa look at this!" and other mentions of the unusual thing. He had to keep his eye's on the road, and I was bending my neck backwards just to get a look at it.

What's original about my sighting was that the object seemed particularly interested in us and the car we were in. I felt it could sense our fascination of the object and the feeling seemed that it was "curious" of our reaction, when most might be horrified. It hovered around thirty feet OR LESS directly above our car and wavered slightly from side to side to give me a few good looks at it.

It was definitely triangular without a doubt, with a red, white, and possibly blue lights on the tips (oddly). I thought I saw a light on the top which would make it a pyramid, but my brother saw no such thing. There were no odd car reactions (i.e. car suddenly stopping) and the object simply left when we got to a more populated area. I think a saw a car far behind us in the incident so we may not of been the only witnesses. Threw the whole ordeal the object emitted no sound. Which makes it extremely unlikely that it was some kind of experimental government craft, note that there were (laughs) NO GOVERNMENT BASES OR TEST SITES IN THE AREA. After a careful analysis of what I saw I concluded it was a UFO which could not be identified by any terrestrial craft or natural events.

My friends and I were sitting on Carmel Beach facing west. It was pitch black outside. Approximately three to four miles of the cost we saw six very bright lights hovering over the ocean. There were no blinking lights or beacons. They were very bright and very clear. I was in the US Coast Guard and I was in aviation, stationed at Air Station San Diego. I was trained in aviation and I had never seen anything like this. I had never seen or heard of any aircraft behaving in this manner. Nor have I seen anything like this since.

IT was a fireball that left a trail and although i don't think it was fire it appeared as so.

Diffuse white light morphs to large circle 100 ft dia. or possibly orb of many indescribable colors, shrinks to 25 ft dia. and shoots off.

Driving on I-84, 1 mile east of Carmel, NY, on ramp from behind rock ledge at edge of hwy. approx. 50 ft. above hwy. appeared diffuse white light. As light seemed to drift to spot directly above hwy., approx. 5 sec., it was morphing to a perfect circle of undulating flames of many, many colors. circle was approx. 100 ft. above hwy. and approx. 100 ft. in dia. we watched for approx. 5 min. circle then became smaller to dia. of approx.25 ft. and became solid white. Circle then shot off to SE, as if a shooting star, gaining altitude and disappearing into space. As witnessed by myself and two others.

Large Longated Triangular The size of 2 football fields, came from the south mountaian of the Fish ranch and hovered.

My mom , Friends and I were coming from a days outing in Big Sur. We were dropping one of our friends off at home at the mouth of Carmel Valley, when what appeared to be a large Craft came out of or just over the top of the mountain. It was very large and did not look like anything of that of a conventional aircraft. The shape was that of a long triangal squared off at the back and tapered to a point as to what appeared to be the front secondary to the direction it moved. The craft moved slow and then to a stop, and hovered With only that of a hush like hum type of sound, then it moved slowly to the north towards Monterey. We followed it to the top of Carmel hill in which the craft shot out over Monterey Bay very fast in a North West direction. At that point we decided to visit Monterey Airport, only to find that there was nothing found on radar and no in coming or outgoing flights were scheduled in the monterey area at that time. As a note further on the description of the craft, it did have spiratic lights of green, red and yellowaround the sides and base of the craft. All I can say is that it was very exciting to se and I will always wonder.
