Myself and my girfriend had just arrived home from working (both lawyers) and were pulling in the garage when I notice a top or diamond shape object motionless in the night sky. Eye it was my foggy vision or the object seemed be surrounded by an aura or fog..it didn't have clearly defined edges..it looked fuzzy. All around it appeared to be lighteming type veins of different colors flash randomly..red, green blue,in lightening fashion. It was dead silent as it hoover in one spot for a long time before slowly drafting in a southwest direct but stayed in our field of view. After about, we notice two fast moving lights with jet like sound coming from east by northest direction which is the direction of a U.S. airforce base..when I looked back in the direction of the object, it was gone...jets came streaking by right where the object was before disappearing.

White orb of light moving across sky, makes sudden 90' turn.

At 2:30 am, I went out to the driveway to start my car. I saw a light in the sky that I thought might be a helicopter with a spotlight facing in my direction. It looked like a white orb of light with beams extending out of it, similar to a star but much larger. About the size of a dime at arms length.

Its position in the sky was where I sometimes see the life flight helicopter. It was moving across the sky at a similar speed to a helicopter but was also gaining altitude. The brightness of the light decreased as it got higher.

The suburban neighborhood was completely noiseless at this late hour, no traffic and no wind. It was very cold out, around 18 degrees. The light never made any noises at all. I often sky watch to look at stars and whenever I see any type of aircraft, no matter how high I can always hear the engine noises clearly. This light was 100% silent.

The movement of the light was a bit strange, almost jerky and I thought I could see a small green light on the top. The light moved behind a group of several trees trees at one point and then came out the other side. I could still see it a little between the branches.

After it cleared the trees and continued going up and forward the light arrived at the spot in the sky that was exactly parallel to the direction I was facing. At that point it suddenly stopped and immediately made a 90 degree turn. So now the light was on a path that would fly directly over my head. I think it might have slowed a little first before turning, just for a fraction of a second, but it basically just turned on a dime. No arc or obvious slowdown, it just happened really fast.

At this time the light was smaller and was comparable to venus on a very clear night (except that it was moving).

The quietness of the surroundings and having this strange silent light suddenly turn in my direction caused me concern. I know this is probably coincidence and not likely, but in my mind it felt like whatever it was saw me and turned to check me out. I realize there may be a rational explanation for this sighting but at the time I was feeling too exposed standing in the middle of a large parking lot and had to say "see ya", and turned and ran inside. A few minutes later I looked around and saw no more lights.

Could that have been a drone?? I am early 40's, music teacher and into science. Mostly physics and cosmology.

Am into some metaphysics and ufology but try to balance it by also following the skeptic scene. NEVER expected to see something unusual in the sky!

strange triangle of lights in the sky

Last night on July 4th,2014 my 11 yo daughter was at the back door calling in her puppy when she saw a triangular shaped object with a red long light and three smaller white lights on each corner traveling low over our home from south to north.

The object traveled over the field by our house and then disappeared. She came running into my bedroom to find me looking out the window towards the field due to feeling a strange energy and "wubbawubba" noise having passed over the house unlike a plane.

The object had moved much faster than any plane or jet that would pass over our house headed to fort drum.

We then noticed three red, yellow, and white lights in a triangular shape hovering over the east corner of the field. The lights seemed to be spinning and moving closer and further apart together at the same speed.

Then a fourth light appeared to the west of the triangle of lights with similar appearance.

The lights seemed to fade away into the sky after about 30 minutes.

These were NOT fireworks!

Light gray diamond- fighter jet style object flying over head at high speed in clear sky about 1 second to cross the sky.

During a day ice fishing a few winters back, I was standing around talking with a few friends. It was clear blue and was facing the south on the middle of Rocky Pond. There was snow covering the pond and ground surrounding the pond.

As I had been watching planes fly over at there usual flying altitude (30,000ft+) all day, I gazed up to look for some more planes. At I would estimate 15,000-20,000ft I noticed an object which I quickly thought as a plane due to its shape. But the speed which this object was moving there was no way it was a plane. At this distance it would have taken at least 30 seconds to watch a plane fly over and this object flew over from east to west in the southern sky in about 1 second.

I caught the glimpse of it after it was half way over the sky. It was a diamond-jet shape but much bigger maybe scaled up to about 5 fighter jets. It was a light gray to silver color but could not get a good idea of any other colors due to the speed it was traveling. The object was seen by at least one other friend maybe two.
