Craft was probably operating in phase-shifted mode (frequency). Visible energy signature across bottom of craft.

The object movement was from North to South in clear sky with no clouds. Seeing and transparency conditions were good to above average. I became aware of an object while looking up at Venus and known stars as I am an amateur astrophotographer. It looked as if it shouldn't be there, and I therefore categorized it as unusual. The object looked to be about a few hundred feet above and slightly to the west of N-S meridian. It could have been a mile or more and huge making it look closer as I had no real perspective in this patch of open sky.

It looked like a narrow white light that followed a curved hull design and stretched from one side to the other (east to west) but narrow and slightly chevron shaped. The point was directly under what I thought to be the center of a curved or displacement type of hull. The wings were following the edge of the hull in a slightly upward direction. While north of me the chevron light emission wings drew to the front of the object. As it moved directly in front of me the light was more or less straight across. As it moved south the wings were drawn to the back of the object and the point was forward. This is why I believe this was a curved or displacement hull of a cloaked or phase-shifted craft. I could not see a solid craft or object, just the light emission. Most likely this was a pill or egg shaped craft with an oval hull as opposed to flat. It could also have been a saucer shape. As it moved across my purview the light energy signature would shift depending on the part of the cloaked hull was in my direct line of sight.

The light energy that I could see was white but not bright. More of a slightly greyish look and an almost cloudy appearance. It was definitely there but would have been easy to miss had I not first been looking intently up at Venus and stars.

If this object was only a few hundred feet up, then it would have been about the size of a football field. But if it was a mile or more then it would have to have been quite large to make it appear much closer. Large being maybe the size of a modern aircraft carrier or a small city. It was difficult to judge. There was no noise, no jet or prop sound. Just eerily silent as it traversed North to South and then went out of sight over the small city of Geneva to my South.
The speed would also be difficult to determine due to a lack of perspective. It was faster than the time it would take for a commercial jetliner at say 30,000 ft to travel that distance. But then a jet of that size, at 1000 feet and same speed would take less time to traverse the same distance. From my advantage and being next to a 2-story building on my North, I watch this for about 100 degrees. Facing West thus my meridian would run East-West, I first saw it about 30 degrees North of my meridian. I last saw it about 70 degrees South of my meridian. It took about 60 seconds to cover that distance. Not sure how many miles that covers. If 10 miles, then ground equivalent speed would be approximately 600 mph. I would estimate the speed at between 400 and 600 mph.

I’m rather upset at myself. I was walking about 150 feet across a parking lot to go into the building. I left my iPhone in the car…..damn it! I figured by the time I ran back to my car for the phone I would miss the UAP so I just continued to stand and watch until it was out of sight.

Was driving to a plumbing call when a moving object appeared in the sky.

While driving westward on a gravel county road north of Geneva, Indiana, with my trainee in the passenger seat, I observed a peculiar object emerge from the overcast clouds. Initially, it appeared to be a conventional aircraft or a part thereof, resembling the horizontal orientation of an aircraft wing or a white propeller blade from a wind turbine.

Initial Observation:

The object presented itself horizontally before it began pitching and spinning, resembling an ungoverned propeller feathering unidirectionally.
This motion lasted for approximately four seconds, during which the object exhibited a very slow descent before it abruptly halted its descent and remained stationary.

Sudden Movement:

After a brief pause, the object accelerated across the sky at an estimated speed of 300-400 km/h, maintaining an altitude of approximately 2000 meters.
It continued to spin horizontally before coming to a stop once again in the sky, where it continued its rotation.

Final Observation and Disappearance:

The object then proceeded to thin out, diminishing its visibility until it completely vanished from sight.
My trainee, initially distracted, only observed the object upon my exclamation. He confirmed the sighting, especially noting the object's spinning and subsequent disappearance.

Additional Information:

No sound was perceived from the object throughout the duration of the sighting.
The entire event spanned approximately 15 seconds from the initial sighting to the object's disappearance.

Conclusion:
The nature of the object's appearance, its uncharacteristic maneuvers, sudden acceleration, and eventual disappearance does not align with conventional aircraft or known atmospheric phenomena. The object's ability to halt its descent, accelerate to high speeds abruptly, and then vanish is particularly noteworthy, suggesting characteristics not currently attributed to known man-made or natural objects.

Something I've never in my life seen before.

I was smoking a cigarette at about 12:30 at night. As a was finishing I noticed a large aircraft in the sky. It was very big and almost a complete circle. It stood in the exact same place for about 10 minutes. There was an red/organe light circling around it the entire time. It appeared to stay exactly where it was over lake Seneca not moving an inch as the stars around it did. I got a very good look at it and I have never seen anything like it before. And after about 10 minutes it just completely disappeared in what looked like a flash of lightning . It was below the clouds so it couldn't of been a satellite or star.there was also what look to be smaller aircraft around it just circling Tthese aircraft acted just like the big one just floating and resting emiting a similar light

We saw 50+ dots of light traveling in perfect unison one after the other, appearing in one spot and disappearing in another.

My father, mother, boyfriend, and I were outside our house watching the stars. We noticed a series of stars in a direct line and it took us a moment to realize that these stars were moving, perfectly alined and spaced exactly the same distance from each other moving in unison. The dots of light appeared to come out of thin air near a star and traveled in a diagonal line from bottom right to top left, and then proceeded to disappear next to another star. As we sat and watched them, we saw at least 50 of them, appearing, moving in perfect union, and then disappearing shortly after allowing another to come into sight. This went on for about 5 minutes when all of a sudden they stopped appearing and we watched the last few dots of light disappear next to the top left star. We all were slightly shocked at this and we talked trying to come up with explanations for what we saw, an asteroid didn't make sense and there's no planes that could fly so close together and ! so perfectly alined. There really was no logical explanation for what we saw.

Was woken by our dog barking upward start the sky and witnessed a orb/sphere like varied aura like color ufo.

My partner and i woke at about 5:15 a.m. to our dog barking upward at the sky out our the bay window, in-which brought our attention to notice what looked like a bright hovering star made of multi-color pulsating lights just SE of us. The unidentifiable object seemed to be a solid to our eyes (with pulsating red, white, bluish green lights).

After a few minutes of staring, we decided to video the unbelievable sighting. Prior to that, the object seemed to hover and slowly change position in a hovering motion.. When zooming in upon the video taken the object looks more orb/sphere like, than what we witnessed w/our naked eyes. During the event we saw 3-4 helicopters/planes go near the object then abruptly change direction nw(notsure if it was the same helicopters/planes that just circled around).

We both were mesmerized by the object and lost sight of it, especially with the multi color aura like beams that emitted from it, and only when checking the newly taken! video of the UAP to see if it recorded well on our IPhone 6/along with trying to view so we could get a better look at what it was. We both have experienced other uap’s (2 to be exact in the past) and odd synchronized events that we could not explain, but nothing that we were able to get pics/video of and as mesmerizing as this.

Fireball over state highway 318 NY.

I was driving my buddy home last night and we were traveling on state rt. 318 heading eastward. We happened to look up in the sky ahead of the car and we noticed what looked like an airplane on fire.

As we drew closer to it, it appeared to be an orange glowing ball.

I slowed down to about 20 mph and neither of us heard anything other than my car's engine and the sound of the tires on the road. It just seemed to hover over that spot and was about 200-300 yards up from the ground, which would've made it a very low-flying plane.

No noise, no exhaust could be seen or heard. My buddy continued to look out the windows as we passed it. He explained to me that it looked like it was following us.

He no sooner got that out of his mouth and then said that it had grown dim and then suddenly, it flashed out like a light switch.

There were other cars on the road at the time, so I imagine others had to have seen this too!

Red light flying large circles in the sky.

We were camping by the Seneca Lake in Sampson State Park south of Geneva, NY.

Campground is an old large military base.

Red light (much larger than any star) appeared in the northern horizon (above the tree line). It was moving closer toward us. There was NO sound! It came close to being overhead and started turning toward West.

As it turned, the large red light slowly disappeared, making it apparent that it was only pointing forward from the object. The object seemed to be on a circular path. In about ten minutes the same object appeared in the same spot in the sky and flying the same path as the first time only this time staying little further North. This happened two more times. This red light was never blinking or changing in any way except for the disappearance. To all of us watching it seemed that the object was moving in a slightly fluctuating speed although keeping a steady path. The overall speed was that of a helicopter. It was a clear night and the camp was a quiet place, yet none of us could hear any sound.

Strange red lights suspended in air then vanished

Was headed home on hwy 426 in Geneva around 9:30pm-9:45pm, just passing Seminole Woods subdivision when I noticed some peculiar reddish orange lights in the sky. Found it kind of strange because they were very still and not moving. They were suspended in the air. It was dark a lot of stars in the sky; however these stood out like a sore thumb and they were suspended very close about maybe 20-30 feet above Tree level.

My daughter said mom do you see those lights. I said yes honey probably beacon lights or maybe a helicopter; However as we observed the lights were not moving and weren't flashing they were about 8 to 9 of them in several angles and were very close. There was no noise, no flashes, and they were not moving.

My mom was in the passenger seat and I said mom, do you see the lights? She said yes that's strange. We arrived home dropped off my mother and my daughter and I returned to see if they were still there to make sure we were not losing our minds. They were all gone.

Today as I was traveling in a south eastern direction, at app 11 o’clock position in the sky, I saw a triangular shaped object, that appeared to have a halographic type of surface. This could have been bright white, flashing lights. The edges of the craft were sharp and clean, not rounded or blurry.

This is the second one of these I have seen, the first being in July of this year, also in the south eastern skies above Georgia. I did not report the first, but now that I have seen it again , I feel I must.

A triangular shaped UFO lined with red lights that went on and off at 3 second intervals.

I was driving East on Hwy 46, just entering into the town of Geneva, Florida heading towards Interstate 95 at approximately 9:35 pm. I was traveling about 60 MPH and I looked up to the left in the sky and saw a huge triangular shaped object that appeared to be ascending upward. I saw the underside of it and it had vertical lines (rows) of red lights aligned in straight rows. The lights were fading on and off, not quickly but maybe 3 seconds on, and 3 seconds off. It was traveling West and since I was traveling East at 60 MPH, I only saw it for a brief time. I tried to pull my car to the side of the road so I could turn around and watch more, but by the time I did, there was nothing more to see.

Light/object in Western Chicago suburbs

Large star like light in the northeast sky towards Chicago. Moved erratically within a certain area over the sky, if it had stayed still I would have thought it just a large star. Seemed to be either emitting a light or electric charges or what I saw as possible machine gun fire type light around the light/object. It would quickly move to the direction of the discharged light. Seemed to be able to move in any direction at what must have been very fast speeds at the distance I saw it from. Stayed in northeast sky from 1 am when I awoke and went outside first saw it, to about 3 when i was finally able to just stop looking and go to sleep. So at-least 2 hours.

Labor Day 2009, overlooking Lake Erie with object that appears to have come out of the water!

I took a picture on a clear day, and the Lake Erie was like "glass".. I took a picture of a sailboat that was about 1/4 mile off shore. The 1st picture I took on my digital camera had a Jet Ski in the front running in front, so I waited about 5 seconds and took another picture of this sailboat. There were no other boats out that day around there. I used the photo as "wallpaper" on my PC. Then I happened to notice something creepy coming out of the water behind the sailboat. There is even am upward spray of water. It look like a UFO that is tilted on a slight upward direction. Its oblong, darker on the bottom, lighter on top. I dont know what I have caught on camera, but it was NOT a blimp or plane. I didnt NOT make changes tothe picture. I have made copies on a 8X10 and CD.

Light / Star - faint at first. Increasing in brightness, with red / purple strobe light, appearing and disappearing

I was on lunch break during the night shift when a friend pointed a light in the west/north sky that resembled a star. He said he noticed it about half a month ago, in the same spot in the sky. He also said several people in the city have been talking about it.

Looking toward the sky, I saw a faint star that became brighter until it was a very bright white light above the horizon, but not as high to be a plane. The size seemed to increase, but that may only be because the brightest increased. The the light disappeared.

Within the half hour, the light continued to appear and disappear several times. On its reappearance, it was accompanied by a red light that appeared to be revolving around the white light. And there also appeared to be a purple-ish light. It was like stobe lights.

When we went outside again for break, two hour later, the lights could be seen again, white bright and reddish and purple, appearing and disappearing. The location of the lights moved slightly more north in the sky.

Later this date at 23:30 est, I checked the sky and saw only the bright white light. It appeared in the same location of the sky, west/north. This time it was only the bright white light, faint at first sight, and increasing in brightness, and then disappearing.

3 large amber colored lights hovering motionless in the sky.

I just exited I-88 and was traveling north on Orchard Rd. near Randall road about 8:00 in the evening on 9/15/06, when 3 large amber colored lights caught my attention well off in the distance and a couple hundred feet or so in the sky. I was driving for about 10 minutes and still couldn't tell exactly where the lights were hovering over, by the time I reached my destination. I'm guessing they were over St. Charles or South Elgin. But what I found so bizarre was that they didn't move at all. At first I thought they might be helicopters doing a search, but there was no searchlight scanning the ground or operating lights on the craft or perhaps light standards like you'd see at a high school football stadium, except there were no supports, and were way too high in the sky. Not only that, but they were just a solid amber colored light, with very little glow around them. I thought for sure other people must be seeing this as there was alot of traffic along Randall road that night. Finally, they just disappeared one by one, from right to left, leaving behind nothing but sky. I contacted the state police, but no one reported seeing anything. Did anyone else see this?

3 Bright lites hovering 5,000 ft.above the water with no sound at 5pm on the 15th.of this month. AWESOM!!

I'm a trucker and I was traveling westbound on Hwy.46 about 15 miles from I-95. I was about to enter seminole county and I saw the lights. I thought they were Helecopters,but,as I got closer, they were'nt moving. Just kinda of sitting in the sky, Very bright lites. I noticed a green/violet hue to there lites. No sound cause I pulled over near a boat ramp to see. It just hit me when I read the sighting from the posting from orlando. I blew it off and never thought about it till now. I remember it like it was yesterday. They just hovered over the water in those lakes at the seminole/brevard county lines out in the swamp.I was going west and they were on my left side about 11 o'clock about 5,000 ft.from the water and just sitting in the sky.I never believed in this stuff till I saw it for myself.the formation was 3lites!

This is not a "flying saucer" in the classic sense, but it was wierd.

About 11pm I was leaving my house to take my dog for his evening walk, and, as I always do when I walk out of the house, I looked up to check the stars out. I saw a really strange sight.

It was a perfectly clear, beautiful night, with a full moon. But when I looked up, there was a perfect circle of clouds surrounding the moon. Imagine a bull's eye with the moon at the center. Or a ring surrounding a fixed point, that's what I was staring at. But it was clouds. And the moon was at the EXACT center.

The cloud formation had to be a couple of miles in diameter. I almost thought it must be like the eye of a hurricane, except we had high pressure over us all day and therefore I don't think we would get any type of cloud formation like this. '

I couldn't stop staring at it as I walked my dog, and by the time we got back fifteen minutes later the formation was being absorbed by other clouds moving in.

It was certainly the strangest weather formation I've ever seen. Have no idea why this would happen, but thought that someone might find it interesting.

Flying light over a feild on the way to work.

There was a small light over a feild when we were driving to work. I told my friend that i keep seeing something and for him to pull over. We sat there looking at this little light moving all over the feild from being very low to very high in the air. Then out of no where it was just gone. Im not sure what it was. But we felt like it wanted to be seen.

White sphere follows driver

My grandmother was on her way to work following her routine route, and as she pulled out onto a road, she saw a bright white sphere about 1,000 feet in the sky. As she drove down the road she grew uneasy, and didn't know what to think. She felt compelled to stop the car and look at it further. As she drove, she noticed the white sphere was following her, and came about only 100 feet from her car. Every time she looked into her rear view mirror, she noticed the sphere was getting closer. She made it to work on time, and as she left her car to walk into the building where she worked, the sphere was still there. She noticed the sphere had a haze around it. She reported no Missing Time situation, and she heard no sound from the sphere.

Yellow spheres above treeline constantly moving and changing alignment

I was driving home and saw the several lighted spheres above the tree line on the right, it was about 1 mile after turning onto hwy 240 from hwy 80 there is a sharp curve to the right where we have seen unusual lights before. I was with my three daughters(two 17 year old twins and an 11 year old). All four of us saw multiple lighted spheres approximately 6 that were about a mile away through the woods just above the treeline. They started out in a V shape then moved to a line. I rushed home and returned with a camera about ten minutes later. The spheres were now in an L shape and still moving around. Some would fade out and disappear then reappear. They would move in all directions but stayed about the same distance from us. The spheres were a yellowish/white color. I had a similar instance occur about a year earlier in the exact same spot.

Circular craft during the Leonid Meteor Storm

Set my alarm for 4:00 am to watch the Leonid meteor storm on Saturday. It was pretty cold outside, so I bundled up in layers and took my 2 dogs out with me. Meteor storm was strong and sighted many right away. Pretty consistent and most noticeable along the horizon in a 360, so I decided to go to the front of my apartment and face South-Southeast to watch. All meteors had long, distinct tails. I live under one of the main flight paths for the Syracuse airport and I am used to all the planes. About 20 minutes into my watching I noticed one plane that was going along at a slightly different speed, a little faster than normal for a plane with a very steady, smooth flight. At first I thought it was a plane, but quickly realized it had no landing lights on, no colored or blinking lights either. This was a strong white light, about the magnitude of one of the planets, and wasn't blinking. The shape was circular and it did not appear to be attached to any larger body, just a light. I have to mention here, that it seemed to blend in very well with the star-filled backdrop. If I hadn't been looking in that exact location, I would have missed it. I watched it transverse the skyline for approx. 4-5 seconds traveling west to east, and then simply fade out. It did not burn up like the meteors or have a tail, and it was on a straight horizonital flight path. Sort of freaked out by it and getting cold, I decided to go into the apartment to warm up. At about 4:45 am I decided to stay inside and watch the storm from my glass door b/c the meteors were certainly strong enough to watch from inside. There are two trees in my backyard and I have to look through the branches to see the sky, but it worked fine for viewing. It wasn't long before I noticed a second light just the same as the first, go from above my apartment and over the trees. This one was slightly lower in altitude and heading from the South to the North. It didn't go very far in it's direction before it did the same thing by fading out. Very excit! ing...di dn't want to go to bed after this.

I am a 34 yr old female. Consider myself very level-headed, I don't do drugs and I don't drink. I just finished my bachelor's in geography last year as a returning adult. I work now in the environmental remediation field. And I am an amateur astronomer, and have been since I was 10. I try to catch every meteor shower that is visible at this latitude, and am used to spotting satellites and identifying planets, constellations, etc. Also I think I should mention that I have had several "sightings" over the years because I am out alot at night. This incident in my experience is a mild one. I have had other sightings that were alot more bizarre, and started at a very young age. I could fill out several pages with information from several different cities and in different states. My most bizarre is a low-flying stingray that looked as if it was cloaked several years ago. Other people that lived along the same lake as myself, described the same kind of craft at other times. All I could think is that it was straight from the scripts of Star Wars or Star Trek. That was my best sighting...

one bright object which turned into eleven

It started with a bright orange or firey colored light which got dimmer then went out and then started brightagain and then got dimmer then went out. The object did this about 4 times , then the fifth time it apeared there were about eleven of them , only alot smaller and were in kind of formation then they just dissapeard, this whole event lasted about fifteen seconds. It was hard to tell how close it was, but to me it looked like it was a mile to a mile and a half away from me, which was south east of me just after the sun had gone down, you could just start seeing a few stars. The main object was round , i had my binoculars on it for the last single bright object and when it turned into 11 objects. The object really didnt look any different except brighter. I talked to a few other people that said they saw it also.

I was driving with my sister when I was still in high school. It was around 8 I'm guessing, but either way the sun was setting to our right, and in front of us, above the treeline, it looked like a glowing blue orb thing in the sky about a mile away. I pointed it to my sister and she wondered what it was also. We kept driving and the treeline hid the object, when I came to the top of another small hill and saw it again, very clearly, but then the treeline hid it again and then I didn't see it again. It looked pretty big, maybe 60-100ft at what looked like a mile away. It was pretty low in the sky, and was a kind of luminous light blue color, and it seemed a little darker around the edges.

Two non-blinking red lights moved south to north. The lights covered 90 degrees of arc in approximately one minute. There were no white or green lights. There was no sound. There was no sound.

My wife and I were going for our evening walk. We were watching the sky for possible meteors as the Leonids were approaching. We noticed these two red lights moving from South to North, but could not see any shape of an aircraft with the lights. The lights were very odd. They looked diffused. We had to keep re-focusing on them to keep them in sight even though they were directly overhead and not that far away. We estimate the lights at an altitude of 10,000 to 20,000 feet based on the planes that were in the sky at that time. We live about 24 miles from O'Hare airport in Chicago. At any given time, we can see at least a dozen planes in the sky. The sky was perfectly clear. The strangest thing was the lack of any sound and the way the lights appeared. Lights from other planes in the sky at the time were sharply visible. These were fuzzy. Both my wife and I have college educations and have been in the business world for decades.

A large craft came in from over the lake and proceeded to track us as we ran towards our car.

4 friends and myself witnessed a strange looking light over the lake while stargazing. Watched it for a while until it began to come our direction. As it came closer we realized its size (around half a football field) and that we had never seen anything like it before. (Metallic with dim lights) It scared us. We were at the end of a long pier and far from our vehicle, so we began to run in the direction of the parking lot. The object began to follow and track us across a large grassy area between the pier and parking lot. When it got directly over our heads we would turn to evade it but it would follow our movements. Finally we stopped as we couldn’t avoid it. The object hovered, silently, directly above us, for around 2 minutes and then proceeded down the coast of Geneva on the lake disappearing in the direction of Erie Pennsylvania. We contacted the park rangers who did arrive and take our report, but we never heard anything from them. This has stayed with me for 25 years.

An unusual bright white sphere follows an uneasy driver

My grandma was driving to work and as she made a right turn onto a road she noticed a bright sphere of light. It was early in the morning and the sun was not up. The sphere was a bright white light. As she drove, every time she looked in her mirror it kept getting closer. It seemed to be following her. She noticed it was flying very low at about 1,000 ft. She felt very uneasy. She made it to work routinely. She had no "missing time" situation, and she got to work on time. There was only one object, and was a sphere shape. It did not pulsate or change color. There are no other witnesses that she knows of.

brite white light moving real slow with no sound at 3am

back in 95 i moved in back with my parents for a short time in geneva ny .while laying on the living room floor watching tv at 3am i seen a white light that i never seen befor thru the tree's not thinking much about it at the time went back to watching tv. 30 min later as i looked out the window i see that the light was still there but looked a little higher then when i first seen it .so now my eye's are on this light that im watching for 10 min or so when the light slowly start's to move toward's me from the west to the east .so i go outside the light only 150 to 200 feet high with no sound coming right at me just over the tree's and house's .

i ran inside and woke my younger sister .as we got outside the light still coming towads us she says oh it just an airplane and went back inside.

airplane is she crazy .so i light a smoke and keep watching the light still moving slowly from the west as it gets closer the light is vary bright and hard to look at but thare is no light on the tree's or house's .now im thinking what the f**k is this. the light now has moved a little to the left but still moving east so i have to run to the corner of my strret .when i get to the corner the light is big and bright and passing right over my head . its big and no sound and moving real slow and about 150 feet high the light kept moving east till i could no longer see it.

anyway this was no chopper or airplane i can tell you that!

Enormous Cigar shaped craft, no wings, no windows, no sound, incredible rate of speed, over Lake Erie, in Ohio, chased by helicopter.

I arrived at work and parked my car, and proceeded to walk, heading north across the parking lot to the automotive repair shop that I work in. As I was walking , I noticed a very large cigar shaped craft in the sky approx. 10,000 - 20,000 feet up in the air. It was heading east over Lake Erie at an incredible rate of speed. I watched it for a few minutes to make sure I was actually seeing this. It was an enormous craft, much larger than any conventional aircraft I have ever seen, I presume it would dwarf a B-52 bomber ten fold. I could not see any wings or windows on this craft. It made no audible sound. Upon sighting this craft I yelled for my other 2 co-workers to come and see this craft. They ran outside and spied it just as it left our field of vision. Within 30 minutes went outside to watch a very large helicopter, unmarked and solid grey, with a very large gun fly over our area heading northeast to Lake Erie. For the next 3 months we witnessed Apache helicopters flying patrols along the lake, always flying east, 3 helicopters in each patrol. After a few months the patrols stopped and we never heard or witnessed anything else out of the ordinary.

An glowing, orange colored disk moving from south to north traveled directly over my house...

It was mid-April 1966, and the buds were just coming out on the trees. I was laying on my bed, looking out my window at the sky, about 10:30 PM. I notice an orangish light moving in the distance - heading in my direction. It was unusual, so I ran and got my parents (I was 14 at the time). They both came to my room, and we all looked out my window. By now, the thing was nearly overhead. It looked low - maybe only a couple hundred feet high. No sound. My folks opened the window, and pushed me away from it. I went to a northern exposure window, and watched this glowing disk continue northward. It dropped three small whitish or glowing lights out, then continued northward and disappeared in the distance. The whole event happened in a minute or less. Years later, I saw that same orange color while paging through a magazine about Auroras. Ionized diatomic oxygen gives off that orange glow. Whatever this thing was, it must have been electrically ionizing the air around it! One other thing. This occurred about the same time as the Catalina Island sighting. I have a feeling that one was a real sighting (too)!

While marching on a bivouac maneuver in (?) September 1954, I caught a glimpse overhead of a disc-shaped, metallic in color object that just came from nowhere straight down and stopped. The bottom was concave and very distinct in detail. I was called upon to "eyes front" while I marched, but I couldn't help but look back up and when I did, it just shot straight up from a large disc to nothing. What I mean is, it shot up at such speed that it kept getting smaller and smaller and then disappeared. I know what I saw and can draw a very vivid picture of it if needs be. It was definitely not a weather balloon ! ! I've never spoken of it. You just didn't do that. Until now. Thanks for listening.
