Two dark objects linked by a cable or rope, each about 2-3x size of large trash can, moving North about 30kts, near STS airport

I live in Windsor, CA about 1 mile NE of Sonoma County Airport (STS). At 8:35pm local time on 5/26/2025 I was in my back yard with a clear view to the West, and noticed a set of two unusual small dark objects in the sky a short distance to the West that appeared to be linked together moving through the sky from South to North, about 1 mile North of main runway threshold, at around 1,000ft elevation. This is in the same area that is the typical takeoff flight path for the STS airport. Each object was roughly oblong or rectangular in shape and similar in size to the other, each about 2-3x the size of a large trash can. They were moving too fast to be unpowered balloon(s), probably 30kts +/- or more, and roughly maintaining altitude.

The objects were out of view in about 30 seconds after initial sighting. I was able to get photos with my phone at highest magnification, no time to get a larger camera or binoculars. There was no engine sound heard. The objects were moving together in a fashion that suggested perhaps the lower object was hanging or swinging from the upper one.

Awoke at around 2 am to see a large disk with orange and white lights rotating along it's circumference

I awoke at around 2 am to a beam of light shooting into my window I then looked outside and witnessed a large circular typical flying saucer craft hover outside my dwelling I observed lights in a triangular formation on the bottom of the craft. The edges of the craft had dark orange and white light rings that appeared to rotate around it I stared at it for about a minute then it darted away I'd say it was 100 ft or less above and immediately disappeared at the speed of light

Saw a cigar shaped object moving overhead from southwest to northeast

While standing in my backyard, stargazing, I saw a cigar shaped silvery white object above me flying toward the northeast at a fairly rapid pace. I watched for several seconds (3-5) then decided it was worth recording with my iPhone. It flew out of my view after about 30 seconds. I have seen the ISS on several occasions, and this object did not appear as a bright light like the ISS. I have also seen Starlink and this was not a “string” of lights. It appeared solid, with no flashing lights and it made no sound. The video is fairly clear and I have not edited it in any way.

Fuzzy Soft White light traveling ESE

I was on my outside deck setting up my telescope. I do astrophotography. Facing S, I looked up and noticed this Fuzzy Soft White light moving E then SE for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Not one cloud in the sky. This is the second time I have seen the same object in the same or close location. The second time I had my wife as a witness.

The first time I saw it, about 2 weeks prior, it only lasted about 5 seconds and disappeared. I couldn’t believe what I had just seen. The sky’s were totally clear except for the far E. The object appeared as though it was behind a cloud bank, maybe trying to cloak itself to keep from being identified.

We have dozens of planes flying each night close to our house and this was no plane, not even close. It was about about the size of a dime or penny held at arms length.

Saw a wedge-shaped aircraft with a light on the nose, and two lights down either side (not on the bottom), for a total of 5 lights.

About 3:00 AM in Colorado a month ago and absolutely no noise. The lights were not very bright, and I watched it go across the sky until it disappeared behind my neighbor's trees. I'm assuming some kind of experimental military aircraft. It sure was cool, and the total silence was kind of chilling. Any idea of what I saw?

Well um so I have been being followed for few months now it seems and that's why I took the video. It wasn't because I saw anything with my eyes in real time. I had no clue that these things or thing is there. Because you can not see them . But the camera can them and my dog can see them . If I got my camera out now and shot a video I can capture it or them on it. They have been outside my front door too they are in my apartment and I just the lucky one or is this going on always . Exceptionally big and bright star/planet-like light briefly appears in SE sky, then vanishes, as though getting shut off.

My daughter and I were sitting in chairs by our vehicle outside in a parking lot at the Joel C. Bradshaw Fairgrounds, waiting for the 9:00 PM touring Drive-In Laser Light Show by Cabin Fever to begin. Just before 8:45 PM, prior to the beginning of the show, we were looking at the southeastern sky when what looked like an exceptionally large and bright whitish colored star or planet caught our attention. Almost no sooner than we noticed it, it disappeared from our sight, as though it were just shut off. As I began to wonder what I had just seen, I heard the group of people sitting next to me begin discussing the same sighting, trying to figure out what it was. I joined their discussion, and all of us agreed that it wasn't the ISS, a star, or a planet. Not knowing what it was, we could only think of it as a UFO.

A few minutes later, my husband rejoined my daughter and I after using one of the porta-potties, which was across the street from the parking lot -- a sizable walking distance away. He said that he and a few others in line had also witnessed this unknown and interesting phenomenon.

I am sure that many other people witnessed this unusual sighting as well, since it was visible at a large event with at least a couple thousand people in attendance.

Myself and a buddy were outside hanging out and I saw a white light, like that of a radio tower light, in one spot by a tree, I look at every light in the sky to make sure it's a plane or a meteor or comet so I looked again and it then shifted to the left with one more flash if light. My buddy said "did you see that?" I said yeah I saw a light less than 2 seconds ago over there (pointing to my right) the we both stood up and he saw it again WAY further to the left and he said it shot strait up and disappeared (I did not see because my vantage point was different) but I look for these things, I've never seen one before and I know what the ISS is and I track that at night. It wasn't the SpaceX new internet stuff they have put up. It wasn't a comet or a meteor I know what that is as well. We are out in the country so we are very fortunate to be able to see the sky without light pollution. This entire event we saw less than an hour ago took approximat! ely 5 seconds. Very VERY cool experience. If anyone in the Windsor area or Suffolk area of Virginia saw the same thing PLEASE report it to the database. I hope others saw what we saw.

Bright object traveling low from south to north. No sound.

Dark, cloudless, morning sky lit up like lighting flashes for a few seconds.

Reviewed wildfire cameras and could see Bright object had traveled from south to north at low elevation. No audible sound of aircraft was heard.

Video footage from the cameras became non retrievable, as in the videos would not show anything after 03:30, or would fail to load specific cameras that recorded objects flight path. Reviewing of any available videos after 12 hours later shows no light/craft traveling at all.

I was outside and happened to glance to the west of windsor focusing ona peculiar light. At first I thought it was a star but was alot brighter than anything in the sky. As I continued to stare at the light I noticed rays of light illuminating from what looked like a sphere. I noticed faintly that the center was darker almost looked like a dark sphere inside . I counted 9 rays shooting out of the sphere. This lasted about 20 mins and it was still the whole time but was slowly either fading away or traveling further than I could see. Eventually I took a video on my phone with not that much detail and took some pictures on my hi definitely camera. The results were very interesting to say the least. I'm glad I saw what I saw. Feel very lucky to have seen something like this.

On 91 ramp in Eindsor Licks saw a flat disk with two bright lights hovering.

I was on an on ramp to get onto 91 south in the Windsor Locks area and I saw a flat dark disk with two bright lights on it. I initially thought it was an airplane however when I pulled my car over to take a longer look it had disappeared. There were no trees or faulty sight lines blocking it--it was too high up in the air.

Taking pictures of moon sky tiny blue dot appeared moving up down side to side changing shapes flashes

Observing what looked to be a full moon on 3/21/19, I started taking pictures with my iPhone. My iphone camera was set on the “Live” setting when I started To take pictures. Each time I’d raise my camera to the moon a blue object would appear darting back & forth and up & down at times. The object started as a tiny dot then to a tiny streak of blue light.

I continued to take picture after picture the blue dot streak still moving about changing its shape. After a while of this I went inside garage to enlarge a few pictures. There are Many different pictures all with movement (Live) two or three pictures are saucer shaped & when enlarged look exactly like a blue flying saucer.

Almost forgot to mention, while in the garage, each time I’d raise the camera, two blue lines would appear in the shot. Sometimes they were upright in position other times horizontal but always two. I can’t make sense of what was happening that night, so I am reporting it. I do have photos of what took place in the moonlit sky on 03/21/19. Thank you.

6:00 a.m. eastern sky, watched what appeared to be a drone? but the bright white light was far too bright and high in sky. At first notice, was well above tree line then it started climbing in elevation straight up into sky. I researched information online on what it could be, could be a comet. I do not believe it is extraterrestrial. Venus and Mercury converge on this day, but movement is unlike planetary orbit.

Red fireball lights

Two red glowing balls of light were traveling one behind the other right over a local annual event. The ball of light in back increased speed and passed the other than traveled in a downward motion and faded.

The other continued to travel straight but faded away a few seconds after the other.

I don't know if anyone attending the event saw them, as a band was playing, however I was across the street and saw them clearly for approximately five minutes.

GREEN AND RED FLASHING LIGHTS IN WESTERN SKY OVER VERMONT FROM EASTERN VERMONT.

MULTIPLE RED AND GREEN LIGHTS, WITH AN OCCASIONAL WHITE LIGHT, WERE FLASHING IN THE WESTERN SKY - IT STAYED IN THE SAME PLACE FOR APPROXIMATELY 35 MIN. AND THEN IT APPEARED THAT A WHITE BEAM OF LIGHT CAME OUT OF IT AND THEN IT STARTED TO MOVE OVER THE HORIZON IN THE WESTERN SKY. WE TRIED TO USE BINOCULARS TO SEE IT - THE LIGHTS BECAME MORE VISIBLE, BUT STILL COULD NOT DETERMINE THE EXACT SHAPE. AT FIRST WE THOGUTH THAT IT MIGHT BE A SATELLITE, OR THE SPACE STATION, BUT WE LOOKED THAT UP AND THEY WERE NOT ANYWHERE IN THIS REGION.

Extremely bright white and red flashing lights outside, lighting up our bedroom.

My wife and I were laying in bed and saw what appeared to be heat lightening flashing faintly outside our window. However, it quickly began flashing brighter and faster. Within about 5 seconds it appeared to be a very bright, white strobe light outside our window. Suddenly, our room lit up red. I jumped up and looked outside and it completely stopped. No noises were heard from our side during this time, and it definitely did not appear to be lightening or any type vehicle. My wife stated she has seen it for several nights now, but this was my first.

Also, I don't know if this is related or not, but my neighbor is claiming that something "very large" has been attacking his dog. His dog is fenced in his back yard and weighs approximately 75lbs.

It was early afternoon, I was driving southbound on county road 13, approximately 1/2 mile south of Hwy 392. I looked up to the NW and saw a large rectangular object moving very slowly to the the north. It was at cloud level. The edges were well illuminated but the entire center had a milky almost transparent color. The object turned west and instantly disappeared. I had pulled over to the east side of the road on the shoulder.

I was a bit dazed, but on the west side of the road was a small 4 door sedan with a woman, about 45 years old in the driver's seat and a young teen in the passenger seat. They had pulled over, and were stairing up at the same location. They had a similar stunned look on their faces.

White Object Following Route 9 In Windsor, MA.

Driving North on Route 9, a large white light appearing to follow the road, it looked like a small airplane that had no lights just completely white.

I would say it was about 30 feet off the ground as was going approx 50 to 60 miles an hour, because the distance remained the same from my vehicle for some time.

It appeared to then veer towards Route 8 A in Savoy, but when I turned on to Route 8A I could no longer see it.

Ball of Fire! UFO seen in rural area, by person with knowledge of sight and sound of man-made craft! PLEASE READ!!!

I have just left my mothers house and was getting into my car to head home. I live right next to her down the road so the drive is not far at all. As I left her porch I looked into the sky and saw what I would describe as a fireball sphere. It seemed to admit its own light and was mainly orange but occasionally a red a blue light would flash off. Figuring this was an airplane, considering I live a hop, skip and a jump from a airport in Franklin at which does frequent test flying, I did not take the object to heart. I proceeded to my car and backed up to go home. As I turned from my mothers driveway I saw the object once again but it was closer. I drove very slowly and watch as the object started to disappear little by little. But considering I drove right passed trees I put that as the reason.

I parked my car in my driveway and looked out for the object, but did not see it again. But not long after did I hear what sound like a helicopter or airplane. Weird.! But I must tell you I have lived in this area my whole life. I have seen helicopters, planes, and even jets over the years. I know their sight and sound. This was nothing like I have ever seen before.

Early AM pulsating and erratically shifting light/object.

Pulsating light low on horizon in E/SE ~0330 PST. This was during peak viewing for the blood mood. Probably 30 degrees above the horizon. I had thought it might be sirius, but the object exhibited clear, very pronounced movement in all directions - moreso on the Y axis. I even tried a few exercises of placing a firmly planted piece of wood to block the image out and eliminate the possibility of the movement being an illusion/autokinesis - only to have it emerge on one side or the other several times. Observed also through binoculars and green-red-blue pulsation and movement was more defined.

3 erratically moving bright "stars" in large right triangle shape.

My brother and I went to watch the Perseid Meteor Shower (we saw 4 meteors) at around 1:30 am and I noticed a rather bright star that was moving erratically in in small zigzags and backwards and forward at what seemed to be random.

A few minutes later I noticed another to the left of it about the distance of a ruler at arms length. I then saw the third dot above the first about half the rulers length, they formed a large right triangle in the sky and all moved around erratically.

We watched them for about 25 minutes before going back inside.

At 2:34 (now) they're still out there.

Rectangular silver object at the town pool.

My girlfriend and I were at the town's pool swimming laps and playing.

At 3:15 PM I looked up and saw an object with a silver rectangular structure with a pair of short stout brownish appendages that ran the full length of the rectangle's sides. Within the rectangle were two symmetrical dark gray circular disks.

The object had no sound. It did move in a normal flight pattern. Nothing odd here.

It flew to the south and curves southeast out of my sight.

My girlfriend wears glasses, however not in the pool. The object was large enough for me to track but she couldn't see anything.

I am not sure how high the object was, thus I am not sure of its size.

I hope I wasn't the only one at the pool to see it.

There were 250 to 300 people there, roughly.

Bright light traveled away and faded into a redshift until I could no longer see it.

It was just about 20:00h. I remembered I had to bring in the US Flag and turn on the porch lights. I stepped outside, and I just took the flag down and started to roll it up on the pole, when I looked up to see which constellations were out.

That’s when I saw a very bright white (soft white like a light bulb, but very bright) light just SW of the Big Dippers tail at about 35 to 45 degrees elevation from my position (38° 32' 58.7" N, 123° 10' 6.63" W). I noticed it at about 20:03h. The Burst of light was traveling away from me in the direction of two of the outermost stars of the Big Dippers Tail.

In about 3 to 4 seconds the light started to dim and shrink in size as the got farther away. Then the color of the light shifted reddish as it faded. If I remember my physics correctly, that may be because it was traveling away from me. Eventually it just faded to where I could no longer see it with my naked eyes.

Red flashing light in sky above Windsor Connecticut

I was taking out the trash at around 4:40 am. Looked up at the sky and saw a singular flashing red light holding a steady pattern. It seemed to travel across the sky holding a constant speed. I stared at it for about 40 seconds trying to see if I could see any additional lights to discern it to be an airplane, but when I realized that it was the only blinking light I knew what I was looking at was very strange. I turned my back to get my sister from inside and as I stepped onto the porch about 20 feet away I looked back and it had vanished from sight.

My companion and I witnessed a very bright, large, green ball which shot quickly behind the tree line.

I went outside at around 23:00 to have a cigarette with a friend whom is visiting from another state. I live in a very rural area, very wooded and with no close neighbors. The night was clear and many stars were visible as usual.

We sat outside for twenty minutes or so to watch the skies. I should note that in the past few weeks, I have witnessed some odd objects in the sky above my house, and thus we were looking for such. The lights we have seen lately are usually red in color, round or triangle shaped, and move too quickly to be stars. My companion and I noticed a couple of these, but as they have become so common, we were not particularly entranced. However, as we gazed to the East, we both saw a very large, VERY bright, green ball of light, which quickly shot above the tree line, in an Easterly direction. Once behind the tree line, the forest seemed to light up with a greenish glow for a couple seconds, then become dark again.

The object appeared to be close, though I cannot say for sure, as I was not sure the size or speed. Shortly after, we both heard the whir of what sounded like helicopters, though we did not see any. My cell phone battery also drained shortly after.

Prior to this event, a few weeks ago, I tried to film one of the red lights in the sky with my cell phone camera. The quality is very bad, and all I seemed to film was a glowing rectangle that looked nothing like the red light. I should have filed two report I suppose, but the moving red lights were witnessed by at least three other people.

Sighting of a UFO traveling over Rural Central Illinois.

The object I saw appeared as I was driving east the object moved from north to south over the town in which I live once it cleared our town it disappeared and then it started over where it first started it did this three times. The object was orange and move fairly fast. As we approached it it appeared brighter and it wasn't off in the distance it was directly over the town and traveled directly over my truck.

Splitting light

I was walking my dog around 22:45. I got to the end of the alley and was looking up, I saw a bright round white light heading east/south east traveling in an arc. No running lights what so ever. As I watched the white light split into 3 amber lights in a triangular formation, no flashing, just steady amber lights. Then it seemed to disappear. There was a small airplane a few minutes later traveling the same path about the same height in the sky.

Myself and a passenger observed a hovering and moving red ball of light while driving in a rural area.

I was heading southwest on a very rural and wooded road in a small town. I was driving the vehicle and had one passenger, a friend,in the front passenger seat. It was twilight, and the sky was still somewhat light.

We were in a heavily wooded area and all of a sudden to my left, quite high up in the sky, appeared a red ball of light. It looked like a red star, as it was at first, not moving. Upon closer look, it appeared to be hovering. It then dropped what could have been one hundred feet (more or less, as I had no idea how far away it was). At this point, my friend and I were intrigued and I pulled over to the side of the road. Again it hovered, but this time it looked almost as if it was spinning very fast and I noticed a gold tone within the red light.

I put my car in drive and moved forward about 20 feet. The object appeared to be "watching" us! It moved as if following my car, and stopped when i did! I then REVERSED the car about 30 feet, and the object reversed direction, again moving WITH my car! It stopped and hovered when I stopped my car, and continued to follow when i moved my car.

After a few minutes a car drove by from the opposite direction. The object continued to hover, appearing to watch us. Then another car drove by, and happened to be a relative of mine. He pulled over to see what I was doing and say hello, and as I was keeping an eye on the object, it faded and vanished completely. There was no noise of any kind the entire time of this happening, coming from the object.

We continued home without any additional events of this type. I should also mention, it was very hazy and humid but the sky was very clear.

bus sized fireball object over 91 about 3-400 ft up going about 150 mph at a downward 20 degree angle

Driving north on I-91 before the Bissel bridge exit around this date and time when I clearly seen a reddish orange fireball about the size of a city bus traveling about 150-200 mph going west and was about 3-500 feet high and was traveling slightly downward.

I was so amazed that I was looking at the cars passengers next to me and pointing towards it but I couldn't tell if they had seen it. I was so certain as to what I saw I almost drove to the area where it may have touched down. I thought it was an airplane engine because of the slow speed but was too big.

I was going to call the area police but I didn't want to sound like a joker. I was watching the news certain that many others saw it and called it in or it was some plane debris that crashed. I found this website on 4/14 so I don't remember the exact date. I've seen all kinds of fireworks ,planes ,meteors and this thing was like a school bus sized object engulfed in fire traveling fairly slow and was only about 1-2 miles away and could see it clearly and for about 4-5 seconds.

After over five years later I still remember like it was yesterday. With all the radio controlled aircraft's today there are probably a lot of ufo hoaxers but this was way too big to be one and I'm sure I wasn't hallucinating or exaggerating. Also I am very surprised that it wasn't on the news or reported elsewhere.

Five different sets of flashing lights that very from red/white/blue, four appear to be stationary, however one appear to be white traveling faster past the 4 appearing to be traveling south of the other 4...When view through binoculars the objects appear to change, to what appears to be a red/blue/white type of laser light zipping around.

Was first noticed about 03:30 am, and at the time of this writing, we can still view the light in the north.

Two white lights flying in formation, got bright, then dissapeared.

My sighting occurred this evening less than an hour ago at 8:15pm. I was standing on my front porch talking to my husband on the phone. As I was talking to him I casually looked up at the stars since it is perfectly clear and calm tonight. I was looking at what looked like a group of stars almost directly above me when I noticed two stars at the bottom moving. Now I know the eyes play tricks so I looked away and looked back lining them up with the top of a tree to make sure they were moving. Sure enough two balls of light were moving perfectly with each other.

They slowly traveled to the East, too slow for shooting stars and to fast to be an airplane that far up. After about 45 seconds the one on the right got extremely bright, about 5 xs brighter and almost looked like it had a haze or fog around it. The one on the left started to get brighter a few seconds later but never got as bright as the right one. As I was telling my husband about it and getting a little uneasy, they went back to their original brightness. They kept traveling to the East for a few more seconds then stopped. They stayed in the same spot for a few more seconds, and slowly disappeared. I’m assuming they were traveling away at this time because they faded away so gradually.

I’m no astronomer or anything fancy, just a 27 year old wife, mother, and manager at a large company. I have seen satellites and shooting stars and airplanes that look like a UFO but end up not being one. I’ve seen odd things in the past; I know what’s explainable and what is not. This defiantly was not explainable or usual by any means.

two lights shoot from East to West in Virginia

At approx. 7:30 pm on January 23, 2008 I was driving west on route 460 about 3 to 4 miles west of Windsor. I spotted what at first thought was 2 shooting stars. The lights bright white in color were equal distances apart which was very odd. Neither one went slower or faster than the other, but stayed at a constant speed parallel with each other. There was no spin or rotation to the object(s). The object(s) went from East to West at a high rate of speed. There did seem to be a smoke trail from each of the lights. As the lights flew off into the western horizon they both disappeared. I have tried rationalizing what I saw, but with no results other than it was very high up, and if it was one object with two lights then it must have been massive. Too big to be a jet due to its altitude and size that I observed. My father whom was with me did not see the object he was looking elsewhere.

Swarm of Amber spheres

Myself and a few friends were visiting another friend of ours in Windsor, CA. for new years eve, I believe its north of San Francisco and 30 minutes from Bodega Bay.

A little after midnight on New Years Eve, our whole party went outside to ring in the new year. When we looked up we noticed what looked like a whole swath of stars that were amber in color were travelling in a column, we watched them for about 13 to 14 minutes. I happened to have a pair of binoculars with me and managed to hand the binoculars to everyone in our party. From what I saw, when I had my binoculars were these objects were spherical in shape and were slightly pulsing in 1 second intervals. Some were swirling around one another. At the end of the 13 - 14 minute window I saw the objects gather in a swarm on the horizon and split off, one part of the swarm going right the others going left with only a couple going straight up and disappearing. A few minutes after the sighting I noticed a couple jets in the vincinity.

Our party had one amateur astronomer and one fireman. Our astronomer states they were not stars or airplanes. Please contact me if anyone else has reported anything of this sort in the area. Every person in the party is still stunned from this experience as am I, we need to know that we are not crazy.

Series of 17 unidentifiable lights cross the skies of Northern California

At midnight, Jan 1st of 2007, we stepped out on the deck for New Years and observed a bright Satellite moving Southeast from the Northwest. Magnitude was as great as Mars at it's closest.

Then 2 more appeared behind the roof into view, so we stepped out to see if there were more moving across the sky.

17 lights in total, all within 70 degrees of each other moving South-East from the North-West. All were the same brightness and color. A bright Orange to reddish.

As the first 3-4 moved through the 12 o'clock(meridian) they started to change course. A few slowed then turned about 90 degrees and out of the path, then a few faded and made a left 270. 2 actually stopped, as noted against a clear sky of stars and a bright moon. All in all, about 7 or 8 "danced" overhead, the rest continued on course.

At this point I recalled we had just bought a new video camera so I ran in, grabbed it and shot the last few minutes of the "satellites" continuing across the sky. At this point, pretty much all those that had not faded were continuing SE bound.

Since moving into the country from the city 5 years ago, watching satellites and meteors has become one of my families evening pastimes. We are quite adept at this pastime now and can identify the difference between Satellites, Space Station, Etc. and Aircraft. And I have spent the better part of my 36 years, watching aircraft, As well, I am employed as an ((deleted--aviation specialist.)). So something like this event really stood out.

There were no contrails visible as they would have been with the moon as a backlight. There were no stobe lights or red and green wings lights as associated with A/C. There was no sound associable with these "satellites". The time for the "Non Dancing" lights to traverse the sky was about 9 minutes, the same as a satellite or the Space Shuttle.

A quiet check of the net did show that the prevailing winds aloft were moving in the same direction.

Lighted Weather Balloons? ROV's? I truly hope someone else who might have noticed these lights will also report something.

Several yellow/red objects hovering in the sky, then they disappear.

My husband and I just saw the strangest thing in the New Year sky. We went outside of our Windsor, California home to ‘ring in the new year’ and saw dots in the sky. They looked like they could have been stars, but there were too many of them and the Milky Way does not look like that. Each of them were yellowish color and they were all identical. There were approximately 30-50 of them.

I told my husband to go in and get the video camera, but it could not record the dots. They just seemed to be hovering but then they would move into various formations.

Given there was some fireworks in the western skys, we thought about that, but there was nothing in the vicinity of the dots. Then we thought of the possibility of planes, but there were too many for that to be the case. We are astonished. What are they???

They slowly started to move from south east in various directions again, so we went from our back yard to the front yard and they were almost all gone accept for a few that were going into formation, four of them in a straight line. Then, nothing. It was like they just disappeared. No way to explain it.

So strange! Any thought as to what it was, or any other sightings??

Shortly after midnight, my husband and I saw an array of approximately 12-14 small lights. There were six to seven in a row forming two parrelel rows. They were moving across the sky, and then clustered together.

Once clustered, they all moved off into the sky where they couldn't be seen anymore.

We have never seen anything like it before!

My wife and I were sitting in our hot tub late Saturday night. The hot tub jets were turned off so there was very little noise around us at the time. I looked up at the stars and all of the sudden I saw a black, triangle shaped craft moving almost directly over our house. I clutched onto my wife's arm and when she looked up she knew she was seeing exactly the same craft that we had witnessed just 3 years ago from the exact same spot. As it flew over us, it appeared to veer slightly to the left and then continued flying in a north-eastern direction. It was black with round lights in each of the three corners and completely silent. This is the second time we've seen this aircraft flying over our house. The first time we saw it was during the Leonid meteor showers. It's almost like it wants to be seen.

We started out earlier in the day in the Orange County area and we saw many airplanes and stars throughout the drive up. When we got into the bay area, it was socked in and raining. The clouds didn't let up and I would estimate that the ceiling was down to about 500 feet when we got to Windsor, CA. We were looking for a motel to stop for the night when I noticed a dull reddish orange light off to the northwest. (I would estimate the size of the light to be the size of my fingernail held at arms length.) I asked my wife, "what the heck is that?" She said, "it's an airplane." Then I said, "that doesn't look like an airplane because it has no anti-collision 'strobe' type lights on it." I also said, "who would be crazy enough to be up flying in rural northern california, at 3 in the morning, when the visibility was down to about 5-10 miles and the ceiling was about 500 feet?" That is a true statement because this area is dark as a hammer and it would be almost impossible to fly using dead reckoning at night, especially in extreme IFR conditions. After coming to an almost complete stop on the highway, I decided to exit at the next offramp. I did and when I stopped to look at the light, I noticed another car on the freeway that had slowed way down, to about 15 mph. I wonder if they were seeing the same thing we were seeing. That car kept on going and we were sitting there on the offramp at a dead stop so I rolled down the window to see if I could hear any aircraft noise. We didn't hear anything. At this point my wife said, "you're right... that isn't an airplane. What is that?" At this point the object was moving really slowly, but in an erratic motion where it was travelling sideways, but also in an upwards motion, then it would instantly change to a downward motion. Definitely not how I have ever seen any airplane fly. After about 10-15 seconds of this erratic flying, it moved in a straight! sideway s motion, at a high rate of speed, covering the distance of what I would estimate was about 300 yards and disappeared into the rain clouds. At that point, the hair on the back of my neck was standing straight up. My wife and I spent the next 10 minutes or so driving down the side road that parallels the freeway with our heads hanging out the window looking for the object. We never saw it again. Just thinking about this incident as I am sitting here typing this in is giving me goosebumps. Whatever it was, it was really weird. Never seen anything else like it.

Let me try to explain what this thing looked like. The best way I could describe this light is this: You know when you see a jet on approach to an airport, but it is a long ways off, like 10-15 miles; you can see the landing lights on, and it looks like a reddish orange glow because of the smog and impurities in the air? That is exactly what this thing looked like. And that is what I thought it was right at first, but then it dawned on me... it couldn't be because of the low clouds and limited visibility. That was when I realized that it had to be only a mile or so away from me and I realized I was looking at something else. And it wasn't until I stopped the car that I could tell it wasn't flying straight and level and it was actually flying erratic. The fact that there were no strobe type anti-collision lights on it really made me think this was something other than an aircraft.

Silent, low flying, multi-light triangle shaped ufo.

We saw this craft at around 10 minutes after midnight on 9/11/03 while on a break while working the night shift. The craft appeared approximately 1/2 mile to the west. I estimate it to be between 1500- 2000 feet in the air. It appeared over a treeline. Once we saw it we thought it was a new version of the stealth fighter out of Whiteman Air Force Base, Knob Knoster, MO. If this was one, it was one bad ((object)). When it started coming to us, we realized it was something VERY different.....we are use to seeing these stealth fighters at all times of the day/night. We are use to the lighting, and sounds of these planes. This was different. First thing we noticed out of the ordinary was the lights. This one had a HUGE "headlight?" It looked just like a car headlightlight beam shing in a fog. As it got closer we saw the bottom of it. It had 1 huge dome light on the bottom. it had 3 much smaller lights that made an equilateral triangle. This thing was heading straight at us. That is when we got out of my truck. It flew by very close to us from the NE. By this time this thing was probably 500 feet high. That is when we both noticed how silent it was. Before that we were just entranced by the lighting of this thing. But this thing was SILENT. after it passed, we watched it fly to the south. Once it got about 1/4 mile away, all we could see was 2 flashing lights. At that time it looked like a typical stealth bomber. Later that night my co-worker was taking trash out and saw another one. He said it was silent as well, but with 1 headlight, and 3 bigger lights making up the triangle, but no dome light. We figured it might have been a new version of the stealth, but why would a stealth bomber have all those funky lights? My co-worker and I went to the day shift this week, and today I was telling a friend at work about this encounter, and he told me an interesting story. He said another guy told him about a girl witnessing the same craft, but she called the sheriff. He said there was nothing to worry about, but that they had over 100 calls about the same thing that night. Windsor is a very, very small town, and to have 100+ people report it is just mind boggling.

One object traveling towards a group of 3, then fell out of sky.

Maybe 2, possibly even 4 UFOs. It was about 10:20 PM and me and my girlfriend were out in the backroads of town driving towards home, when I saw 3 lights in the sky, all next to each other. They were amber in color, and appeared to be moving slowly. We then spotted another orange/red light was traveling across the sky towards it. This was traveling pretty fast, and approaching the group of 3. It got in very close proximity to the 3, and all the sudden fell straight out of the sky and turned bright white. It sent chills straight down my spine. I slammed on the gas and tried to get closer for a look at the 3, got one last glimpse of it in a break in some trees, and then did not see it again. This was not very high up, it was lower than most small airplanes fly to the ground.

Kept changing shape. Started as 2 after circuling a military jet. I have pictures of the jet as well as the 2 round then cigar shaped then almost like a diamond types then split aprt and then back together. i have about 122 digital pictures of this occuresnce. I contacted the Airforce described what i saw and then said no type of aircraft like that exists. I have no idea what to do with these pictures however the military jety after being circled rather quickly by them made a very sharp turn.This occired in the middle of the day.We are in a rather remote area in a woode hills near PA boarder.No sounds however there was a radio on and the AM band got staticky for a few minutes .Imnot ver computor literate(53) and I dont know h0w to send the pictures.Anyone near me who could help with this?

Glowing Balls of fire 3 Large and 16 small in the sky

On easter evening at about 9:45 P.M. While sitting in my hot tub I saw a bright orange glowing light coming towards from the eastern sky heading west.Soon to follow was Two more glowing Orange lights they seem to be scamming the area looking and searching which direction to go. The next thing that happened was that 16 smaller lights appeared in a cluster they also had a orange glow about them. They also stopped above us and then formed a line formattion like birds do. Then they formed a bird like pattern and stated to head south the Three larger lights then reunited together and followed the other sixteen smaller lights. When heading south the larger lights began to spew sparks like a welder would when welding then they continued south. I quickly called my sister in law which lives south of us and she also saw them. Can you tell me what I was seeing? It was not a ordinary sighting. They seem to have intellegnce of some sorts. Also when my sister in law was watching a plane had to manuver it self around them to miss them. Would had come from the Sonoma County Airport around the corner from us.

Black triangle with three lights over Windsor

My wife in I were sitting in our hot tub watching the Leonid meteor shower when all of the sudden we both noticed flying directly above us three orangish/yellowish lights moving in a northern direction. The lights were round and were arranged in each corner of what seemed to be a perfect triangle. The rest of the object was black. It was moving at a very fast rate of speed and completely silent. I'd also appeared to be flying at a very low altitude.

My wife and I were looking up and talking about the Orion constellation when we both spotted a strange, irredescent looking object moving across the sky to the south. It was shaped like a boomerang. It was an egg shaped figure that floated about twelve feet from the ground and it was a silver color with flashing yellow, red, blue and green lights around it. It was very dark that night and from what I saw there was only one. Later that night though there was a big flash that beamed throughout our house and awoke my parents. The next mornining our neighbors said the same thing had happened to them and awoke them.

April 16th, 2003 After the first few years of being on the receiving end of skeptical facial expressions as well as accusations of "making it up," or being told I did not see what I thought I saw- I decided to keep it to myself.

Now, after almost fifteen years, I will tell this story as I can assume that the only others who will be reading this are for the most part those who believe in this stuff. My story is hardly the fodder from which films are made of, I was not abducted, nor did I have any implants or anything of that sort.

But I will tell this anyways.

It feels good to do so... It was the summer of 1987. This was the year I graduated High School. I do not recall the exact date. This takes place in Missouri, about an hour and a half South East of Kansas City (+/-). Whiteman Air Force Base, now the home of the B-2 bomber, was at the time a missile base. It is about 30 to 45 minutes away from where this happened. To this day there are countless old missile silos scattered throughout this countryside, though they have been dismantled as far as I know.

A friend of mine, as well as one of my uncles decided to go to a place outside of our hometown of Windsor, known as "Windsor Crossing." Windsor Crossing is about fifteen minutes from Windsor, at the edge of Truman Lake, which in reality is the outer edge of the Ozarks. It is a much larger drink of water than what the word "lake" implies. At Windsor Crossing is a campground, as well as a dock to put boats out onto the lake, and a "beach." Our plan for the evening was to go to the beach and go for a late night swim. Given the humid summers that Missouri experiences, this seemed like a great idea at the time. My two companions rode along with me, and I parked my car away from the beach as it was forbidden (dare I say "Illegal") to go swimming there after dark-for our own safety of course.

After our swim, all three of us went up onto the beach and lay down on the sand. The night was cool as I remember it. The sky was clear and dark blue, punctured by the pinhole-sized stars that littered the night too numerous to count. It was a very beautiful evening.

As the three of us laid there on that beach talking, the conversation ultimately resolved itself to silence. Several moments passed. Then as always seems to be the case, when it is a beautiful night, the stars out, etc, somebody has to speak up about space, parallel universes, and things of that ilk. The guy that came along with my uncle and I was saddled with the nickname "C((name deleted))." The reason behind this is simply because of his haircut. I won’t bore you with the details. Anyway, ((nickname deleted)) was the one guilty of breaking the silence with "Wouldn’t it be cool if we saw a UFO?" This was immediately greeted with a reprimand by none other than myself. I sat up in the sand and forcefully declared that no such thing existed, and that it was downright stupid for him to even bring it up. It was a beautiful, clear summer night. That was the reality of the moment. It seemed ridiculous to contaminate such a nice midnight swim with silly speculations of another race from outer space.

C((nickname deleted)) snorted something under his breath that vaguely resembled an apology. After several minutes, we all toweled the sand off of ourselves, got dressed and made way to my Toyota Celica (1978 GT. Moon roof. Damn fine car. And I don’t like Japanese cars.) Windsor crossing is on Y highway between Windsor and a little speck of a town called "Tightwad. Tightwad is only two minutes up the road past Windsor Crossing. This is significant as my girlfriend all during high school lived there. This meant I spent a great deal of time on that highway, naturally. So I was very familiar with all the details of that road. Where all the houses where. Where all of the lights where.

And where lights should not be.

As we were moving down Y towards Windsor, we came to the only stop on that highway. A stop sign at a 4-way in the middle of nowhere. We passed it. As our conversation continued (to this day I have no recollection what it was about), I noticed way out in the distance what looked like an amber light over a field (there are lots of fields in Missouri.). It did not register with me as I was immersed in a conversation of so much importance that I cannot recollect what in the heck it was about. So I filed the light waaaaaay in the back of my mental Rolodex.

Our conversation continued.

As we drew closer to the light, at this point it was still about a mile or so away, it demanded my attention again. It had suddenly dawned on me that there was no house in that area, save for one farm on the other side of Y highway. It could not be a lamppost; I would have seen it from all of my excursions to my girlfriend’s house in Tightwad. Cows of course, have no need for a lamppost out in the middle of a field.

The light now had my attention.

I interrupted the conversation between my uncle T((name deleted)) and C((name deleted)) and drew their attention to the light.

As best I can remember, from that point on we were silent till we drew closer to the light. I pulled my car over to the right side of the road and all three of us got out to take a look at what was over the field.

This is what happened to the best of my recollection: An amber light hung suspended over the field not quite two stories high. To give you an idea of what the light looked like to me, imagine looking at a streetlight through a foggy windshield. It had streaks that came out from the main source, but not sharply, they were not long streaks, just stationary. The light made no sound. Behind it was a single row of trees. I will describe the setting to give you an idea of the distance as best as I can recall it. Y highway is a lone country road out in the middle of nowhere. It is mostly used by the few that live down that road, and the summer traffic going to the lake. At well past midnight, we were the only ones on this road. This small road has no streetlights. So it is dark, save for the house light in the distance, or the occasional traffic lights.

From where we were parked at the side of this two-way road, you could walk across it, cross a ditch and come to a fence. You could easily climb the four or five foot fence, take about thirty steps past it, and you would be beneath this thing. You could throw a rock and easily hit it.

The three of us stood there and said nothing. We just looked at this light. It made no sound. It moved not an inch. It just hung there. An amber light with soft streaks emanating from it.

This is the part that I struggle to understand, much less explain to others: I do not know how this happened, nor do I recall seeing it happen at all. One second I/we were looking at this light floating over a field, and the next thing I know is that the light is no longer there, but what rested in it’s place was what we all know as that familiar cigar shape. Its outline could easily be made out against the clear blue night sky, punctured with millions of stars.

This cigar shape seemed to me to be about the length of two or three full-sized cars. Around it was blocks of colors. Green, yellow and blue. These colors did not move. The cigar shape did not move.

At this point, I tried to gather information about what I was seeing.

It was near a row of tall trees, yet the leaves on the trees rustled only when a soft summer breeze passed. It made no sound. Not a hum that I could hear. Nothing. I could make out the blades of grass in the moonlight. They rustled not a bit.

I looked over at T((name deleted)), and he was silent. I looked over at my friend C((name deleted)), and he was silent too. My attention turned back to the cigar shape that hovered silently, effortlessly, over this field.

I have no idea of how long we stood there and looked at it. I was not scared, quite to the contrary, I felt very peaceful. If I felt anything, it was the urge to run across the road, jump the fence, and run up and try to touch it. But I did not. As the tree of us stood there, I recall us saying things to one another, yet I cannot remember what it was.

After several minutes, the cigar shape slowly rose up, over the treetops and lowered itself behind them, as if it was trying to hide from us! It was only one row of trees, so we could still easily make out the lights on its side, as well as the cigar shape. After what seemed like a short amount of time there, it again lifted up over the trees and went away from us. We jumped into my Celica (Damn fine car.), and sped down the highway following it. Ultimately, it stopped over a field. We parked the car on a curve that ran along side a hill that looked down on this field. At this point I was convinced that what we were seeing was indeed not a helicopter, or some kind of airplane. From beneath this (what I will now call a-) UFO shone a bright, concentrated white light. The light’s edges softened outward from its center. This light swept over the filed in patterns I did not recognize or find any logic to. It looked very random to me. After a few moments of this, at the blink of an eye, it was very high up in the sky and way out in the distance (and without even the slightest sound). Those lights around it now seemed to be rotating around it. Eventually, it was over the horizon. It would dip below the tree line, and then would pop back up again. It did this a couple of more times before it disappeared, never to be seen by us again.

The conversation back to Windsor was dominated naturally, by what the three of us had become witnesses to. I dropped off my Uncle and my friend, but did not go home. Instead, I found myself driving around my hometown of 3,000 people just trying to process what was going around in my head. I eventually came to the parking lot of a grocery I worked at during high school and came across one of my co-workers there. I pulled up to his car. His window was rolled down and I could see his face. It was an expressionless mask, his eyes were hollow, and his skin as white as a sheet of paper. The first thing out of my mouth was-"D((name deleted)), you won’t believe what I just saw!" D((name deleted)) interrupted me and said, "I know what you just saw. It was a UFO." His voice trembled, and there was very much a tone of concern to it. He had tried but failed to hide his fright.

While we were on that hill on Y highway watching this thing bounce above and below the horizon…as it turns out, it was over another small town that is called Calhoun. D((name deleted)) girlfriend lived there. According to him, he and his girlfriend were sitting on the porch of her house, which has an awning over it, when he said he felt what amounted to a low rumble. A strong low hum. This caught my interest, as I did not hear any noise whatsoever from the UFO when I saw it.

The two of them sat there and from over her house this thing gently sailed over. They watched this, every bit of it as it stopped over her front yard, right in front of them. Then it went up high, above the tree line, and then back down, and then back up. According to D((name deleted)), it did this a few times before it ultimately shot up into the air and disappeared. This seems to match what we had witnessed on that highway, watching this thing go above the horizon, within our view, and then dip below our view a few times before ultimately disappearing. The UFO was described to me by D((name deleted)) as being saucer shaped, and metallic silver. This was all I could get out of him. He was visibly shaken and went home. I rode around town for several more minutes and did not see him again.

I went home and looked at the clock and saw that it was about 3 am. I do not believe I lost any time as I can honestly believe that the incidents, including the time I spent driving aimlessly around town, realistically could have burned a couple of hours.

The next time I ran into D((name deleted)), he was able to chat about it briefly, but he made it obvious that he wanted to put the whole experience behind him. In a small farming community, you could be the laughingstock of the whole town if you went around proclaiming to have seen a UFO.

Well there you go. All 2,206 words of it.

I never believed in anything if I could not reach out and touch it. This rule especially applied to UFO’s. My companions and I were not drunk, nor where we on any kind of drugs. We were just three guys on our way home from a swim. That night, fifteen years ago, I saw something that I know with every fiber of my existence, answered my question of "Is there life out there?" Well I am now here to tell you that I believe that there is. And now that I have thought about it for years, and finally shared it with you. I am now saddled with an even bigger question: Why are they here?

Upside Down Black Metalic Pyramid with non-defracting lights

Coming home from work, I saw 3 non-defracting white light beams streaming over tree tops and creating distinct round lighted areas on the hillside. As I approached town, I noticed that these lights were coming from the grocery store parking lot area. It was a stationary object so even though it was about 2 miles to town it was still there when I arrived. I saw a dark triangle shape against the sky with the 3 lights coming from each side of the point witch was pointed towards the ground. I was curious, still thinking that this could be a hot air balloon or something else. I was the only car which turned into the parking lot. I thought this in itself was amazing since the road had alot of traffic that night. Was I the only one who saw this?. I pulled my car directly under the craft, which was only slightly above the parking lot light. It was a dark color maybe black, metalic with slight bumps arranged in possible adhesion or rivet type patterns. The shape was clearly up-side down pyramidal and about 50-60 feet from top corner to top corner. It was centered over 4 parking lot lights and I wondered if it was gathering energy from them also. It made no sound.(I turned off my car, and listened carefully between the waves of cars on the road). Another car pulled up, a grey Toyota Celica with 2 young men inside. they roled down their window and were looking at the craft with the biggest eyes I've ever seen. Their mouths were hanging open and I could see their tongues. I waved at them and the craft began to rotate on axis. The men burned rubber out of there and squealed tires again acelerating onto the road. I decided that my car was a safer vantage point at this time and hoped it would start. It did and I backed up about 50ft. The craft then headed towards the grocery store. It looked like it would run into the sign and roof. When the point of the craft got within 15-20 ft of the store, the craft lifted about 5 foot and cleared the store top. I should metion that it didn't make any sound, the lights had rotate! d from p ointing west to pointing south and it was only traviling at a speed of about 5MPH. Against the night sky I could see the flat top clearly. A few months later a co-worker was talking about the UFO that crossed the road in front of her. She said that she and others stopped their vehicles on highway 34 towards Greeley and just watched this up-side down pyamid thing cross the road. She said that it was still moving at about 5MPH. Her sighting lasted about 15-20minutes as she saw the lights before it crossed the road.

Chrome Cylinder hovers at vertical angle 5,000 or more up on a clear cloudless day

Chrome Cylinder hovers at vertical angle 3,000' (probably much higher) or more up on a clear cloudless day at about 73 degrees from grade and 2,000ft to the NW of Windsor Middle School rear plateau.

The object had to be over 100ft long, over 18 feet in diameter and had 4 extended perpendicular rods with spherical ends in the middle. The entire unit was chrome and hovering dead still for an hour or more at a 10-15 degree angle (shaped like the Hubble telescope) with the bottom leading edge pointing towards/ in front of/ my general area. There was no sound.

I alerted the school's principal and he explained that it must be a reflection and did not think it was a UFO.

I was 10 and have never forgotten about it. I have never seen another UFO since.

saw while parking with girl friend. rising full moonin back ground. 25 ft up. f 50 yrs away over field. hovering. completly silent. one red lite on top, two fighters chased off. it was wkend. the following mon. nbc or one of the major network reported on scheduled 3pm newsbreak- two figters left langly headed towards the bermuda triangle that night had disapeared. loss of time that night an dazed feeling-both girlfriend an self experience simptom of p.t.s.

Disk-shaped object with glowing red dome hovered a few feet from the ground, came close, then shot off.

I am a nurse, my husband is a doctor. Have not told my story to many people. After watching THE FORTH KIND at the theater, my husband wanted me to relate this story.

I was approx 13-14 yrs old. My brother was two years younger. We were outside of our little country church with several other kids waiting for choir practice to end.

Someone noticed an object hovering near us in the cow pasture very close to where we were standing. No sound. The object was disk-shaped with a glowing red dome on top, hovering a few feet from the ground. We were approx 50 ft (or so) away from the object. It slowly came closer. Everyone stopped. Could have heard a pin drop.

It then shot off to the right of us toward the trees and was gone in an instant. Again, no sound.

While with my family at Christmas a couple of years ago, I had my brother (now retired military) tell his version to my husband. It was the same. We are in our 40's and never talk about this. He never forgot either. I would love to ask the others, but they moved away years ago. Others have seen objects in the same area since then.

Mr. Davenport,

I was surprised to get a reply from you. My husband has been after me to tell someone about this since he has known me. It was such a long time ago that I felt it was not prudent now.

Windsor, North Carolina, is a small county town with a lot of farmland and open spaces. There have been multiple sightings. My older cousin saw a disc-shaped object nestled in a field surrounded by woods on her way home just around dusk one evening. (I believe it was not long after my sighting). It lifted up and over her car, hovered in an adjacent field then took off. This was years ago and told to me by my mother. This was when we lived a mile down a country dirt road, and she lived just past us with her husband.

The object that I witnessed was apparently seen by adults the following week at church. I was not there, I did not see it again. What I saw left a lasting impression on me. I am a true believer. I wish I could re-live the moment and remember everything. I have always said that I would love to be hypnotized and return to that moment and see it again as an adult. I would love to remember every detail of my experience.

I now live just outside Raleigh, NC, with my husband and children. I have never seen a UFO again, but always look to the sky's in hopes of seeing one. This experience is always with me, so many years later. Never far from my mind. Isn't that crazy?

I will ask my brother, but he is retired military and works for the government in Virginia and may not feel comfortable doing this. The others, I have lost contact with 20+ years ago and have no idea where they are now. Three of them were the pastor's kids, and they moved many times since then: ((three names of observers deleted)).

I hope this helps. I know that there are many people out there with their own stories. I spoke with one of my patients the other day about her experience (we were discussing the movie THE FOURTH KIND and she shared an interesting story regarding a sighting in New Jersey).

what was this? ufo or NO ? No doubt a ufo back then.,.

dusk , driving downdirt rd to my house after getting grocery's my husband and i witnessed over the tree tops a silver metallic disk, just sitting there, we got out the car,went to front of car,.and stood and watched it,. it was the size of two football fields, no sound no lights, at time,. we were talkingabout what it was, when we noticed lights at the top had come uon, there was red, blue, and yellow, lights they started to turn counterclockwise very slowly at first, as the lights got faster, the craft started to rise, and slow rising at first, went at an angle then disappared with no sound, it was gone, lasted 30 mintues.
