They appeared quickly with no noise traveling Se to Nw across the sky. It happened so quickly it’s hard to describe exactly. At first it appeared to fly as one object with four lights, before they went behind trees they shifted from diamond formation to a disorganized shape. They made no noise and I feel like they were flying at a height of non commercial flight. It was me my wife and a neighbor and his wife in our hot tub watching meteor shower.

2 Rows of 4-5 vertical white solid lights moving slowly together in the evening sky, just over the tree lines.

It was January 28th 2021 about 5:10 PM it was Twilight and I was heading down Godwin Boulevard in Suffolk Virginia and I noticed in the North Western sky there were about 4 to 5 vertical white solid lights and about 20 feet between this one there was another 4 to 5 vertical lights and they moved extremely slowly just above the tree line, keeping an even distance between the other and itself. As I was driving I looked around trying to see if someone else was seeing what I was seeing but I'm not sure if anyone did.

So I was watching these two vertical light rods is the best way to describe what I was seeing moving slowly together in the sky, just over the tree lines. I drove through two to three lights watching this happen before pulling off into the Bojangles parking lot and coming around the building to see if I can capture some video. It literally disappeared within that two second time frame. I cannot find any natural explanation for it. It was strange but what made this stranger was A month later (almost to the day) I saw something in the same area but quite different from my first sighting.

I made sure to document what I saw. After doing some research I ended up finding this site and I wanted to share what I witnessed hoping maybe someone else has seen anything similar.

Reporting An Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) Suffolk, Virginia 23435 July 22, 2020 To Whom It May Concern: This morning on a very clear night sky it was around 4:15am as I took my dogs outside just like I have done every morning for many years and was gazing in to the night sky and saw the North star.

Then I turned and begin looking around in the night sky and turned my direction to the western sky and noticed round, white blinking object that caught my eye.

The more I watched this one object, it was acting so erratic moving (in all directions).

My heart began to pump fast and I felt I was seeing an actual UFO.

I went inside my home and retrieved my phone and begin taking (2) videos of the sighting.

I am 62 years old and have gazed many times over the years in the night sky and have seen shooting stars and in a solar eclipse in 1972, but nothing like what I saw today.

I would hope that someone else may have witness the same sighting today and report.

On June 27, 2021 my 5 year old daughter and I saw three of objects fly directly over head in downtown Suffolk. One stopped directly above us and I got a very good look at it. Its outside moved like a bubble would if it was too big. They were somewhat clear. Almost opaque and they had a cylindrical light in the middle of them. All three were illuminated red like a cars break lights from the inside of them. Id say their size was like a large bean bag chair or that they could fit inside a car if all the seats were removed.

We thought they were drones as they approached but it became clear, even for my newly 5 year old daughter that they won't. The light inside of one of them quickly dimmed out and it shot up in the air while still keeping pace with the other two. I'd estimate they were 300 ft. and closing at that time. The sheer odd movement and the fact that they were coming right for us triggered my daughter to become hysterical. I picked her up and we both looked up just as one of the two stopped directly above us. I never lost track of the one that dimmed out and went up. We live in downtown Suffolk, VA and everything was well lit by the street lights and it didn't travel so far up to not be seen. Id say, that as my daughter started crying, it was as if they noticed us all of a sudden. I was like they immediately reacted to us reacting to them. The one that went high came back down a lot faster then it went up, which was crazy fast to begin with. And as it made it to the one that stopped ! above us it never did. only slowing a bit then they both flew and caught up with the third one that only slowed down during the whole encounter.

The wind was fairly strong that day and constant for the most part. these things were moving at 90 degrees or more to the wind. My daughter was restless from being inside all day and due to the lock down we didn't go out all that much. I figured we could take a walk to go to our mail box on the other side of the building to burn some energy. It fits my luck in life that I'd end up leaving my cell phone in the apartment. I'm fairly sure we didn't lose time or anything like that. It just seemed like they were curious. And IDK? Maybe there's a alien photograph on another planet of me and my daughter looking up that night. Always makes me think.

Also. I think someone else saw it. after they flew off I continued walking around the corner of our building and saw a lady that was stopped in the intersection returning to her car from the direction they went, looking at her phone like she took a picture as she got in. I remember her passing us as it was stopped overhead and we were right close to the street. They too were probably 70 to 100 feet up, so I figure that whoever that was also had to see everything.

Five cylinder shaped objects flying in the same path about 10 minutes apart...no wings or chem trails!

My neighbor, wife and I saw several flying objects from southeast to northwest around 1800... I guess about 10k feet. It was one of five objects about 10 minutes apart. Looking through my rifle scope, I could not observe any wings or chem trails. This picture (I'll send to address below) does not give any justice of what we think it is… I have seen drones while in Iraq and did not long anything like one! They were traveling about 10 minutes apart in the same direction and height. No doubt that they were cylinder shaped and shinny. Could not see any windows or ports holes. My hair on my next was surely rising on my neck!!

It was what appeared to be a US military Jet flying along side a supremely bright light, color was unlike anything I have seen. After flying through a cloud the military aircraft kept flying and the second craft (light) was simply gone, as if it vanished. The jet was at full thrust as its engine was glowing and based upon a the size of the jet they were at a decent altitude moving at speeds I can not describe. Crossing nearly the full sky in a matter of seconds. I was driving so no photos or videos were taken.

Two hovering ufos in my neighborhood skyline.

The shapes are just bovering in the sky! They are far to bright to be planes or helocopters; and even so, both would be moveing (a helicopter-- acumpanyed by ysound at least-- for that is common of our helocoptors, we always hear them). However, I did see a plane flying in the sky not too far from it, but I don't think it noticed, but just seeing them side by side I knew they were not anywhere near the same aircraft. They have flickering lights. One is hovering in the sky in my front yard, the other in the back yards skyline doing the same.

This happened at 5:27 pm on black Friday, right before the sun was gone, i was on the phone when it happened.

Five bright colored orbs shot out from behind the top of the trees at a diagonal angle all in unison, they slowed down dramatically after they shot out from behind the treeline, and very quickly the two orbs on the leftmost side came together into one orb at the same time that the two orbs to the right of them did and the orb all the way to the right moved closer to the center and just faded out, they didn't go in any direction they just dissapeared where they were.

So to simplify that last part the 5 orbs turned into 3 orbs and disappeared. It freaked me out cause I thought it was a commercial plane because of how big and close the lights seemed, but then within the span of probably 3 seconds or less, five bright orbs turned to 3 and blinked into nothingness like they were never there.

Objects over Suffolk, VA, January 4, 2016.

I was driving home down 58 and saw one white light flying across the sky and stop next to another one. They both stood still as I turn to look at another two objects adjacent to them. I could not take a pic while driving in the interstate therefore when I stopped to the stoplight as I got off the exit towards Obici hospital I tired to take a photo of the object but the light changed before I could do so.

When I arrived home I was backing into the garage I saw three bright lights in a triangle formation the size of a football field In the sky the light were so far apart I could not take the pic and it was very hard to see them clearly. I put my phone I. The seat and looked up in the sky and omg there were 3 objects flying around under the formation of the white light formation with pulsing lights one was blue, one green and the other was red. Over to the side of this activity there were two white lights in the position of two headlights in a car.

I panicked and backed into my garage, called my best friend because I had to tell someone what I was seeing. I got my baby out of the car and was very fearful to go no out side. While I was talking I took my trash canister and put out for trash pickup in the morning. As I looked back up in the sky while tiling to my friend The triangle formation had moved slightly north the different colored objects has disappeared and the two white light positioned like car lights were zig zagging like figure 8's) in the sky.

There was no sound!

This was a very disturbing scene.

I watch the history channel and seen many documentaries about ufos and I never thought that I would ever witnessed what I have tonight!

We witnessed an object hovering approx 500 to 600 feet high from a distance of approx. 1/4 mile away with orange/red aluminating lights 2 each and a smaller center white light pointed twards the earth as though it was scanning the area. I noticed the beam if light hitting the ground as it was approaching. It was moving rather slow, I took close to see if it had wings or a tail like a plane would,also listined at noise the engine was making, no lights on the bottum of the object. The object did not turn an any direction, it moved one speed and not enough noise from the engine to disturb homes and nieghborhoods. I work for the DOD and I know what we both saw.

I saw a beam of light come out of a star, It beamed at another star which then Went into the other star, almost like the first Star sucked it up with light and then it flew off Very very quickly. Like a baby ship going into A mother ship. It happened in a matter of seconds.

About a dozen red lights came from the western horizon in various formations, some two or three at a time. No sound came from them.

As they approached the middle of the horizon they began to fade, as if disappearing into clouds, though no clouds were present and a passenger jet coming across from the opposite direction was not obstructed by anything in the sky.

The Surry report could have many explanations. I fly gliders in Surry and surrounding counties and am familiar with aircraft in the area. The Coast Guard (not Ft Eustis - Army) provide security with helicopters for the nuclear plant. Just after 9/11 they would land at night, with permission, at our glider field that is only a few miles from the plant. They could respond within moments of any threat to the plant yet not be detected before hand. One of our glider club members is one of their pilots. There is also a blimp factory on the Virginia / North Carolina border that often fly blimps in the area. (The Blackwater private mercenary intelligence company along with many other military black ops are in this region too) The blimps prefer calmer days and usually stay further south, but it isn't a requirement and could account for the hovering effect by flying into the wind to get back to their field upwind. They normally don't fly that close to the eastern part of the area, along the James River, because it is a longer flight back. A strong s/w wind could blow them over there and their small engines would work hard to get them back to N. Carolina. If they were there they may have been sightseeing over the James River. Jamestown, Colonial Williamsburg, and the small Williamsburg airport are on the east side of James River and the airport could be used for an emergency landing if the blimp were in trouble.

On the Jamestown, James City County side of the river where the witness was standing also is home to a very highly restricted military inteligence community / base, where they are known to test experimental spy craft. Local pilots have witnessed small unmanned recon aircraft being flown over the base. Pilot in the air away from the restricted airspace but close enough to see it. I strongly suspect the witness saw one of the above explanations. It could have been a very planned flight by the plant security, but I suspect it was a blimp, helicopter, possibly an off course military item, or maybe even a small airplane waiting to come in at the Williamsburg field. There are very strict rules against flying near the nuclear plants. Pilots are not supposed to "loiter" over them in an airplane. Whatever that means. If a blimp were blown over the plant by the wind it would be an embarrassment to the plant to admit nothing was done. There is also some ultra light activity in the area. It may have been unidentifiable to a distant viewer but to someone near it may have not been an unusual object to be seen in those skies.

Response To So-Called Explanations Of Previous Sighting

I am responding to Mr. ((name deleted)) "explanation" of what I saw on the 19th of May 2008.

His statement that there is a blimp factory on the NC/VA border is patently false. There is a company with an office in Durham, NC, called Flairships that leases out aerial advertising blimps to various companies, but they did not have any blimps in the air over SE Virginia on the day in question. I contacted other companies that utilize airships (including Goodyear and MetLife), and none of them had a blimp within 200 miles of the James River on that day. Having seen advertising blimps on various occasions over the years, I can assure you that this was not a blimp. I had a close-up view of it under ideal conditions. What I saw had no writing of any kind on its sides. Nor did it have a crew cabin on its belly, a tail assembly, or motors or any other protuberances from its surface. The craft I saw was perfectly smooth and silent. It was also in the range of 300-400 feet long. Even the largest advertising blimps in use today are only about 200 feet long. And they, like the Goodyear blimp, have the company logo prominently displayed on their hull. Otherwise, what’s the use of having an advertising blimp? The idea that a blimp might have been blown from north to south by a southwest wind is laughable. If anything, it would have been blown towards Williamsburg, not away from it. As I said before, the craft I saw moved strongly INTO the wind and was not at its mercy. And, with all of the empty real estate it could possibly encounter along the river, it chose to stop just opposite a nuclear power station? That, in itself, is telling.

I called the Jamestown airport (which is less than a mile from my house) two hours after my sighting, and the fellow in charge assured me that there was nothing even remotely like a blimp in the air that day. Unfortunately, the local airport does not use radar, so he couldn’t tell me just what may have been flying over the river at noon that day.

The “very highly restricted military intelligence community/base” he refers to must be Camp Peary, aka “The Swamp.” This is the well-known CIA training base on the York River. It lies on the other side of Williamsburg about 5 miles from where I made my sighting. Having lived here for the past 15 years, I too have heard tales of remotely piloted vehicles like the Predator drone flying over the base and the nearby York River. But they are never seen over the historic areas or the James River. I know what a Predator looks like, and with its sleek body, long wings and bulbous nose, it was the complete opposite of what I saw. I suspect you could pack twenty Predators inside of what I saw.

Having seen this alien craft up close (at first from less than half a mile away) and then at a distance of about three miles, I am absolutely certain that it was not a helicopter, “military item” (whatever that means), or small airplane. I spent 6 years in the Navy and believe my eyesight is still good enough to distinguish helicopters, Ospreys, and fixed winged aircraft from the absolutely unique craft I witnessed. And the idea that I’d mistake an ultralight for a 300 feet long craft leaves me speechless. I have seen ultralights fly over directly my house while out doing yard work, and I’d know their shape anywhere. Besides, they make as much noise as a flying lawnmower. What I saw was silent.

In summation, I’d like to add that I’ve attempted to get in contact with Mr. Ebersole, as he so obligingly left his phone number, bur he has so far refused to return my calls. All I know of him is that he lives in Virginia Beach, about 60 miles from the sighting area, which, by the way, is home to Oceana NAS. Just up the peninsula a few miles is Langley AFB, a first response base which is tasked to defend US airspace in the event of hostile activity (such as 9/11). This part of Virginia is home to at least a half dozen very sensitive military bases.

I am speculating here, but I suspect that the idea that an alien craft could literally “stroll” past these bases, at midday, right over the heads of millions of people, and not be detected, much less confronted, and then loiter next to a nuclear power station, is something that no one in the armed forces or the intelligence community is willing to admit to. There also appears to be a coordinated effort to discredit valid sightings.

Flying near commercial (etc.) Airlines flight pattern in a hap hazard manner. (No Formation) moving in a SW direction. they were out of sight in about 6 5 to 6 seconds.

Large, orangey colored sphere rose slowly from behind trees in the distance and traveled silently across the sky.

This happened when i was a kid-(im almost 35 now.) I know i was around 13 or 14, and my little brother and his friend,who was spending the nite, (both around 10 at that time)-were outside after dark, probably around 8ish or so one nite during the summer.

We lived in rural Suffolk, and on a long dirt road. Our house was surrounded by some open fields, and after those were lots of woods. So, we were out there goofing off, and one of us notices this bright, orangey colored ball of light rising off in the distance. I cant say for certain, but im certain this light was at least several miles away from us. But this 'ball' still looked huge. It just rose slowly, straight upwards--not sideways, not at an angle, but straight up in the sky. This color was orangy, but could be described as an orangy-yellowish color too. It was very bright, and VERY noticeable. It was like watching the sun rise, except you could look at it, or like how a basketball might look big in the sky if you could float it at a distance in the air of around 2 or 3 storys high--That's how large it looked, even though it was obviously at a distance of several miles away from us.

I do not recall if it pulsated or anything like that--im pretty certain that it did not, but i know that the color never changed, nor did the shape change at all. The boys ran inside to get my folks. My mom came out figuring it was probably an airplane or something. However, she was just as puzzled, excited, and scared of this as we were. She had no clue what it could be.

We realized that the object was not rising any longer. It was moving horizontally now, and towards us somewhat. It was moving at a VERY slow, non-hurried speed. When we realized it was moving towards us, my mom sent my brother in to get our dad. The object was travelling more sideways than towards us. It got closer, but not much. We just stood there, watching it as it slooooowly made it way across the nite sky in front of us. We could hear nothing at all!

After a minute or so of trying to convince our dad no one was pullin his leg, he came out like mom did at first--expecting to see an airplane or helicopter. Instead, he caught a quick site of it as it finally disappeared over the tops of trees in the distance and we could no longer see it. He TOO was mystifyied as to what it was.

I have never to this day seen anything that even remotely resembles it.

Drove up to downed ship.

I was driving down an unlined country road with a friend. I started to experience static on my radio and slowed as I attempted to adjust it. My car cut off in the middle of the street and I was unable to get it started again. I noticed outside the drivers window a circle of light on the ground on the ground in a field next to the road. I said to my passenger, "I don't remember there being a water tower here?" and when I looked again I noticed that this watertower had no legs. The next thing I noticed was that there was no sounds. This was especially odd as we were next to a small lake and dam where the water could be heard almost all the time. There was no cricket or frog noices. It was the loudest quite I had ever heard. My friend became hysterically screaming and pounding on the dashboard of my car saying "Let's get out of here!" Then I was compelled to get out of the car. I remember thinking to myself that this was incredible and I wanted to remember it. There was an old fence around the field that had some vine type growth on it and although I don't recall crossing it, I remember standing very near to the circle of light on the ground and noticing that the hairs on my arms were standing up and I was not cold. I also noticed that there was no filteration of light from its source to the ground. I could look across the circle of light into the woods at the edge of the field and it would appear as if no light was around. There was no spreading of the light. I wanted to remember this. I looked up into the light source and saw what appeared to be a circler light the size of the stars in the sky. However, it was only about 50 feet off the ground and the other stars seem to only be visible in a circle around the object, which was black as the sky, approximatley 50 feet from the center. The light source had a 50 feet diameter length of blackness the same color as the sky around it and then you could see the other stars in the sky, so the craft was vertually invisible. I looked over at my! friend, who was perfectly still in a pose that looked as if she stopped in mid stride of hitting the dashboard of the car. I looked back and noticed grooves on the underside of the craft along with what appeared to be a flag and symbols and then the crafts light went out or it shot straight up until it looked exactly like its surrounding stars, no blackness around it any longer that was unusal compared to its neighboring stars anyway. Then the star did a criss cross toward the north until I could no longer see it. I was very excited about it and wanted to discuss it when we got home. However, my passenger was unable to stay awake and two hours had passed that only seemed like a few minutes.
