Speed of ufo and direction out of the ordinary

I was stopped at a stoplight when the UFO came from the north heading south at a consistently fast speed, but still slow enough to be able to see great detail of the craft, I estimate about eight seconds of staring at it as soon as i started driving forward after the light turned green the UFO then sped up at a faster speed heading east. This craft did look like a diamond shape with a flat circular on the top with a pointed triangle down meanwhile, still seeing three different verticals faces of the tangle from my view, In the center of the craft it had a thick layer running horizontal that held approximately 3-4 lights (from my view) also, these lights were not rotating like the cartoons show they were just flashing, I don’t recall the colors I believe it had red, green, and white. At the bottom of the craft where all the vertical lines meet to make the corner it seems to have had had a dimmed but bright light. The light wasn’t too shiny where it can obstruct your view but you can definitely tell there is some type of light with very thin beams as if there was multiple small recess lights attached to it and shinning. Also, this craft did not rotate at any point nor when it sped up.

This UFO was not too big. It looked like possibly the size of a vehicle and the height it was flying was probably 150 feet not very high at all.

I observed a blurry orb of light approaching from the north western horizon at sunset.

As the orb approached near overhead my position it went from blurry to a clear dot and back to blurry. When blurry it was much larger than when clear, it looked almost as if the blurriness were a forcefield. It continued to go from blurry to clear twice more before it showered down a Smokey haze that looked similar to a sonic boom. It then went clear again and continued on towards the south-east horizon. I called a friend when I first noticed it, he observed the same phenomenon that I did from 3 miles north east of my position. It was moving very fast, maybe 4 minutes from horizon to horizon. There were other planes in the sky relatively close to the path it took but at higher altitude, none of the other planes or objects in the sky were blurry.

I watched it come over our house at about 9:24pm. It shot some kid of substance 350 degrees around itself. it was lower than aircraft in the sky. It was so close that I could see it's definition. There seems to be an aura around the object. Possibly like atmosphere condition in the evening. It was a ball of light inside another ball that seemed to be like a fog. Then it stopped shot out something.from the front of the craft.It kept going, never gaining in altitude. then a few miles down from us it split into two pieces and continued together at the same speen. Definitly not a Starlink satellite launch.

Near Midland Texas, looking north, there is a light in the sky that is in the atmosphere but is not moving and I have noticed it there for about 3 hours. The object is brighter than the clouds with no blinking lights and not round. After I was watching it for about 3 hours it started getting smaller and staying in the same place as if it was moving away and then finally it disappeared. Thats it.

I have been witnessing since 2014. Mostly orbs, "stars", sparklers, weird lights in general. Only once have I seen a solid craft.

I felt compelled to report because I saw something almost exactly like the recent events at Bowling Green and Round Rock. I saw a line of what I might have dismissed as satellites, but they were in the wrong place. I stopped counting at some point. They all appeared out if thin air at a certain point Southwest of Venus. One after the other they followed the same trajectory and disappeared into nothing after maybe a length of 10-15 degrees(? I can't think of a more objective way to describe the distance).

They weirdest part is that they all flashed at the midway point in their journey. It built up then diminished, not instant like a camera. All at the same spot, just after passing beneath Venus. Only one of the objects fucked up. And there was a brief pause at some point. I easily saw over 40 crafts in the span of ten minutes. I've seen a lot of wild stuff, but nothing like this before.

2 unknown aircraft escape after late night meteor impact sightings.

On the night of April 10, 2014, between 2 & 4 am I exited my house by the back door and saw a flash of bright light in the sky. At first I thought it was a large meteor that had entered the atmosphere.

I ran back into the house to call my roommate to see the large entail it had left in the sky. When we went back into the back yard less than 30 seconds later, there were two bright red flashing objects flying from the point at which we could see the assumed meteor had hit. One went to the right of us and behind a tree and the other flew to the left. They both left white streaks in the sky originating from the exact place where the meteor trail hit the sky line.

We watched the object on the left as it flew across the sky and at first thought it must be a plane but there are no airports in that direction and it was moving extremely fast. There was a solitary red blinking light and it left a perfectly straight white line in the sky. When we stood on the bench in the back yard to get a better view of the lines in the sky we realized that the large object that had come down came from a point in the western sky. The two red blinking objects left trails from exactly where the meteor would have hit and shot out of the impact site directly back to the exact same point in the sky that the larger object had come from.

We continued to look to the sky for the next 30 minutes without seeing anything further than the trails. We tried to take pictures of the phenomenon but the ambient light was too bright to register anything on our phone cameras. The trail from the large object continued to enlarge for another 30-40 minutes before dispersing. Upon writing this, I can still see faint white lines in the sky from the two objects that flew out of the area we thought the meteor hit.

On Saturday night, at around 8:30 p.m CST on Dec. 8, 2012, I saw what appeared to be a shooting star or a meteor. I witnessed the event from the back porch of my residence located in north east Odessa, Texas.

The large circular mass was moving diagonally in an easterly direction followed by a long tail. The object, which was orange or amber in color was moving swiftly upward and then as it began to descend an explosion occurred that lighted up the sky for one or two seconds. Then the object descended quickly to the east. The entire incident lasted about 10 to 15 seconds.

I would estimate the object as being fairly large, perhaps about one tenth to one fifteenth the size of a full moon.

I was stargazing and at about 8pm with my niece and nephew and we saw a dark rectangular object, with no lights on it with something hanging off the end of it, fly slowly over my house. I could not hear any noises coming from the object. It was visible for about 15 seconds and then it disappeared which to me seemed like it just evaporated because one second it was there moving across the sky then I blinked my eyes and it was gone. My niece got scared and ran inside the house.

Additional info on round glowing white gliding object reported 11/06/2006

My son, a student reported seeing this roung glowing white object that flew over his head last night at the time I posted here on this one. I just wanted to add my comments. I am his mother and I can vouvh for how scared he was when he ran in to tell me about what he had seen. I too have seen an object just as he decribed in April 1991 while sitting here on my front porch, it started up from the horizon and looked at first like a falling star but was falling up, came acroos the sky, directly overhead to the opposite horison in approx 15 seconds. When it was overhead it was about the size of a full moon, circular in shapr with a hint of being oglong, and was glowing all white, there were no lights or markings other than entire thing was a solid white glowing ball of light and was gliding fast across the sky. I will never forget it and what my son witnessed last night sounds EXACTLY the same as what I saw except when he saw it , it was about 100 ft off the ground and ion his words "bigger than our house" Our house is 24 ft wide and 28 ft long. I just wanted to add this since I read how alot of "students" were posting fictional reports. He is a student but would NEVER do such a thing and I was the one reporting it as he told me what happened. We were always believers but now we KNOW there is intelligent highly advanced life out there. No one will ever be able to tell us any different. I have told a couple family members and friends about both my experience and his and they laugh and one even said yeah and I saw Elvis last week too. Makes me so mad that people react in that way. I am not crazy, neither is my son, I know what I saw, and while I didnt see what he saw, I did see his face when he ran into the house too tell me and I can tell you this, he was telling me the truth. Its such an exciting and scary thing. Thank you for your time.

While listening to my police scanner I heard the following dispatched - (address was given first, to which I unfortunately was not listening closely to) and then the dispatcher said it was reference a large light in the sky, changing shape and changing color. The officer who took the call jokingly asked if there was a code for "the twilight zone". Although I went outside (it was about 11:15 pm, Thursday, September 28th) I was not able to see the light. Heard nothing more about it on the scanner. The night, however, was beautiful, the clouds were white and the sky which was visible was beautiful.

In this area we experience on the highline wires a spider web looking substance (much too heavy for it to be spider web). This substance hangs from the wires until the sun comes up and burns it off. Any connection to UFOs?

White 767 whith a thin cigar shape object trailing in the sky.

I came out in my backyard in the day and saw a plain white plane (Probaly a Boeing 767.) Behind it was a thin cigar shaped white object whith a trail of smoke behnd it. Only a quiet humming noise could be heard. The plane and the object flew by slowly but when it was over my head, I went to get binoculars. When I came back after about 20 seconds, the objects were gone.

Plane- no passenger windows or markings, white plane, like a passenger aircraft.

Cigar object- it was very thin with white smoke trailing behind. THE OBJECT WAS NOT A BLIMP.

Driving down busy street at night, quarter of mile or so, thought we saw several helicopters in sky. Drove right up to it and under it. Got out of van and discussed what we were seeing. Huge diamond shape with brightest strobing white lights I had ever seen, very low to ground, hovering over neighborhood, no sound. Clearly saw underneath writing or something all under. Airplane came and ufo streaked off . Estimated to be 150ftx150ft. , this may be vast underestimation. No reports. No radar. It was huge. We had plenty of time to examine it.

I am a believer and have had one other encounter of disconnected balls of lights examining the car I was in with 3 other people. My mother on the other hand is a devout disbeliever. My sanity is intact because she was with me. The object appeared to be charcoal gray, square or diamond shaped with blinding white strobe lights at the points. No other colors were observed. There was a distinct writing or something underneath in circles that covered the bottom. When we first saw it it was traveling east to west seemingly down a busy street. It got off the street and turned north and just stopped as if to let us look at it. It just hovered over a populated neighborhood not doing anything. It seemed to be about 50 ft. above the houses, very low. It was huge. We discussed wondering how such a thing could fly. From the direction of the airport (east) we saw a very fast flying airplane coming our way. The thing took off at a high rate of speed north and we gave chase along with the airplane. We kept it in sight for another 6 miles and then lost it. I called the airport to ask if anything had been reported and they said no. I have searched everywhere and cannot find a picture of this thing and wonder if anyone else has seen this particular one. It took so long to report because I didn't know where and got my computer for Christmas.

We saw a huge diamond shaped object hovering over us.

It was a Monday evening in October of 1996, I'm unsure of the exact date. My mother(a complete non-believer) and I were traveling east on a major street in town when we saw just ahead, a little beyond the next intersection what looked like several helicopters flying very low, coming toward us. We discussed the flying machines and decided the white lights which were strobing were much too bright for helicopters. Just then, two blocks past the intersection, we were right under it. I turned on the side street and we got out of the car. The diamond or square shaped as we decided object was just hovering in the sky with no noise. With every observation I made I asked mother if she agreed and she did. This thing was huge approximately 600 feet in all directions. We were underneath and could see the apparent color charcoal. We estimated it was no more than 100 feet above the ground and the lights were at the corners. We could also see individual squares marked off on the underneath side with carvings or writings of some kind we could not identify. Some time later I saw a celtic cross and thought the artwork was the same or very similar. We just stood under it discussing it, mesmerized. Mainly we talked about its size. A few minutes into it we saw and heard a jet coming down the same main street toward us. At almost the same time we spotted the jet, the big craft took off in a northwesterly direction being chased by the jet. I don't know why but we still stood there watching until they were almost out of sight unable to move. Finally we jumped in the car and gave chase but never saw either again.

Driving at night on loop saw circular blinking lights.

One evening aprox.ten years ago, my wife and I were traveling nort on the west loop 338 in Odessa,Texas. As we topped the overpass I told my wife "look you can see the carnival from here." What I was refering to was a circular blinking ligts red, green,blue. It looked like the "tilt-a-whirl". We were a mile or so from where it was. It turned from almost vertical to horizonital. Then it rose straight up several hundred feet in the air and took off eastly and went out of sight over the horizon in a flash. In West Texas the horizon is miles and miles. I asked my wife if she had seen it and she said yes. About half an hour later we were home and noticed two helicopters heading in the direction of the craft. I watched the news and nothing was said or mentioned. Did not know where to report it or who to.

In the summer of 1975 or 76 I had just gotten off work around 2:00 am. Went home and got into bed with my wife. I was lying there listening to the radio when the disc jocky made a comment about a phone call of someone reporting a ufo around one of the parks that we lived close to. This stured my interest so I got out of bed and went into the front yard which faced the park in reference. At first look i only saw a light that appeared to be a bright star but of a bluewhite color. After several minutes of watching this one light which was constant, I noticed that it was moving in my direction, slowly. I would est. at this point it was about 300 to 500 ft. off the gound. Distance from the object to myself as a bullet would travel, I would say 1000 yards. It was northwest of my positon moving very slowly to the east. When it reached about 500 yards away it stoped, alt. was still the same. At this point I could make out a "disc" shape. Being in awh, I ran inside to wake my wife. At first she thought i had been drinking, but i was able to convince her to come and look. When we returned to the front yard I noticd that the object had begun to move in a southerly direction at a low rate of speed, estimated to be 5-10 mph. It continued to travel to the south until it's position was about 200 yards south of my front door which faced due west. It stopped again for several minutes then began to move north at the same rate of speed, It traveled about 400 yards to the north and stopped again. It made the same trip again but stoping due west of my front yard, "about half way of the trip it just made". This put it directly it front of me. My wife was shouting to get back in the house because the shape of the object was deffinetly clear at this point "disc". It had one light on it which was on the bottom midship. It stayed at this position for quiet sometime. I had gone inside to get my deer rifle to use the scope for better vision, didnt work to good so i got my binoculars, this gave me much better vision of the ! object.

I would say it was approx. 25'-30' in dia. disc shaped and appeared to have a port hole or window on the upper side of the object. What I didnt notice that it now was about 200 ft. of the ground moving straight toward me, its speed had slowed to only several mph. Its skin appeared to be metalic with a very low luster, it appeared to absorbe light rather than reflect it. There was absolutely no noise, no visual signs of proplusion,prop,engines, exhaust etc. No rotor blades, no vertical or horizonal stabelizers. To put it bluntly it was a flying saucer perfectly still 200 ft. over my house at 3:00am in the morning. At this point my wife totally lost it running back into the house. I was able to get her back out in the front yard to help me with the id so we wouldnt forget anything. After 10 min or so it began to move to the east again straight over my house, when it passed over us looking straight up at the object we felt a little sick to our stomachs and we felt like we were in a vaccuum. As it passed over our house we ran through the house into the back yard to continue watching. It continued for about 400 yards at this slow rate of speed when all of a sudden its speed went from a few mph to an unadentified speed which I can only relate to that of a meteror, tail and all. It traveled straight for a sec then started in an upward motion at about 45 deg. heading straight up then disappearing into the clouds. No noise, no light other than the one i have explained did we observe. The next day or two someone called the local newspaper and reported seeing the object at the park close to the ground.

The Odessa Event

100 ft diameter disk shape, dome top. The color was stainless steel. It made no sound.

I sent a report about the ufo in Odessa yesterday Sept. 12. You sent an email back saying you want detailed information. I said I was a slow typer, so my little sister said she would type the complete event.

I had worked real hard that day for the state highway dept. and I was tired, so I took a nap when I got home. This was a clear summer day, and all the events occurred in the daylight. My grandmother lived in the southwest part of the city of Odessa. As I was taking a nap, she called my wife. She said, have Stanley go out and look, because there is a ufo heading your way. I lived west of town out in the country. There weren't many houses out there at that time. When I awoke, I sat and thought about it a minute, and thought my grandmother is very serious. She doesn't tease. I decided to get up and go outside and look for the ufo. First I looked toward town and saw nothing, which would have been back toward the east. Then I turned and looked toward the north and south and saw nothing. When I turned and looked toward the west, there it was. Above the radio tower, about 1 mile from my house. My wife and I got very excited, because we knew it was probably an alien ship. It made no sound. About this time, my brother in law and big sister who lived about 2 streets over came flying around the corner in their car. They were hollering out of their window as they approached, saying "do you see it, do you see it?". When they got out of their car, of course all four of us were excited, and I don't remember what we said at the moment. We had no camera and they had no camera, and I ran to the neighbors house to borrow a camera and they weren't home. Then as we watched it, we were all amazed and I said, wait a minute, I think that's a radio tower! So I went to my car, I turned the radio on and started scanning all of the channels. Then in our amazement, we came across a station, and my wife said it was KBZB, to the best of her memory. But of course you have to realize this was about 32 years ago. We were really shocked when we heard the disc jockey saying that they had a ufo above their radio tower causing static. So we kept listening to his reports and watching the ufo, and I decided to go inside and look up the phone number of that radio station. I did get the disc jockey, and I don't remember his name. I did ask him if his radio tower was out on west university and he said, yes that's our radio tower. I said, we're looking at the ufo that you're talking about. I don't remember what else I said at the momet, but in a little while I hung up and went back outside with everybody else. Already the ufo had been over the tower about 20 to 25 minutes. My brother and law and I started having the discussion of driving to the ufo, which was about 1 mile from my house. So we tried getting to the tower by going down different dirt roads and couldn't reach it from that direction. So we drove to the main highway, which is west University and found a road which led to a little road which goes to the radio tower. Whether or not the ufo would have interefered with the elctric system of the car, I do not know because we killed the car and stopped at the beginning of the little road that led to the ufo. We were probably about a half mile, maybe a little farther, from the ufo. The color of the ufo was a stainless steel. My brother in law and I sat there and started having the discussion of whether or not to drive up to the ufo, which we could have done. We actually decided not to drive under the ufo, because we thought we might get a flight we did not want. I don't recall what we said during the time we sat there but gradually the ufo moved from the radio tower to the north, it made a 90 degree turn and drifted off toward the west, out of sight. We drove back to my house and they were no longer reporting the ufo on the radio station. I called the radio station again and got the same disc jockey and said, why did you stop reporting about the ufo, and he said that the government told them to shut it down or lose their license. He said, I will tell you something else though. Our electrician went out there to check on why we were having static, and when he got back he was so excited and disturbed that we had to take him to the hospital to get him a hypo to calm him down. He said there were hyroglyphics on the bottom of the ufo. So I hung up after that discussion and later on I called him back one more time and he said one of the t.v. stations had pictures of a ufo above the street lights on west university at night and the government confiscated their pictures and told them to be quite or lose their license. He said that he didn't want to talk about it anymore, because he was afraid he would get in trouble. This completes my version the best I remember of this event, and it is the truth. There were five witness, and I have thier names and occupations on the original report.

A 100 foot diameter,disk shape, dome top. The color was of stainless steel. It made no sound. This UFO came from the Odessa area, moved out west of the city to where I lived.It went about a mile west of my house,it stopped and hovered above a radio tower.

My brother-in-law and myself drove to the road that leads to the radio tower. WE could have drove right to the UFO. WE were afraid we might get a flight we did not want.

Gradually the UFO slowly moved north made a 90 degree turn and drifted off to the west untill it was out of sight.This all happened in the day time. There is a lot more to this event,concerning me calling the radio station while this was occurring and their electricion having to go to the hospital for a Hi-Po shot, but I am not a good typer.

This event really occurred.

Confirmation of Odessa, TX sighting in 1973

I am filing this report in confirmation of the same sighting reported by my husband, ((name deleted)).

We lived west of Odessa, TX at the time. My husband's grandmother (now deceased) called and asked to speak to Stanley. She said she wanted him to go outside and look at the UFO she had been watching that looked like it was close to our area. After talking to her we went outside and looked to our west. There was a huge, building size, silver, saucer shaped object with what looked like an upside down cereal bowl on top of it hovering in the sky about a mile from our house. We had been outside just a few minutes when my brother-in-law, Jim (now deceased)and my sister-in-law, Georgia, screeched their car into our driveway to ask us if we had seen "it". We all looked at it for a few minutes and then Stanley and Jim decided to ride down the road and see if they could get close enough to tell anything about it. Georgia and I just sat there and watched it. It didn't move at all. it just appeared to be sitting over a radio tower. When Stanley and Jim came back to the house about 30 minutes later they told us that they stopped at the entrance to the dirt road leading to the radio tower because they were afraid if they went closer they might get picked up and taken on a ride they didn't want to take. We got the radio and tried to listen to the news and see if anyone else was reporting this or watching it. We finally found an announcer on KBZB radio station that was talking about all the static they were having on their radio transmission and how they were sending a trechnician out to the tower that was having trouble to see what as wrong. Stanley called the station and was asking where their tower was. The disc jockey was talking to him on the air and we could hear the whole conversation on the air while we were outside still watching the saucer. The disc jockey confirmed it was their tower where the saucer was. Stanley hung up and came back outside to watch. Almost an hour after we started watching it the saucer began to move toward the North. It made a turn that was a 90 degree angle and slowly moved off until it was gone. No flashing speed, just slowly drifting away. The radio station had stopped broadcasting anything about it so Stanley called the disc jockey back and asked him why did they stop telling about it, what happened? The disc jockey told him that their technician got to the tower and when he saw the size of the saucer over the tower he went into shock and left. He said they had to take him to the emergency room and get him medicated to calm him down. The disc jockey also told Stanley that he had been contacted by someone claiming to be with the federal government who told him if he didn't want the radio station to lose it's license and be shut down he better quit talking about what happened. He said he was told "Just be Quiet about it". But we were all there, and saw it happen before sundown on a bright, summer night. I had never seen anything like it, and don't know what it was for sure, but I know it was really there.

Brilliant metallic, glowing disc shaped craft with red & blue lights in circle at bottom seen in Odessa, WA, 1969

I shall always remember March 17, 1969, in Odessa, WA. It was my older sister's 14th Birthday party. I was almost 13. Besides our family of five, my sister had 4 friends over & our parents had invited a young family of three & the mother-in-law, who had just arrived here a few weeks prior from Germany, not speaking a stitch of English.

We had finished dinner and were just singing Happy Birthday with the cake, when our phone rang. A neighbor across the street & up the block to the east of us called & said, “Step out on your porch NOW you won’t believe what you see!” The entire group ran out to the front yard and what we saw was totally unexpected. We stood stunned and in awe all at once.

Hovering over the callers home (actually 3 homes by size) was a disc shaped craft which had a glow about it. It was a brilliant metallic unseen before by any of us, adults and children alike. It was near silent, just a hum almost like electrical lines make. It was seamless and at the bottom was a circle of lights which to my recollection these 46 yrs. later were blue and red.

It just hovered in place for at least 5 minutes. Dad yelled out, “I’m going to follow this thing if it moves, who wants to come!” Dad, the male family friend, my younger sister, three of the girls at the party and me jumped in to the old Dodge Dart.

Just as dad started the engine the craft began to move south, but still hovering actually slowly. We followed from our home on 2nd Ave, went right (south) toward the hospital and followed that road through the parking lot then going right again & facing west and taking a left turn at the end of that block. This took us up a slight hill which came to the next street which we took a right on. We parked on the road there.

Directly south of where we parked in a then vacant lot we actually saw the craft land or appear to land, it may have just been hovering very low. Dad turned off the car and we all ran out toward the craft. Right before our very eyes, it disappeared. It did not fly off with great speed as so many reports speak of. It was just plain gone…….

Within this same week we learned that another family in town saw the same craft. I don’t know if it was the same night but they claim it did land in an alfalfa field just outside their family home which I believe was west of Odessa near the cemetery. The woman was an artist who painted what they saw. They also claimed that there were burn marks in a circular shape left in the alfalfa field. She is still living in Odessa.

Gone now from the folks who witnessed the craft hovering over the homes in our neighborhood are my dad, the young man who called that night & his parents, & the German lady. All the rest are still living and could easily witness this account for me. I don’t know how many others in the neighborhood were called that night.

Silvery, football-shaped object rotates then accelerates upward until out of sight.

It was early summer in 1966, mid-afternoon. Clear, cloudless sky. I was installing a television antenna on a rooftop in Odessa, Texas. While looking upward to align the antenna, I saw a motionless silvery-metallic, football shaped object in the sky, straight above. It was smooth and shiny without any surface features that I could see. However, the metallic nature of the surface was very apparent against the blue sky with sunlight reflecting off of it.. As I watched, it began to turn slowly end-over-end, accelerated vertically at a great speed, and then disappeared. The entire duration of the event was approximately 10 seconds. It was not possible to guage the size or the altitude of the object, since I had nothing to reference it to. My subjective impression is that it was about the size of an automobile, a couple thousand feet up. From the time I first noticed it, the object stayed motionless for about 5 seconds. It then rotated in a "wobbly" end-over-end manner 3 or 4 times and began to accelerate upward very fast. The total time from when it began to accelerate until was out of sight was less than a couple of seconds.

Apache heli flying 300-500 feet above ground seemed to be following something

This is not exactly a UFO report but suspicious activity occurring at around 13:30, give or take a few minutes, I hear a loud "buzzing", which is not odd as I live in less than a quarter mile from a small airport. So frequently I am looking out the door to see Planes and Helicopters flying by.

Usually they are civilian aircraft or medical aircraft, but this time it was a Boeing AH-64 Apache helicopter that seemed to be following something(I could not visibly see anything but it was much to low to be just flying by). There were no markings, just a grayish black chopper with a mounted gun clearly visible as the chopper was no more than 300-500 feet off the ground. Which is quite low for the Heli's in this area, and this is not the first sign of a military presence in the area. I have also seen a Boeing Ch-47 Chinook flying by, this one flying much higher then the AH-64 I saw today.
