Magnificent yellow/orange colored light foil hovered and lingered and moved slowly, not in a straight path, then vanished.

Outside and unobstructed, I saw the orange glowing orb after dark, roughly nine p m, last night, 12.04.2024. It was a shimmering orange and yellow light in the sky, well brighter than anything around, and slightly pulsating. It moved not in a straight path, and its brightness was comparable to a meteorite at first, but it lingered and remained suspended. That glow wandered december 4th 2024, roughly in the hour of 9pm in oceanside above the pacific ocean flying from high to shallow. It seemed to be about a mile away from me. Then it just abruptly vanished. My name's Taylor and I saw it with Daryl standing next to me on the backpatio of my apartment. We witnessed it for about ten seconds before it vanished before our eyes and in plain sight.

Observed a light hovering over the ocean.

My UAP encounter…while driving north on interstate 5 in California, passing through the Camp Pendleton marine area, I noticed a extremely bright yellow orb or light on the left side of my vehicle, it was about 0118 am and the skies were clear. I wondered if it was a planet like Jupiter or something, then I thought maybe it’s a helicopter flying at night, there were no red beacon lights to be seen, and the marines do not usually have training at night in this area. I watched it hover in place and thought what the hell is that? My attention turned to traffic ahead and when I turned to observe the object on my left side, it was gone. I continued to drive north and after a short while, I noticed it had reappeared on my right side. It was just as bright as it was before and hovered in place, my thoughts raced as to what this could logically be, but came up with no answers. I observed it for about another minute or two and while focusing on it and training my eye on it to see if it moved, it diminished in brightness to utter and complete darkness. It vanished!

Saw likely helicopter shine phosporescent light quickly then to its southeast a dimly lit large object move away quickly

Clear dark moonlit night. First saw a brilliant phosporescent light quickly turn on then off in a couple seconds, probably a helicopter light. Then to its southeast a dim set of lights in a pattern resembled a disc shape on its side with 15-20 dim small lights hardly noticeable the only reason I saw it was the phosphorescent light was so brilliant and caught my attention in that general direction. This other object with the dim lights at first looked stationary but I think it was cruising slow southeast then it sped up. I think it was about 2,000+ feet high while the phosporescent light (couldn't make out any shape of whatever shone that) was maybe 500 feet high at most. The other object seemed maybe 5-10 miles southeast of the helicopter and pretty large for a flying craft. It sped off and its movement was so consistent almost like it was being pulled away at a tremendous speed. I watched it for maybe a minute before it got out of my view. Was driving so I couldn't take pictures safely but the lights were so dim on such a clear night my phone camera probably wouldn't have picked up much anyway.

While sitting on the balcony at night looking west towards the ocean, we observed an assumed triangle shaped craft (based on the pattern of the 5 amber orange orb lights) traveling south along the coastline through the clouds. The craft made no sound and had no other lights besides those mentioned. As it traveled through the fog, it almost appeared as though it were cloaking. It’s speed was faster than a helicopter or commuter jet but not exponentially fast. The movement was steady and direct with no erratic behavior. The object(s) were also witnessed by my niece.

I was on my balcony looking at the ocean and saw a cone shaped thing with a weird flight pattern flying. It was just too straight. Thought I was seeing a plane wrong, but the more I watched it was cone shaped and the green light that it was emitting was like a beam and it wasn’t a star. I finally said out loud (but didn’t yell) “hi, can you hear me?” And the green light went out and I never saw it again. I recently saw a coastal news article with a lady’s picture from 2014 and it looked exactly like one of those cone shaped things in her picture over the pier. That’s how I found this site.

I was laying on my grass in the backyard looking up at the sky, when a metallic spherical object appeared in the sky. The most striking aspect of this was the fact that it did not drift into my sight from another point in the sky, rather, it appeared or materialized from out of nowhere in my direct line of sight. 7 of us were out on the driveway ,our contractor looked up into the sky not quite directly overhead and spotted a round doughnut shaped object . It wasn't moving . It was an orange/yellow color which we figured was probably a reflection from the sun setting. I live near the beach . We got the binoculars and we were all able to see it clearly...there was a distinct hole in the middle. The inversion layer clouds were starting to roll in ..so after about 5 minutes of clear view with and without the binoculars, it wasn't able to be seen.

Multiple lights moving into line formation during morning storm over Oceanside

This sighting happened this morning, Thursday, November 28th, 2019 at around 8:20am. It looked somewhere northwest over Oceanside, CA. Hard to tell exactly where. I was in the Emerald/College area of Oceanside, so this was maybe over the San Luis Rey Mission area, for my best guess.

The weather conditions were pre/mid storm. There had been some rain this morning and I could see rain coming down in the sunlight over to the east, so I knew there’d most likely be a rainbow. I went outside to look to the west, where there were dark clouds, and could see the rainbow out west over the ocean. As I’m viewing it, some movement catches my eye, just a little more northwest. I can see three lights moving around in very odd and fluid ways. One almost seemed to do a circle or a loop. The others were kind of moving side to side or up and down. None of this was in a rigid type way like what I’ve seen with drones. All movement was very smooth and fluid.

I’m watching these three lights, and my dad was seeing it as well, agreeing it was very odd, and he had no idea what it might be as well. The lights would hover, and at times would fade or dim, and it was hard to track them, as the sky was grey, and they’d kind of fade into the grey. I’m able to see the three lights again, but all of a sudden they just went into formation. The three lights all went into a horizontal row, and two more lights suddenly appeared in this formation. So there were five lights in a row. At times it appeared there could be up to eight lights in a row at times. All moving as if they were one object, kind of up and down or left to right at times, or just hover. This is when the lights would fade out a lot more, then get brighter, and I was having more of a hard time tracking them, or telling exactly how many there were. Sometimes it would seem like more lights would appear, or sometimes change order in this formation.

Eventually after watching what would appear to be a “stereotypical” UFO (a row of multiple lights, not moving in any way I’ve ever seen a plane, helicopter, or drone move) for about a minute, it just disappeared. I didn’t see it zoom off or anything. It’s almost as if it just went invisible.

The weather is now a pretty strong storm, with heavy rains, and I have been hearing thunder. Lightning is expected for this storm as well. I am curious if this is related to the expected lightning storm, as I’ve seen other weird sightings in the sky during storms.

Oceanside, Oregon Triangular formation of blue lights

While starwatching with my family in the skies over the Pacific WNW of Oceanside, Oregon, at around 2000 on November 4, I snapped some photos with my phone to test out a new camera app. I reviewed the photos approximately 10 minutes after they were taken and saw that one had captured 3 blue lights in a triangular formation.

I immediately returned outside to attempt to see the lights and to recreate the photo, but was unable to reproduce the results or see anything in the sky that could have accounted directly for the three blue lights. I make no assertions about the cause or origin of these lights. Night photography with a smartphone presents many technical difficulties and opportunities for processiong errors and artifacts.

Circular floating metalic ball over Oceanside, CA.

Noticed a metallic looking object floating in the sky, heading east from west, clear blue sky, little bit of wind, maybe 1000 feet high guesstimate, maybe 10 feet wide guesstimate. No sound or fumes. It could be a Mylar Balloon floating but not sure, and don't think so, so took a couple of pics. Object drifted behind the big tree, then never reappeared. Strange.

My wife and I have also seen many lights in the night sky over the past month. Some are a brilliant flash of light, size of a distant star. Some flash 3 times and then disappear. This is all happening over southern California, near Marine base, Camp Pendelton, Oceanside.

Light in sky changing color and moving sporadically in relative spot in sky. (Also, streak of light that fell from sky straight down)

Light appearing every other night around my area of residence. I've seen this occurrence twice so far. It's a very bright and flashing light source in the night sky; purple, blue, green, white; extremely vibrant colors in no specific order. Movement is sporadic in speed and direction; however, it never leaves the same sector of the sky. It's behavior is not that of a helicopter, plane, or Drone (it stays constantly moving for an hour+, that's when I have seen it; I do have to go to bed and am not able to watch it all night all though I very much long too.) Movements are not in great spans. Very subtle; I had to carefully watch it in order to assure myself it is really moving and it wasn't a figment of my imagination. As I currently just continued to watch it a bright blue/white ball/streak fell out of the sky and behind a tree about 15 miles away; half the distance of the light in the sky. (please don't think this is a hoax)

I and other children saw it, we ran towards it, we froze and stared as if we couldn't move. I felt numb it evaporated with gassy colors

I and other children were playing at the playground (country villas apartments). I seen a cylinder shaped object hovering over the sidewalk and parking lot near my apartment. I told them and everyone ran in hear. But instead of running away we were drawn towards. We got at least 10 feet away from the object before we could no longer move. This object had red, green, and blue lights as well as colorful gasses coming from the object. The same color as the lights. I felt numb yet not in dangered. I don't believe I even blinked. It was at least 30 to 50 feet off the ground. We all just stood there froze in the same position, feeling a vibrational sensation inside it sat there as if watching us. the objects cloud of gases became larger and once that happened it was gone as if it evaporated into thin air. There was nothing there when the gas cleared.There was no sound, no noise, no vibration. There wasn't even the sound of an engine. I don't know how much time went by it didn't feel as if time was still going. I was being paralyzed, it wasn't natural. I wanted to record but could not. I just know it happened in 2016 at this location. It wouldn't hurt to investigate. Please contact me for any questions. It's been driving me crazy. A yellowish orangish light approached as a plane. Then the object stopped straight above and turned bright white as a helicopter spolight. Then the light epexpanded out in all directions until it was 100 times as big; bright and white like a helicopter spotlight in the fog. Then it turned towards the west and the white light turned with it like a flashlight would if you rotated it. Then it jetted off leaving a white glow and a commet tail flair of glowing teal colored light. The teal light condensed and just hovered long after the object was gone. There was no sound ever.

Standing on Main Side, Camp Pendleton, and looking west, my wife noticed a bright light. This was a perfectly clear night with no cloud cover in the sky. She pointed it out to me and I first thought it was a comet. It was a bright light with a long tail. The tail was white and red in color. After a few moments, the tail went away, but the light continued to move in a linear fashion and appeared to slow down. The next thing to happen was out of the light, a spherical cloud, appearing grey in color, was emitted. Within the grey cloud, a bluish light could be seen. This bluish light was horizontal, appearing cylindrical in shape although it was hazy through the cloud. The ball of light could still be seen for several moments. Later, the bluish light vanished, and the ball of light could no longer be seen, although the cloud lingered much longer.

The light cross the sky in about one minute. The speed of that was unreal.

I was shooting a time-lapse of the blood moon, when I saw a light going directly to the sky, right in the center of the moon (at least the angle I was shooting) It was looking a normal airplane, but the speed was anormal. The light cross the sky in about one minute, so I couldn't see anymore.

On the video, is possible to see the light passing first, and an airplane passing after... It's possible to compare the difference of speed from one to other craft.

Orange lights flying set distance from one another in an arc. Single craft later observed

I was sitting outside in my backyard, when I saw 2 bright orange lights flying in an arc, a set distance from one another. They were travelling fairly slow, almost as if they were observing. As they got closer to the horizon, they disappeared.

I was screaming for someone to come outside. My father came outside in time to see the third (supposed, my father said) craft. He believes it is an airplane, but I spend enough time outside to know that aircrafts have blinking lights.

I've seen strange things before, but this made me truly question my sanity.

Red/Orange lights in the sky

Last night my friend and I were on the beach in Oceanside, California. It was 7:18pm and there was no one else on the beach but us. All of a sudden in the sky appeared approximately seven objects that were red and orange in color. They were placed the same exact distance apart from one another, almost forming a triangular shape. At first it seemed to be standing still in the sky, it made no noise at all. It seemed to slowly drift or fade and then all of a sudden it was gone.

Bright balls of light hovering in the sky over Oceanside, CA.

I was on the south side of the city returning from a class and I noticed two large objects in the sky, my first thought was helicopters because the seem to be staying in one place, my home is about 4 miles from where I first saw the lights there were two large clusters of yellow light, then it changed and there were four for a minute I thought they were street lights but they were to high and to yellow.

I watched them my entire trip when I got to my house they seem much closer to the ground and it appeared to be two objects I went in to get my partner who is a retired nuclear physicist and my binoculars. I could see what appeared to be smoke rolling of of the top of one of the objects then is just disappeared.

Looking through the binoculars the other object appeared to be two very large circular shapes almost on top of each other, in the back round I could see faint light in the clouds of the other object. The circular object that was still in the sky appeared to have lights all around it and a smaller circular object in the middle with lights around it as well then it started to fade and disappeared. When I was on the south side of town the objects were very high in the sky but on the north side of town they appeared lower still the view with binoculars was more defined that what I saw just looking with my eyes.

My partner was astounded and could not find an explanation as to what we were seeing. I took photos with my iphone and the objects just appeared to be small balls of light that were very far away.

After they were gone you could see the smoke through the binoculars behind the clouds and faint red balls in the sky.

Looking North from Oceanside toward Camp Pendelton, I saw one orange flickering fireball. I was driving in my truck and saw it hovering up near the clouds.

I thought it was a streetlight, at first, but then I realized it was a fireball off in the distance.

I pulled over to watch it and film it, but right when I got my phone out and started filming, it faded to black.

Red lights move slowly and vanish within seconds.

My wife and I were driving west on Oceanside Blvd. She looked south and said, "Oh my gosh, there are six red lights hovering really low in they sky"

As I looked up I could see all six red lights, not one of the lights were blinking like most aircraft in the sky. They were all far too close togther to be helicopters or airplanes, about 100 feet off the ground and almost as if they were in a rectangular formation.

We live close to the Marine base and I've seen helicopters in formation many times before, never do they fly in a proportionate rectangular formation. Also, you can hear helicopters/airplanes flying, there was no sound.

We made a left driving toward the lights. The two lights at the top of the formation began to move up toward the sky very slowly. We pulled into our garage and came running out with our camera phones ready, the lights were gone.

In the literal 5 seconds it took to get back outside to see the lights, they had completely vanished.

We were astonished and left to wonder, what type of red lights could have been stagnant in the sky and just completely vanish within seconds?

Six orange orbs in the sky near Oceanside.

On 7-26-14, my son and I were coming home from an outing. It was around 10:00 PM.

As we were coming down our road we noticed in the sky 4 orange colored floating orbs grouped in twos. They were fairly close to each other. They looked as though they were barely moving. They were not at all like airplanes. There were no flashing lights. It was almost as if they were drifting very slowly in the sky.

Within a few minutes we noticed two more of them come up on the right side like they were trying to catch up.

After they were all together they started to fade out one by one until they all disappeared.

These orbs were seen out above the ocean near Oceanside.

I would say the sky was somewhat cloudy but the orbs were very visible .

It was something we had never seen before so we had to pull off to the side of the road so we could take it all in.

We wondered if anyone else had witnessed this as well.

Seven small orange orbs seen floating in night sky less than one mile from Camp Pendleton, California.

We were outside on deck a talking when I saw a small orange light floating up above the person I was speaking to. First just one light as it descended into the clouds another began to rise up, soon there were 6 small orange lights following one another. All appeared to be drifting along as if following the coastline then they too began to float upward, one by one disappearing into the low bank of clouds. We are about one minute from the entrance to Camp Pendleton army base.

After these small orbs descended into clouds a very quiet helicopter flew overhead four time, making a five mile radius circle around the area but flying each time flying directly over our heads before flying off south in the direction where the orbs came from.

I am a female artist visiting Calif. and the other person is a male Electrician doing electrical work on new construction for the military on Camp Pendleton itself.

Last night I was getting ready for bed, locking all the doors and windows.

When I looked out of the sliding glass door a saw a orange ball of light in the sky line. I began to do a process of elimination in my head, As the orb of light just hovered over this spot in the distance it occurred to me it clearly wasn't a plane. I went outside to see if I could possibly hear helicopter noise....nothing.

Then a second orb apeared and the first one was gone, vanished! The second orange in color orb hovered for a bit and then as fast as it appeared it disappeared! I have never seen anything like it!

After both orbs disappeared I heard and saw a military helicopter the helicopter was loud and gray in color and had no lights on it.

I saw a bright light that looked like a plane on fire flying west. I went to get my family and by the time they got outside there were two more moving west. The first one faded out and the two new ones got closer to each other, then reversed direction and moved east. Then a fourth brightest light appeared moving west. They all looked like fireballs that faded out.

The circular object or light was bright orange in the center, and had a hazy red ring surrounding it.

Upon returning from the grocery store, pulling into my driveway, I look to the east and notice one large circular light in the sky. What caught my attention most about this light or object was that it wasn't steadily moving in one direction like any military or commercial aircraft.

I immediately got out of my car to closely examine this object. When I got out of my car, I instantaneously realized the light was moving from left to right, up and down, almost in a circular motion. It was hovering and not leaving the radius in which it was circling.

I knew the object that was projecting the light I seen was not man made. It was the real thing.

Before I could think twice to pull out my phone and record the object moved a bit more rapidly in many different directions, and within seconds it disappeared into the sky. It didn't disappear like it suddenly went invisible, but it literally sped into the sky and vanished from my sight. Faster then any aircraft I've ever seen, or expect to see in my lifetime.

Silent group of lights moving overhead. Hovered briefly then reversed course and disappeared.

Walked outside my house just after dusk and noticed a silent group of lights traveling overhead from east to west. There were four lights in what seemed to be a upright square shape (2 white, 1 blue, and 1 red). Very bright colors that were quite beautiful. I think this is what attracted my eyes to the object. I had the impression that the object was quite close. It appeared to be 30-50 feet in altitude and 100-200 yards away. It also seemed to be quite small. Perhaps the size of a small cellphone held at arm’s length. After a few seconds, the object stopped and hovered briefly then reversed course quickly back to the east and disappeared behind a row of homes in our subdivision. I went back in the house to the upstairs bedroom to see if I could spot the object but it was gone.

What I found interesting was the complete silence of the object and how smoothly it moved through air. Weather conditions were clear, no clouds or wind with an ambient temperature of! ~60 degrees. It was definitely not an aircraft. A helicopter could have performed similar maneuvers but it was completely silent. The only thing that I can imagine it was would be some sort of remote control drone, but a completely silent one. Our home is quite close to a local municipal airport so I am familiar with the aircraft that land there. This was something completely different.

Three orange to red undulating lights above cloud cover, in series, at somewhat regular intervals of five to eight minutes.

At approximately 2150 I went out for a walk with the dogs. I’m a habitual star gazer, and was looking at the night sky. A low and light cloud cover with intermittent gaps provided a peaceful view as I walked. At 2155 I noticed, approaching from a northwesterly direction, a bright orange point of light with a slight reddish glare. It was just above the clouds. The intensity of the light undulated and the speed was variable. This was not due to the effect of uneven cloud cover, as it was too thin in the beginning to be the cause. Even in the gaps, where the sky was clear, the color and intensity of the light undulated and the speed varied. The object also moved almost imperceptibly from left to right at irregular intervals, but kept to its trajectory toward the southeast. From the horizon (zero degrees) to approximately 130 degrees (sorry, I can’t calculate angular velocity here), it traveled for about 20 seconds before speed slowed and the light began to fade! . It almost looked as though it was ascending or stopping at the end, but as it moved over thicker cloud cover, I could not discern which. There was no flicker or winking as it faded and disappeared from view, and no noise with the exception of a civilian helicopter in the distance.

I called the national UFO reporting center and was interrupted by a second light at approximately 2108. A second call was interrupted by a third sighting, another five to eight minutes later. In all three cases, the light appeared from over the northwest horizon and moved southeast, passing directly overhead. Again, there was no noise, slight wavering in direction, slight variation in speed, and dramatic slowing at the end as the light faded.

After the third siting, and upon the advice of the gentleman who answered my call to the NRC hotline, I called the FAA Flight Service Station in San Diego, which reported light cloud cover at 1300 feet and very light winds.

I called the Camp Pendleton Command Duty Officer, who said there were no exercises on the range that he was aware of. He speculated that illumination from an artillery battery could be the cause, but as a Marine myself, I know of no reason why the 11th Marines would be firing arty illumination over the civilian population more than fifteen miles to the south. (The altitude of such illumination would be much higher than seen as well -- though not as high as illumination launched or dropped by aircraft – in either case, this is definitely not what I saw.) This was not something that looked like any conventional illumination the USMC might use in training.

I called the Oceanside Police Department desk sergeant, who said there were no other calls or operations in the area – and frankly I am not sure the Oceanside Police would have any reason to launch flares from a helicopter. The desk sergeant said she would have thought they were flares as well.

I want to say these were flares. They looked much larger and brighter than stars, undulating, and fading, but not winking out. The cloud cover prevented a clear, sustained view for the entire arc of movement. These objects seemed to be moving much faster than any flare I have seen, including military grade flares. They were directional and not drifting, and when they faded they didn’t appear to descend at all, but either remained at altitude (above 1500 feet at least) or ascended. If they were flares, they were pretty darn good ones -- just not for ground illumination! Very strange, indeed.

This object had a bright orange light that was steady and not moving

I got out of my auto in the driveway and saw above my garage to the north east a large bright orange globe at an altitude of about ten thousand feet in the dark sky.

The size of the object appeared to be dime sized at that altitude. It was not moving I went in and got my wife but it was gone perhaps covered up by low clouds it did not appear again.

Redish circular UFO cruising south west in San Diego County

Hi! I thought what I just saw was rather interesting and was worth a google search to notify the appropriate people. I couldn't sleep and was out back having a cigarette- looking up at the stars (pretty clear for the most part with a few clouds north east of where I'm located. Next thing you know coming from the north heading south (almost bee lining it to the coast) I saw a circle with a ring above. The ring was very defiant and visible. It lasted long enough for me to blink, blink again and it was still just cruising heading southwest.

I travel frequently and this thing was cruising in the same view as you would an ascending or decsending airplane.

It was a orange bright light the size of a star. It appeared to be a few hundred feet from the ground. It was moving from west to north then zig zaged. It dropped 2 balls of fire. No sounds in the sky. I've seen many meteors and this was not one.

Brilliant flare like object into black craft with red light

From the 7-11 near back gate, Redondo/Vandegrift. Saw what looked to be a signal flare, walked past a light pole and it turned into a black object with many red lights. It traveled north to north west toward Camp Pendleton.

Walking toward the north on the street, a helicopter went to the same airspace as the black object, the sound of the helicopter was very prominent, as compared to the silent black object.

The lights on the black object would blink 1 at a time in succession from the direction it was going, in 3 flashes.

We saw a solid yellowish light with a vapor trail silently pass fade then re-appear.

9/25/2010 at around 9pm

My family and I were leaving a beach party near the Oceanside pier when my son said “check out that jet” I looked in the direction and saw what I believed to be a jet with a long bright vapor trail. It was traveling in a fairly straight line horizontally to the ocean at about 30 degrees flying north to south. The light on the aircraft was a bright yellow and the vapor trail was the same color. I lowered my widow to be sure that what I was seeing wasn’t a reflection on the window. Certain it was a jet I turned the car off and expected to here the sound of a thundering engine but it was completely quiet. As it passed midpoint the light began to fade very similarly to how I’ve seen satellite fades in the passed so I re assessed it as possibly a satellite reflecting the sun but about two seconds after it faded the light flared up again with what appeared to be a puff of smoke and slowed down considerably. The sky was relatively clear however the puff of smoke could have been ! a small cloud that simply wasn’t visible prior to the flare up. As the craft passed silently in front of us it slowly faded once again.

Not a plane. Not a helicopter. Red and blue lights that vanish and come back within a second

It was around 8:45 at night. The sky was still slightly blue so it was not completely dark. I was sitting at the top of my stairs at my apartment. (Let me just say a week and a half ago I saw the same thing around 4 in the morning, I told my mom about what I say but she did not believe me. It was a very bright light, white bright light and had a small red light above it moving around, it was be there than vanish than come back.) Anyways back to last night. So I saw something moving in the sky when I looked up. The way it was turning was so quickly and smoothly that there was no way it could be a plane or a helicopter. It made no sound at all. It had 2 blue lights and one red light. I screamed for my mom and she came running out of her room to where I was, I looked up at the object, oh yeah and I couldn't make out the shape because the lights were too bright and it was still a little too dark, anyways, my mom got over there and at this point it was just flying straight and looked pretty normal. My mom was like you called me out here to look at a plane in the sky. I didn't say anything and we both kept staring at it. All of the sudden it started moving up and down like it would drop 100 feet and than go back up again way to smoothly and easily to be anything like a helicopter or plane, it was turn very quickly also, like it'd be going in one direction and in a split second it'd be going the opposite way. Me and my mom were speechless. I looked at her and asked her to explain what that could possibly be and she just laughed. She did not have any idea what that could possibly be. She started nervously laughing. We watched it for another 5 minutes and it started flying away towards the west and all of sudden it completely vanished. About 2 seconds later it showed up in a completely different part of the sky. So it vanished and than popped up on the opposite side of where it vanished. IMPOSSIBLE thing for a plane or helicopter to do. My mom looked at me and was like how in the world could it d! o that.

We stayed out there for about 10 minutes watching this thing vanish and come back and do turns and smooth flips making no sounds. Than one of our neighbors came out who lives below me. He looked up and me and my mom staring into the sky and was like what are you guys looking at. We didn't say anything so he looked up in the direction we were looking at. He was like Oh a plane. The object was again flying straight so looked kinda normal. Than it started doing those 180 turns and going up and down the guy stared at it and pulled out his camera phone and was freaking out. He tried to take a picture but of course it didn't come out good. Being a cell phone camera. I can't even take picture of a full moon on my camera phone. Anyways. It started getting far away and vanished behind trees. The guy ran out into the parking lot on the phone telling his friends what he saw looking for it. My mom still didn't know what to say, and I went inside to call friend and tell her. I came back out and my mom was still staring in the sky, I looked up and the object was gone but now smaller lights that were further away began to pop up in the sky. They were sparkly to the point where they looked like they were on fire. Again with red and blue lights around them. I don't know what this was. It was DEFINITELY not a plane or helicopter or jet or anything like that because those can't vanish and pop back into the sky or morph around like that.

Witnessed unlit oval craft.

Since my first sighting in March 08' I spend a few minutes at the end of the day star gazing on clear nights. This particular Saturday night I was standing on my porch which faces south. I was just about to go inside when I observed some sort of oval craft travelling North to South. The craft had no lights, but was a light color which made it just visible in the star light. It was pretty low, maybe 500 feet or so. It made no audible sound, was moving very fast and in a perfectly straight line with no visible variation in speed. It was about the size of a thumbnail held at arms length. As it was passing over my neighbors house I ran down to the street in hopes of visually re acquiring it, but it was already out of sight. At first I thought it may be a bird flying at night, but I don't know of any birds which fly 500 feet high at that speed, in a straight line at 10:40pm at such a size. Most birds are not oval either.

As this thing was passing over, the dogs in the general area began barking which lasted for about 2 minutes. After observing the sky for another 10 minutes or so, I went inside. We are currently dog sitting my Mother In Laws little dog which I found cowering in the corner of the living room. I have never seen her do that. It took several minutes to get her calmed and to stop shaking.

One other thing worth mentioning is that this craft, or whatever it was, took the exact trajectory as the first craft I witnessed back in March 08'. My March 08 sightings (there was one and then 3 in a row a few nights later)were the first sightings I have had in my 45 years. I was somewhat of a skeptic until recently.

I have noticed that many professional people, including astronauts and pilots are beginning to come forward regarding their UFO experiences. This coupled with what I have seen to be a rash of sightings recently leads me to believe we may soon, and finally have conformation of what is really going on here.

While smoking a cigarette on my patio facing west towards the ocean I glanced into the night sky and happened to notice, it was very clear visibilty and as I looked over the horizon I saw what appeared to be a flashing star, it changed color from bright reds to blues in a spectrum. I thought that maybe it was a plane but it didn't move but stayed floating in the sky positioned in the same spot. It appeared to be several hundreds of feet away after making my assumptions as what it was I then ran in my home and alerted my wife to view what I had saw. She returned outside with me and was amazed! She then ran inside to awake my daughter who returned with her to witness this object. I had grabbed my camera in the midst of all that had gone on and used my 75X300 lens to capture the object and I have pictures.I also used my video camera and captured it as well. What was this I wonder and if anyone know please contact me back.

Glowing Orange Ball In Sky, Maneuvering Capabilities, Have Photos witnessed by 4 people

I was out walking my dog in my neighborhood. I was coming back home and noticed a bright orange star to the northeast. It was far away with other stars but I thought it curious and I wondered if there ere any other orange stars in the sky. I panned from the orange star in the sky to the left looking down my street. To my absolute astonishment there was a glowing orange ball approximately 100 yards above my neighbor’s home just sitting there idle. I thought to myself "there is no way I'm seeing this so I rubbed my eyes and did a double take but the object was still there. It was a glowing bright orange ball just hovering over our neighborhood. When I realized that it wasn’t a figment of my imagination I started running down the street dragging my dogs behind me. I have 2 bull dogs and one of them is older and doesn’t run very fast. After trying to drag her I finally just threw her leash away and left her in the street while I ran home. My father and daughter were both home and I yelled in the house “you’re not going to believe this but there is a UFO outside.” Both of them came into the back yard and witnessed it. While I was running home it moved slowly from above my neighbor’s house across the street to the east over our back yards. We sat there looking at it in awe. It looked kind of like a party balloon as it was circular, but it was glowing orange. So bright in fact that you could see the light from it emanating off the neighboring rooftops. After it hovered over out back yard for about 5 minutes it then started moving south. I new I had to tell more people so I ran over to my neighbors, knocked on their door, the wife answered and I told her she had to come out side and see this UFO. It was starting to get further away moving slowly thought the sky but we both sat there and watched it move southward stopping periodically and hovering for 5 or 10 minutes and then continuing on to the south. This happened in Oceanside California near the intersection of Lake and Ridge. What was reall! y amazin g is that it just hovered over my neighbor’s house and then moved eastward. Stopped, hovered again and then moved southward stopping periodically and just hovering. There was no wind out and the light was so bright that it could not have been a balloon with a light inside or on fire because it was visible from at least a mile as it continued southward down Melrose Ave towards the city of Carlsbad. We did get 2 pictures of it and there has to be more people that saw it. It was not necessarily a craft but it was able to maneuver and shone so bright that as it passed the neighboring homes the rooftops glowed orange.

Hi my name is ((deleted)) I’m reporting this because I have yet to do an official submission of my case, although I have told Linda Howe my story once before. My entire life seems to have some connection with ufo’s and although I never realized until my twenties I've always had some sort of connection with the topic.

As a child I frequently had dreams of craft mostly black triangles and rectangles with red light at corners, keep in mind these dreams occurred before I knew anything about ufology and only found out later on that these types of craft were really being seen by people. I disregarded these dreams for a long time. In 1997 my mom and sister had a night time sighting of a dark black sphere with lights moving across its rim over Camp Pendleton marine Base near our house, it wasn’t till then that I began to start taking ufos seriously.

Then in 2009 I went to drive to the beach to pick up my friend to go skateboarding that I had a sighting of my own. I drove to an intersection near the 76 expressway in Oceanside and at the red light I happened to look up. In the sky I saw a ball of bluish white light doing zig zag’s and then stopping then starting to zig zag again, the entire sighting lasted only about 7 seconds. Eventually the ball of light dropped down behind a mountain and out of view The sky wasn’t fully dark but was getting dark this happened around 6-7 pm. This sighting further increased my interest and caused me to become an amateur ufologist in my own rite.

A few years later in 2009 I became alarmed after some more intriguing experiences that took place in my room. One night I was awoken at 3:00 am by a loud sparking sound and I looked up and saw a small orb of light shoot trough the corner of my room’s wall. I’m not saying this object was a UFO but I don’t know what it was, orb, sphere, was it a ghost I have no clue all I know is it probably wasn’t ball lightning. After the orb incident a few months past and I had a dream the completely rocked my world or at least it might have been a dream…… The following is what I recall from this dream / possible abduction…….I wake up in a foreign alien room, the walls are green and spongy I soon realize I’m not alone and that I’m with other humans all dressed in normal casual clothes and no one is talking and I’m not able to talk, I then realize that there are other beings in the room, these beings are brown humanoids with extremely wrinkly skin, they don’t have any noticeable genitals or sexually features, they have small all black eyes same size as ours but the whole eye is black, they range in height from about 5-6 feet tall, they have no hair, 5 digit fingers and toes like us, no nails, the mouth was hard to see because of the wrinkly skin on their faces. The beings do not talk or use telepathy they motion to sit down on these bench type things that are almost like grown from the floor, the room is cylindrical and besides the weird benches it’s empty of equipment. The brown alien guys motion us to site down once we all ! do they begin to project images that seem to float in mid air, the room starts to seem like a theater now, on the images they show peaceful images of the earth and earth life, then the next image will be a negative image of earth floods, war, dead bodies. They seemed interested in how we felt about these images and the contrasting of the images content. After all this was over we were taken out into a hallway and the last recall I have is walking down this hallway and seeing this rather attractive brunette girl then the memory just stops, like I wasn’t supposed to remember anything else.

I know this sounds crazy but I’ve never head another dream this intense and these aliens look like nothing I’ve heard described before and they sure weren’t grays or reptilian or any of the things I’ve heard of in movies. If this was just a dream then it may be a dream of a real event coming trough. I’ve sometimes gone to bed and woke up on the couch and other weird things including unexplained marks on my skin. I don’t really want to say I’m an abductee but the more I learn about it the more and more I feel I fit the category. Through all of this I'm still quite normal considering these events, but I know how hard it is to express these things so in hopes that others might come forward and hopefully if anyone has seen similar brown beings it would be nice to share.

Silver metallic object seen hovering high above suburban intersection in late afternoon sky, might be two objects.

While riding in the back seat of 2003 Hyundai Tiburon, my friends and I stopped at a light at the cross streets of College and Towne Center, heading Southbound. I leaned my head back to look at the sky, bored, while we were waiting for the light to change. The sky was clear blue, but my eyes immediately fixed onto an object. It was very high in the sky. I couldn't make out a shape, but it was reflecting light. It appeared stationary in the sky. I tried to determine if there was any movement at all. The light turned green and we rolled forward to the next cross street, Frazee Road. The light was green there so we rolled right on through. I never looked away. I could tell where we were because the road goes uphill from there and turns slightly to the left. I removed my ballcap and tried to keep an eye on the object. I didn't say anything to my friends because at this point, I was believing this to be one of those food store balloons you usually see at the register. I thought maybe a kid had lost one. Then I saw the object appear to reflect light in two spots, like maybe there was not one but two objects. Still, I thought, maybe they were two balloons tied together. The strange thing was, I couldn't really tell if the object drifted any. I wasn't in the best circumstance for viewing them, I realize, and they may have been just balloons, maybe even a weather balloon, but the thing that seemed off to me was that they did seem perfectly still in the sky. *shrugs* Posting it here just in case it was something more and someone else got a better view of it.

I observed a strange disc shaped object in the distance. Moving north to south. Moving at an excelerated speed. I was able to view this object for a period of 5 minutes when I was able to grab my digital camera. I used the max setting for distance and took a picture. To my surprise and shock I was able to have the camera record detail that my eye was unable to see. The best way to describe what was photogrphed is to picture an egg sunny side up, slightly tilted in the pan. My camera caught what appears to be a saucer shaped disc with a concentrated black inner circle that appears to be atop the disc. But the amazing detail is that it is surrounded by a brilliant white "albumen" that engulfs the saucer. This white albumen was not visible to my eye. Upon relaying my sighting to my group of friends, I was told that my coworkers son also viewed something in the sky that night and refused to go to bed. He swears that it was not a plane or any known craft.

To see the picture speaks volumes of what I witnessed.

I took a picture at sun set 13 10 04 0f the sun set at ocean beach oregon. I looked in the review window and I saw a object on th upper left hand side that look ed like a disk with a dome on top. I showed it to three other people who were with me. and then took two more shot's of the sun set.numbre two shot was a little to far to the left to show anything. My number three picture only show a very faint object that looked like a smoke ring, it was about the same place above the large rocks as the disk and dome. We did not se it weth our naked eyes. We were finishing eating dinner in the back yard when my niece pointed east to the sky asking what was that and when we looked up to the sky we saw 4 objects flying in formation, the objects were shining and circular in shape, the sky was clear and sunny, then suddenly we saw another object just like those 4 but just a little spread from the other four objects that are in formation ..like "watching"... this object (the 5th) was somehow brighter than the others, just minutes after that and while we were still watching the formation wich changed from beeing a rectangular formation to a triangular with only 3 objectas taking partin this last formation and one spreading out then we saw the 6th and 7th object coming from the same direction those others came then the formation broke and changed from the triangular to a lined up formation and all the objects where flying north west at the same time like following one behind the other, we had binoculars (not the best ones) and some of us saw the objects and they looked like metalic circles and sometimes the sun reflection (i guess) changed from metalic color to a red in one side of each object, it was a very weird thing, all the witnesses are part of my family but not all believe in UFO's.

At approx. 5 a.m. I got up to take the dogs out, while I was waiting on them I looked up in the sky to look at the stars. It was clear directly above and nearby my neighborhood. I could see the stars very clearly, and I happened to look west out over the ocean, which is approx 15 miles to the shoreline from where I live. I noticed an unusual bright light, that was different in appearance to the other stars in the sky. From the naked eye you could see a flickering to it around the center of the light source, which was very bright. I took the dogs in, and got my spotting telescope to get a better look at it. What I could see was a center mass, round, illuminated, very bright, white light. Around the center mass which appeared to be considerable in size, there was a radiating, almost slight flickering of reddish-orange light source going all the way around the center mass. I watched it for about 5 mins., then decided to call my wife out to take a look, and maybe give her opinion of what she thought it might be. I asked her to give her honest opinion, and she said she never seen anything like it. We watched it for awhile, and had to follow it just slightly with the telescope, as it had lateral movement to it. But basically it just hovered out over the ocean, above a fog bank. Now what was interesting was a plane (possibly private) was heading in it's direction only at an angle, like it was on its own flight path, with nothing to do with this light source. It seemed to be just heading out over the ocean, and didn't appear to be heading to this object. My wife noticed the object retreat further back over the ocean as if to avoid this plane. As the plane continued on it's way, the light source came back to it's original location and 5 minutes later just dissapeared. Gone in an instant. We discussed it about a half hour later, and both of us noticed, that when this plane was heading in the objects direction, only at an angle, the object retreated in such a manner, as to not bring attention to i! tself. It was very quick, very smooth and fluid (maybe 5-10 miles)in a blink of an eye. It was so smooth, almost like it was blending in with the sky, at the same time it dimmed it's lights ever so slight, that if you were'nt paying attention, it wouldn't have even been noticed. Now I did witness this object two nights ago, however about 7 p.m in the eve. Same basic location, although a bit closer to shore. I went to my neighbors house and had him look at the object through the telescope, and asked him what he thought. He also was perplexed, and has never seen anything like it. All three of us went through all the logical explanations of what it could be, and all three of us came up with the same answer, this object was totally unique, and we could not explain what it might be. Now being a logical person, I called three news station to see if there we're any reports, and they did not receive any calls. I called Camp Pendelton Marine base which is just North of this sighting, they did not have any aircraft, or manuvers out on the ocean. I called Miramar Marine Corp airbase, located about 25 miles south and to the east of this sighting, they also had no aircraft, or manuvers going on in this area. Typically, this would'nt have me reporting this to your agency, however This object was unlike anything I have seen in my life, I also have two other witnesses that feel the same way. Now, it very well could be explained away, as an aircraft, a star, a helicopter, or balloon by those who chosing to do so. All I know is this object was capable of very, very quick movement with angular flight paths. It also was unlike any light source I have ever seen, it was incredibly bright, and the radiating reddish-orange light that surrounded the object almost appeared to be on fire. Anyway, I saw what I saw, and if it appears to be something explainable that would be fine by me. I am concerned tho' with Camp Pendelton to the north, and just north of that is San Onofre Nuclear power plant. I suppose this would be just coincid! ental, but it just seems odd. One last thing, Miramar said if something we're out there, they would've picked it up on radar, however it was out there and they didn't catch it on radar. Tight formation of metallic egg shaped crafts

Driving North on Interstate 5 a bright light or reflection was noticed on the West side of the highway passing through the city of Oceanside. The exact location was about 1/4 mi. S. of CA 78 and 1 mile S. of Camp Pendelton. The light slowly cruised over the freeway at which time I noticed it was composed of 4 roughly faceted egg shaped objects in a very tight diamond formation. Immediately, I suspected a helicopter of some sort, since they often cruise the highway to observe traffic or Marine helicopters out and about. The configuration did not register as a helicopter or any other conventional aircraft. What was observed were the 4 egg shaped objects bobbing up and down with respect to each. The altitude was low, less than 1000 feet. This estimate was due to the fact of the clarity of the surfaces reflecting the sun and the object's sharp outline against the clear sky. They appeared to be strongly metallic colored ranging from gray to black to strong sun reflection. Each one was alternating in these colors and reflections on different parts which also supported my estimation this was not a single craft. I followed them as they crossed my field of view high in my windshield until lost from sight as they flew overhead. I didn't hear any typical aircraft sound. There were many cars around me as I stuck my hand out of the window and pointed up. Someone else must have seen it too. After a short time I decided to look into my rear view mirrors and I was then able to see them once again in the same tight formation on the West side of the freeway directly over the city of Oceanside. I am hoping others who had seen this will report it since it was so easily viewed. Perhaps there is a logical explanation since it was so close to a major Marine base.

Two objects appeared to my South West very bright. When the lights dimmed, I saw a triangular shaped objects with color lights.

The incident occured on November 26th, 2002 at 9:58 pm. I lived at the time in a beach Condo in Oceanside, California. I was alerted by my security light going on down below my beach condo which is on the beach. I went out onto my deck and could not see any person or thing that triggered the security light. It was a clear night full of stars. I was attracted to a brilliant bright light about 35 degrees to the South West out approximately 2,000 yard out over the beach. All I could see at the moment was the bright light. At first I thought it was a star but then realized it was too large and too close. It hovered for a few minutes then started to dim. As it dimmed I could see all kinds of colored light eminating out from the center. As it dimmed I could see a diamond shape object that immediately took off directly to the West over the ocean. A few seconds it returned and then I saw two objects the same size and brillience. I grabbed my digital camera and started to take pictues. I then grabbed my 35mm Cannon and took the remaining pictues on the roll. The second object seemed to dissapear and the first object staged stationary for the remaining of the 35 minute period. The last object then dimmed, I saw the color triangle and it just took off at an angle and dissapeared to the West. The size of the triangle object appeared to be the size of a full moon from my vantage point.

The next morning I talked to a contractor friend building a home next to mine. He told me he was out flying in his Cessna 174 around the same time the previous night and said the object headed directly for him and caused him to dive down to the ocean level and return to the Oceanside Airport.

I sent the digital pictures to a company in Irvine to be analyzed. I was amazed to see the color triangle and a what appeared to be a beam of light from the object to the ocean. I developed the 35mm pictures but there was nothing but a bright light image on about six pictures. I sent them off to Irvine and I was told that the same light eminating from the object to the ocean appeared to hit the lense of my 35mm camera. No specific images on the 35mm pictures could be ascertained.

Immediately after the incident I had a significant headache for about three days. No other reactions have been noticed. The object did reappear about two weeks later for an a few moments late one night.

I and my wife had wittnessed object on two occasions in the previous month. One while driving down High-way 1 from Monterey and the other driving back from Reno, Nevada near the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

There was a weird object, in the sky for around an hour and a half. The object seemed to be stationary but towards the last 20 minutes it slowely moved. The object, had 4 lights, 2 on top and 2 on the bottom, and changed colors, from red and blue to green. It looked to be moving in a circular constant, while changing colors every second, almost as if it was exploding or a star that imploded.

REPORT OF FOREIGN/UNIDENTIFIED AIRCRAFT: UNUSUAL AIRCRAFT OBSERVED OVER CAMP PENDLETON. JANUARY 26, 2001. To: Department of Defense Re: Marine Base Camp Pendleton. United States Marine Corps. Dear Sirs and To Whom It May Concern, Please indulge this report from a former Marine regarding what I believe to be the most astonishing visual sight you can imagine. On Sunday morning, January 20, 2001 at 0130 hours I made the following observation from my own backyard that borders the San Luis Rey Riverbed on the South side. This is directly South of Camp Pendleton. The river-bed is 10 feet from my backyard and goes West to East. I noticed an unusual aircraft coming East from the coastline, directly over the river-bed. At first I could not process what I was looking at. It continued toward me at approximately 25 mph and 300 feet above the ground. This vehicle was illuminated occasionally by street lights and headlights of cars on the road nearby as it slowly headed past my back fence. Personal Visual Report Following: 1/26/01 by ((personal data deleted)). 24/7 Unknown Air Vehicle Identifiers By Sighting: This aircraft is approximately 50-60 feet in diameter and shaped exactly like a tall slice of pie. It was of equal dimensions on all three sides and these sides were 15 feet high. There was no lighting, no visible ports or venting. The color was dark (amphibian) green with black splotches. THE FORWARD POINT OF THIS "PIE" WAS ALSO THE FORWARD-DIRECTED SECTION. This color scheme is nearly (if not) identical to a large tropical frog. The backside was black-framed with black paneling and exuded no light or visible exhaust whatsoever. The underside of this aircraft was flat (as were all the sides) and had two large white pods (looked like tap lights you see on TV) and each was 10-12 feet in diameter. They were located where you might expect landing gear to be placed. This aircraft rumbled as it went by in a very hushed tone. It sounded like a jet engine encased in a steel room with no porting or exhaust sounds. The ground slightly shook. Perhaps it sounded like a reactor core, utterly encased, strong with no venting. This vehicle floated at 25 mph over my house and was in my plain sight for over 30 seconds. I got a very good look at it. It made no effort to conceal itself except by color and no use of lighting. The 25mph speed was constant and level at 300 feet as this aircraft followed the San Luis Rey River-bed East and beyond my sight. I also want to tell you that I have been observing the skies over Camp Pendleton since last Sunday. There are several things I have seen that defy explanation and current (public-known) technology. I have seen white dots evade your helicopters and also follow your helicopters very closely. These white dots seem to duck-and-cover when an aircraft is coming toward them. They seem quite bold and brazen when the aircraft is heading away and has no visual view behind them. I have seen these white dots follow your helicopters very closely. It appears to be a game of hide and seek. The more helicopters you have in the air at once, like January 24th at 2100 hours, the more visible this activity is. Your flights seem to stir these white dots up and cause them to "blow cover" and start evading. I strongly recommend the following operation to document this nocturnal activity over and near Camp Pendleton. Recommendations for Video-Recording UFO Events: 1) Have an Audio-Visual platoon set-up an Observation (OP) station on very high ground with a 360 degree view. They must be in a location that is very dark with no street or vehicle lights to diminish human night-vision.. Use telescopic and panoramic lens on digital video recorders using strong and stable tripods. 2) Have these video-crews scan the skies for one week, all night. Have them take visual note of civil aircraft. Have them follow the civil aircraft through the sky with the video lens. Have them watch with their finger on the RECORD button the entire time. Watch for lights moving ahead of these aircraft or behind them in close proximity. 3) Notice lights in the sky that appear stationary or cosmic. Some of these lights will move away suddenly and very fast if an aircraft comes between them and the ground. These white dots sometimes leave trails of light when they move abruptly. These white lights tend to flash at times or go entirely blacked-out at other times. The movement can be from one quadrant of the sky to another in mere seconds. If you can arrange this kind of video-observation operation, or I should say, If you choose to do this, you will eventually get good video tape of UFO aircraft activity right over our heads. What I have seem so far defies explanation. Your own video-tape can then be analyzed by your experts. I am available for polygraph or Sworn Affidavit if so requested. First off, I apologize for the length of the "report" however, it took quite sometime for me to actually be interested enough to find out where/how to make a report. Mainly, I have heard many stories in my life of ghosts and UFO's. I'm not one to believe everything I hear. Until recently, that's been my view. So, skeptic?, absolutely, believer?, still working on that one.

Here is my past, I've been in the Marine Corps for nine years and 8 months. I am an operator of a type of Amphibious Assault Vehicle. Google: AAV for more information. Deployed to the Asias, Iraq and several Floats (stationed aboard Navy Ships). During these times, I have literally flown in every single type of helicopter that can carry a human being, CH (Cargo Helicopter). Due to my type of "Job", I have come into contact with most AH (Attack Helicopter)types. Reason why I'm saying this is, I know how they sound. It's kind of a show-off technique that I can name most Helo's by the sounds of their rotors. Each one, each type, each speed approximately can be relatively determined by the the sound of the rotors and how many rotors they have. I can also fairly judge the distance and estimate where and abouts their "buddy" is, since no single helo can fly alone, there is always a buddy located nearby.

Also, I know what loud vehicles sound like, sounds can identify many things without seeing them. My times in Iraq fine-tuned my ability to identify sounds, especially while on patrol. All this being said, here is my account of what I have seen and heard of through my military career.

During MCT (Marine Combat Training), approximately 15101999 0200, we experienced an earthquake. My instructor was livid in the morning, his truck which he had parked off the side of the road was rattled off the cliff. Yes, a cliff. You can imagine the pain we experienced that morning, he was quite mad. Later on that evening, the instructors were commenting on the report given by the firewatch during that time. Apparently, a helo came hovering by at a rapid speed. When asked how fast, "it was fast" was given the answer. Now consider, the Marine was probably 18 and never exposed to such things until then. So "fast" in Marine terms: It was flying at ridiculous speed. I know, I was young once too and would have said the same thing. Also, he said it made weird sounds and was close enough he could have thrown a rock at it before it dipped into the valley. Camp pendleton has numerous valley and hills.

Later that day, when asked, no one felt the earthquake and still, no one has really been able to explain how the instructors truck was pushed off a cliff sideways, when nothing else moved nearby. I would think that if a truck could be rattled and shaken enough to move it sideways, things around us, such as ourselves since we slept on isomats on the ground would have moved also. I think I would have awoken when I felt another man pressed up against me! At the time and still to this day, it's a funny as hell story. Looking back though, it's always intrigued me just how...odd it really sounds.

Next account, jets don't fly over pendleton unless it's when the President or another very high staff member comes to pendleton. Due to the runways limited size here, it's a helicopter Air Wing, few planes land on the runway. Mainly small jet type passenger planes. So, when something flies over your car, on Basilone road, at the speed of a jet, you take notice. Especially when it's about a hundred feet over your car. Basilone road is a road that cuts through base from I-5 to vandergrift rd. A very long and lonely stretch of road at 2 am in the morning. That's what time I was Designated Driver to 2 friends coming back from the bar. This was around Christmas time the same year as the one account prior to this one, 1999.

Next account, a close friend borrowed my car to go see his girlfriend in San Clemente. The drive from Oceanside to San Clemente is about 20-25 minutes on the I-5. When he came back that night to give me my keys, he said the strangest thing happened, a bright green ball of light flew along the coast, up and over the car, then headed back over to the coast, the entire time heading in a northerly direction. He said it flew way faster than a helicopter and when it was about 1000 meters off to the side and in front of him, the thing just "took off". Faster than he had ever seen anything go. His girlfriend, now wife, said exactly the same thing and she was "totally freaked out". On a side note, the stretch of highway has few lights where this happened. What lights there are, do not reflect green off your windows. That was my first assumption until driving down the same highway several times over the years, at different times, and I have NEVER seen any type of green light reflection. Only yellow or white.

In Okinawa, Camp Schwab, I was snorkeling with several friends at Naha island, about 1000 meters from shore. I'm sure Naha Island is not the actual name, just our name for it. Naha means south. There is an area on this island where it's covered and is quite cozy and perfect to have a sort of camp fire party. In other words, it's canopied and we could have a fire and get very, very drunk without anyone seeing us or caring to swim out there to investigate.

Around midnight, some of us went to the closest cliff to "relieve ourselves". The cliff faced away from base. While, doing this, one of my buddies who was apparently gazing up at the stars in a slight stupor, pointed out, "Holy shit man, you see that?" Yes, that is exactly what he said, still funny to this day. We all looked up and about 2000-4000 meters above us, It's sort of hard to judge distance slightly intoxicated, there were three lights spinning but not spinning...it was like they were rotating about 45 degrees and back again but 75 degrees that time. Thinking about it now, I don't think it was rotating as in parallel to the ground but was an illusion. I think now that it was more or less tilting in different directions. What ever it was, if the lights were separate craft, I have never seen helo's do that in such perfect unison. Odd thing was, it didn't just "shoot off", it moved slowly away from base, over the ocean until it was gone.

Next account, flying back from Okinawa a few years later, around 2003, I looked out the window of the plane and saw several objects off to our left moving the opposite direction of us. Probably around a mile. Could have been planes. They had to have been larger than C-130's and were definitely not passenger planes, unless they fly escort for one another. Reason why I know they weren't C-130's, they were large. Huge would be a better adjective. While in Iraq, I did see a Hercules plane. That was about how big those craft were. Could have been that but still, I'm pretty sure I would have been able to see the shape of the wings. Those planes are massive. Either way, I thought I would include this one since it is a iffy situation.

Next account, Al Anbar Province, Iraq. I was on a night raid in a village in Bubaydah. I'm sure that spelling is incorrect. I was in the turrent of a Humvee. My LtCol asked me what the hell are those Helo's doing here. This was a very important operation, Helo's do not fly close to a "snatch and grab" for obvious reasons. My captain got on the hook and radio'ed whoever it is they radio to find out who and why someone was compromising our mission. Radio reply was they didn't know but be advised, jets are inbound. Bebeydah is very very close to the Syrian border, cause for alarm was very just. I was watching the light for about 5-10 minutes. During that specific time, it just sort of moved around, like it was searching for something. It was about 5 miles distant, 1000 meters altitude. It was bobbing and weaving. Acting much the way a Helo would during a sweep mission. Then I noticed, where is his buddy? If it was a Cobra, a Huey would be flying at a higher altitude and a little distance. If it was a "Huey, then the cobra should have been able to be seen around it. Cobras are difficult to see unless their light is facing you and at that distance, it would have to face us for us to see it. It could have been there. That's what I was thinking. When the jets arrived, thankfully not over the city, they closed in on the Helo. I swear to this day, I saw them shoot rockets at it. I saw four contrails following the glow of four rockets headed straight for it. I know what rockets look like at night, you can see the smoke through the burn of the rocket, it lights it up, hard to explain typing but, I know what a rocket looks like. When those rockets got close to the Helo, they just lost power and fell. Still moving forward, I'm sure of that, inertia and all but, it was the craziest thing I have ever seen, the burners just stopped, when that happens, usually an explosion can be seen, not this time. They just winked out. When this happened they were about 3 miles away. The Helo, and I'm calling it that because, it could! have be en at this point, started chasing one of the jets. Not really chasing it because it would fly in front of it, behind and then under it. I then realized, this wasn't a helo. Helo's don't fly as fast as a jet, especially maneuvering like that. Common sense does replace rationality eventually. After about 3 minutes of this "taunting" it flew off. Simple as that, no explosions, only sound was the jets. Eventually, they took off back to where they came from. This occured in 2006.

So, that's my experiences. I have heard of many many more. Specifically the lights that follow you and pass you on the I-5 going to LA. I've heard probably 10-20 accounts of that. As I said, I'm a skeptic. Not really one to accept an explanation without hard facts but, I also know, if the facts don't add up, then how do you explain it? I've seen some odd things and usually at the time, I blow it off. The incident in Iraq pretty much made me reassess those situations that I kind of didn't really care about the first time. Thinking back, I should have looked a little closer and took notes a little better. So, I think you should possibly check into sightings over Camp Pendleton, especially along the coast. On another side note, my fiance was telling me about how she saw a craft rise out of the ocean from her house. She on the other hand, fully believes in greys, white's or blues, whatever color they are referred to as. She is a conspirasist to the utmost degree. Needless to say, I really don't take her seriously, but, she apparently has seen some things while living in Carlsbad that she explains as UFO's. She also said something about Illinois but I hate to say, I kind of tune her out after awhile.

Bright, fire-like object streaked from west to east in a level, horizonal attitude at a speed that took approximately 10 seconds to cover the sky from west to east before disappearing into some low cumulus clouds.

At approximately 7:15 p.m. on Sept. 10, 1998, a group of Oceanside Chamber of Commerce members were just concluding a sundowner mixer when this object was observed. Appropriately enough, we were out at the Oceanside Municipal Airport and there were about 20 or so adults, including a couple of elected city councilmembers, standing around chatting, getting ready to leave the venue when I spotted what I thought at first was a cheap skyrocket. I thought this because of the sparks and firey trail coming out from behind. The object was moving at a high rate of speed, but maintaining a level flight in a direct westerly to east path. I had enough time to realize that this was not a meteor or a skyrocket and something unusual. I shouted to everyone, pointing up to the sky. Everyone was able to watch this object travel east into a bank of light clouds. It didn't look that high, but the next day I read in the San Diego Union that the same object had been observed by people as far away as north of Los Angeles. What makes me write this report nearly three weeks after the fact was hearing Peter on Art Bell's program tonight (09/24/98). At approximately 10:15 p.m., Peter played a tape recording of a woman reporting this exact same object that she saw as she traveled on State Highway 18 toward Lake Arrowhead in the San Bernardino Mountains. She claimed it flew directly over her...she said it was at 7:15 p.m. This definitely was not a meteor, as most so-called officials have explained. I am a 30-year veteran of journalism, a daily columnist for the North County Times, (circulation 96,000), which covers northern San Diego County. This makes the second time I have observed a UFO in the presence of community leaders. I've written about it both times and have received phone calls from readers acknowledging what I saw.

Summary : What appeared to be a slow-burning, orange-colored object was slowly "floating" in a northernly direction directly over the beach just south of the city boat harbor. Six of us noticed it from a balcony at a party. I am a working daily journalist. With me were two Oceanside city council members. This object "floated" north for about two or three minutes, then stopped. After about a minute or so, it began moving back south-southwest over the water. Altitude was hard to determine, but it appeared to be climbing, albeit ever-so slowly. At one point, a small "spark" like object slowly fell from the main object. Through biconculars I was able to see four (4) distinct lights in a diamond shape. This object slowly faded from sight directly above our city's Pier. I honestly thought it was a balloon someone had set afire and let drift, but it wouldn't have burned that long and, because of our off-shore breeze, which was slight that night blowing inland, no balloon would have drifted p!arallel against the wind, then reverse course. Yes, we were at a party. No, no one was drunk. In fact, at least two of the people had nothing to drink.

One object.Orange (as in fire) in color.At first appeared to be burning.Binocs revealed four (4) distinct lights.Object "floated" slowly at about a speed of 20 to 40 knots in a northernly direction over the California coastline near the city harbor of Oceanside.Speed was tough to determine because altitude appeared to be at about 500 to 600 feet. But the longer watched, the more it seemed to be gaining in altitude.Altitude: 500 to 600 feet.A second object "drifted" off to the southeast for about what seemed to be a short distance, as if it were a spark falling away, but then it seemed to hover in mid-air.Observers:1. UFO SAUCER SHAPE SEEN HOVERING ON TOP OCEANSIDE ELEMETARY SCHOOL

I was 6-7 years old I was sitting in back seat as we drove by the school. I was blinded by a glare when I turned towards it I saw the saucer shaped ufo it was hovering on top of the school It was the length of 2 school busses the center was not spinning but the outer ring was spinning it had marking but I cannot remember what kind but it was moving in a weird circle motion it was like 8-10 stories off the school roof but it did not make any noise when I asked my parents if they knew what that was both of them we're suprised my dad could not see it clearly since he needed glasses to see to get a better view he turn the car around but the ufo started gliding going towards the mountains as we saw it again it was very very far away it had reach the mountains we could no longer see it clearly.

A space shuttle like craft

I lived on a dead end street and at the end of the street is a white waist high fence, and on the other side is a man mad drop of made of concrete and flowers, and at the bottom is a street. On my street are apartments on both sides kinda like an ally. The street is about 30 to 50 feet wide, and the apartments are two story. ok, now what happen was i walked out of my house down the stairs and onto the street. I then made a right turn and began to walk to my friends house, the next apartment over up stairs - same building,and as I began to turn right and walk up his stairs something caught my eye to the right of me. I stopped to look at it, and it looked like a space shuttle maybe around 100 to 200 hundred feet... maybe up in the sky right smack dab in between the apartments. It wasn't making any sound, it was moving towards me at about maybe 5 mph and had a grey glow, but not light, just bright grey color, and not from the street lights... my street doesn't have any, just building lights. I think i must have walked under it as i walked out of my house and onto the street, it was very close!!! I then ran up my friends stairs and pounded on his door, it took him what felt like forever to answer, but when he did i got him and his brother to come outside to look... but it was gone. All we could see was blinking lights off in the distance from plains like you do any other night. I don't know what i saw, I really wish I knew. I live next to a military base, so maybe they have something to do with it... I don't know. It sounds funny... a space shuttle looking craft, but thats what I saw.

At first it was 2 lights, separate, but moving together. They both faded out, 1 lit up again. It was orange and the light was pulsing. It faded, and came back on again. This happened 3 times and I have video of the event.
