A metallic oval with bright white light in and out of cloud bank

A metallic oval shaped object with white light slowly moved between two cloud banks it moved down about five hundred feet then it went slightly faster horizontally about two thousand feet north then slowly up about five to eight hundred feet and disappeared behind thick clouds shortly after that two jets went through the same area and continued on east looked like commercial aircraft after replaying event over and over I can't explain craft movements very confusing still a little freaked out by the whole thing

Bright orange lights moving very fast

I live in central NY (ovid, ny), half hour north of Ithaca NY. Last night at 10:15 a series of very bright orange lights moved very quickly from east to west about 35 degrees above the horizon. They did not blink, they all moved at about the same very fast speed. There were a total of four and I could see three at one time, two pretty close to each other from my vantage point. There was no noise whatsoever. They came from the east and when approx in front of me either faded or moved south - either would appear the same to me. The tree line blocked them from time to time. I did take a video but all you can see are orange dots (when I optically zoomed the dots became disks though blurry and I could not hold the camera steady especially at that setting)

it stopped and much quicker began to go the opposite direction suddenly plummeted toward the ground shot back up to where it was before

I am a teacher. I saw a cigar shaped ufo while on a hike with my children 20 years ago and have been watching the sky ever since.

I once reported a ufo event witnessed by myself and strangers who all stopped our cars on a highway to watch what was going on. I called the police and was directed to call the airforce and they took my information. This event was about ten years ago. My son and I were returning videos in the next town and driving home. We saw a very bright green flash of light like a sudden explosion lasting about 15 seconds (or something hitting the atmosphere like a meteor, there was a loud boom). I stopped the vehicle and pulled over. I was concerned that there was some type of chemical explosion as there are old military facilities close by, and I was relatively new to the area. An elderly gentleman in a Lincoln Town car pulled over and asked if we saw "that". We watched the sky as it glowed green along the horizon for a while and faded. Soon a helicopter flew over and shined a very bright light on to us as we just watched. It quickly went away. The only other interesting par! t was three dim yellowish lights appeared in the direction behind us (over Ithaca, NY). They just sat there high above the city about the same width apart (many miles apart) not moving (arranged in a straight line, not a triangle or other popularly reported shape) until they slowly just became smaller and blinked out...gone. So we went home where I called the police.

Tonight, my dog was growling at a skunk or something so I looked out the screen door. I saw one of the many bright points of light in the sky begin to move. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me as it was subtle at first. I thought maybe it was a satelite as we see them move regularly. However, this one was different. It was very very far away so I could only see a point of light. It was above the lake in the direction of Cortland, NY. I decided to report it as it's movements were clearly different than the usual. It moved very slowly (almost undetectable if you weren't staring at it closely) in the direction toward Ithaca, NY. Then, and here is where I became interested, it stopped and much quicker began to go the opposite direction (the direction it had just come from). It did not turn, loop or stray from the line it had been in, it simply went backwards. It did this for a short time to about the same place it had started (or as I had noticed it) and sudde! nly plummeted toward the ground so quickly that it blurred with a streak. My logical brain said oh, see, it was a meteor until it stopped suddenly and shot back up to where it was before. My logical brain does not think meteors do that. I watched it for a very few minutes (maybe 7 all total). It moved around slowly now toward Seneca Falls, NY. It made an interesting loop like it was going back toward Ithaca but continued the loop back toward Seneca Falls and I lost sight of it from the trees.

I saw an almost identical event as the one I just described several years ago as I was out on my lawn watching the fireworks over the lake. At that time, the point of light was larger and moved impossibly fast zipping around this way and that until it flew away straight up and away.

This is not a popular topic among sane normal everyday working people. So, I appreciate the opportunity to share this information. Thank you

Sphere shaped object flying at an incredible speed during the day

My sister and I were visiting our Mom on Halloween day at around 3:00 pm. It was an absolutely beautiful fall day with no clouds in the sky.

As we were in the front yard we were asking our little sister (who is 3 years old), if she could see a plane (it was a Northwest Airlines 747 because it was low enough that you could see the red on the tail) that was flying into the airport in Flint, MI about 40 miles to the east. As we watched the airplane, my sister asked, "Do you see that thing above the airplane?"

I looked around the plane and then finally I picked out what she was talking about. It looked like a metallic sphere that was flying at an incredible speed to the north. It was much higher in the sky than the airplane, and was traveling at a much greater speed. All we could see was this sphere that reflected light sometimes as it traveled northwards.

We watched the craft for anywhere from 10-15 seconds before it eventually disappeared out of view. Then my sister claims that she could see a second metallic object identical to the one we both saw, but I never was able to see it.

My sister and I both looked at each other and immediately agreed that there was no way that was a plane. There was no way it was a satellite, helicopter or a blimp. This was an object like I have never seen before. I am very interested in a UFO and go sky watching at night many times, but I’ve never claimed to have seen a UFO before. This is the first time I can honestly say that I can not identify the object, so it IS a UFO by very definition. In no way am I jumping to conclusions and saying that it was an alien spacecraft. All I am saying is that it was an incredible event that I won’t soon forget.

A quick background of my sister and me would prove to be very normal. My sister is a certified elementary teacher and I am a full time college student in pursuit of my degree in elementary education. We both are interested in UFO’s but both of us claim to have never seen anything that could be called a UFO in our lives, until yesterday.

3 spherical object formationwatched in night sky.

While home on leave from the service, my parents and brother and I were returning from my grandmothers house. We were traveling on a paved road which for the most part was free of traffic. We passed maybe one car before the incident. The night sky was clear of clouds and spotted with stars. I do not recall the moon cycle at the time, but I believe it was a sliver. It all began when we were just having a conversation about the evenings visit and dinner. I was just admiring the stars out the mini vans window when I noticed something catch my eye. It was postioned to my right of the vehicle in the sky. The object was spherical and a deep blue color. At first I thought it was a plane light but i'd never seen a plane light that dark before. I quickly told my dad who glanced over as did the whole family. The object remained almost even with our vehicle. In this I mean it never traveled out of our line of sight. My dad slowed a little and my mom put down her window to make sure it wasnt a relection. After viewing the object for a couple of minutes it was my mother who stated that she something on the drivers side of the vehicle this time. In the night sky on the opposite sid eof the road was a similar object but this one was dark red. The light from these vehicles didnt pulse, didnt blink, but were constant the whole time. It was at this time that I felt a sense of awe and unbelief. Both objects kept up the same distance and speed with each other. It appeared that each was just smoothly traveling as we were. After taking in both objects, for some reason I leaned forward to look up higher and was stuned by what I saw. I pointed out an off white spherical shape positioned above the road. This would put the lights in a triangular formation. After watching them for about 3 minutes the red and blue lights lifted even with the white light. The two outside lights began to draw in towards the white light and they appeared to change position on the opposite side of the road. After this the lights then d! rew closer so they were almost side by side. They then increased thier traveling speed and quickly flew off into the night sky. It was also at that time that we came into an area with a large number of trees that obscured the objects departure.

UFO stopped in the sky, then completed stops to form perfect rectangle and back into outer space to fast for human eye, light speed.

In 1974 with a bright clear sky, me, my brother and 2 other friends watched a light zip in and stop above us in the sky. It then in a blink of an eye shot straight across the sky and stopped. It then dropped straight down in a blink of an eye. From there it shot back across the sky and stopped directly under where it first stopped. It then shot straight up to complete a perfect rectangle. From that point is shot back out into outer space so fast that you could barely see the light trail from where it left.

I would say this object was moving at the speed of light. The human eye could not follow it from point to point. These points were not close; they covered a wide area in the sky.

It turned out that my oldest brother and a couple his friends witnessed the same thing from a different part of town.

I swear to God there is nothing on earth that can move as fast as this object did. And the fact that it formed a perfect rectangle proves to me we are not alone.

I guarantee that every one of us that seen this will be able to pass any lie detector test you want to shove at us. Just an amazing sight.

I saw two silver/gray objects of different shapes.

I was 4 years old and living on my grandparent's farm in a mobile home situated next to the driveway. At the end of the driveway was a barn. It was in the early morning while my parents were still asleep I climbed up on a dresser to look out the window. I saw two objects sitting in mid-air next to the barn roof. The two of them together were the same size as the barn. The closest one was shaped like a disk with a round ball in the middle of the top. The other one was shaped like a top. There were no lights or markings on either. They were silver/gray and not shiny. After I realized they didn't belong there I turned to call to my father, and when I turned back they were gone. Every time I see a picture of a top or the planet Saturn I am reminded of this childhood experience.
