Bright white light seen overhead traveling very fast southbound directly over I25. Object was being persued by blackhawk helicopter.

Myself and another passenger were heading southbound on I25 at 9:57 PM. Directly in front of my vehicle a bright oval light lit up the concrete of the highway in front of us. Looked light a police or news helicopter shining their spotlight on the ground in front of us and the light could be seen traveling southbound down the road traveling faster than we were at 65mph. As we looked up to the sky expecting a helicopter we see a bright orb, shining a very bright white, traveling very fast southbound directly over the highway. The object was approximately 400-600 feet high in the air. After 2 seconds a black hawk military helicopter appeared overhead persuing the white orb but it was traveling far slower than the orb. The helicopter had a bright light infront that appeared to be a spotlight and it had 1 blinking red light at its tail. After 3-4 seconds of both the orb and the helicopter being visible, the orb had been traveling far faster and then just vanished. It did not appear to change direction or accelerate, but the light just disappeared. The helicopter was still visible and about 5 seconds after the orb disappeared the helicopter veered off to the west and continued on in the southwest direction. After over 30-45 seconds of watching the helicopter it seemed to reach the area in which the orb disappeared giving us an idea of how much faster the orb was traveling than the helicopter.

There were few clouds in the sky at the time and there were planes that were visible up to 60 miles away traveling in the DIA area to give an idea of visibility. There were multiple vehicles around us so I suspect there were multiple people who saw this unfold. This was witnessed by myself and my girlfriend heading home after dinner.

Interviewed by investigator Dan Hall on 5-31-25

K (age 33) and his girlfriend (age 26) were traveling southbound on Interstate 25 on 5-19-25. K believes he was going 65mph. He believes that they were approaching the intersection of I-25 and the Weld County Highway near Johnstown, Colorado. The area was described as topographically flat composed of mostly farm land.The sky was cloudless

His attention was drawn to a light shining down on the road ahead. As he looked up, he saw what he described as a bright white light up in the sky that was orb shaped and about the size of an SUV. He realized that the light he had seen on the road came not from the orb, but was a spotlight coming from a helicopter that seemed to be pursuing the orb. The spotlight was on the front of the helicopter and there was a red light on the copter’s tail. No other markings were visible on the helicopter. K assumed it was a “black military vehicle” which came from a nearby air field in Greeley.

After about “3-4 seconds” of having both the orb and the helicopter in sight, the orb disappeared. A short time after the orb disappeared; the helicopter headed off to the southwest and was soon out of sight.

The witness says there were other cars on the road at the time of the sighting and the occupants of those cars must have witnessed what he did. A review of sighting reports made to NUFORC on the same date and within the state did not reveal that anyone saw what K saw, A review of Flight Radar for the area did not reveal any aircraft in the area at the time.

Upon request, the witness created an image with the following comment: "This is a good representation of what we saw that night. This depiction generated chat gpt from my report is about 75% accurate in regards to what we saw. Orientation of the helicopter is a little off and the quality of the orb is a little off but other than that it is as good as a depiction can get without an artist. "

Conclusion: The witness saw an anomalous object that was in the same space as a black helicopter which may have been following it. Without any more specifics on the helicopter, the term “black helicopter” takes on a stereotypical meaning” It is likely that others witnessed the same event, but there doesn’t seem to be additional reporting regarding the same event

Observed oblong-triangular shaped with 3 bright lights, one at each point hovering above. Object moved quickly right, stopped and hovered for about 20 seconds, then quickly returned to original position at the left. Hovered for about 15 seconds then moved off further left, picking up speed until lights dimmed and went out and eventually we could no longer see it. This took place while fireworks were going off all around so we could not hear or tell if the object emitted any sound. It did appear that there was a red light possibly beneath.

I was on break and looked at this cell tower as I smoked a cigarette then this started to happen for about 10 mins

The orb or light seemed to moving in ways normal technology today isn’t allowed to by physics I was smoking a cigarette on break and looked into the sky I spotted this and then shortly after ran back into my work to grab my phone off charge came back out to record what I just seen the orb on camera seems to be changing shapes but with my real eyes it seemed to be harnessing energy from the tower

Our family was outside watching for the Delta Aquarids and the Alpha Capricornids meteor shower. We live outside of Johnstown, Ohio and it was a very clear night. Our daughter was taking pictures of a bright object in the sky, which we thought was likely Saturn because of the outer ring in the picture. This picture was taken with a Samsung Galaxy S8+. This was the brightest and largest object (other than the moon) in the night sky, glowing a bright orange/yellow – different from the other stars. After looking at pictures of Saturn, we determined that this object looked nothing like the pictures we were seeing. It has appeared on a few more occasions since the night of the 28th.

Stationary object wth red and white blinking lights in the night time sky

At approximately 0035 hours, I went into my bathroom at home and did not turn the light on. I looked outside of the window and noticed to be what I thought a jet plane flying from West to East. It appeared to be flying at the same speed and altitude as a jet plane would normally fly. I thought nothing of it. It had blinking red and white lights on it, also typical of what a jet plane looked like in the night sky.

About a minute or 2 later, I looked up in the sky again. Right where I had just seen the “jet plane” flying, looked to be the same craft I had just seen. Only this time, it wasn’t moving.

I stood there looking out the window and up into the sky for the next 10 minutes.

The craft did not move at all. It was totally still with the same blinking red and white lights. I thought that maybe it was a helicopter, but they do not usually fly that high up in the air. I had to get up fairly early today, so I quit watching and went to bed.

For some reason, this has really been bothering me all day. I would like to add that I was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs when this sighting occurred.

Steadily flashing light traversed the sky at a rate similar to that of a meteor, making no sound.

I was out watching the meteor shower Sunday night. I saw what I thought at first was a dim, yellowish, short-lived meteor straight up (near Vega) tracking north-northwest, and I didn't think much of it.

I then saw a similar flash that looked like another small meteor but on the same trajectory as the first. I thought both of these were small dim meteors as they were moving across the sky at a speed consistent with a meteor (far faster than any satellite or plane that I've seen). I then saw a third fourth and fifth flash that spanned equally short distances of the sky on this trajectory (it appeared to vere slightly right during the fourth flash). The object traversed about 30 degrees of sky in about 5 seconds before going out of view. It made no sound.

My name is ((name deleted)) and I live in Cambria County, PA. Yesterday, 5/20/2018 sometime in the afternoon, I saw 3 objects very high in the sky. All three were different in appearance and color. But all three flew at the same speed and stayed in a triangular formation. From my perspective one looked red, another orange like, and the other one possibly silver or grayish. The red one looked like a sphere, and I can't recall what the other two were shaped like, I was drawn to their formation and the fact that all three were different than each other. What drew my attention was the odd roar that these objects made. Very loud for how high up they were.

At first I didn't see anything, and they sounded directly over head, but then a second later I saw them as they were about to exit my field of view. By the time I saw them it was too late to grab my cell phone. But I think they were too high anyway for a cell phone camera to see them clearly. They were traveling ea! stward, at the same speed, in tight formation. All three were different colors and different in shape to the others within their formation. They were at least as high as any commercial airliner. Higher than the cloud layer and flying fast. I'm eager to find out if someone else seen this formation and possibly knows for sure what they were or if they were of some other origin. I mean, I don't ever hear the jets that are leaving the chemtrails, but I sure heard these. And they were easily as high as that.

They weren't planes. I don't know what they were but I sure know what they weren't, and they weren't planes, or meteors. They were under intelligent control flying in a tight triangular formation towards the east.

At approximately 9:05 PM, on August 16, 2017, I observed two stationary red lights, directly west of my home in Johnstown. They were at about the 10 o’clock position and did not move; completely stationary for at least three minutes.

They were very distant and appeared as though they were above the mountain range to the west. There were aircraft on approach to DIA, but they were far closer and at lower altitudes. This object (side by side red lights) never moved in any direction.

I went inside to get my wife and when I returned 30-45 seconds later the object was gone.

Went to take the dog out one last time before bed. We were walking North. I was admiring the stars, it was a clear night, even though a storm was supposed to be rolling in later. All of a sudden I see this HUGE RED Pulsing orb in the sky. There was no noise. I don't know how else to explain it. It appeared out of no where, then faded into nothing. It only lasted a few seconds. I just shrugged it off as some weird lightning.

I told my husband when we got back in and he just looked at me funny. It was bugging me what I saw so did some Google searches, but came up with nothing. That is until I Googled, "UFO sightings in Ohio 2015," and came across the database, and noticed some similar stories. So decided to report mine as well. Thank you.

I was watching one ufo that looked like a little white light in the sky above me fly in a westwordly direction when a triangle shaped fire flew by going north i watched this object even got it on video it did not seem to change shape or size just kept getting further away and after another 2-3 minutes it did what i seen many ufos do and thats get small enough to the point where it vanishes.

After that i tryed looking for the first ufo but it was gone too. If that was a ufo it would explain why the white lights become red sometimes maybe they manipulate fire to help them fly like they can change from a white flame to a red or amber type color i just wish i knew what these things were.

Dull orange, non-blinking, light appearing in Northeast sky and then moving slowly until disappearing.

Nearly every Sunday, and on some other days less regularly, a dull orange, non-pulsating, light appears in the Northeast sky over Johnstown, PA. It appears suddenly and usually is fairly high in the sky when it appears. It moves slowly but generally predictably from Northeast to Southeast. Its movements are not consistent with any kind of aircraft and there are never any green or red blinking lights observed. It traces an irregular path and will, after 5-10 minutes, start to fade out and then reappear. It has also appeared, although much less often, in the Northwest sky. But when it does it follows the same pattern. It appears almost always between 2200 and 2230 hours on Sunday evenings. But it has appeared at some other times as well.

Orangish cigar shaped object moving irregularly, changed position in the sky over several hours

At 8:30pm, I went outside to smoke a pipe. It was a clear night out and the stars were visible, so I looked up to check out what stars were visible.

I observed an orange cigar shaped object directly above me, high up in the sky. It was moving about in a zig-zag pattern. I didn't think much of it and went inside when I finished my pipe. When I went out again around 11:30pm to smoke, again I observed the same object to the right of its original position, this time moving left to right, back and forth.

This time I called my step-father outside and he saw it as well. He had no explantion for what it was either. When he went to pick my mother up from work, he looked to see if it was still there and he said it was now off to the left in the sky, again moving in a left to right pattern and pointed it out to my mother.

Saw three large red orbs moving slowly above Johnstown that simply disappeared after changed colors a few times.

Originally saw one craft above Roxbury Park. It was large, bright red, round and moving slowly. It changed to white, light orange, red and white again. It seemed to shrink in size then just disappeared.

As we drove approximately a half mile to Shady Lane we witnessed two more moving together. Again bright red large circles. They moved together very slowly, changed colors, then slowly dissipated.

My brother and I had been walking outside of our apartment. Overhead, he and I picked up on at least 4 red/gold (perhaps orange) lit-up anomalies in the sky. They all appeared to be traveling in the same direction at set intervals, soaring by. It struck us both as unusual.

I jokingly said that perhaps it was North Korean/Chinese/USSR airplanes; a scouting party... to prepare for an invasion. He came up with something a little more realistic, perhaps they were memorial balloons, adrift in the night sky, honoring veterans or otherwise on Independence Day.

Regardless, they appeared alien. We see airplanes in the sky at night, most a lot higher than others. However, you know they're US planes with their red/blue lights... these were wholly different and there was a few of them. Worthy of alarm, at least in my opinion. I'm near-sighted, so, needless to say I couldn't see them as well as my brother, but, they were assuredly lit up and in red/gold or yellow-orange.

Flaming Fireball floats across night sky

I am submitting this report from Johnstown Pennsylvania, approx. 1 hour and 30 min northeast of Pittsburgh in the laurel highlands region. While listening to coast to coast am I was informed that there have been numerous sightings of strange floating and streaking fireballs in the sky across the US, and was stunned by this fact, as my family and I witnessed these strange objects in the evening sky three times.

The first event took place on June 13 at approx. 8:30 pm. My family and I were driving to our house which is located on one of the very high mountain peaks of the region when my step-Father pointed out a strange floating orange object in the dark evening sky. We were all instantly awestruck as to what this object could have been. We stopped the car dead on the road and continued to inspect the object in disbelief. It looked to be anywhere from 1000 to 1500 ft. in the air, and slowly floating in the opposite direction of the wind and cloud movement. It closely resembled a hot air balloon that had caught on fire and had no basket attached to it. The object was very large, entirely too big to be a Chinese lantern or any other ceremonial object. The strangest thing about the event is that the object was floating straight across the sky not up or down and was far below cloud cover and this very large flaming ball simply disappeared right in front of our eyes. That very same nigh! t and approx. 10:30 pm my wife and I were driving home from our parents’ house and once again witnessed this strange object in the jet black night sky. This was not the last of the occurrences however, three days later on Sunday June 16th we yet again witnessed this event take place at approx. 9: 30 pm.

Although I have spent countless hours researching what these fireballs could have been I am left with nothing but the fact that this has taken place all over the US and possibly the world.

I am a Veteran and had spent 4 years stationed on an airbase and have been in multiple combat zones and have never witnessed anything similar to this. My only conclusion is that it is supernatural or extraterrestrial.

At approximately 11:00 pm, on June 1st, a group of three (sober) people witnessed 2 unidentified glowing orange crafts slowly rising out of the horizon.

Light then went out, but object was still visible, with an orb-like aura escaping it.

Object then moved upward very fast, and shot out of site instantaneously.

3 Glowing orbs in triangle formation johnstown, PA

At approximately 21:50 pm on July 17th 2012 three objects in a Triangle formation rose up over the top of the mountain between the Galleria Mall and Johnstown, PA. The objects at first were very intense in color. There were 2 orange orbs and one red orb.

At first the objects seemed like they were all one massive entity. They were rotating in a clockwise direction and I would estimate the object to have been somewhere around 500 feet across.

As the object got well about the top of the mountain it started to move in a northerly direction. Not long after it began to move north is when I began to notice the object was actually 3 smaller objects flying in formation because they began to split up and moved from a triangle formation to a straight line. They were about 500 feet apart in a straight line and as this happened the lights started to get dim and for about 30 seconds they would disappear and reappear but only dimly until they finally vanished.

Fireball like object across Cambria county in Pennsylvania, US.

Single notably bright 'fireball' like circular/ball object through sky traveling from roughly directly west to directly east (give/take a few degrees), deep red center with white bordering light radius.

Effectively caused a slight glow or haze (aura?) around its main mass as it moved almost as if it was entering atmosphere or just moving fast at high altitude (No clouds in the sky for reflection that I could see, was a star filled night) There was some form of plane/airliner as well in the sky at a normal elevation I would guess near the object, yet the glow and 'size' of the object was effectively at least 7x larger and more notable) Thought it might just be some form of shooting star or debris until it made 4 roughly 90 degree looking movements, once to the south, then east, then north again, then continuing eastwards.

Was -no- sound from it, could not hear anything from the sky at all (no sounds of any planes/jets/etc) Could not see any changes/deviations of the light on the object, it stayed pure red at the center with it's white radius and the faint light/haze around it just flickered lightly as it moved straight across.

Lasted roughly 7 minutes, from one mountain side to the other (middle of a large valley town).

Bright Orange Ball of Light appeared suddenly

At approximately 11:22 PM, on June 24, 2012 a bright orange light suddenly appeared in the sky from the South. The day had been sunny and warm, with the temps in the high 80’s, that evening we had no breeze, it was very still. We had some light cloud cover from a “dry” cold front which was moving in sometime for early morning.

My husband and I were watching TV in our Family Room. I happen to look out and up and it appeared out of nowhere through the light, thin clouds, just above the roof of our house. Immediately I asked my husband if he’d seen it and told him, you’ve got to see this. I quickly jumped out of my chair, and ran out our front door, with my husband right behind me. It took us seconds, maybe 15 seconds at the most maybe, to get from the chair inside, out into the front yard. It had changed from taking a straight line North direction in between the time it took for us to get out into our front yard, by then it had had already taken a NE direction away from us toward Johnstown. It moved very quickly and appeared to be already halfway at a distance away from us.

It was a bright orange molten ball of light, glowing with orange energy waves which were pulsating from the top of it. A gas line exploded several years ago a little ways up on the main street we live off of, this object was just as bright or brighter orange than that, the evening the gas line exploded. My husband told me it appeared to be large to him. We never seen anything like it before. We knew everything it was not. It was not a meteor, it had no tail, it was not moving fast enough to be a meteor. It was not pulsating bright orange energy waves like a ”Chinese Lantern“ would. It was not a stationary star, a shooting star or a falling star, there was a half moon that evening and it was just starting to rise in the west. As it was moving away from us, it never made any noise, or sound, it was totally silent.

As we were watching this object heading ! away from us, there was a small plane in the sky at the same t! ime. We heard a small airplane which was heading toward us from the North moving in a Southerly direction, it had the normal appearance of an airplane with the white headlight and a blinking red~blue marking lights. It is very common and something we’ve become very familiar with from evening airplane traffic. We have constant airplane traffic both day and night, from private and commercial aircraft, going to and fro from Port Columbus. We watched the object until it disappeared. Our encounter lasted approximately 3-3 1/2 minutes

We saw an orange glowing  sphere rise above the tree line, it seemed to be flickering as if there was some kind of flame.

It hovered and moved vertically at first then started to rise very fast straight up until no longer visible.  I have never seen anything like it and I am glad that there was more witnesses than me because no one would have ever believed me.

Stationary light over ridge top, more appear then move away

Decided to look at the stars tonight, out on my buddy’s roof. We climbed up just looking at the stars for a while, our eyes adjusted. At about 12:15 I looked out to the Northwest, and noticed a single bright light, and signaled my buddy to look at it…I had seen the same thing several months before. A single bright, slightly off white, somewhat yellowed circular light hanging stationary above the ridge. We pretty much stared at it for a good 10-20 minutes, and it faded to a point, then blinked out.

Ten minutes later, we noticed it had come back in the same exact position – it remained there, slightly brighter, before blinking completely out instantly, not fading, just completely going dark, several seconds later it faded back, then flashed out completely. Another few minutes passed without any event, then one light came into existence, slightly smaller than the original, but just to the left of the position of the original light, shortly after, a light of the original intensity came back, in the same exact position it had been the entire time.

Then they both flickered out, then back once – they’d moved in a Northwardly direction- right of their original positions. They blinked out again, and reappeared slightly more to the right. The third time they reappeared, they didn’t blink off again, sliding slowly to the right, and down toward the ridge, behind a cell tower, before disappearing completely.

For reference: We’re both freshman at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. I, a Geology major, and he, in civil engineering. We were completely sober during this even.

strange flashing colored lights over johnstown pa

started with dimming electricity in houses. proceeded to large broad flashing lights coming through clouds in sky above neighborhood. could not see origin of lights due to heavy cloud cover. strobe-like flashing in different colors all over neighborhood and constant dimmng of house lights and electricity. two episodes from 11:30 pm to midnight. however, talked to others who saw lights around 9:30 pm. very scary. witnessed by several neighbors and friends. dimming of electricity started in different areas at different times that evening covering at least a 15 mile radius. no sound at all. just light wind blowing and heavy cloud cover. color pattern of lights from blue, green, purple, pink to red. lights were seen at different areas at different times. was not explained by any military, weather or news source.

Bright, orange (oval shaped) object over Johnstown, PA, flys for short period then remains stationary in sky for over 30+min

On Monday May 26, 2010, my girlfriend and two children ( my oldest being 6 and youngest 2) decided to go get ice cream at a local creamery ,located at Roxbury park, in a section of Johnstown known as Roxbury. After we got ice cream we proceeded to sit at some benches at the perimeter of the park and eat each of our ice cream desserts there.

As we were beginning to eat the dessert My daughter (age 6) asked me , “what is that light in the sky Papa?” I took a look in the direction that she was pointing and noticed a very bright object approaching from a distance (It came from the direction of Westmont, another suburb of Johnstown) towards the direction where we were standing. (Note: The four of us were not the only ones out at this time of night. There was another family, eating their ice cream desserts beside us as well. They did not seem to be paying attention to what we were looking at) My initial answer to my daughter’s question was that the object was a helicopter, possibly with a spotlight on. I mentioned the spotlight, as the light the object was emitting was extremely bright, orange, and looked like what you would see, if looking at a spotlight head from a distance. I stated to her that the helicopter was probably coming in for a landing at the local hospital (Conemaugh hospital).

As I continued to observe the object, it came to a gradual stop. (Note: as it approached our location, it did not “fly” very fast at all, which led me to believe it was a helicopter) We continued to watch the object and as time past, I came to the realization that it was not a conventional aircraft. The object remained stationary for a period of 30 minutes or more. (The length of time we were at the location eating our ice cream).

I became perplexed as to what this object could be. It was a pretty clear night, and many stars were visible. This object however was in our atmosphere, much brighter then even the north star, or planet such as Venus, and after having seen it move initially, it remained stationary for an extended period of time.

My girlfriend mentioned at some point during this event, that there was in fact quite a bit of “aerial” activity in the vicinity of this object. We both notice several smaller aircraft flying in what I call "an observation flight path" at various locations in the sky near to each other and in the direction of the object.

I will say that after looking at the smaller aircraft for some time, and following their flight paths, At least one of the aircraft came to complete stop mid air and seemed to be observing the object that I am reporting on. The smaller aircraft looked to be a “conventional aircraft”, as it had both white and red blinking lights. The only abnormal behavior that this small aircraft exhibited was the “hovering” maneuver it was able to do when “observing” the bright object.

I will mention that I was able to take some photographs and video footage of this event with my smart phone. As you may already know, the quality of this media is not very good. I also do not have flash on the camera, which definitely did not help my cause in attempting to capture good footage for the purpose of evidence. You are welcome to this footage if you so desire.

After at least 30 minutes of observing the object, I packed the family in the car and took them home. After being home for about 20 minutes, I decided I needed to go back to the location where I saw the object and ensure that what I saw was indeed not a star or planet. When I arrived at the exact location I had initially seen the object, it was no longer there. There was no aerial traffic either. The skies remained clear of clouds, allowing me to see the stars. This object was most definitely not a star or planet.

Bright light spotted in sky

I was awaken just after 6AM, and looked out the sliding glass doors, presumably facing east. A bright light in the sky caught my eye, which at first looked like a regular star, but it was awfully bright and it would flash every 10-15 seconds. It was already starting to turn daylight at the time of this sighting, plus I can't recall seeing any clouds (it was mostly clear all night long with distant visibility) that might've hindered this light. I shall add that there were trees outside, but quickly concluded that the trees were not causing the flashing, as I witnessed this light flashing without the branches blocking the view.

To clarify location of sighting, it is located about 7 miles north of Johnstown and about a mile south of U.S. Route 22. There is also a small airport about 10 miles southeast, but I doubt it was a plane, the light was stationary too long.

One bright light 2 times brighter than any planet or star in the sky was following a commercial airliner in an east-northeast path across the cloudless sky. The object stayed behind (about 1 mile) and to the right or south of the airliner. The object was so bright, that after the airliner disappeared in the horizon, the object could still be seen. I have seen this same object in 1960, 1984 and now in 2008. The previous objects made a low humming sound as they passed overhead. This object did not pass overhead, it was to the south of my position, and so I don't know if it made the same sound or not.

My Report to the UFO Website October 6, 2007 5:45 a.m. Central Approximately Three Miles West of Johnstown, Nebraska On October 6, 2007, I was driving to Wayne, Nebraska, for a meeting, and I wasn’t sure if I had allowed enough time. I was in a hurry. It was about 5:45 a.m.Central Daylight. I was traveling from Valentine, Nebraska. The meeting registration was at 9:30 with the meeting to begin at 10:00. I’m including this piece of information because it did have a small part in my actions at the end of this story, I believe.

I was traveling on Highway 20 approximately two to three miles west of Johnstown, Nebraska, just a very short distance west of Plum Creek. (less than a mile, I approximate) It was dark and I was watching for deer, porcupine, etc, yet, trying to keep aware of the time and my schedule. The stars were out. All of a sudden there is a flying object coming parallel to the road in the opposite direction I was traveling, just clearing the trees. In other words, it came from the other direction and was just beyond the fence line on the opposite side of the road. It was flying pretty low to the ground, yet, high enough that I was thinking it was a small private plane because I could hear it so well, and because it was so low. There were a lot of lights flashing, and a pretty loud whirling sound, an unusual sound to me, but the only way I can describe it was like a helicopter sound, but more a whirling sound than a chopping sound. It definitely was not a helicopter. I remember being amazed as there were twenty or thirty lights flashing on this vehicle. At first I thought I was close to Ainsworth, as there is an airport there and it was so low to the ground I thought it must have just taken off. I thought it was a very fancy plane. I said some things out loud, and I believe they had a bearing on what ensued. I will relate those comments in a few paragraphs.

At first I didn’t think much of it, I thought it was a small plane definitely with sophisticated instruments, radar, etc. I continued driving only glancing at it twice. It immediately came back to check me out, as that is when I realized I must stop to see what in the world this was. I was looking at the road, (driving) so I didn’t see it shift into reverse, but that is what must have happened. As I think about it now, at that point, I remember being surprised as I could see stars through it, and the lights weren’t flashing and making as much a noise as it had made an instant before, when it first was visible and coming over the trees. I pulled over, off the road onto the shoulder, put the vehicle in park, and opened my window. That is when I realized this was a very unusual event in my life. I stared at it, and remember there wasn’t much of any sound now, and just an instant later, there was no sound. It was suspended in the air, and just hovering there, about 15 or 20 ft. in the air. I could see through it. The lights weren’t flashing then, and there were only a few lights. Also, I remember thinking that whomever was in there, was not visible, but no doubt was looking at me. The lights I could see were on the exterior of the craft and there were only two or three that I recall along with apparent illumination in the interior. The visible lights were in the position of one or two corners of the craft, I believe, but I remember thinking there weren’t lights in each corner, maybe just three lights. My attention was directed to the interior, illuminated but not a very large space, and I thought two levels. It looked like a large rectangular glass (plastic) box. The interior wasn’t very wide. There were no desks, no panels of instruments, no anything, but it was dimly lighted allowing me to see functional space.

I’ve tried to recall the measurements, but bear in mind, this all happened in a few minutes time. These measurements are the best I can recall, and here they are. The plastic box, which this craft appeared to be, was approximately 18 feet long, maybe a little less, but not much. The height was approximately 13 feet. It was rectangular with the horizontal measure greater than the vertical measurement. It appeared there might be two levels, but, of course, I didn’t see any steps, etc. The space inside was illuminated lightly, I could see some depth to the space, and I’m going to guess that at about 4 feet. The reason I thought it was two levels, it appeared there was some kind of horizontal divider in the craft, in about the middle. I have calculated that I was no more than 120 feet from the craft. 18’x13’x4’ approximately, and about 120 feet away.

I looked in the rear view mirror and saw two large trucks (cattle trucks I realized after I got out on the road) approximately 1/8th of a mile behind me, coming very fast toward me. I got scared all of a sudden, and wanted to be in front of the trucks to protect myself. I remember calculating that it wouldn’t put the trucks in danger if I were to pull out on the road and get up some speed, which is what I did. I didn’t even glance back, even though I wanted to, to see if I could see the vehicle flying away. I was in animal country, and I had two large trucks bearing down behind me, so I just drove and concentrated on the road in front of me. The appointment I was traveling to had a very small bearing on my leaving so abruptly, but primarily I felt I wanted the safety of the trucks to escort me away from this experience. It was a very meaningful experience to me, however, and now I know UFO’s exist. As I was driving away from this experience, I felt a sense of gratitude I had experienced it.

After getting out on the road again, I immediately came to Plum Creek and then Johnstown, and soon after that, Ainsworth. I pulled in at the gas station, and saw the two big cattle trucks go by, and I’ll always wonder if they saw anything. They may not have, because the craft was inconspicitious and the trucks were traveling very fast, and I recall some trees just to the left, or west, of the craft.

The lights of this craft appeared to be the source of the energy to navigate it, and with the many flashing lights and the whirling noise, it seemed like a happy little vehicle, just singing and whistling along, before it spotted me.

Forgive me for being repetitious, but I don’t have time to make this a grammatically correct manuscript. Some of you who are reading this are probably appreciative of my repetition as I don’t want to leave out any important points that I know I experienced. When I was first parked, and looked at it, it shut down to no sound and even though there were some lights, they were not flashing and they were very few in number. The craft was completely stationary, suspended in air about 15 ft. off the ground. I could see through the spacecraft, and could see the interior but could see no objects. I would gauge it just a few feet on the other side of the fence line (standard distance from a road) and suspended approximately 15 ft. in the air.

The last thing I want to relate is what I said, outloud, because I think they heard me, understood me, and that is what caused them to take a better look at me. When I first saw the vehicle (which I assumed was a plane) I distinctly recall what I said, and that I said it out loud. My windows were rolled up incidentally. After glancing at this vehicle initially, I assumed it was some rich person’s vehicle because it would cost a lot (just judging from the power and the energy I could see and hear) and I said, “You’re a sophisticated little plane.” Then I recall saying, as I’m driving down the road not even looking back at it, “little fancy dancy plane!” Then, I remember saying, not having any idea the craft was anything other than being a mile or two away from me, “Wow, twenty or thirty lights!!” more or less to confirm in my mind what I had just seen. (When I first laid eyes on it, it was just having a good old time, clearing treetops and all those 20 to 30 lights flashing, making a lot of whirling sounds. It appeared to be feeling very good.) Then, I realized it had reversed itself, and it was still parallel to the road I was traveling down, at approximately 60 mph, and that’s when I said, out loud, as I pulled off the road, “Boy, I’ve got to have a better look at you!” I stopped on the shoulder of the road, put my pickup in park and rolled down the window. And there was no more talking, just looking at this space craft, as I have attempted to describe it. I definitely remember hearing the small purr being cut even more, so there was absolutely no sound as it was suspended in air.

I sensed no evil or ill feeling. It was a friendly force. I sensed curiosity on their part, and I greatly appreciated this experience, even though I did get scared and wanted to be ahead of the trucks and not left behind.

I hope to see another space vessel sometime, if I am so blessed. If I do, I will try to be braver. But, you have to admit, I was pretty brave the other morning when I had this great experience. Before October 6th, I really didn’t believe in UFO’s. I had not been drinking or smoking anything, I was totally sober and have been for years. I know what time I left Valentine, and what time I arrived in Ainsworth, and there was no great lapse of time. I imagine my encounter lasted only a couple minutes from the time I first spotted this noisey craft, when the craft returned to my proximity, when I parked to observe it and when I pulled out on the road again.

The man I talked to on the phone from this website asked me to draw a picture of the relationship of the size of the vehicle I saw to the sun in the sky. I think this would be confusing, I’ve given you the measurements as best as I can recall them. If I would have to do that, it would be close to the relationship of a 3x5 file card to a penny.

4/20/07 10;30 pm big object no noise just moved slowly away from the top of my house

On friday nite at 10;30 at nite, i was sitting outside cooking hotdogs on the fire and i always look into the sky. I happen to look right above my house at about a thousand feet or so , i noticed this big object.

I was kinda of in shock cause i didn't know what it was , then i told my daughter and her boyfriend to look above the house in the sky and we were speechless,and couldn't believe our eyes. It was not an airplane, it had no lights on it, no engine noise. It just was gliding very slowly, it was gray in color and very big, as it passed our house it just made it's way into the sky as if it disappeared.

My daghter called her son who was walking his girlfriend home, and went to pick him up cause she was scared for his safety .

I was just lights. People all over the are seen it. I just happened to sit down to watch the football game when I saw it. I just shook it off untill the news came on and appearntly alot of people saw it. some called the news office but they had no answers.

The next day people that were at the football game in Pittsburgh, PA, also reported seeing it. All sigthings were in the SW sky.

The news then reported that it must have been either a meteor of the international space station.

2 starlike objects travelling together N to S/SE

While driving my teen home (lives with ex) after a midnight movie showing on 5/19, we witnessed 2 objects in the sky.

After arriving at their house I exited my car in their driveway to stretch my legs while my son gathered some belongings from the car. I looked up to check the stars, which were brighter at that particular time and location (3 a.m., small subdivision basically in open treeless grassland/scrub brush terrain approx 1/2 mi E of I-25 at Johnstown exit).

We watched the sky and talked for a few moments when I noticed 2 faint starlike objects traveling from N to S/SE. They were roughly an inch apart if a ruler was held at arms length. One was not in front of the other, rather offset and slightly to the left(NE).

I checked my watch which said 3:00 a.m. exactly as they were directly overhead.

Speed was close to that of a jetliner although the impression was much faster since the faintness made them appear to be well up near the edge of the atmosphere. No noise was noted.

As they travelled to the south the first one became dim and the second became much brighter, approximately half as bright as Venus. They then both faded slowly from view.

We scanned the sky for any other movement but after a few minutes saw none, so my son went inside and after another sky check I re-entered my vehicle and drove home.



NUFORC Note:

The manner in which the two objects faded from view is characteristic of how satellites fade from view during the evening hours, as they move away from the setting sun, and into the Earth's shadow. However, we do not know if satellites would be directly illuminated by the Sun at the hour indicated. Moreover, as they orbit to the southeast, they would be approaching the rising sun in the east, so they should not fade from sight of a witness on the ground. We do not know what the witness observed. PD

I am a police officer with 24 years experience and also an avaition enthusiast. On 5/28/04 at 2244 hours, I was leaving my residence for the 11x7 shift. As I approached my vehicle I looked up at the sky to see what kind of a night (weatherwise) I was in for. Clouds were "broken" at 2400 and the temp. was 59 degrees. As I looked up at the moon in the west, I noticed there was a planet (which one?) at the moons 5 o'clock, and two stars all more or less in a direct line. Then I noticed the middle "star" was moving north at a fairly high speed.

When I first saw it, it was just slightly dimmer than the planet and brighter than the closest star. As the unknown continued north, it grew dimmer and dimmer at a steady rate until it just went out all together. There were no navigation lights visable after the white light went out, there was no sound either.

White light in night sky viewed for 15 minutes, traveled N to W and reversed it path

At approximately 8:50PM EST I was outside putting things away for my neighbor who injured his back. I looked into the Northern part of the sky and saw a small, white dot in the sky moving rather slowly no flashing of lights, no colored lights, no cascading of any kind. This was a couple miles away, there were no sounds. It was traveling from the North where I first saw it to the West, towards Johnstown, PA. It seemed to mostly stay at the same speed but at varoius times it did decelerate when its speed increased it was where it left off no faster. It also kept it's original level flightline moving from my right to left. I was looking at it through binoculars and was moving laterally with it. About half way through this it either stopped or was now moving directly away from me. In my opinion it stopped because it didn't become smaller and harder to see. There was intermitent clouds but all in all it was clear and cool with a full moon. After it stopped it started to move back to where it was coming from the North. The speed seemed a little more accelerated at this point. Again same level flightpath. I kept viewing it while continuously moving to my left to get a better view. I also had to do this because it was going behind some large trees in my neighbors yard. I then lost total site of it but at that moment two other lights appeard where it seemed to stop one headed west one north. I stayed with the westward one because it was easier to view. This did flash white and red and could have been a plane. Whether or not it was something this object ejected or a plane I do not know. This isn't the first time I encountered strange things in the sky over the years. I have had 3 seperate encounters that makes this fourth one seem like nothing!

Monolith in front of the almost full moon

On October 30th 2001, while at work, my boss told me he heard on the radio that it was the first full moon on Halloween in 80 years which I found that to be interesting. I was done with work at 9:30 PM and waited for my co-worker, as she was my ride home that night. It was about 9:45 PM when we exited the building facing east. After about 10-15 steps out I remembered what my boss said and looked up to appreciate the moon the day before it was full. When I did, my stomach immediately sank and I stopped dead in my tracks. My immediate impression of it was that it was a missile or rocket coming straight down (this was fairly soon after 9/11 and anxiety was still high). But as my mind began to register what my eyes were seeing, I noticed that it had no exhaust or visible emissions, no lights or sounds and it was not traveling downward but growing downward, the top portion of it remained fixed in the sky. All I could do was raise my arm at first to motion my co! -worker to stop walking (she hadn't yet noticed). My eyes glued to this thing I finally muster out "what is that? What is that? Look!" She stops walking and I now have her attention and point to the moon. "Do you see that? What is that? Do you see this? What is that?" There was a slight haze but it was clear out at the time and this object was solid. It casted a faint shadow from the moonlight, it was physically there in the sky. I would best describe it as a very thin black rectangle or a thick black line in plain sight in front of the full moon. It was growing downward and looked like a solid banner slowly unraveling. We were standing there in complete awe and silence, just watching it. It then stopped "unraveling" (still in front of the moon) and right after it did, another line or thin rectangle appeared a little below where the first object ended and did the same "unraveling" the first object did. All the while maintaining a stat! ionary point of origin from where it appeared. So at first it ! started to look like exclamation point (!) But the point continued to elongate downward. The objects did not move other than appearing and "unraveling" the entire time. The moon was well above the tree line and no power poles or clouds were even close to it. I did not see any other aircraft in the sky. As the 2nd object started to stretch past the bottom of the moon. My coworker started to become very unsettled and distraught over what we were watching and needed to get home to her family asap. She was so shaken up from it that she asked me if I could drive her car for her. I wanted to stay and watch it, as long as I could but I couldn't deny my coworkers request to drive, seeing how shook up she got. Driving home, I tried to continue watching it the best I could but soon lost sight of it in the trees and hills on the way home. Once home I was able to get a good view of the moon again but when I did, I didn't see the objects any more. We must have watched the objects for ! about 5-10 mins before leaving the work parking lot and about 10 to 15 mins to dive myself home. I was so excited at the time over what I saw that I wrote down some notes and drew a diagram to help better describe and understand what happened once I got home. I scoured local news for days but never heard anything about it. I told my friends and family, who were skeptical and made light of it. Some of my friends later got confirmation from my coworker of what we saw that night. But it still scares her and she doesn't like to talk about it in detail. Although some time has passed since then, I still remember this event very vividly, as I have never seen anything like it before or since. I have since stopped telling people about it out of fear of ridicule, discrediting myself and disbelief (even I am skeptical of other people's ufo stories and sightings). I've only recently came across my notes of what I witnessed that night and wanted to tell my story one more time. I do not! know what these things are but I am certain what I saw. They ! were sol id and they were there in front of the moon. They made no noise and had no lights. They sat motionless in the sky and changed its shape. I witnessed the 2nd object literally appear and grow from nothing. I am an educated person and I cannot come to a proper explanation of what it was. It really defied my logic. I know about helicopters, meteors, contrails, chemtrails and weather balloons. I am aware of various, bizarre weather phenomena. Drones have not yet been made public. I rarely drink and I don't take drugs. I was of sound mind on that night and I am of sound mind now as I write this. What I said here happened and is is 100% true.

My First Daylight UFO

my buddy and i were taking a break in the afternoon. We both worked at the galleria. It was kind of an over cast day with sunlight. The clouds were towards the north east. We were talking like we usually do when I noticed something in the sky. I said to my buddy "look up there" and pointed. I said to him "what the hell is that". not in an alarming sense but just curiousity. I happened to swear a lot at the time. we botth watched it for about maybe 8 minutes. then it moved a lot closer and fast. Based on watching helicopters from the local national guard unit and also watching airplanes flying to and from the local airport, I had and idea of the relative altitudes those vehicles flew at. and also how long it took to get from one point in the sky to another at their respectful altitudes. Well this thing was flying higher than a helicopter. but not as high as an airplane. It was maybe flying at 2 times the height of a typical helicopter flight. Anyways it covered a distance of maybe 5 to 8 miles in about a second. Oh before it moved closer it was just sitting there. anyways, I said ((deleted)) and my buddy said "damn!". we never saw anything move that fast in our lives. We continued to stare at it. I started to make jokes by saying aloud "hey aliens over here!!" :) Well it was easier to see the object now. It stood out among the dark clouds when the sun was shining on it. The way it looked was like highly polished aluminum. You know like wheels on a car or a polished stainless steel muffler. Being that it was so visibly define, I noticed that it appeared to be rotating. not the very top of it just the middle hull. I think it was rotating counter clockwise. Anyways we watched it for about 2 more minutes. Then i heard the door at the entrance of the mall. We were standing outside one of the interior corridor doors. Well i looked over to see who was coming out ( just out of natural human curiousity). After i glanced over I immediately returned my focus to where the o! bject ha d been in the sky. I asked my buddy where it was. He said that he didn't know. He was watching it the whole time even during the time I looked away. He said that it just dissapeared. We've told some people about it. Some just laugh at us and think we are silly. Other people know we wouldn't lie to them but are still skeptical or just dismiss it. I would be skeptical about such things myself until I would actually witness such a thing. And that day I did witness such a thing. There have been three anomalys in the sky that I have seen in my life. Two were at night. one of those i don't remember. Another friend of mine told me about it cause he was with me. It happened about 10 years ago. When we both seen this light in the sky and it moved irratically. The other time i seen somthing at night was another light. This white light was higher than an airplane and it moved from horizon to horizon in about 30 seconds. The long story I wrote here was the first time I saw anythiing weird in the daytime. My father in-law is a truck driver. he has made a delivery or 2 to the research facilities near the mall. He only told me of this after i told him what me and my buddy had seen. He said they have some shady things going on there. So, if the thing we saw was an alien craft or a man made research project, I'll never know. But what we saw that day was definitely nothing I have ever witnessed before.

My encounter

When i was 14 years old i use to walk around at night in the woods by where i grew up..

I noticed lights coming out of trees by a baseball field i use to always play in when i was a child..

I as most children are was curious so I checked it out..

As i got closer i could hear a strange hum i wasent use to hearing from any farm machines As i got closer I could see two at least 7 foot tall What looked to be HUmans with blonde hair..

I was scared case I knew the ship wasent something that was in the reality of what i grew up to understand.

THey had on suites that seems like Jumpsuites that had Glitter silver glitter all over them But the silver gave off other colors as lights would Shine off them.

They seemed to be Working on a cigar shaped ship.. A square portion OF which was exposed and seems like for AT least a hour they had been Doing something with lights Im assuming was working On it..after about a hour A walkway opened up in the back or front im not shure they Got on it and THe hum got stronger ANd rocks lifted off the ground as well as garbage Youd see in a place such a baseball field children would play in...candy wrapers an the such all seemed to life with it at least 2 feet off the ground Asthe hum got i guess u could say louder IT just ZZZIIIIPPP went right up in the air like they where never there

While observing celestial objects on very clear night, saw a bright blue-white light directly overhead. Apparent size approx. 2 x Venus, which was also visible elswhere in the sky. Light moved South to North along long axis, then disappeared after 3 sec. and approx 5 deg. of travel. Object moved relatively slowly with no trail and no sound. Could not estimate altitude but appeared to be much more than 10K ft.

It was a clear night with a bright moon. I was a passenger in a car with a friend of mine driving. As we drove along, I noticed something flying over the mountain ridge in front of us, about 1 mile away. The craft had two red lights on either side, with a bright white light in the middle. As it came closer, I noticed that it was moving quickly and taking strange angles. At one point, it was completly on it's side, and I asked my friend what it was. We both agreed that it was not an airplane or a helocopter. I then asked my friend to pull over so I could get out of the car for a better look. By the time I got out of the car and to the side of the road, it was directly above me. At this point, there were no lights, but I could see it's outline against the night sky. It was about 400 feet above me, and moving very slowly. It was silent, and about as big as a football field. It was triangular in shape, with rounded edges. As I looked up, I could see a strange pattern of rectangles on the bottom of the craft. I stood there in amazement, just staring at it. I watched it for about 45 seconds move slowly away from me, until it disappeared over the horizon. for unknown reasons, my friend never got out of the car. Even stranger, I never discussed it with him. I just got in the car, and we went on our way. for some reason, even though I've seen my friend many times since this happens, I always forget to ask him about it. I have never seen anyting like it since then, but I have heard descriptions of similar sightings. I know this thing exists, and I will spend the rest of life hoping to see it again. I tell my wife all the time that sooner or later, she will see it too.

triangular with lights.....seen by town sheriff also upon arrival at cousins farm in johnstown colorado

this is second hand...but in the mid seventies.....my cousins witnessed a triangular ufo...just south of the town of johnstown co...on their farm...near the town power plant. They called the sheriff...whom also witnessed the craft stil there when he arrived....after some time...the craft slowly moved parallel to the ground..away...and the police chased it as best they could...and it dissappeared over the ridge. I believe that the airforce or military department, instructed my cousins to hush up about the event...as they were very reluctant to ever speak of it again.....My cousins last name was DAY....one name was FRANK...the father of my first cousins....He was my mothers age.....at this time i would have been 13 or 14 years old. and Frank Day...now deceased was about 37 or 38. can you please investigate this...as it must have been a very serious event...covered up...thank you ((name and personal data deleted))…

Since the actual date of any UFO sighting is of particular interest and value in any report, is there any possibility you could remember the exact date of the incident? For example, you mention that you were cleaning up after a party. Would you have any record, e.g. diaries, receipts, cancelled checks
for party supplies, etc., that might help you "pin down" the exact date.

If you can, would you please take a few minutes to resubmit the report, but using the Online Report Form which is found on our website. IN 1962 to 1964 I can;t really remember the date my girlfreind an I went to a drive in theather it was called the richland drive-in in johnstown pa, as we waited for the movie to start they were showing the usual 5 minutes to go an then food commericals the usual event before the movie when it was about time for the movie to come on you could here this crackling sound an then the lites an sound went dead also the cars there there engines and lites went dead, you could here this crackling sound but couldn,t see anything because it was dark, people got out of there cars an as we looked up there was an object the size of a football field coming across the sky it was shaped like a sphere almost like a stealth but 5 times as big there was a dome on its bottom that was a luminated an seemed to rotate there was greenish blue flames coming from the edges an it went right down the the skyline an it was y flying .

I have seen all kinds of shooting stars an unidentifiable objects in my life but this sighting has never left my mind I will never forget what I saw.

My late father, a WWII veteran, saw a UFO along with many other people while a worker on a local railroad in 1951.

My father ( 1926-97) recounted the following sighting to me in the 1960s, 70s and 80s:

He recalled that he was a day laborer on the Conemaugh-Blacklick Railroad working with a sledgehammer on the track. He had been on the job for several days on a crew of dozens to perhaps a hundred or more workers. It was a sunny, cloudless day with a deep blue sky. He guessed that it was mid-morning to mid-afternoon.

All of a sudden, someone said something like: "Oh look!" He looked up and saw a gigantic silver disk travelling at an incredible speed. People gasped in awe. After reaching a point in the sky, it came an immediate halt, hovered for many seconds to maybe a minute, then dropped a mile or two, hovered, shot across the sky, hovered, then disappeared. It made no sound and left no vapor trail. It had no ornamentation, but was a clean disk.

Dad had never seen a UFO before and did not believe in them, nor was he a particularly religious or superstitious person. He had been discharged from the Navy in December 1949, where he had driven a landing cra! ft since 1944. He said he had been trained to judge size and distance and had used antiaircaft guns in some of his engagements in the South Pacific, as well as his ship's 14-16" guns as a fill-in. He estimated this UFO was approx. the size of four football fields, and travelled at speeds exceeding any aircraft he had ever see, which included some of the early jets. Only a missile well into its flight might have equalled it. But it stopped on a dime!

The next day, he came to work and was told he was no longer needed. He had not checked to see if it was reported by the local media and had not gotten acquainted with anyone, but he did recall talking about it with somone who worked next to him. Later, he did see the movie, "The day the Earth Stood Still," and remarked that it looked alot like that craft, but he said it was much larger.
