A string of evenly spaced lights, like Japanese lanterns, traveling in a stream across the northern sky, west to east.

I went outside to gather kindling and looked up at the sky as usual. In the northern sky, I noticed a string of evenly spaced lights traveling across the sky from west to east. The lights were orbs, somewhat dim, perhaps due to light pollution, and were going across the sky as if pulled along by a string, like a trail of lights moving across the sky. I ran inside and called my husband out. They were still there when he came to look. He stayed outslde, and I ran inside to grab my phone to film it. By the time I returned, they were gone. My husband reports that they just faded and then disappeared.

It was already dark at night. The sky was clear at the time and several stars were out. There did seem to be a dim line connecting the lights, but I couldn't be sure. I can't actually say how many there were because there were so many going across the sky, single-file. The orbs were white light all shaped and sized the same.

My husband and I live in a rural area alongside a river. Many cows and fields around. The lights came from the direction of a ridge in the northwest that borders our skyline. There was no sound associated with the objects. I am a writer/artist. My husband is a retired plumber.

I witnessed something launching upwards Susan Northwest of my location. It left a steam Trail that was not consistent with that of the usual aircraft that fly over this area. It went straight up an art slightly to the north but continued moving up. The trail then ceased and the object continued launching up in the atmosphere it appeared to be white possibly circular and the sun was reflecting off of it from the West. It continued to move up until it disappeared in the upper atmosphere. I am not aware of any facilities in this area that would launch missiles, Rockets, or satellite. The trail lingered for 10 to 15 minutes after object ascended out of sight. Upon A Brief research of are craft exhaust trails and trajectory, I determined that it was definitely not an airplane but what I witnessed seems to be consistent with rocket launches in missile launches. Again there is nothing near me that I am aware of that would be launching anything into the Outer atmosphere. there was no sound and the object was ascending at a great speed.

Pre-dawn cylinder shape outlined by dull red lights with a brighter greenish light, none of them flashing.

My mother and I were driving southwest on I-35, passing near Gardner, KS, well before dawn. I noticed what looked similar to a satellite moving from the left part of the sky ahead of us toward the right, which I later determined on a map to be roughly SSE to NNW direction. What caught my attention was that it was a greenish color - not white like a satellite. It wasn't a bright emerald green but rather a dullish green light. We intersected its path and it was out of my sight at that point, but and my mother was able to look up of the passenger side window as it continued north and observe it from underneath. She saw several dimmer reddish lights apparently outlining a cylinder shape, with the brighter green light first observed at the rear. None of the lights were flashing. It was impossible for us to discern the height or size of the lights/craft as it continue on a straight course and out of sight.

From my position looking north/east at 20:40 hours on Oct. 27, 2016 I spotted 4 lights in a square with one blinking red light in the center. Lights moved in a north/west direction. At an approx. 60 degrees from first sight lights reversed direction little stopped and began to flicker. Lights began to blink out and appear to reanimate in another place. Lights did this about 10 times. And moved in a north direction until out of sight.

3 red lights in sky flying northeast direction flying same flight path one behind the other.

Friday night, driving west on route 2 near the Gardner mass exits, I saw 3 red lights in the sky flying in a northeast direction probably about the same hight of a single engine sesna. was 3 red lights in the sky flying in the same direction one behind the other at the same altitude The lights were not blinking like u would see on a plane or jet. There was no other aircraft in the area at that time. It was unnatural.

This happened between 9:30-10:00 pm. Planes and jets dont fly in the same flight pattern as these lights were doing.

Sorry could not get a picture or video of the lights do to driving on the highway.

Baseball-sized Orange Orb Witnessed

Wife and I walked outdoors to our patio on the northwest side of our new country home at approximately 3:15 AM ET in Gardner, MA. We're new to the neighborhood, so we are diligent about opening and closing the door silently as not to disturb the neighbors who often have their windows open during the warm summer months.

Being a sound engineer, I immediately noticed a deafening quiet that was unmistakable to me. No crickets, no wind, no cars, nothing. I whispered "Wow, it's really quiet out here. A little too quiet". My wife said nothing.

It was dark enough so that you could not see the sky behind the trees. I realized we had a huge moon the night before, so the 'no moon' darkness had struck me as weird. Elapsed time we were outside was about 2-3 minutes. We were both facing west toward our neighbors house when we both saw a single spherical light appear, with no dynamics in luminosity. Nothing at first, then right to full-on brightness.

The singular amber / orange glow was the same exact color as the street lamp but much brighter, and the shape was spherical instead of oval, about the size of a baseball or softball. The street lamp seemed to be about 10+ feet directly behind the object we saw. The object kept an altitude approximately 5 feet below the street lamp from our perspective.

The glowing sphere never stopped moving at any point since it appeared. It moved at about the speed of a house fly, in a perfect counter-clockwise circle, with a slightly accelerated figure 8 pattern every few revolutions. The object moved in a circle pattern that was about 2 feet in diameter. It left a trail of light behind itself in the same color that faded linearly, but was overrun by the sphere again before the light trail fully dissipated.

I whispered, "Do you see that?". Standing slightly in front of me, my wife leaned toward my viewpoint on the patio and said, "Yea, what is that?". It seemed that once this object felt us notice it's presence, it disappeared with no fade, instant off and gone. The object was gone even before I could open my Camera app.

I noticed some trees between the object we saw and our patio. So I waited until daylight this morning to see if it could have been street lamp light refracting off of a bunch of shiny leaves, but there are barely any leaves to obstruct the view apparently. We never saw anything block the perspective of the object while it appeared and danced for approximately 15-20 seconds in total.

After it disappeared, I came to my senses and opened my Camera app. I was surprised to see a Camera flash to our far right from across the street. I was sure the neighbors saw the object too and were taking a photo, while forgetting to disable the camera flash. When I looked over, I saw another 5000k temp flash in the gloss of the neighbors car, but no light hit the street or tree next to where the source would be. Neighbors were asleep with all lights off an nobody was outside at all.

No activity so far yet tonight. But I will be ready for it next time.

Going down the rd, I saw mysterious lights (thinking it was lights from a business parking lot or something). I got closer to the object and noticed it was rather low to the ground. So I pulled over and it was moving very slow.

Then suddenly it cut to the left very fast. Then started moving slow again for about 30 seconds. Then it suddenly took off so fast like lightning. I could only see 3 lights in the shape of a triangle. No blinking lights or anything. And they were very bright.

Four Person Fireball UFO sighting in Upstate NY 11/28/2013 6:55 PM

Thanksgiving night. 6:52-6:55 PM, GARDINER/NEW PALTZ, NY.

Four friends watching the night sky from the yard when the object appeared in the west about 30 degrees above the horizon--it was unbelievably orange and bright, moving slowly toward us getting larger and brighter and often made split-second horizontal movements.

The object was totally silent and exhibited a shiny coronal light effect.

After the sighting we researched all comets/rocket launches we might have seen at that time, but none were at the right time or in the correct point in the sky.

It lasted for about two minutes before it faded and vanished.

Peter,

The property where we had the sighting is at the end of a long road in New Paltz, leading to a somewhat remote location directly on the east bank of the Wallkill River. The house faces the River just a few yards to the west. Our friends have a large stone fire pit and it's common for us to make a fire and sit around it after dinner chatting and enjoying the stars. We had an unusually clear view of the western sky due to it being winter and all the leaves being gone. We have seen satellites, shooting stars and many other aircraft over the years; even the international space station, which we confirm with the NASA website as to when it is passing by.

I can't say we took note of Venus on Thursday evening because by the time we got out there, plenty of bright stars were out. However, tonight--Friday, we were out there an hour early and saw the very bright rising of Venus at around 5:30 PM. White , bright, & steady. If you are familiar with the night sky upstate, you can't mistake it as anything else but a planet. I've heard about folks mistaking Venus for a UFO, but this was not the case with us. For one thing, Venus is in a totally different location in the sky: SSW. Our fireball was out of the WNW as we were looking directly over the river at 6:50 PM Thursday night.

At first, we all thought it was an aircraft with its landing lights on; but not white--orange--the color of flame. It was pretty far away, looked like a couple of miles. We realized this was no ordinary aircraft as it appeared to enlarge or come closer to us. I thought it had 2 tiny white dot lights inside and we all saw an "aura" or haze around the sphere. One of us saw a red "trail". The "aura" looked like the suns corona during an eclipse. It made several horizontal shifts to the left and right. The shifts looked perfectly straight and sharp, like it was under guided control. Then we thought it must be a rocket launch or a piece of gigantic space debris burning up slowly. A helicopter on fire? But there was absolutely no sound. While it was in the sky, an actual plane with normal red blinking lights passed by it and gave us perspective on how much larger this fire ball was or how much farther away it was from us. Unfortunately, we were all so stupefied none of us thought to whip out a cell phone and try to record.

As it enlarged (or came closer to us on an easterly course) we got the strange feeling our large pit fire was somehow visible to the craft (IF it was a craft!) and maybe was attracting it's attention? I hate to be unscientific but since we all felt that way afterwards, it's worth noting. After about 3 minutes it slowly just "winked out" and disappeared. Very reminiscent of the second stage of a rocket reaching orbital height.

Interestingly, there WAS a planned launch of a Space X satellite scheduled for 6:20 that evening from Cape Canaveral, but the launch was aborted, so that wasn't it. We were also aware of comet ISON approaching perihelion that afternoon -- but there was no way that was it.

One final observation: we can clearly see a local New Paltz landmark, the little light in the tower at Mohonk Mountain House way up on a mountain from that location. We can see that light with the naked eye, and since my friends have hiked up there many times they know that light is made by two little 75 watt bulbs. After discussing this, we all agree what we saw for that brief time was 1,000 times brighter than that little light at Mohonk.

The Object was Triangle Shaped, Had blinking colors of Red, White, Green, and Shaked as it tried to move as confirmed by 4 people.

I was outside looking for any remaining meteors possibly falling from the meteor shower that we are supposed to have and saw a Triangle shaped formation that was blinking a red/white/green color rapidly and then the shape started to shake.

I observed that for about 15 minutes until I called a friend to come up to my house which lives down the street and look at the object to make sure that what I saw was truly there.

He saw the same thing and when my neighbors came home from the religious services I asked them to look at the object in the sky as well and since one is color blind he didn't see the colors but saw the object and it shaking.

The other person saw what i saw and the other observer saw as well. We have 3 confirmed people that saw the colors and 4 confirmed people that saw the shape as well as the shape that was shaking.

We then proceeded to check the rest of the sky and saw two other shapes that exhibited the same characteristics as the first possible craft that we saw.

We have watched this for about an hour now and it ended about 23:15.

a cone/pie-slice shaped craft with 4 bright white lights flying low over the town.

We were at the intersection of Center and Main street in Gardner, heading east. We looked up and noticed a craft heading straight towards us, it was pretty low over the town and had two bright white lights with two smaller ones on the outer edges. It was cone or pie-slice shaped on its side with the rounded part facing us and the pointed part facing away from us. We could see the shape because it was like a dark shadow outline of the craft.

After it got fairly close to us, it stopped and began to move sideways towards the south. It continued moving south and then disappeared. On my way back home, people at the Gas station on Waverly st and 175th were reporting seeing lights over the municipal airport.

They said all of the cars headlights went out simultaneously at the gas station, and as soon as the lights disappeared, the headlights came back on. I don't know if it is related, but three nights ago around 1am, I was driving to pick up my boyfriend from work and saw a tall, skinny, greyish-brown creature crossing the road. It had to be 8-9ft tall and only took two steps to get across two lanes and it disappeared into the darkness on the other side of the road.

This also took place near Waverly st and 175th by the municipal airport.

Daylight Star?

I was looking at a plane that was passing and above the vapor trail was what appeared to be a star in daylight.

I pointed it out to my BF who could not see it. It was so faint that if you took your eyes off it, it wa hard to relocate it. Finally he saw it as well.

We watched as it moved across the sky, much higher than any plane could fly.

We got the binoculars and watched it move. Was obviously some sort of flying object. He stated it looked like a balloon but clearly was not.

Low flying green blinking sphere

I stepped out onto my back porch at around 9:45 PM CST, when I saw a green light out of the corner of my eye. The green light was an orb, the center being bright green, and the outside being a hazy translucent green. The center appeared to be blinking. The object was around 50 yards from me, and appeared to be a little higher that the telephone pole/wires in my back yard. It could not have been very high, as it disappeared behind the trees in my neighbors yard. The object made no sound, and was moving close to (estimate) 60 mph. I waited for quite a while to see if it would fly back around, thinking it was possibly some sort of RC Toy. It never came back. I was unable to photograph/video the object.

Unexplained bliking lights in Illinois.

While driving west on our way home, we noticed 6 very distincitive blinking lights hovering in the sky approx 15 miles away. These lights were blinking from orange to white to green and yellow. One of the lights dropped quite a ways down and then just stopped. All 6 lights then proceeded to make two large perfectly shaped triangles next to each other and the distance between the lights forming each triangle was approximately 1 mile. The way these lights moved was very fluid, not moving in the air like any normal aircraft. The tri angle formed for approx. 30 to 45 seconds and then broke up. The top two lights just disappearing and two others moved to the north.

We drove to our home about 2 minutes away and brough our son and mother in law out to see what we had seen. We then all got inot our car and drove west about a mile and parked on the side of the road and got out. Two of the craft were still there and hovering low in the horizon. Both were blinking the ! same colors as mentioned above. One of the lights then turned a brilliant white color and appeared to grow slightly in size. The light the dimmed and started blinking again and both lights headed north. My wife and I had our cell phones out and tried to photograph and record these lights. On my video, only two of the lights would show up, although they were all equal in brightness. My wife took numerous photos with her phone and all turned out black with the exception of one photo. This one shows 3 of the crafts forming one of the triangle formations they formed. These lights appeared to be above an area where there are large windmills located. There was no noise that we could hear from any of these crafts.

Reflective bubble chased by several jets

This was my second sighting, and last since. It was early November 2010, I was driving to my mother's house for her birthday. I was traveling West on Route 2 from Gardner to South Hadley MA. It was some time in the afternoon and the sky was sort of pinkish and had soft clouds, very pretty, which is why I was paying attention to the sky. I looked up and to the right at one point and froze, because I saw what looked like a silvery, sheer orb sort of sitting in the low clouds. It was reflecting the colors of the sky and clouds around it so at times it would be pinkish, almost like a bubble where, you mostly see the edges but they are iridescent. I started to say, "Is that...?" when my boyfriend spotted it too and started tracking it. As I was driving, I couldn't stare at it constantly, but for a few minutes as we drove along, I could see it, a perfect shiny bubble, then it would fade out and disappear, only to reappear on the other side of the highway.

I was beginning to wonder what it was that I was looking at or was I just seeing things, when at least a half dozen, possibly more, jets began to chase this thing. I could see 3-4 on either side of the highway and it looked like they were trying to corral this thing. They would send forward jets in a step like-pattern (jets at several altitudes and coming in from both sides)and get fairly close to this thing before it would disappear and reappear away from the main pack of jets. At one point both my boyfriend and I laughed about it a little because it seemed clear that this thing was playing with the jets.

After maybe 10mins or less of chasing this silvery ball, it disappeared and never came back and eventually the jets left as well.

at 00:20, 8 May 10 I observed 3 objects traveling south to north, in formation.....sky was slightly overcast, stars were visible. The objects appeared as satellites,of which I have seen many, but were in a line abreast formation, and moving at very high velocity, toward Mt. Monadnook, in New Hampshire. They maintained their shape and speed, until passing from my view into heavier cloud cover to the north. No noise or flashing lights, and not an object breaking up in the atmosphere.

The object fell, then streaked through the air at a 45 % angle with a blinding speed.

I was arriving at work, prior to my 8PM shift. As I approached the building where I work, I noticed an object that looked as though it were hovering in the sky. At first it looked like how a planet might look if it were too close to the earth. Then I noticed it was kind of trianglular in shape with the edges rounded off. Also, it had a greenish-white glow to it. It seemed to get bigger and that made it look like it was getting closer. I thought to myself, "Oh it must be a jet airplane approaching. In a minute I'll see taxi lights as it gets closer". My interest was lost right then. I turned my attention to a coworker who was walking accross the parking lot to enter the building through the front doors. Watching her, it was impossible for me not to see what the object was doing, because she was in between the object and me. Just before she reached the front door to go in. The object shot down from the sky at an incredible speed. I thought it was going to crash right into the ground, but right before it got to the treeline, it shot forth at 45 degree angle in the opposite direction and disapeared in the distance in the blink of an eye. The whole think happened so fast that I was completely taken by surprise. I remember that it was moving faster that any aircraft that I have ever seen in my life. It left green streaks accross the air as it fell then shot off. My coworker didn't even see it, because it wasn't directly above us. It was at a distance that would have put it over the freeway of where route 2 and route 140 meet (1/4 mile away) in Gardner. It was also a few hundred feet in the air. Another thing I noticed was that, during the whole incident, the object made absolutely no sound. This morning, I called the Gardner police and they said that no one had reported anything.

I once was a flightline mechanic in the US Marine Corps. I've been around every type of aircraft that you could imagine. In the past I've taxied aircraft for many years, at night, but I've never seen anything like this.

Driving down 208 by the wallkill prison I believe it is called when I passed a group of trees there was an large glowing object, red. I was going 55mph. I quickly said what the heck is that to my girlfriend siting beside me, she gasped with shock as I. slowing down I passed more trees and out of view of the red light, I quickly pulled back to find the red light was no longer there. Sitting for about 20 seconds I said I was going to find it so I took the next left to see if I could see if it turned and about 5 seconds after taking the left my girlfriend said "there it is" and I look out to the horizon line and I see the red light floating over the mountains, I started driving towards it and my girlfriend started getting frantinc saying "get out of here its right there" and made me turn around and leave saying "faster faster, they are rite there". She was so shocked, I was definately adrenalin rushed chasing it down. When I first saw it big it looked like it was maybe 300 feet away but about 25 seconds later took the left turn and it was probaubly 10 miles away over the mountains. I asked why my girlfriend was so frantic at me getting away so quick and she said it was over our car and she never saw it on the horizon line as I never saw it by our car...

A triple-ellipse "thought-bubble" crop formation found in rural Gardiner, ME, investigated by BLT Research Team Inc.

At about 2 am August 4th Witness #1, who had gotten up to get some water, observed a bright white flash of light followed by a small (perhaps flash-light sized) BOL down low over a hayfield across the street from her house. The BOL bobbed around over the crop for several minutes, then seemed to come closer to her location, then "went straight up in a beam of light" and disappeared. At approx. the same time a neighbor (Witness #2) whose house is approx. 75 yards away from the hayfield, got up because her dog was barking loudly and repeatedly; she observed that the dog was facing the hayfield as he continued to bark for about 5 minutes. Witnes #3 (the wife of the hayfield's owner), who lives several hundred yards distant, woke up sometime after 12 midnight and heard a strange "metallic-type" noise which lasted only a few moments: "I have never heard that kind of noise before." At about noon on August 4th the hayfield owner's 16-year-old son went to visit his grandmother whose house is immediately adjacent to the hayfield and discovered the new crop circles. The boy notified his mother and step-father, who called the local police; the officer who examined the field told the family that he did not think the circles were "man-made" and suggested they notify UFORC ((National UFO Reporting Center--PD)), which they subsequently did. UFORC then notified the BLT Research Team Inc. of the event.

On August 5, 2002, a BLT field-team arrived at the relatively rural location; both team members have investigated crop circles in the U.S. and in Europe, and one has extensive experience in many countries over 10 years. A thorough examination of the circles and extensive interviews were carried out.

The hayfield is on a dead-end street with perhaps 8 houses along it. The field is about 2 acres in size and goes up-hill into a large, partially open area; the house of Witness #1 is immediately across the street from the field. Witness #2's house is about the same distance away, but behind a row of trees which border the field on that side. Three contiguous, flattened, ellipses were discovered in the lower (2-acre section) of the field, with their edges just touching, creating what crop circle researchers call a "thought-bubble" design. Largest ellipse was 65' at its widest point; middle circle was 35' at its widest point; smallest circle was 25' at its widest point. The centers of all three ellipses were considerably off-center. There was a slight curve to the overall design, perhaps 20 degrees.

The plants (grasses and fescue with goldenrod, Queen Anne's Lace, clover and milkweed) were fairly gently laid over, with the thicker-stalked plants such as milkweed clearly showing bending at the base. No broken stalks were found. All plants were swirled clockwise and it could not be determined whether the swirls had begun in the centers or ended there. The initial impression of the crop lay was of fluidity, with a clear undulating character to the flow of downed plants.

The majority of the flattened plants were grasses (not the cereal crops most typically involved) and the stem nodes of these plants are so small that no real evaluation in the field can be made of stem-node change (such as elongated apical nodes and/or expulsion cavities in the lower plant stem nodes). The only visible significant change in any of the flattened plants was the bending at the base of most of the larger-stalk plants, such as milkweed. No plant or soil samples were taken in this case, largely because of the plant species involved.

No compass deviations were noted inside the 3 ellipses and no cell-phone failures or camera malfunctions occurred. A stop-watch check (where one stop-watch is left outside the formation and the other taken in with the field-team) revealed no time differences.

Photographs taken with flash cameras the evening of the 5th in the now 2-day-old event produced multiple "anomalous" light phenomena (recorded on several different cameras) typical of those seen in flash photos taken at other crop circles around the world.

The field-team's evaluation here leans toward this event being "genuine" (not mechanically produced) because of the following factors: (1) Node-bending at the base of the thicker-stalked plants and no breakage at the base of any plants generally (especially the hay, which was dry and ready for harvest); (2) the fluidity of the overall crop lay, with at least two layers noted in several places; (3) the fact that all three downed areas were markedly elliptical, rather than circular; (4) the fact that all ellipse centers were markedly off-center; (5) the presence of a double-center in one ellipse; (6) the animal disturbance; (7) the eye-witness reports of unexplained light and noise phenomena at the same time during the night the formation occurred; (8) the remoteness of the location and our character-assessment of the people in the near vicinity. However, without actual in-depth sampling of the plants and soils and subsequent laboratory evaluation, no firm assessment can be offered.

Yankee Stadium in the middle of nowhere

I was on vacation in Livingston Mt. last Sept. In a field a few miles above North Gate-Yellowstone Park. In the middle of the night about 3:30am, the whole valley lights up like Yankee Stadium, and with not a peep. It stayed lit without movement of any kind for at least 40 seconds. It came back a second time moments later for about 20 seconds, and went away again. I came out of my Mini-Van the first, and the second time looking for a truck, but my eyes looked to the sky both times like I was having some sort of an invitation or something. It felt like I was hiding behind a tree, and I was witnessing a serious crime, thus knowing the silence was very strange. Blew it off, went to sleep and woke early just to find an open field with a bumpy dirt road, and no main road near enough to provive any lights. The sound of the yahoo's pick-up aproaching convinced me-------UFO....... If you want the story, let me know.......…

This orange fireball suddenly slowed down and turned green, then suddenly dated off to the east.

I was driving to work heading North bound on I-35 around 23:00 hours. I was between Gardner and Olathe Kansas. Suddenly a orange fireball descended from the sky. I didn't realy think anything of it until this orange egg shaped glow suddenly slowed down and turned green. At that point I stared at it for a good 5 seconds and then it shot off towrds the east. I had a buddy who saw it driving in from another Highway. He said it looked liked a meteor. But he was to far away or I was to close to see it slow down in speed and turn green.

Went straight up and down for 5 minutes and then dissapeared. Later that night my Mom and I saw it agian do the same thing, only this time is hovered and looked like it was either rotating or blinking.

It was around 11:30 and we were all watching t.tv. in the living room. I got up to get a drink and looked out the kitchen window and saw an amazingly bright yellow circle hovering about 1,00 feet above the treetops. I thought it was aa star so i went back into the living room and started watching t.v. again. My brother went to the kitchen and got a drink also and he also saw it and told us to all go there quick. So went over and looked out the window and the yellow object was going striaght up and down. it did this for 6-10 minutes and then dissapeared. We talked about it for a while and then my Mom's boyfriend and his son had to go so we went to bed. About half an hour later I got up and looked out the hall window and there it was doing the same thing. i went into my Mom's room and she was satill awake. i told her and we watched to gether for 3-5 minutes, this time though about halfway through it stoped about 10,000 feet off the ground and hovered and we couldn't tell if it was blinking or rotating. Then it shot down below the trees and then came back up in an arc about 15,00 feet and went horizontaly over to the left of our house and dissapeared.

My Family were all watching T.V. and I went to the kitchen to get a drink and I looked out the window and off in the ditance I say a disk-like object in the sky at about 3-5 thousand feet. I looked at it for about a minute. It was hovering then it started to move up and down. I called everyone over and they all looked out the window and agreed with me that they saw it. We all watched it and it started to move up and down in kind of a oval orbit. Then it stopped, hovered for a bit, then it started sinking down below the trees. Later that night I was walking down the hall and saw it again and me and my Mother wathed it for about 2 minutes then it disapeared.

I knew after my encounter what I had seen so I made sure to remember all of the details very clearly. I was looking up at the sky and saw four grey disc shaped objects flying rather slowly. Driving from Golden, CO to Spokane WA via Yellowstone National Park

I was an Australian tourist delivering a repossessed Honda Civic to Spokane Teachers' Credit Union way back in 1987. At dusk, with the light already dimming rapidly, I saw a pale green orb ahead of me just to the left of the road. I couldn't determine if it was a large object some distance away or a smaller one much closer. As I drove towards the object - it seemed to be very close to the road - it suddenly elevated and flew straight at me.

It closed the distance in no time and appeared to be headed straight for my side of the windscreen. My New South Wales Police driver training kicked into gear (after I had almost soiled my pants) and I veered to the left to exit the road. My brain immediately forgot I was driving on the right side of the road and my manouevre was useless, I was still on the road but in the wrong lane.

When the orb was almost upon me it lit up to a bright neon green, turned at 90 degrees to its right without reducing speed. As it turned it gave me a fleeting glimpse of the shape it truly was, an owl-shaped eyes, football-size object with tiny wings. It disappeared immediately and I proceeded without further shocks to Billings where I found a comfortable bed and some soothing alcohol.

To come up with some sort of explanation I intended to find out if the State Bird of Wyoming or Montana was the Neon Green Owl, I was half serious but still half spooked. After a restless night's sleep I shelved the neon owl notion, drove through Idaho without seeing one little bit of Idaho because of the most widespread fog I'd ever encountered and finally lobbed in Spokane.

This incident has remained implanted in my mind all these years, always seeking some sort of closure. I may have found it after happening by accident upon a researcher in Montana who has written a book about the interaction of owls and UFOs. My little friend that evening may have found me too boring to delve too much into and just decided to play a little game of chicken with me.

At the time I was six years old. It was light outside and I looked out our bay window and almost at eye level, I noticed what at first I thought was a plane. It was moving very slow I picked up a camera but did not know how to use it. I watched the aircraft move in at straight line and make a sharp turn in a direction away from me. If it was a plane I would have saw it bank right. I am in the USAF and to this day I beleive I saw something other than a normal aircrat
