String of aligned lights idle waiting for a stray light to catch up

Taking moon shots, I noticed aligned lights over a nearby mountain. The lights became idle waiting for a stray light that appeared to be at the base of the mountain which ascended up to the group, then one by one they disappeared into the sky

5 lights waiting lining up and hovering idle, waiting for 6th stray light for stray light

While doing a moon shot, I noticed 5 lights lining up over Hi Tor Mt/state park. They appear to align themselves hovering and idle waiting for 6th light, that appeared to be ascending from .the base of the mountain.
The Hudson River is right there. Once the 6th stray light caught up, they disappeared one by one into the horizon. They did not fly across the sky on departing, just disappeared one by one

light above moon

is it an object or celestial body one finger width above moon for at least last 3 hours. Moves slightly rt and left. Looks like bright planet. Wish I had binocs. This light followed moon, remaining in position more or less as moon moves across sky. Light clouds visible which cross in front of moon but appear to cross behind light. Observed two tiny rapid flashes of white light to left of object at about 21:45. Observed by 3 individuals. This light was above and slightly left of moon at 18:30 now is directly above and closer to moon at 21:50.
