Low-altitude, slow-moving aircraft appeared to change form and defy conventional flight behavior

After leaving a wedding in Kittery, ME, my partner and I mistakenly got on I-95 North, exited, and looped back south on Route 1. Around 8:30 PM, while driving southeast on Lang Road in Rye, NH, we noticed a bright white light facing us in the sky, resembling an airplane. As we approached a stop sign at Central Road, we observed that the light was stationary and extremely bright. While stopped at the stop sign, we we could make out the silouette of wings and blinking red and/or green lights, confirming that it was not just a large light, but possibly a huge drone or commercial plane that was flying straight toward us and just looked to be stationary.

I exclaimed that the plane looked suspicious and my partner agreed it was weird. I jokingly said, "ask it to follow us so we can be sure."

After turning right onto Central Road, the object appeared to “follow” us, maintaining position to our left behind the trees. When we reached a clearing, we both clearly saw what looked like a hovering helicopter. Then it changed—without much movement—into what appeared to be a large commercial jet, traveling slowly (~20mph) just 75–100 feet above the ground.

The most striking part: the object appeared to be heading east or southeast—then, without turning, it reversed direction and began moving north or northwest, directly alongside us.

I stopped the car in the middle of the road (no other traffic), turned off the music, and rolled down the window. It made a jet-like sound, but not as loud or turbulent as expected for its size and altitude. We resumed driving when I noticed headlights behind us, and the craft gradually accelerated northward, away from the road.

Additional Notes:
• Despite it being after sunset, both of us recall the field and object as being “bright” or “daylit” during the sighting.
• We discussed the object aloud the entire time and felt like our thoughts may have influenced how the object appeared.
• We believe the object changed form (helicopter → plane) or at least how we perceived it.
• The reversal of direction without turning was especially surreal.
• No photos or video were taken due to the surreal and unfolding nature of the event.

We are submitting this to document what we saw in case it helps correlate with other sightings. We’re both grounded people and simply cannot explain what we experienced.

Object was moving slowly like it was searching

The craft appeared north of isle of shoals. The fire ball was extremely bright almost hard to look at.it would move across the ocean from north to south, then do small circles. At one point it looks like the light split into 2 objects, or there was two of them the entire time just not visible from my angle. I videoed at 2-different parking spots along rt 1. The third time I stopped it was gone.there was a few people who stopped as well but we did nots speak.
The first video show a cargo ship south of the bright object. The second video has the isle of Shoals behind the object. The islands are 6 miles off shore.

A small light growing in illumination and size that shot out lights into a rainbow shaped illuminated area.

A oddly illuminated light moved slowly but inconsistently across the sky (bigger than any visible stars or planets) until it started growing in size and illumination.
It then shot out around 20 or more light beams at a 45 degree angle. Then a rainbow shaped slightly dimmer but much larger illumination appeared connecting all the light beams. At this point the whole thing took up about an inch or two of the whole field of view of the sky.
The origin point of the beams lost illumination until it wasn't visible while the rainbow shaped illuminated section persisted but faded consistently for a few minutes until it was gone.
It's worth noting I was sober and working the festival.
I saw it with atleast 7 other crew members and I heard chatter among the 6000+ person crowd throughout the night.

A ufo emitted an array of lights before disappearing.

A star like object was seen moving across the sky. The star seems to have a haze around it that moved with the star. After a few minutes it stopped moving and began to shoot what looked like white lazer like lights in a 45 degree pattern. The lights traveled away from the craft and the haze appeared at the end of each beam. After the beams disappeared the haze remained and continue to grow across the sky in a half circle arc. During that time the original star like light faded from the sky. Then eventually the haze also disappeared. Our entire staff witnessed this.

Bright orange orb or sphere...being chased by two helicopters at night..

During the night of June 7, 2018, around 10:12 PM, I heard a helicopter. It was loud not like a charter helicopter which flies by during the day for scenic tours. So I had gone outside to see it and when I viewed the helicopter and seeing the lights of it.....to the left and just a little ahead of that was this bright orange round orb. It was no reflection it was just this bright orange round globe. And after seeing the first helicopter....there was one right behind it and was chasing this light...glow....orb...round existence of what is was. It only lasted for maybe 20 seconds and wished I had my cell phone to video it. It WAS something I have never seen before for that. I live just across from the ocean in Rye, NH. I may have seen things on video or television before.....but this was live...and real.........!!!

Did try to get video, haven't reviewed it yet though. Will see what came out as camera was having difficulty focusing.

My Husband, his friend and I were outside looking up in the sky on a night when there was supposed to be a satellite falling toward earth. We were looking toward the south. My husband spotted it first. Then his friend and I caught sight of the flying object.

It was triangular in shape and very large! Way bigger than any aircraft I've ever seen. It took up most of the sky. It was see through. You could see the stars right through it the only light we could see from the aircraft were the lights on the edges of the wings. It flew very low and slow. Very steady speed and height. It was also completely silent.

All three of us compared what we had just seen because we were all so in awe. We all described the event and the sighting similarly. I will never forget this experience.

This took place I believe at the Wallace Sands state park beach. The short version: a grey or tan cylindrical craft came from the northwest over the houses, it hovered over the beach near where I was for several seconds, then took off south east staying in line with the beach. The detailed version: My memory isn’t so great on when exactly this happened. I would say ‘give or take’ 2-4 yrs from the date I stated, and I have no idea the month but it was ‘beach weather’ in NH so June- early Sept. I do recall was early afternoon because we were going to have a late lunch. I was on the grass by the parking lot and the snack bar. I was with my mother, we were going to eat at the picnic tables. I believe she was either going to the bathrooms or getting something out of the car. The vehicle came from the northwest over the houses and hovered over the beach. Initially I thought it was some kind of drone. Specifically the Honeywell Tarantula Hawk military drone, but the shape did not quite seem the same. The only reason I even knew about that particular drone was from a video game, otherwise I may have been more suspicious that it was another type of craft (sooner). This object was grey or tan and a vertical barrel shape, it seemed to bulge slightly near the middle. It didn’t have a perfectly smooth body, it had indents and such, which is partly the reason I initially assumed it was a drone. The height I initially thought was ~200-300’. If it was indeed the T-Hawk drone, I would’ve been able to hear it. There was no sound, and after recounting it many times I now believe it was much higher than I had assumed. The reason I think this is the kind of an almost haze which you may see on jets that are high, especially military. That’s why I couldn’t quite tell the color of it.

While it was hovering, not quite overhead I was(at that time I was still thinking it was a drone), I ran around in circles on the grass about six or seven times, waving at it. I thought that if the person flying it sees me, they might think it was funny. After it hovered for maybe 5 seconds, it took off down the beach at a pretty quick speed. Not anything like the 4000 mph of some reports of uaps but also much faster than the T-Hawks approx 45mph speed. If I had to guess the speed, I’d compare to a vehicle on the ground, which would have to be moving well over 150mph. And the time it took to go from just hovering to full speed(or what I observed as full speed)was nearly instant which really caught my attention. I couldn’t imagine how an aircraft of that shape could move like that. It didn’t rotate horizontally or have wings or nay kind of visible engines. The speed and the shape of it made me think it must be some other kind of military vehicle or perhaps a high end civilian or weather reporting/related drone. At the time I was just getting into drones(or rc quadcopters to be more specific) so I knew there was some new tech becoming available. But after a few years of recounting this, I’m fairly certain it was not any kind of drone unless it was and still is a top secret craft. When I’ve asked my mother about it years later she says she recalls me running in circles on the grass that day but she said she doesn’t remember the drone or any craft in the sky. I really wish I had written it down in better detail when it happened or better yet, captured it on video.

We saw an orange ball floating slowly through the sky, then a while later we saw a ton of blinking lights in the air. Then after that a cloud lit up. After that we saw four orange balls in place lighting up one by one in a row, they faded away one by one also.

Captured UFO in photograph, did not see at time O

On Jan 1, 1997, myself, my ex-wife, and her 3 children from a previous marriage visited Playland Park in Rye, NY. The park was closed for the season, but it was a very scenic. We went there to walk around and enjoy the scenery. While there I took many photographs. I took two photographs of my three step-children sitting on a bench. I always take two or more photographs when I take a photo of people, just in case someone had their eyes closed, or mouth open, LOL. I don't remember the kind of camera I had back then, it was not expensive, but it was the old type of camera where you had to get the film developed.

When I got the photos back about two weeks later, I was astounded to see a silver "hat-like" object above their heads in the distance. The photo I have submitted here was made by taking a photo of the original with my Iphone. The original photo is much sharper.

I was really surprised by the object and studied it carefully, looking at it with a magnifying glass. In fact, I took the original, the negatives, and my camera back to the camera store and had the owner examine each. He did so, and told me there was no defect in my camera, or the film, that I had really captured some object.

A funny story about this photo, I told a co-worker who was a big UFO skeptic that I had caught a UFO on film. He laughed at me and scoffed, so I brought the original photo in for him to examine. At the time I was a Quality Assurance Inspector that worked in a lab with microscopes. You could see my friend's face change the moment he saw the photo. He took it over to a microscope and looked at it for a LONG time, at least 15 minutes, no exaggeration. He finally brought it back and I asked him what it looked like to him. He responded, "It looks like a flying saucer to me" LOL. I made a believer out of him.

As I stated before, I took two photos of my step-kids, just second apart. This object did not appear in the second photo. Over the years, I got divorced and lost all the photos and negatives, but fortunately I put this photo with the UFO in a scrapbook which I still have.

Again, the original is much sharper. To me, it looks like a circular disk with a raised dome on top. It clearly looks metallic in the original. This object was at an angle, so you mostly see the underside which was in the shadow.

I have submitted a copy of the original, plus I did a crop so folks can get a closer view.
