One bright white orb at the horizon of which five bright lights came out of, stayed in a circle and then flew away all in one direction.

My girlfriend and I were hiking the mostly off trail Wind River high route (Dixon's High route) in the Wyoming Wind River range. We arrived in camp at Hall's lake near Medina Mountain, set up our tent, ate a quick meal and settled in to look at the south facing sky.

We then noticed an unusually bright orb in the night sky above the southern direction mountains. After a quick discussion we realized that this light was too large, too bright, and too low and unmoving in the sky to be either a star, satellite, or airplane. The orb did not exhibit any navigational lights that we could make out, nor was anything blinking on this orb. In the navy I would have reported the height in the sky of this contact as "position angle 1 or 2".
The orb was bright white, like a white LED flashlight and round in shape, if there was a shape. The distance is hard to judge but I would say it would have to have been at least six miles to the south of us, probably further. It's very difficult to say where the object would have been on a map but the rough region of Texas peak, Big Sandy or even east of the wind river range are possibilities.

As we sat observing it for a few minutes and as we increasingly realized that we were looking at something very unusual, four or five (we more or less agree on five) smaller lights came out of the main orb in a symmetrical pattern, like flower petals of a flower, and hovered a short distance away from the main orb. My girlfriend describes these smaller contacts as coming out from the main orb as "I remember 5 smaller lights coming out like a star".
We were now baffled and asked each other if the other was seeing this.

After hovering in a perfect circle and with perfect distance spacings from each other around the main orb for a few minutes, the smaller lights suddenly and all at once moved in a "daisy chain" from right to left, under and over the orb and flew off in an instant to the right (east) and were gone in the same instant. The orb remained where it was, unchanged and unmoving. There was no sound whatsoever associated with this sighting.

We sat and observed the orb for a while longer and I went into the tent as the route is exhausting in the extreme. My girlfriend later reported to me that about ten minutes after I went into the tent, one of the smaller lights returned by itself from the right (east), flew under the orb again and "reentered" the orb from the left (west).

I would like to point out for the record that I was lookout and expert lookout qualified in the US navy and spent four years and two Atlantic / Mediterranean deployments on lookout watch. I am very familiar, trained and experienced at looking watch and at identifying/reporting aerial contacts at night. The only thing I have ever seen in the sky at night that was this bright and this large were the trawling flood lights of fishing boats that were about six - ten miles away. This object was in the sky however and over the middle of a mountain range.

Neither my girlfriend nor I were in any way inebriated, although we were very tired.

It was a beautiful and warm night and the sky was clear and we were looking at the big dipper and I was showing my wife and friends on one of my star apps where the north star was located As we all looked at the north star suddenly a very bright star like light appeared. It was stationary for approximately one minute and then disappeared. Not a plane! not a planet or star!

Unknown bright object disappears in a cloudless sky

I was prepping my telescope to look at Venus and Mars. As I was pulling the legs into place I looked up to make sure I was pointing in a good angle. I glanced up higher because another bright object caught my eye. It seemed to almost be hovering with no actual movement but I could be wrong on that, it could have been proceeding extremely slow toward the west. It kinda had a glow to it like the sun was reflecting off of it. I was waiting for the glare to stop so I could make out what it was, when it just disappeared, literally vanished. I hadn’t blinked and it was gone; it was just there and then it wasn’t. I have never seen anything like this in my life. I was in our atmosphere for sure, I am no good with distances so I could not give you a distance worth noting. After standing in disbelief and confusion I noted a plane crossing much higher up to the right of the object but it was leaving a contrail it was a passenger plane for sure. Whatever I saw left zero contrail. This happened against a stunningly clear cloudless sky. Still daylight but a setting sun. I am an Evidence Technician for a local Police Station.

Slow moving, low UFO seen in Medina, OH 01/09/21

I was outside walking my dog in front of my house at about 9:30 at night. It was a very clear night. I was facing East looking up at the stars. All of a sudden it got eerily quiet. I notice that coming from the South heading North, going about 10 mph, is a dark ship about 200 yards above the ground and about 100 yards in front of me and my dog. There was no sound. No lights. It looked like there was a cloaking aspect to the ship... like it had the nighttime sky on the underside of the ship. But I could see the contours of the ship while it continued a perfectly steady speed due North. It had no wings. From my POV, it was a cigar shape about 200 yards long and about 30-40 yards tall. No plane-like characteristics that I could see. It was hovering, no sound, going very very slow. I had a very bad feeling the whole time watching it. I watched it move from the South traveling North for about 20 seconds till it was out of my sight line due to trees and surroundi! ng homes blocking my view. I then immediately went inside the house and got my boyfriend, and we came outside to look for it but it was gone.

I was driving west on route 18 in Medina. Waffle House was on my left when I saw a medium sized cylindrical object rotating in the air. Very different colored orb the color was yellowish orange maybe a small amount of red it stayed in place about 3 mins then went west slowly then back east for a min then took off into the sky havent seen it since. I miss them.

I hope it comes back cause it was a beautiful sight. I have seen a quite a few strange ufos in my area and they almost always come from the north.

Ohio 10/18/2015 Blurry Object moving NW to SE not of this world, no light just barely visible.

October 18, 2015 I was outside and took note of the number of aircraft I could see in my field of view was unusual. Normally I only see 5-10 flashing beacons from aircraft at any given time, but this night I could count 20-30 and it was a very clear night.

As I watched the sky, I took note of a satellite moving overhead from south east to north west. I was following the movement of the satellite and after watching it for 20 seconds or so, I noticed a blurry object to the left and at a lower altitude appear. At first I thought it was a meteor entering the atmosphere and at any moment I would see a tail streak across the sky. There was no tail, no streak, and seemed as though it was behind a cloud. For a moment I thought that it could have been a reflection from another object on a layer of cloud cover. However, this was not the case as I had noted that it was a very clear night and the amount of other celestial objects I could see was enormous. The object was blurry to gray against the sky a! nd had a dim source of light surrounding it. Almost as if it had its own cloud source or as if the sound barrier was broken for the constant duration. However there was no sonic boom associated with what I was seeing. There was no flashing beacon on it. It occurred to me that it may have been some sort of search light or landing light from another aircraft, but nothing else was near it and again it was very clear with not one cloud in the sky. It was moving in the exact opposite track of the satellite from north west to south east. It was moving at a very high rate of speed as I could only follow it for about 8 to 10 seconds. I would estimate that the object's altitude was some where in the range of 15,000 to 20,000 ft. The space in which it was contained did not lead me to believe that it was assending or desending, it seemed to maintain its path.

I look up and watch the night sky as often as I can, I am very familiar with aircraft as I served in the USAF for 4 years and spent a considerable amount of time watching the aircraft on the flight line every night I was on duty. This was not an aircraft that I was used to seeing. I repeated to myself over and over as I watched the object "what is that??!!" and then " what the !*$% is that???." I was floored because I had never seen anything like it before and it made my hair stand as chills rippled through. It followed a very straight and direct path and was moving faster than anything I have ever witnessed.

Silent, bright sphere, passes over city of Medina

I had been awake since 4am. I dressed, made coffee then walked to the sliding glass door to open it.

I glanced up to the sky and a very bright, spherical object was in the process of passing overhead. It was the color of a bright star, heading from south to east. It was amazingly close and zipped out of my sight over the trees.

The object took me by surprise, but what gets me is how silent it was.

I had seen a fireball two years ago and this was no fireball. This morning's object was perfectly round and had no tail.

This makes the second sighting I've had this year of the same kind of object.

What I found interesting is that with my first reported sighting, someone in Bangor, PA, reported having had seen the same object I had. Bangor is a straight shot east from Medina, Ohio.

Unexplained "star" in Medina, Ohio, suddenly moves, then takes a 90 degree turn, and flies east.

This took place between the hours of 9-10pm.

Feeling tired, I went to bed at 9pm, leaving my husband to watch television. My eyes were drawn to the outside, as the flashing of the fireflies was quite striking to see. As it grew darker, the fireflies were more noticeable.

I decided to rise from my bed and sit on the floor, resting my arms on the window sill to watch them. Our window provides an eastern view and for a change, I noticed the night sky was clear and I could see the stars. Not having done this in a while, I looked for constellations. My eyes were drawn to a very bright "star" in the sky, positioned over our yard.

I also noticed a jet flying in from the south with its blinking lights and it was too far up in the sky to hear it.

Again, I was drawn to that bright star and wondered if it was a planet. After a while, it started to MOVE. It was closer to the earth than was the jet, because the jet passed behind it. I thought my imagination had kicked in, or that perhaps it simply was the earth's rotation causing this "movement." I used the window pane to gauge the movement and YES, the "star" WAS moving! It moved in a southern direction then STOPPED.

The "star" took a 90 degree turn away from me and headed east at a steady speed. I watched it until it disappeared, which took very little time.

The last time I had seen anything similar to this was in 2013 around 4:45am. I was driving up Fenn Road to Weymouth Road, on my way to work. The object traveled in a southern direction then turned east. This did not look like a star, but was a glowing orange color and had no flashing lights or sound.

Hovering light moving up, down & side to side then having a fix placement in the sky. Police Dept contacted.

While taking my dogs outside I noticed a light in the sky above the tree line in front of my parent's house on Huffman. While I stood watching it I noticed that it would move slowly up then down, stop, then move left to right slowly stopping again.

I stood out there for about 15 mins till' I asked my mother to come out & watch it. She agreed that it was unusual then went back inside. When 30+ mins had past from when I first noticed the light, & still continuing to do the same movements I called the Medina Police Dept. About 15 mins later & missing my driveway about 3-4 times the officer pulled up, by then the light had moved below the tree line so he was unable to see it. He took my report, said it was probably someone's drone then went on his way.

A week or so after I saw a similar light in the back yard, but since I didn't post asking if anyone else in Medina was witnessing the same thing I don't have a date & time.

I didn't contact the police dept the second time after seeing how they pretty much took it as a joke the first time. This was not the first time I had experienced lights like this in Medina, when I was in high school I was driving on Marcs Rd & pulled over in the subdivision on the corner of Marcs & Fenn & sat for awhile watching the same movement till it disappeared.

Bright red orange triangular shaped object with erratic movement came to stop, then became lighter and smaller and disappeared Medina OH

One bright red light in sky observed from living room window and was moving directly towards us from the south. Unusually bright and red orange in color for a plane.

Went outside to observe and noted it was slowly moving but slightly erratic side to side then stopped. There was no sound heard during this time as we normally do with jets that pass above.

We live in a rural area and it is normally quiet and dark because of no street lights.

As we watched it as it was stationary it appeared to change to a lighter color, and became smaller as we assumed it gained altitude and disappeared. The event took place in about 5 minutes.

I am a Physical therapist and my husband is a commercial pilot and we have never observed red anything like this before.

While working in my back yard in the south end of Medina, Oh, between 6:30 and 6:45 (PM), I saw a orange flickering orb traveling due north.

At first I thought wow someone put a lot of time into that, then I thought maybe the new fancy display on the blimp (but no Goodyear blimp attached). No sound, traveling under clouds.

I called for my son to come out, and he saw it too, but now much farther away, the flame like appearance, had him guessing rocket, jet, but not quite right for either.

Too fast , for a RC too slow for a meteorite, flickering, watched for what seemed a minute till it seemed to go up through clouds somewhere towards Cleveland, OH.

When I first saw it, it was almost but not directly overhead and it had the appearance of being covered with tiles of flickering but mostly orange lighted panels, but with enough granularity to make it appear wrapped in led displays, like active camouflage gone crazy. Very flame like pattern. Not a Chinese lantern

No sound, overcast skies that cleared somewhat an hour later.

I see much Cleveland air traffic but this was not that.

Four lights in square shape moving quickly formed into a straight line and disappeared.

A friend looked up at the sky and thought he saw a shooting star but realized there were four lights in a square shape with another light in the center.

Then it formed into 4 lights in a straight line. He told me to look up and I saw the four lights in a straight line moving quickly above me.

It made no sound which i thought was suspicious because it seemed kind of close.

I watched for 5 seconds before it flickered and disappeared.

2 fireballs, same pattern, silent.

On 11/5/13 around 8:20pm in Medina City (Medina County), I saw a red/orange fireball going across my window from south to north. I went outside because I knew there would be a second fireball as I have seen this twice since August. Sure enough, about 2 min later the same kind of fireball following the same path went by. Sighting is silent.

Previous sightings were around August 31st near Lake Erie and October 5th in Mohican (Knox County). Different times of night. I have a video, but it’s not very clear as the object was moving too quickly.

I would say it was a Chinese lantern but it was moving too fast and following the exact pattern, also I question as to why there would only be two each time.

4 fireballs following each other. one dropping what looked like sparks intermittently 7 times

I reported the same thing back in August. then it was in our front yard. last night my wife and I witnessed four fireballs in our backyard. The first came the east over the tree line then headed north and disappeared. Within a minute another one appeared and followed the exact same path. Then followed by a third one and finally a fourth. Tthe last two took a slightly different path after appearing. The last one dropped smaller objects from it which looked like sparks intermittently. It dropped or sparked seven times. people don't see this but maybe once in a lifetime I've seen this twice n the last 30 days? Why isn't local media getting reports on this?

Bright, fast moving white light with red/orange pulsating edges moving over Medina Tennessee.

At 8:16 PM on Friday, January 27, 2012, a friend called me from Jackson, Tennessee and described some strange lights that he and his son were watching in the sky. I live about 8 miles from him in Medina, Tennessee. After about 6 or 8 minutes I was able to find the lights he was describing. They were oval shaped lights (about 6) that were moving in a general counter-clockwise circular pattern and were in the southwest sky close to the moon's position. There were some clouds in the area of the moon that obscured it. The lights were reflecting off of these clouds. I soon identified these as lights from a spotlight since I had seen similar lights rotating in this pattern several years ago (I even drove and found the spotlight in the parking lot of a local club in Jackson).

I had called my son, daughter, and wife out to the back porch to check out the lights. Since I could identify them, I didn't grab a camera. As we were watching these lights a bright light appeared out of nowhere at approximately 8:30 PM. The light was due south of our location at about 25 to 30 degrees above the horizon. It was very bright, mostly steady, solid white but with a reddish/orange pulsating glow around it. It was traveling directly towards our position. At first I thought it might be a helicopter with its search light on coming straight at us. However, as it got closer, the light never changed even after it got directly above us. Also, it became apparent that it was actually very high (several miles) and was moving at an extremely high rate of speed. There was also no sound. It moved in a steady straight path eventually getting to 90 degrees directly above us. At first I thought that this object was the International Space Station since I have seen it pass over m! any times over the years. The white part of the light was solid and steady, not blinking, but the outer edges were glowing red and orange with a pulsating action. The size of the object was also very similar to the size of the station and had a very similar brightness. However, I have never seen edges like this on the station. After I came in, I checked the position of the station and it was over Australia.

The object continued over our heads and as it got to about 100 or 115 degrees it became reddish/orange only, began to get smaller and smaller until it just blinked out. My son got my wife's iPhone and did manage to take video of the object after it passed 90 degrees and until it blinked out. We viewed the object for about 60 seconds from the time we first saw it until it vanished.

I am confused about this because of the color and characteristics of the object. My instinct was that it was a satellite, however, I know of nothing that bright other than the space station and as I said, it was not in our area. Also, the color was very strange with the pulsating red and orange edges compared to what I have seen of satellites in the past. I will send the video.

Light seen over Seattle/Mercer Island changes direction

On Feb 2, 2011, at about 8:30pm, in Medina Washington, I was standing in the upstairs bedroom of my house, looking out the window facing South where I can see Lake Washington and Mercer Island.

Just above the trees of my neighbor's property, there was a bright white light traveling very slowly across the sky going East, at about a 30 degree angle. Then it reversed direction and went back the other way, traveling a little more quickly. From my vantage point it seemed to reverse direction above the West end of Mercer Island. It continued west over Seattle, sometimes getting even brighter, and then some trees obscured my view, and that was it. It was visible to me for about 10-15 minutes.

As I watched the light, it seemed to sometimes have flashes of red and blue. As it was on it's path West toward Seattle, a plane inbound to SeaTac seemed to get quite close to it. The light was at a higher altitude than the inbound planes.

This was the second time I saw this. The first time was last week, I think, around the same time in the evening. I found your site that night but I thought maybe I was mistaken, but the way it reversed direction stuck with me. So when I saw it again tonight, I called my mom upstairs to confirm I wasn't crazy, and we both witnessed it reversing direction. It could be a helicopter, but it didn't seem to turn, just reverse right in it's tracks.

What I witnessed was not any conventional aircraft that I am aware of.I was sitting on my balcony which is located on Erie Canal. Lake Ontario is about 8 miles north of where i was sitting. I looked out toward a blinking red light toward the lake I know to be a metal tower light. As i gazed at it, 2 bright orange lights suddenly appeared. They did not move at all and were positioned right next to each other. As i watched,I began to realize this was something unusual.then a third light appeared and all three repositioned in a split second to what may have been a mile apart from each other.Then they were gone in a blink of an eye. I ran into the house about 200 feet from my barn where i was sitting. I grabbed my video recorder and came back. The following I recorded at separate intervals as they vanished and reappeared several times. After about 3 more minutes, they reappeared. Now they were moving slowly side by side and then one over the other when they split apart and separated in what was only a fraction of a second and again were now a mile apart from each other.they sat there perfectly still,almost erie still with no motion at all. Then, one of them began to alter its round shape into what appeared to be 3 triangles with light shooting out from between them.the amber color remained steady throughout.The triangles appeared dimmer than the center light source.After about 45 minutes to 1 hour, they were gone.Again, I have the footage on my JVC video recorder. the Recorder is only 2 months old and is in perfect working condition.I have seen two other UFO crafts in my life.One over my home as a young boy,and the other over my workplace in buffalo NY on august 2 12:20 am 2000.The latter was a 1,000 foot craft with red and white lights. It had a black rail structure and was shaped like a giant eye.This craft was enormous and moved without sound.Vanished one light at a time.

January 4 2003-lights in rearview mirror

A friend of mine and I were going to see a movie, when in his rearview mirror, we saw flashing lights. He pulled over thinking it was a cop, but the lights kept going. It obviously wasn't close enough to touch. It was lower than an airplane, but higher than birds fly normally. The light was so bright though that it kinda freaked us out. It followed the street we were on for 2 blocks then quickly (with a bright falsh) took off to the left over a tree line. At the next street to the left we turned but the thing was out of our vision. We finished our date early, both due to splitting headaches and nose bleeds. (unusual for both) Since then, we have both been abnormally cold, no matter how many layers of clothing of blankets we put on or the temperature of our surroundings.

My wife and i were watching tv when we heard what sounded like a low flying jet.but after about 5 minutes the sound was still above us .we went out side to see if we could see what it was, but saw nothing. just a loud roar of what sounded like ten jet engines all at once ,but it was not moving. it was fading in and out like it was going off into the distance and comming back.this lasted about another ten minutes then started moving west until we could no longer here it.

It just kept going until we couldn't see it anymore.

I saw a metallic cone shaped humming object with very bright lights.

I got off work at 7:00pm and to my left I saw a bright light. I turned down the road to see what it was. I saw a very bright light through the trees and as I got closer it made a loud humming sound so that I could hardly hear my cd player. I looked down at my cd player and the trak timer was going so fast that I couldn't make out the numbers. I drove a bit further and in a field behind the trees I saw this gigantic craft the shape of 2 pyramids stuck together at the bottoms. At every corner there were bright lights so light it was almost like daylight. I rushed home to tell my mom and she said it took me about an hour to get home when it mormally takes 20 minutes and according to the clock in my car it only took me 20 minutes.

I saw , as what looked like fireworks of purple and blue in the Western sky. The sparkling fragments traveled Eastward towards me as a whole group. Once the items passed almost overhead and slightly North they took on a greenish-yellow color and appeared to be several fireballs traveling in a train-like fashion. I could not hear any sound from them. They continued to move quickly across the sky and disappeared into the Eastern horizon, slightly North.

I was waiting in the drive thru line at the Dairy Queen in Medina Ohio and the passenger with me said "what do we have coming here"? I looked across the vehicle and out the passenger window and noticed what looked to me as fireworks. It was a cold November day and I remember thinking to myself that this was an odd time of the year to see fireworks. The colors were flickering blue and purple and began traveling toward us in a cluster. The two of us were astonished! We both got out of the vehicle and looked toward the colored fragments. As the fragments began to pass overhead they took on a greenish yellow color and appeared to be fireballs with tails traveling in a row. Smaller fire balls could be seen in the tails of the larger fireballs that were in front. They moved swiftly accross the sky and seemed to disappear into the Eastern horizon. Neither of us could believe what we had just seen. There were other customers in line behind us that sort of looked quickly to the sky almost as if they wondered what we were looking at but I don't believe they acctually saw the fireballs. I was on my lunch break and was angry that I had left my digital camera at work. The image is etched in my mind forever. I saw a brief article on the evening news that someone was calling it space junk and another an asteroid. I heard on the radio that people were calling in reports of a sighting and they were telling us that it was part of the Leonid meteor shower that was due to be seen the following night. This did not occur in the constilation of Leo. I have yet to get any kind of explanation of it. One of my fellow workers told me that his daughter had seen the same event and seemed very puzzled about what she had seen. My work friend told her that it could have been part of the meteor shower but after what I had told him I witnessed, he realy didn't know what it was. I realy wish I new for sure!

It apeared to be baseball size, with a long tail, and it was emmiting a lot of sparks. It was very bright making a smoke trail visible.It was taveling at about a 30 degree angle.I dismissed it as the most spectacular meteor that I have ever seen , untill hearing a lot of people were seeing the same thing on the west coast, on the Art Bell show you were a gust on in mid Dec.

Me and my friends ((name deleted--Witness #1)) and ((name deleted--Witness #2)) were sitting behind ((home of Witness #1)) moms house. We were just sitting there on a picnic table and talking. We enjoyed staying outside all night since we were all only 14 or 15 years old. Well anyways it was a fairly chilly morning. As we talked we were looking towards some woods. The woods were roughly northeast from the house. We noticed the sun had come up over the trees directly in a straight line from or view. We didn't think much of it and just continued to talk. Then one of us (I don't remember who) happened to look over to our right and more in a easterly direction. And the sun was coming up over there! We then being somewhat more confused then shocked looked back at what we had assumed was the sun. It was a huge round, bright orange sphere. We all were just flabbergasted and couldn't figure out what it was. It then dissapeared. It sort of imploded,kind of like the circle the cartoon characters stick there heads out of at the end of the cartoon. You know it goes whooop. A few things became apparent looking back on it after having time to think about it. The object was of course too far to the north rather than east to be the sun. Also it couldn't have been near as bright as the sun or we couldn't have stared straight at it like that. It was definitley very close to us and above the woods. I realized as well that light reflected off the trees as if the object were directly above them. Not a celestial body thousands or millions of miles away. It was very bright and very orange. The only explanation i can give for us thinking it was the sun at first would be that we just werent really paying attention to it. During this whole episode a fog had rolled in. We didn't really feel any fear but we felt enough apprehension to head inside. We don't really talk about this much. In fact the two of them sort of denied this happened for years after the fact. Me and ((Witness #1)) had several strange things happen to us in those woods throughout later years.

In fact i'm a little scared of them. But i really wonder about this still.

In 1980, I was 16 years old and a resident of Iroquois Job Corps Center in Medina, NY.

I often walked along the main road that led onto the property. One mid afternoon, I saw an odd circular pattern of intertwined wheat just off the right side of the road. I now know that it was a crop circle, probably made/left behind by a small UFO.

The circle wasn’t very big, maybe about 7 feet in diameter. It was awesome. The green stalks had a glossy appearance because they were so evenly flat. And the joints were bent (nodes?).² I could not imagine what type of machinery created that pattern, and its presence did scare me a little, because I had never seen anything like it before that day (nor since it).

Special Note: One late night some weeks later, me and three other residents left the property (went AWOL) and walked very far to a bar in a neighboring town. Along the way, the roads became completely dark. We made it to the bar, and the trip seemed mostly uneventful. Soon after, IJCC staff came and got us and drove us back to the center.

During the ride back, one male friend said it took us longer to get to the bar than it should have (He'd made the trip before).

Around that time at the center, I began having UFO dreams and one was of a UFO invasion.

Fast forward year 1990 or so, I had the exact same 1980 UFO invasion dream.

Then, around year 2000 I began having a vague memory of one moment of that 1980 night. In that memory the four of us are standing on a stretch of road in pitch dark except for a single, small, dark, circular UFO. The craft was on or hovered close to the ground just off the road to my right. The lights of the craft lit the immediate area. My friends stood a few feet across from me. That is all I remember.

Did something happen? Maybe. I now know that the area was notorious for ‘strange' activity and that there was one or two stretches of road leading to and from IJCC that the staff wished to avoid after dark.

[Update: Event year and age corrected. Details added for clarity.] In 1979, I was 15 years old and a resident of Iroquois Job Corps Center (IJCC) in Medina, NY.

I often walked along the main road--Tibbits Road--that led onto the property. One mid afternoon, about a city block's distance from IJCC, I saw just off the right side of the road an odd flat circular pattern of green intertwined stalks of wheat. For some reason the joints (nodes?) fascinated me; maybe because they looked undamaged. In fact, the stalks were so flat and neat, that from a certain angle the pattern looked glossy.

I don't remember if I told anyone at the Center about what I saw. Likely, I told one of the participants.

Weeks later, on a late summer evening, me and three other residents left the property and walked very far to a bar in a neighboring town that only had about 3 or 4 letters to its name. It was nearing sunset, and mid way, the roads became pitch dark. There was only one or two farms with dim lighting. And there was moonlight, I think.

(I think we took Sour Springs Road all the way to its end then turned onto another road located near a 'Chapel' Road. But we were still quite a ways from our destination. My next clear memory is of us standing at a (white?) signpost that had the names of neighboring towns written in black and (**) saying we were almost at the bar. We went down a sloped area and walla! we had finally arrived.) Except for seeing 2 or 3 cars and dodging into nearby brush to hide, the trip seemed mostly uneventful. Soon after we arrived, an IJCC counselor came with the van and drove us back to the Center.

During the ride back, ** said that it took us longer to get to the bar than it should have (He had made the trip a few times).

Some time after the AWOL trip, I began having UFO dreams and one dream was of a UFO invasion, a dream that was so realistic, I still remember portions of it 40+ years later.

Fast forward early 1989 or early 1990 at the latest, I had the exact same 1979 UFO invasion dream.

My wife and I were entering the city of Medina early evening about 8:00 it had been dark already for about 1hr. Coming in on west Smith Rd. Approaching the intersection of West Smith and State Rd.,A t-intersection with a stop light.The light had changed to red as we approached.Came to a stop and waited for it to change.The Medina Co. fairgrounds is to the south side,with the racetrack near the rd.The Standard Welding Co.Building on the opposite corner of the intersection,and behind it,a small woods with trees approximately 25-30 tall.

While waiting for the light we noticed what looked like car headlights beaming directly overhead of us coming from beyond the horizon above the tree tops.Iimediately rolled down my van window and stuck my head out and as the lights got brighter and bigger on thier approach I basically climbed out the window and sat on the sill of the door.

All the sudden a craft appeared over the treetops,about 20-30 ft.above them,coming straight at us.The headlights shot thier beams about twice as much in distance than a cars.4 lights in all,two large ones toward the center,two on the outside edge.You could see a glare behind these lights as though there was a glass panel behind them.

The craft was traveling about 5 mph.,and made no noise what so ever.It traveled directly overhead of us.there was no mistaking what it was or what it wasnt.Never have I seen anything like it,on tv or otherwise.If camcorders had existed at that time and I filmed it,it would have supplied undisputable proof that they do exist.It closely resembled the mini-sub on the old tv series Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.

I turned my van around and proceeded to try and follow it out of town.It had gained altitude some,its speed increased,but you could still see the beams peering out into the night sky.It turned towards the south,and I took lake rd.to the south trying to catch up to or at least follow its track,and finally it started to zig zag across the sky and gain more altitude,until it flew towards the northeast and so far ahead we gave up the pursuit.

The next day I went to visit my best friend and told him about it,He said that when his mother came back from chuch that morning,that another couple in the congrgation had seen the same thing.There was another car at the intersection that night,sitting on State Rd.They could not help but see it as well,although we never colaborated our stories.His mother is still alive and she may be able to remember thier names.

Since that night I'm a firm believer in their existance,and dont doubt anything any have said they have seen.
