I noticed a light in the sky that was too bright to be a helicopter or drone or plane it almost look like the northern star, but brighter and a different color. It was orange yellow, and I park the car and continue to look at it and try to figure out what I was seeing. And then drops this little red orange light underneath it and then they both disappear so that led me to want to report it because obviously things don’t just disappear like that.

We saw a reflective object moving S to N, lowering in altitude, moving east, then change to flying east, then lost it.

Watched this thing moving from south to north over our house. (Seemd to be less than 9 miles away tward the south east of our position) It had reflective surface, glistening sunlight. It stoped (hovered) for a full min or more (using the roofline of our house as reference).Then it appeared to lower altitude, faster than a helicopter (using our roof line as reference). Stopped, then it moved to the north fairly quick, then moved east as I tried to video. It then elevates as it Flys east and we loose sight. From first sight it was about 5-10 min until we lost sight of it.

Very fast moving aircraft, silent and low flying, approximately 50-75 feet above ground

I was outside with the dog, who started barking. There were no other people or animals in sight. Then I saw a very fast moving, oval but slightly rectangular craft overhead increase in speed and suddenly move across the sky and out of sight. I thought maybe it was a drone at first, but it was absolutely silent, too large, and accelerated way too fast to be a drone. It seemed to reflect the light of the moon and street light, but did not have any lights on. It was bigger than a canoe, but smaller than a car. No aircraft that I know of could be that silent and close to the ground while moving through the air, or accelerate that quickly at a low altitude. I could not hear it at all, just the wind rustling nearby leaves. Then it flew out of sight past the tree line toward the lake.

I was at a appointment. I took a walk while I was awaiting another one. I was looking at buildings and something had caught my eye.

I studied it for about 7 minutes. It seemed to be something in the sky that I have never seen before. I looked on the internet when I got home but nothing about it was sighted by anyone else. People that worked there said what were you looking at? I said I'm not really sure. It wasn't a helicopter, a glider or anything thing like that. It went far away quick. The employees came out and it had vanished completely. The only reason I say it was a UFO because I couldn't identify it. I couldn't see people just the shape. There wasn't any lights.

“Fireball” of green light, vertically descending then rapidly leveling to fly horizontally and disappearing like a light switch snapped

I am an Air Traffic Controller working the overnight shift at a local airport. The night is extremely slow like any other as we typically stay open in case of emergencies, weather diverts, delayed arrivals or cargo planes. I was sitting kicked back in my chair and looking at an array of screens and equipment in front of me that are spanned out horizontally across a low sitting desk so I have a good field of view of the sky.

Its a clear night, visibility is well beyond our farthest reportable value of 10 miles. The lowest level of the trace clouds in the sky are 20,000 feet above the ground level. There are very few stars visible, and not a single airplane or even a radar blip of a moving object anywhere within 60 miles of me. These radars are accurate enough to often mistakenly pick up large birds momentarily, so there was surely nothing typical in our skies on this night.

Counting the minutes until my shifts end, gazing blankly across my desk and into the dark night, is when I saw what I have no other explanation for than a UFO. Like nothing I have ever seen before, what appeared to be one object with two vibrant glowing green lights in a fixed orientation next to each other appeared several thousand feet in the sky in a rapid downward trajectory. The object was definitely several miles away from my position based on my day to day observations looking out these same windows when there are dozens of airplanes in the area. But the size of the object being several miles away, appeared as large as an Airbus only a mile away, flying into the ground, lit up like a glowing green Christmas tree.

The object had appeared at what looked like several thousand feet above the ground, and within seconds it has descended to barely above my horizon view and a ridge line in the distance when it appeared to “pull up” like a modern aircraft would, but being its size and speed and trajectory, no modern aircraft would be able to pull up to a horizontal flight path that abruptly. Just as the object appeared to level, the lights vanished as instantly as any light would turn off from the flick of a switch.

I have never seen anything like this, there have been no signs or even a flicker of light anywhere in that area or the surrounding sky in hours… I have been spooked, chilled and at an uncomfortable loss of words since.

I was recording some shooting stars and ended up catching a ufo do a 90 degree turn.

I was driving home around 10:30pm EST with my roommate when I saw a shooting star. When we had pulled into the driveway I had seen about 4 shooting stars at that point. We then continue to sit outside of our house and watch the sky for about 45 minutes. I then began recording in hopes of catching a shooting star on camera. I continued recording in hopes of making a 10 minute video. Just after the ten minute mark I was about to shut off my camera when I saw a ball of light shoot across the top left of my cameras view. I was in disbelief so I ended the video and reviewed it.

Sitting outside smoking when I noticed a bright dot. Looked at it for a couple minutes because its not that often I see a star that early in the day. It begins to move slightly so at this point I know I'm not tripping. I ran into the house to grab my phone so I can record it. It than begin to do fast up and down movements to where I was losing focus on the camera. When I was able to locate it, it than begin to move left behind the tree I recorded for about 2 minutes but saved in 15 second increments.

flaming object over Syracuse NY

I would like to report a ufo sighting over Syracuse, New York on august 1st at 9 pm local time.

i was in my backyard and i saw what i thought was a plane flying overhead from east to west. as it came closer i noticed a strange orange flame surrounding the object.

i could tell it wasn’t just a plane on fire. there was no smoke trail and the flames weren’t behaving as if it was a plane on fire. the orange fire completely engulfed the object as it traveled across the sky.

I couldn’t make out the shape but i saw a dark object in the center of the flames. i can’t tell exactly how big it it was. it appeared to be the size of a small passenger plane.

It traveled along a straight level flight path at a constant speed, about the same speed that a small plane would. after a few seconds it then vanished.

Several second later i saw an identical object. the second object followed the same flight path at the speed. it was identical in every single way. it had the same dark shape surrounded by an orange flame. it disappeared at the same points the first.

Neither object made any sound. A small plane at a similar altitude would be loud and a larger plane at a higher altitude is usually very loud.

the entire encounter lasted for about a minute and then it was over.

Steady stream of red, slow moving lights in the sky.

My husband and I were watching baseball and saw lights moving in the sky outside the window. They were slow-moving, red, fireball looking lights, traveling in pairs and moving slowly without sound. More kept appearing.

Our neighbor came outside and observed them as well.

This continued for about 15 minutes. I have never seen anything quite like this in the night sky before - larger than stars and noiseless. Very strange.

VERY bright moving light that lasted a long time - Chinese space station?

I was looking at what I believed was a very bright planet, when I realized it was moving across the sky to the WNW. It was moving slowly and was about as bright as the brightest planet I’ve seen. I’m used to seeing all kinds of aircraft and have lived near airports and army bases most of my life. This thing eventually left a pinprick of a red spot but faded out before it had gotten far enough away TO fade out. I knew it wasn’t an airplane or a helicopter. I can only assume it was something to do with that Chinese spacecraft coming back into the atmosphere. This thing seemed to follow the curve of the earth. I am in a suburb with some light pollution, but it is VERY clear tonight, with the waxing moon fully visible. I am an amateur sky watcher and took basic astronomy in college.

brilliant Green fireball streak shot from cloud perfectly straight down toward ground. a flash in or reflecting off of the bottom of the cloud occured instantly after. There was no explosive sound of any kind. But two brief and very faint electrical surge sounds as the incident occurred.

I then noticed a few small pinpoints of light moving through the clouds at my 10 o'clock. It was making me a bit nervous. I began to notice more floating at my 12 o'clock. I stood still and observed the lights float overhead. One moved erratically for a few seconds like a fruit fly and then resumed its path. There turned out to be to many to try and count. They were all even in size and somewhat amber in color. They did not twinkle.

It was very unsettling.

was driving up the highway. today 12/15/2016 we got hit with a small strong snow storm and there was not a lot of traffic on the highway but me and a few cars. a UFO hovered and maneuvered over the highway ahead of us. my car shut off and electrical too and the other cars around me. the ufo stood like 200 meters in front of us and it vanished completely.

I tried to turn my car on and it did not want to turn on. I had to call triple A to jump my car. thanks to god it did turn on and the other drivers and me we were speechless and shocked.

I am a veteran and this is not the first time I encounter these events or seen ufos.

what makes it interesting its that right before it happen a loud air force jet flew around the vicinity. then that occurred.

Driving on 690, two flashing red/white/blue lights north towards Fulton and south towards Syracuse, then vanished.

As I was driving towards fulton on 690, I saw an intense blue/red/white flashing light. I thought it was a plane/sattelite, so I ignored it. I got around baldwinsville and saw it was still in a similiar spot in the sky so I got off 690 and watched it. I appeared to be moving slightly and getting brighter.

I sped home and I noticed a similiar if not exactly the same kind of light behind me to the south. I parked on route 48 with my brother and we observed to Northern light getting dimmed but still flashing. The southern light was getting more and more intense. It got very very bright and the northern light vanished. The southern light hovered in place for 15-20 mins and then turned around and got very dim.

5 Orange Starburst Shaped Lights,steady illuminance, no shape change,moving in a direct vertical direction and then horizontal

My husband and I were outside. He was sitting facing me. All of a sudden I saw three bright orange star shapes in the sky. I said to my husband GET UP LOOK AT THIS! - We continued to watch the lights, one moved up and then they moved towards our house and disappeared. They did not flicker like Airplanes and Satellites do , but stayed a bright orange. A few minutes later there were 2 more, they went in the same direction as the first 3. There was no noise, no change in shape. Very, very odd. We always have planes flying into Hancock Airport and Helicopters flying over. They have a specific direction and we can ALWAYS here them. These starbursts were silent and moved in a straight vertical direction before going over our house and into the clouds - Or wherever when they dissappeared.

I was driving on the highway from baldwinsville to Syracuse on 690, when to my left at about my 10:00, I saw to very bright lights in the sky that were not moving and looked like stars, despite it being a clear sky bright as can be.

I will say the shutter speed on my Nikon camera was 1/500. Can you help me identify the object in the photo?

Two flashing lights move together same direction and speed and then vanish

I wanted to report a possible UFO sighting. I had seen an exact same sighting just a few years ago. This one has the exact same flashing, floating, vanishing lights. The following is what happened tonight at about 9:10 p.m. May 17, 2016.

I heard a bunch of sirens outside my apartment, so I looked out to see what was going on and what direction they were going in. I live in a pretty big city and a bad section where there’s always something going on. I thought I had heard a car chase so that was what had me curious. It was twilight and the sky was that beautiful mix of colors -of dark blue, light blue, green, yellow, and then pink and red. I saw two lights in the far distance rising up into the sky. I could tell immediately that they were odd by the way they were moving and the way they looked. They were floating at two different spots. Blinking on and off. Red all the time and the white was flashing. I could tell they were on the horizon but not as far away as stars would be. They were not planes. They made no noise. They flashed on and off, moving at the exact same speed and in the same direction as the other. Then they simply faded, disappeared, vanished before my eyes. Just like the ones in 2013. I could not tell the shape. All I saw was two lights moving and flashing at the same speed, vanished at the same time. (I think it was 2013 when I went to Westcott Beach/Henderson Harbor/Sackett’s Harbor in New York State. We were camping and I saw a whole bunch of them floating across the sky. They vanished before my eyes.) It gave me a chilly, startling feeling. I see airplanes all the time since I live in a highrise and there’s an airport across the city. These were NO airplanes.

Orb of white light bolted up from ground to cloud level, stopped, then continued beyond the clouds, silently at ~mach 5.

I was walking on the sidewalk looking ahead of myself, when out of the corner of my eye I saw a white light that moved extremely quickly. I saw it in the top left edge of my field of vision. Then I turned my head and looked directly at it. It was a perfect pure white circle. There was no outward glow, but the circle was so lit that I couldn't see any kind of shadow on the surface indicating a shape. From my point of view it looked like a pure white circle, almost like looking directly at the sun or an LED. Imagine someone used computer graphics to place a perfect white circle in a video. That's what it looked like. I couldn't even be sure that it was an orb rather than the top of a flat disk, although for that to be the case it would have to be facing me perfectly. I concluded it's likely an orb. It was about the size of the sun or moon in the sky, so approximately 0.5 degrees. Very quickly after I looked at the light, it continued on the same speed and trajectory it was on before it stopped. There was no acceleration or deceleration as this light changed speed. It was either what appeared to be mach 5, or it was motionless. If it had not stopped below the clouds, it would have just been a streak of light across the corner of my eye.

There was only that one anomaly. I was on Milton ave in Solvay NY, by the woods next to the Solvay Fire Department, and to my left the horizon was a line of maybe a dozen trees that were lined up behind some houses. If you are walking west down Milton after the Fire Department, you will pass a forested hill on your left before reaching this line of maybe 6 houses with the about a dozen trees behind them just before reaching Woods Road. I was walking just past the forested hill when I saw the light move up at the edge of my FOV behind the line of trees behind the houses. I could see the white light being blocked by the branches. So the light rose from beyond the base of the horizon and the trees there, presumably meaning it was around ground level. Then in a moment it was just below the clouds, and instantly stopped. I looked at it and it kept going just as suddenly as it arrived. I was awestruck.

A mass, grey oddly circular shaped, came twisting out of the clouds for about 5-10 seconds and then receded.

My wife and I were driving to Syracuse, NY, and were approximately 9 miles from the Watertown exit on US 81. Time was 6:09 pm on Sept. 28. The sky was overcast, with a little sunlight still out.

The event was about 5-10 seconds, but it is the most vividly amazing thing I have ever seen. I mass of grey, that seemed circular in shape with irregular edges, literally came out of the clouds. It seemed unstable or experiencing “turbulence” and was making an almost twisting motion. The surface texture seemed rough, not smooth, and the craft was obviously experiencing some sore of turbulence. I took it at first to be some sort of meteor or rock type of thing. It was almost unreal, honestly. After taking notice, I alerted my wife and she too witnessed the perceivably large unidentified object twist through the air. The craft then receded to the clouds, of which we could still see the shadow of faintly. It then was gone.

There were no lights, and the craft of whatever kind had to be huge to be literally inside the clouds. It almost seemed like something out of a movie…I have always been extremely skeptical of these sorts of things. Yet, this thing was definitely SOMETHING and I have no idea how to explain it. Not a weather balloon, much to large. Definitely not a plane, there were no indications of shape or size of the sort. It was not hurling to the ground, so it wasn’t a meteor or anything of the type and there was no tail. The way it regained control of itself and receded back in to the clouds and the event of this object moving in the way it did were perhaps the most interesting and odd aspects. I really don't know what to make of it and my wife doesn't either.

The motorist spotted three as they slowly dropped down on the horizon. Then they were gone.

Large bright orange craft over Syracuse.

A large orangish red sphere hovered for approximately 10 minutes.

I called my boyfriend to the back porch when he also witnessed the unidentified flying object.

We watched as the craft moved slowly east to west when it paused and hovered for about 3 minutes.

The craft took off to the northwest as we watched before disappearing. It was overcast skies and it flew beneath the clouds so it was easy to see.

This was not a usual aircraft. It was completely silent.

Hello Peter!

The sighting happened at approximately 12:00 am this morning (Sunday) I did not get any video because we were kind of in shock as to what we were seeing. It wasn't until after we came back in that I realized i should have grabbed my phone.

I didn't even know I could even report it until I did some online research to see if we were the only ones who saw the object!!

I will definitely keep my eyes peeled to the sky and if it comes back, I will be ready to record it!!

Orange Orbs... at least 30 spotted over 2 plus hours during fireworks display.

My family and I went out tonight to see the fireworks here in Syracuse, NY... I think it was around [b]9:15-9:30[/b] PM EST.

We weren't there 3 minutes when my wife pointed something out to me and then I saw them over and over and over again.

Orange orbs.

As everyone else was fixated on the massive fireworks display that seemed to engulf the entire city, I was looking out for these mysterious orange lights. I kept seeing them and pointing them out to my daughter.

They were moving southeast but they seemed to be moving up as well, as they would disappear from sight.

But they kept coming...

It was getting a little creepy.

One of the orange orbs we were watching sped across the sky at a much faster rate than the others! As the fireworks died down, we were trying to determine if we would go home or try to seek out more of these strange lights. Well we didn't have to think too long about that as we kept seeing them all around and so we drove throughout the city trying to get close to them.

We saw two that looked like they would pass right over us and so we pulled over and that's where I got this one picture with my daughters phone as my battery was about to run out.

We kept driving around the city and kept seeing them... one off in the distance here... one there... two over here...

And then we all saw a beautiful cluster of four! I jumped out of the car to try and get a picture of the grouping but the phone wouldn't focus on them and I didn't get that picture. :( I have no idea what these were or if I'll see them again.

For a moment, as I was trying to come to some rational explanation, I thought of space debris burning up in the atmosphere as it crossed. These never 'fizzled' out though and they seemed to have a distinct pulsation to them.

In all... on this 4th of July, I believe we counted at least 30 of these things.

It was weird but very cool!

Craft spotted during fireworks show.

During the fireworks display at the basball stadium on July 4th, I noticed something strange hovering in the sky. It took me a moment to realize it was not of human origin. It changed colors every few minutes, as if just fading from blue to pink to purple to orange.

It moved in a way I've never witnessed before. The way it bolted horizontally super fast and stopped instantly. Or the way it moved completely vertical with ease. It was as if the craft were watching the fireworks show.

It was there for quite some time. And when the show finished. It simply lowered vertically super fast. And then it was gone.

1 bright oval shape and 2 acorn orange fireballs

My husband, daughter and I were on our way home from a cook out driving down Wolf St. When we noticed the fireworks show and decided to pull on the side curb to view the display. Upon seeing the display my attention kept focusing on the orb in the sky. It was just hovering so I thought it couldn't be a plane. May-be a helicopter? Can a helicopter fly that high? Wait a minute this thing is a oval shape glowing. Now I'm still in the car with my 2 year old grandson but at this time my husband and daughter were already out enjoying the festivities so I thought.

My daughter (21 yrs) knocked on the window and said mom" Do u see what I see?" I rolled down my window and said (I thought I was the only one. Record it and see what happens.) So she recorded this thing hovering,flying left to right, changing bright colors and eventually dropping out of site behind the trees. Then we left after that not caring about the firework display. Still questioning what we saw.

Then I look up above our car their were 2 acorn fireballs in the sky. They were flying at a perfect distance apart from each other bright orange. I tried to get my husband to pull over but he refuse. When we pulled up in front of our house the fireballs remained across in the distance. We stood out side no longer having doubts what we were witnessing. The fireball on the left flew to the left and disappeared within seconds. The one on the right remained about 30 seconds and appeared to follow the other fireball repeating the same path. We came in the house in a amazement. My daughter went to lay her son down for bed and I heard her say "MOM". By the time I got to the window they disappeared again.She saw 3 more fireballs in a triangle shape formation. Seriously!!! I may of had doubts in the past but as crazy and maybe even insane as this may sound I am now a believer.

Brilliant orange object, followed by another one 10 seconds later, then phased out.

I live in Chittenango, NY, and in the western sky over Syracuse, I observed these objects. The first one caught my eye because of the unusual bright orange color. It showed up a little below what I think is the planet Venus, one of the brightest stars in the sky right now. It was coming toward me at a slight angle.

Size and intensity both slightly greater than Venus. Witnessed it on a straight trajectory that lasted for 12 to 15 seconds. Grew in size slightly as it approached. Flew a distance of 6 inches on a ruler if held at arm's length across the sky before "phasing out" over 2 to 3 seconds.

About 10 seconds later a second one "phased in", flew the same trajectory for the same distance and time and then also phased out. Perfectly clear night, absolutely no sound, the brightest objects in the sky short of the full moon in the opposite side of the sky. I am a pilot and this was definitely not a plane or a jet's afterburner. Perfectly round brilliant orange. Never have seen anything that color in the sky, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

Reddish Orange glowing circular object over NYS Fair on Laborr Day

While at the NYS fair on September 1st, I saw a glowing red/ orange glowing light moving across the sky. I pointed it out to my nine year old son who also directed the attention of another woman to the object. She assumed it was a lantern, but I have never seen anything like this before.

We were sitting on the bleachers to the right of the youth center, facing towards the Ferris wheel. It was moving fairly quickly and hovered for a few seconds before moving towards 690. (It was traveling in a South East direction).

Star gazing with new refractor about MN, (note often see satellites passing S. to N. overhead, meteors, airplanes, and I know the difference), naked eye observation of very bright glowing orange object pass in strait line S. to N..

Unusual in that there was a very bright glow or cloud that was large surrounding it, not pin-point as in a satellite or plane but in angular degree probable about the size of my little finger nail or less held at arm stretch.

Shape seemed somewhat triangular but cloud like.

45 min later passes over again same speed and direction but brighter.

Assume dying orbit of satellite entering upper atmosphere?

In 45 years of star gazing never saw anything like it.

Friday, 08/29/14

Slow moving object spotted between 12:30 and 1:00 pm in Syracuse sky traveling east, then southwest and hovering.

Around 12 :45pm, I unserved ((sic. observed??)) a object moving across the eastern sky traveling at a slow speed. I pointed it out to my friend who saw the same object. another witness who could not see it right away but shortly spotted it also. It traveled about 1to 2 miles and then turned northwest.

It traveled about 2 miles and stop and hovered, moved slowly east and then back north.

The object stayed in the same area until a small patch of clouds covered it. After the clouds moved on the object was no longer in that spot.

Blue Orb UFO spotted flying over northern Utah

On September 12th 2013 I was up late working on the computer and I decided to take a break and let my dog out. Seeing a clear sky outside, I walked out with him into the front yard to check out the stars. As I looked back down to check whether or not my dog (Aussie) was doing his business (He’s a faker sometimes), I caught a blue light to my right in the corner of my eye.

I live near the shore of the northern end of the Great Salt Lake and I was facing south when I the light caught my attention. I immediately looked to the west and noticed a blue orb rapidly approaching from the west and heading due east. The orb was bright blue like a ball of plasma and had a glow around it. It appeared to be pretty high but still large. It took what I felt like 6 seconds for it to pass overhead a little to the south and cross over the rocky mountains to the east.

I’ve looked into how far my viewing distance was from my vantage point and It was roughly 50 miles. The 6 second fly over time would suggest an incredible speed. From the cirrus clouds that sparsely skiffed the sky that night, I would speculate that the orb was at 60k feet or more when It passed over and it made no sound. The light from the orb did light up the cirrus it passed over slightly but it appeared to be much higher than their level. I have no clue what it was and this was the first time I’ve ever spotted anything you could call a UFO.

Object with orange light, seemed to shape shift

It must have been around 7:50 pm. The sun had gone down, but it there was still some daylight left. It was mostly overcast. I was in the driveway seeing off my partner's uncle. I was watching them put their stuff in his car. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw what I initially thought was a piece of paper/cardboard ash in the floating in the air above me to the south. I immediately wondered who would be having a fire? I had just been in the back yard with my guests and we didn't hear anyone outside in their yards or smell any type of fire. It's also against the town ordinance to have fires in your back yard around here.

Anyway, I kept watching it, wondering what it was. When I first saw it, I swear it was flat. It was the color of burning embers. It was heading upwards toward in a Northeast direction, but heading more upward if that makes any sense. As it ascended, it looked different. It looked more like orange lights rather than burning embers. It was a weird light, almost had a metallic glean to it. I've never seen anything like it and it's kind of hard to describe. It didn't seem to look as flat. I called out to my partner's brother to look at it. He looked up and said "it's probably one of those Chinese lanterns". My partner's mother was also watching it at the time from my vantage point. It didn't look like any type of lantern to us. My partner's mother thought it looked like a plane having a hard time. But it seemed too close and it made absolutely no noise. By this time, my partner had come outside. She tried to start video taping it with her phone, but by t! his time it was pretty high up in the sky. It continued ascending and disappeared into the clouds before she could get her phone camera going. This all happened in the course of about 2 minutes at most so I assume it must have been going pretty fast.

I was motivated to write this after listening to you on a coast to coast show dated August 23, 2013. You mentioned that you would appreciate it if people submitting their sightings include weather information. At approximate time given I went outside my front door to observe a flashing stationary object composed of a red and yellow cluster blinking in a sequence of one second intervals over the area of Schiller Park(?) perhaps.

I thought it was a helicopter but it did not move at all and was composed of numerous lights of a bright and prismatic quality unlike a helicopter, it gradually blinked out slowly each a longer time until it just dissipated in the same stationary position.

I do not know what this was and it did not resemble any known craft or natural object I had ever seen. It did not move and it was blinking fairly brightly and then it winked out.

Flashes of white light in the Syracuse area, noticed around 11PM EDT, the night of 7/25/13

I was listening to Coast to Coast AM and I heard of a strange light sighting that descended and hovered for about 35 minutes and then shot up into the night sky and out of sight. This was reported to have happened around 9:15PM local time near the Syracuse area. A friend of mine was another witness to this phenomenon. The sky was clear outside last night and he said he had no idea what it could be.

My dad was coming home from work around 11PM EDT and had a clear view of the Syracuse skyline at certain points along his drive and said he noticed flashes of white light (several times) coming from the direction he was facing (East) almost like lighting –except there was no storm.

I was driving back from a friend’s house around the same time (about 11:15PM EDT or so) and noticed the same thing a couple times or so. I thought it was strange but brushed it off until I heard the report on Coast.

I believe the original report I heard on Coast to Coast AM via Peter Davenport that came out of Syracuse is related to what I saw/experienced not too long after the original sighting.

My hope is to add to witness testimony and confirmation of strange white light in the Syracuse area on the night of July 25, 2013.

Meandering bright light in sky desends and seems to land.

I live on the north side of the city near the Mall. Around the time mentioned I stepped out of my front door to get some air and the sky was clear and I I had a good view of the south an western area of it when I observed a rather bright red-orange light somewhat like a diamond shape but unable to be sure of its exact shape hovering in the south and coming closer to my location. I first thought it was a plane or helicopter that police use but it had no anti collision lights on it as per FAA regs and the whole thing seemed lit with up a strange light unlike a chopper. It hovered in the area then veered west slightly and desended fairly fast almost looking like it landed not far away. I was tempted to go and check it out but was too tired and it was too cold. It may just have been a kids toy remote controlled helicopter with a light on it but the light seemed rather bright for a toy. I guess its just Unidentified.

Nine orange lights ascending into western sky over Antelope Island

1/12/13 at approx 1230am I was on my back porch looking up at the stars. It was partially cloudy with several clear spots. South west from my location a large orange light ascending straight up into the sky caught my attention. After several seconds, it seemed to flicker out.

Just then 2 more came from the same spot as the first. When the fourth came up, I ran upstairs to wake my husband.

I opened the blinds just as the fifth and sixth came up. Then three more, one after another appeared, traveling the same path. They all came from the same place, ascended straight up, then either disappeared into the clouds, or just disappeared.

The objects initially looked like a rocket being launched from the ground. They never went back down, just up. I could not make out the shape other than maybe round or oval, they were just large, bright, very orange lights traveling at a fast and steady speed. They clearly came from the exact same place.

The objects seemed to have come from the area of Antelope Island, maybe even south west of that. I heard no noise coming from them when I was outside, and I have never seen planes or jets that were bright orange and silent. I don’t know what they were. I only hope someone else may have seen them too. Maybe there were more than the nine I saw?

The Mayan prophecy was supposedly going to happen when the clock hit midnight, so I sat up in bed while my family slept. As I looked over at my clock it struck midnight all of a sudden the house felt like it was shaking. There was a swishing noise almost sounded like a large object falling during that there was a bright light a reddish white color it grew brighter as the noise did.and then there was a boom my whole family jumped out of bed frightened they thought it was a asteroid or a bomb even .it sounded like the object had lost control and fallen. within a second of the boom a helicopter landed and within the blink of an eye left as though it was just cleaning what ever the object left behind. Here are some strange facts other residents in the area reported sightings on that date in main parts of the city. the landing zone was a residential yard on one of the main roads, no where near an airport.

went to move my car to the other side of the road in the city of syracuse. saw low flying lights moving east towards dowtown. the lights were small, orange, and were flashing. they seemed like they might have been diamond shaped but was hard to tell due to the small size. they were low flying and moved in 100% silence, absolutely no noise. there were about 20 and did not seem to be proceeding in any type of formation. i watched them move eastward until they were out of site. brought my mother out as well (home on break from school) and she also had no idea what they were.

Sitting at a play ground on Teal avenue in Syracuse, NY last night with My friend when we noticed things moving in the sky. We looked up and saw 6 groups of Circular orange orbs floating in the sky going west! Then six more & kept happening Till there was 21 one of them that had floated by. Medium orange & bright just floating west.

There werent any sounds or any blinking .. Just moving left and right .

They lasted for 10 mins and disappeared in the clouds. A street lamp kept flickering the whole time Till the last orb floated away from it.

Two different craft, broad daylight, shape and flight characterists inconsistent with any known aircraft

resending, as my paragraph breaks got lost, making it one nasty block of text...

Brief: While taking a cigarette break at my place of work, outside the building (side facing the parking lot, opposite from James Street), I spotted two different distinct airborne craft less than a minute apart, which exhibited shape and flight characteristics not consistent with any known manmade aircraft or bird.

(having had an unequivocal daylight UFO sighting in my youth, I will often specifically watch the skies, and spot birds and aircraft while I’m outside on smoke breaks during my workday. In 13 years working in this location, this is the first time I’ve seen something here in daylight that I could not identify, and thus qualifies as a legitimate UFO sighting) Sighting detail: I was looking up at the sky to the Northeast with the sun at my back, and spotted a black object of indeterminate size at a high altitude, at approximately 55 degrees above the horizon. At that distance, it was difficult to make out any detail, though it appeared to be elongated. By comparison, it appeared to be the approximate scale of a hyphen on a printed page held at arms length, ever so slightly thicker in the middle. No lights of any kind were observable on the craft, and it did not change shape as would a bird flapping it’s wings.

I noticed it because it was moving erratically, zig-zagging back and forth, and up and down. It would dart to the left, stop in mid air, wiggle up and down, dart back the other way, stop, and wiggle up and down. It did not move in perfectly straight lines, and its movement was jerky and appeared uncoordinated.

As I observed the erratic flight, I first said to myself, “wow, I’m actually seeing this!” Judging it’s travel distance back and forth when it was darting is difficult without knowing it’s approximate size or distance, but if it were the size of a sparrow, it would have been darting back and forth, from my left to right and back, covering a distance of at least 100 feet per second when it moved, with no noticeable acceleration or deceleration. It would be moving, then stationary, then moving again at high speed. I observed it darting erratically as described for approximately 25 seconds. Then it began to move smoothly at a high rate of speed toward the southeast, and became too distant to observe after approximately 15 seconds. I continued to observe the area of sky where it disappeared for a further minute or so, and saw it come back into view again momentarily, before vanishing again.

At this point, I returned to looking at the patch of sky where it had first appeared, and within about 30 seconds, there appeared a bright white cigar or disc shaped object, following the trajectory of the first object. This object may have been larger or closer to me, as it was much easier for me to see that it was an elongated shape. It had a much clearer “cigar” or disc shape, bulging in the middle, and tapered/rounded at the edges. It was moving at a constant high rate of speed toward the southwest, and left no contrail. It moved across the sky considerably faster than the jetliners frequently visible form this location, following exactly the flight path of the first object, and also receded too far to be visible after approximately 25 seconds.

Just before it disappeared from view to the Southwest (over Downtown Syracuse), a co-worker came out of the building and asked what I was looking at, and I pointed it out, but at that point it was too faint for him to observe.

When I first sighted the second object, I could see that it did not have wings or a tail, and approximately every five seconds, what appeared to be a large bright white light on the top center of the “cigar shape” would appear, fade up to very bright, (brighter than the object itself) then fade out again over the course of about three seconds. It did not blink, it faded in and out. This repeated at regular intervals until it was out of sight in the southwest sky. The object did not change course, and moved at a uniform very high rate of speed, faster than any plane.

At the moment the second object faded from view, a twin engine jetliner (appeared to be a Boeng Triple-7) was passing in an easterly path through the middle of the area where I’d observed the other objects, at approximately 8,000 feet. It’s wings, engines, horizontal stabilizer, and twin contrail were clearly discernable. It appeared approximately 3 times larger at that distance than the other two objects I had observed. I do not believe that either object was closer to me than the jetliner.

At that altitude, the jetliner was traversing the sky at approximately one forth the rate of the two objects I had just observed, meaning that if they had been at a similar altitude and distance, their speed of travel would have been, at minimum four times the minimum stall speed of such an aircraft, or approximately 800 Knots / 920 miles per hour / 1480 kilometers per hour.

Neither object made any sound that I noticed, nor was the jetliner loud enough for me to hear it above the noise of the city from that altitude.

(I do not carry a phone with a camera, and was unable to obtain images of the sighting. However, I'm am going to take photographs of the location, and draw on the photos to clearly indicate what I witnessed. I will also include an aerial photo map indicating observer position, and approximate flightpath of objects observed. I will forward those as soon as available.) (further notes) Witness background: I’m am a white male, 45 years old, professional. My vision is better than 20/20, based on my eye test for my driver’s license renewal earlier this year. I have never needed glasses or contacts.

In my 20’s, I was in the National Guard, assigned to a helicopter maintenance battalion, and I am well familiar with the flight characteristics and capabilities of both military and civilian aircraft, having observed countless planes / helicopters in flight. I have spent a considerable amount of time around military and civilian airfields, and aboard both rotor-wing and fixed-wing aircraft. I can tell the difference between a Sikorsky and a Bell helicopter in flight at a distance of several miles.

My older brother was a private pilot, and owned two single-engine fixed-wing aircraft, with which he gave me informal flight instruction, and I have flown both of those aircraft numerous times, also having performed unassisted takeoffs, and landings under the supervision of a licensed pilot. I have also been a passenger on numerous commercial aircraft. Given my experience with aviation, I consider myself to be a better observer of aircraft than the average layperson, and also reasonably accurate at determining the size, altitude, and distance of objects I observe in the sky.

Witness sobriety: Prior to this sighting, I had not had any alcohol for over 36 hours, and I do not indulge in any other intoxicants. This morning I had a cup of coffee and a couple of cigarettes.

Strange light/aircraft moved over Eastwood/Sedwick Farms. Did anyone else see this?

I had just gone outside with my dog before bed, and noticed a strange golden light in the sky. It appeared to be flying lower than an airplane or a helicopter, and was moving very slowly. It seemed to come from the direction of Eastwood and was moving through Sedwick Farms. At first, I did not hear any noise at all, but there was a significant breeze. Then, as it approached my house through the trees, i could hear it. It made a very quiet roar, much softer than that of an airplane. The light it was emitting was so bright, that I could not distinguish if it was one light or several clumped together. It passed over, and everything is quiet again. I am a scientist and a skeptic, and I have never seen anything like this. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't a bit shaken up at the moment.

What is hovering over lyncourt/eastwood/syracuse??????????????

This is the second thime i saw this object whithin a month on a cloudy night. I left my house and drove down court st toward the eastwood section of syracuse when i instantly saw this rectangle looking thing in the sky hovering low in and out of the clouds over eastwood-lyncourt area of syracuse,ny. It had white and red circle lights on it from left to right and the red lights look l.e.d-ish. not bright but not dim and the white lights looked a little blue. the airport is nearby and i ruled out any airplanes or helicopters because there was an airplane getting ready to land and that didnt look like any helicopter. There were about ten cars on the road around me. it didnt make any noise and i heard that they were testing drones at the airport but that wasn't any drone and why would a drone be out when passenger planes are trying to land?/! I saw the same thing earlier this month in the same spot around the same time. I tried to call my girlfriend but th! e phine didn;t have any signal until i didn't see it anymore and then the call went through. I am a very skeptical person but this is something i can't explain and i can;t find anything on the net about it but i did find a video of what im talking about on youtube..."ufo over syracuse" is the nave of the video and it sure looks exactly like what i saw.

Bright white light in the shape of a huge sphere over Onondaga County/Syracuse and moved very fast in all four directions.

It appeared to be a massive sphere... as big as a star in the sky. When i was driving i first saw it. It was emitting a huge white light.

After about 30 seconds of looking at it it shot up about 5 thousand feet in the sky in about .2 seconds. It wasnt high in the sky. Pron no more than 7,000 feet. There werew clouds out and it was in front of the clouds. It moved very smoothly like it somehow controled the gravity around it. It had cycles of where it was bright white to where it was yellowish/red.

If you where looking up in the sky it was a little below the tree line and above the horrizon. I also saw planes flying toward it.

The planes must have been 1/100 of the size of the obeject.

Then after about 40-45 min the light dimmed and I saw it vanish .

Orangey-pink orb that appeared to have a bright flame burning inside traveled over a lake SW to NE in a straight line.

We are out in the yard at the shore of a lake. When we looked up there was a round, orangey-pink orb that looked as if there was a bright flame at the bottom of the orb.

The orb moved from southwest and traveled northeast across the lake in what looked at a deliberate, straight line leaving no tail.

It seemed to be at the height that a small aircraft would travel. There was no sound.

As it got half-way across the lake, it entered the clouds and was gone.

About 15 minutes later, it happened again, identical in appearance, height, direction, speed, etc.

We didn't see it the rest of the evening.

UFO over Carousel Center in Syracuse, NY 10/14/2009

My family and I just had left the Sports Authority at Carousel Center in Syracuse. We got into the car and proceeded to drive towards the exit for 81 south. We were still in the drive around the parking lot when my wife screamed, "What is that, pointing out the window."

I pulled the car over and looked out and up. The UFO we witnessed was HUGE and black metallic bottom with several lights around the cross/weird shaped object. It was smokey looking around the lights, possibly due to the cold (40 degree) night sky.?

We watched it move slowly left and right as it went away from us at 5-10mph. (approx.) There was absolutely NO SOUND, which baffled me considering it was immense. I decided to try and follow it. I drove around to the main entrance of the mall and we saw the UFO again and it had picked up the speed a bit. We watched it head parallel to Hiawatha Blvd.. slightly SE/E. As we drove through the city down Salina Street, we all started to breath a! gain.

The last time I saw a UFO of this size I was 9 years old. I am 28 now, my wife is 25. My 3 children were in the car as well. One 7, second is 4, and my youngest (which I cant really count as a witness) is almost 1.

I called my dad, who lives in Orlando, Florida and told him and also called my brother who lives on the NW side of Syracuse to tell him as well.

I am simply amazed at what I just saw. My family is in awe and my 7 year old daughter was terrified. Simply spectacular.

huge red glowing round objects traveling horizonally at a high rate of speed with no sound

Sitting on the back of our boat at Main Channel Marina in Syracuse Indiana on 8/15/2009 at about 10:45 to 11:00 p.m. my husband, my granddaughter and myself along with 2 men on other boats witnessed a huge round red glowing object come up over the tree line traveling horizonally over us and as it traveled away from us the object totally went black and disappeared. There was no sound and it was traveling at a high rate of speed. It was so glowing it almost looked like it was on fire.

We were discussing that it was the most bizarre thing we had ever witnessed when 2 more objects exactly like the first one came over the tree line and traveled the same path as the first one. As they went over and traveled away from us they totally disappeared at the same spot as the first one.

Wonder if anyone else saw the same thing

extremely bright light moving back&forth southwestern sky Syracuse,NY disappeared upward

At approx. 06:20 on 02/09/09 I looked out a skylight window in my bedroom and noticed an unusually bright light in the sky. Not having my glasses on at the time, my first thought was that the moon was still out and was really bright. I put my glasses on and immediately recognized that it was not the moon, but very similar to a very bright star exceptionally far away. I then just layed there observing this "star". Upon observation of approx. a few minutes, it appeared that this "star" was in fact moving in a back and forth movement, to the right and then left. Being that I observed this through a rectangular skylight, I did have borders from which I could tell that this object was in fact moving. At that point I called to my wife and asked her to look at this. As she looked at it, I asked her if she could see it moving. She said that she could, and at that I said I thought it was a UFO. She responded "coming to get you"? She then went back to getting ready for work and I continued to watch, even having to reposition myself as this object had gotten to far to the right border of the skylight. After a few moments passed, I then noticed this light start to diminish. I assumed cloud coverage as it seemed to come in and out of light. It then disappeared. To me it appeared that this object went up as opposed to going any other direction. I continued to watch for approx. 15 minutes longer to make sure that cloud coverage wasn't hiding this light. My honest opinion is that this light was far to high in the sky to be a helicopter. I thought of trying to contact the Onondaga Co. Sheriffs' Dept. to inquire if they in fact had their chopper in what would have been the southwestern sky, but I didn't want to lose sight of it by going to the phone. A whirring sound above our house.

This was a sound. Sadly we saw nothing. A whirring motor type sound kept coming and going. It sounded like it went a few miles away, came back right above our house, took off again, etc. This went on non-stop from 04:00 to 04:30.

Cylinder shaped UFO high up in air . Commercial airliner performs extremely steep climb and then circles to apparently investigate .

We were driving at about 55 mph on highway 690-east going by the NY state fairgrounds . I noticed a commercial airliner performing an extremely steep climb which started fom a low altitude . This caught my attention because I've traveled this route my whole life and have never seen an airliner flying that low in this area . The airport is on the other side of the city . Anyway the terrestrial craft climbed till it was about an inch in size by my veiw . It then leveled out and circled . Thats when I suddenly noticed a cylinder directly above the centerpoint of the of the circular pattern that the plane was flying in . This thing was just sitting there or hovering or whatever . It was still higher in the air than the plane was . If this object was the same size as the airliner, it would have been pretty high above the plane like a few thousand feet . It looked like a polished silver beer can sitting on it's side . With no writing or lable on it of course .

I looked away to share in the excitement with my girlfriend who was in the seat behind me and with my father who was driving . I looked in the sky again about ten seconds since the last time I was veiwing and the object was nolonger there . Or just may not have been visible . I do not recall seeing the plane either during this second look . My girlfriend witnessed all of this incident as well and I doubt that the plane got zapped away . Just want to share this experience and see if anyone else reported this same incident to you guys or to the air traffic controllers at Hancock international airport .

I saw a very bright light in the sky that passed and then "shot off into space."

I was outside on my front porch, just smoking a cigarette. I'm one to gaze at the stars and simply enjoy the night sky. I sat looking at the stars and then it seemed as though one was moving kind of slowly across the sky. This did not look like a plane because it almost looked like a "bright star" was moving slowly across the sky. Then all of a sudden it seemed to "turn" torward me, and the only reason I say this 'light' 'turned' is because the light became a lot brighter and it looked almost like a huge spotlight was being turned rather quickly to an observer(me)...but the light not not shine far out. It was just a very bright light that 'turned' in a sense and sat for about 5 seconds and suddenly the object began to appear dimmer and dimmer. It seemed like although the object was "flying into space" at a very rapid speed. It simmed very quickly and soon the object was not visible, AT ALL. The was no doubt a UFO front my perspective. I watched it fly into space and away from the earth! I could not believe this. I would like to gain more information on what I saw and if there were any other witnesses in this area.

watched an unusual light in the sky for an hour on a starless night. moved slowly, changing colors at times, eventually disappears...

My boyfriend and I were on his bed watching TV. From the corner of my eye I noticed an unusually bright star, then I noticed that there were no other stars in the sky. We watched the light for about 10 minutes when we noticed that it was getting smaller and dimmer. Planes were flying by the object, and it was obvious that no plane could have hovered like that. It was moving but too slowly for the object to have been man-made, seeming to defy the laws of gravity. Occationally the light appeared to change colors, but mainly it was a bright white light. We watched the object for a good hour before it got smaller and smaller, and eventually disappeared.

Bright light in sky, and slowly dimmed out as it left atmosphere. I repeat that it left the atmosphere heading away from earth. There may have been a second but not 100 % sure.

From the last star on the big dipper heading westward (at position the big dipper was in at the time mentioned) near two other visible stars is where the object was seen leaving the earths atmosphere.

Saw bright lights on ufo as truck near it on I90West 11/30/04 unidentified craft over field looks like triangle.

Saw what appeared to be bright landing lights coming at the truck over the hills while riding on Interstate 90 West between Syracuse and the Weedsport exit on morning of 11/30/04 tuesday . I kept watching it and saw it was not flying it was hovering over a field and as truck went by it it appeared to be triangular in shape with a flashing white light on it's rear and a steady green light in front of the white flashing one.

In front was a large light array which dimmed to a dull reddish glow by the time the truck went by. It made no noise that I could hear and was just sitting in the air over this field. It was very dark that morning but it looked like a triangle shape against the clouds. We drove past it with no other incident.

Two points of light in formation glide across the sky.

Looking east out my 12th story apartment window, which was open, I noticed with surprise that the constellations Orion and Ursa Major were visible, just above the horizon -- surprise because I live in a medium-sized city with a fair amount of light pollution. The sky, then, was unusually clear (meaning that any stars were visible at all; I certainly couldn't see anything in the sky dimmer than major stars, e.g. satellites). I noticed a hovering red light in the distance -- a helicopter, maybe a plane. Then, two points of light entered my field of view almost directly overhead, travelling from west to east. My first thought was military aircraft, because the points, which were yellow, were travelling in tandem with a constant distance between them. Then the points of light veered away from each other somewhat before coming back together, essentially flying two gentle arcs before returning to their previous arrangement. I realized, as the lights vanished (not exactly over the horizon, but out of view), that they were travelling far faster than aircraft. That's it. I'm writing this because the lights seemed unusual; I'm certainly not conviced I saw UFOs. But I've seen plenty of shooting stars, airplanes, and satellites, and these weren't that.

i was walking my dog in my back yard it was a clear night there was no snow on the ground yet. as my dog was doing what she does i was looking at the stars like i always do. at first i thought i was looking at a satilite obiting the earth at a slow steady pace,then it paused and started to move in square triangular path at a high rate of speed. i ran into my apt grabed my video cam to try and record this. but cam would not focus. the object then started to zig zag side to side then disapeared. i didnt know were to report it and no body beleived me. then i found this sight and did some research to find someone seen the same thing i did.

Between 9-10 pm on 11/3/04 on a cloudless night, I happened to glance out my kitchen window facing north to look at what I thought might be planets but were probaly just bright stars. I then noticed a third light source which at first I thought to be just a normal airplane moving directly away from me as it did not seem to be moving much.

After a few seconds of watching this light source, it began to move in what I can only describe as erratic zig zag motions, ie. up, down, left and right at varying angles. It appeared to be covering large distances very quickly as it did this. This went on for at least 30 to 60 seconds before it left my field of view.

cluster of lights (with a few steaming out) flashing in serial order from red to green stayed in same spot, but appeared to be moving

We were looking at constellations when we spotted an unusually close knit cluster of stars. Upon further observation it became apparent to us that they were not stars because they were smaller than all the other stars and they were flashing in a serial pattern (one after another in order) from green to red color. The flashing made the object appear to be spinning perhaps, or atleast moving slightly, but as we watched (and as we checked on it throughout the night) it continued to be present and obviously out of place. As we are star lovers and fond of viewing constellations we knew that it was not something normally visable in the night sky. It didn't move rapidly or look like a plane and our only other thought was that it was a space station, but we felt oddly; uncomfortably certain that it was simply a U.F.O. Upon our first spotting of the craft our eyes watered... but that could be merely coincidental; however it was heavy tearing. The object wasn't bright enough to take a picture of and was barey visable in well-lit areas.

out of the sky at like 5:30 the object just appeared out of no where then it started to move... i looked at it and i was like... WOW ... so i grabbed my cam corder and recorded it.. now this is in 2003... but i filmed two more earlier in time in the same area and location ...i have those ones on video also...i wonder what theyre trying to tell me or US theyre like starlike figures shining bright ...hoovering thn they move after a brief short while..id like to work together with someone or ones on this im pretty sure i can get them to do it again and again... i think this is cool but i still dont know where they went.

oval dull lights - first there were two, one was flying right behind the other and flying in a circle then the back one caught up to the first one and there was only one. they then dissapeared. about half an hour later they were back but not over the same spot and there were three of them. we watched them for about 10 mins and then there were four of them. as we watched more appeared up to six of them. it was as if they were playing a game or something. they chased each other then would catch one and fly right behind it as if they were one. once in a while one would shoot across the center of the circle they kept making. after about 15 mins they then started to fly west of where they were then started to fly in circles again. this is happening right now as i am typing. took pictures w/digital camera but when i view the pictures you cant see them. when taking pictures my camera kept dying i thought it was the batteries but when i just came in the house the battery sign on the camera said full

something wierd happened

They were blue white kinda gray blue, Danced around each other some times they followed each other, other times they just danced around, like they were playing, they would come together and go apart. Some times there were 2 and 3 and then there would be 6 at a time. Then at one time a really big one and the little ones kinda danced around the big one we only seen the big one 1 time in about 2 hours time. They were fast. When we tried to use a camera the batteries acted like they were dead, so we went and called someone to bring a video camera and it went dead also very strange we checked the bateries and they were working in a game boy after this happened becauase we thought they were dead but they were not. The sky was cloudy and the lights just dance like they were playing with each other. it was wierd. We have seen this not onle once but a few times. And on Sat 20 it was about 4:oo or 5:oo p.m my nephew and son was standing out side and playing on the porch they were looking up at the sky they started to yell so my mom went out side to look it was light out side there was this thing in the sky it looked like lightining was coming out of the bottom of it it was round in shape it was there for about 5 min. and the lightining disapeared and then the thing disapeard real fast she has never seen any thing like it before. She said it wasn't a plane or any thing like that because it moved really fast.

three bright lights sighting

I was driving on top of a hill 5 miles south of Syracuse, NY. I saw a very bright white light, very low to the ground - just above tree level. I thought that it was a helicopter or something, so I slowed way down and kept looking at it. It had two less brighter lights on the back. I could not see any body form, just the very bright light up front and the two behind. It was not moving and I did not notice any sound. then, right before my eyes - I did not look away, I did not blink, it disappeared. It just vanished and I could see a much lighter night sky again. I mentioned this to a friend of mine that is a clan mother for the Onondaga Indians (Iroquois) and she said that there have been many sightings around the reservation and that her people have invited them to speak with their counsel of chiefs.

Fire ball spotted while on highway

Me and my friends were driving home from Snow Ridge and we were getting on the highway just outside Syracuse. We were in the back of my friends truck when this ball of glowing red appeared about 200 meters in front of us. We started to slow down to get a better look as we came just under the ball we quickly realized that it was only a about a hundred feet in the air. The craft then split into two parts. As we drove under the craft its stayed right above us as if it was following us. My friend took one of the high beam spot lights and flashed at it a few times. The craft got brighter and scared us all. Just then it took off very fast.

thin black line moving accross moon 10-30-01

hope you can help explain this mystery. I live in Syracuse NY and back on October 30th 2001 while my son was driving me home around 5:00pm/5:30pm we both saw something very strange. There was a full moon (or it looked full to us) and starting at the 4 or 5 on a clock going diagonally across the moon was a thin black line. It grew as it went across the very bright moon but stopped growing once it reached halfway then started to shrink back to nothing exiting at the 10:00/11:00 on a clock. There wasn't any air vapors before or after the moon and I tried to catch the news hoping there would be mention of it. We were on the road at the time (690 going east). It was the strangest thing I have seen in a long time. My son believe other drivers must have seen it too because the traffic wasn't moving at the 60pmh it normally moves at.

Hidden in plain sight amoung the clouds.

While traveling home on Rt. 481 I snapped a digital photo of a sunset cloud formation that looked like an angel sort of. I always photograph sunrises and sunsets using my digital camera. A few days after snapping the picture i downloaded the image to my computer and set it as my desktop wall paper. Low and behold i see a very odd and apparent ...something. Hidden in plan sight sight amoung the clouds is the see through outline of of 2 triangluar shapes. or one something with 2 triangular outlines. My view point is from east of the city of syracuse looking west over the city.

Triangular object with three stationary different colored lights moved at a swift and silent pace.

The triangle had three lights, one on each corner axis. One green, one red, and another yellow. No flashing occured. It smoothly slid across the sky at a fast constant pace, few clouds present, and no noise or vibrations. It appeared to be black. There was a surprise party for my father, everyone was inside wxcept the son of a friend.
