A yellow-orange orb appeared for about 10 seconds then proceeded to move away from us

As we were driving on sunrise service road south towards Gazzola drive we saw what appeared to be a yellow-orange orb moving very slowly or not at all towards the eastern sky. After about 10 seconds the orb proceeded to move quickly away in what appeared to be the east then disappeared suddenly leaving no trail. My father was in the car with me and also witnessed the same thing as me.

I was on the trampoline with my daughter we were laying down and looking at the sky when we saw these objects.

My daughter and I were on the trampoline at approximately 4:32 pm. We were laying down when we noticed what we thought were birds in the air. The elevation was what we think was the elevation of a airplane. We also, thought it was maybe a drone. We witnessed these objects for about a minute until they started to disappear. This could have been the result of cloud cover but we were out in the yard for an additional 15 minutes and did not see the objects return.

Large circular bright white light quickly crosses sky heading for land, with no light trail behind it.

On Thursday morning, December 21, 2023, my husband and I decided to get an early start at the gym. It was still dark outside. After a few minutes in the car between 4:45 am and 4:55 am, we were stopped at a traffic light facing west. We suddenly saw a very large circular bright white light appear in the sky. It looked like it was close to our location because of its size. The object was travelling very fast in a downward sloping direction toward what seemed to be a few towns over. The light appeared to be moving from south to north and traveling downward toward land. It was interesting because there was no trail of light behind the object, as a meteor or shooting star might have. It was also much larger and different looking than anything I’ve seen in the sky before. It lasted only a few quick seconds and then we could not see it from our vantage point any longer. My husband and I both turned to each other and said, “WOW did you just see that!?”. We’re curious to know if there are others who saw the same thing, which is what prompted me to send in this report.

Observed two UFO's hover above a fireworks show that lasted for over an hour and a half. One red-lighted craft slowly rose in the air like a firework, but continued to rise to about 1,000 feet above the highest firework. It hovered and moved in all directions and was able to stop on a dime.

This craft was soon joined by a second identical craft. The lights on both crafts turned green. Each craft had multiple lights. Eventually, after the fireworks performance ended (around 10:20 pm), the two craft slowly headed North until they couldn't be seen again.

We could only see the lights of the craft. They could have been drones. If so, they were expensive (high tech) ones.

Red Orb like lights, appearing and disappearing abruptly

I live near a lake in North Patchogue so the area is often clear enough to see fireworks on July 4th.

My sister and I walked a few blocks, arriving there around 10pm. As soon as we got there, we stood in front of the lake, facing north, and watched the fireworks until 10:10. Around that time I pointed out a glowing red circle in the sky. It wasn't any plane or aircraft I have seen before.

The red circle was still and not blinking like a plane or helicopter does. It moved from the northeast were I spotted it, across the north and after looking at more fireworks, moments later it suddenly disappeared.

We saw 4 or 5 of these lights before leaving. They all appeared and disappeared without notice. There were some clouds that night but after watching these orbs disappear behind the clouds they never reappeared on the other side, but instead disappeared abruptly. They were high up in the sky but were very bright and we did not hear any sounds coming from them. Each orb appeared in the east/northeast direction and moved North/Northwest. The most of these orbs I saw in the sky at one time were 2, one in the East and one North. We left around 10:30, with these orbs still appearing in the sky as we were leaving.

2 fast moving balls of red/orange light

My daughter and I just finished watching a firework show on our front lawn when we got up to go in the house and this very fast moving red/orange light caught our eyes it was moving west to east along the south shore. Then it just disappeared into the night sky. 3 mins later another red/orange light appeared from the same location heading west to easy along the south shore but this one disappeared behind the tree line and I couldn't see it again. A plane came by shortly after they disappeared but it wasn't moving as fast as the balls of lights, definitely couldn't have been an airplane of any kind it was moving way to fast I've never seen anything that fast.

While driving down the road, my husband first noticed the lights in the sky.

It did not look like anything we have eve seen so we pulled over and got out. They looked like stars flying in formation. They flew at a slow rate of speed and each disappeared as they passed.

The lights were up high, no sound. The light were mostly a light orange color.

They were heading in an eastward direction flying over Bluepoint Ny, which is right next to Patchogue.

I'm wondering which it could have been either military or UFO's.

4th of July sighting of 6 stange pairs of moving red lights in sky

They came in pairs of 2, in about 2-3 minute intervals and crossed the mile within 1-2 minutes. So for a solid minute we watched them pass. They were Orange/Red lights that were circular I believe?? More a blur or fuzzy light. At first we thought jets, but they were way to close together and moving at such a strange pace, almost dragging. They were also only light- there was no clear shape. Then...they just dissapereared into the sky. they were there one second then one by one they dissapeared. It was so strange and i was too scared to take a video. one girl got a picture, but no videos, we were all just too shocked. A few were screaming, scared, thought maybe commets. Anyway I just read some articles and saw video clips of others and that is EXACTLY what we saw. Strange and I wish I knew more!

Bluish White Sphere slightly sporadic in movement

I went out to smoke. same as i always do and as i have done in past reports. this time i went to the back of my truck which was parked in my driveway because it blocks out some light so I can see the stars better.

I turned west to face my house and looked up. I saw something moving very slowly and it was fairly bright in the North West sky. I tried to focus on it and see if I could see lights thinking it was a plane. but all I saw was a bluish white glow. and it was moving rather oddly. it changed its path, moving slightly up and down and also in a circular way.

This time i wasted no time getting my mom who came ready with the binoculars. she also commented on it's weird movement. it began heading over a tree which was directly in front of me to the north. I saw a plane come into view just under the object. and it kind of curved it's path a little upward as if to avoid the plane's space. once passed it continued a little more odd movement then began to dim then finally disappear.

It was too slow to be a shooting star and left no trail. It could have been an asteroid but it looked to close in the sky from other asteroids i have observed. And coincidentally happened only hours on the same day of something else I saw in the sky in daylight that was strange and also had reported.

I went outside to smoke a cigarette and look at the sky as I always do. It had been raining earlier and it was now clear sunny and windy.

I was in the driveway by my front door looking up toward the south west when i spotted what I thought was just a white Gull way up in the sky. It looked to be just floating on the air then it made a small circle and started moving in an unwavering line to the north east. It then looked to me like a small white sphere.

That's when I realized it definitely wasn't a bird. And it definitely wasn't a plane. There was a plane flying parallel to it heading passesd it and it in no way looked like the plane. nor did it stray from it's path when the plane had passed it.

I knocked on my door to get my mom's attention still not taking my eyes off it. I pointed it out to her. She got went to get me the binoculars but when she got back it had dissapeared behind a small wispy sloud and didn't come back out on the other side.

Starlike objects hourglass like shape moving sporadically

Saw faint light by moon. looked like a star at first. But it started moving sporadically around the rounder half of the moon.

I was in front of my house looking south over my neighbors' houses searching the sky and admiring the moon as I always do.

I've never seen anything like this before.

I watched it move around the round part of the moon for abou 5 minutes, then it started moving over the moon and eastward still very sporadic. Then as it moved out of the glare from the moonlight I saw about five or six other star-like lights around it still very faint.

It looked almost like an hourglass shape.

There were airplanes in the sky near it and it would zig zag from them. The movement continued to be sporadic and would go back west then turn back sharply east.

I watched it do this for about 6 more minutes and each time it turned back sharply east the other starlike lights I saw around it would fade and disappear.

The last minute I watched it continued rapidly east and completely disappeared.

I felt almost paralyzed watching this phenomenon and I'm still shaking. I wanted to get my mother to come out and see it too but I didn't want to lose sight of what I saw.

around 5 pm on Sunday Nov 7th I, my fiancee,my mom and my dad, saw glowin white oval object on the horizon as the sun was setting on a very clear day. Not a cloud in the sky. It was stationary. When I went to get my binoculars for a better look it had dissappeared just as a plane in the sky was nearing it. about 2 minutes later it had reappeared in the same spot and was then emitting and orange light then again disappeared just as quick. a few more minutes later it reappeared again emitting the same orange light and again, after another minute disappeared. After that we didn't see appear again.

It continued going straight up then slowed down then sped off fast again to the left this time.

The observer was driving his auto with a companion along route 27 on the service road east. An oval shaped object passed overhead, ahead of the observe in something of an arc-like movement. It was not particularly fast and the sighting lasted only 3-4 seconds but the movement was perfectly fluid and the object was a perfet oval with a perfectly silvery white hue. It was a perfect object.

Circular disks, two-tier object (small one on top) with large opaque “windows” on each tier. The windows that were all white on one tier and different colors on the other. Stayed motionless and soundless for about 15 minutes in broad daylight, then flew off into horizon. Appeared to be a few hundred feet in the sky and clearly observable.

large gold saucer seen over water tower in 1950s.

This event occurred in Patchogue, NY in the early 1950s and is a secondhand report, as most of the people who experienced it have since passed away. This is an event I heard described multiple times over the course of many years.

In the early 1950s in Patchogue there was a water tower in the woods west of Fordham Street and Nottingham Ave not far from where the current water tower on Waterworks Road now stands. My understanding is that the current water tower in that area is not the same one however, I could be wrong about that.

Kids who grew up in that area at that time used to run through the woods, which were more extensive then, and play. The base of the water tower was a favorite spot for the neighborhood kids to hang out. Many of the residents on Fordham and Nottingham had been there since the 1910s, and in some cases were second generation living in that neighborhood. Also, the water tower was visible from the front or back yards of many of the homes on Fordham and Nottingham.

One day in the early 1950s, a woman who was a second generation resident of that neighborhood was hanging laundry in her backyard while her three young children quietly played. She happened to look up at the water tower an saw what she described as a large gold disc hovering above it. She stood observing it for several minutes. The circumference of the disc was greater than the circumference of the bulb of the water tower and was described as “a large gold saucer”. The disc shot off, disappearing at a high rate of speed.

Two of this resident’s children remember the saucer. One described the saucer as the resident did, the other claims to have only seen a gold flash as it moved off at a high rate of speed.

The resident also stated the following, “I don’t know who those people were inside it but, they weren’t from here”. Neither of this resident’s children with memory of this event claim to have ever entered this object. This resident never responded when asked if she had entered the craft. When asked how she knew there were people inside the object and how she knew they weren’t from “here”, the resident seemed to be holding something back, as if considering what to say.
