my wife and i saw a silver cylinder object traveling east at about 15000 ft in the sky about the size of a car it did not have any wings, did not leave a smoke trail, and made no noise. it was moving at such a high rate of speed that within seconds after it flew past us it looked like the size of a tiny dot and then it was not visible to the naked eye. i regret not having my cell phone with me at that moment.

me and my wife were skeptical until we saw this with our own eyes.

Fireballs hovering in the sky. Bright yellow or orange.

Light would go out on one and then turn on on others. Very big.

Crafts did not move when illuminated, moved when the light was off.

Completely illuminated orb. Very bright.

UFO sighting over Greece NY (Rochester area) - red fireball

Leaving a friend's home in Greece NY when my wife and I spotted something come up over the horizon on the east. At first it looked to be going straight up, and I thought it was a red firework. It straightened its path and flew directly over our heads, appearing to descend at one point and then ascend as it went out of sight in the west. Consistent speed, no noise whatsoever. The absence of sound was striking because it appeared to be traveling at such a low altitude, had it been an airplane we surely would have heard something.

The light wasn't solid or blinking, but almost flickered. As it went directly over our heads we both said it looked as if it was on fire. This led to speculation of a hot air balloon but it was traveling way too quickly.

cylindrical shaped object, due west in western NY sky, revolving green, red and white lights...

I went outside for a cigarette at about 11:15 pm, I always star gaze and as I was observing the beautiful night sky (uncompromised by the city lights out here) I noticed one star was twinkling a bit more then the other’s. As I watched it I realized that there was a ring of lights; green, red, and white that were swirling around it.

I ran inside to grab my low grade binoculars which offered only a small increase in size to the object. I could see it wasn’t saucer shaped but rather cylindrical or barrel shaped almost swelling in the center where the lights were.

Normally this would have been the “fools gold” of UFO’s eventually revealing itself to be a plane when it changed direction. This I stayed and watched for the better part of a half an hour. It did not move, or change its position in the sky. It stayed a consistent level on the horizon at about 35-34 degree’s due west.

This is definitely no plane, no star, no planet, and no satellite. Which is the normal checklist for any rational person to run down when distinguishing anything to be unidentified.
