Materialized and disappeared

Was driving home from work late at night, pulled up to a red light and it seemed to materialize in the sky, it had a pointy front, square sides, no wings and was flying tree level and entirely silent. It zipped past the sky almost as fast as a shooting star and it was gone. I couldn’t tell if it was a dark gray color or black, because the street lights are very dim in the intersection that I saw it.

Coming home from getting food, there were multiple, aircraft’s hovering in the sky. Not stars they were in the atmosphere.

As I was coming home from getting food, my friend in the car said stop look at that, and my face grew a ghastly look as I saw at least 6 or 7 floating orbs of light relatively close to us in the sky, low enough that they sat underneath the clouds. We stared for a solid minute as they sat completely still in mid air (which as far as I’m concerned is impossible in terms of aviary drones or jets.) and in the mere blink of an eye one by one they started moving in an exact order to the left one by one disappearing in the clouds. I knew they weren’t any form of space shuttle because I could see their glow still moving in the clouds. Like they were surveying us. The entirety of that night I felt a gaze upon me. I didn’t know where else to look but up. I think they are still watching me.

15-20 lights in the sky

15-20 lights the size of the planet that is very visible in the western sky, moving southeast in an extremely straight line but all lights were not evenly spaced between each other. The speed of each object was the same and they travelled at the same speed as a fast moving airplane. The one that led the line faded away as if going into a cloud but it was a perfectly clear night with zero clouds. After the lead light faded away the next one in line then faded away. Every light seemed foggy despite it being clear outside. I ran into the house to get my phone when there were 15 left, when I was ready to take a picture there were 7 left.

Last night me and my girlfriend were out looking at the stars and we saw an odd thing it looked like there was about 30 lights about a mile to a mile and a 1/2 apart going from West to North East consistently went on for a about 15 minutes One of the lights separated from the others and went in a totally different direction. It was like a conveyor belt we would look and another would appear move across the sky and fade off. At any given time you could see 3 to 4 moving thru the sky at once. Always the same distance apart. Never any blinking or flashing happened

Pulsating light over the Chipotle Plaza started white and pulsated into a reddish yellow color lasting 3-4 secs and 2 secs in between.

Pulsating light over the Chipotle Plaza started white and pulsated into a reddish yellow color. There were 3 total pulsations with 2 seconds in between each, and looked like it was coming from behind chipotle but overhead. Each flash lasted about 3-4 seconds, too long for a lightening flash. We checked the forecast and there was no radar evidence of storms. It was 27 degrees so lightening is unlikely. The observers were 3 females and 2 males all walking into the plaza at the same time. 2 were still in a car facing the plaza. The other group commented on the light and that’s how my group noticed it wasn’t just us who seen it.

Just throwing this out there, at approx 6:09pm eastern time january 23rd, 2016, my wife and i were driving home from niles michigan to dowagiac michigan. I noticed that as the full moon inched above the treeline, the moon appeared very large. I made comment about wanting a telescope to view it. Minutes later I saw a black line crossing the face of the moon. The line covered approx 5% of the visable moon, refrencing the moon to a clock, the line began at 10 o'clock and move toward the 4 o'clock position. The "front" of the line was rounded. i pointed it to my wife. She stated that from the angle and its position it was not a powerline. We watched as we drove, the line completly crossed the moon's face and seconds afterward the "tail" appeared moving from 10 o'clock to the 4 o'clock position. The line remained straight the entire time and moved in uniform speed.

As the tail moved away from the moon's face it disappeared. My wife and i began rationalizing what we just saw trying to explain it away, but could not. A few minutes later, the line reappeared at the 1 o'clock position. The size had not changed and the angle it traveled across the moon face was the same. This time it decended from 1 o'clock to its original position between 10 and 4. It only covered the right half of the moon during this transit. When it reached its original position between 10 and 4, it exited via the 4 o'clock position.

Once we lost sight of the silhouette second time, it never returned.

very bright 1 foot in diameter ball of artificial light traveling at high speed over Niles, Illinois

A very bright, white, "cold," LED-type light ball, moving in a very straight line, parallel to the ground East to West, between Shermer and Harlem, approximately 200 ft above the ground.

The object travelled about 300 feet at a very high rate of speed, and then the light was extinguished gradually but very quickly (less than 1 second). The ball was approximately 1 foot in diameter.

I’ve considered both a “shooting star” and a meteor, but their trajectories are sloping towards the Earth. Also the type of light was definitely superficial.

The visibility was good enough to notice if the light was attached to an aircraft, however there was no object visible once the light vanished.

On the evening of July 3rd, 2015, around 9:50 PM, a friend and I had a sighted something that neither of us can explain. We went to watch the fireworks at the local high school in Niles, IL. We went to the 3rd story of a parking garage for a better view of the fireworks with a number of other patrons. We were about 300 yards away from the firework display, and randomly noticed 2 green lights with a single white flashing light on the object that we could not physically see outside of the light display. We had found it curious, as it seemed to literally be spectating the fireworks while hovering/sitting over the show. My friend and I actually went into debate as to whether it was a UFO or a helicopter. I originally put it off as a helicopter, because generally speaking, that's what sane people believe.

It started to catch our attention more as the green lights both turned red. It was unlike any normal aircraft that we could think of. Obviously, since it was sitting over the fireworks, it could not be a plane. And usually the lights displayed on a helicopter stay consistent and do not change at random.

What happened next is what truly makes me believe that we saw a UFO. It went from sitting in one place to my friend and I watching it dart across the sky directly east of where we were stationed. It quickly changed direction and again, changed color from green to red, and turned from left to right. Again, it changed to green as it looked to fly into the tree line about 5 miles away. I did record the event as soon as it started flying away because of how much it intrigued me. With that being said, I recorded a 29 second video of the occurrence. We have seen a number of planes tonight since the incident, and this object was going at a much quicker pace, and moved extremely quickly while changing direction unlike any flying object I have ever seen. In addition, even with the random increase of speed, you did not hear a single sound, which would be assumed by an object moving at that speed.

So I am 14, so obviously I still live with my mom.

last night I was doing my daily chores, dishes, laundry, trash, ect. but when I went outside to take the trash barrel up from the curb, because I hadn't done it that morning. I saw flashing lights in the sky, and normally I wouldn't believe in supernatural activity, but when I saw the green, red, and blue, flashing lights. I knew what I saw. It definitely wasn't an airplane, or anything of that sort, because I would've been able to hear it. This spherical figure in the scy was abviously not from this planet, or whatever. before I could take out my phone it was gone .

The same thing happened when I was about nine, I was in my back yard in the winter, sledding down my hill, and as I was going down I saw it, the same thing I saw yesterday, in the same spot too.

at the time, I didn't pay it much mind, because it was there for a while. and I remember it vividly.

until yesterday I never really thought too much about it.

this morning I was talking to my little sister, Meadow, ( Seven ) about it, I asked her if she had ever seen anything like it, and what she said shocked me ..

I was visiting my mom in Oak Manor on Monday, 12/29/2014.

While we were in her back yard with aour dogs after lunch, I spotted 2 cylinder-shaped UFO's traveling East toward Dowagiac, Michigan. As they went into a big cloud a group of 10-12 small spheres came out of another huge cloud.

At first we thought they were birds but they were way to high up to be bird's. As they came closer we realized they weren't birds they didn't have any wings. They were silver and sphere shaped moving in formation going northwest.

We watched them for about 15 min until they were to far away to see them clearly.

My mom had never seen anything like that in her life and would be watching the sky from now on.

I wish I would've had my camera with me. Hopefully someone got a picture of them.

slow moving object is joined in pursuit by another object, a plane of sorts, with a blinking light and then the solid light leaves.

Soon after my birthday, my mom and her friend went to Mexico, leaving me home for a week by myself. as I often have knee troubles I decided to soak in our hottub outside. my girlfriend walked inside to get us something to drink and my cigarettes, and I leaned back and say a steady light. at first I thought it was a plane since it had a light on it, but then I noticed it wasn't blinking. I watched it go from almost directly overhead to about a 65 degree angle at low speeds. (assuming 90degrees is straight up.). However the oddest part was the accompaniment of a aircraft that had a blinking light that caught up to it. as the second aircraft caught up, on this clear night I watched the solid light object go from 60degrees to around 45 degrees at a much higher speed than the blinking light could. it left it behind and they never caught back up to eachother. my only problem is I didn't know till recently that only military aircraft in a wartime zone could change their lights to off or not blinking otherwise it was mandatory to have signal lights. the light was a solid white orb. not very big, but was about 2x the size of the blinking aircrafts lights. I couldn't tell if the object made a sound or not seeing how the other aircraft did. but I know it didn't change color didn't blink just kept moving slowly then quickly.

Disk object hovering over my head!

I was working at the time of the occurrence, around 4:30am.

I was delivering papers when I saw this disk object come my way. My sister and I parked over and got out of the car to take a look. It was about 150 feet above our heads. It was a dark disk, that emitted white, orange and red lights.

It traveled very slow, almost as if it was hovering to gaze below. As soon as it crossed a tree and we had no visual anymore, so we moved to try to look at it again find. Literally 5 seconds later, it was gone. Almost as if it vanished.

Shortly after, we saw a black helicopter travel the same way. It didn't make any sound as it past us. It only emitted white beams of light.

At the time we noticed car alarms were flashing. Almost as if this disk set it off.

We never saw them again that night.

Police Officer observed 2 silent red spheres with shimmering white halos moving east in "wing-man" formation.

Here's my report to MUFON: I am a Sergeant with a state police agency; while on patrol on a side street near the 8700 block of north Milwaukee Avenue in Niles, Illinois, on the evening of Thursday, 07/03/2014, at approximately 2315 hours, my eye was caught by two (2) pulsing round red lights in the SW sky, one on top of the other, which appeared to be a cell or water tower in the vicinity of Maryhill Cemetery. This caused me to do a complete double-take, because I know there are no such structures in that area. When one of the objects began moving slowly from west to east, and the other followed in a "wing-man"-type formation (slightly behind and further south than the object to the forefront), I thought, because of their basketball-like appearance and large size, that they were helicopters of the "bubble-cockpit" variety, flying low on the southern horizon.

I parked my squad car and shut off my engine and all lights, and exited my squad car to observe the aircraft. As soon as I got out of my car, I realized that these were not helicopters, and were much farther away and larger than I originally thought. There was no helicopter sound whatsoever in the relatively quiet night air, and the presence of many airplanes in the sky (Niles and Park Ridge are under major flight paths in and out of O'Hare) provided me with an excellent contrasting point of reference to what the UFOs at least "were not."

The objects glided eastbound, slowly and deliberately. They were basketball-sized spheres, approximately 5-times the size of the strobe lights on an airplane, with a shimmery white halo completely circling the sphere. The red light was unlike anything I have ever seen, having a pulsating, almost "liquid" or "living" appearance, and glowing, rather than piercing the night sky. The white light appeared like an aura (similar to the heat you see emanating from a rocket or jet engine). I was awestruck!

When the first craft was almost directly in front of my line of sight, the spheres both suddenly "receded" quickly up and into the western sky (back where I first saw them, but much higher). The UFO that was offset to the rear disappeared so quickly that I barely had time to register that it was gone. The craft that was more "in the lead" receded up and back to the point that it looked like a red star, and then blinked out of sight.

I saw that there were two adult male citizens, one African-American and one Caucasian, looking up at the sky from a residential driveway across the street and south of my location. I approached them and we all verbally confirmed that what we had seen had not been fireworks or flares of any kind, but were definitely very large, unidentifiable aircraft.

We were all very excited. I remember that my emotions were in a "condition red" or "high alert" status - I remained in this psychological state for many hours after the sighting. The African-American citizen kept repeating "warp speed! they took off into space at warp speed!"

Two things I would like to point out are that, 1) for the 20 minutes or so prior to this sighting, I was unable to connect to the internet on both my Blackberry cell phone or my in-car Panasonic Tough Book Laptop with Verizon air card.

Five minutes after the spheres ascended out of sight, both my telephone and in-car computer came back online. 2. I did not think to take photos of the craft because the camera on my Blackberry produces very poor quality photos. I've tried to take pictures of the full moon in the past, and they come out as a blurry white pin-dot of light.

I am working on getting a record of any 911 calls for suspicious lights in the sky during this time period.

State policeman and two oters observed large lights that looked like on a water or tower, but no tower.

Large circular orange light flying across the sky

My husband and I went outside to watch nearby fireworks, and I noticed an orange light that didn't appear to be a firework as it was not moving. I then asked my husband what it was and he replied it could be a helicopter.

Then we both noticed that it started moving across the sky with no sound and no other lights which we thought was a bit odd. Living close to an airport you get to notice small details which might get missed.

My husband and myself watched the light which blinked twice move across the sky at what looked to be a high altitude until it was out of sight this lasted 3 or 4 mins.

There was only 1 object of the shape and size in the area at the time it was bright orange and didn't move like a regular aircraft.

There were at least 3 regular airplanes in the area at various altitudes. From our location the object looked to be about 1 mile away.

3 Fireballs Spotted in Triangle Formation Spotted in Niles NY 8:44pm 08/20/11

Driving North on 38a past Cream Hollow Rd at approx 8:44pm looking straight north, saw 3 lights hanging in the sky still as a picture just beyond Owasco in almost perfect triangle formation.I pulled over to get out my camera and was passed by a car who I think saw it too. It was gone by the time I started my camera up. There was cloud coverage and no stars. They were like lights just hanging there bright and vivid then kind of burned out one by one. First sighting I have ever experienced. Would love to know what it was something military or natural but I'm not finding any good info to prove it.

5 dancing lights in the middle of the night.

I woke from sleeping in a tent and stepped out to use the restroom sometime in the middle of the night. When I looked up I saw three dancing lights, all in sync with each other toward the East, like a triangle. Then I looked North and saw one. Then to the West and saw one more. I watched them for about 5 minutes, used the bathroom, then went back to sleep in the tent. They were a bit brighter than stars. I have no idea how close or how far they were. Due to trees I could not look to the South. It was strange.

V-shaped craft observed over northern Chicago suburb.

The object first appeared in the southwest bearing northeast. The sun had set at about 8:31 p.m. and some ambient light remained near the northwest horizon. In addition to this light, ground light also added light to the night sky so that the sky was not totally dark.

I first noticed a rippling in the sky out of the corner of my eye. Drawn to what was causing this phenomenon, I looked at that area of the sky and was able to discern the object.

It was impossible to judge the size of the object, however the appearance of its width in the sky was approximately slightly larger than the width of a full moon.

The craft was completely silent and no exhaust could be perceived. It had no navigation lights. A very slight perturbation was visible surrounding the craft--a rippling of the atmosphere. This phenomenon was similar to that observed when heat waves are rising from asphalt on a hot summer day.

Shortly after the craft passed the zenith, it turned towards due north with no perceptible change in speed. Unlike a conventional aircraft that would have had to bank to affect a turn, this craft simply turned without banking and changed its vector smoothly and rapidly towards the north.

Based on my observation -- which lasted no more than 12 to 15 seconds -- I believe this craft is an advanced U.S. Air Force stealth platform designed for secret aerial reconnaissance missions. It uses an anti-gravity propulsion system, perhaps electro-gravitic. When it changed its vector it was obvious that the "wings" were not used to keep the craft airborne. The wings were not needed to provide lift or employed as an aerodynamic airfoil. This was demonstrated by the fact that it did not bank when executing its turn. Three dimly lit gray circles under the "wings" were what seemed to provide its "lift" and propulsive force.

Because of the luminosity of the night sky the object was easily discernable once I spotted it. The craft seemed to slide rather than fy through the night sky.

What is also revealing is that this craft flew directly through the TCAs (terminal control areas) of two major airports: Chicago O'Hare Airport and Chicagoland Executive Airport (formerly Palwaukee Airport) the nation's busiest executive airport without any alert that I heard of later.

I'm familiar with both civilian and known military aircraft having attended flight ground school and obtained a private pilot's license for fixed wing single-engine aircraft back in 1977.

I made a drawing of the craft in photoshop shortly after my observation so the details would be fresh in my memory. I will email a JPEG of it to you.

Playing having fun then I saw the craft and a bright shine and away it went.

The object that I saw was like a disk it was hovering about 10ft from the ground. It was gray and spinning at quite a speed then a very bright color changing light came from the bottom of the craft blinding me it also made a very load wish sound and then I looked up and it wasn't there I was just standing there in shock.

Please help me find out what it was.

In early December of 2007, I saw two fuzzy, glowing white orbs above the parking lot of my place of employment, a West call center in Niles, OH. It was around 10:20 pm, and I observed them for approximately 5 minutes, until they disappeared. They appeared “medium sized.” I do not have an estimate of height, but I believe the sky was overcast, and they would have been below the level of the clouds.

I wondered if they might be spotlights, but at no time did I see any “leader” lights extending between and orbs and the ground. I had an impression of sentience from them. To me, the most interesting thing about these orbs has always been their way of moving around, which was instantaneously.

My sighting began by seeing one of the lights in the sky. As I watched it, a second identical orb appeared next to it. After a while, one of the orbs disappeared from where it was and instantly appeared in another part of the sky. Then the second orb moved in the same manner to appear next to the first. This process repeated to another part of the overhead sky. After a while, first one of the lights disappeared, and then the second. I consider this my one and only “UFO experience.”

Bright light, cigar shaped, two sets of wings, little sound just at dusk over my farm.

I first saw a very bright light to the west of me high in the sky, so I thought it was venus or another planet. Then I noticed that there were thick clouds and I couldn't see any stars, etc. I watched as the light came closer and was coming directly over my farm. It was an extremely long round shape, like a cigar. Wings straight out that looked too little for the long craft. Behind the first wings were some square shaped ones with the corners cut off. There was a space between the first regular wings and these wings. Then a regular tail, with center part straight up and the two parts on each side, not swept back or at an angle. As it got almost over me I noticed two smaller lights on both wings, they were not bright at all. It was so round and long, that I thought if there were pilots in there, they would have to sit behind each other. I did hear a sound, but don't know if it was a jet or props. No sonic boom. It looked to be a yucky green /gray color..Coming from Chicago area and traveling west. I have looked at over 700 photos of airplanes on the internet and haven't found any that match this. The closest to it is the U 2 spy plane. But, it didn't have the bright light in the nose of the plane like this one. Why would they need such a bright nose light. Also their wings were longer. This happened right after they gave up loooking for the mountain climbers in Oregon, so I thought it was a heat seeking plane? I saw no other lights. Since I can't find this plane: thought perhaps you could help me figure out what it is. Can't get it out of my mind. so wrapped up in looking at it, didn't think to get my camera.

Object moved horizontally across the sky, seemed to change shape and then disappeared

I was traveling east on Rte 422 in Niles Ohio at approximately 2:30 pm. I stopped at a traffic light and was looking around while waiting for the light to change when I saw a small cigar-shaped object traveling horizontally across the sky in front of me and towards the south. I nearly dismissed it as a plane until I realized there were no wings. It was very bright silver, vivid against the daylight sky and the sun seemed to be glinting off of a spot on the left (back) end. I watched for several seconds while it continued traveling in a straight flight path.

Then, it shifted, looked like the right (front) end bent in toward the center, the glint of the sun changed position from the left end to about the center, the entire object rippled once and then disappeared completely from the sky.

At this particular intersection, there are buildings and billboards, but none of them were high enough to hide the object and the day was clear, the sky without clouds.

3 extremely bright lights all in a row hover above trees on side of road, move, then come back, then take off in seconds.

My Daughter and I were driving home. Immediately when I turned onto the road, we saw something hovering in the sky. It was about 40 or 50 feet above the trees, right on the side of the road where we were driving. It was 3 extremely bright lights, all in a row close to each other. I could not see the craft itself because the lights were so bright in front of it, but I would say the lights were on 1 craft and not 3 seperate ones. The lights were not shining straight ahead, or pointing straight down at the ground, but kind of in between. They looked like huge spotlights and illuminated the sky and trees all around it. The lights were white. I pulled over on the side of the road to watch it. After about a minute, maybe a little more, it moved a few blocks west pretty rapidly, still at the same height. Then came right back just as fast to the origional location. When this happened, I got scared and put the car in gear to drive again. As I was doing this, It flew south and up higher and was out of sight within 4 or 5 seconds. There was no sound from it at all. I know other people had to have seen it. It was above houses and it would be hard to miss such bright lights out your window. Another car behind me pulled over and watched it too. A truly amazing sight to see.

Objects were soft blue in color, formation appeared as fuzzy clouds. They did not make any sound, hovered and frequently criss crossed each other as well as taking seperate flight patterns of their own. Both were first seen in a field hovering together until I began walking my dog in the field then they began to follow me all around the trail and continued to follow me up my yard to my house. They hovered over my house until I came out with my other dog and my father and continued following us down the yard. They appear to be looking or searching in a particular area, not straying far from the field. Currently I am viewing airplanes going towards and near the area of this phenomenon, and the objects do not go away. They are still hovering as I am typing this which has been now over an hour.

Background of observers: We are a family of four adults and two school age children and we have all witnessed the above mentioned matter. We have also notified the police but have not found out if they have gone out to investigate.

We have a relative that works at the Vienna Airport who has heard of sightings before, but we have yet to talk to him to see if anyone at the airport has reported the same sighting.

People followed and watched by objects in Niles, Ohio

I spoke with 38 year old Jamie M.(name withheld on file) from Niles, Ohio. Niles is a subburb of Youngstown, Ohio. Jamie is a legal secretary by profession and single.

On Novemeber 14th, 2003 between 5:30-6:45 pm Jamie took one of her dogs for a walk. This is rountine for her every day after work. She has two dogs and walks one at a time. She takes a path down from her home to Lincoln Elementary School. There is a small wooded area in a field that is off to the side of the school. Its about a 10 minute walk.

On this day she happened to notice two lights in the sky above the trees. She described the lights as grayish-blue in color. One was round and one was more oblong in shape. When asked if she thought these were just lights or if they could be solid objects, Jamie expressed she felt these were "objects" rather then lights. She first thought they may be search lights or spot lights or even planes but then noticed they did not have a beam from which light could radiate nor were there any sounds of engines. The shape of these objects could be seen though the thin clouds.

At first Jamie stopped and watched as these objects would come close together and then move away from each other. She felt as if they may of been playing tag. At one point she thought they were going to crash into each other. I asked if there were military planes in the area on a regular basisthat did maneuvers? She said that,yes, there were but she knew what they looked like and could hear the sounds of the engines. The color of the plane lights were also totally different from what she saw. She said that she finally stopped watching the objects and began to walk her dog.

She immediately noticed that the objects began to slowly follow along about 30 feet away and about 50 feet above the tree line and behind the clouds. As she walked they kept pace. She got to the end of her walk and came back with the objects still keeping up with her. She did not mention how the objects turned to follow her back.

When Jamie got to the house the objects seemed to "park" themselves above a weeping willow tree in the side of her yard. This tree is about 40 feet from the house and about 60 feet tall. The objects hovered about 50 feet above the tree. Jamie said she ran into the house and began crying. When she explained to her family what had just taken place, all 5 members of her family went out and looked up at the objects still hovering above the willow. Jamie explained these objects were there before she went out and was gone by 8 pm so she speculates they had to to be there for at least two and half hours.

Jamie went on to state that she and her parents decided to walk the second dog to see what would happen. As soon as they stepped out the objects took up postion above the tree line once more and began to follow along. The pattern was repeated.

Note: There was no adverse reaction from the dogs.

Once back to the house the lights again took up "sentry" watch over the willow tree. By now the parents were also frightened and they called the Niles City Police to report what was going on. The dispatcher said they would send an officer out to investigate but no one ever showed up. Jamie said her father did ask if spot lights were being used in the area where they lived and the repsonse was "not to our knowledge." Family members would ocasionally check to see if lights were still over the willow.

At this point Jamie says she went to the National UFO Reporting Center website and began to send in the report while the objects still hovered over the tree. No one saw the objects leave the area.

Five days later on Novemever 19th around 7:30 pm, Jamie was getting ready to walk her dogs. When she went outside the one round grayish-blue object was back. Jamie and her mother walked the dog. They took the same path but this time went to the left side of the school and back around to see if the object would follow.

The object kept pace even going around the building with them. By now there was no tree line so the object stayed behind the clouds. Jamie stated the object would jump from one cloud to the next without coming into open space in the sky as if it wanted to stay concealed.

This time Jamie called the news room of the Tribune Chronicle in Warren, Ohio. The gentleman who answered asked about the object in ths sky and said he would check witht he weatherman to see if anything unusual was going on with the weather. He did not call back.

Comments: Jamie sounded to be a credible witness and while speaking to me by phone she would ask her parents who were in the background several questions. I could hear their respones to the questions. We have multible witnesses to these sightings. No one could supply an answer to what the objects/lights could have been. The dispatcher stated no spot lights were being used at the time. Military aircarft exercises could be ruled out for the fact that these objects stood staionary for long periods of time and seemed to leave their positions over the trees to follow witnesses. Even if it was search lights or spot lights, I do not believe they would have hovered for long periods of time.

Additional notes: I called Jamie's residence again on December 20th to find out if the relative at the airport would speak to me.

This time Jamie's mother answered the phone. She said that her brother who works at the airport did not have addtional information pertinent to the case. She also expressed how frighted her and the family were during the time the objects were present. She stated that she and Jamie both felt that they were being "watched" by these objects. She went on to say that Jamie stated to her that the hair on the back of her neck stood up as they walked the dogs as if someone was staring at them from behind. Jamie's mother also stated that Jamie had forgot to tell me that when Jamie went to the bathroom window to look out, one of the objects seemed to sense her presence and moved quickly to an evergreen tree about 20 feet from the bathroom window and hovered there about 50 feet above that tree. She says that Jamie got the distinct impression the light was trying to see into the room.

I called the Niles City Police Dept. and asked about an incoming call made on the date in question. I was told that no call was placed to the staion on that date about lights in the area. I find it strange that the call was not on file. The officer I spoke to was very dismissive of my call and acted like he did not have time to talk to me.

Cursor shaped objects over SW Michgan

Over the past week in the skies over SW Michigan we have been subjected to heavy contrail spraying. This was my reason for watching the sky. With my binoculars and video camera ready I watched and taped as continuous streams of high flying aircraft left trail after trail in all directions. There has been a constant sound of distant jet roars in the sky but with no visible craft and this over a fairly rual area. This day though the sound was much louder and followed shortly by the sound of a low level helicopter. While trying to get the helicopter on my video camera I noticed strange movements from behind the haze of a contrail directly overhead. After several unsuccessful attempts to focus in on the object with the camera I opted for the binoculars. Looking in the direction of the roars I saw something move across my field of vision so I tracked along with it and could not believe my eyes. My first impression was that it was a bird soaring in a thermal but then it began to move in the sky so fluidly and was then joined by two similar craft and then performed a beautiful aerial display and crossed huge expanses in the sky seemingly accelerating and decelerating at will and turning on a dime. I was just recently at the Chicago Air show and watched the Blue Angels do their stuff and it does'nt even come close to what I witnessed. My entire world has been rocked by this experience and I cannot seem to let it go as nothing. My original reason for watching the sky that day was to gather evidence of contails on tape and stumbled upon this with an open mind and have been completly convinced of the existance of something in our skies. I have some very interesting video that has freaked many people out but without the ability to see it frame by frame I don't know what I have here. Many good detectable objects in the sky moving in strange ways but due to distance and speed of the objects focus is less than perfect. Some appeared to be similar to a cursor shape and some disc shaped objects that reflect su! nlight a nd have stealth type obscurity with different positions. Now that I have seen this and know where to look when you hear the sounds in the sky I have seen this 3 seperate times and I feel that my eyes deceive me. It is as though the contrais are acting as shield to try to obscure what is happening above. I'm frightened and feel that this was of significance enough to report it here.

Witnessed cigar shaped objects with tails streaming behind them. Some were going up, others going down, some criss-crossed each other, others were simply horizontal. In front of the streams were golden, very bright, metallic cigar shaped objects.

It was about 6 pm and my mother and I were driving on Route 422 in Niles, OH, to go to the Eastwood Mall. I looked up and noticed these streams in the sky. They resembled the streams that jets produce in the sky as they fly.

That's what I thought it was at first. However, there were so many of them...about 8-10, and planes would not fly that close together. Some of the streams were going up..some down...others were cris-crossing...some were horizontal. I also thought that maybe they were meteors, because they had tails that looked like comets.

When we got to the parking lot, we got out and were able to stand in the parking lot and get a good look. That's when I noticed that in front of the streams were cigar shaped, golden metallic objects. They were so bright. There were no wings, so these were NOT airplanes. They were all in the same area of the sky, except for one of them. I noticed that one when I turned around to go into the store. It was behind us, quite a distance from the other objects. This was the lowest one in the sky, and I was able to see the cigar shaped object much more clearly on this one.

There were other people driving through the parking lot who were also staring over in that direction and pointing, so we were not the only ones that noticed these objects.

Now, I have a law degree, so I like to consider myself to be a very rational person. But I've never seen anything like this before in my life. I think I should point out to you that I live in Trumbull County, OH...the same place where police officers chased objects in the sky a few years back. This story was chronicled on the NBC special "Confirmation" a couple of weeks ago.

We do live near the Vienna Air Base, so that may be relevant.

Also, back in November, my mother and I also saw some strange lights in the sky, and my uncle, who was about 10 miles away at the same time, reported seeing objects on the same night as well. There were three of them. They didn't move at all. They were lights, but you could tell they weren't stars. They were too big. They never moved. While looking at them, all of a sudden, they just disappeared out of the sky.

I had just gone to bed when I noticed bright lights coming towards my home. I immediately got up and went towards the window and saw this large hamburg shaped object moving across the tree tops in the back yard about 50- 75 ft.high. It turned everything blue including me and the bedroom. I woke my husband but by that time it had passed (about 15 seconds).

I was living in Niles, Ohio, at that time (August 25, 1995) 12:42 a.m. I was in bed and noticed in the distance bright lights coming towards my home. As it got closer it was a large blue/green colored spaceship with four large lights or windows. The blue rays came down through the trees and lit up the back yard and bedroom as well as myself.

I got away from the window because I was't sure if it was coming down. I would say it might have been approximately 25 ft. in diameter. It is hard to judge size when in the air.

It came from north and curved around to the east very quietly. It only appeared for about 15 seconds and then went out of sight due to other trees and roofs of homes.. It was just above the treetops (50 - 75ft. high.) It was shaped like a very large hamburg bun. New metalic looking, with orange lines on the surface, rays of blue lights lights coming out of bottom and four large windows or lights on front.

We spoke with this witness via telephone, and we found her to be seemingly quite credible. We received many other dramatic reports about this incident, which was seen over Ontario, Canada, as well, where it generated several news reports. One news camera crew caught the object on video, and it clearly was not a typical fireball or meteor. In addition, the video, a copy of which NUFORC received from Amy Hebert, a UFO investigator from The Colony, TX, clearly shows a small, bright object rising from apparently ground level, passing behind clouds in the distance, and perhaps merging with the "fireball" as it passed overhead Canada. The object was reported to have stopped and hovered over southern Pennsylvania.

Triangle zigzagged. Another shined light on us. Others jetted to horizon.

I was almost home, driving thru a 1000 acre corn field after harvest on a dirt road between Indiana and Michigan 3 a.m. 1991. The sky was very clear. Out of the corner of my eye I saw an orange light descending from the sky. As I turned my head it came to a stop behind a leafless tree line on the other side of the field about 1/2 mile away. The light seemed large for aircraft maybe 2 feet in diameter. More like a small orb, yet small from the distance. It was quite peculiar, it’s color, the way it descended, and the way it came to a stop without slowing. I pulled the van over and said to my friend "hey, watch that light over there. I could swear I just saw it come down out of the sky". So we sat there talking, not really paying attention. It had not moved for 10..maybe 15 minutes when I looked and it was rising up and slightly toward us. At about 60-75 ft. the orange light turned into 3 dazzling lights in a triangle pattern...Holy crap!!! Surprised the hell out of us! We looked at each other then back at the lights which were strobing in a rainbow of color so fast they seemed bright white. Then it started to zigzag 1500 feet back and forth several times like a bug without stopping or slowing. I can only guess the speed seemed to be more than 300 mph. It seemed to stay parallel to the ground at the same altitude. Needless to say by this time we were freakin out, both of us tapping each other on the shoulder, looking back and forth at each other and the "alien ship", saying "are you seeing what I’m seeing" over and over. That’s all we could do. I was astonished. That went on for a little less than a minute. Then it headed east at a steady speed, gaining altitude. Two or three times, before it became too distant, it seemed to disappear and reappear in the same line of flight 2 or three times more distant than it should have been at the same speed almost instantly. An extreme jump in speed or should I say place because when it reappeared it was traveling at the same speed. We tried to chase it to see if we could spot it again but figured it moved on. So we headed back. As we drove back down the dirt road something drew my attention to the field on the other side of the road. So we stopped again backing up into a driveway so we could see if there was really something out there. We sat there a few minutes. It was like a dim, bluish spotlight waving back and forth. The beam seemed to extend only about 20 ft. I asked my friend if he wanted to go out there to get a closer look. He said no, and I was relived. Just put that out of mind. Now I wish I had, I always wonder what I would have seen. But I was more afraid of what might happen. I should have drove through the field. Maybe I could have run my truck into it or run down some helpless alien. Anyway, it waved 2 or 3 times with interrupts between passes. I asked my friend, wondering if it would be such a good idea, if I should flash the headlights at it, which I did. About ten seconds later directly after making another pass to the sky the light shined right on us. I have never seen a light so eerie. It seemed to be more luminescent or dissipated, fractured as though shining through a fog. It stayed on us for about 2 seconds then went about what it was doing without skipping a beat. I wondered if it was signaling some other craft. So, I got out and looked up. There were others that appeared like moving stars. I didn’t get a count but there were more than three because I remember 3 that came together in a large triangle formation then jetted away from each other almost to the extent of the horizon within 5 or six seconds. At the altitude they were at, I’m assuming space, the speed had to be tremendous. Then they flew back to form the same formation just as fast. There were others but they seemed to be stopped then would move shorter distances. I wasn’t taking much note of them though. They were hard to keep track of, they blended in with the stars and my neck got really tired after more than 15 minutes or so looking almost straight up. It had been a long night, the object in the field had stopped signaling and I’m not sure what happened to the ones in the sky. Dawn was approaching so we went home talking about it all morning. Hours later we went out into the field. The dirt was very hard. There were no signs of any activity.

ball of light flying over Central Valley and over SF Bay area

Witnessed a ball of white light travelling with the contours of the hills in Niles Canyon {Fremont}. A friend said they saw the same object leave the canyon and flew over Union City then the San Francisco bay streaking straight up over the bay. Next days paper reported same obect flying over the Central Valley from the Sierra's
