Seen a roughly 10x10 V shaped object flying across me. It was roughly 300 to 500 feet off the ground. It lasted about 4 seconds. Each side had 4 elonaged ovals that were translucent. I was trying to process what I was looking at in those 4 seconds. It happened so fast. I lost it once it went on the other side of the house. It was a reflection, a pack of duck, lighting or drones. It was something I've never seen before. The translucent part had me losing my mind.

This is not the objects first appearance around this time of year.

red fire ball like light hovering around the south end of town in the direction of the local campground locates along Lake Champlain, the object in question appeared in the matter of seconds gliding along the sky then hovered for at least 6 minutes before darting down ward and back upward again before shooting to the Vermont side of the lake and disappearing. Its color was a brilliant red and was a perfect sphere.

Series of 3-5 lights seen multiple times in various formations, never making a sound or changing light intensity regardless of angle.

UNEXPLAINED BRIGHT LIGHTS FLYING SLOWLY IN THE SKY OVER CROWN POINT, INDIANA. FIRST NOTICED DUE TO OUR DOG GROWLING AT THEM. THEY WOULD SLOWLY APPROACH FROM WHAT LOOKED LIKE A FEW MILES WEST OF MY LOCATION NEAR CROWN POINT HIGH SCHOOL, RISE INTO THE CLOUDS ROUGHLY OVERHEAD, THEN REAPPEAR FROM THE SAME DIRECTION A MINUTE OR TWO LATER, REPEATING THE SAME PATTERN. EACH APPEARANCE WOULD LAST PERHAPS 5 MINUTES OR SO. BETWEEN 3-5 WERE SEEN AT A TIME. THEY WERE COMPLETELY SILENT, NEVER BLINKING OR CHANGING INTENSITY REGARDLESS OF WHERE THEY WERE, AND IN DIFFERENT GROUPINGS EACH TIME (CLOSE TOGETHER, SPREAD OUT, RANDOM, STRAIGHT LINE, DIAMOND, CURVED LINE, AND TRIANGLE).

AFTER APPROX. 30 MINUTES AND 5-6 APPEARANCES, THEY ROSE INTO THE CLOUDS ONE BY ONE AND WERE NOT SEEN AGAIN.

2 orange spheres seen by 4 people over Crown Point, In.

On the evening of August 23, 2014, between 9 and 10 pm CST, 4 people observed 2 glowing spheres outside of Crown Point, Indiana.

The spheres glowed/flickered orange/red, and moved slowly and silently from approximately North to South. Size, speed and altitude unknown but would assume they were at least some feet across and low, no more than say 1,000 feet in altitude (my impression). They could have been more than just a few feet but I do not believe they were small aircraft size.

At first, the objects were at some distance from each other and just “floating along,” something like you would expect from a Chinese lantern, which they resembled. Then the lead object seemed to slow, or the other speed up as they joined up at a point in the sky. Not conjoined or linked, just close to each other in formation. They then changed direction and moved West in close proximity to each other and we lost sight of them as they passed our house and I had to move from the back porch to the front.

When I went out to the front yard the spheres had disappeared. However, as I scoured the night sky I did see one blacked out sphere (no lights now) silhouetted against the night sky, returning back East from the direction it had come. I did not see a second, nor did I try to follow the flight of the blacked-out object.

Coincidently, shortly after this sighting, my wife saw a rather bright streaking light, likely a meteor, moving low in the sky past the house.

For what it is worth, I am an engineer and ex air-traffic controller.

Silent, bright, red/orange lights fly over Northwestern Indiana.

Beginning at approximately 9:05 P.M., CST, several round, bright, single, red/orange lights flew over, from horizon to horizon. Most flew in pairs, with one light following another. Each pair would fly over and out of sight, and then another pair would fly over shortly after.

We saw a total of 8 or 9 of these lights over the course of about 15-20 minutes. The strange thing about them was that they were very bright and did not blink, but at times appeared to flicker slightly.

There also seemed to be an area of more diffuse light immediately surrounding the bright light. The light was equally bright viewed from all directions.

Hard to say how close they were, but they seemed fairly close as they went by, and no sound was heard.

Different from any other aircraft I have ever seen.

I shot a short video clip of the last one that flew over.

Bright orange orbs moving from south to north, from slow to fast, and disappearing into clouds.

On 27 April at approximately 8:45 p.m. I looked out my patio doors in Crown Point, IN and noticed an orange light at an approximate 60° angle of elevation. I am a former U. S. Air Force weather observer and I live on a golf course and the back of my house has in unobstructed view.

I went outside into the backyard to get a better view. There were four (4) circular bright orange orbs moving north easterly across the sky. They were lined up in a straight line and their movement was slow on approach.

I got my binoculars to get a closer look at the orange orbs, they were not airplanes. Then I thought they might have been helicopters, but there was absolutely no noise. Then they moved northwest, and the first light sped up and disappeared into the clouds. Then the second one sped up and disappeared. The third followed and then the fourth. According to the weather service in Gary, Indiana, the winds were calm and visibility was 15 miles with overcast skies.

My husband and I were in the backyard with our two dogs at about 8:30 last night He said "Look up" There were two round reddish-orange objects about 3,000 to 5,000 feet up moving from east to west straight, then at a very slight curve. We watched them and then looked east again to see four more, then one more. He looked at them through his binoculars and said they were round and looked like they were on fire. There was no sound. We watched them for about five minutes until they went behind the clouds and disappeared, just about one by one.

Red glowing circular object moving laterally South to North with no sound (about the size of an aircraft)

On October 22, 2011 at approximately 8:45 p.m., my husband and I were outside of our home and observed a bright red "glowing" red oval/circular object in the sky moving laterally South to North. It was as large as an aircraft but made no sound whatsoever. At first I thought it was a glowing balloon or lantern (but more circular in shape), but it did not ascend and moved laterally instead. My husband usually has an answer for everything, but not for this!! I have noticed upon doing an on-line search that others witnessed a similar object in our area (10/18 in Munster, IN, as noted on the MUFON site; and 10/8 in Crown Point, IN on UFO's Northwest site). We've never believed in paranormal activity, including UFO's, but this was so unusual; would love more information!

I was driving home and I noticed a strange object in the sky above the cornfield across from my neighborhood. It was moving very slow to the north towards Chicago. It was a triangle shape with bright red lights at each tip. I pulled over to the side of the road to get a better look, and I could see distinctly a triangle shaped craft.

I didn't hear any noises, so I know for sure this wasn't an airplane, and I have seen this object once before a couple months ago in the exact same area. This time, it was closer to the road.

I managed to get a couple pictures of it on my cell phone.

After a minute or two, the object dissapeared in the sky. It was very scary, I'm still shaking!

White Orb leaves ground to go up to an object

On a clear night I happened to look out my den window and there appeared to be a truck that failed to make the turn on the corner. 2 men appeared out of the truck wearing what appeared to be welder helmets. Seconds later a white orb appeared from the back of the tr uck and hovered by the 2 men. Again seconds later a large whit oval appeared in the sky. For a few seconnds I could see a bluish green what look like a candy kiss but this was assume in size, Again seconds later a large brillant white oval cover the object, it was like a shield. the white orb on the ground when up to this shield and disapeared. I could see other white orbs approach and some leave. About 5 minutes later this white orb appeared and went into the back of the truck. The 2 men got into the truck and left. The truck was black looked armored and had a ladder on the roof like a fire truck it came within 50 feet of ne but there was no lettering on the truck. Can anybody explain to me what I saw? Wha t where those 2 men and white orb on l and for?

I was looking at Venus in the southwest sky at 8:10 this evening and noticed just below it a bit between Venus and the Treetops in the far distance flashing lights like a star or something. I got my binoculars and looked closely and it is stationary, bright flashing red, green and yellow lights flickering and not moving. I showed my son and my husband and they both see the same exact thing. Planes go past it with their noticable lights flashing and this UFO just stays right in the same place not changing and continues to flash these colors as I write this message! Very strange! Its not moving up, down, right or left and is just below and to the right of the bright planet Venus.

Shaft of pulsing light in Crown Point, Indiana

For approx. 20 minutes I witnessed a "shaft" of very bright pulsing light in the eastern sky. It appeared only in the clouds and it appeared to be massive.

I also noticed several other cloud-like shafts in the area that were perpendicular to the normal clouds that were present.

The normal clouds were thin fluffy type. The cloud-like shafts were solid.

I am a night person who spends a lot of time (usually from midnight to 4 am CDT), especially in the summer, watching the night sky. I have seen several UFO's (crafts) starting in the early 80's. I have seen the Northern Lights several times. I am an avid watcher of meteor showers.

I have never witnessed a light like this. I live in the flight path of O'Hare &/or Midway airports. There are always planes in the sky even in the middle of the night. There have been no planes in the sky for at least the last 30 to 40 minutes. Not sure if that is worth mentioning but I thought it was strange.

I am submitting this report and then will be watching to see if this phenomena returns.

I had just turned in to my subdivision when straight ahead and up in the sky I saw a cone shaped object with bright lights (I think they were white and yellow and orange) all around it. It went up into the clouds at about a 45 degree angle, so fast, so VERY fast. I never saw anything move that fast in my life!

Floating object over our backyard

I saw an object coming toward our house going west. It had 1 row of white lights at the top and 1 row of white lights on the bottom.In the center were 2 rows of red lights. It was silently flying lower than a tall tree. The object was so strange that I asked my husband to take a look. He saw the object turn left then right and go north toward Lake Michigan. As it turned, he saw 3 lights at the front (yellow, green, and brown). It rose to around 300 feet and flew out of his sight.

My fiancee was looking through the telescope trying to see Saturn when he came running in the house telling me to come and look at something he found. This thing was round like a small orb but it was all different colors like reds and greens and yellows. and the middle of this circular thing was swirling around and changing colors like some kind of prism thing. I dont know what it is but i would like to know if anyone else has spotted something like it. It didnt move around in circles or zig zag in the sky like people say but it did move and I know it wasnt a star it was way to low. STRANGE SIGHT IN THE SKY.

I WENT TO SMOKE A CIGARETT OUTSIDE MY HOME. IT WAS APROXIMENTLY 4:30 IN THE MORNING AND I COULDN'T SLEEP. THERE IS VERY MUCH FOREST AND FARMS NEAR MY HOME. I LOOKED AT THE STARS. THE BRIGHTEST ONE WAS A GOLD COLOR. SO I ASSUMED IT WAS A PLANE. BUT' IT DIDN'T MOVE. IT APPEARED SO CLOSE AND THE SHAPE WASN'T NORMALLY WHAT I HAVE EVER SEEN. IT WAS HARD TO LOOK AT IT AND CONCENTRATE. BECAUSE AROUND IT SEEMED TO BE A SORT OF RAY OF LIGHT. IT GOT ME SCARED SO I SMOKED HALF OF MY CIGARETTE. THEN I WENT INSIDE.THE GOLD COLOR WAS VERY BRIGHT AND UNUSAL.

The CNN Film footage of the Shuttle Before the Break up.

On 2/1/03 at 9am CST I was watching CNN and they were showing Mission Control when they first lost contact with the Shuttle.Around 9:25-9:35 am CST the first film footage was being shown and It definitely showed a object behind the Shuttle before it the Shuttle started to break apart.

Within the hour that segment of that particular film footage was not being shown anymore.I have no idea what it was,but it was there and to this date I have not heard anyone talking about it till I read it here on your site.Also I do have it on VHS.Thank you

Two firballs or meteors seen low in the sky southwest of Crown Point, IN

There were 2 large firball like ufo's seen in the light of day. They were southwest in location and low in the horizon. They were very bright and left smokey dark black trails behind them. They moved very slowly downward over a 20 minute time-period. We have no idea exactly what they were but they were very bright and so slow that we knew they were not planes so figure they must be meteors or fireballs. We were so excited and didn't know who to inform of these strange sightings. Glad to have found this website! My husband and I are 40 years old and my daughter is 9 years old. We looked at the fireballs with binoculars.

My son and I witnessed what looked like a jet fly over our house, except that the arrow-like shape of it does not look like anything we can match with know jets.

At between 13:15 and 13:30 my son was walking from the garage to the house when he began calling me frantically to come outside to see a jet flying over. He said that he heard it coming and it had an additional sound like the whirring of a helicopter along with the jet sound so he waited outside for it to go overhead. I was amazed at what I saw, my first thought was that it had to be experimental. The entire craft could best be described as arrow-shaped and a silver-goldish color. Not a chrome silver but not iron gray either. It was flying fairly low like a plane in a holding pattern would do at a small airport. How high that is in feet I dont know. The jet was flying straight north, the direction helicopters fly over our house all the time and only just a little higher than that. It was the size of a medium sized commercial passenger plane. We watched it fly over for almost a minute before it was lost behind the trees, so it was not going fast. I did not hear the whirring sound my son heard, and we could hear each other talking so it could not have been very loud; no high-whining sound like a jet makes, and it was low enough to be deafening. I pointed things out to my son as it was going over and said, "now quickly go draw a picure of it before you forget what it looks like." The front of it was very much shaped like a wide arrow-head, rather than more pointed with what looked like antennas pointing towards the back from the two points. Then there was a very long middle section, disproportionate from the rest. Too thin and too long, and round like a pencil. It didn't seem to make sense. (We had time to talk about what it could be for while we watched it go overhead.) We didn't notice any markings or outside antennas on this section. It seemed to be completely sleek. The tail section was much larger than the front section by at least 3:1 and reminded me more of the stealth design in its shape only the edges were far less rounded. On the back I saw 2 round, large, black shapes (my husband said they sounded like thrusters, I though they were landing wheels but bigger) and I saw a little of what looked like cages on top of each side. (My husband said these sounded like intakes.) I remember seeing an antenna sticking up somewhere and fins sticking up on each side. The back section was more familiar and less remarkable than the rest of it. (The rest of it was very remarkable.) In fact the front of it looked so flat that it looked more like it had rudders on each side of a long pencil than anything else. The back was flattened also but not to that degree. Nothing like a cockpit was seen. I very much think it was some kind of (fighter?) jet and wonder if it was coming from a military base my son says is south of here. But why would it fly so low straight into the Gary, IN airport traffic and why at such a conspicuous time of day? We have been looking for something on line for a few days to see if anyone else has seen anything like it. We even looked at Boeing and Lockheed's homepages to see if we could get a clue as to it's design and origin and found nothing. We thought you might have heard something about it and it might explain some other sightings in the area that were less visible. a bright light with red highlights it also had dim white lights in a sphere shape approx. eight lights

I noticed this bright light at 4:am in the southeast it seemed to be hovering or fixed in one spot for about fortyfive seconds,then it started to move towards the north I noticed it had approx. eight dim lights on it in the shape of a sphere and the bright light took on a red glow arond it . Soon after I noticed the dim lights the object turned ninety degrees to the east and sped out of site in the matter seconds.

Sighting of disk-shape object, lost time, possible after-effects.

Myself & a date were driving home and were approximately 2 blocks from my house, when the car stopped in front of what was at that time a corn field. All I remember is looking to my right out the window and seeing a large disk-shaped object hovering approximately 50 feet in the air over the field. I could only see the underside of the object, but it was radiating a pink light which lit up the whole car. I remember a very powerful vibrating humming sound which sent a numbing & tingling sensation thru my body almost like what I imagine an electric shock would feel like. I turned my head away from the object to look at my date saying, "Oh my God..." as I turned my head, and it felt like I was moving and speaking in slow-motion. I remember nothing else except that I arrived home at approximately 1:30am, and do not recall how I got home or what happened. I never spoke of that night to anyone until about 5 years ago, and I only told my mother and 2 of my closest friends. Since that time I have ran into the person I was with, but have never had the courage to ask him about that night, because it sounds so crazy. Since that time, I have experienced what a neurologist told me is probably a sleep disorder called sleep paralysis. I will be on the verge of sleep, but still aware of what is going on around me and I get a buzzing sound in my head, which progressively gets louder and louder, then what feels like an electric wave runs thru my body causing that same tingling & numbness feeling that I experienced that night. When this happens, I am completely paralyzed, then I don't remember anything else. I either pass out or fall asleep or something. This happened approximately every 3 months until the last year, during which time it seems to have stopped. I am very skeptical, and have anylized this, wondering if it really happened or if it was a dream, yet it is still so vivid & such a strong sensation. I am an educated person, am not delusional, and am of very sound mind, but yet when I sp! eak of w hat I saw, it sounds crazy, even to myself.
