Extreme velocity dot, ESE trajectory, followed by abrupt U turn and disappearance.

While in the front yard with the dog, I spotted a commercial jet on a direct W > E approach flight path, which is unusual this close to DFW Airport (I sit under west side approach / departure paths). As I continued to watch it fly overhead, a fast moving dot to the north caught my eye. It was just east of due north at ~60° elevation, and traversed ESE into Cygnus, near Deneb in <3 seconds; impossibly fast for any satellite I've seen. As it passed the vicinity of Deneb, it slowed abruptly, made a fishhook U turn to the south and back due west. Disappeared less than a second later and did not reappear.

I used an astronomy app on my phone to determine elevation angle and ~56° of travel in that <3 second span. It was not a meteor, or conventional satellite based on extreme apparent velocity and the U turn. Some napkin math gave an apparent velocity of 58,000-70,000mph if it was at LEO altitudes. Wouldn't even guess at the G forces in the transition to that U turn.

Noticed black object above (NW) tree line suspended for @1 min, it then moved (W), hovered around @2 min & vanished.

No clouds, clear crisp blue skies. Breezy. In back yard doing yoga, laying on my back facing NW/W sky, heard & watched a helicopter pass thru my line of sight. Not common but not unusual for helicopters to fly in the area.... did noticed it looked gov't/official. I can't remember if my music turned off before or after the helicopter... either way I had to restart my playlist on my phone. I'm only mentioning this because you ask below.... otherwise no other issues and it started right back up. Not sure how soon after the helicopter, I noticed a distinct black dot above the tree lines (NW 320°). Suspended, not moving and completely still. The lack of movement against the vibrant blue skies are probably the only reason I noticed it... as we have a hawk nest near by and lots of bird/wildlife activity in our neighborhood. Don't know how long it was there or how long I watched it... maybe 30 seconds give or take the time it took me to comprehend this wasn't a hawk or sun spots. Then it moved. A fast smooth burst, stopped and moved again (W 270°). At this point, I'm thinking drone or UAP. I grabbed my phone, stood up and took 2 short videos capturing the object while it was hovering & flying in area. Note that while taking the videos I made the mistake of looking thru my phone and lost sight of the object on the screen. In video 1, I only saw a bird flying on my screen and actually dismissed the whole thing and stopped recording. However when I looked to the skies with my naked eyes I saw both the bird and object. I immediately started recording again and was able to zoom in a bit and pick it up. The object then vanished. It didn't return. A description of the object is difficult as I couldn't distinguish it's true shape as it seemed to look different depending on the angle it was flying. Black in color. I'm guessing that though it appeared to be the same size as a hawk/eagle or drone to the eye, it was a lot bigger and father away then appeared. Birds and drones also don't disappear into thin air.

Fast moving orbs of changing light appearing and disappearing in front of cars

As I was driving home from Lynchburg Va around 9:55 pm I observed low flying spheres or orbs that were moving erratically at a high rate of speed and changing colors from red to blue to green. These objects appeared about a mile from Lowes and disappeared after I went through the traffic lights in front of Walmart. I looked up and behind me to ensure there were no aircraft with lights or emergency vehicles behind me. There was a car in front of me that the objects got in front of. That person/persons had to notice these objects as well. They vanished.

We were sitting outside by the fire in the middle of the backyard which is in the middle of the woods essentially and then we saw two lights beyond the clouds moving in large circles and the lights themselves were circular in shape. Then one of our quests left and drove home and saw them in her backyard and they were gone in ours. Pretty creepy.

My 2 kids and they're 2 friends were having a fire outside of my house when they called in to us that they were seeing crazy lights in the sky. Once i got outside they had already reported seeing at least 10 of them go by then they pointed them out to me. There where lights coming across the sky in perfect formation at the exact same distance apart heading at an upward angle at the same speed. They would glow bright then dim in the same exact spot passing by the tree in my front yard then they would reach a point past my house at a specific height then dissapear or fade away in the exact same location. This was so odd to me we live in a high air traffic area I've sit outside and watched every kind of plane and helicopter go past my property this was definitely neither. There were 40 to 50 of these they were traveling so perfectly spaced and at the same angle you would think it would be one unbelievably huge craft but u could see the sky inbetween these light! s. Also at the time these lights went be we seen no other aircrafts in the sky till about 5 minutes after it was over then there were several planes going by lije usual. If anyone else has seen this phenomenon i would love to know.

Constant white/red light at high altitude seen in Texas

At approximately 20:42 on a clear night (10/08/2019), a bright white light was seen by 2 individuals in Bedford, Texas. It was obvious this light was not coming from an airplane, as it was constant (not flashing) and white. Airplanes were seen in the vicinity, but were at a much lower altitude than the white light. The white light seemed to be moving slowly across the sky, but appeared to be getting progressively smaller as if the light was increasing altitude. The light then stops moving across the sky and changes from white to red before fading out completely. We have never seen anything like this before and I felt compelled to report it.

Large saucer shaped craft hovered above the tree line with white lights surrounding the circumference.

I was leaving my mom's house in Bedford, MA, around 9pm on Thursday, September 12, 2019. As I was going down her street I noticed something strange in the sky, but it was too high up to tell what it was at first.

As I was driving on the side streets and stopped at the stop sign before making a right to Rt. 3... my heart dropped and I grew curious and anxious at the same time.

In front of me, I saw a large saucer shaped craft hovered in the sky above the tree line with white lights surrounding the circumference. I just stared at it and when I started to pull my phone from my pocket to record, it moved left at an angle passed the trees until I couldn't see it any longer.

It wasn't a plane and it was way too big to be a drone. I did see a red light as well but white lights were around the craft.

Three circular, flashing UFO's moving in erratic patterns before traveling away in a line.

I am reporting a sighting of three flashing UFOs during the peak of the lunar eclipse, witnessed by at least 5-10 people. The three circular crafts moved rapidly in looping patterns around each other, behaving erratically and flashing yellow and orange before departing in a straight line directly behind each other.

The UFOs were witnessed in the eastern skies at a hill in Benedictine Park in New Hampshire–they caught my attention with what I thought was a camera flash.

I continued to watch them as then made wide loops and diagonal lines around each other, speeding up and slowing down while giving off bright flashes of yellow and orange lights before dimming again. I could hear many others noticing and commenting on the UFO's as time passed, trying to get a better look. Some flashes were very bright and others weren’t so dramatic. Their pattern of flight was very irregular until they began to travel away, moving in a single-file line very close to each other.

The crafts rapidly sped up and took off beyond the treeline. It may have not been related, but there were loud booming and rumbling sounds right after the crafts sped up that lasted for about 15 seconds. There were two planes that traveled nearby the crafts immediately before the UFO's lined up and left.

On my way home driving, I saw three glowing orange orbs with a reddish aura around them in the sky above the power lines. They were in a diagonal formation and gliding across the sky toward the tree line.

As I got closer, they were out of my line of sight and I turned down a back road to get a better view.

My 5 year old daughter and I got out of the car and we looked up to see them overhead, now in a horizontal pattern, soundless, moving toward the direction of the moon.

As quickly as we saw them, they disappeared, vanishing from sight.

It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen.

Bright Light in sky sped away at incredible speed.

Driving on the highway my on dark but clear night, I saw a huge bright light in the sky. It stood out among the rest of the other objects in the sky like small stars and aircraft with their blinking lights. This bright light was hovering still. I pointed it out to my husband.

He looked at it. I said, "What is that?" And at that moment it sped off super fast going sideways and it disappeared.

We both looked at each other in disbelief. We've never seen anything like that ever. The speed was incredible and it was so bright and disappearing as it sped away was insane.

Football sized UFO over the town of Bedford

while i was driving to work, which is on Guard Hill Road in Bedford, i noticed a huge, football sized UFO in the shape of a triangle/pyramid. I could not believe my eyes.

This happened last thursday,january 03, 2013.

As soon as i took my camera phone to take a picture, the object had disappeared only leaving a trail of white, cloud-like condensed air.

I received a phone call on Saturday, January 05, 2013 by a colleague of mine. He called me to tell me that he, too, had seen the UFO; except that he saw it in the town of Mount Kisco, NY. which is 15 minutes from Bedford.

Last night at 9:00 p.m me and my family came from Wal-Mart as we were heading up the highway we seen a dark orange round object/light in the sky, like the glowing and color of flame on coal when it is about to burn out, we slowed down to get a better look at it, so did other vehicles around us, we looked at it for about 4 minutes it was over an area with houses, the object was not moving and it did not have any sound, it didn’t do anything, the distance from the ground was about the distance of a low flying plane, then we decided to go up the highway to take the exit back to the road to get to the right side of the road to get a better view so were the other vehicles in front and behind us doing the same thing but when we got back to the spot where it was, it was gone this took about 1 minute to 2 minutes to get back to the spot we didn’t get to see what direction it was going, so we decided to leave the area and go home when we got half way their maybe 7 mi! nutes from the time we left the other area, we saw the object/ light again but it was at a much further distance it didn’t look like it was moving, as I was driving it was getting harder to see because of the mountains and trees in the way eventually we couldn’t see it anymore so we proceeded to go home. It seems strange to me because I have never seen anything like this, it didn’t move nor had sound, but eventually it did move to another spot, but within a 7 minute time frame to another spot that we seen it at, it could have went to another area before we seen it again, it’s odd that it seems like it has a stop and go pattern like it may be looking or waiting for something.

bright orange sphere, pulsated a pink and blue light,several apeared and orbited it then vanished

i heard a loud thud, boomish type sound didnt think much of it, my younger cousin calls and says theres a helicopter on fire in the sky can you see it? wich direction is it?to the west? northwest maybe? i searched that direction, and seen a ball of glowing red light, i thought it might have been like a supernova or something, like when a star burns out, it then flashed pink and pulsed blue for a short time.

Minutes later what apeard to be a shooting star trailed the western sky or ten seconds maybe, then another, they both dissapeared, then reappeared together parallel to eachother and vanished again seconds later,my phone was charging in the house and that was my only source of photo recording device.

I got the phone back, tho its prepaid, i have three short videos and one picture.

lo quality but you can definetly see it, as i was video recording it, something passed by with a similar shape of the tsr 71 black bird, or a stealth bomber.

What seemed to be a spot light came on and off, it flew low maybe 1000 feet then vanished.blinking starts seemed to appear in a triangular patter, then everything dissapeared.

Star-like crafts seen flying at speeds faster than satellite over DFW, government associate consulted and confirmed not normal.

Started off as one, mistook it for a shooting star that slowed down and whipped around. No specific flight formation as it was zipping around randomly. One by one more showed up, it almost looked as if they were playing with each other. All 5-7 disappeared and as fast as they disappear they reappeared as one, miles to the right in the sky and fanned out.

My hands are 5-6" long, 4-5" wide, holding my arms out straight it took 5-6 hands across the sky, thats the only thing I have to compare distance.

All of them thereafter continued to "play" in the sky for hours. No video evidence was take as a camera was unavailable at the time. No colored lights were seen, they were star-like. I would say they might have had potential to be a plain however they were moving at such a speed, no airplane in the area or at all could compare as moving miles at a time took only half a second. No sound was emitted.

I have also seen satellites, this was not a satellite.

Small star like object moving at incredible speed, stopping suddenly & proceeding at a series of right andle turns

I would like to report a sighting that coincides almost exactly to a report made by someone from Kennewick, WA in 09/2010. I wish I could contact you to compare sightings.

My sighting occurred in 04/2011, as I was visiting my sister. I was about midway between Dallas and Fort Worth and about 4 miles south of the DFW Airport. As I did often, I was sitting on my sister’s patio, early in the night, watching the aircraft going in and out of DFW. While watching the aircraft it was not unusual to see an occasional satellite cruising across the sky. On this, forever memorable night, I was on the patio talking on the phone with a friend of mine in Houston. I remarked to my friend on the phone, “hey Greg I can see a satellite moving across the sky.” It was no sooner than I had said that when I dropped the phone on the concrete surface of the patio, breaking the cover off of it. The assumed satellite I was watching had come to a complete stop. It remained motionless for about 3 seconds before tearing across the sky at a right angle from it’s former position and covering about one-third of the sky in less than a second. The object made 4 or 5 more similar maneuvers, all at 90 degree angles from it last position before moving in a straight line and disappearing. The speed at which this thing moved was incredible, moving across large portions of the sky in less than a second.

Thinking about the sighting in the future, it was almost as if the object was surveying the DFW Airfield. The next day I was at a local restaurant talking with a friend of mine who recently retired from the FAA. I, of course told him the story, expecting to see a surprised expressing on his face. When I finished the story he finally turned to look at me and said, “(expletive) Steve, our pilots tell us (expletive) like that all the time.” Ha! I felt cheated; as though the most profound experience of my life was suddenly made quite commonplace.

There has never been any doubt about what I saw. I only regret that I was alone.

I had screamed for my sister and brother-in-law, but when they arrived, the incident was over. I am very gratified I have your forum to share this with people who have had similar experiences. I have no doubt that this object was manufactured, was controlled by intelligent operators and was not in the realm of any technology that I am have heard of. Yellow-orange "stars" moving erratically then stopping, and so on.

My friends and I were at the Bedford town park watching the stars one night and I remember we all sort of saw them at the same time. there were all of these yellow-orange "stars" in the sky and they would all move at once, then stop, then move again and stop, and this went on for a while. i've never seen anything move like that before. once they disappeard all together in the same direction, we heard this loud noise I can't exactly explain (certainly the noise could be unrelated and explained by nearby traffic?) and we ran down that hill into that car so fast.

While driving home, I witnessed a triangle shaped object moving very slowly across the sky. It had 4lights, 3bright ones on each tip with a dimmer one in the center. As it passed over a bright part in the sky I saw that it was clearly a complete triangle and not the shape of any jet that I’m familiar with, it also moved very slowly across the sky, to slow to be any jet. It was completely silent, and had no jet wash.

Unexplained quick flashes of light from a clear blue sky

While driving south on route 3 during morning rush hour I saw a glint in the sky. It was similar to what you might see when the sun catches a mirror but it was way off in the distance. When I looked for the cause I didn't see anything but clear skies in all directions. I figured it was a plane way off in the distance that I couldn't see but 2-3 minutes later the same thing happened from almost the exact same spot suggesting that whatever had produced it was stationary.

Triangular object with three lights over Westchester county NY

Could not see Craft in full, was too dark. I did see three lights, white, not very bright(brighter amd larger than anything else in area)lined out as the points of an equilateral triangle.(there was a darker shape they were attached to, but I could only make out the lights on the craft) obhesct was heading norh -north east towards CT. Obect traversed my vision of the sky (from south to north, roughly 50 miles, maybe more in a matter of five to six seconds.

ONE NOTE: Object had to have passed no farther than 20 miles of the Westchester county Airport! traveling through a VERY BUSY Plane route.( Planes from Westchester county airport, Laguardia Airport, and JFK Airport ALL fly through this area. Object WAS NOT flying in ANY normal Aircraft route ( I stand outside smoke everynight watching the planes and looking for shooting stars, I know this was no plane, wrong altitude, and traving much faster than even teh military planes that go through now and then. Craft also did not have any strobes, just three white lights. I did see at least three planes that were in the area at the same time, craft flew, at a distance, directly in front of one plane(I belive that plane to be heading towards Westchester county by it's altitude.

Three lights moving slowly overhead, no sound

I was watching television and noticed what appeared to be very bright lights (approx. the size and brightness of car headlights) in the sky coming towards my house.

I stepped onto the porch and saw three very bright lights coming from the southeast. The object appeared to stop then made a sharp left turn.

I could not distinguish any noise from the object.

It continued on a slow westerly track and disappeared into the horizon. I am a skeptic and would like to think that I observed a military aircraft of some kind but this object made no sound.

The object was at an altitude well below where normal aircraft would fly, as I am not near an airport or military installation.

The object was also close enough that I should have heard some kind of sound. Please do not publish my name or any identifying info. as this could be damaging to my reputation.

There was one object directly above us which we witnessed from the third floor of the balcony. It was subtle in it's movements as far as floating/gliding. My brother and I were looking at the stars when my brother noticed the object in the sky. He pointed it out to me as it went directly above us and over the roof of the apartment building. We ran outside to the direction it headed and it was gone. The object looked oval with dark colored pertrusions in the shape of rounded rectangles off of the back 2/3's of it roughly.

Interesting moon view with telescope, unknown objects.

On Oct 23rd, 2004 I purchased a telescope from Wal Mart a 5 inch Meade with a lot of buttons on it. I spent a couple of days trying to learn to use it and took it out the following night. I didn't really know where to start or what to look at so I just decided to check out the surface of the moon. It was really amazing to see all the surface features, craters etc.

About an hour had went by of gazing and trying the different powered lenses. I zoomed in on the moon using 25mm eyepiece which will focus on a 3-400 sq. mile area of the moon. I started noticing that about every minute and a half or so, sometimes one but mostly in pairs little black dots would go by as if it were some type of plane orbiting the moon (the moon was full). At first I thought that it was satellites that circle the earth passing in front of the moon, but then I realized that this would have to be something orbiting the moon itself due to the multiple times that these objects traveled the exact same path. The next night I decided to look at the moon again oddly enough I saw the same black dots mostly in pairs and slightly staggered but sometimes only one. I watched this for about 30 minutes, probably 12-13 times. These were very clear black dots and any satellite between here and the moon would not be this clear and so small. So I wrote some emails to astronomers and asked, thinking it would be something easily explainable. The response I got back stated that anything orbiting the moon would be too small to be seen in a telescope and also they knew of nothing currently orbiting the moon. I've looked at the moon a dozen or so times since and have not seen anything.

Small white sphere noticed in the sky on Labor day in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area.

I was shocked to see a post on here from Euless Tx around the same time I saw something in the sky, so I am filing this report.

I went to visit my dad in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area for dinner on Labor day.

We went outside and we were just talking in the backyard. I was sitting on the concrete and looking up into the sky, around sunset. Suddenly I saw what appeared to be a star at first, shimmering and white, only it was still daylight. I thought that maybe it was just the first visible star in the sky at night, so i looked around to see if other stars were visible. There were none. As in the other post from euless, I too was directly under the DFW International Airport flight line. There were many planes flying in from the South, going North.

I shrugged off the light/sphere as a star, and continued talking to my dad, when I happened to glance up again. The sun was shining through the clouds and casting an orange/red tint on everything, including the planes in the sky. That was when I noticed that this object glimmered just like the planes, as if the sun was casting a reflection onto it as well. At this point I called my dad over to take a look, and just as he was walking over to do so, it blinked off like a light bulb. It simply vanished.

I have no idea what it was, but for a couple of days, I thought about it, found my way here, and saw the other Euless post. I would guess that the object was at least 5000 ft in the air. It seemed to be higher than the flight path of the planes, though I am certain that they would have seen this too. It was white, but not extremely bright, just bright enough to catch your eye. It would be impossible to guess the size, other than to say it appeared small in the sky compared to the planes.

This entire event lasted about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, but in the last glimpse of the object, when the sun hit it, I could see definite shadow, and shape, which is why I started doubting it was a star at all. It was just perfectly rounded sphere that put off a slight white light. Thanks

on the drive home from work at the airline i work for i started seeing movement in my forward vision. Iwas driving and looking almost directly west at the time. It was moving slowly from left to right (south to north) in the direction of Alliance Airport. I couldnt see it clearly because it seemed to be shifting somehow. I thought at first it was a small aircraft towing a banner as that would account for the rectangular shape but it was too blocky in appearance to be a banner unless it was either moving tangentially away from me or toward me.

The color was a greyish..but it was mottled and also made me think it was a semi transparent banner from a pretty good distance.

The other thing that made me discount the banner was it was moving a good bit too fast to be a banner..they simply dont move that quickly.

It wasnt that fast because i could easily get the general movement of the object even though it was vague. For a moment i thought it may have been 2 aircraft in formation but discounted that as well because of the way it moved. i lost site of the object as it appeared to move away or turn with the narrow part of it toward me..i also was going under an overpass and when i came back out on the other side scanning the full horizon lost it all together. This was a very muted image at best..but was very substantial when it first appeared. the size of it when holding thumb and forefinger at arms length would be about an inch. It is altogether impossible for me to say how far it was..but the airport i related it to (Alliance) is approximately 10 miles n-w of where i-d put the image

Craft searching a field

I was out in the county, going to a spot my friends and I liked to part at. I was driving around the corner before Devil's Backbone, when I saw it. At first I thought it was an airplane, the airports only a few miles away, but something about it wasn't quite right. I pulled off of the road at an observation spot for the backbone, which looks out over a valley. I could see the craft hovering down there, then it would fly up higher. I would estimate that it never got higher than a few thousand feet, as I could still make out individual lights. It almost seemed to be flying a search pattern, it just went back and forth, high and then low. It seemed to be moving slowly, ground speed wise. I am pretty familiar with the area where it was, and I know about how much ground it covered. It took about two minutes to make one pass over the valley, which is only about half a mile across or so. It flew by seven or eight times, then just took off like a rocket! It disappeared from my sight in about ten seconds, but there wasn't much noise, I don't know if what I heard was the wind or the craft. I do know that right before it left, I heard a train approaching the Tunnelton Tunnel, which is very near by. I could hear the whistle, probably a mile or two from me.

Bright xenon light streaks and zig zags for several minutes over Pound Ridge Reservation.

First I want to say that the Chicago O'Hare UFO report on CNN yesterday (1/5/07) was inspiring and it helped me discover your organization to share my story.

At about 2200 hrs (10:00 pm) June 30th, 2000, I was resting in bed and gazing up at stars through 2 skylites in my home. My home is situated on almost six acres of woods near the Ward Pound Ridge reservation.

I suddenly noticed a bright, bluish white, xenon light streak into view and stop. It began to zig and zag, stopping briefly at the end of each zig and zag and going from one skylite to the other. Almost as if it was looking in. I screamed to my husband to come see and he ran from the bathroom.

We ran to the north facing windows of our room and observed its zigs and zags over the tree tops, in the direction of the reservation, for several minutes. It moved laterally, diagonally and horizontally and always stopping briefly at the end of its movement.

Its size, as we observed it streaking over the treetops, was similar to a small plane's from that distance. It struck us as very similar to a firefly and we wondered if it might have been a firefly but later we saw real fireflies and they had softly green glowing bodies, clustered around each other, and did not move like this bright bluish white light did. Fireflies also did not suddenly streak off into the sky at the incredible speed that this bright light did when it was done doing whatever it was doing.

The light returned two nights later and we were able to observe it once more, now really amazed and acting like children we were high-fiving each other and yelling "we saw a UFO! and it came back to visit us!" The incredible speed that this light/object was moving at was truly unusual. We've watched planes go by and I've even spotted satellites at night moving slowly along the sky, meteorites, comets, etc, nothing moved like this thing.

My husband is a successful advertising executive and has met and worked with many prominent individuals, including Buzz Aldrin and Jane Goodal. I'm an artist, with BA in Anthropology and Sociology (magna cum laude) and mother of three and studying to get Masters in Education to teach Social Studies to adolescents. And we don't do drugs. And no one should! ;-)

I left work on the west end of Bedford from the 6 C's shopping center and drove east on Main Street. I noticed a white light in the sky at the east end of town that I had never seen there before. I watched it the entire time I drove down main street toward the CVS. As I neared the location, I realized it was a large black triangle shaped object hovering in the sky above the on ramp to hwy. 460.

I parked on Hillcrest in front of the house on the corner of Main St. and Hillcrest and walked across Main St. to the north side of the street. I was between the memorial garden and CVS, but closer to CVS.

By the time I had reached the area in my vehicle, I could no longer see a light on the craft as it hovered above and to the front of me. I could see that it was a smooth lined triangle without any points jutting out from the silhouette of the craft like stealth bombers do. It was very still at first, made no noise and no wind. It was literally floating.

I watched the triangle slowly turn toward the south as it traveled in a gentle arc from above the exit ramp, over my car parked in front of the house on Hillcrest, over the treeline and out over Hwy. 460 and on southward past the trees until it was out of my line of sight.

I noticed as it turned that I could see what I assume was the back of the craft and as the object turned and the corner of the craft passed me I could see on the back of the craft one white light. As it kept turning, another white light came into view on the back side of the craft on the opposite side.

The craft made no noise as it floated past me, and none of the trees moved underneath it, indicating there was no air displacement from any propulsion on the craft. The object passed right over the tops of the trees and never disturbed them a bit.

The object was large enough that had it landed where the house was, it would have completely crushed the house.

In the years since then, at no regular intervals, I have had strange things happen to me that I can't explain. Never been abducted, that I know of. Just strange things.

My cousin and I was riding on his 4 wheeler around 11 at night and we were riding over a hump at the bottom of the road. In doing this the headlights would shine up in the air, we noticed what appeared to be a helicopter and thought it would be funny to make our headlights shine on the object. We turned around and went over the hump again.
At this point we noticed it was getting closer and we thought it was the cops or something and got scared and got back on the road and took off to get away. I noticed that there was no noise which was odd because if it was a helicopter it was close enough we would've heard it for sure.
We were hauling ass down the road and this thing was right behind us following closely. We got back to the house driveway and to the camper which was parked there and was where we were sleeping that night. The light shot over the hill in front of us, we jumped into the camper and was freaking out.
After a minute or so I went back outside and as I walked to the fence that was near I saw the light fly back over and stopped just over the cattle field in front of me. It appeared to be approximately 40 feet above the ground and all the sudden there was the most brilliant blue ball of light which appeared to just fall from the object and when it hit the ground it look just like a welders spark, it splattered the whole ground in the area of about 20 feet.
As I was mesmerized by this blue light the object seemed to disappear or flew off so fast I didn't see it. It was just gone. I never went and looked at the ground, I went back inside and went to sleep with wonder.
I tried to tell my parents but I was just a kid and no one would believe us. It wasn't the first time my cousin had seen this light.

Huge totally silent triangular object glides overhead as we drive in our car for more than 2 miles. Very close range. Red lights and yellow lights.

We were travelling on our usual route home from a practice at 9:30 pm. As we approached the Shell gas station on Rt. 22 in Bedford I noticed a row of red lights above the station. Hmm, I never noticed a bunch of wires or something with lights there before, I thought to myself. Suddenly I noticed the lights were moving. (The sky was very dark, so at this point all I saw were the lights.) "What the hell is that?!" I blurted out to my child. We turned the corner at the Shell station onto route 172 and I opened my window and kept driving and asked my daughter to keep watching it as it was now still on the drivers side but sort of traveling with my car. I dont recall any other cars around us. I opened my window to try to see it better and hear it. The next thing I said was, "The thing is HUGE!" It was more of a feeling because I couldnt see it clearly. (It must have been black.) The shape was more implied than seen--triangular or possibly boomerang shaped, but very straight lines. There was absolutely no sound at all. I couldn't believe something could fly and be that quiet. I kept thinking of some kind of "glider." Anyway, we drove along and it passed overhead and now it was on my right hand side. I finally stopped the car because it kept going to the north and I wanted to get a look at it, but it disappeared (downwards) behind the tree or brushline just before the highway (Rt.684). When I first saw it I thought about the fact that the Westchester Co. airport was only about ten miles away in the direction it was coming from, but I've never seen anything like that from an airport. My daughter and I went home and drew pictures of it (separately) to show our family. I never reported it to anyone, but I have recently heard a couple people describe the exact same thing......We were not frightened, just interested, and when the thing was going out of our sight we could see yellow lights as well as red. I remember back 15 yrs or so there was some kind of ufo sightings or hoax or something regarding the ai! rport at Stormville. I am not a UFO buff. This is the only one I have ever seen in my half-century of life. Sorry this is so old. Do you know what this could have been?

1991 - Bedford, Pa-Triangular-3 Red Lights-Ship rotated to it's side-20-25 minutes

I was pulling in my driveway from work and had just parked, when i sighted 3 lights above the mountain top. As i moved to the house, I noticed that the lights started moving towards me. My guess is that it was about an 40 yard walk. The object drew nearer to my house at a very steady rate. I ran about 10 yards to the door just being freaked out.

Out of panic i rushed in and yelled for my father who was sitting in his chair. He immediatley got up and both of us proceeded to go out on front porch. At my surprise the object was directly above us. This is where my opinions differ from other reports.

As the object flew from the mountains it looked flat, like the oters reported, all 3 lights were horizantal. When we got out on the porch, the object was above us and the lights were then vertical, as if it completely turned on it's side. There was no noise. The object seemed to be about the length of a football field. I ran into house to get a video recorder which is where this got scary.

When I returned to the porch, lights still there, it was like an ery feeling in the air. We had a barn with horses in it. These horses (apprx. 4) were screaming-not normally. They were kicking the walls. There screams were terrorizing and as this continued there were also dogs up the road that were carring on too! As i went to record this the object just vanished. within minutes everything seemed back to normal. This is something that my father as well I, have never discussed with anyone! One out of fear of what we saw and heard, two--the normal, we're nuts column.

We lived in Centreville, PA along rt 220 (I-99). Between 2 mountains-- one is called Wills Mountain, not sure of the other. There are also 2 dams thereas well. (Koont'z Lake). Centreville lies between Bedford, Pa (about 15 miles) and Cumberland, Md (about 15 miles). It's a very small town, mostly farm and woodlands.

I do not live here no more but do live in Bedford, Pa. My father resides in Cumberland, Md.

These statements ARE true. The lights were big red circlular lights. I have never seen an aircrat of that size-speed-or quiteness. Nor one that would turn sideways and just hover there with no noise.

A stationary single bright light southwest of Bedford, Pa. From that same area smaller whites numbering 12 one right after another appeared to travel in a straight line away from the single bright stationary one. At certain times one of the ones smaller ones would become brighter or surge in brightness and appear to grow in size. I am not sure if they were circling around the stationary bright one or they were individuallly moving away but they all appeared to be equi-distance away from one another.

saw one flashing light in sky similar to aircraft lights on wings, saw 3 other similar lights flashing, all came together as one, took off towards the north. we were near Hanscom air base.

my friends and i were in a field near hanscom air base in bedford ma. looking up at the sky when we noticed a light moving in a zig-zag fashion. it reminded me of the way a small aircraft's lights strobe. we noticed that this was not a small craft but a light, moving erratically, with no certain shape to it. it made no noise whatsoever. we observed this one light for approximately 2 minutes, all of the sudden we saw another light acting the same way, then another light, and then one more light. at first the lights were far apart in the sky but began to move in closer to each other. we observed all 4 lights merge together as on solid light and take off to the north. my friends and i could not beleive what we had just seen. we were totally amazed. we never reported this sighting to authorities, nor do we know of any other witnesses. i thought it was strange though because we were less than a mile from the airbase.

Strange light on mountain, power outage in house, then flew over our vehicle.

To begin, this area had been visited, by UFOs, a few times prior to my eye witness account.

A group of high school friends and myself had planned a “jam” at one of the musicians house, about 7 miles from the city of Bedford, VA. He had been working on his house for a few years, and was ready to break it in with a full-on jam. We were told, by the owner, that he recently saw a strange light near the top of the mountain, in a small clearing near the top. (There are no roads that anyone could drive to reach this location). He also had seen a UFO at the base of the mountain, on the road that leads to his driveway, in a large pasture, maybe only 100 yards away, but didn’t like telling people about the experience.

As we drove up his mostly rocky driveway, and I saw a light where he had been telling us about. We didn’t really say anything, just unloaded our equipment, set up, and began to play some music. Maybe 30-40 minutes passed and the power went off in the whole house, right in the middle of a song. We froze and didn’t make a sound. It was pitch dark in the room. The owner scrambled and found a flashlight so we could see and set our instruments down, then he just yelled out, “we have to go now”! I noticed he was holding a shotgun. We starting running to the cars, but all of us jumped in one vehicle. I was shoved in the back seat in the middle so I missed the fly-over.

Now, this is the part where everyone was in survival mode and frantic at the same time.

I am usually the driver in all situations, because I like being in charge, but not this time. The next memory I have is being back in Lynchburg, and getting dropped off at my parents house. That’s it! No memory of the ride, nothing. I have a great visual memory when it comes to driving.

The event only lasted a few minutes.

Recently, this year, 2012, I confronted two of my friends that were there, and the stories are a little different. One friend that I still play music with, did see the fly-over, but not I. One other person, the owner, remembers nothing now of the event but still remembers the other times he has seen lights on the mountain, and flying around the mountain making no sound.
