I've captured these high altitude objects after sunset and this one sped away at an incredible speed. Seeing as many 25-30 on clear nights is not uncommon. Some will change speed and/or change direction. It's hard to imagine these are satellites or planes as they appear to be extremely high in our atmosphere or higher. (Ignore the dates on the video....When I changed the batteries I forgot to reset the correct date.)

I have no idea what these are and would welcome feedback if anyone has any ideas. I would also welcome advice on what devices I could use to obtain better captures that may actually reduce the glare to provide more definition to the object itself. Purely speculation but if these are man made objects above us in our atmosphere, how exciting it would be if it were revealed these capabilities exist. i.e. Spaceforce.

It's also worth mentioning, although some of these can be seen with the naked eye, many can only be seen by using the night vision. The night vision allows me to capture the objects for a longer period of time. I hope to learn how to stabilize the videos for better viewing at a later date.

Filmed Multiple lights with Nightscope - Changing Speed

I routinely can capture various lights traveling across the sky during clear night skies using a Nightscope. On this particular night (Either March 4 or March 11) I filmed this object that sped away at a fantastic speed.

I have many of these types of videos. It isn't uncommon to capture 10-15 per sitting. I have recorded some changing direction, increasing speeds and others with multiple lights converging. (Some could obviously be satellites.)

10+ bright lights traveling in serial over West Michigan

At approximately 1930 on December 22, 2019, I was sitting in the hot tub outdoors enjoying the winter weather and the bright, clear sky over Michigan. I had just asked my children which star they thought was the brightest in the sky, and as I looked west, I noticed at least four bright lights traveling in serial across the sky, fading as they traveled further as if disappearing into the distance. They were traveling in a straight line, appearing perfectly spaced from one another and traveling along the same exact path. As they traveled further and began to disappear one at a time, new lights continued to appear from over the tree line until at least 10 of them had traveled along the same exact path and disappeared. The lights had the same appearance as stars, but shone much brighter and were obviously far closer. They did not move like, or appear to be, airplanes.

Based on experiences I had in the military, my initial impression was that these might have been missiles or rockets being test-fired over Lake Michigan from a launch point somewhere in West Michigan – possibly near the area of St Joseph based on where they appeared to be coming from. However, I am unaware of any launch or test sites in this area.

Flying object with lights similar to planes flies in front of trees far too close to the ground.

11:20pm.

I decided to stretch my legs and I looked out my window to see if my father was going to arrive home. No one drove by, I could only see the light of my neighbor's house, but then I see a few blinking lights passing by. My first thought was a plane, until I saw it go in front of trees. Planes don't go in front of trees that you're fifty feet away from.

It was composed of several lights, such as; red, yellow, orange. I could not see it's shape, but it simply hovered above the road very fast and went upwards, and it's also important to note that it was not an area that planes travel. No one plays with drones in this area, it's a busy road and nobody would be flying something they paid so much for over a road they could accidentally drop it on and have it get run over. It flew in front of dark trees until I saw it disappear out of my sight. I was only 20 feet away from the road. My best guess is that it was about the size of a smaller car.

I wanted to chase after it, but mosquitoes are grossly overpopulated and the pine trees suck to walk on, and even if I went and grabbed my shoes, it would be out of sight and gone.

I'm a very scientific person and I ruled out all possibilities of what it could be besides UFOs but this is my last resort. It hadn't caused me trouble and I'm a young guy, going on this site and seeing the last reported sighting on the home page was in my general area freaked me out a little.

I was on my way to work and looking at all the planes leaving trails in the sky (about 15 to 20 planes in a 20 minute period all leaving huge contrails) I pulled in my work parking lot and saw two black dots which I assumed were hawks but as I looked closer I could clearly tell they were perfect spheres almost like black marbles. They both paused in the sky and one started moving and one stayed still then moved at an angle and it had a bright metallic reflection. It went one way then instantly changed direction and went complete opposite way. They were both parallel moving away from each other, one North, one South. I was on the phone and I hung up and as soon as my camera app opened they both were gone.

So, I called my fiance back and after being on the phone 2 minutes one object began travelling north and I watched it travel about the speed of a plane at probably 400 feet in the air completely silent it was a perfect black metallic orb/spherical shape. Nothing after that and I had to go inside the building at that time.

Object in sky lit up close above tree line hovering then disappears and reappears same spot.

I spotted an object which was closer to the tree line. I was unable to tell the shape exactly if I zoom in on the picture it is a bright light rectangle in shape. It appears to have bright lights on bottom, it hovers in one spot. It is very noticeable. It appeared for a few minutes then went away and then reappeared for a minute and disappeared.

I also saw it in the same exact place a few nights ago.

Streak of light heading up at a 60d angle. It looked just like a meteor, but going up, not coming down.

I was talking on the phone with my nephew when I was looking out the window to the South West. I saw what I would describe as a reverse meteor. It went up from the ground at about 50-60d angle at 2-3 times the speed of a meteor. If it were coming down, I would have said it was a meteor, but to go up on an angle!!?? Now there was a storm heading our way, but I know the difference between lighting and a streak heading into the upper atmosphere. I would say it looked similar to the way fireworks would go up, but many, many times faster. It went as far as I could see in a flash.

If it weren’t for a darker grey sky in the background with the storm coming, it probably would have never been noticed.

Sitting in the frontyard my wife,brother,and I were having a little chat about football. Stopping in the middle of my thoughts I saw "what I thought was a star" floating across the sky above. Pointing it out to everybody still in a daze from realizing this couldnt be a star it hasnt dimmed. Nor could it be a plane it wasnt blinking at all. It was at a nice cruise then faded from a yellow lighting to something of gray or silver.Moments later the silver star disappeared behind the trees.

Arc of 7 - 8 stationary red "asterisks" not very high up in the sky.

At first, I saw two red lights similar to asterisks. I initially thought they were planes signaling each other, as I am in a flight path and they were very close to each other. Within a second, I saw approximately 7-8 more stationary red "asterisks." They were formed in an arc and hovered over a mountain in the distance. As one appeared on the left side of the arc, one disappeared, or kind of faded, on the right side. This appearing and disappearing continued for several seconds. Then, all of a sudden, they all disappeared. Poof!! Gone. As I held my arm out, the formation measured approximately two inches.

I'm just a female person who comes down to the Vicksburg/Salome area for the Tucson Gem Show from early January to late February.

At about 9:15 last night I was observing the sky when out of nowhere a fiery object appeared and streaked across the sky, upon seeing the object I did hear a loud boom. The object was on fire as it streaked across the sky after watching it my eyes were burning like if you look into the sun. The best way to describe it: like a giant fireball. I routinely stargaze but I have never seen anything like this. It was kind of terrifying for a moment and I ran inside to tell my wife and we waited for an hour outside hoping it would happen again but it didn’t. When I turned on my TV this morning I saw on the news where people in my state saw the same thing.

Blinking lights in triangle formation over Vicksburg, leaving behind two large clouds of smoke then disappearing

Approximately at 6:20 PM (CST) as I was driving towards Vicksburg from the Delta exit as I was approaching the bridge I saw blinking white lights on what I thought was possibly helicopters flying in formation headed SE over the river. As I watched whatever it was it became clear it wasn’t an airplane or helicopters. All of a sudden it (or they) seemed to stop in the sky briefly and shoot out a huge black / gray cloud of smoke then within a split second turned 180 degrees (maybe it turned before it sprayed the smoke…) and in what seemed like a second it was back over the river headed NW and once again sprayed another huge black or dark grey cloud after which the lights were gone. Both ‘clouds’ didn’t move, they just hung there for as long as I could see as I passed under one and what I could see in my review mirror as I passed through Vicksburg.

Redish Orange light view by 10 people from boat, moving, stopping then out of sight vertically.

UFO was a redish Orange round ball in the South sky which moved fast horizontally then stopped, moving again and again, then stopping.(Stopped for 2-3 mintues at a time.) It then finally moved straight out into the atmosphere, disappearing. It then was back, (10 minutes later) at an even lower sighting just below the handle of the big dipper, moving horizontally to the North then West and just sat for 2 to 3 minutes or so. It then moved out of sight, getting smaller and smaller until it was gone.

All stars in the night sky were white, moon was bright in the South-East sky and this redish glow moved about, slow then fast, slow then fast. It was not constant as the satellites moving through the sky, this redish glow moved then stopped many times.

The sky was dark as 10 of us watched fireworks around the lake from a boat, we all viewed this object straight up in the southern sky. It never traveled out of sight moving horizontally.

2 bright lights moving at a high rate of speed over Vicksburg,MS

At around 8:30pm on April 26 my girlfriend and I were parking our car in downtown Vicksburg,MS to go eat when I looked up and saw a bright light, kinda like a flare a military plane shoots out to evade air to ground missles. It was approaching from the east traveling at a high rate of speed and was even leaving a bright trail as it went by. There was a low cloud cover that night and it was just below the clouds. I told my girlfriend to look and she saw it as well. When it got about even with my car it took an immediate 90deg turn to the north when and up into the clouds. At that point you could clearly see that is was not one but two(2) lights as they both dissapeared.

The next morning I called the local newspaper and police dept. to see if anybody had reported seeing it as well but nobody had.

Saucer, flickering green and blue lights, about 30 ft in air, big flash, blinded me for 30 sec and then it was gone.

First Off I am 15 years old. I was up one night around 11:30 PM. I was looking out my bedroom window and I saw a Saucer shaped object. There were blue and green lights flickering back and fourth. It was moving at a very fast speed. Apoximatly 30ft in the air. Just above the tree line in our front yard. I saw the object for about 15 sec. Then it just disapeared to no where in sight. Then I Saw a really bright flash. It got so bright that I couldn't see strait for a few seconds. It was almost like it blinded me for about 30 seconds. It was very amazing. I have never seen anything like this before. Do you think this was an incodent of a ufo?

WE THEN NOTICED ANOTHER ONE TO THE EAST OF IT DOING EXACTLY THE SAME THING. MY HUSBAND GRABBED HIS VIDEO-CAMERA AND ATTEMPTED TO TAPE THEM BOTH. IT WASN'T UNTIL WE GOT HOME AND PLAYED IT ON OUR T.V. FRAME-BY-FRAME THAT WE REALIZED THIS WAS NO STAR!! WE STILL CANNOT DETERMINE WHAT SHAPE THEY WERE NOR,WHAT THEY WERE BECAUSE IT APPEARS AS THOUGH THEY CHANGE FROM FRAME TO FRAME. UFO sighted by numerous people

My lady friend and I had gone to the Dollar General Store in Vicksburg, MS. She was babysitting two children, 4 yrs. old and 6 yrs. old, who were with us. My friend went into the store and I sat in my truck with the kids and waited for her. It was about 5:30 pm, and the sun was going down. The sky was very clear and still a light color but the ground was almost as dark as night. The younger child pointed into the sky and said that she saw a light in the sky, which I'm sure was the crescent moon. When I looked up to see what it was, I saw the moon, which is what I think she was looking at. Then I looked to the side of the moon a considerable distance and I saw a dark object in the sky that was shaped like a plump Hershey's Kiss, or perhaps a teardrop with a slightly flattened-out botton. It was black in a apearance with a pointed top and seemed to have an extremely faint aura around it that my friend also noticed. There were no lights on it, and it made no sound whatsoever. It was due east of us, as I was looking in the direction of the Mississippi River from the store's parking lot in the Beechwood area.

I got out of my truck partway and stared at it. It moved closer very slowly at a slight angle coming from left to right. I stood and watched it for about 3 or 4 minutes. It got about 30-50% larger as it seemed to come closer. Then it stopped moving and hovered in place. At this point it seemed to be at an altitute of between 500 and 600 ft. if my speculations of distance and size of the object were correct. I watched it for about 2 or 3 minutes, and noticed that several other people in the parking lot were also staring at it. A black couple in their late twenties spoke to me briefly about it, and I asked the man if it seemed like it was about 500 yards away, no more than 1000. He agreed that it was about that far away. My friend came out of the store and watched it with me. After another minute or two, it began to slowly move upward. I drove Sharon, the kids, and myself toward the object into the lot of a strip mall about a mile closer. I stopped and got out and we stared at the object until it became too small to see. It took about 10 minutes for the object to ascend out of sight. As it rose, it did not move to one side or another whatsoever. It just moved exactly straight upwards. I estimate the diameter of the object to have been at least 15 ft. and may possible have been 3 times that size. It was difficult to estimate it's size without knowing it's true distance from us.

It could not have been a balloon of any kind, because a balloon would have moved to one side or another (or gotten larger or smaller depending on your perspective, as it rose. There would have undoubtably been air currents somewhere between ground level and 1,000 ft. of altitude which would have caused a balloon to move sideways to some degree as it rose that far upwards. It could not have been an aircraft, such as a helicopter, because it made no sound, and helicopters make a lot of noise with their large props, and can be easily heard from a few miles away. If it were any kind of machine with a piston or turbine engine and a propeller, it would have made a lot of sound. Furthermore, law requires that all aircraft have blinking lights so that they are visible by the pilots of other aircraft, yet this object was completely black in appearance.

Observed an orange fireball with between 4-6 trailing fireballs streaking across the sky in a SW to NE direction

At 7:05PM eastern time on the night of 11/16/99 I was sitting on the couch in the living room of my friends house. We had been deer hunting all day and were discussing the day's events when I caught a light out of the corner of my eye. The picture window in the living room was directly to my back and I looked up and saw this orangish (extremely bright!) object followed by several other smaller but similar objects streaking across the sky from southwest to northeast in direction. I yelled at my friend to "look, look now, hurry!, he jumped out of his chair and looked out the window and saw the last 2-3 seconds of it. Through the window I would guess that I had a view of approximately 20% of the sky and I saw the object for 8-10 seconds. I know you have a lot of reports on this but thought you might like another. The time and date are specific as I checked the clock immediately. I am an avid meteor watcher. I try to observe all the meteor showers and was going to go out later that night to try to see some that were expected but did not plan on seeing anything like this. The meteor shower for the 17th was a total dud in this area except for this fireball which I do not believe was related at all. I have seen many shooting stars, some quite amazing and none of them begin to match this one size, brightness or duration!

I saw a large object in the clear sky On the night of Oct 2 1999. it was round and so bright that it looked to be about 4-5 times larger than the satalite it was beside. it stayed in place for about 2 min's. all at once the light went out and there were four red lights, and it went straight up and was gone in less than 1 second.

Strange light, Craft and Motion

Friend and I were walking west to our camping spot and noticed a strange color light to the north at treetop level. Not only was the light strange the shape and motion also was different. It was a orangish yellow color in a parallelogram shape tumbling head over heels so to speak. My friend was frightened as we both said what is that, within minutes a guy my friend knew stopped where we were and asked us if we saw it. Seems that he was coming home from work (2nd shift) when his motorcycle died on him, than the craft silently flew (tumbled) over him. He restarted his bike and stopped when he met us on the private lane. He was fairly animated and distraught from the experience which only made my friend more concerned about camping out that night. We got to our tent and I had to convince him to stay, I told him I'd sleep outside and he could stay in the tent if I saw anything else I would wake him. This is where it gets stranger. I believe we both fell asleep. I had a strange dream this night and it was recurring for years, where I was running and trying to hide from a creature and every time it catches meI Wake up.

I woke up that night and went in the tent and my friend wasn't in there, so I went home. The next day I asked what happened, he said he heard a noise and looked out for me and I was gone. So he went home and got to bed at 02:00, I got home at 04:00. We never really talked about this ever and I don't know why, I reached out to him in later years and he still refuses to talk about this. I believe that this was my 2nd experience with the first happening in Detroit in spring of 1966.

Looked like a large meteorite ablaze

When I was a kid and about 10 a bunch of us kids used to lie on the grass and look at the sky for shooting stars. Once, a large object came from over the horizon directly at us not REAL high that was ablaze and was going FAST! I remember I thought It was a meteorite, but it came at too flat of an angle to come directly from the sky. It appeared and was gone in an instant. It seemed like only the front was ablaze

The object moved in an erratic motion

when I was a kid and about 10 a bunch of us kids used to lie on the grass and look at the sky for shooting stars. Once we saw what looked like a star moving erratically in the sky in a slow zig zag motion. I don’t remember that it left.
