a round, illuminated object with a "counter-clockwise arrow" on the face moving slowly from overhead to east.

At sunset, saw what I thought was a planet or mini-moon overhead or a little north-northwest of center/zenith. Over time it moved/floated east/southeast at a very high altitude. I then thought it might be a balloon, but it was perfectly round. With binoculars, I was able to see a design on the "face." It was a semi-circular arrow beginning at 12 o'clock and going to the left until about 7 o'clock. It was opaque and two-toned and appeared to be lit from within. It started out bright white and faded to ivory as it headed east and faded away.

Odd vertical light hovers up and down, repeat sighting

Odd vertical light hovers up and down, viewing this to the east, last for several minutes, white with reddish orangish light, just above tree line horizon, this is not the first time we've seen this, last year and then a few nights ago.

lights in the middle of the night in South Alabama

My mother, brother, and I went down to south Alabama for Mardi Gras this year and spent the night at our grabdmothers house. The firts siting occurance took place at 2:00am around Feb. 22, 2004. the locatiopn of the house is in the middle of nowhere so it is unlikely that it was people. The only person who saw this light was my grandmother so this part is second hand. She claims that she woke up around 2 o'clock in the morning by a blood red light flashing in her room, she stated that the light was only there for about 3 min. there was no sound. the way the room is situated on the bottom cornor of the house she could see the lights in her bathroom window and side window, she claims that it light the hole room up like a roman candle. that after noon i went to the area were there might have been tracks and could not find any.

the second occurance took place the same day that night. i was out in the guest house with my brother watching TV. my brother had already gone to bed and was sleeping across the room. when i went to bed it turned off the lights in the house and left the tv on so i could watch a little more. a few min later a yellow light flashed out side the kitchenette window and light up the small one room house i did not take into consideration that it might have been a UFO because a drivewa runs right behind the house and i dismissed it as the neighbor, but the only thing that got me to rethink me evaluation was the absence of noise from the hole event. if you have seen anything like this win south Alabama or west Florida during this time please post your siting report.

i dont know how much this has to do with the siting but just a few days later i had a wierd dream that i was standing in a field and i could feel the wind blowing, i was looking up in the sky watching the stars and a pllane flew into view as the plane reached the center of my sight an object behind the plane light up vvery brightly causing me to squint. the object was a circular craft with lights that spun around the craft it manuvered itself over the plane witch light up appearing to be a boeing 747 (i live in Savannah, GA so i know the difference in a UFO and an airplane of any type) then another hugh flash of light and the Plane was gone and the UFO fle woff at a great speed to my left in the dream at a great rate of speed.

disk shaped craft with sequential lights at approx, 100' altitude crossing fields then hiway I was traveling.

I was traveling north on Hwy. 27 in Baldwin County, Al on my way in to work on the graveyard shift. I had just passed the Texaco Station on my left and as I made it through the intersection I could clearly see a craft of some sort at what I would guess would be a distance of about 1/2 mile. From that distance it appeared to maintain it's altitude and I continued driving toward it not wanting to believe my eyes. As I closed on the craft I realized that although at first it appeared to be approaching from a direct right angle ( from the east to west) it actually crossed the Hwy heading in what appeared to be a southwest direction using the hiway as true north. In reality I was actually beginning to slow my vehicle as I approached the craft. I remembered looking in my rearview mirror to see if any other cars were behind me and witnessing the same. But I only at best remember possibly seeing other headlights ( of other vehicles). My attention was strictly focused on the large craft that was now beginning to cross the hiway at what appeared to be an altitude of about 100-140 feet. It appeared to be disk shaped from the side view but as it passed over the road I could detect a V-design to the rear. At first sighting, what was so obvious were the sequential lights that appeared to be flashing aroung the edge of the the disk. What seemed odd were the almost sci-fi quality to the movement of lights and the colors. Seemed like yellow, green, red. Can't fully recall exactly. As it passed over the road I could tell by the outline of sequential lights looking from a rear angle that there was a V-design of sorts. By now (the time that the craft passed over the road) I had stopped my vehicle and pulled over on the narrow shoulder of the road and had the window down, with my head out the window in awe of what I was witnessing. I remember briefly looking back again for other vehicles but my attention was quickly returned. As I watched, it continued across the road and over a stretch of tall pines. I don't remember ever! hearing any sounds like conventional aircraft would be making at that altitude and no more than 300-500 feet away from me. I had a camera in my backpack but I could not reach it so I noticed a driveway about 1/8 mile north of my position whereby I could turn around and retrieve my camera so as it disappeared over the tree tops, I sped up to the driveway and got my camera only to be obscured from view by the tall pines. It obviously did not alter course and I lost sight due to trees. But it passed within 500 feet of a residence in this farmland, tyoe open setting. The night was clear and so was my mind as I was rested and heading in to work. No drugs, booze. Sober as a judge. The craft I approximate was about 80 to 100 feet across the beam and about the same length wise. This event changed my life. I had always, as most people, been a skeptic regarding UFO sightings. But now I know that what I saw I have never seen before and probably never again. I wish I knew what it was. I remember thinking why would something that big and silent have such highly visible lights. Thinking that a higher intelligence would have some cloaking or camoflauge to it. This thing was highly visible, but like I stated earlier, I could detect no sound over the idle of my own engine.
