Round bright objects seen in the sky over Thomas County

Out walking the dogs with my husband and happened to look up. It was a clear night. Saw two or three round bright flickering objects in the sky moving towards the East sky. When we both looked to the direction they were heading there were anywhere from 20-30 additional sized objects following in the same direction together, but not in any uniform pattern. We watched them for approximately 15 to 20 minutes before they disappeared beyond the trees. My husband and I discussed it again today and still have no idea what we saw. If it wasn't for the speed of the two or three objects trying to catch up to the group, we thought maybe they were lighted balloons or lanterns that people let off into the sky, but they were too far up in the sky. We heard no sounds of planes or saw any in the area at the time of this sighting. I am a skeptical person as my husband is as well and we really saw something that was really unexplainable. We know what we saw, and tried to! video record it with our phones, but they were too far up in the sky to get a good recording.

Never had this happen before.

We are in our 50's and professional individuals, and are stunned to say the least.

Two Helicopters Chasing Red Orbs.

I witnessed two helicopters flying in an erratic fashion, stopping, changing direction frequently. From a distance, I could see that there were additional steady illuminated red lights that could not belong to the helicopters.

The two helicopters seemed to be travelling too close to one another and had their searchlights on, which seemed odd so I continued to observe. When they flew above me, (approx 200-250 ft) I saw that the searchlights were spotted on the red lights and the red lights did not attach to any aircraft.

I witnessed two helicopters, each "chasing" a red orb. The orbs sped off due east and the helicopters followed. I attempted to continue my observance by vehicle but could not keep up.

Six deep orange lights in night sky and three of them in triangle formation.

First of all, I am not the type of person who looks for UFOs and have never been particularly interested in the topic, but what my husband and I saw last Saturday night was so extraordinary I felt the need to report it.

We were in our backyard between 10:00 and 10:30 pm and my husband had walked out to the middle of the yard to throw the ball for our dog. He looked up and told me to come look at something. It was a round, very vivid deep orange circle of light moving across the sky at a fairly slow and steady pace. It was very low and so close that it appeared to be right above our neighbor’s roof.

Another one came behind the first one and as we were watching these I saw several more coming through the trees in the back of our yard. When they cleared the trees we could see that it was three in a perfect triangle formation. These three stayed the exact same distance from each other the whole time. One more followed after that. They were coming from the southwest and moving northeast, and were completely silent.

We watched each one as they passed over our neighborhood and then seemed to “disappear.” We could see the flashing navigation lights of planes much higher above and I do know that these were not planes.

Unfortunately, we were so mesmerized and in disbelief at what we were seeing that we didn’t run inside for our phones to document it. It is so difficult to comprehend the fact that we actually saw what we saw and at this time I have no explanation for it but would truly love one. I don’t know what it was that we saw but I have never seen anything like it in my life.

I had dreams of being "chipped," and the next night I was abducted and chipped.

I do not remember much of it, but: Well, the night before the abduction, I had a dream of being chipped (it was square and translucent, It went into my flesh without needing it to be cut beforehand), then the next night I was abducted by tall aliens (like 220 cm minimum) that were very pale (albino like).

I then had a white tool put onto my hand, and when it was taken away a minute later, there was a cut. I can feel the chip, it is not scar tissue, as there is no scar. I do not remember there being any pain during this, but I am not good at remembering things other than words and pictures.

The next morning, I woke up with a purple hand and the cut still there.

(I do not know if this is related to anything, but...) My leg has been going numb for no reason since then.

strange rectangle shape mass floating over outskirts of our town

I was browsing this list to see if anyone else had seen what me & my brother saw this same night. I have been trying to figure out this whole time what exactly this thing was & was so shocked to find that someone had actually reported this thing & saw it besides us. On this night, my brother left his house on one side of town (but on the side of town our home was located) going wherever he was going, when he phoned me to tell me about this incredible thing he was looking at as we speak. Some big square/rectangle like object just slowly cruising through the sky not far from the ground. I listened & payed him no mind really as he can be kind of goofy at times. But I did hear him out only because he sounded so ecstatic while telling me. Shortly after, I had to leave to go to my daughters house, (also on the same side of town as me) when I turned on one of the streets to get there, as I approached the bridge I noticed a big foreign object in the sky. Exactly the! description the person reported in this list, almost invisible but only because it blended into the night sky & I was only able to make out some strange rectangle like shape in an upright position just cruising on over the bridge right above me as I slowed to a crawl continuing underneath it. I watched this thing float over the bridge from right to left as I passed under it. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It amazed me so that the only thing I could think to do was to call my brother as fast as I could & tell him what I had just witnessed. I only had a cheap flip phone at the time & was not able to catch a picture, plus I was driving, riding in my car, freaked out at the sight of it anyhow. Unfortunately, I was the only one on the road at the time. So no one else saw it on this back road on the outskirts of town. We reside in the county. All of us do. And it was dark. I phoned my husband immediately after, to tell him that I think I saw what my brother had just seen. And of course I told my daughter when I arrived at her house. ! I hate that I wasn't able to catch it on film but I did do a drawing of it as soon as I got home. I still have that sketch & have just been sitting on it since then because I honestly believed that no one else had seen this thing other than me & my brother. It did have huge black windows across (what I would believe to be) the front of it & only a few little flashing lights in various places along it. It was like a dark greyish color with a "boxy" type shape. Like a square nose, then a vertical rectangle like body with a triangle like top but off to one side. From my direction the triangle top would be off to the right top side. It was very strange. No sound at all. It made no noise. Just hovering but moving at the same time. Slowly. I watched it as long as I could while continuing to drive & trying frantically to make a phone call to my brother until it had gone off in the distance opposite to where I was going. I watched it until I couldn't see it anymore. But this thin! g couldn't have been more than several hundred feet above the ground because with the bridge I was on, the thing wasn't more than 100 ft or so above me? Or so it seemed. It was huge & seemed to float right over me? But I'm not very good at measurements, so I can't say for sure. I have just been curious if anyone else had seen anything similar in or around our town. Then I found this site. Never knew it existed til today but I am relieved to find that someone else may have witnessed this thing also.

I heard a noise and looked for a plane, then I saw this.

I heard a buzzing noise, so looked around for aircraft and saw a plane, and this square object the color of the sky almost invisible but it had 4 red lights in each corner at first 2 of the lights on the same side were blinking then only one blinked then there were just 2 red lights on one side and 4 yellow lights 2 in each corner.

The object went faster than a plane and went in an octagonal path then after circling a few times flew away into a cloud.

High Altitude bright light follows odd path in NC Sky

At roughly 1020 PM EST, in North Carolina roughly 8 miles south of Thomasville, I noted a small white light pulsing, though not to the point that it vanished from sight, rather it simply grew brighter then dimmer, brighter then dimmer at a roughly 1 to 2 second interval, at a very high altitude overhead.

Initially, I believed it to just be a star, or when I noticed it moving, a shooting star. However, the pattern which it follow was very odd as it was basically curving back and forth, essentially an S or Wave shaped flight path that would, to my knowledge, be impossible for any current manned flight or air traffic common to my area as the back and forth pattern was too tight to be a plane.

It traveled across the sky for roughly a minute before fading out, starting near the northern most star in the big dipper (as per the sky in my area) following a roughly south, to south south west pattern.

I was driving down Unity street and to the right of my truck I saw a round disk hovering over the tree line with bright blue lights.

Then the light went half blue and half red, then back to all blue again. After that the lights started changing in sequence from blue, red, green and yellow. The disk was stationary at first and then it started rocking from side to side. Then it straightened out again, then started rocking again. I drove forward slowly to try to get a better look and by the time I got into another clearing, it was gone.

2 sighting a month apart, 1st being red lights engulfing my car, 2nd being 3 triangle crafts in a circle formation with white lights.

I stumbled across this site in an effort to find out information about some very bright red lights that hovered over my car in 1979 in Thomasville, NC.

I was driving home and red lights engulfed my car, with no noise, no sighting of craft. I remember being scared out of my mind and driving like a maniac to reach my home about 5 miles away. Being only 16 at the time and unaware of the silent helicopters that have red lights that the military had, of course I thought it was an alien spaceship. I was to scared and drivng about 100 miles an hour to ever look up. Maybe the military personal were spying inside my car thinking what a hot chick...lol.

It is sorta funny now but now knowing some of the military craft info now...it explains the event to a certain degree. The lights did leave my car and I never knew where they went, as of course I didn't look to see in fear I was going to have a wreck, just as the dudes operating the craft probally thought themselves and laid off of me.

It wasn't a month later that I was on a date and we both saw 3 triangle shapes with white glowing lights just sitting still in the sky in a circle pattern about 2 miles from where the red light stuff happened, same road acually. I know that were at at stand still because I compared them to the stars in the sky to see which way they were moving. I wanted to follow them. but they were not going anywhere. We just drove off on our way to eat.

I haven't seen anything else in my life, not that I have been looking for it! I have found myself here and there stare into the sky looking for something strange, but not enough I guess. I couldn't of been the only person to experience this crap. Now with the Stealth fighter unveiled, that expains that sighting also.

I went years thinking that I had experienced a true UFO sighting(s), I am relieved now that I know facts that explain them away. Unless a creature actually comes up to me, I will not be scared of these sightings anymore.

Being in a military state we all must understand that certain crafts have to exist and be tested in secret. I am not saying that aliens do not exist, but to go along with most scientists, to reach Earth would be a far reach! I do understand people's fears about the unknown, I suffered myself, for years!!!

I have no idea why these crafts were in our area of NC...about 3 hours from the coast, but guessing it was just for a test run....huh?

The even occurred North of Mt Calvary Rd on Old 85 on April 14, 1977. I left the library at UNC-Greensboro just about 10 pm to drive home to Thomasville, NC. I drove to Old 85 at Holden Road and headed south toward Thomasville. Immediately when I got on Old 85 I saw a bright orb in the sky far away to the south but along the path of the highway. The light was mesmerizing. I watched it intently as I drove the approximately 19 miles home. I did not even listen to the radio (unusual). I watched as the orb would disappear as I went down hills and reappear then I got up the hills. I assume it was just above the tree line. The orb grew brighter and larger. After passing the Jacob street overpass on old 85, approaching the Highway crossover at the Paradise Hotel. As I approached I could see the orb was a machine hovering the the air just about the treeline. I was shocked and pulled my car onto the crossover there on 85. When I pulled in there was a 18 wheeler parked there in the me! dian at the crossover. I parked my car and got out of my car all the while watching the machine. When I got out I saw the truck driver of the parked truck standing in the crossover. I stood next to him and closely observed the hovering machine. It was saucer shaped with windows around the edge of the saucer and lights below the windows. The lights were red blue green and they came on and went off making it look like they were going around the rim of the machine. The windows were backlit. As we both stared at it in it’s silence we had not spoken a word to each other. I broke the silence and said “ Do you see that too? Do you hear anything? What is it” the truck driver said I see it but don’t believe it. It’s making me feel crazy. I don’t hear anything”. We were both calm but amazed and stunned by what we were seeing and not hearing. I noticed the bottom of the machine was a smooth bowl shaped and was glowing an amber color. We both were just staring. Suddenly the silhouette! of a small big headed body walked to a window and seemed to l! ook down at us. I was shocked. The first thing I felt was fear. I don’t know why. I said, “What does it want?” and the truck driver said, I hope it’s not hungry.” We both panicked at the same time and ran to our vehicles and drove away in fear. I was uncanny how we both decided to leave suddenly at the same time. It did not seem like we stood there long but it took me an extra 45 mins. to get home that night. Lost time, I guess. The next night there was a huge multicar wreck at the very same place. I imagined the machine must have come back and caused the wreck. I have told only a few people about this because it sound crazy. My close encounter of the 3rd kind changed my life. I have no doubt about what I saw and I am convinced we are visited continually but extraterrestrials.

I did not record the date, I could not tell you if it was April or May, but I know that the year was 1971.

Traveling from Atlanta to Thomasville Georgia, I reached Hwy. 319 going into Thomasville around 7pm and I was only a few minutes from my destination with about an hour of daylight left. It was when I approached dirt road where I was to turn, that I noticed about 5 or 6 cars were pulled over to the side and there was a large beam of light coming from the sky. I made an attempt to identify where the light was coming from, but after a quick observation, I decided I really didn’t care because I was anxious to get to my family. I turned right onto the dirt road, which happened to be where all the cars were pulled over viewing the light. I proceeded down the road and I noticed within moments that the light was above me. I looked up through my windshield and this object was following me and was just above the tall pines. I began driving very fast and it kept pace with my ’69 Camaro. I finally made it to the construction site and pulled into the driveway with object stopping at the entrance. I quickly left my car and ran into the house.

There were about 11others there; being Friday all the contractors were still hanging around, especially since they were all cousins and uncles. I told everyone with much excitement they needed to see what followed me home! My dad looked out the window and immediately shouted, “Stay in the house.” We all stood still and watched as the object floated towards us and then lift up just as it reached the house, at which time my dad shouted, "“Get out of the house."

All eleven of us ran out the door at almost the same instant.

It was a saucer shaped object, silver with red and blue glowing lights that seem to illuminate from the portals on the top. It was approximately 50’ to 60’ in diameter. The exterior had a smooth finish; there were no signs of any joints in the metal, just a few indentions where maybe a door and the lights were. It was hovering about 20’ above us and bouncing from where our cars were parked to the house. At one time we were all afraid that it would land on top of the house, it came so close, but it would go up again and bounce over to the fields. We all watched this object quietly and no one moved. For an instance I wandered who was watching whom. The object no longer was showing the bright light that it had when it first began to follow me. At one time I thought of going to my car and getting my camera, but I did not want miss anything. It wasn’t long after this thought that the object began to travel farther in the field away from us. It began to go up higher, still not making a sound, and in a blink of an eye it traveled so fast that in just a second it was a tiny silver dot in the sky.

We all remained silent for a few moments; still in disbelief of what we had experience. The next day there were reports in the local newspaper about several unidentified flying objects around the Thomasville, GA area.

Saucer with red, green and white flashing lights over our horse pasture.

I was 10 years old when my mom called me out on the porch and asked me if i see what she is seeing. She was calling really loud.

There was a saucer shaped craft hovering over the back side of our horse pasture 100 yards from our porch and about 20 feet off of the ground. The horses ran back to the side of the pasture that the house was on.

It had red green and white flashing lights around the middle edge. You could clearly make out the saucer shape.

It sat there about 10 minutes then slowly lifted straight up over the tree tops and flew away but not at a high rate of speed. We could only hear a faint humming sound.

I know it has been a long time since I saw this when I was a child but I will never forget it.

My mom never wanted to say anything or let me because she thought people back then would think she was crazy.

Air intercept between UFO and BOMARC missle test firing from Elgin field in Florida. intercept occured over gulf of mexico in 1968 (classified)

Various activity took place during exercise and testing of the SAGE system of air defence command radar net. Direction center in Montgomery Alabama. Tracking was done by FPS-35 heavy ground radar system developed by Sperry Rand Corp. Sightings took place during three nights of testing of the southern access of USA airspace by incoming enemy missles. Bomark missles were used to test the radar net along southern perimeter of the United States. Radar facilities at Eufala Ala., Thomasville Ala. Crystal Springs Miss. Daulphin Island Al. Tyndal AFB Fla. 3 ufo's were tracked during actual missle firings over the gulf. One missle was destroyed in flight by unknown cause.(Trouble ahead for us.)

2 young men see strange barbell ufo in clear blue dauytime sky at low level.

while walking down short dirt road behind a schoolhouse nw thomasville the sky was clear and blue light wind we saw at apx 500 to 100 feet up at 45 degree angel a barbell shaped object and followed by a round ball object shiney netal no opening no sound no exhaust nothing mounted anywhere on objects no smell no lights did not drop anything level flight path going west to east slower than small prop plan barbell sige og 60s era jet ball about half that size we watched it go a short distance and when it got to a certain point in the sky it disappeared no flash no blink one second there the next nopt there ball did th same thing at the same point sky we were standing there talking about and with in a few mins ths sky filled up with us air force jets criss crossing the sky at diff levels apx 10 jets opne was a radar plane one jet flew same path as object hit same point in sky(we lined it up with small tree limbs) but it did not disappear the pilots had to see us on the ground. my friend was 19 not working i was 21 and with 20 20 vision working as ast manger of service station i would go on to get an fcc broadcasting lic ense speding 35 years in radio as newsman and program director. my friend and i are still friends to this day and wee had formed in 1966 the ufo bureau of ga(rtill going)to investigate research and collect all types of paranormal subjects but mostly ufos bigfoot ghost cattle mutilations and crop circles.end
