Seemed higher than an aircraft would be and faster traveling. As my cousin and I were watching it's progression it suddenly disappeared.

I was sitting in my car playing poker on my phone when the reception went out. I got out of the car to move the phone around and a glowing light caught my attention in the sky. When i first seen it it sent an overwhelming feeling through my body and it made me cry. I couldn't stop looking at it. Then it started to glow brighter than any star it the sky . Then it disappeared for 5 seconds and reappeared growing brighter each time. It started to scare me so i called my neighbor over just to make sure i wasn't crazy. And he said he never seen nothing like it.

I was driving east on Jack Warner Pkwy, between Manderson Landing and the freshman dorms of the Univeristy of Alabama. I looked up to the southeast and saw a large object hovering a few hundred feet up in the sky. It appeared to be over the North Lawn Hall area or Hackberry Lane on campus. It was white with silver trim. Too big to be a drone, no wings or exhaust visible. Bigger than a small plane. It wasn't exactly round, more of a fat, short teardrop shape. I looked back at the road for a few seconds and I thought "what the hell is that?". I looked back up and the object was still there in the same spot. I kept my eyes on it until I started passing trees that blocked my view and when I turned right on North Campus Way to be able to see it again, the object was gone. It was right after 12 noon. The sky was clear blue with no clouds. There was no trail left or disturbance. It was just gone.

I noticed a ball of light out of my window right above the tree line. It was glowing orange. I watched for a few minutes then the light seemed to be going farther away and turning into a small point of white light, it looked like a regular star.

After a few minutes the light would seem to come closer again and glow bright orange. This happened several times.

There was no sound coming from this object. The movement from this object was smooth, not jerky. It did move across the tree line slowly, but the moving in and out, far away, and then close was strange.

Disk hovered, no movement until it surrounded itself with a bright pink light.

After the disc emitted the pink light, the craft rose a short distance and stopped for several seconds. Then, the craft rose vertically, quickly, and disappeared.
This disk was round, silver colored, and did not change color or shape. It was located approximately a few hundred feet above ground. The clouds near the UFO reflected the pink color for approximately 30 seconds after the craft left. No visible openings or wings observed.

Light seen circling above Tuscaloosa's University of Alabama Quad

I was sitting in the grass in middle of the quad at the University of Alabama at about 1:30AM, enjoying the peacefulness.

A young man approached me and asked if I saw the object quickly circling above us in the sky.

After a a minute, I spotted a slightly translucent shape against the dark sky. I could not determine the color, though the other witness said it was green. It moved in a circular pattern at high speed. As far as we could tell, its height above the ground was slightly higher or equal to the height of Denny Chimes Tower, 115 feet.

After a few minutes, as I trained my eyes to follow the shape as it moved, I thought that it was bobbing up and down a little as it moved, much in the same way as a bird flaps its wings.

The other witness talked about recent social media reports at the Quad about sightings of Mothman, but I have not seen these reports. I speculated whether it was search lights to warn aircraft of their low altitudes, or water from the sprinklers refracting off the street lights in the clouds.

After several sprinklers turned off, the object was still there circling.

The other witness approached 2 girls to ask if they saw it, and they did.

We also asked a man passing by if he saw the object, bringing witness count to 5. He watched the rotations of the light as it circled, to figure out its speed and concluded it must a strobe light of some kind.

When this 5th witness left, we lost sight of the circling object.

I witnessed a very high altitude vehicle, best description a dart.

I was viewing the Moon when the craft passed between my vantage point, Moon was in the southwestern sky, the object was at approximately 70,000 feet moving southeast to northwest.

It had a clearly definable contrail behind it approximately 1000 feet in length.

The color was reflecting the setting sun and glistened.

It took the object less than 5 seconds to clear my vantage point.

This was not a commercial airliner and there are not many military vehicles that can fly at that altitude.

No sound.

I have seen an orange, slow-moving, smokeless fireball moving through the sky above the University of Alabama.

While in orchestra rehearsal, my friend and I noticed an abnormally slow moving fireball moving leisurely through the sky while looking out the window. It was orange and slow moving, with no smoke and a very short trail. It was much larger than any aircraft I have ever seen. It moved slowly from one corner of the window to another. I thought nothing of it, that it was possibly a meteor, until reading reports recently that describe exactly what I have seen.

I went outside to have a cigarette on my balcony (which faces east south east) and saw strange lights moving in a pattern which no airplane could. I counted at least 7 but there could've been as many as 12. The lights would come and go like fire-flys. It looked like bee's swarming around a nest. They were all moving at incredibly high speed doing loops and rolls, but not like an airplane could. All the turns were incredibly tight. It's been about thirty minutes and its still going on. I wish I had a camera.

Trapezoid shaped hovering craft with dark red flashing lights moved side to side directly above me.

This was my second sighting. I was smoking a cigarette listening to my Ipod in my driveway early one morning when i started to wave my hand over the light to create a slow strobe pattern. After a couple of minutes i took my headphones off and looked at the sky. I didn't hear or see anything come near me, but I looked up and saw a trapezoid shaped craft hovering silently about 75-100 feet above me. The outline of the craft was a flashing red line that was the shape of a trapezoid, two equal sides then the front of the craft was shorter than the bottom. It moved from side to side in a kind of sporadic movement, I was frozen stiff scared and stood there for about 20 seconds staring at it then cautiously waved at it, it then changed to a red and white light pattern and hovered away towards the moon behind my house.

Egg shaped flashing silent craft flew in front of the moon and 5 more over my house.

I was at a friend's house this past march and was leaving to my house which was a few blocks away. I walked outside and noticed a red, green, blue and white strobe like flash a few hundred feet off the ground to my left as soon as i walked into his driveway. I stood still afraid I was going to miss something as it flew in front of the moon where i saw what looked like an egg or almond shape with a solid thin line of exhaust that disappeared a couple hundred feet behind it. The top half of the craft appeared to be a light grid that flashed a spectrum of colors like I had never seen before. After it passed I ran and grabbed my friend, he saw it but it was too far away to tell what it was. I went home and saw 2 dim yellowish lights in the distance at about 4:15 A.M. I ran inside and grabbed my mother out of bed and over the course of about 15 mins 5 crafts flew over us. First 2, then 2 more, then 1 about 5 minutes apart from each other. The last one that passed over our driveway made a sound like I had never heard before, like a call or a signal. I believe it acknowledged that we were seeing it. It did the same call twice which sounded like a hawk's call mixed with a whistling bottle rocket, but it sounded digital. Like eeeyyyeeerrr eeeee. My mother and I still don't know what we saw but it would prove to be the first in a series of sightings that still continues. I contacted the local FBI office but I felt like I wasn't being taken seriously.

It was round, silent,illuminated pale white, and it moved, from where it wasn't suppose to be.

It was a typical mid-summer evening in West Central Alabama. The sky was crystal clear and full of stars. The temperature was in the mid seventies and the wind was calm. I live beyond the distraction of city lights and sounds and in the midst of near dead silence and a glorious view overhead,I swear I was a witness to the following; It was around 10:45 PM when I began preparing to retire for the evening. My wife and Miniature Dachshund had gone to bed about an hour before. My routine includes checking door locks,night lights,oven settings,candles,etc.This also includes a walk through our covered patio area out back where we often spend quiet time outdoors most summer evenings,weather and mosquitos permitting.We have a TV,a fan,candles and other items we enjoy out there just like any other room of our home.

As usual,I went out to secure the patio.I stepped out onto our uncovered,attached patio where I began to take a big stretch and yawn before heading back in to the bedroom.My stretching motion shifted my head backwards and up toward the sky and.....

there it was! In the sky directly above me,was a perfectly round,silent and still object slightly smaller than the full moons we have here,and not quite as bright,but similar in color.I knew from it's position in the sky however that it definately WAS NOT the moon!Our moon starts out in the eastern sky and moves east to west across the sky on the southern side of our house,regardless of the time of year,and is viewable ONLY from an area some fifty feet north of where I was standing! My eyes remained fixed on the object for about 10 seconds or less,at which time it very slowly moved off to the west/northwest,and faded away into the clear night sky.

It's distance away from me when I first saw it was impossible to judge.I can only base it's size on the only object similar to it,the moon.When it began to slowly move away,it moved a distance of about one and a half to two times it's own size before fading out of sight,never making a sound of any kind.And as usual,you could have heard the hum of a mosquito's wings that night.

I have waited this long to report my experience because I felt then,and still believe this was a sign from God,to let me know he has heard my prayers.

I am of sound mind.Alchohol,drugs or any mental shortcomings simply does not figure in to this event in any way.

But it was.....unidentifiable.

Am I the only one that saw this? Has anyone ever seen this before? I really would like to know.

Spring 2004 My husband and I are both night owls and enjoy walking our German Shepard around the block late at night when its nice and cool out. We've been in our home since Feb. 2003 and live in a small rural neighborhood on the outskirts of town. On the Night in question we had just returned to our yard after a leisurely walk around the block with our dog Trina. The sky was basically clear with only a few small clouds scattered here and there. We decided to play fetch with Trina in the field behind our house,(5 acres of flat treeless land). I'm a stargazer and am constantly looking for shooting stars when the heavens permit. Looking into the northeastern sky, I saw 3 points of light, in triangle form, moving at a steady pace high in the atmosphere traveling southeast. (I am not too sure on the direction of travel) I pointed the lights out to my husband, he suggested it was a plane. It may well have been but the lights were not blinking and there was no sound. Like I stated earlier, we live in a rural area and it is very quiet and dark, with the exception of the occasional car passing. We both watched the light formation for around 10 minutes. Without warning the lights vanished. I would like to say that it went behind a unseen cloud but the exact area it vanished at was spotted with stars and there were no clouds anywhere near. We continued to watch, thinking that if it indeed went behind a unseen cloud that surely it would reappear. 15 minutes later there was still no sign of the object. The object moved steadily and made no stops or turns. We were sober, as we both niether drink alcohol or use drugs. Although I have been a believer for many years my husband became one on that night.

I couldnt make out the color of the craft altought i believe it to be black. It was shaped like an ice cream cone and even had the circle on top. It wasnt very bright but it wasnt natural either.The other witness was the guy in it. I believe he was abducted.He seemed to have been steering the craft. I didnt actually see any of the creatures though i believe the human was under their control. The craft was making noise also. It sounded like an innnocent children's song. That was probly the scariest part. I tried to save the guy inside but it sped up and he yelled at me. He seemed to say "Your'e too old". I took it as an insult. The craft never left the ground surprisingly enough. After that i didnt see it again.

We saw a strange contrail and craft.

I was on my way to drop the kids of at Church when I saw something out of the corner of my eye. It looked like something falling out of the sky smoking. Nothing was visible.We never saw anything come out. It looked like a contrail after it fully appeared. I dropped them of and went back home I immediately told my husband to come out on the back porch to see if he could tell me what it was that I saw. He looked and he said it is a cloud , but it was not moving like the oter clouds. I told him that at first I thought it was a meteorite. We then decided it was some sort of contrail but there was no aircraft in sight. We continued to watch and he saw a nikel colored object fly out of it. I did'nt see it at first then I kept watching and I saw it fly back into it , then a few seconds later it shot back out and flew all around this contrail or what ever it was. Then it disappeared for a few minutes. We kept watching and it flew back out and disappeared . We never saw it again. I was scared by this . I don't know what it was, neither did my husband . It started out as some sort of weird contrail and then it became stationary, then this nikel colored object flew all around and in and out of it for about 15 minutes. Very weird. When this object was flying you could hear no sound or see any contrail coming out of it. I don't know what it was I have never seen anything like it. My husband is a floor covering installer and I own my own cleaning service. I can assure you we are not a couple of ufo nuts . Until now my husband has been a skeptic. I believe there is something going on with all these sightings, but I am not so sure it is from somewhere else, but what-ever it is I would feel safer knowing that our Government knew about it. But I also feel that as a tax paying citizen that I have a right to know what it is. Also about an hour after we saw this we heard jets flying, we looked out and they were headed in the same direction as to where we saw the "thing" for lack of a better word. I would not have thought that strange until they turned around and went back several times , like they were doing a grid search . A friend of mine had come over to visit and we were in my backyard with the dog.

As if compelled to, I looked up and my eyes focused on something moving. It was a partly cloudy day, but clear, not hazy or humid - blue skies dotted with white cumulus - we were looking SSE and it was traveling from east to west. I judged the altitude to be a couple thousand feet in the air and it was moving along the edge of a cloud, skirting it. It looked almost like a frisbee and it was silver. Maybe 3 seconds after focusing on it the craft seemed to turn 90 degrees onto its side where it took on a saucer or circular appearance. It then disappeared among the clouds it had been skirting. My friend and I looked at each other dumbfounded and quickly went inside.
