Saw bright light above mountain, was staying in one spot. Disappeared after 15-20 minutes

My mom and I walked outside of our house to my car and saw a bright light above Mount Helena. I took a video and it eventually disappeared after 15-20 minutes. It wasn’t moving up or down but it did look like it was maybe spinning.

There is a trail to that spot so possibly some kind of light that was carried up there.

Craft flew over the Lewis and Clark Valley in Montana

Came out of my house and looked up to a blue sky with spotting of white clouds. I saw this black cylinder like craft traveling at a beyond a high rate of speed - it seems like it was gliding; my sighting lasted less than 10 seconds and all of sudden the craft disappeared into the Blue Sky (Poof !)
Gone ! It was headed directly north from Helena. There were no contrails. I would compare this to released videos of objects flying that SMOOTH up in the air seen by pilots. Best way I could describe what I saw.

I have tracked Aircraft and Satellites before and this Craft seemed liked it was going 10x-100x faster than any aircraft etc. and VERY VERY SMOOTH.
I came back inside my house and shook my head - did I see what I saw ? ...and the answer is Yes - I saw this - but don't know what it was
But I know what it did and what it looked liked.

Fiery "ball" object seen way up in the distance - it hovered in one spot, then moved to the east maybe 1000 yards and paused again.

To the naked eye, and at 10x true optical zoom, the UFO was a fiery ball, way up in the night sky. It hovered South of Mount Helena, beyond the city of Helena, for about 30 seconds it stayed in place, then it gradually moved laterally to the east and stayed there for about another 30 seconds before vanishing. 6 people saw this. I took a photo at 10x zoom, and it still looks like a fiery sphere-shaped object, though when I zoomed in to 100x zoom, it appears to be more rectangular with a darker center (giving me the thought that this object is outputting a very strong coronal glow. After taking the last photo, the object disappeared 10 seconds later.

For the last week we have seen approx 10 crafts some flying 3 in a line all different separate crafts they will fly over then hover

My husband and I and our daughter like to star gaze at night for the past week we have been using a red pin point laser to show our daughter the stars we have encountered multiple crafts flying above our heads at close range some flying in a row of 3 to 4 different crafts all displaying white flashing lights some have red lights green and blue, the crafts will fly over hover above our heads then float in the air for a while then shoot up into the stars but stay where we can see the bright lights in a row of 3 to 4 lights going across, we have encountered red small lights passing over our heads some white some stop and hover then the crafts will come flying over yesterday there was a craft that flew through the trees with a huge white light almost blinding then it flew so close to us we could feel the heat off of it when it flew over our heads something black came off the bottom under side of it and slithered like away across the road it was the weirdest thing after the black liquid hit the ground it seemed to slither away then we seen it on top of the trailer across the street. we have seen many planes and helicopters pass over our house these crafts are a lot different they fly a lot closer then stop and observe then the lights turn red and they begin to fly up into the sky reaching extremely high heights. I have checked the satellites around us to see if there's any satellites and in fact there isn't, I have also called the air port and asked about possible airplanes flying closely over our house as we live close to the air port and they told me absolutely not their pilots wouldn't risk flying that close to residential homes as its too much of a risk. last night when I went out at 3am to let my dog to potty there was bright white lights surrounding our house and there was little glittery lights all around those Huge ones all moving all at multiple altitudes in the sky some of the lights would come really close to where I could feel heat and hear a sound almost like a generator starting up some of these shapes are circular some are V shaped some boomerang shaped all different shapes and sizes. with the increased amount of aircraft flying so closely to our home we are a bit concerned as it seems more and more are coming to let it be known that they are there also when these crafts come close to our home all of the street lights turn off and all of the lights on our house and the porch light. we have seen a bright green light almost like a fat laser beam point into out back yard multiple times. around these big white lights that are close there is a circle aura around them and almost like strings on the bottom of them they seem to let out lighter white circles and they shoot across the sky so fat its like a shooting star.

over the past week I have woken up with allot of bruises on my arms 3 on one arm and on the other arm there are 4 finger like bruises

my dog barks and gets scared anytime these objects come close to our home or us when we are outside.

I was driving home on euclid street going west and something caught my attention in the sky. 2 bright dots in the sky the top one kept disappearing and reappearing. I pulled over to get a better look. There was 2 u shaped fire like objects in the sky. One slightly to the right and higher than the other. Stationary in the sky. Once I had stopped and started videoing with my phone the top one did not disappear again, it was slide it was trying to get my attention. I videod for 1 minutes 45 seconds. I drove home to get my spouse and when I returned with him they were gone.

I saw the ISS then looked further west and noticed four lights, about the intensity of stars, moving from North to South trailing each other. There were at least four visible at one time, but as one disappeared to the south, another would appear and travel with the rest. There was a constant light, no noise or flashing navigation lights and I already spotted the ISS which went through the big dipper and traveled the opposite direct, so I am wondering what these were.

Black mass fell from atmosphere, black vertical stream followed.

At around 720 am I was driving, and saw a black mass trajecting into the atmosphere. It was not a jet stream as the stream was vertical. the object started higher in the atmosphere and the stream fanned out at the top, and as it fell closer to the ground from the atmosphere the stream grew smaller.

Couple sees bright flashing lights, beams, and obtrusive noise.

It was late night, and I was walking into my partner's room to lay down. Upon entering the room, she told me she had seen a bright light shining into the room and was abnormally concerned.

I turned to look out into the back yard, and within seconds, a bright light shifting from green, blue, white and then a small flash of red. It lasted between 1-3 seconds and was incredibly bright.

We threw open the window and tried to listen for any noise or to see anything. There was a low grumbling noise similar to rolling thunder, and within a few moments, another multicolored bright flash lit the sky and backyard.

This time, late in the flash a sharp, electric buzzing noise chimed in and gradually faded away along with the light.

Shocked, my partner ran to wake her siblings while I watched the window, and then met up with her father. Upon going outside to inspect the sky there were no more flashes, but after the incident, there remained a red tinted glow in the horizon! for an extended period of time.

Strange lights and colors along with rumbling/zapping sounds over a house in the rural valley.

I had a terrible anxious feeling while streaming Youtube, and suddenly turned it off .

Almost immediately afterwords, a light seemed to appear over the house, (where there are no lights, this is out in the rural valley). It was so bright that it completely flooded the room and had the color of a fluorescent bulb.

My partner came into the room, and we stood to look out the window together.

The light came and went along with green and blue lights and a small amount of red light.

We opened the window to see if we could hear anything, and there were rumbling sounds that were like distant thunder (but constant), and then a very loud zapping sound, as if from an electric wire snapping and what appeared to be flashes like sparks above the house.

Several more times the bright flashes of colors and white light appeared until we ran out of the room to wake up my family. By the time they came to look, there was no sign of any lights, any sounds whatsoever and the sky appeared to be a pink color. (this was at night)

We were initially worried a transformer exploded somewhere or that there was an attack or something. It was snowing at the time, but no reports of thunder/lighting or any grid issues in the area.

Ball lightning?

While sitting on my back porch last night, I observed what may have been ball lightning but I’m not sure. There were thunderstorms in the area with vivid lightning, but no active storms in the immediate area. It was 75 degrees F, humid with a light breeze and mostly cloudy.

Facing west at 8:32pm, seated and speaking on the phone, I observed a ball of light that was whitish-blue ascend diagonally about 20 degrees above the horizon. It appeared to level off slightly before changing to a pinkish-bluish-purple color as it arced back toward the ground to the point where my view was obstructed.

The event lasted 5 to 6 seconds. There were no sounds heard during the event or right after it occurred.

When the ball of light first appeared, it seemed to ascend, arcing toward the east/southeast. When it leveled off briefly, it seemed to travel toward the east. When the light descended, it appeared to arc toward the northeast. The brightness of the light seemed to get slightly brighter as it traveled, which makes me think it was moving closer to my position.

The ball of light looked like a roman candle type of light. No sparks were emitted from it like what happens as meteorites travel through the atmosphere.

For about a week, I thought a light on the hill was a light pole, until approx Aug. 15 I was looking at the hill side and it started blinking red green and blue as it started flying to the right and up slowly into the sky and disappeared.

Appeared to be saucer shaped and possibly a tripod with some sort of disguise to be be sitting stationary like a street lamp. Distance was approx 350 yards from where I was parked at my friend's house. He seen it when it looked like a light pole but not the flight. Happened to fast to get a picture.

Standing in my backyard and noticed a light floating around the sky. Captured video on a Galaxy s9 plus

This light was floating in the sky like a bubble, no sound no real direction. Funny thing was, when I started filming the light started to move away from my line-of-sight, and gave me the feeling is was consciously purposely trying to evade me. You will see the light at first is motionless, then it moved behind the tree, I had to run from my exterior back door to the end of the back yard propriety fence. Then it fades away.

I saw a single bright light in the sky for 5 seconds that I thought was a plane and then it just disappeared.

I was outside in my backyard at dusk and suddenly saw a single bright light in the sky. It appeared as though it was an airplane flying overhead toward me. The light was there for about 5 seconds and then it just disappeared. It was as if it went into a cloud, however it was a clear evening and there were no clouds in the sky. INCREDIBLE SIGHTING WITH IMAGES

These pictures were taken by my cousin about 2-3 weeks ago. I do not know the exact date or time, as I am just now getting the pictures from him and didn't ask those questions. They were taken near the Helena, AR, industrial harbor. They are the most incredible images that I have ever seen and I know that they are 100% authentic. My cousin can barely use a cell phone. They are real images period. You can see the object in motion and there is no way that it is lens flare. Just look at the telephone pole on the zoomed in photo. It looks illuminated to me. Even at a distance it retains the same visible characteristics. I believe that this phenomenon is occurring frequently here and is able to be captured and analyzed.

Wondering if anyone saw light in sky above Helena Montana on Sunday Dec. 11th 2016 approximately 5:45 pm? Walked outside to get some wood for stove and a bright light red or orange in color moving north over Mount Helena from the south, speed was slow like a helicopter but no noise, maybe about 1000ft in altitude. My neighbor was outside so I told him to look also and neither of us knew what it was.

I went inside and grabbed my binoculars and it appeared to be bright orange on the bottom, very bright through my binoculars with no flashing lights, just solid bright orange bottom. It began to move west then came back to the east, not circling but more in straight line. It seemed to hover in place for a brief period then moved east while gaining altitude. It seemed to climb at a very steep rate, but with not so much horizontal movement. Eventually it climbed altitude out of sight.

There are many national guard helicopters that fly over this area all the time and I am used to seeing them and understand the difference. It was not an airplane, as planes cannot go west then east on which seems to be almost identical course. A plane would have to circle, also small planes could not climb as steep as this seemed to do.

It was in the sky for around 5 minutes. It moved almost like you would expect a drone to move, but was much bigger.

I have not seen that shape and detail before now.

I was letting my dogs out and looked at the night sky. I saw a large triangular shaped object in the sky. It had lights that rotated, one close to the top (red) and several at the bottom, also rotating lights (red and blue. It appeared to have a large object circling around the body of the object. Next to it I saw a flash in the nearby cloud and another large craft showed up in the lightened cloud and it was a peach colored or yellowish pinkish orange.

I am an Army Veteran. I was in law enforcement in the military (trained observer) and I pay close attention when something is out of the ordinary.

I observed 2 large, circular, bright, white lights in the evening sky tonight, before any stars were shining.

I observed 2 large, circular, bright, white lights in the evening sky tonight, after sunset and before any stars were shining. I had been walking down the sidewalk for an hour, and was looking at the sky after I noticed some thin noctilucent clouds directly overhead. The two white, circular lights caught my attention where there were no clouds, about 20 degrees above the horizon. They were of equal size (I estimate 60 feet diameter) and equal brightness, about 3 fingers apart with my arm outstretched in front of my eyes. That is way too far apart from each other to be aircraft landing lights from a single aircraft, at what seemed like a distance of about 3 miles, South-East of downtown.

I watched the 2 lights closely for 4 seconds, and noted they seemed absolutely motionless.

Then, I looked down at my cell phone for 3 seconds, in order to start my camera application, and by the time I looked back up to take a photo, both lights had disappeared.

I continued walking home and watching that section of the sky for another half an hour, and they did not re-appear, neither did any stars. During that following half an hour, any approaching aircraft would have already arrived and landed at the city airport, which was on the other side of me from the lights, and I would have easily seen any aircraft landing lights approaching and heard aircraft engines, because they would have had to pass over me to get to the airport. Besides, aircraft do not approach the city airport from the South-East.

I am a U.S. Navy Veteran Seaman of Deck Department, a trained look-out watch, having spent 3 years at sea, and experienced at identifying stars, planets, satellites, aircraft lights, etc. There are never military fighter jets operating in this area, and only rarely are there lone military helicopters, and never flying in pairs. I believe these lights were from craft not of this world, to have totally vanished in 3 seconds, after shining brightly and directly towards me.

UFO OVER KING BISCUIT BLUES FESTIVAL 10-9-15

At approximately 9:00 Pm I was standing on stage at the king biscuit blues fest in Helena, at about to go play along with 4-5 other musicians and looking south at approximately 5,000 ft altitude was a large orange light that appeared to be on fire. The outer edges of the object had the appearance of a whipping flame. There were several people who captured it on video with their cell ph, but because I had to go on stage and play, I never found out who shot the video.

Idk how many people in the audience witnessed this, but it had to be into the hundreds as the audience consisted of about 1000 people. It looked sort of like a Chinese lantern except it couldn't have been because as I stated the edges of the object were like a whipping flame. It was simply incredible and I wish I would of had more time to study it.

If anyone reading this happened to get video of this please post the video to YouTube. It was so bizarre and there was a group of us that was completely mesmerized by this and looking at it none of us could explain what it was we were looking at.

UFO shot up from mountain, hovered west slowly, then shot west extremly fast, for several miles, then disappeared

My ex-girlfriend and I were traveling home to Texas from Denali National Park in Alaska. We decided to stop by Yellowstone National Park on the way back to Texas. We were traveling south bound on highway 15 and were between Wolf Creek and Helena, MT. The time was between 21:00 to 22:00, but don’t know the exact time.

We were in between some mountains, when I saw a circular light rise up from the mountains to my left. I lost sight of it because of the mountains, and I thought that was strange, and we traveled a bit more southward towards Helena, MT, and the city lights were in view now. Then I again saw the circular light moving westward slowly and always at the same altitude. The light moved past the city slowly and initially I thought it was some kind of special helicopter or plane. But then it accelerated very, very quickly, and made a loud whip crack like noise like a sonic boom, and some sort of smoke ring or vapor ring was formed were it had been. The noise was very loud cause I heard it in my car several miles away traveling southbound on 15. So finally, when it shot westward extremely fast, it traveled for several miles, and the light then disappeared. This was all at the same altitude.

I waited to report this because I did not know who to report it to, and I also did not want to be labeled as making something up or fabricating a hoax. I know what I saw and that is what I saw, and have no reason to lie. I’m US Army retired, and don’t want any kind of negative attention like that, but I wanted to report this and maybe collaborate any other reports given for this date and time. Thanks again

On 9/11/15 at approximately 9:00 pm mst, Helena, MT (near historic downtown) I was in my yard with my girlfriend and we were looking at the stars looking for the fall/winter constellations when a completely silent triangular object with three dull amber circular lights appearing to be approximately 1 ½ to 2 times size of a full moon.

The object darted across the sky at an inexplicably high rate of speed in a southeasterly direction then vanished.

4 or 5 Amber orbs, 20 seconds apart approach Helena MT from the south then turn east over the capitol building.

My son came in and said there was a amber orb in the sky. We went to the porch facing east. He pointed toward the Capitol building and said it was right there but we saw nothing.

Then out of the south, another orb moving north towards us. Over the capitol it changed direction and headed east. No sound, just a sphere of amber-orange light.

About 20 seconds later another orb flying along the same flight path as the first ones. We saw 4 in about 2 minutes.

There was a thin low cloud bank to the east and as they past behind it you could still see the light but faded. It was otherwise a clear sky, well lit, with no wind.

I can estimate their speed at 200 to 400 MPH. I can estimate their altitude at around 2500 FT. They appeared to be climbing.

All 4 or 5 seemed to follow each other's flight path and speed. Flying N-NE in a straight line over the south hills, then turning east as they were about over the capitol building.

Bright object flashing white, gold, green and red lights seen over Helena, MT.

Object was very bright flashing white, gold, green and red lights. Sometimes it seemed like the the object was spinning because the lights would rotate and flash. It was a clear night and object was brighter than stars in the sky. Slow moving east to west high over valley north of the city. Object moved erratically: bobbed up/down, back and forth. I observed the object with binoculars. There were stars out but they were very dim. This object was bright and flashing. Twice it seemed like there were aircraft circling the object since it was getting near the Helena Regional Airport. Since this observation I have seen it two more nights 9/30 and 10/1. On 10/1, I contacted a friend north of town in the valley and she independently observed the object. Since there were clouds, the object seemed to be obscured and observation time was only 30-40 minutes.

Flashes of light going in every direction. At first it went from right to left and sort of bounced around just flashing everywhere. Red, Green, and Diamond colors spinning around, out of control like.

About 7 minutes later it was back in the same area.

After doing its sparkling dance, it turned into a laser show and had made designs, being just as bright as before.

Green orb falls out of sky.

I was out on the porch having a cigarette, looking to the east. A very large green orb fell out of the sky, nearly straight downward, at an alarming rate of speed. From my vantage point, it appeared to fall all the way to the ground. I heard no sound. I looked at the clock inside and immediately noted the time, 2:11 am.

I considered the possibility that this might have been a meteor, however, this orb appeared much larger than any meteor I've seen before and it did not leave a fire or smoke trail like many of the larger meteors I've seen.

About 1 minute before I witnessed the falling green orb, there had been an airplane flying directly overhead from west to east. It appeared to be an airliner flying at cruising altitude with all the standard flashing nav lights.

After the sighting of the green orb, I noticed the plane was no longer anywhere in sight, which I found peculiar because at the speed it was traveling it could not have made it all the way out of my sight within that short time period. There was no cloud cover.

Single light appearing before dusk appears to be multiple objects before disappearing

This evening my wife and I were with our 20 month old daughter in our backyard so my daughter could play in her baby pool. I looked up to see any aircraft visable as we are about 100 miles west of ATL and we usually have good air traffic overhead.

I noticed a light that would be similar to the brightness of Venus directly overhead, but at about 85 degrees, slightly to the west. I asked my wife if she could see it and she said that she did. No other lights were visable in the sky and 30 minutes later in the same spot where we witnessed this, there are still no other lights in the sky, including and stars or planets.

The light was stationary as far as we could tell. At one point I picked up my daughter and leaned her back and asked her if she could see it. She pointed to the light.

After 10 minutes, the sun had set over the horizon or behind clouds to the northwest. The light was no longer there but my wife said that she could still see it. I could not but as I tried, two aircraft in the area allowed my eyes to focus back on the object.

At that moment my wife said that there were now 3 objects. I noticed that the main object appeared doughnut shaped and the other two appeared as smaller dots. To me it looked like one of the dots shot out of the larger doughnut.

After only about a minute of looking at this strange cluster of objects, they disappeared. These objects were far higher than the altitude of the commercial airplane traffic that was in the area.

The weather conditions at the time were 85 degrees F, humidity 59 percent, wind south at 1 MPH with a visibility of ten miles. The sky was and still is partly cloudy with showers off to our northwest about 20 miles away.

One last detail... For some reason last night, I was out after dusk and had an uncommon urge to look up at the sky as if I was looking for something out of the ordinary.

I don't look for strange things but last night I just felt the need to and then tonight we saw something strange. Interesting.

Green ball of light falling outta the sky in HELENA, MT.

I was smoking my first morning cigarette outside on the patio at about 5:50am this morning. Heard a very loud sound that was similar to thunder, checked the sky, it couldn't be thunder. Decided it had to be a reallllly loud truck in the distance. But wait- there are no trucks around here. About a minute or less after I heard the loud sound in the sky, saw a bright falling thing that at first, I thought was a star I could make a wish on, then when I saw it was green I thought it was a plane going down. It got bigger and at the end of the three seconds looked like a big bright green (like the go light on a stoplight, but a little bigger) ball of light falling from the sky. It disappeared as soon as it hit the fog layer. (I live way up high above the fog)

We were driving I-90 W at about 11:11 pm.

Witness # one's perspective: a white light approximately 6,000 ft appeared stationary Then accelerated to speeds that were unexplainable and disappeared. Upon acceration the light turned to two green lights on an oval shape craft.

Witness #2: An oval shaped craft with green lights appeared to plummet spinning towards the ground at an alarming rate of speed. At first it was thought to be an airplane that was going down but then it picked up to such speeds it was unimaginable and disappeared in the the night sky.

Spotted a large bright green orb to the west of Helena. The object was within the atmosphere, and disappeared near the continental divide.

Object was stationary, and accelerated to an unimaginable speed. The abrupt movement was not natural. The object either vanished, or disappeared over the horizon.

Both witnesses instantly got goosebumps, turned to each other, and confirmed that they saw the same thing.

It's hard to imagine that this was man made or a governmental experiment. The sudden movement and acceleration defies we would even consider to be physically possible.

Appear to see two white drones while a radar "blob" phenomenon occurs near Redstone

Early this evening, I was watering plants in my backyard. As a big fan of aircraft, I tend to check for traffic in the sky. At 17:35, I looked up and noticed two white craft, one behind the other and slightly to the starboard side of the leading craft. At first glance the two craft looked military. Then I noticed how they looked more rounded at the nose which then made me think that they were drones. This made a lot of sense because the two craft were moving fast relative their altitude. If they were at a higher elevation then their airspeed would have been pushing supersonic and there were no subsequent sonic booms. I estimate that these two craft were around 1000 - 1200 feet. They were traveling from north to south near the I-65 corridor. The sky was mostly clear, warm, humid, around 85 degrees with a light SE wind. The two crafts were out of view in under fifteen seconds. I made a point to try to listen to the noise produced by these craft. Am! idst some background traffic and neighborhood noise, I could hear a slight whine that would seem to be associated with a turboprop engine, but much quieter. The event ended and I thought that I had witnessed my first domestic drone flights- nothing more.

Only until a few minutes ago did I think that I "only saw two drones". Media outlets in Huntsville, AL are now reporting a mysterious radar "blob" echo that appeared on multiple radar products over the Huntsville area this afternoon, exactly over the northwest corner of Redstone Arsenal. Maybe these were simply drones returning to Eglin AFB after an exercise in cloaking. IT IS PART OF ORIONS BELT. THE RIGHT(3RD) STAR. I NOTICED IT AS I LOOKED UP (BECAUSE) OF ITS UNUSUAL SHARP BRILLIANCE. I GAZED UPON IT FOR NO MORE THAN 5 SECONDS WHEN IT.....JUST..BEGAN MOVING STEADILY NORTH FOR @ 10-12 SECONDS AND THEN DIMMED OUT REDDISH AND...LOOKED AS THOUGH IT WENT LIKE UP, OUT OF OUR ATMOSPHERE....UNLIKE HOW A PLANE OR SATELLITE WOULD FOLLOW THE SKY/ HORIZON.. IT LOOKED LIKE IT WENT AT AN ANGLE OF APPARENT HIGHER DESCENT AS IT STOPPED AND WAS GONE FROM VIEW..

Orange ball in the night sky

At 2100 on December 25, 2011, looking to the east my boyfriend and I saw an orange ball of light moving north across the sky. The object started moving straight across the sky and then appeared to move directly upward. The orange light started to blink and quickly dimmed to look like just a star in the night sky. A few seconds later the object disappeared completely. There were not any blinking lights on the object and there did not appear to be any aircraft in the area.

Driving to work and on the highway looked over at the Mount Helena by Kessler school and there was a blue oval moving up above the mountain. Noticed the street lights were all out on the highway as well which I have never seen. It was light blue and slowing moveing then after a few mintues just dispeared.

The object appeared lower in the sky then normal jets that fly though all the time. There was no sound as with a normal jet. The object covered the distance from the prison that is ½ block from on the north east side my house, to past the rail road tracks which is ½ block south east of my house in approximately 3 seconds, my property covers one entire city block.

The object was in the shape of a triangle, with lights on all three sides. The lights did not appear to strobe, as would an airplane, and they did not seem to be just at the three points of the triangle, but rather all along the three sides. The object had a strange appearance to it, if you saw the movie Predator with Arnold Schwarzenegger, the object seemed to have the same shimmer as the alien did in the movie. The object appeared to travel in a straight line, not moving around or at different speeds. There is an US Air Force Base 30 some odd miles south west of my home, Vance Air Force Base.

Me and my Buddies were celebrating cinco de mayo, and we were outside talking and sometimes we would play basketball. Well we were taking a brake from a game of basketball I looked up at the stars and i saw like a disc shape craft that hovered in the air. It did not make any nosie, I stayed there for about a minute. While this is going on i told my buddies to look up and they saw it too. One of my friends ran inside to grab a camera. The rest of us just was amused by the bright lights of the craft. The craft also was spinning in place. Then the craft took off as it was shot out of a rocket. It left out of sight. My buudy came out with the camera and asked where it went, and we told him that it left.

Low flying triangular shaped object quickly moving across the sky

Three amber colored lights in the shape of a triangle were seen flying low above Helena. The object moved in a southeasterly direction.

After six seconds of viewing, the lights moved flawlessly into a straight line while maintaining an equal distance between the other. Within 10-15 seconds the lights were out of view. No sounds were heard as the object moved across the sky, which at the time appeared to be less than 10,000 feet above the ground (estimation).

Phenomenal event-one I will not soon forget!

There was a shimmering light of many colors, moving in a random pattern, lying low on the western horizon near Helena, MT.

Upon looking up at the zenith at roughly 10:30PM on October 8, 2004, I bore witness to a glistening light of manifold colors on the lower edge of the western horizon. At first my logical conclusion was that this phenomenon was merely an air plane or a sattelite, however, after a prolonged staredown I realized that this phosphoresent blob in the night's sky was moving at an irregular and unpredictable pattern. The star-like figure would remain static, flickering with coloration and then would suddenly--not to mention erratically--begin to whimsically gyrate in no measurable pattern. These movements took on many directions--spiral, circular, up-and-down, and horizontal--in a random fashion. After approximately 25-30 minutes of viewing this abnormal astral occurrance the intensity of the light emanating from the object began to taper off, and eventually the phenomenon departed entirely over the westward horizon.

Two adults witness boomerang-shaped object during a strange sequence of events

My wife and I were headed home after eating dinner at our friends' home. There are two ways to go home, the short way and the long way. The long way is only about three minutes longer, but 99 percent of the time, we take the short way. My wife was driving and for some reason when we came to the point where we could chose between the short and long way, I told her, "take a left, let's go the back(long) way home." Right before we took that left turn, I noticed a small single-engine plane flying S/SE at around 500 to 700 feet. I could easily see its red and green lights. Bessemer Municipal Airport is about six miles NW of this location. This airplane looked like it may have departed from Bessemer due to its altitude.

We continued to drive the long way home and I thought to myself, "why did I tell her to go this way?" and "I hope she didn't mind me telling her to go this way." We turned right at Highway 58, going west in Helena when I clearly noticed this big object in the sky with three white lights, the center light being the brightest of the three. I could see the grayish outline of a boomerang shape, with the bright light in the center and the left and right white lights on the edges of the "wings" of the object. For some reason I nonchalantly pointed to it and said, "see, things like that." I don't know why I said that. We had not been talking about seeing strange things. It was like the whole reason why we went the long way home was to see this thing.

When she saw what I was seeing, she stopped the car and asked, "what is that?" and "it's not moving." It wasn't moving. It looked like it was stationary in the sky. The object was about 35 degrees, NW of our location at a range of about 1 mile and an altitude of anywhere from 1000 to 5000 feet depending on the size of this thing. It was "pointed" in the direction of SE and none of the lights were blinking. The pure-white aspects of the lights on this thing really stand out in my memory of seeing it. The center light was as bright as Venus is currently in the evening, and I recall seeing this object and Venus at the same time, with Venus to the left and higher up in the sky, maybe five degrees away. At an arm's length, the boomerang-shaped object was about 1-1/2 inches wide and 1/4 inch tall.

A car was coming up behind us so we had to start moving down the road. As we did, I kept my eye fixed on the object. Intermittently, trees would pass and block the view that I had of the object, but it was still there. We came to Highway 17 and instead of turning left to go home, my wife turned right to get a better view of this object. My view was blocked by a gas station and the bright flourescent lights of the outside of the gas station. When my view was clear again, the object was gone. We continued to drive north on this road. Oddly enough, there was a vehicle off the road and in the ditch on the side of the road with its headlights on, but we didn't see anyone in it. This distracted us briefly, but it didn't seem to be a serious accident. We continued to drive and we saw what appeared to be the object again, but now it was way to the north, about 5-7 miles away, much higher in the sky and what appeared to be headed to the north. It was now moving away from us quickly and we soon lost sight of it over the northern horizon(toward Birmingham).

We drove through a subdivision on our way back home, driving slowly to see if we could notice the object once more, but we never saw it again. We circled around by the forementioned gas station and saw where a police cruiser was arriving on the scene where the vehicle was in the ditch. We made it home about 90 seconds later where we discussed what we just saw.

These questions remain: What did we see? How did it move so far away, changing directions and altitude so quickly? What made us go home that way? Why did I say what I said when I saw the object? Did the driver of the vehicle in the ditch see this thing, thus distracting the driver to cause the accident? I guess we will never know that. Maybe I am over-thinking this whole thing, but my wife and I know that we saw a large boomerang thing with three lights floating stationary over Helena, AL for at least 10 seconds that night.

Weather at the time: skies were clear, the air temperature was in the 50's(F) and there was a light northerly breeze.

appx. 50' triangular, lighted craft hovering @ 100', then moving away proportionately as I approached.

As I drove toward town from the East, I noticed from about a mile away that there was a bright amorphous, stationary light, or possibly closely clustered lights, that seemed to exist in an area where there is nothing more than the intersection of a couple dirt roads, and a normally well-traveled highway. Though it was near the airport, it was too far North to be a tower, etc. As I approached the intersection, I began to realize that this was absolutely an aircraft of some kind, hovering at appx. 100 feet. Being an Air Force veteran, I instinctively turned down my radio, rolled down my window, and put my ear to the wind in order to detect (or not) audibly the sort of power plant that could be lifting this immense craft. There was nothing but the sound of my slowing engine, as I eventually found myself completely bewildered, and at a dead stop ion the highway, head craning out the window. There were three distinct points, each with its own circular, whitish light; no windows, etc. My first thought was something like, "Whatever the hell this is, why would it choose to hover idly right here. Then, I slowly turned back East onto White's road in order to observe it more closely. As I gazed up at the craft, innumerrable possibilities flashed in and out of my mind, each being dismissed as an impossibility for any number of (known) scientific and avionic detractions, and as this went on, I started to become a bit anxious (again w/regard to any fathomable agenda the craft's occupants/operators could possibly have), and so I let out the clutch and began rolling forward. As I did, to my utter astonishment, it began moving in the same direction, at the same rate of travel, as I. Anxious to somehow verify what I was seeing, I realized that not one other vehicle was even in sight for about the last three minutes- unusual at the time. Anyway, desiring to hasten fate, I hit the gas and noted that the craft was keeping perfect distance and rate of acceleration to me. Confused, and somewhat frustrated with my inability to conventionally rationalize, or at least share the experience with even another motorist, I began yelling and giving the SUV everything it had. Almost as if it (they?) had sensed my increasingly negative emotional state, it suddenly broke pace w/ me (@maybe 70 MPH), and began to arc upward and to the West, as its speed increased at an eye-popping rate, and then it went lights out. I hammered the brake, skidding to a stop just in time for the first oncoming vehicle to see nothing more than a cloud of dust around my truck. This was one, though not the first of 4 or 5 events of similar magnitude and inexplicability. Another time, on another well traveled dirt road further East in the valley, I viewed a seemingly identical craft hovering over a house at appx. 40 feet. I left before it did.

in august 2001 my entire family saw two formations of saucer-like objects form & unform over about 30-40 minutes

it was just prior to sunset in august, last year. My son and his s.o. were taking me with them to my ex-wife's home. we were west bound on Euclid Ave. I saw what I thought was a metior; a bright orange trail of light crossing diagonally from high in the north to low in the south above the mountanous horizon. I pointed it out to my son and his girl. As we watched it came to a halt, from nearly, if not, mach speed to hovering. it appeared to be to the right of a mountain, thogh I am sure it was much farther west and highert (perhaps over the Pacific). Other saucer shaped objects came from other directions at a much slower speed. We got to my ex's, got her, my other two sons and daughter, went to a parking lot where the view was unobstructed, and we all watched as somehere around a dozen similar objects formed into a diamond formation, hovering. at times one or two would leave the formation for short durations then rerturn.

another similar formation took shape appearing to the left of the mountain, and some of those objects left and returned from time to time. We were all fascinated by this sight. i commented that i hoped they weren't cowboy aliens here to round up human cattle for their tables, or aliens that figured they'd best eliminate this warlike speices from the universe before we become a danger to them.

then both formations broke off into various directions. I didn't call the radio station as i was somewhat intoxicated. none of the others were intoxicated. thogh it's been a about a year this event is still indellibly etched in my memory. i would even suspect myself of toxic halucination if it hadn't been seen by the entire family.

Two lights as bright as meteors moving north & east respectively almost collide, swerve and change direction dramatically.

At about 12:30 am two witnesses stepped out onto the lawn to discuss Mars and Antares. As they were looking at Mars in the southern sky, a bright light moving north from out of the south caught their attention. The object grew brighter in intensity and at first seemed as if it must be a meteor, but highly unusual as the brightness seemed almost too much to look at directly. It quickly grew to be twice as bright as venus, and then faded again. The still visibly bright light was suddenly joined by another bright light catching up to it as it moved north -- the two objects seemed to interact with each other. The two objects seemed about to collide with each other, then suddenly "swerved" or danced around each other, and then both lights zipped off in opposite directions, one to the east and one to the west. In the witnesses' opinions the objects could not have been weather baloons or satellites.

Eight adults witness fast-moving bright object fly across the sky

Our neighbor, a sherriff's deputy, was showing my two year-old niece his police cruiser (lights, siren, etc.). I glanced up to see a large bright white light moving very fast. The brightness was much greater than an Iridium flare or the ISS at a very high intrinsic brightness. The speed of this object was so much greater than any conventional aircraft or orbiting satellite. I said, "look up! look up!", and everyone did to see the object continue in a straight line completely over the horizon. The object travelled from NW to ESE, and was visible for about 10 seconds. When the object was directly overhead near 90 degree azimuth, it changed into a phosphorus-like green color, and amber "sparks" appeared to emit from the object, along with a slight, short-lived vapor trail. The object maintained its incredible speed and straight direction. The object never broke apart, no sounds were heard, so subsequent sonic boom. The object should have been visible over east-central Alabama and west-central Georgia as it continued its course. The eight adults who were present discussed the object for a while. We decided that if the object were a meteor, then it would have disintegrated to some degree while visible to us. Other logical explanations include the re-entry of a decaying satellite, booster rocket or some large mass of space junk coming back into our atmosphere. Weather conditions at the time: 72 degrees F, humidity 72 percent, dewpoint 68 degrees, wind calm, visibility 10 miles, skies were clear.

I didn't believe in UFO abduction until it happened to me.

I woke up six months after I had participated in finding a downed plane in the Angela, Montana area. What was unusual about that event is that I established a grid pattern outside of the FAA grid pattern and the people who came with me to search in the Angela area found the plane only hours after we started that day. The FAA led search had been fruitless until that seventh day when people were finally willing to listen to me. I am a sensitive and was led to the area the plane was found by the dead pilot.

Six months later, I am floating in the air with this white R2D2 type unit shining in my bedroom under some sort of white beam of light. I realize I am paralyzed. These probe type things snake out and attach to my head. I cannot speak. My husband is dead asleep. I can only scream telepathically, "In Jesus name, you will let me go! I command you to let me go ..." Hey, it had worked on what I perceived to be ghouls before.

The white unit said, "Sleep. You will sleep..." in this hypnotic voice. I told him to go to hell. I was wide awake and we went back and forth while I commanded the thing in the name of the Eloihim and all angels to let me go. I seemed to be floating above my bed almost to the ceiling with seven things that were making this weird hum noise attached to my head. This goes on for some time and the mechanical voice keeps saying, "Sleep ..." Suddenly, a new voice starts to speak to the angry and freaked out me who is eloquently telepathically telling this robot thing off, and it is a non-robotic, female voice. She calms me down. I ask her why they are doing this to me. She says, "We have heard about what you did in Jordan (the town larger than Angela) and we have come to see why you can operate on such a high frequency with your mind." I get very calm. I end up losing time. I don't know anything for a time with this humming noise taking over in my brain. She informs me they are done. I ask her what they found. She replies, "You are ... a secret weapon." I am a pacifist and am very disappointed by this conclusion.

I find myself tucked back into my bed and my husband still won't wake up. I am freaking, but I go back to sleep, still feeling paralyzed. I wake up, record the 'dream'. What is so strange about this is I don't believe in UFOs at all at this time. I have a first cousin who claims she was abducted on Lolo Pass and I have always thought her a nut. I talk to my husband only about this for years because I am confused to the core over 'the dream'.

As a sensitive, I talk to dead people. Unfortunately, the ETs are making my life too complicated. They put things into my dreams and I don't like it. I feel like I'm in some Star Trek episode some nights. There are definitely a variety of them. They seem to be extra dimensional. I prefer a world view that includes my dead mother talking to me or a dead actor telling me he was murdered over these others who are coming through star gates or portals, Even the little demon type beings are easier for me. I'm scared of being abducted again. I'm not afraid of no ghosts.

Saucer shaped object hovering on ridge between two mountain peaks..about 300 yds out.

I don't recall the exact date,I believe around Feb.1979 outside of Helena,Montana..around 9:30am My boss had sent a co-worker and I to Welch's Truck Stop in Garrison, Montana to pick up a dump truck and drive it back to Helena.

We started out around 9:10 and headed west on Hwy.12 towards Garrison,as you drive west on the outskirts of town,Hwy 12 narrows from a 4 lane to a 2 lane road and enters a narrow canyon.

I was looking out the passenger window as we drove along the hwy..Just after we passed the Blue Cloud Ranch,I looked out I saw a saucer shaped object hovering between to mountain peaks..about 300 yds out and 250ft elevation.

I glanced at it and then did a double take as I realized what I was seeing.

I yelled "What the hell is that?"and when I did the driver looked over and caught a glimpse of the object.

We turned around at Colorado Gulch Rd. and headed back to get another look.

Just as we turned around and headed back,we saw the object slowly descend behind a peak and out of our view...it descended at about a 45 degree angle.

We stopped along the road,amazed at what we saw...We then turned around and headed back towards Garrison.

When we returned back to Helena,we told my boss and our co-workers what we saw..

Everybody kinda chuckled and we went about our business.

I had made of drawing of the object with time and date on a piece of paper and kept it,but have now since lost it.

The object was saucer shaped,the skin looked like shiney aircraft aluminum, it had a red stripe across the mid section,and when it descended,we observed what looked to be a tail fin.

I thought about reporting it at the time but i didn't,also I thought about asking the residents in the area if they had seen anything unusual..but I never followed up on it.

A note of interest,The land behind where we saw this object is a military reservation..Fort William Henry Harrison, birth place of the special forces.. Green berets,Rangers etc. They have annual mountain warfare training there in the summer and winter.
