It flew straight across the sky, then very quickly backwards, then shot straight forward past viewpoint while morphing in shape.

The sky was very clear, allowing me to see. Suddenly, a dark grey object came into view. The crickets stopped chirping. From my perspective, it appeared to be very large. There were small, blue blinking lights, perhaps four or five. The aircraft shot straight forward, then slowly backed up once it was directly above me, and very quickly flew forward once more, faster than any plane I have ever seen. There was only one object. As it flew, it seemed to be changing shape. No specific shapes in particular, just like fluid. It did not swerve or sway, it flew straight. As it flew, I heard a quiet “zip” noise, as if it it was tearing through the air.

It looked like a huge battle ship over a dozen long gun like wings it was transparent to the eye.

The flying object looked almost pixilated. You could see through it as it hid in the clouds early flying above and across I65. It looked at first glance like a mass of crows in a formation. But as it came in my field of vision, I could see it was one uniform object. It resembled a tree branch flying. But these were the wings of this craft. They were bent in various directions similar to crafts in STAR TREK. ABOUT a dozen very long arms extending from two cylinder like centers. It was moving noiselessly, fast, and purposeful. It seemed to be preparing to land as it crossed the field. I was awe struck. I immediately called my husband. This craft was not from Earth.

It was circle and was the whitest light and bright. Even atsuch a distance it was the size of a beach ball and so bright.

It was the size of a beach ball eventhought the distance was so far. I mean I was in a straightway and from there you can see the sky for so far ina 360 radius. It came from the Alabaster side going toward Jemison and was at a speed that is not possible without a sonic boom then suddenly before going out of sight just dead stopped and Boom just like that shot straight up and was gone in a blink of an eye.

Red yellow orb travels erratically

I saw a red and yellow orb coming from the NE and heading towards the S.W. when I first saw it it was the size of the cherry on my cigarette and I had to run inside and grab my phone and my fiancé when I came back out side in 5-10 seconds it was already super far and started changing speed and moving like nothing I had ever seen . E- W then back N-S it went behind a cloud that you could see the stars though and never came back out .. it was really strange

Orange glowing fireball over central Alabama.

Was outside when over the horizon appeared an orange glowing object that looked to be on fire. Moved incredibly fast over the sky. It looked triangular in shape at first. Made absolutely no sound. Looked to be climbing higher and higher before flickering out in the sky.

Called my wife out to see. After some research, I don't think this is a chinese sky lantern, which was my first thought. The speed of the object was incredible. Eerily consistent with the recent reports on your website.

I have no experience in aircraft or any military experience but I have traveled tens of thousands of miles across the country and have not seen anything remotely like this.

After doing some quick research it seems a lot of these reports come around July 4th. Not just this year, but in every year before this. Again, very strange!

Orange/red sphere with blue or green outline or ring. Moved very slowly to the west, then disappeared.

At first glance. It had the features of a planet that was close enough to earth that the color was noticeable with the eye. That's what got my attention. It appeared stationary. The orange/red color was very noticeable.

When I obtained and returned with binoculars, I notice the seconded color of blue or green. I thought I was seeing the planet Saturn or Jupiter. I stopped looking for 1-2 minutes, then came back and took another look and saw that it was no longer at its original location.

I looked farther west and picked it back up again, only smaller and harder to see. It faded out before the horizon,not past the horizon. Object was moving almost due west from the east.

Group of youth on hike see the"un-explained."

Group of youth(male) were hiking at approximate time indicated.I here-by have only mentioned this to a couple of friends whom I trust with such credible info.I am an licensed pilot(but not back then since I was 14.)To this day I,as an person with such knowledge of air-craft of many types know that all air-craft DO NOT have lights other than red,green,or white.Any deviation from this color would possibly warrant an investigation by the authorities.The lenght of said "hike" was of between 3/4 and a mile going to the destination,and back,thus causing a "hike" of travel about 2 miles.The"leader"and others at first felt what we all interpreted "warm" and "cool" changes in the temperature.The said night was clear and the moon was not out.Ironically one of the group members made the statement along the lines of wondering if "some-thing" was out there,refering to the sky,I personally told him,not to think like that because no one would be able to explain the unknown.In about 2-3 minutes some-one (M.L.) just shouted hey look at that,all of us at the same time turned around to see what appeared to be a circle or oval with lights sequenced around the perimeter of the craft,stationary at what I believe to be between 1000 to 1500 feet above the ground and two to three miles away,no other explaination has been given to satisfy my curiosity and wonderment.No sound was even heard from the craft nor were there any types of protrusions(landing gear if you will) or windows could be seen.We then headed back to camp an told the leader of this event,later I asked a friend of mine to verify this info.,no explaination was given,nor can it be now.

I apologize for the "error." I was with the boy scouts then troop, ((troop number deleted)), back in the said years for '73 and '74. I researched to the best of my ability the year of my "visit" and have concluded that it was 1974. This also was the year I was in seventh grade elementary school. I also saw only one "en-counter". I truly hope to see more,the reason is the Creator can certainly Create more than just man. Just look in the heavens and any-one with an open mind would be able to see this.I wish you luck on your"NUFORC's" endeavors and also would be interested in becoming an investigator,if possible. I have a very "keen or sharp" mind and also a more personal obligation to my-self,and fellow-man. Thank-you for your time, ((name deleted))

Group to see the "un-explained"in the night sky.

The group that I was with had set out on a " mid-night" hike.The approximate length of this hike was one and one-halve miles.The location and the terraine as well as I can remember was slightly hilly and no hills were over 300 ft in height from a standing on ground prespective,with trees."Waves" of warm and cool air also were recognized.I have not mentioned this episode in my life,with the exception of a few trusted close friends.The object appeared to have had rotating lights and no sound.the lights were of different colors than those on any air-craft,which uses red,green and clear-"white" lights.I cannot determine what type of "vehicle" or "craft" this had been.Upon seeing it with others we were not apprehensive or otherwise but aware of the situation at hand.I wish you at NUFORC the best and that the "endeavor" of your work will hope-fully be realized.
