Multiple lights, moving in erratic behavior, then flying south in uniform.

I saw some bright light that I thought was a shooting star from the west. I noticed it curved, much like a boomerang, only to vanish into thin air. This "bright light" would repeat this multiple times. After a few minutes, there were two bright lights that followed each other in a dancing fashion. These bright lights moved extremely quick, considering they were at about the height of an airplane. They made very quick, and sharp movements in the blink of an eye, only to disappear. After about 20 minutes, 7 bright lights left in uniform fashion (like the air force) heading south. The weather was foggy during the encounter, but quickly cleared up after the group of lights were seen leaving.

Soon after I called my mom and dad out of there RV and they were flabbergasted. Was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen.

I was fishing just west of the Shiloh ball fields when I noticed a non flashing yellowish white orb that was somewhat erratically flying towards the north horizon at what I'm guessing a moderate rate of speed. As it was heading farther away from my view point and getting close to the constellation of the big dipper which was clearly visible on the horizon. A beam of light about the same color, but not near as bright appeared to shoot up from ground level right next to the orb. The instant that happend both the orb and beam disappeared. Needless to say it was kinda hard to concentrate on fishing after that so I packed up and went home.

Orange/yellow lights appeared and vanished almost as quickly as they were seen, about the size of jet lights. No noise.

This event occurred twice. Standing outside talking on the phone when I noticed two orange/yellow lights, both about the size of jet lights. The lights then seemed to multiply. At that moment there were four lights, all the same size in a vertical line. About six feet apart. As soon as it multiplied about ten seconds went by and it vanished. There was no sound present. The following night, again was outside, I saw two more lights in a different area. same lights I had seen prior, only this time they did not multiply. I then saw the lights again three more times, all around the same area. I did notice that after seeing the first set, there were a few smaller white lights. They could have been helicopters, but there were approximately six or seven of them. They flew back and forth quite a few times and disappeared. Not soon after, maybe two or three minutes, I again saw the same lights. However, this time there was about seven or eight, seemingly to belong to the same ship. There was never any noise or indication it was there other than the lights. I never saw an aircraft, only the lights.

Three red spheres line up vertically and race off to the east.

Driving down Lake Front heading east, three bright red spheres appeared in the northeast. They lined up vertically and darted off to the east. They all left a trail that dissipated immediately. Evidence of their presence in the night sky was gone within seconds.

Took my dog out before bed and was watching jet flying east to west when it crossed path of dim white star like object moving south to north. Object caught my attention because it slowed down right before crossing path of jet in sky, then object moved slowly past that point then stopped completely. It turned bright reddish orange and grew approximately 5 times the size in about 3 seconds, then turned back into dim white light and then shot straight up disappearing almost instantly.all this happened around 10pm on a clear night sky.

Multiple lights on different days.

Multiple craft seen at least once a week for the past 5 months or so, usually hovering above the Skyline hills. I usually see them on a smoke break at my job. One occurrence was a bright green object moving above the mountain, stopped, changed to a red light, then dipped down below the tree line, and then shot back up.

One night saw very large craft with bright white lights hovering above the mountain area. Another night saw triangular objects fly over my work place. Multiple occasions of white lights jetting across the sky and coming to a complete stop.

Only one day have I seen a military aircraft in the area, and it was an army blackhawk helicopter flying over during the day. Could have been flying towards the nuclear plant, which is a UFO hotspot in our area.

What seemed to be stars at first moved and fly away!

I was watching the brite light in the southwestern sky(the thing they say is Venus but is visible from about 5:20 pm in the daytime) while observing the southwestern light, I witnessed a small light seem to come out of the stationary light (Venus) and move sideways then shoot up and away into space as that was ending what I thought was a star began to move sideways across the sky then also curve upward and shoot off into space!

Around two or three minutes after witnessing the first two lights yet another light slowly moved across the sky it would be extremely brite one second then gone the next and it continued this pattern halfway across the night sky!

After seeing these three light the sky seamed to fill up with aircraft flying in twos and from multiple angles across the sky. I assume the aircraft in twos was the military!

Was hovering over houses about 700-900ft, about 1/3 mile away from me, brighter than any aircraft light, or star, it made no noise. Around where i live, you can here a plane or helicopere coming from a mile or 2 away.

It did not start to move until i pulled a spotting scope out and started looking at it, then it went to the right and disappeared in about 3 seconds.

White Cylindriacal Cigar type object moves sluggishly in the northern sky.

Traveling North on Co. Rd. 49, crossing Britton Bridge over Cedar Creek , with my daughter, I saw a white/silver, cylindrical object that appeared to be hovering stationary in the sky well above the tree line, about seven fingers from the horizon.

Finding a place to pull over and stop the car, I watched as this elongated object moved slowly from general west. It moved to slow to be an airplane and there was no sound emitted as jets and planes make (even when they are not visible). In fact, during this time I neither heard nor saw any known air crafts. Also, there was not a cloud in the sky.

I watched for perhaps three to four minutes as it moved in a lazy fashion across the sky for at least six hand widths at arms length. I had time to notice that it did not taper to a near point at either end (as planes and helicopters do) but instead was rounded. Not a "hard" semi-circle round, but a softer "hill" type round. It also appeared to be long, (like a stretched blimp maybe), as well as narrow, (like a used up, shortened pencil).

I continued watching it travel eastward and in the blink of an eye, below this object and to the left, another object appeared suddenly. It too was elongated and white in color. Only the ends of the second object appeared to be flat and it moved from east to west. It too moved slowly.

They both appeared to be large and a good distance away. I would estimate their angle of elevation to be around 45 degrees or a little less.

A very large black and grey boomerang shaped UFO with no lights and no sound. It took almost the same path as the B52's that fly over for military training.

It flew very slow and straight about the same height as a small local aircraft. It was black with grey trim around the front of it.

I was in my back yard with another individual. We both saw it and tried to watch it for as long as we could until we could no longer see it.

The other individual was recently retired military. He didn't know what it was either.

I was going outside to smoke a cigarette at my apartment complex, when I noticed something out of the ordinary above the adjacent apartment building. When I opened the door to smoke, I froze instantly, kind of shocked by what I was looking at. I think it noticed me. Unfortunately, by the time it moved into the tree, I went back inside to inform my room mate, but afterwards it was nowhere to be seen. Right above the roof was a slow moving cylinder object, facing vertically. I can't recall the lights that were on it, but they were towards the top, almost like headlights. The object had kind of a haze around it. It was literally close enough to touch the roof, sort of peaking out over the top from the other side. It made absolutely no noise and moved slowly across the roof and into the tree, where I lost sight of it. I think it disappeared, but the dogs in the yard below us started to go NUTS. Barking obnoxiously for about 20 minutes.

Huge craft above nuclear plant.

My wife and I watched a large sitting craft near the nuclear plant. It wasn't too high and blocked the stars. It made no sound and was hard to see. U used my camera to zoom and could see how big it was. I took pictures, but they were useless. You couldn't see it right with my camera pictures from my phone, We watched for a couple minutes and went in to call a friend to see if he could see this, as he was closer to the nuclear plant. We went back outside and could see it looked to be gone. I looked all around for blocked stars or anything that we first saw and nothing was there.

Followed a craft and ended following two crafts that was just to fast to keep up with.

At first what I thought I was seeing a helicopter because it had three lights but then I noticed that there wasn't any flashing lights. So it caught my interest. The object was hovering and then started to move to my right after I noticed that it wasn't a helicopter. I was driving when I saw it so I just started following it. I didn't think it would move very fast but it started going so fast that the lights vanished in under a minute. While I was following one of the lights disappeared and then I could only see two lights. I believe it was because when I first spotted it I was seeing it from the side and as it moved I ended up behind the craft.

As I was following the craft, it seemed as if the whole thing turned over on it's back while it flown away from town. The lights on the craft changed from being horizontal to each other to being vertical and back to horizontal just before moving beyond seeing distance. Also, while I was following this first craft I s! aw my girlfriend that was in the car with me saw a different one. They were both headed in the same direction. The crafts was in the shape of a triangle but with rounded edges and it seemed to have a dark gray color to it. The lights were located at each end of the triangle and were halfway from the top and the bottom of the craft. The crafts also looked like they changed shape while turning over but they were too far to describe the shape it finally formed into.

Right after the little chase one of my headlights went out. It most likely wasn't from the sightings but I'd just thought I'd add that because I thought it was weird for it to burn out after that. Russellville has a lot of cops so I didn't drive over the speed limit chasing the crafts, I probably only drove around 40 mph at most. This is the second time I've seen anything like this but my first for this town.

bright orange glow that moved across the tree line for 10 minutes

i was coming home that evening from a friends house, while i was coming down my street i looked to the west and saw what i thought was the moon, i said to myself man the moon is really orange tonight, when i arrived at my home i got out and went around back to get a better look, what i saw was above the tree line it was bright orange maybe a 100 yards or more away, the light or orb slowly was moving to the north along the tree line, it was to low and to slow to be an airplane, i went around to the front of the house and followed it down my street until i lost sight of the object, i have not seen anything like this before and i can not explain what the light was. my daughter who is 14 was at her mothers across town that night, i talked with her the next day, i did not tell her about the light, but she brought up saying her and a friend saw a strange light in the sky around the same time, same color and description as i saw, i do not have proof of what i seen ! but this was real, my belief is these objects or things may show up on the fourth of july because of all the fireworks in the night sky, i do believe that what i saw was not an aircraft,fireworks or any type of balloon it moved at a regular pace did not move up or down.

Large red/orange sphere sighted flying east for about five seconds.

At approximately ten pm on August 22, 2009 I was outside on a blanket facing south. I was just stargazing, as there were a few nice meteors. I noticed as I looked southeast a large, red/orange ball flying east at approximately 1500 feet, going fast. The object was in my sight for approximately five seconds, before leaving my view by going behind some trees. As I had been looking in that direction a few seconds before, and saw nothing, then looked west-northwest for a second, then looked back to the south when I observed the object, I have no idea where it came from.

I got up and went into my home to get a camera in the hope of seeing it again, but it did not come back this way. I live on a hill overlooking a pasture going down a valley to the south for two miles. I have a great view of this valley, with the east and west being blocked by woods. This area is not a flight corridor, with the exception of three to four C-130’s that fly over during the week. This was not a plane. I was in the US Air Force, and love to fly, but this big sphere was in no way a light, in my opinion.

Mr. Davenport, I would like to comment on a sighting dated 2/12/09 near Russellville, Arkansas.

I live very near to the described location of the reported sighting. Based on the description furnished by the witness, I believe what was observed was a flight of three C-130 aircraft from the Little Rock Air Force Base. These aircraft fly directly over my home every night with out fail between 8 and 10 p.m.. The usual flight path is from the northeast to the southwest.

Along this flight path, the aircraft pass approximately 3-5 nautical miles west of Arkansas Nuclear One (the nuclear plant metioned in the report). Additionally, the aircrafts' usual approximate altitude is less than 1000 feet and display the ligting characteristics described by the witness (on one occasion they were so low that they momentarily blocked the signal to my satellite television receiver).

My personal opinion on the reported hovering of one of the aircraft is that if the aircraft is observed flying directly away from the observer it could appear to be motionless or hovering, as I have personally observed this with these aircraft on several occassions.

Russellville, Arkansas triangle lights west of nuclear power plant

We were driving East on Interstate 40, through Russellville, AR. The time was around 9:40pm. I saw what i thought was a low flying plane move gracefully over the tree line about 200 yards ahead of us. I saw another set of lights less than a few hundred feet behind it. They just glided (for lack of a better description ) over the interstate.

I didn't think much of it at first until the second set of triangle shaped lights came to a sudden stop on the tree line just to the right (south) of us on the freeway. We pulled off to the shoulder, I flew out of the car, and it was gone. Silent and instantly it disappeared, as my buddy and I watched.

I documented it on my map and wrote down where we were at, so when we stopped for the night we could see of there were any small airports nearby. As it happens, nothing but a lake and a state forest in is that area of rural Arkansas. It was about seven miles west of Russellville on I-40, a few miles from a nuclear power plant.

The objects came from the north side of the road at approximately 9:40 pm. The object I saw first was triangle shaped, with a solid white light at front and the lower right corner, and a solid greenish colored light on lower left. It flew relatively slow and continued its path over the tree line.

The second craft was similar, following extremely close behind and had solid white lights on all three corners. It made a dead stop less than a a hundred feet off the shoulder of Interstate 40. It hung there for what seemed like 30 seconds, maybe shorter.

I just made a report about a recent sighting. While I was on the website, I decided to look at my old posting from Feb 12, 2009. A response was made and I believe the response to be wrong and demeaning to my story.

I grew up my while life on Sugarbush Road, which runs parallel to the Selfridge Air Force Base runway, here in Chesterfield, MI. I have seen nearly every type of military aircraft make its way over my house in one form or another. The C130 has ALWAYS got my attention when they would fly over because they were very low and VERY loud. They would fly so low you would think that they were skipping over the trees. So I am VERY familiar with the C130 and how they look in the sky, be it day or night.

That being said, these were NOT C130 aircraft that we saw. They were MUCH larger than any aircraft I have ever seen. Also, I have NEVER seen a C130 fly right on the tail of another C130. It was so close it was like it was being towed by the other one in front. Regarding how the "it can look like it was hovering" comment, I understand when he meant, but that is not what happened. We were already coming to a very fast stop on the shoulder. The van was pretty much at a stop already when we saw it/them hovering.

I think the response to my report is uninformed and based on what he "thought" we saw. He did not see what we saw when we saw it. We stand by our story!

There were two formations across the city, one near the Arkansas Nuclear Plant cooling tower, which later shifted over towards Mt. Nebo.

The others were over above the interstate. Both formations were very similar.

Bright light in sky that shifted coarce very slowly, no plane, star, or planet.

Saw Bright light in sky. Procceded outside to get a closer look. The two of us watched the light stay in the same position for about 15 min, then the light shifted and was now in a diffrent spot. The light was very low and close. It was a bright round shape. The object/light then started to fade away as if it were moving away but still very slow. The whole duration of time was about 45 min.

There were many people in Cole county and surrounding counties that seen the object also.

I was listening to the scanner when the first report came into the Cole County Sherrifs Office (This dispatch was called Jeff Central) about a bright light in the southeastern part of Russellville. Deputies were dispatched to the area, I believe there were 2 deputies that arrived and called back into the dispatch operator and said they had a confirmed sighting of something but was not sure of what it was. They thought it was a joke at first but quickly found out it wasn't. They had dispatch call the Air force to see if they had any air craft in the area and to see if they had anything on radar, they said they had no air craft in the area and showed nothing on their radars. The deputies followed it for a long time and listening to them on the scanner i could tell they were shaken up a bit, you could here it in their voices. Nothing was ever printed in the paper or reported as far as I know. I do remember that one deputy sayng that he had never seen lights like that before and that the lights changed colors from time to time. He had gotten within a hundred feet of the object and also said it was not making any noise.

Line of red lights drifting over south side of Crow Mountain

Smoking a ciggarette outside my friends house on the Atkins side of Crow Mountain.

between 12:25am-12:45am I looked to the south, a perfectly straight line of 6 to 8 solid red lights were drifting West to east appox. 30-40mph. What appears to be the front(I think)of the line of lights would tilt their angle about 10 degrees down and then back to center. This happens 2 times. Then it angles about 30 degrees down, and slowly disappears behind the distant treeline.

This object was moving in a straight line north to south, cylinder shaped with two redish lights, one toward the front one near the rear. No sound was herd and it looked rather low flying and looked almost transparent. My wife and I spotted it directly above the house and watched it move away until it got behind the tree.

This is in response to a similar report from Pottsville, AR that occurred on 12/2/04. On two occasions, I've sighted a similar object in the same general area that exhibited similar flight characteristics. For the sake of brevity, I'm only describing the most recent incident here. In the month of October 2004, I was traveling west on I-40 near Pottsville, AR at approximately 2000hrs when I noticed a white, non-blinking light west of my location at approximately 30 degrees above the horizon. The light was moving from south to north. I estimated its speed as comparable to a small fixed-wing aircraft. As, I neared the eastern city limits of Russellville, I realized that the object was directly over the eastern part of Russellville at an approximate altitude of 1500 ft. At this time, I reasoned that the object was the landing light of a small aircraft inbound to the Russellville municipal airport. However, an actual small aircraft moving north to south passed beneath the light and continued to descend towards the airport. I estimate the closest distance between the object and the aircraft to be less than 1000 feet as the two passed. The object continued to move to the north until it was approximately 1/2-3/4 mile north of I-40, at which time it made a slow turn towards the south and followed its original path back the way it had came across I-40. As I neared Russellville, I crossed beneath the object's flight path. At this point, the object was directly south of my location. I exited I-40 at exit 82 and stopped at a gas station at the top of the exit ramp to attempt a better observation of the object. Unfortuntately, by this time the object had moved well to the south and was difficult to observe. While standing in the gas station parking lot, I was able to note that the object was indeed moving to the south and was not a star or planet. I lost sight of the object shortly after that.

Long Cylinder shaped with one end slightly larger than the other that also came to a point. It was followed closly by two smaller ships that were circular, almost egg shaped. Moved Very quickly and constantly disappeared and reapeared for over an hour.

Three Lights Form Triangle in Sky Near Russellville, AR on Evening of 10/29/03

Traveling east on state highway 326 along the edge of Lake Dardanelle on the north side of Russellville, AR, my wife and I noticed three bright lights in the sky approximately 5-10 degrees above the horizon east of our location. The three lights formed an equilateral triangular with two of the lights forming the base and the third light forming the peak. They were white with a brightness approximately like headlights of an oncoming vehicle. Based on nearby landmarks (e.g., edge of the lake, Interstate 40, etc.), it appeared that the lights were at least a mile away from our location, but it is impossible to estimate how far away they actually were. To get an idea of how far apart the lights were from one another, if I had held a ruler with my arm extended toward the lights, I estimate that the distance between each light would have appeared to have been 2-3" apart. The lights did not blink or move while we observed them. We saw the lights for approximately 15 seconds before they instantly disappeared. We could still see a few faint stars in that area of the sky but saw nothing at all that could possibly account for the three lights. Based on these characteristics, we do not believe that the lights were produced from airplanes or helicopters.

I was awoke by a variable beeping noise,persistant and different from anything my husband and I have ever heard.It lasted approx. 5 min

At approximated 1210 AM , I was awoke by a persistant variable beeping niose outside my bedroom wall. I woke my husband and asked him , ''WHAT IS THAT NOISE?". He listened and said "I don't know " and run to the window toward the side of the noise. Not seeing anything he ran to the den and approached the window facing the side of the house the noise was emmitting from. It became louder and faster in a burst of noise suddenly faded off. The dogs and cat had been barking continally while the niose was present and immediately quietened after the noise stopped. It was unlike anything we have ever heard. My Husband said what ever was outside saw him come toward the window as it speed up the beat and vanished. Our dogs are out loose as we live in the country and only bark at strange animals or people. We had our christmas lights on outside and inside the house. Could it have been attracted to the lights of the christmas tree? The window my husband approached had wood blinds partially opened so outsiders could see the lights easily. We have a large pasture next to the house-1/2 mile or so. It was a noise with a fast variable beep similar to the sound a touch tone phone makes on redial but more defined and scaled variable beeps. Their are no electical or phone lines outside that side of the house. I would be interested if anyone has had similar events or if an explaination could be given.

Two different occasions of seeing very small lights at a very far off distance.

I was 12 at the time of my first of two UFO sitings. The first siting occured in about 10 years ago. My brother and I and one of his friends were bouncing on the trampoline during a typical sleepover at my house. My brother got off of the trampoline to go into the house and get a drink. So, while my brother's friend and I waited for him to come back, we both naturally started looking at the stars. We had both spotted the same red light (looked like a star only red). It was traveling at a much faster pace than a jet or any other "earthly" known craft could have gone. Plus, there were no blinking lights that are typical of planes in the sky. Anyway, it was traveling in a straight line for about 2 seconds and then made this small turn and curved back in the opposite direction that it was traveling and sped off so fast that I could not see where it had gone. I have seen this only one other time, about 1 year ago, and it was a white nonflashing light and traveled one direction in at an unearthly speed.

First I saw small white lights from a distance, then a big creamy colored light up close.

I was up late up night because I couldn't sleep. Hoping to fall asleep, I began gazing out the window, up at the stars. Then I noticed small white lights dashing in all directions arcoss the sky.I'd say there were about five of them.I watched them for awhile, wondering what they were. Then as half-way as a joke, I went to get the most powerful flash-light I could find. Then I returned to the window, and then started flashing the light towards them. They seemed to respond, flashing back as flashed. I even flashed the light in a sequence,once every two seconds, and they repeated it back to me. Right after that, a large,oval-shaped,creamy-white light,with a haze of the same color all around it, flashed right behind a tree about twenty feet away from the window.It looked like it was hovering, didn't land, but just stayed there for a second.It only did this once. I was so scared, I put the light out, pulled down the shades, and tried to find a different way to get to sleep. The next night, I had a friend stay the night with me. I'd told her about it, and we wanted to see if they would appear again. Again,the smaller lights appeared, and We both saw them. And we tried flashing them with the flash-light, but the large oval light never showed itself to us, or me again.

Hovering over the Nuclear Plant

Lake Dardanelle State Park Supt. and I were patrolling the park (across Lake Dardanelle) from the Nuclear Plant when we noticed three sets of red lights hovering over the cooling tower of the nuke plant.

We remarked on how dumb those, what we thought were helicopter pilots, guys were to be hovering over the nuke plant.

Then we realized they weren't aircraft. We watched them for about 10-20 minutes, when they suddenly flew across the lake, about 3 miles distance, in about 1 second.

They hovered over a mountain for about 5 minutes, when they suddenly flew back across the lake immediately over the nuke plant cooling tower again and came to a dead stop.

They hovered for another 10-20 minutes, then went straight up out of sight.

In those days, people thought you crazy for reporting UFOs, so this is the first report of what we saw that night.

Huge orange ball floating over Russellville, Arkansas, in late 50s.

Our family had come from Michigan to vacation with grandparents in Russellville Arkansas one summer in the late 1950s. One early evening about dusk we were all interrupted from the supper table by a neighbor girl knocking on everyone's doors excitedly yelling to come and see "Mars" in the sky.

Neighbors up and down the street witnessed a huge orange glowing ball roll across the sky slowly within the space of about 10 minutes. It seemed to be rolling like a ball and I recall it seemed to have darkish marks or a swirling pattern on it as it rolled. It made no sound.

The kids were all running down the street trying to keep it in sight. It seemed to be at about the altitude of a small airplane.

I am 64 years old and I have never forgotten it.
