4:30 am. 4.20.25 :The first sighting was straight up in the sky. Appeared to be about the height that passenger jets fly. Was traveling north for a moment then stopped. Then it moved South , then east and then west again. very erratic flight pattern.. I have two cell phone video of this. Uncharacteristic of any conventional aircraft I am aware of.

The 2nd sighting was roughly 3 minutes later. This was two winged, very well lit, light blue craft closer to earth than the first sighting minutes before. One trailing close behind the other. Both moving in circles and curves at very high speed. Faster than any speed I would ever imagine possible with conventional aircraft It looked like both of them may have been controlled by the same source. Then they vanished the second I tried to get my camera adjusted. I did not get this one on video.

What first looked like a lite up fat bird moving quickly from the right to left seeming to bounce, then became small and left.

I was in my backyard looking towards the west at Orion’s Belt. I was noticing 3 stars above Orion in a straight line I hadn’t taken note of before when I saw what I first thought was a very fat bird lite up the street lights. I kept looking at it and it was moving much faster than a bird, and I realized it wasn’t actually a bird but some sort of bright object moving across the sky. I’ve lived near flight paths my whole life and it wasn’t an airplane or helicopter. There was no noise or red/green blinking lights. As it kept moved it was almost like it was shaking up and down. It moved from right to left (north to south) then it suddenly seemed to turn west and looked only like a little light flying away. It wasn’t a plane, helicopter, or bird. It wasn’t a comet, meteor, satellite, or rocket. It moved with control.

Noticed bright blue glowing lights behind subdivision tonight and saw a huge upside-down Pyramid rotating glowing red on bottom

Several bright blue glowing orbs moving up n down through the trees. We also noticed something hovering between the ground and trees, and that's when we saw it. A huge brownish colored Pyramid that was upside-down with glowing bright red lights on the bottom. It rotated upright and just stayed there hovering. We could not believe our eyes! We just stood there not believing what we were seeing!

Heard/felt a deep pulsating sound & higher one. It emitted red light, hovered, moved left to right. I got scared ran inside.

Around 3 AM I I was outside entering the house from a back entrance & heard a very loud (as loud as a thunderstorm) noise. It was a deep pulsating sound with another simultaneous higher pitched sound. When I couldn’t open the back door because the knob was stiff from the cold I went around the side entrance and saw a circular smoky colored object as large as a private plane emitting a red light. It was above the neighbor across the street’s home. Everyone in our neighborhood has at least 3 acres so it wasn’t terribly close. It was hovering over the neighbor's & seemed to be checking out the houses or something. When I walked forward to get a closer look it was moving to the right getting further for me then I felt like it spotted me or something because it started to move in my direction, so I hid behind a column on the breezeway to look a bit more, then I got scared because I knew I was the only person awake in the neighborhood, so I ran inside and killed the lights and hid. It was gone when I came back out 30 minutes later.

Silent Light with mist around emitting something from the front

I went out to have a cigarette and when I came out of the door I looked to the west to look at the sunset. There was a big (as in not huge but bigger than a plane) light coming in my direction. It was blueish but on the video I took, it appears more white. What struck me aside from its size was that there was no sound and it was surrounded by what I can only describe as a mist or a fog but there were no clouds at all! Then as it got closer it sort of started gradually heading southeast. It emitted something toward the front that looked like what we see when one of our aircraft breaks the sound barrier but it was in the front. It continued southeast and got mustier and vanished. Again, conditions were very clear -- I could clearly see other aircraft and stars coming out. It looked like a ball of light so I can't really say the shape of it.

Clear circular object with two bright, silver dots on either side. Dropped down in sky, left short contrail and one dot disappeared.

One object spotted in North/Northeast sky from the intersection vantage point. Clear day and no other clouds or objects visible in the vicinity. Traveling on the highway for most of the time it was witnessed, so I could not take a photo. The witnessed and elapsed times are estimated.

The object appeared circular with two shiny, silver dots on opposite sides of the circle at a ~150 degree angle to the ground. It appeared to have an outline of a circle, but clear in the middle. The sky was visible there. I am not good at estimating distance or size, but it was around an inch wide in the sky. Seemed to fly parallel to the ground for 30 seconds (after I noticed it), then descended quickly along that same angle. Dots were moving and one suddenly disappeared leaving a short, thick condensation trail in the sky. The other dot was less visible, but still moving and descending when I lost sight of it as I moved with traffic.

I was swimming in Strouds Lake at above saw a series of 5-7 square yellow/green squares all moving very slowly and equal distance apart

I regularly take a swim in Strouds Run State Park. I swim across and then return back. On my way back I looked up and saw the sky. It was sunset and dark blue above me. To the horizon was colorful sunset. Above me I noticed thin clouds. I noticed among them were 5-7 square yellow green colored objects. All equal distance and within the clouds. There was no noise. They moved very slowly over head. I could not come ot any other human make objects which they may have been. It was a bit frightening being in the middle of the lake as the object(s) passed overhead of me. I felt am awareness of myself and that something above was looking at me. It was a strange feeling. I swam as quickly as I could back to shore. At this point it had passed and was continuing East slowly over the lake.

More more detail, the green/yellow squares apeared to be blinking.

I seen an odd flying object and I stopped and got a video

I had just made it to the top of the driveway on my way home from work this morning. I seen something odd flying and then it went behind a line of trees so I drove down my driveway as quick as I could, put my car in park and started recording. It was in a saucer shape and it had red blue lights that later turned to green orange. I’m bad with measurements but it really wasn’t too far higher than the tree line and the place where it went out of sight was at the top of a steep hill. I couldn’t tell if it landed but it had to have been within feet from the trees if it didn’t land. No sort of regular aircraft flies like this.

Started noticing strange lights in the night skies above our neighborhood around the middle of May. Since then the activity has picked up. We have footage and pictures we have taken with cellphones, also minoculars with infrared. I've never seen anything like this before. There are also orbs that glow bright orange. For some strange reason or another, whatever these are, they are in and above the tree lines that border our neighborhood, which is in close proximity to other neighborhoods and Hwy.316. We cannot be the only ones to see this. Over the past 7 days we have also noticed these objects getting closer into our subdivision at night, and there are several of these objects. Not only can you feel the heat coming off them, it definitely feels threatening. There is nothing "normal" about any of this, and for the longest we just chalked it up to stars. But after seeing these things on camera, its definitely real and terrifying. Again, we cannot be the only people around here that notice these strange objects because it doesn't seem like they are shy, especially at night and during thunderstorm activity. I'll put it this way, we cannot wait to move.

At approximately 1500 hours I witnessed an object traveling East to West across North Jefferson Street/ Alabama HWY 127. I was walking North along the side of the hwy, the object was white in color and had a cylinder shaped section on the top with what appeared to be a bubble window. The bottom of the object was cone shaped with a silver flat bottom. To be completely honest I swear that what I was a Saturn 5 command module. Been watching these for about 4 years now and I know they are not drones because these things are able to hover in the sky the entire night. Ok so what I see every night looks like a star to anyone who glances up but they move zig zagging back and forth and they have a red lazer beam light coming from them that is almost invisible to the naked eye but it moves around like its scanning the area and the beam moves all around it side to side around on the ground and it will shine it on other objects like itself beside it almost like they are communicating idk what they are but I could swear they react to my presence as I'm watching from the window they move more erratically and they come in closer to look at me and I can swear they react to things I say to and when they're beam looks at me my eyes go blurry for a second and their light doesn't blink but flickers and I have seen them link together with others like them and move around together in the same exact ! consistency and I say linked I mean there is actually a lazer light Between them that you almost can't see like the the light that scans things I've also been driving at night and had them follow me every where and I have a witness who was driving me when I saw it I pointed it to her and she started trying to ditch it making sudden u turns and taking back roads when we stopped at a gas station we parked at a pump under a canopy roof and I got out of the van and walked out from under the cover and it was there up in the sky hovering slightly above me and its light flickering I walked out to the edge of the parking lot and it moved with me I walked back toward the van and here it came and when we left it followed behind we took a back county road home and it tagged behind and I looked away for a min and my friend said omg look at this there's more of them and when I looked up I was blown away there were 4 to 5 of them now the first one was larger than the rest flying above th! e other smaller ones and they of course moved simultaneously i! n the sa me way all had flickering light on them following our every move I had seen anything like this and haven't since and it was about 8 months ago but when we got to her house they were gone they just vanished and also I've been seeing them in the form of lightning bug like things and they are in the yard flying around with the rest of the lightning bugs but they don't flash bright green they are bright led bluish light and they move around faster than a lightning bug can

At 21:00, I was sitting in my tractor trailer in a dock door, getting loaded and enjoying the clear night sky, with the moon almost straight ahead and up and the little dipper down and to the left and a bright white star left of that which I assume to be Venus or another planet given the brightness. While focused on that planet, a movement in the sky caught my eye and it appeared as if one of the stars began to move slightly to the left of the presumed planet and then I realised there were no blinking lights or noises, and then I tried to film it with my cell phone, but it didn't appear on my sub par camera, so I watched it move further in the same direction then it appeared to zig zag slightly then just fade out as if it were never even there. I wasn't at all freaked out as it seemed peaceful, almost like it was just enjoying a nice flight under the stars or amongst them. I would like to point out that there were no visible clouds as I am posting this while still sitting in the same location.

I was sitting outside because I remembered there was supposed to be a meteor shower and I saw a star that looked like it was twinkling, so I looked more closely and it looked like there were blue spindles with red lights attached to the end spinning extremely fast. I thought it might have been an airplane but it was way too big and it wasn't moving from where it was. I went inside to turn off my porch light and came back to see it more clearly. It didn't move, just spun extremely fast in the same place. I looked really closely at other stars to make sure I wasn't just seeing something, and I wasn't. I think it was a circular shape but it was angled strangely, so I saw more of an oval/elliptical shape.

I was driving to work, later down the road when I was turning onto the I-77 on ramp from Athens, I saw very briefly towards the West (about 3 sec) a small chevron shaped object maneuvering through the clouds/fog over the Camp Creek area around 4am this morning,

It swooped down from the fog and did a loop and swooped back up into clouds/fog, it had no lights only a dark circle under its belly, the reason why I got a glimpse of it is because when it swooped down the glow of the city lights reflected off its belly, the size of this thing was about the size of a small aircraft and it was about 1200ft in the air and about 4mi away from my location over the hills, like I said I only saw what it did very briefly and never saw it again. It might have been a military test drone, I've heard that the WV air force base in Charleston sometimes test aircraft over the area.

Red/White triangle, and "helo" rotor sound,

Feb 6, 2017, 2325 EST. I started hearing what sounded like a single rotor helicopter just hovering, by the sound, maybe 200yds away, 100ft up. Over about 3 minutes the sound slowly increased, increasing in intensity, until my windows started rattling, as if a train was passing real close. The rotor sound was very loud, 85 – 95db, increasing in pitch. I looked out the window, there was a bright moon, everything looked normal, no odd shadows, nothing blocking the moon. The coyotes were yipping and howling.

In an instant, I saw 2 lines of light, one red, one white that formed the “sides” of a triangle, in that same instant, the light triangle appeared to move extremely fast in a straight line making a screeching sound, almost like a startled mouse would make, only much louder. The triangle appeared to be 30yrds away, possibly 15 – 20ft in size, about 40ft up.

The “rotor sound” was gone, windows stopped rattling. A split second later, the rotor sound came back 200yrds farther East as just a low, slow moving drone.

The triangle light was as clear a light as I’ve ever seen, appeared to be just below a solid object, that now blocked the moon light, The acceleration was nearly instantaneous.

The coyotes went silent.

3 hrs later there was a meteor that streaked the sky that was NOT anything like what I saw earlier.

Saw a white cigar shaped craft, slowly flying over head. Just under th clouds. Seemed glossy white like a commercial air craft. No markings. It sounded like a jet and a helicopter in one. It had two wings and 4 smaller cigar shaped what looked like engines or where a props would be. Never seen a craft like this and once I read other people had seen something similar I wonder wtf it was/is. The weather.....? Weather drones....?

woke up, the power was out, steeped outside to second floor balcony.

to see if the power was out just in my apartment, or power was out in the area.

The power was out everywhere. looking at the night sky, was a bright full moon. was hoping to get a good view of the stars, with the power out. But the moon was so bright, was not able to get a good view of the stars. looking toward the western sky I see a very bright orange light, moving at high speed. Moving from west to east.

It had a oval shape. It had no contrail, made no sound.

I was in the USAF. I know what I saw was not any kind of winged aircraft, or meteor. i estimate it past within a mile or two from were I live. I went around the back of the complex to see if i see more of it. But it was already gone. Spoke to a man that lives next to me said He saw it also.

Orange and green lights on a dark object with no obvious noise, no obvious wings and no propellers

I have seen this pale orange color light on two other occasions in the same basic area in the October/November timeframes only this time it was at the top of the tree line and crossing over the road I was on.

As it got closer to my car I could vaguely see underneath it. It had either blue or green lights on the left and right of the orange ball and underneath it was dark colored. It did not appear to have any landing gear or anything. It didn’t look like any type of aircraft I had ever seen before so it is hard to describe it.

I could not tell the overall shape of it because of the dark color in the dark sky. I did not hear any noises from it and did not see any obvious wings or propellers.

It went slowly over the top of my car and then disappeared. It was in the Northwest sky this time but has previously been Northeast. This time it seemed like it was within 50-100 ft of the ground. If I see it again I will try to get a picture.

Four dim lights move in formation across the sky, with no blinking, color, or sound

I was taking my dog out after getting in late from work. I'm a grad student at the University of Georgia in a physical science. I was looking at Orion and noticed 4 dim lights moving across the sky above Orion's head. The lights were dim (about as bright as the stars in Orion's sword or bow) but arranged like an equilateral triangle pointed in the direction of movement and the fourth light was on the left back side (if you extended the left triangle side back along the angle of the triangle's side). All lights were pretty equally spaced (except the fourth light from the far triangle's other vertex). No odd color or flashing seen. No sound. Overall size/spread comparable to the Pleiades.

They moved pretty fast in a ~330 degree heading. I tried to see if the shape would eclipse a star (to see if they were four lights on a single craft/plane) or if they were separated with nothing between the lights, but the lights didn't pass over any stars I could see. I lost it in the city glare about 10-20 seconds after spotting the lights, when it had covered about 1/4 of the sky.

It honestly looked very similar to a simple satellite crossing the sky, except there were four moving in motion together. I didn't notice any obvious individual light movement or change in relative position between the lights, but I think I saw a slight change in the relative positions due to perspective change as it flew farther to the northwest. No way to estimate altitude, although it was large enough that if it was a plane, it would've been low enough to hear probably.

If four satellites could be placed together and move together across the sky, that would look just like this. But I can't find evidence of that actually happening (plus that seems risky for satellites) and I've never seen that in years of looking at the sky.

About 070 from 1/2 mile south of Ohio University. Elev angle constant about 25 degrees above horizon. Stationary. Red, white, green lighting appears to be mechanically generated. Craft position unchanged over one hour observation. Illumination level brighter than Venus or Vega. I don't see any planets above the horizon on my sky view phone app. Three planets are indicated as well below horizon. No clouds. Cool temp mid 50s. Minimal air movement. Red and green light swap sides as if autorotation craft was changing headings 180 degrees. No apparent pattern to that. White above r & g but no space discernible between top to bottom. Too distant for iPhone camera. Easily seen lights detail w binocs 7x50.

Addendum to earlier; after calling hotline: Orange changing to amber lights were added for last 30 minutes of observation. The amber lights tended to obscure the red and green lights when they strived on. Lights disappeared with no apparent change in position. I was watching through binocs and lights were there and then they were not. There was no change in position. Stars changed position but it did not. I took rapid exposures with iPhone (15 / sec?). Resolution is so poor colors can't be discerned. About all the pics demonstrate is the dimming and brightening of a white light. W r/g r/g or/amb or/amb

Fighter jets seemed to be chasing something.

We did not actually see any UFO's but I wanted to report very strange military activity. Two fighter jets were seen making very unusual maneuvers in the sky this morning about 10:45.

We have never seen any fighter jets before today. They seemed to be chasing something by the way they were banking and turning. At one point they split up, one going straight up and the other banking hard to the right coming full circle and meeting up with the first again.

My neighbor and I watched this for about 10 minutes.

We both felt it was highly unusual and there was an ominous feel in the air, the hair on both of our arms was standing up.

Wonder if anyone else saw anything?

Light gets brighter then dims to look like a normal star moving East.

Me and my husband was outside getting stuff out of the vehicle and because there was a meteor shower set to begin at 11:00pm I glanced up at the sky and there was a really bright light suddenly appear from nowhere while I was looking and it got brighter and thinking it was a meteor I told my husband to look.

As we were both watching it got a little bit brighter and then appeared to go back upwards and got dimmer and dimmer then went towards the East and you could barely see it but it was moving very slowly and I watched it slowly creep East until trees blocked out to where I could not see anymore.

It was very beautiful and it was only 10:45pm.

A few minutes later an aircraft appeared in the same spot and seemed to follow in the direction the light went.

My wife and I were driving back from her dad's office along Gaines School just after midnight when she saw some slow-moving lights a few blocks away. I figured it was an airplane or something, but as we got closer it stopped moving entirely. So when we got alongside it, I pulled into the parking lot where K-Mart used to be.

As we got closer, it seemed no bigger than a go-kart, with 3 bright blue-white lights forming a triangle. I pulled underneath it, and it was up, maybe 150 ft. in the air, but the instant we got under it, the object started to move north. At this point, we assumed it must be some kind of remote-controlled aircraft (with lights?) and looked for someone operating it as we drove. We saw no one. It began to move faster and I continued through the long strip mall drive following behind it. We lost sight of it when it went over the Jittery Joe's, but by the time I got on the other side, it was completely gone.

6 orange orbs moving east to west, sighted over a 10 minute period, in North Texas.

About 22:15 (10:15 pm cdt) on July 5, my family and I were sitting outside. When I looked up into the sky, I saw a fairly large orange glowing orb moving rapidly overhead right about 90 degrees of elevation.

It moved from East to West (retrograde, so was not a satellite) and lasted about a minute.

The brightness did not seem to change other than dimming as it moved away from us. The visual angle subtended an arc of about 120 degrees across the sky.

About one or two minutes later, we saw a group of three similar objects along the same flight path as the first one. My daughter used an iphone to take video, but it is fairly dark and hard to distinguish the objects.

About 3 minutes later two more objects passed overhead, again on the same flight path. There was no sound from the objects. It appeared as if they were glowing from heating up the atmosphere.

They moved much faster than orbital satellites (International Space Station, for example) or airplanes, but much slower than meteors and did not change brightness as a meteor would upon entering the atmosphere.

I am a retired military fighter pilot, retired commercial airline pilot and former astronaut.

I have no explanation for what we saw.

Three quickly flashing lights one after the other repeating in order and moving together

About 9:45PM CT on 2013-05-20 looking North, there were three flashing (light up then go out) round white lights one after the other with each flashing 2-3 times very quickly(within no more than a second). The flash would occur 2-3 times very quickly, then it would occur again to the left of where the last occurred about half a second to a second later, then again for a third time to the left of the previous again half a second to a second after the previous. It would all repeat again roughly starting back to where the flashes came from the first time (they were moving) and continue in the same order.

The three flashing lights were moving at the same speed, at the same distance apart, and at the same height (being about the same altitude as a large passenger jet would be when circling or turning to land) as they came closer. So it appeared that all three were some how attached. For a brief moment I thought it may have been three airplanes in a formation and their flashing lights just happened to occur to appear one after the other. It was obviously not a single airplane as the right most and left most flashing lights were to far apart even for a large jet. However, I quickly realized that I've never seen any airplane lights flash 2-3 times very quickly like these did.

I therefore continued to watch these flashing lights. Together they turned and started heading West much like a large airplane would do. The three flashing lights got closer to each other while turning to go West. This is when I called my wife to come outside. She came out and we watched them until we could no longer see the flashes of lights. It lasted 3-5 minutes from the time I first saw the flashing lights to the point I could no longer see them.

To help describe it, a very simple example would be to imagine looking at a stick (horizontal with one end pointing East and the other West) with a light that flashes on the end pointing East, after it stops then a light flashes in the middle of the stick, after it stops a light flashes on the other end of the stick pointing West. Then slowly turn it so the end the was pointed East points South/South-East and the end that was pointing West points North/North-West. While turning it the lights will appear to get closer to each other.

There were no other lights such as a red strobe light or any lights that were constantly on. No objects could be seen, only the flashing lights. I could not hear any sound but the A/C unit for my house and neighbors were running. The way the three flashing lights appeared to be connected and how they turned would resemble an airplane(a light on each wing and one on the nose or underneath between the wings). However the span from the light on the right to the light on the left was way to long to be a single airplane. Maybe it could have been three planes in a formation but I've never seen lights on a plane flash 2-3 times that quickly. Also the timing of the lights flashing one after the other would seem very unlikely across three planes.

Close orange fiery object flying slow and low

A friend and I had been returning from a bike ride after dark on the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway when we stopped alongside the Hocking River behind the Athens Public Library. This is a wide-open area with a great view of the night sky. It was mostly cloudy with no stars visible. Sunset was an hour before at 7:20 PM EDT. As soon as we stopped, we noticed what we thought was a low flying helicopter approaching from north to south heading directly toward us with what appeared to be a bright deep orange light shining from it. It was close being only about 150 to 250 feet high (twice as high as a tall tree) and about 200 yards in front of us traveling very slow. The closer it approached, the more we realized that it wasn’t normal. For a moment we both thought it was a helicopter or a small plane that was on fire and about to crash. What we had first thought was a light turned out to be more of an intense deep orange glow that encompassed the entire roundish obje! ct and changed hues so that it resembled a fire. It made no sound at all. It was a very quiet evening and we made a point to listen closely. The object was definitely about the same size as a helicopter. I signaled at it for about 15 seconds with a flashlight until it was about 50 yards in front of us (alarmingly close), still at about 150-250 feet high. It then made a sharp 90 degree turn and moved rapidly out of sight toward the east. The whole event lasted about 90 seconds with about 85 seconds of approaching toward us and about 5 seconds moving quickly away from us. (Note: Although I am just now submitting this description, it was written the morning after the sighting.)

Amazing bright light that slowly moved a crossed the sky stopped then went back the way it came.

i went outside to give my girlfriend a call and smoke a cig,i was sitting facing the north and out the corner of my eye i see what i thought was a star.i thought wow that thing is bright almost thought to my self what light is that as many i havent seen it there before...it was in the eastern sky mid level not moving i seen it there for about 15 secs i would say with little to no movement then it started to move up the sky towards the top at the point when it started to move within about 5 secs it got dim too what looked like a dim star when and had what looked like a blowing up star as it flicker but not the red blue as you see when looking at them,when it got almost to the top it stopped at this point i kicked my door open to yell to my dad get out here theres something in the sky,made sure i kept my eye on it,then still watching it stopped a few degrees from the top it made a 180 not a turn but a full stop,then went down but not in the same line that it c! ame on went back down almost to where i first laid eyes on it the went towards the south this is where my dad came out to try and see it but he couldnt make out where it was but i could still see it as it became more and more dim it faded away as it got farther...i saw something else after i got off the phone from calling and making the report on the phone line i saw some thing come from the north and go toward the south but no bright light was saw with this so it could of been a satellite which i have seen before and i know they also can get bright and certain points in the sky....i don't know i never seen what i saw it brought chills to my arms thank you would like to talk to you over the phone this thing was something else

Black triangular craft hovered without noise then was gone

I was at a stop sign and when I was looking for traffic something caught my gaze at the corner of my eye. I looked up and at the height of a tall tree was a solid and black triangular aircraft. It didn't have any wing engines like passenger planes have. It had bright white lights on the bottom lining the edge of the bottom. The lights were big and didn't blink. The whole object was about the length of a pickup truck and at the widest part was about as wide as it was long. I looked away for a second to a nearby bus stop and two other people were looking up at what I was. I don't know who they were so I can't give their contact information but they were pointing and looking up at it. It hovered for about a minute and then banked to the right and it was gone in seconds. I had my windows down and it didn't make any noise.

Triangular UFO turns into 2.

Approximately 10pm on January 10, 2012, I was driving my car eastbound through town in Athens, IL. I looked out of my window (south) and seen a very low flying object, about tree top high. We are about 15 minuets from the airport in Springfield, IL, so my first instinct was that it was a plane, until it got closer.

I notified the passengers in the car to look out their windows on the opposite side of the vehicle as we came to a stop in the road and we all three watched out the windows.

As it moved over the top of us, we realized that this object was triangular shaped and had lights on each point of the triangle and was not moving at a very fast speed for a normal plane.

As we continued to watch, the object moved onward then turned into two seperate objects and took off extremely fast across the sky in two opposite directions. One went northeast and one went west.

This was not the first UFO sighting I have seen, the first happened around 1999 just north of Petersburg, IL, at approximately 9pm (3 witnesses), but this UFO started out as an abnormally bright light high in the sky, it disappeared then re-appeared within a few minuets but closer. We shined a 2 mile flashlight towards the object and it disappeared again.

We stared off into the sky in curiosity and suddenly, a large oval light, yellowish orange in color, appeared above our neighbors tree (approximately 1/2 football field away) it just hovered there without noise and another oval light appeared on the right side and one more on the left side of the first initial oval light.

The objects stayed there for only a mere 1-2 minuets and then disappeared. This object moved fast, hovered, had no sound.

The way this happened, I feel that this object wanted our specific attention.

Flying object with 3 red, rear end tail lights in the shape of a triangle that illuminated in and out of brightness.

I heard a loud humming/engine noise through the screen door of my apartment so I stepped out onto my third story balcony and saw a low flying aircraft that appeared to be in the shape of a cylinder, but I cannot confirm this shape due to how dark it was outside. The object headed NW and held a very steady altitude and speed, almost as if it was on cruise control.

What was most noticeable were the lights on the rear end of the craft. From my vantage point, I watched the object from behind and had a clear visual of the back end of the object. It appeared to have a large panel of lights on the rear end of it. In the center of the panel were three red lights in the shape of a triangle that illuminated in and out slowly. There were other white lights that surrounded the triangular shaped lights in the center but these did not dim in and out as the red ones did.

I watched the object until it disappeared behind a tree line. The light characteristics, altitude and speed remained constant throughout the entire duration of the sighting.

I am an avid stargazer and night sky observer and am very familiar with the characteristics of airplanes and helicopters, especially at night. What I saw this particular night did not fit either of those descriptions.

Close bright light with hovering trajectory in Athens, GA.

We saw a light emitting the same luminosity as a bright star, only slightly bigger than the biggest star visible on a clear night and with a very subtle yellowish hue.

The flying object passed across the sky with passenger planes behind it and the rate at which it flew and lack of flashing lights is what gained our attention.

Farther above and in the distance were passenger planes, giving us a frame of reference. It seemed to be much closer yet flying much slower than the passenger planes and it was maintaining its flight trajectory. Its flight pattern seemed to be a linear hovering rather than conventional flight movement. The event duration was conducive upon the obstructed visibility of the tree line.

Huge, motionless, multicolored ball of light in tree lines.

My husband was standing out on our porch smoking and saw a huge multicolored ball looking light right above the trees. He took a picture with his phone. It is grainy however, you can see spots all around it that appear to be stars. He said the object was silent, very very bright..much bigger and brighter than the stars around it and it was multicolored. He says it stayed motionless right above the tree line for about 10 mintues. He said he could tell it was huge judging by the size of the stars around it.

Unfortunately, I was still asleep and he did not bother to wake me! I was hoping someone else saw this. The light ball thing he showed me on his phone is soooo bright! It is different than a light bulb or the sunlight! The area is near and around Clements 72 West. Also, object made No sound.

Four lights hovering over powerlines leaving graphite type substance on ground

Search Related Photos of Athens is shown trying to make sense of a substance he found on the ground near Athens Housing Wednesday.

Four perfect circles containing the graphite-like substance were found on the ground near two powerlines. A night earlier, and business owner both saw four mysterious lights stall for about 15 seconds, in front of the porch on which they were standing.

The UFO then appeared to shoot straight up at great speed, and then out of sight. The substance has been sent to a plant pathologist in Overton for evaluation.

The staff here at the Daily Planet ... uh ... Review, was working the day watch out on council meetings Wednesday morning when the phone rang.

Editor xxxxxxxx picked up the receiver, and heard the voice of one xxxxxxxxxxxx.

The editor began taking notes, as he learned of four unidentified-flying objects that the man believed had landed briefly just west of Athens Housing, located in front of the Loop 7 underpass on the east side, off U.S. Highway 175.

"Yes sir, we'll check that out," the editor promised the caller.


It was Thursday that the editor ordered this reporter to get to the bottom of this story.


"Call this guy, and see what the heck's going on. And if you go out there, don't get distracted, and stop at those phone booths that always hold you up," he said.

I told the editor that we don’t have that many phone booths anymore.

"Hello, the man carrying the voice of Mr. xxxxxxxxx said.

"Heard you spotted a UFO, sir. We're calling to the get the facts," the reporter said.

"This is really embarrassing," xxxxxxx said. "We started not to say anything about this to anybody." "Why's that, Sir?" "Everybody will think we're crazy," he said.

"Naw, naw," the reporter said, reassuringly. "Now sir, we need to get to the bottom of this. Were the eyes of the aliens green, and were they bald-headed and wrinkled? If you could just give us a quick description, Sir.

"We didn't see any faces." "I see." "We saw four lights." "Who's we?" The man nervously explained that ((female name deleted)), the owner of ((deleted)) Housing, and he were sitting on the front porch of the office smoking cigarettes when it happened late Tuesday night.

"They (the UFOs) appeared to be about 10 to 15 feet in diameter." "That's a guesstimate, I suppose? "Yes, but they looked like they were the same size as the four circles on the ground on the other side of the lot." "Circles? What kind of circles, Sir?" The man explained that it appeared four UFOs could have stopped there under the power lines.

"We're not crazy, Sir. Really. I don't believe in UFOs, and I've never had anything like this happen to me before." "Did you say it was cigarettes you were smoking?" " Yes Sir. Why?" "No reason. Just curious. So, what's your evidence, Mr. xxxxxxx?" He explained the line that made the circle felt like a soft, powdery substance, something like graphite. He said it did no damage to the bermuda grass beneath it.

Under further questioning, Ms. xxxxx and Mr. xxxxxxx explained they hadn't seen the circles on Tuesday night. What they did see, both of them individually, was four lights at close range. They too were 10 to 15 feet in diameter.

They were said to have flown around the side of the lot, making a left turn, then stopping just above another power line, where they are described as having stared at the two humans for about 15 seconds.

Either that, or it was suggested they could have been drawing more energy from the power line they were a few feet above.

"I promise you, we're not crazy," said Ms. xxxxx. "It looked like they were sitting on top of the power line, and that we scared them off." How did the UFO leave ma'am? "After they saw us, they formed a perfect diamond, and then went straight up in the air very fast and disappeared." Attempts were made to photograph the dark circles, but they're hard to see in a photograph. But they are there.

Mr. xxxxxxx scooped up some of the powdery substance, and poured it into a Land O Lakes All Natural Whipped Butter container, so people could see it better. No one at the Review wanted to touch it.

The reporter assured the couple he wouldn't make them look crazy. He, in fact, saw the same circle, felt the substance, and can verify it was there.

As for the lights, they're on their own about that. Suggestions like a car turning around with its four lights on bright, was dismissed.

More proof was needed to identify the substance. Henderson County Extension Agent xxxx xxxxxx, was called to the site to look and sniff and diagnose.

He said he thinks it's a fungus, but he sent samples of the circle dust to a plant pathologist in Overton, and expects to get results back in two or three days.

Pressed as to how a fungus could make perfectly-round circles, xxxxxx reminded the reporter that the fungus is alive.

And apparently it has the sense to make perfect, geometric circles. "It's very common," xxxxxx said.

The county extension agent didn't dismiss the two sightings by the two citizens, because he had read an article recently in the Longview paper.

"There was a sighting just about like this one recently in Longview," he said, "They saw lights, and they found marks on the ground." But xxxxxx was adamant that he was not making any evaluation of any alleged lights, and what they were all about.

"I'm just talking about stuff within my bailiwick," he said. "I'm just commenting on the lights." "I promise you we are not crazy," Ms. xxxxx said, again.

"Yes ma'am," the reporter said. "You definitely saw something, and with what happened in Longview recently, maybe somebody else can explain what has been happening in the East Texas sky recently." One thing seemed certain late Thursday evening. xxxxxx will get to the bottom of this thing.

Fast moving light streak with impossible movement

I was standing in the exit door of my garage watching a plane on approach to Huntsville International Airport, circling from the south to the north approach to the airport. As the plane banked right, approximate location was over the water towere off Menefee road, a small blue-white light appeared behind and above the aircraft that caught my eye. The light turned into three comet like blue-white lights as it accelerated in descent, approximately a 60 to 70 angle traveling north west. As it accellerated two small red lights appeared between the three blue-white lights, all five lights were in a straight line perpendicular to the flight path. The tails from the blue lights went from the beginning point I saw the light to the point it leveled out, no less than 300 feet, then slowly retracted to a single light moving away towards the North East. Very quickly its size shrank and disappeared. No sound other than the airliner overhead. There was also a plane to the! North West, looked like it may have taken off from Huntsville and swinging around towards Mempis, TN. No aircraft accelerates that fast, moves that fast or glows like that with no noise.

Ascending Orange Light

I was standing on a street corner and glanced into the Northern sky when a orange light visibly the size a of a star appeared. The light was ascending at a constant speed when suddenly two orange or yellow lights appeared above and below the first light. The light below turned and traveled directly down as the light above turned and traveled directly up--both lights disappeared simultaneously. Once the secondary lights disappeared, the first light's speed increased and it disappeared.

I was standing on our deck with my cousin and I first seen the glow of it in the sky, It was BRIGHT orange and it pulsated bright to light orange then faded away. I told her to look and it was gone. So, we sat on the deck and watched in same area and a few more showed up and faded just like before. I went and got my husband and he as well seen the same thing although they were generally in the same area they appered in different locations. They did not move just got brighter, lighter then faded away. Also, the next night we seen them again just not as many as the first night. There are no military bases and we live in the country. Has anyone else seen this before it's driving us crazy!

Solid red light moving slowly across sky, at times had white things coming off of it as if it was falling off.

My brother and I were looking at this solid red light moving very slowly across the sky. It took about 8 minutes before it disappeared. There was a few times where some white lights fell off of the red one and almost instantly disappeared. There was also a time where a piece fell off and then it turned orange and split into pieces again, then it had disappeared. At one point you can actually see an airplane fly in the same frame as the red light.

Stationary or almost stationary bright red light turns white and drops a smaller red light that moves away.

This evening, while my neighbor and I were taking the dogs for their nightly walk, we noticed a bright red light high up in the sky. It looked similar to the red lights on radio towers, it was that bright, but it was not blinking and it seemed to be stationary, or moving very slowly.

As we watched, trying to decide if it was moving by gauging its position in relation to some telephone lines, it suddenly turned very white, then a smaller red light dropped down from it. As the smaller red light dropped away, the white light disappeared, but for a few seconds both the white light above and the red light dropping away were visible. Then the white light went out and we could see nothing of it. The red light then moved away and we watched it until it passed from view.

I believe the light was high in the southeastern sky, then the red light that moved away was moving east. The whole event lasted maybe three minutes from the time we noticed the bright redlight until the smaller red one passed from view.

Bright moving light in Athens, NY

On her ride home from Coxsackie, NY my sister noticed something odd above her in the sky. She followed the bright light down the road and then said it followed her, she frantically called me at 10:30pm to tell me about this. I did not believe it, she was just crazy, it was probably an airplane. So when she got home, my brother, his girlfriend, my sister, and I went outside to see this “UFO”. We all quickly realized that my sister was right, so we decided to take my brothers girlfriend home to Coxsackie. As we drove along I took out my phone and started to record it, that is until it stopped appearing on my phone, but was still in the sky, visible to the eye. We took pictures with my sisters camera and we watched it as we went to Coxsackie.

When we got to Coxsackie however, going through the pictures on the camera we realized it was no longer visible when it was clear that it was visible at the time the pictures were taken. After dropping my brothers girlfriend off, we pulled out of her drive way and I noticed a light going down and sideways to the right, after flipping out my sister said she saw it too, we sat there dazed. Suddenly we saw two more, less bright, “ball” looking like things come from this other thing. Which the light was extremely bright and white and it was going bigger and smaller, when it got small enough and not as bright you could see the shape, more like a cresant. I thought I had recorded this on my phone but it stopped recording before we saw four more of these “lights” getting dimmer and brighter. It had looked like in “War of the Worlds” (which was oddly enough filmed in Athens, NY) during the storm the “lights” were getting shot into the ground, that is what it resembled as these things were coming down.

After realizeing there were more than one of them we headed home, my eleven year old sister extremely frantic, watched them the whole ride home. We passed the prison in Coxsackie where it was near/over then suddenly turned a corner and it was all the way on the other side of the road, ahead of us. As we neared Sleepy Hollow, which is in Athens, it started to fade, I snapped a few quick shots and it “disappeared”. Coxsackie/Athens is a very rural area, with a lot of farms and fields, woods, and water, which can be quiet creepy if you’re already freaked out.

When we arrived home my sister went online and talked to her friend, who said she and another friend of hers were outside of her house, in Sleepy Hollow, when they heard a very strange sound coming along Farm to Market Road, the very same road my sister had been driving on when she started to follow the UFO. After that her friend got a bad feeling and ran home, my sister hadn’t even told her friend about the UFO we saw or where we had seen it, making it odd and collaberating with this story. Although we didn’t hear any sound, we also didn’t listen for one. The sighting is extremely disturbing and scary for anyone to encounter, but it seemed as though the UFO was watching and following us.

Unkonwn object in the night sky emitting 4 dim lit lights in a triangular form

My boyfriend and I went to the movies at 7pm on August 25, 2008. When the show was over we walked back to the truck. As I was throwing bits of ice on him something in the sky caught my eye, and at first I thought it was a shooting star so I glanced away for a second and when I looked back up I noticed that there were 4 dim lit lights on the underneath on what looked like a triangular craft. And the craft, which was completely black, had a fine silver line that looked to be the far edge of the wing.

So I thought to myself that this would be some sort of an airplane but I noticed that there was no sound and no flashing blue/red lights. It was completely silent. My dad also asked about the space station or it being a satellite or something. No, it wasn’t because I noticed that as it passed by it covered up the stars as it was moving. It didn’t seem to be that high like a plan either, I mean, it wasn’t touching the tops of trees or anything.

So about a few seconds when I realized what I may be seeing I slapped my boyfriend on the shoulder and pointed to the sky. He saw the last 3 or 4 seconds of it but then as it got farther away it was gone.

I saw a silent orange/red pulsing light move across the sky slowly, hover, change color twice, and disgorge a smaller pulsing light.

I was working the Saturday night shift at the bar when a friend from the restaurant next door ran in and said that there was a ufo outside. He said he had seen the ufo for the last 4 nights. I was skeptical, but followed him out to the parking lot. In the sky to the southwest was a hazy ember-colored light moving slowly to the east. The light pulsed evey two seconds and was about the size of a pea held at arm's length. Two other restaurant workers joined us. We remained mostly silent in order to try to hear the object- at no point did we hear any sound. I tried to sight it on my camera phone but could not pick it up. After about a minute, the object turned white for about two seconds and then resumed its initial color. The light did not illuminate any structure such as wings or a gondola and never blinked. There was a fairly uniform overcast at about 2-3000 feet and at no point was the light obscured by the clouds. After moving east for a few minutes the object decelerated and hovered. At this point I called my wife and told her to look south. The light moved slightly to the north and then turned white again. A soon as it had turned white, a smaller orange/red evenly pulsing light dropped from the white light and descended at an even rate until it disappeared from view behind the treeline. About half a second after the small light disengaged from the larger one, the larger one vanished.

Red orb drops white orbs at night

We saw a red orb-like light in the sky. It was moving slowly like a plane, but it was much brighter. It was during 4th of July so we thought it may have been a firework, but it moved in a northerly direction without falling or fizzling out. It dropped two white orbs out of the bottom that we thought were fireworks at first, but they dropped without fizzling out and much slower than a firework would fall. The orbs continued toward the ground and then the red light kept moving for another 20-30 seconds before it disappeared. The sky was dark but clear. We did not see it again.

Reddish-orange glowing object, multiple witnesses, athens, GA, July 4th, possible UFO.

On July 4th at approximately 10p.m. me and my girlfriend saw a red glowing light in the sky moving suspiciously slow and somewhat low in the atmosphere. We observed this for close to five minutes. It did not have any differentiating lights on it besides the red glow. This caused us to wonder what it was since helicopters and planes usually have other lights distinguishing it as such. It did not make any noise.

I know of many other people who saw the same thing we did on the same night as well as witnesses to the object on different nights. There are also videos of it from different parties on youtube. They all are of the same thing, a reddish-orange glowing object.

Bright light appearing over Athens, Alabama and then winked out

On above date and time, my wife and I were standing on the back porch smoking. We were facing due south and the sky was clear and the Moon and Mars were brightly visible. Suddenly a bright light appeared in the sky, about a palms width east of the Moon and Mars. It was traveling slowly in a easterly direction. I could barely make out a saucer shape on the rt. side of the light. The light was about one and a half times the brightness of the moon. Suddenly the object took off so fast that it appeared to wink out. It was a very quiet night and there was no sound of any aircraft at the time. My wife is a RN and I am a retired Police Officer. I am 65 and this is not the first time we have witnessed a unexplained sighting. This one was not very dramatic compared to what I've seen before. Just curious if anyone else might have reported something that night.

Two mound looking shapes moving in the air above road.

Traveling 35mph on Beck's Chapel road, between Beck's Chapel Cemetery and another cemetery heading towards Cross Roads from Athens, two transparent (only reflect enough light from the high beams of my truck to she the shapes) mound looking shapes, side to side moved in a matter of split seconds to the right side of the of the road once we passed over the hill, but the tree limbs never moved. Not really sure what it is i saw, there we no lights coming from either object, and they moved so fast it's like they disappeared. The is one other witness that was in my truck with me that also see this

2 Triangular aircraft in Athens, AL

I was comming home around 6pm, and as I was pulling into my carport at the back of my house when I saw 2 triangular aircraft. I was so startled that I almost hit the carport. I stopped there and got out of my car. They were almost directly over my head and barely over the tree tops. They were moving about 10-15 mph. There were steady lights on each corner with a blinking red light in the middle. There was no sound! For an aircraft to be that low and not make any sound is amazing!

Triangle shape object moving silently passed directly over my head.

Driving a familiar route just outside of the city, around nine in the evening I noticed a light in the sky. At first sight I thought of an antenna light, but this light was much too bright.

As I approached the end of the road I was on I realized that the light was very close. I was at a "T" section where the road I was on ended at a small county road. There’s a house directly across from where I was stopped at the stop sign.

The light looked to be directly over the house. I thought it looked kind of like the house owners had installed a flood light on an antenna, but the light was much too bright it looked as if it were a couple hundred feet above the house at most.. I got out of my car to study the light. The light the slowly rose maybe another hundred feet or so stopped climbing and began to move forward towards me at a very slow rate. As the light passed directly over me I could make out the shape, it had 3 points that I could make out (like a 3 point star) with a few dimmer lights on the underside of it. The bright light that I had been seeing seemed to be on the front side of the object pointing straight ahead. The object was only a few hundred feet above me at most. There was absolutely no sound what so ever from the object.

The object continued on its course for about a minute when it suddenly changed direction and speed away at a very high rate of speed. It was out of my sight in a matter of seconds.

I am very familiar with civilian aircraft as well as many military aircraft. I have never seen anything remotely like this, or any aircraft that was so completely silent.

Craft flying very low (10 ft. above tree line) from southeast to northwest. Slow moving. Light reflected was burnt orange with blue shadow. Triangle with black extensions. Walls of home vibrated slightly but craft was silent. Electricity went out for several hours later. Helicopter followed thirty minutes later.

I was sitting in my car with the sun roof open, waiting for my wife. As I was waiting I was looking at the cloud formations because the sky was a beautiful blue and the clouds were a puffy white. I noticed a shiny, silver colored object very high. The clouds were very high also and the craft was above them. It resembled an airplane initially but as the object got near a rather large puffy cloud it dipped on one side and slid into the cloud. I watched for several minutes and it never exited the cloud. When it dipped on one side I could see that it had a plate formation below the shiny upper portion of the craft. I did not have binoculars so I cannot give an exact description but I would say it was very large, at least the size of a 747.

I had never taken UFO sightings seriously, but after seeing the unexplainable, I have no choice.

I was on break at work with a friend, just sitting at the side porch at our company entrance. As we were talking, I saw a glowing green substance or object coming horizontally in the air, just in my view over the main office building across the street.

Upon seeing, I asked my friend to take notice. We just set there and watched it go through the air until it disappeared. After discussing what in the world it could have been.

The prospects for explaining it as a shooting star or falling space debree were impossible. I promptly told my friend I was going inside and calling our local radio station to see if they were getting any calls about this sighting.....they were.(about 4-5 calls the DJ said)

The DJ is calling around different places trying to find an explanation, however he is not finding one.

I have looked through some reports of UFO sightings on reporting sights and found one explanation of a sighting that sounds like a possible match since we only had a side view. It was a sighting on August 8, 2002, in North Royalton, Ohio.

Anyway, watch the skies. There are unexplained objects flying.

11-28-04 At 6:00 pm cdt,me, my wife and my grandauther were ridind around on farm to market roads approx. 25 miles from athens tx when my wife noticed a bright light in the sky. it changed direction instantly and disappeared traveling south to north. we continued driving and began to see more lights,all flying south to north.during the next 25 minutes we saw arond 2 dozen more.they were flying at different altitudes. we stopped at a roadside rest area on hiway 31 4 miles west of malakoff tx. as we set their we seen one comeing towards the rest area flying lower than any of the other craft. it was shaped like two triangles, big ends together,with a white light at each corner. on the long ends was a red blinking light and a green blinking light.it to was flying south to north. we viewed this craft for 25 to 30 seconds before it was out of site. there was no sound. the other aircraft that flew over low enough to see any detial were all shaped like a triangle with3 white lights.in all, from 6pm cdt to 10 p we saw approx 60 aircraft flying from south to north.

11-28-04 Thank you again for your telephone call to me. It trhilled us all to know someone else had a sighting the same night we did.You said she was in lewisville, tx which is in the same direction the craft we saw would have passed over if it continued on the same path. How interesting!After our sighting of the low flying double triangle craft at malakoff,tx we came back to our home in athens and got my binoculars. As i told you we continued to see extremely heavy air traffic coming in from the south appearing to be at different alititudes.We drove toward the south then i stopped off of hiway 287 on 488, there was another aircraft coming toward us. I watched it with my binoculars. As it passed over i could clearly see a single triangle shaped aircraft with a white light on each corner and a red blinking light on the right tip.A green blinking light on the leftThe more i think about the aircraft at malakoff, if you took two of the single aircraft and connected them where there should be some kind of thrust output,then turned it sideways that would be exactly what i saw at the roadside park.I stated that the malakoff aircraft had 4 white lights, all the others had 3 lights, maybe when they docked with each other two of the lights on the rear are covered up by something.Then again maybe the single triangle aircraft were usaf stealth fighters following the aircraft i described at malakoff,tx.

Oval extreme-bright object noticed in sky while driving down road. At first thought it was a planet but quickly noticed the downward movement. Object began to get closer, larger, and brighter the more I drove. Soon object was in a still motion above trees. Then went straight up into the sky (when I turned the curve). With in seconds the object was out of eyes veiw. Best describtion would be as bright as the arch off of something you might be weilding and as large as a small house or builing.

Triangular shaped craft with three dimmly lit lights on the bottom of it and It was following something on the interstate going south.

Me and my girlfriend and our two freinds were watching a movie one night and I decided to take a smoke break. I was about half way done with my smoke and for some reason I looked straight up in the sky and just as I did I saw a very vivid triangular craft. It was very cloudy and overcast that night. The only way someone else could have seen It was if they were looking straight up. Anyway, it was a very large craft and it was moving very slowly following the interstate I-65 going south like it was following something on the Interstate. It had three distinct circular lights on the bottom of the craft which was flat. The craft was black in color. I could not say for sure how high up this thing was but If it would have been a jet It would have shook the place at that altitude. I remember hearing a lot of traffic (tractor trailers) on the interstate that were heading south. This thing whatever it was, I believe was following trucks on the interstate for some reason. Maybe Military? Transport of nuclear waste? After I spotted it I yelled at everyone to come outside and look and by that time it had dissapeared into the clouds. This thing had no flashing lights on it anywhere. Just the three dimmly lit lights on the bottom. I saw two or three aircraft in the area to the south but I never saw the craft again. Like I said it was very overcast and this thing was using the clouds as cover. The clouds were very low to the ground that night. It was only visible for about 15 seconds due to the cover of the clouds. I dont think this was a little green man ship. My thoughts are It was top secret military craft that was watching or protecting something that was being transported on the interstate in tractor trailer trucks.

the only thing you could see was 3 lights in the shape of a triangle, floating slowly over a field near some houses.

OK, THIS IS KIND OF ODD FOR ME TO BE WRITTING THIS, BECAUSE IM NOT REALLY THE KIND OF PERSON WHO BELIEVES IN UFOS, BUT THIS IS THE SECOND TIME IVE SEEN THIS THING. ONCE I SAW IT IN MY HOME TOWN, AND IT WAS NEAR THE INTERSTATE, PEOPLE WERE PULLING TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD THAT NIGHT TO LOOK AT IT. IT MOVES TOO SLOW TO BE A PLANE. I GUESS YOU COULD SAY IT MOVES MORE LIKE A BLIMP OR SOMETHING. IT DOESNT MAKE ANY NOISE, AND YOU CAN ONLY SEE 3 LIGHTS ON THE BOTTOM OF IT IN THE SHAPE OF A TRIANGLE. THE SKY WAS CRYSTAL CLEAR, BUT, STILL THE ONLY THING I COULD SEE WAS THE 3 LIGHTS IN THE SHAPE OF A TRIANGLE. I STARTED TO SLOW DOWN TO SEE IF I WAS REALLY SEEING WHAT I THOUGHT I WAS SEEING. Cylinder shaped object travelling at high rate of speed. No contrail, no sound.

My husband and I saw a cylinder-shaped object in the partly cloudy sky.

At first, I thought I was looking at an aircraft, but this object had no wings, no contrail, and no sound. It appeared to be at a very high altitude, but this is difficult to penpoint, as I don't know how large the object was. However, there was an airplane traveling from North to South at a high altitude leaving a contrail.

The object in question was travelling from east to west at what appeared to be a high velocity. It literally streaked across the sky in a matter of minutes, two a most, and then disappeared into the horizon. It reminded me of looking at a comet, but this object was moving too fast.

Background--> husband is a NASA engineer at MSFC; I am a high school biology teacher.

I am so confounded by what I saw. It fits no logical category of any flying craft that I am aware of. I am a skeptical person by nature, but I know what I saw was not an airplane.

We live in Huntsville but were in Athens visiting relatives.

I don't feel like I am in control of my life !!!!

I am not sure how to go about this. So I guess I will shoot from the hip and see where this goes. I feel that I have been repeatedly abducted throughout my life. It seems to have been getting more frequent the older I get. Before these abductions take place I get an uneasy feeling and feel as if I am going to be sick to my stomach. It's almost as if there is a field around me deliberately causing me to have these feelings. I go to sleep and sleep rather deeply during these times of uneasyness and wake up with the worst headache and body aches I have ever felt. The memories of these events seem to come in a few vague,foggy memories at a time. I remember a room that is probably the size of an average size living room 30'x 40',it's all metallic. There is a table in the middle of the room with an instrument of some kind above it. The walls of the room are a weird kind of composition because when it is touched it is like a weird soft gel like substance. I can't remember any experimants that are done to me (THANK GOD) but I do have pains in the back of my neck and genital areas. I also seem to have a strange shape on my right hand in the shape of a triangle that is composed of three little dots and sometimes my hand will have a pain in the area where this shape is at. I don't know if anyone will believe me but I am telling the truth. I don't know how to stop this. I feel like I am not in control of my life here. CAn someone please give me some advice on this.

Black Triangle in athens Ga 3 in the morning moving slowly in a south eastern direction over mckey court Athens GA

I was outside my house on Mckey court, Athens, Ga at about 3 in the morning I dont remember the date pretty sure it was in Fall 2001.I was smoking a cigarette on the back porch when I heard a very low frequency droning sound. I looked up and saw a red light begin to appear from over the roof. I am not sure how high this thing was but I looked huge it covered the whole sky over head . If it were an aircraft it would have fallen out of the sky,

As it moved overhead in a southeastern direction very slowly. I could see that it was triangle shaped and had large red lights at each tip of the triangle and one in the middle. It made no sound accept for the very low pitch droning. Seriously it was almost inaudible. It made its way overhead and I could see the back end of it had three red lights like the ones in the bottom on the rear of it. The lights glowed red like the moon on a lunar eclipse or like the plasma engines in star trek really weird. that’s about it i! t moved really slowly went past the tree line and out of sight. I don’t have and photo’s or anything but I can draw it and send it in an email or something.

We saw a light in the night sky which appeared to be a satellite, but was moving much too fast.

First of all let me say this. I love to watch those UFO shown on Discovery and TLC. But I do so for entertainment purposes. I think, or thought, the whole UFO thing was a bunch of bunk. But last night I saw something that was truly unknown to me. I was standing outside a ham radio friend's house and we were talking about amateur satellites. There were four of us in this group. A kid in the group started pointing out constelations. When I started looking at what he was pointing out, I noticed what I thought was a satellite. It appeared to be a star which was moving from south to north, and it tracked almost straight overhead. It looked just like a low orbit satellite (I've seen many of those before) but it was moving much too fast. A low orbit satellite would take about 10 minutes to track across the night sky. This object took under a minute. There were no flashing lights or sounds associated with this object. In fact, I told the others it was probably a satellite, but I later decided that it couldn't have been. Then I thought it could have been a piece of space junk entering the earth's atmosphere, but this object left no trail or flaming debris. I have ruled out in my mind all the possibilities. As much as I hate to admit it, I have seen an Unidentified Flying Object. If you guys know what this light could have been, I would love to hear back from you. I'm all out of explanations.

Witnessed silvery white cylinder travel across sky and then vanish.

I am employed by the ((deleted)) Corporation as a HVAC service engineer and systems specialist with 35 years of feild experiance. The sky was bright and clear with high wispy clouds.I was on the roof of"O"Bliness Memorial Hospital in Athens Ohio working on a large water chiller.Out of the corner of my eye i noticed a silvery white object moving slowly across the sky directly overhead.At first I though it was a jumbo jet but on closer observation it was cynlindrical in shape.There were no wings,tail assembly,contrail or sound. At mid point on either side of the body was a half circle of light grey hase that was tranparent to the bright sky.A wedge shaped area of the same colored hase was at the posterior end of the cylinder.It was moving East to West in a dead straight line.I observed it for approximately 30 sscs. to 1 plus minutes across a 20 degrees arc of sky,horizon to horizon.I carry a small 6 in. pocket rule.While holding it at arms length above my head I measured the body at approximately 1 inch long.While taking this measurement the cylinder vanished!Its altitude could have been 3,000 to 6,000 feet. The u.f.o. was alinged with 7 lights that mad a triangle with out a botom. I lost sight of it when i reached Athens city.

I was going down st. rt. 33 east , inbetween Athens and Shade . I happend to look up and saw 7 lights aranged in a triangular shape without a botom line . I don't really know if any other cars saw this , but i know that i saw this and it wasn't my imagination.the lights did not change collors they stayed a bright white collor. the object stayed in one steady path , and i lost sight of it when i reached athens city.

The object moved from the southwest toward the northeast for about 10 seconds than then shot off into the northeast but also toward higer altitude at an amazing speed. Fishing in evening w/ friend, disk appeared slowly over tree line above us and lowered over river and followed river until out of sight

A high school buddy and I went fishing on the Des Moines River near Athens, Missouri, while I was back from college. We got there around 7 pm and fished until the event. This occurred in or around Aug of 1994. We were having no luck and getting bored. We were not drinking or using drugs. At some point as it was getting or just got dark we became aware of a large disk-shaped craft moving overhead of us coming over the treeline. The disk then lowered itself below the treeline (@25-30') over the river. We stared stunned and didn't speak. It may have been closer than 200' away when overhead at its closest. At the time it transitioned from directly overhead to lower than the trees it was nearly still. It was large - maybe 50' across by 20' high, and there was a row of multi-colored lights. There was the faintest of hums. Everything got eerily silent. We watched and then "rubber-necked" it until out of sight. We watched it slowly meander along the very crooked Des Moines River. Once out of sight, we started talking to each other. This went on until a jet fighter streaked overhead in the direction the craft traveled. He speculated it came from Fort Madison, IA. I have no idea if that is true. I also am unsure of the exact date or time...close though. I do know that he made me promise not to talk about it. I kinda wanted to. He said he didn't want people to think he was crazy. He would live in Kahoka his entire life, whereas, I would move away. We never spoke again about it until 3 years ago (nearly 27 later). The problem for him is that we were so close to it, that we knew it had to be either an alien craft or a super top-secret craft of ours. We couldn't say it was some far-off light acting strange and dismiss it. At the time I was positive an alien craft....

In the night sky we noticed three hovering objects with white lights in their underbellies; they moved slowly in different directions.

Four of us (roommates) lived in a house off Newton Bridge Road. One night in fall of 1992 one of us went out into the yard to pee and then came back inside and told everyone to come check this out. It was a clear night. Four of us gathered in our yard and looked at three white lights that were hanging and slowly moving in the sky. It was too dark to identify the objects, but it was obvious from the way the lights shined that they were white lights mounted on the bottoms of each craft. That is, the light defracted downward and not upward. The lights shined steadily, more like a downward pointing flashlight than any sort of moving searchlight. There were no other lights on them except that one white one. There was a football game going on at the University's Sanford stadium, which was about four miles south-southeast of us, so our assumption was that they were blimps flying above the football stadium. They didn't really stay in one spot like blimps would do, though. We first saw them in the south sky, but they began to move over us and then to the north and to the west. They moved individually, pretty much operating in different directions. They way they behaved made us wonder if they were police helicopters involved in a manhunt. We watched them for a while. A couple of us got bored and went back inside. At first they didn't move very fast. But once they'd each migrated to different parts of the sky they went away rather quickly. It was hard to sustain any assumption about a manhunt with helicopters because we never heard any noise except once in a while the distant cheers and announcer from the football game. It was a clear, cold night in a somewhat rural area, where sound carries pretty well, but again we didn't hear any engine or rotor noise even though these things passed almost above us as they went into the northern and western sky.

As I've said elsewhere in this report, this happened in 1992 -- there was no such thing as drones back then. And though I'd just gotten out of the Air Force I couldn't match what I saw to any sort of military craft that I knew of. Anyway, there was no military installation nearby except Robbins AFB, about 100 miles south-southwest of there. And though I'm an engineer who's fond of scientific explanations I've yet to even form a good guess about what we saw that night.

During the summer of 1980, my cousins & I were watching Miami Vice. We lived under a flight path of Wright Patterson Air Force base. Not unusual to see jets flying low over our home. This night however, a very bright light shined into our windows.

We all went outside to see what this was. It was the largest thing I've ever saw. Disc shaped with what now I would call blue white light coming from it. It made no sound at all. It just hung in the air like it was suspended. I do not know how long it was there? It finally moved so quickly that it bent over very large old trees, moved with speeds so quickly that we knew this was not a air force vehicle. The speed at which it moved is unheard of, and the way it turned sideways in the sky was not like any plane, helicopter, or anything else we see in the sky daily. This thing was the size of 4 football fields, made no sound at all, and was still as of it were hanging in the sky.

None of us ever reported this to! anyone d/t the backlash of reporting such things. I was a kid when this happened, and now a adult. This was very frightening, and continues to be one of the most frightening experience I've ever encountered. The light coming from it did stop. Now thinking back on this event the light reminded me of what we call blue florescent light now.

At the time, I remember thinking it was extremely bright. It was still visible due to its enormous size, & outdoor lighting. None of us spoke about this the following day which I find very strange. I only remembered it as a adult having a dream.

I called family members to ask if this is what we saw, and they confirmed it. There were 5 children, and why we didn't remember this, or talk about it afterwards is very unsettling to me.

I saw light moving, in my experience in an inexplicable manner, then at incredible speed disappearing into the sky at near verticle.

Clear night sky, no weather. Driving through Athens, Texas; Tyler toward Waco, left turn. At turn to left was church and just above saw green and red light, round but undefined, moving randomly.

Because of the unique nature of the light, I pulled to the side of the road to observe, thought the light may be from helicopter but realized the movement was to fast and to mobile. The light moved as a spot light would on the bottom of clouds with random movement but there were no clouds and the lights appeared autonomous. There were no beams associated either.

Then instantly the light moved at a high speed, just off vertical (greater than f-16 climb rate by factor of 8-10) and apparent size diminished to the vanishing point.

US Airforce plane moving very low and and very slow, surrounded by round disk and making no sound.

UFO SIGHTING, EARLY 1970’S ATHENS, TWP, PA, WOLCOTT HOLLOW ROAD This take place in the early 1970’s while I was at my grandparents’ home on Wolcott Hollo Road, in Athens Township PA. These were my stepfather’s parents. Their names were XXXX and XXXXXXX MXXXXX.

It was mid-summer, and I was walking up the hill, (a pasture) across from the house. I was with my Uncle Jim, my stepfathers’ younger brother. While walking up the hill, something caught our attention, causing us to turn around.

When we did, we had a perfect clear view of what we were seeing, as it was very low, only about 50 to 75 ft off the ground. As it went over the house, I thought I could have thrown a ball and hit it, as it was that close.

What we were seeing was a shiny silver aircraft with the US Air Force symbol on the side. The props were not turning and I don't believe the engines were running. On both sides of the plane and to the front and rear of the Aircraft, were round disk. Above the plane, was a single disk.

Also, there seemed to be a shimmer, something like what you see when you see the heat rising from a hot road. That’s what it looked like between the disk and the aircraft.

There was no sound whatsoever, and they were moving very slow. There was, still is, a hilltop on either side of the area. So, it’s like they were going below the hill tops, following the valley they made.

At the time, I only knew it as a shiny silver plane, it was later that I knew it was a B 17.

At the time we seen this, my uncle was visibly nervous. He told me to never say anything about what we had seen. He told me that if I did, something bad could happen. So, I never said anything to anyone, except my wife years later.

I am now 56 years old, a combat veteran, and I have seen other things I have kept quiet about. I think it’s time I share what we had seen.

One bright red curcular object descended and hovered about 1000 feet over the screen of a drive-in movie. It remained for about three minutes and then took off at great speed to the NW from which direction it had come. There were no blinking lights or contrails.

On a country highway at night I saw two white lights in a field to the right tracking me, which then sped off at incredibly high speed.

On a country highway at night in 1969 I saw two white lights in an empty field to the right tracking me, which then sped off at incredibly high speed. I was a student at Georgia Tech in Atlanta at the time, on the way to visit my fiance at the University of Georgia in Athens. At first I thought the two white lights were helicopters flying in formation in the field on the right side of the road a few hundred yards away and a few hundred feet above the ground. They seemed to be following me in parallel, matching my speed of about 50 mph. Then after less than half a minute all of a sudden their path zoomed up and away at incredible speed. That's when I knew they were not helicopters, or any other type of conventional aircraft. It was a long time ago. I was about 20 then, and now I am 77. It is the kind of thing one does not forget. My life went on with career and family, occasionally mentioning this experience to family or friends when the subject of UFOs came up. But I never dwelled on it much, just knowing that "they are out there," as they say. I recently happened to see "Investigation Alien" on Netflix and was reminded again of this long ago experience. So I thought to submit this account for whatever it might be worth.

PS: I had a second UFO experience a few years later while on the beach with a friend on a clear night in Neptune Beach, Florida. We were looking at the stars above and both noticed a star quickly move several times making right angle turns like no star, aircraft or satellite could. It was not as dramatic as the Georgia experience years before, which was quite up close and personal, but two of us saw the moving star, saying to each other "Did you see that?!", confirming we had indeed seen something unusual.
