Several glowing, moving objects

Tonight, About 20:12 , 2025-01-12, over Leesburg FL, we saw about twenty objects, moving east to west at about 20 degrees per minute, some at different speeds. They were scattered in a band about 20 deg, some moving faster than others. Most, but not all, seemed to flicker and disappear into clouds, some disappeared or burned out in clear sky. They were all similar brightness magnitude -3. They were orange red, but not as red as a SpaceX plume. No tail. Far brighter than the strings of SpaceX satellites lit by sunlight. These resemble rockets launched, but rockets that are going to orbit are launched to the east. If they were rockets, they had multiple destinations. I notified our local astronomy organization and one other observer saw them from Casselberry FL.

We were just getting up for our morning jog and my wife and I spotted 7 bright white orbs headed towards Mount Weather

We saw 7 bright orbs that we tried to record but both of our phone batteries died even though we had fully charged them overnight. We noticed the orbs doing what looked like formations just south of Leesburg. These formations would vary and they maintained brightness while they changed positions. The orbs could not have been airplanes since we checked flight radar later that day after recharging our phones, also Dullus airport is Southwest of where we viewed these. We watched as we continued to jog and they remained when we got back home. About 4 hours after the initial sighting which was close to 9am at this point we saw them glow brighter before taking off in the direction of Mount weather, although we do not know that's where they went just that they went that direction.

Saw object two nights in a row

I drove down State Road 7 and noticed the object outside of Leesburg VA. It was high in the sky. Watched as I drove for about 20 minutes on my way to Winchestee VA. I stopped halfway though to record it. It hovered high in the sky, moving slightly but not much. It was in the same location the night before. I noticed it then because there wasn't a star in the sky except this extremely bright light. Second night, it was more intense and I then saw the lights blinking. Then I saw a second one that moved around much more in the distance. Same shape and lights. What I thought was super weird was that I could see it for MANY MANY MILES. Seemed to never move away from my sight. Any fixed object or plane wouldn't have been visible like that for so long as I drove down SR 7. Too high to be a light from a structure and didn't move like a plane would. Just seemed to be stationary.

Orange sphere across sky

While launching fireworks on 7/4 my family and I saw a bright orange sphere start low on horizon and initially we thought it was fireworks but the object slowly crawled across sky heading from the southwest to the northeast and at one point it slowed down and angled to the east. There is no way it was a firework as it covered miles across the sky as it moved slowly across the sky. It was very large and appeared to be at least 15-30k feet in the sky, too high for even commercial fireworks. We also considered it to be an asteroid but the object didnt leave any trails and at one point seemed like it slowed down and changed direction from a NE heading to an E heading. It looked like an orb surrounded by a bright glowing flame looking glow.

It was hovering in the sky and it was silent but soon as I pulled my phone out to record it picked up the signal of the orb for about 45 seconds until it started to go away in the sky and once it went away the orb started to get small and turn white like a star and then disappeared in the sky of the night I swear my phone has never made this sound before EVER until I caught this sighting it picked up a signal from it on my phone and a lot might think this is a joke who is reading this but I got it all on video as well I seen with my own two naked sober eyes

Blinking but sporadic

I was standing outside last night around 630 PM, but it has been many nights now on and off. I see these light on occasion. I notice all of the Police drones and airplanes because I'm right next door to a private airport. The airport has a helicopter for a hospital or for the military right there as well. I'm right next door to state Police building and a National Gaurd base. Also, down the street, is where the Sheriff's park their vehicles and a jail is located down there as well. I've been noticing these strange blinking lights in the sky. They appear to be almost metaphysical the way they blink. I've noticed them on other videos on YouTube in suspect sky videos. It's a moving craft but that blinks like an airplane, but it's the way it blinks that's impossible. It's completely impossible for humans. I've noticed them following me from McClean Virginia to Leesburg. I've had wierd events happen to me now with serious winds and strange darkness fall upon me at random times. I have proof of finding ancient pieces of the comet that killed the dinosaurs and perfectly preserved dinosaur bones and possible alien artifacts. I was driven off the road by total strangers at 70 mph into a ditch only two weeks ago. All my money was stolen out of my account at the same time. Now I'm surround by Police and Military who are sending up there own craft to confuse me. Theirs a big difference in the UFOs and the man-made craft. The Police and National Gaurd are trying to mimic the Alien craft to confuse me. This is not a hoax. I have the rocks and dinosaur bones to prove I'm telling the truth. My car is totaled. Some fanatic tried to murder me for no reason. I think it might have to do with the blinking lights. The UFOs have shot laser shows close to me in McClean. Impossible for humans to do. Spinning laser lights. They are up there right now. Look for impossible blinking. Those are UFOs. The Police and military are trying to cover it up by flying craft with blinking lights near the UFOs. That's because they know those are alien lights. Look up especially on clear nights. You will probably see them. You will see the Police trying to cover it up. They are here and I think they are dangerous.

A large dark triangular aircraft flying slowly overhead in Leesburg, FL at 7am on a Saturday

On Saturday morning, June 19, 2021, around 7am, I was standing out in my driveway and heard an aircraft approaching from the East going West directly overhead. I stood and watched it come into view.

It looked dark, probably not dark gray, but more black, was triangular in shape with there being two projecting structures out the back area. I thought F-117 Nighthawk but then wondered could it have been an F-22 Raptor? It really didn't look exactly like those aircraft so I wondered maybe some new stealth aircraft. If not a stealth aircraft, unidentified flying object.

I didn't see a projecting front part of the aircraft like I see in the F-22. I didn't see any flashing lights. It had a sound that wasn't like a typical aircraft and it seemed to lumber across the sky .

I am in Leesburg, Florida where we have a lot of aircraft overhead every day. But, nothing like this!

7 white lights in formation travelling West to East in night sky.

At 2115 hrs on 30 April 2020, I went outside to walk the dog and looked up to see seven lights travelling West to East (approximately) over Leesburg, Florida. In the space of a minute they faded from sight to the East, in procession. There may have been more before I looked up, as the farthermost light to the East was quick to disappear.

The first six lights were in a line, the last was initially slightly behind and to one side, but by the time they disappeared it had caught up with the last light in line. Their brightness was less than Venus but probably slightly brighter than Sirius. It was not possible to assess the height or size of the UFOs

Bright light with vapor trails over Central Florida early am 06/29/18

Very bright light solid not pulsing like the airplanes in the sky. Was flying on a perpendicular path to the Orlando flight path. Smaller less intense light broke off and flew in a downward direction. It left off-shaped vapor trails that were also bright not sure if it was from the sunrise hitting them or not but other clouds were not as bright. Flew behind other clouds and was bright enough to still see. Passed beyond my sight on the horizon in a couple minutes.

Two adult females traveling northbound on VA Route 621 witnessed a bright green spherical object, seemingly fire-based, traveling rapidly downards with slight westward arc. Movement could be described as "shooting downwards." Knowledge of where, or if, the object made contact with the ground was unclear, as the vehicle had approached a wooded area and the object was no longer visible. Although impossible to determine size, was substantially larger than a shooting star and appeared much closer both to the individuals witnessing and to the ground. There was no apparent sound.

There were several planes in the general vicinity, (the closet was slightly further west and traveling northbound), due to proximity to two airports within a 12 mile radius of driver and passenger in vehicle (The Leesburg executive airport and Dulles International airport.)

Within ten minutes several helicopters had been heard by three adults, and confirmed by several social med! ia comments of people in the area.

I was checking traps in the swamp by my home. I was walking a game trail when went around a big oak tree. After I walked around the tree it was all of sudden almost dark. Like and hour went by in a second of time. The ground starting almost pulsating or coming to life. Everything around me was glowing from the sphere like object in the trees. The object was translucent and seemed alive somehow. It had a golden glow inside and out. It hovered over the line and then slower ascended overhead. Within a few seconds the sphere completely vanished like instantly. I was terrified to say the least and haven't ever spoken of this till just recently when a friend told me he had seen something similar as a child. Cluster of orange lights on east coast between Baltimore and Washington

We (2 people, 53 and 17) saw a cluster of orange lights. Four or five were very close together and could be covered by two fingers held at arms length. One was lower in the sky about 4 fingers width. And two or three others were within a hand width of the main cluster. They were at a bearing of about 80 degrees from my zip code and roughly 20 to 25 degrees above the horizon. I am an engineer.

I have seen numerous planes lined up to approach a large airport (like Las Vegas or Dulles) and this formation did not resemble anything like that. In addition they were gone when I stopped the car at home 90 seconds later to get a better look. They all appeared roughly stationary. I was driving our car east and was near home. Once I got home, I hurried to get some binoculars and ran upstairs and they had all disappeared except one and it faded shortly after I found it in the binoculars. I have never seen lights I could not explain and I believe these must have been military, but I have no idea what they were since they didn't have the light characteristics of a helicopter and were too stationary for planes. I expected to find an explanation in the news this morning and reports of other people seeing the same thing, but when I didn't, I was surprised and decided to post the sighting here. As an engineer with a technical background in physics I believe visits from a foreign world are impossible to our planet. These had an earthly origin, but I have no idea what it was.

Using the weather.com app my Husband noticed a very large doughnut shaped white object covering a massive area within the storm over Macon GA. I immediately picked up my tablet and using the same weather app found the same doughnut like object hovering over Jacksonville FL. It was the same shape and size and made it from Macon to Jacksonville within 10 minutes. Within the frames of radar images it looked as if it were sending out waves or a pulse.

16+ Orange Blumes in scatter straight line moving from the northwest to southeast

After returning froma Thanksgiving dinner, in the south eastern sky, approx 16 orange blums were seen in a scatter straight line formation, moving fromthe northwest to southeast.

Large, unknown silver object near Dulles - stationary

On 11/11/12 I was driving to work in Leesburg, Va. At approximately 3:50pm, I noticed as I was looking towards Dulles Airport, what appeared to be at first glance a 747 headed towards dulles to land.

As I continued to look, I noticed 2 things. I thought it was too large to be a 747 and that it wasn't moving. I had to take the Lansdowne Blvd. exit within about 30 seconds of spotting the object and when I searched again after getting off the exit, I couldn't see it due to the trees and buildings blocking that area. I was able to grab my camera and take a photo at full zoom. I'm sure with some analysis it can be determined if it is a 747. The only alternatives I can think of are a blimp or balloon, though in my own mind, I don't think so.It was gray, shiny and metallic looking.

If anyome else saw this, I'd love to know.I'll look for more posts.

03/05/12 Large green streak of light over Leesburg Virginia, perhaps a meteor.

My family went on a walk after dinner and we thought it was a shooting star but it was much closer and larger, it was a large green streak going from east to west travelling almost horizontally but heading south(but not a flare and not like a missile you see on news coverage) with a larger concentration at the head of it (perhaps a fireball) and we assumed it was a meteor instead of a falling star, due to its volume...we use to live on the prairie in Canada and saw falling stars all the time, but this was quite large....and beautiful..sadly we saw no other reports of any meteors falling but we could only imagine when this one landed someone would know about it.

3 rapidly blinking (shimmering) lights in formation

While outside I noticed a rapidly blinking object, about the size of a star (to show how high it must have been). There werent really any colors, it was rapidly blinking, much like a crystal in the light, sparkling.

While looking at this one for about 1 minute later I saw another and another, three of them in formation moving parallel with one another in formation all blinking the same way, but NOT at the same time.

Once I saw 3 of them in perfect formation I called my friend out to observe them, the clouds were coming and had covered up the furthest one (or the one on the bottom of the formation) but she saw 2 of them in formation.

She insisted they were planes simply in formation, but as they went by we saw a plane very high up as well and could easily be identified as one.

Then we watched until the other 2 had gone into the cloud as well, we waited and waited for about 15 minutes because there was just one large cloud and then a clearing but after I had w! aited for another 20 minutes I had realized that they were gone.

Background of Observers - Both college students, no alocohol or drugs, no criminal background.

Space station or Space craft?

So tonight I went out to smoke as usual and I always look at the stars since I was a kid, tonight when I looked up I seen a light with a tiny red tail. I rushed in to get my mother and she seen it went back inside, then I went back out to see if it was falling. I noticed it started to go back and forth side to side but it looked like only inch's where I was seeing it from. After that I seen it kinda light up and the red tail turned a green and there was what looked like a > math sign, greater than. It turned from green to red, I only have one contact in but I watched with one eye. so I ran to get my sister and she saw it, went back in and I goggled it. Said something about over breavard county Florida the space station could be seen but there was no date. So I am wondering is it the space station a UFO, God? I believe its still out there, its south south east, dropping below the tree lines, but it is still bright, soooo did I see one?

Two large glowing amber/dark orangish colored circular disks-not a sound-

It happened during the evening. It was quite cloudy, but as the clouds moved through the sky, you could get a perfect glimpse of the clear sky with all the beautiful stars behind clouds. I was with my friend, she was driving that night, we were in her car when we say what we saw. We drove to Leesburg and parked outside of an appartment complex, waiting for a friend to come out of their house. The sunroof of the car was open. As we waited, I gazed up at the sky, admiring the stars. I even said, "I love looking at the stars". Right after I said that, my friend leaned back to stargaze with me. It was cloudy, as I said, but the clouds were thick and moving quickly over the sky, and through patches of the clouds we could see the clear sky perfectly. The incident happened seconds after my friend leaned back to look at the stars with me, through the car sunroof. Then these two amber/orangish circular things came out of the clouds on one side, crossed over! each other where the sky was clear, then separated again above the thick clouds. They were pretty big. They didn't make a single sound. My friend and I were speechless. It was so intense that my friend denied seeing anything and got very upset with me as I was very excited and repeatedly asked "did you see that?! Oh my God! You had to have seen that!" She refused to admit she saw what we did. She became very quiet and dropped me off at my house. It was very strange and out of character for her. I came down to tell my parents about it. My mother said, "oh it's the military." There is no way these objects were military. The way they moved through the air was out of this world, They way they maneuvered through the air, it seemed as if they were playing with each other or something. The way they crossed over each other. I know what I saw. I will be haunted by it for the rest of my life. Later my friend admitted she had seen it too. That is how intense this sighting was. My friend couldn't even come to terms with what we! saw. I t scared her. It was quite the experience. Now I know there is something else out there other than us. I wasn't scared by this sighting though. It seemed as though these glowing objects were playing with each other. The crafts did not make a single noise! Not a hum, nothing. And I know there is no way we have the technology, top secret or not, that can move like that. My friend and I would be more than happy to tell you about it. I could describe it perfectly and draw a picture to and show exactly how it happened. We are positive this was not human, or at least not from here. I never believed in "Aliens" visiting Earth. I always figured there was other life out there, but not like this. Now I know.

Object with cone shaped tail rises above Dulles Virginia

In the mostly-clear, east by southeastern sky about 60 degrees above the horizon, my daughter and I saw a bright white object emitting a hollow cone of light as it appeared to be rising vertically at a very high altitude. The object was in the general vicinity of Dulles Airport, but appeared to be much too high, much too bright, and moving in the wrong direction to be airplane landing lights. In addition, the lights disappeared from sight vertically.

The object was only about 10-15 degrees away from a planet we believe to be Jupiter, and we noted its relative size and brightness to be similar to slightly larger than that of Jupiter.

A massive cone of white light first appeared below the object, then brightened and grew in size as the object rose vertically. The object and its' cone of white light disappeared from view after 15-20 seconds. We estimated the cone of light to have reached a length 30 times the size of the object and was brighter than any manmade light we have ever seen, with the exception of a Cape Canaveral rocket launch. There was no sound.

Pinpoint flash of light in stationary position four times, fifth flash off to the east then it was gone.

My husband and I were standing out on the carport watching the sky. I was facing him (facing North) and he was facing South. He called my attention to something that flashed in the sky. I turned around and didn't see anything at first but kept watching because my husband told me to just wait that it was flashing at intervals (roughly one minute). I kept watching where he told me to look (we used two stars in the sky to locate it) and I caught the flash. It wasn't something "twinkling", it wasn't going off quickly enough to be considered a blink, it was just like a pinpoint flash. It didn't illuminate the sky around it. I know it sounds idiotic (and I'm not saying this is what is was) but the best way I could describe it is if someone was setting off a flash bulb really, really high in the sky. I kept standing there and watching in the exact same location and in about a minute it flashed again in the exact same spot. Sure enough within another minute it flashed again, in the exact same spot. It didn't move a single inch because as I said, we were using two stars to guide off of with the location. The last and final flash was to the left of the stars and then we didn't see it again. It flashed very brilliantly each time we saw it, the last flash that was off to the east of the spot it was initially holding position in was just as intense as the others. It was just a very bright white flash. The light didn't reach the ground or anything it just looked like a star flashing really intensely at one minute intervals from really far up in the sky. The final flash we saw, as I stated before, was not in the position it initially was and after that we didn't see it anymore although we were both keeping our eyes on the area we saw the flashes in. The final flash was far enough from the first ones that it couldn't have been a "star" moving. If it would have stayed lit up, the distance it was with the last flash, you could have definitely detected noticeable movemenet. But since it didn't stay lit, an! d we did n't see it move, we just saw that it HAD moved pretty far from its first location. There were no clouds, it was clear and we had a half moon that wasn't visible because it was low on the horizon. We didn't see or hear any planes or helicopters and the flash seemed to be coming from so high up a plane or helicopter wouldn't be at that altitude anyway. It looked like a star (as bright as Venus) would light up for a split second then go back out only to light up again about a minute later. I know my report was redundant as far as the descriptions, but I want to make sure what we saw is understood as a single light and not an affective "flash" although that is what we would call it. I also want to make it clear that it moved far enough from its original location that there is no way it could have possibly been a planet or star. The location of both areas were in the same field of vision range.

large bright light with orange glow around outside silently flew @ treetop level S.W.of hghwy 19S.

I was taking my dogs outside for a break and was standing on the road in front of my house when I felt like I should look behind me,my dogs suddenly ran out of the darkness and set on my feet. I looked behind me and saw a brilliantly lighted object crossing the night sky just above the tree tops. The center was a radiant white light, the outside ring had an orange color. There was no sound. The object moved smoothly, quickly and silently across the sky. It moved in a S.W. direction from highway 19 S.,it appeared to be about 300 feet away and it appeared to be bigger than---I don't know--bigger than a helicopter--it disappeared behind the trees.

Fast moving object seen in Leesburg Ga that does not resemble anything known.

A bar approximately the width of my pinky finger appeared between the constellation of Orion and Taurus. It appeared to be self laminated and moving rapidly towards Andromeda before fading out of sight. It had no blinking lights as an airplane would.

In my opinion the speed of the object coupled with the fact that its shape never changed and the time in which it appeared rules out birds or animals capable of flight.

I have been a keen watcher of the sky for many years and have NEVER seen anything like this in my entire life!

The object was only in view for approximately 5 seconds.

Bright light appearing out of nowhere and speeding off

My wife and I were sitting in our driveway looking at the Waxing Crescent in the Western sky. To the low-right of the Moon, in the North/North-Western sky, a light suddenly came into sight and proceeded to get brighter and brighter. The light was yellow,orange and white in color.

At first, it looked like the lights of an oncoming aircraft heading directly towards us (Eastward), but the light, at its brightest point, suddenly moved in a Northern direction at a very high rate of speed and eventually faded out of sight. It's as if it just appeared out of thin air and shot off. Quite amazing! The whole thing took place in about 20 seconds.

Sharp turns and zig zags with this light

Could anyone confirm the possibility of a satellite going overhead in the hours past midnight? We have seen this "object" twice and it seems to be as far up as a satellite, it moves just as fast, but it will zigzag or suddenly turn at right angles. There's no flashing lights and it's at an altitude much higher than even a military aircraft...like I asked before, it seems to be at the same altitude as a satellite but I don't think a satellite can make turns that quickly or move side to side as it's tracking across the sky. The first time we saw it was the night of the Perseud meteor shower and then again about two weeks later. It came from due north and was moving towards the south but when it got almost directly overhead, it took a sharp turn to the southeast. The second time we saw it, it stayed on a "straight" course but started to zig zag very rapidly for about two or three minutes. Once again, there are no flashing lights on it and it looks to be very, VERY high up. It's about the same size of any average, very bright star in the night sky and we've only noticed it (twice) in the wee hours of the morning. We also noticed an unusually high amount of commercial or military aircraft flying around in the sky on the very same night we saw it the first time. We're avid stargazers and love to be outside at night and the number of aircraft in the area just didn't look right to us.

What could it be?

5 to 6 round lights converging into one object that disappeared and then reappeared as one shortly thereafter only to disappear again

A friend and I witnessed about 5 to 6 bright orange lights above a tree line. The lights just seemed to appear out of nowhere. They flashed from orange to yellow to white, almost like the afterburner of a jet. We could then faintly see the outline of the object, which appeared to be either cigar-like or saucer-like. Upon lighting up after a few seconds, they then converged symmetrically into one object, which seemed to fade away in the distance. Approximately 10 to 15 seconds later, the object reappeared in the same exact spot, but only as one bright orange/yellow/white light. Then it just faded away again.

strange leesburg aircraft? comet?

Well me and my friend were skating to his house and i seend something in the sky.It seemed like a comet cause it didnt seem to be moving wasnt a plane cause no light flashing and had a tail like trail like a comet.I told him to look and it was gone.It left out of nowhere it was like it wasnt even there.Then on the way to his house on the trail he notices it! just sitting there not moving with the same light trail.I know it couldnt be a meteor cause they go really fast.If you have seen the Hailbop comet (think thats the name),thats exaclty what it looked like.Also again it was gone within a matter of seconds this time it stayed a little longer but was gone with the clouds.It wasnt a plane and im positive nor a meteor.Im certain this was some kind of aircraft not saying was a ufo,but if it was a plane it would have made some kind of noise it was plain silent and really close.There were tho an odd about of planes around the area tho as if they were checking out what this thing was!I hope someone else has seen it and will post about it here.Me and my friend are still wondering what it was.Maybe we will never know.

Very bright flash with a tail seen in the night sky on Oct. 31, 2005 between 21:00 and 21:30 over Leesburg, VA.

Basically, sometime between 21:00 and 21:30 on October 31, 2005, a bright flash with a tail was witnessed over Leesburg in Loudoun County, Virginia.

I personally did see the flash, which was a very bright white/blue in color. I didn't think much of it at the time and didn't think to report it to anyone.

I heard about it being discussed on the radio this morning as others have seen it and some called the FAA to let them know.

It was supposedly brightest over Leesburg, but visible from as far away as the Fairfax County Parkway, which is about 15 miles away.

(Hopefully with some people reporting the incident, there will be some records of this event.)

My understanding is as of now, the FAA is explaining this as some type of fireball. (?)

Me and my mother witnessed this craft for a very brief period of time. It appeared to be a fireball in the sky, as we were driving North on hwy 44, going towards Eustis, I glimpsed over to the East of the Van, and witnessed this bright orange glow, it was way too big to be any typical aircraft, or an explosion. There was no sound, and I'm very sure that this was not a weather balloon, or anything of the sorts. I immediatly got my mothers attention, and she saw the same thing that I was seeing, so I'm very sure we weren't hallucinating.

Large aircraft was ascending and emitted bright white trail of smoke that stayed luminated for 45 minutes.

Wittnessed "large airplane" that was flying from south to north over Virginia State Route 7 at a height above the road as if it had just "taken off" from the Dulles International Airport. I was traveling in a vehicle east on 7 and it looked like a large airplane "climbing" gradually.I would describe it as a fat,lit cigar. Front was dark & tapered like a big, fat cigar, back orange cylindrical glow & bright white trail of smoke in backwards "S" shape. Time was 5:50 AM & I watched it "ascend" slowly by until I turned onto the Dulles Greenway at Leesburg, Virginia. Did not think anything of it really at the time. I thought the sun was coming up & hitting the smoke so that it illuminated it bright white. It wasn't until the radio announcer on Station 94.7 FM broadcasted that the phones were ringing off the hook with people calling about what the "white fireworks" were in the eastern sky. Then as I got closer to Washington, DC (time 6:15 AM)and tuned to 1500 AM on the radio that calls were coming in from all over asking them what the great white streak was in the eastern sky. That's when I began thinking about a few peculiararities I had not thought while watching it fly over. 1) very large 2) bright white smoke & the sun had not risen yet AND when it did it was orange not white 3) don't usually see orange glow at rear of plane, except what I would describe as having seen on "rear end" shots of the US Space Shuttle Columbia landing on the runway in Texas! 4) how'd the plane emit a backwards "S" on takeoff? a plane of that size couldn't make a dip that tightly 5) the "white smoke" stayed around almost 45 full minutes without dissipating or expanding or thinning at all

I WAS WALKING MY DOG ON A CLEAR STAR LIT NIGHT. I GAZED UP AT THE S KY AND NOTICED A TRIANGULAR SHAPED FORMATION OF LIGHTS. THERE WERE THREE NON FLASHING WHITE LIGHTS ON EACH SIDE OF THE TRIANGLE. THE OBJECT APPEARED COMPLETLY TRANSPARENT LOOKING WITH STARS STILL VISIBLE IN BACKGROUND, NO AUDIBLE SOUND WAS HEARD. IT VANISHED AS QUICKLY AS IT APPEARED. THE TIME DURATION OF THE OBJECT WHICH TRAVELED EAST TO WEST WAS 6 SECS. THE OBJECT APPEARED TO MISTAKINLY BE VISIBLE AND LONG BEFORE IT REACHED THE HORIZON THE OBJECT TURNED OFF ITS LIGHT AS IF IT HAD A CLOAKING DEVICE. THE OBJECT WAS AT A LOWER ALTITUDE THEN THE THREE COMMERCIAL AIRLINERS FLYING IN THE AREA. DULLES INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IS 12 MILES AWAY, WHICH LEADS ME TO BELEIVE THAT THE OBJECT WAS FLYING UNDER RADAR DETECTION. THE OBEJECT APPEARED TO BE 300 TO 500 FT. ABOVE VISIBLE TREE LINES AND ROOF TOPS. I ESTIMATED THE SIZE OF THE CRAFT TO BE 3 TO 5 TIMES LARGER THEN COMMERCIAL AIRLINER.

Highly illuminated rectangular shaped object tilted at a 20-30 degree angle in the early AM hours.

I was driving out of my development heading for work at 5:55 AM. When I first saw the object I thought it was a blimp completely illuminated in the distance. As I drove towards the end of my street, the object became much more clear and the shape became much more defined. I believe that the object was moving towards my development as I was driving towards the object. The object was a perfect rectangle tilted approximately 20-30 degrees (long axis horizontal). The object was completely illuminated to the point where all I could see was a white light in the shape of a rectangle. If I had to guess at a distance I'd say the object was between 1000' and 2500' away from me. It lit up the sky like a full moon does on a dark night (it was still pitch black outside). I turned onto another street and continued driving while looking out the window at the object. It was moving parallel to the street I was on and about the same speed (45 mph). For a split second my line of sight was blocked by some trees. When I could see again, the object was much farther away (several miles) and all I could see was a very small illuminated rectangle. I am 30 years old with a wife and two children. I have a civil engineering degree from VA Tech and have been employed as a transportation engineer for almost 7 years. I live about 10 miles northwest of Dulles Airport but this object was like no airplane I've ever seen.

Craft appears faintly at first then drifted downward, brightened, and hovered at tree top level, red in color, then vanished.

I was sitting out in the carport of my home one evening and was looking to the east just above the tree tops at the stars. Visibility was maximum, no clouds and low humidity. The craft appeared very faintly at first then became clearer as it drifted down and seem to hover. The craft had 9 red lights in an inverted chevron pattern which were faint at first then intensified and glowed. After hovering for approximently 10 seconds it began to fade then was gone. No sounds were detected. Ordinary person. 52YOWF-First and only sighting. (There were no other objects in the sky during this occurence except stars)

U.F.O. spotted ouside Leesburg, Georgia hoving over trees before rapidly diving dove and up again.

Two friends and I were heading North/Northeast on New York RD about 10 miles outside of Leesburg, Georgia when I spotted something out of the back side window. All I saw were lights and I thought it was just an airplane, but I watched it anyway because no one was talking. I lost it behind the trees about 5 minutes later. We reached the end of New York Rd. and got out to sit and talk. We saw the aircraft again and it was hovering above the trees not far from us, and it was not making any sound. It would hover in one place and dive straight down and back up again very fast. Then it would move over a bit and do the same thing. It was very quick with its movements. I've never witnessed an aircraft moving in such a way as this one did. We soon lost it in the trees so we decided to drive in the direction it was heading, about 15 minutes later while heading south on Lesley Highway back towards Leesburg we spotted it again to the West of us near a radio tower. We followed it until it started to accelerate, at this point we observed a series of lights blink on and off. Three lights blinked on one side(?) and then 3 on the other. I do believe the lights changed too, from red to orange to white(not necessarily in that order). After this it quickly accelerated and disappeared. We didn't see it anymore after that. The 3 of us had not been drinking or using any kind of drug when we witnessed this.

A light on the horizon moving in quick and unusual manner before disappearing.

I was standing on a boat dock casually looking at stars. I noticed a blinking light to the South-Southwest at approximately 45 degrees. The light was small and at a considerable distance. I initially thought it was just an airplane or helicopter. The light began moving East and back West in very fast straight lines. The movements were first short and then covered increasingly longer distances until it was due South, standing still directly over the horizon of the lake. The light then moved up and down in quick jerking motions, and East and West in very short jerking motions. It then shot off diagonally to the South-Southwest at a speed faster than any of it's earlier movements and disappeared. I often spend time watching for another similar light but have seen nothing in the 10 + years since. It is important to note that in 1992 the army base at Fort McLelland, which is now closed, was still open. Fort McLelland is South-Southeast of Weiss Lake where the sighthing occurred. The date of the sighting was near other sightings in Northeast Alabama.

My Cousin and I were behind her home in Florida. The home sat near a lake that was surrounded by tall pine trees. We were cleaning fish that we had caught earlier in the day and suddenly we heard a low rummbling noise and we heard something scraping through the trees. It made quite a mess and initially I thought perhaps an air plane had crashed into the copse when suddenly at tree top level a vehicle emerged from the pines. It looked like a large cruise missle except it was wider and it had a black glass cab. It was blunt in the front and honestly it put in the mind of the space ships on the TV series Battle Star Galactica. Right down to the dirty white color of the fuselodge this craft with it's stunted wings and snub nose and its glistening black glass, hung in the air hovering, just over a palme tree that sat in my cousins side yard, in just the way that cruise missles don't. It hummed and the flash something seemed to explde from under the black cockpit glass and suddenly the thing was gone. A bright flash of blinding blue light the static smell of ozone and it was gone.
