white then turned green fire ball falling from sky

I am sure all the cars around me saw it. I was driving on hwy 79 about a mile from Sweeny Hollow rd. At first I thought well I see a shooting star, but no it was bigger and closer to the ground than a shooting star would be probably 1/4 a mile or 1/2 a mile up, and it was falling and about halfway across my vision it turned from white to pale green. and then it dissapeared in the treeline, I am sure it landed around two miles from me around where sweeny hollow road starts again after it crosses hwy 75 and goes to Trussville.

12:02 a.m. A box shaped object with a distinct 45degree[appx.] slope on it's front,moving at 400 to 500 m.p.h. at a good 400 feet up .It had on its rear, red and green flashing lights.It had brown irregular vertical stripes on the front side facing me.They looked like they were radiant heat as metal shows under a torch' flame. I only saw the object for a few seconds. I ran inside , grabbed a pen and some paper, to write this down. I called the MADISON CTY. SHERIFF's dept. and gave a report of this at 4:30 a.m. The object seemed to be the size of a walk in van.This siting took place on Cedarfield road, 1 and 1/2 miles from the Bearcreak rd. in Pinson Tn. Madison county.

Redish orange , traveling slowly and quietly!

When I saw the object, I was looking upward toward some high pine trees that had become infested with pine beatles. I saw a redish orange round object, approximately 50' in diameter, about 400 to 500 feet just above and to the north, of where I was standing. This object was traveling from SW to NE, at a rate of about 10 mph and not making a sound of any type. Immedately, I ran into our home, called the Birmingham Airport, identified myself, my location, what I had seen and the direction and speed, the object was traveling. I asked them if there was anything showing on radar, at my location. "No" was their answer.
