Saw a T shaped light low in SW sky for about 10 minute.

Saw a T shaped light low in the SW sky in early evening. Steady in sky about 10 minutes two nights in a row. Could have gone out of sight due to earth’s rotation. Two of us saw it two nights in a row. Didn’t move in anyway like a plane, helicopter, hot air balloon. Was low in sky but there is a mountain (1000 ft gain from my position) in that direction. I will search for it again with compass, inclinometer, and camera. Seemed too big for star or planet. I’d love to know what it is.
