Stars started to move

For nearly 1 month. What I thought were two large stars remained stationary in the night sky. They did not shift with the others stars. I thought this was odd but didn’t really obsess over it. Last night, the two large white glowing stars began to very slowly rotate and very slowly move across the sky, remaining equidistant from each other and moving in unison. No noise made. There were 4 other bright white lights that appeared to be stars also move slowly in location then disappear. No noise.

Saw a bright white light fly by within seconds

Sitting on my porch at night to let my dog out. Saw bright white light appear in northeast sky, quickly flew toward the west, and disappeared again. No sound. Could not see the actual craft only a bright light. The light was lower in the sky just above the trees. When shot by, animals, insects, critters went silent. After light flew by, dogs started barking and I could hear night sounds again.

Bright light near Dothan, Alabama sighted moving southward at extreme speed.

About an hour ago, while walking my dog, I looked to the southwest and noticed what I thought was an airplane flying towards Panama City.

The object was very bright and moving faster than a commercial flight could, and after 30 seconds, or so, dimmed and disappeared completely.

I am curious if anyone else saw this.

UFO was seen near the big dipper. it would flash very bright about every 15 seconds like a camera flash. It was not an Iridium flare; we see those all the time. Because it was doing a zigzag pattern and then it went straight north.

Approximately 21:30pm, 06/11/16, unidentified light formation seen moving slowly in night sky over Dothan, Alabama.

Tonight, 6/11/16, at approximately 21:30 or so, while sitting outside our apartment building in Dothan, Alabama, my friend and I saw a wide cluster of twinkling lights rise up over the buildings downtown, and move in formation across the sky towards us. Over 50 plus lights of various sizes, or maybe size variance in individual lights created by individual distance from us, created the illusion of different sizes. They moved very slowly and the whole incident lasted about 5 minutes. The cluster was very similar to a fireworks burst, only it didn't dissipate. There was no sign of smokiness as with fireworks. Each light was distinct and singular and moving in formation over the buildings and trees and then, still moving very slowly, moved straight up into the dark evening clouds. One of the lights broke formation and traveled downwards very slowly then blinked out. The cluster was still visible among the evening clouds but barely. Then eventually faded and disappeared altogether.

This is real. It did happen. It was very exciting and scary at the same time! My friend and I really want to know what those lights were and why they were visible over downtown Dothan!

Hovering fireball in Dothan, AL

We were driving and noticed a hovering fireball. I thought it may have been an airplane on fire, but it was just a ball shape.

My husband and I could both see what looked to be a glow coming from fire or flames. It didn't emit much light into the surrounding sky, and was well below the cloud line.

The sky was clear, and we could tell the object was much closer than other stars, or the altitude at which an airplane would have been flying.

The object didn't move forward, backward, or anything. It just seemed to hover and we drove right under it.

Me and my boyfriend were both outside enjoying the weather one night and when we decided to take out or trash we noticed this blinking light extremely brighter than all other stars in the sky. It flashed from red to blue to green. We stared at it for a minute or so and it moved maybe an inch in my perspective every two or three minutes. We decided to see if we could see anymore so we turned around looking in the sky. We found a total of four in a diamond pattern but very far apart. We looked online to see if we could find any answers since we were obviously a little spooked but found nothing. It could have possibly been a star but we didnt figure that there would be four of them in such a pattern that was an exact diamond.

Diamond shaped silent object floating over Dothan, AL

It was 9:54 pm. I was out in the backyard with the dogs. I happened to look up and saw a triangle of lights headed my way.

There were three lights: two red and one white. It seemed to be floating above the tree line. I first thought it might be helicopters flying in formation, but there was no sound. It seemed to be only one or possibly two football field lengths away. When it turned, I saw a third red light that made it the shape of a diamond. Only one light was blinking. The other three stayed on constantly.

I watched in amazement until it went behind the trees. I watched and waited for it to clear the trees. When it did, I saw it turn around and head back the way it had come. I was speechless. What can turn around like that?

When it went behind the trees again, I ran into the house for my camera. I was going to take a picture when it reappeared, but it never did.

On Feb 16, 2009 at 1850 hrs I walked out onto my front porch to go to my car my dog was raising cane so I was a little scared when for no apparent reason I looked up at the sky and there were three white lights flying together in a V shaped formation. They flew together one broke off to the right and became stationary the other two continued together until they blended in the sky with the other stars.I have no idea what it was because i dont believe in things like this but i know what i saw.It only lasted about 15 seconds I still cant believe what i saw was real. there has to be an explanation.

Multiple white horizontal UFOs stationary NE of Dothan, AL

Drove from Jacksonville, FL to Dothan, AL for work. Got out of truck and started to stretch. While stretching I looked up to the NE and saw a small horizontal white line sitting dead still at very high altitude. It caught my eye and when I really focused on it I noticed that there were 13 to 15 of them scattered about in no particular formation. Went to room to drop off luggage and when I looked again they were gone. Objects were very high; saw airliner flying at similar altitude and believe the objects were a little larger than the passenger plane.

Possible UFO in the South

Interesting object. I was outside near sunset and I saw what I first thought was a bird but the motion was odd and the object was much larger. There were birds in the sky at the same time. It was traveling from West to East. At about 1500 - 3000 feet, but this was hard to tell. It was a very dark, black object. I could tell it was diamond shaped. It was rolling and flipping as it traveled along. It maintained altitude and heading as if it was on a direct path. The was no sound. There was no exhaust. And it maintained a relativly constant speed. Not very fast and slower than a light aircraft in flight. The rolling and flipping motion is what I found odd. I first thought it was a huge bird, but I could see it was not a bird after it past by. My next thought was that it could be possibly be a balloon, but, again, after it passed by, I could tell it was not. It was a very dense, dark object. And it was diamond shaped. There were no lights or anything luminuos. I have no idea what it was. I was hoping the local news media might have had some reports of this, but it appears not. So I would have to say what I saw tonight would be classified as a unidentified flying object. I am hoping though someone else reported something similar as this object headed east.

A comet type object in night sky.

I went outside to replace a fuse in my Christmas lights. The time was between 18:10 and 18:40 .I was conscious of the time because I had to take my son to school for a function at 18:40. I looked up in the sky and saw what I first took to be a comet, but I did not think there were any comets around.

I then decided that it was just a star and distortion from my glasses lenses was causing me to see a tail. Normally if an object is distorted by my lenses I can look dead on at an object and the distortion will clear. In this case however, no matter what direction I looked at the object, the tail remained. I was in a hurry and just decided that because this thing definitely had a tail I guess that I had missed the fact on the news that there was comet visible in the night sky. I then justified this decision by thinking that I remembered hearing on the radio about a comet.

The object looked to me very similar Hale Bopp. I did not study it for more than a few minutes, knew it was out of place, then justified why and went about my business. It had enough impact on me to look for it again, when I went to unplug my Christmas lights, but I could not locate it. I didn’t think much of it until I heard Peter Davenport on Coast To Coast. Sorry I didn’t study the object closer.

Saw a big light in sky moving a bit and then it left VERY quickly.

I was outside my apartment toward the parking lot smoking a cigarette with my husband. My 2 children (9 & 1) were there as well. Over the neighboring apartment complex I saw what I at first thought was a very bright star. I noticed that it was slowly moving so my next inclination was to think that it was a plane as we live only a few miles froma small airport. But it was moving much too slowly to be a plane so close to us. I called my husband's attention to it. It would stop moving then move a little and so on. Then it SHOT off....gone just like that. It was gone so quickly that I thought it had to have been covered up by a fast moving cloud. But I looked around at the sky and there were no clouds. It was weird.

I witnessed a color-shiftin object in the sky of Alabama when I was star-gazing.

I was laying in my front yard, stargazing, when I saw a light in Orion's belt. It was a sort of pinkish-purple color with a greenish az around it, and it shifted from that color to blue, and back again. It moved eastward rapidly, leaving a scattering of white specks behind it, like more, smaller craft. Then in a flash of light, it vanished. I had the distinct impression that they had been trying to mentally contact me, because I seemed to have been hearing a sort of haunting music that was coming from no external source during the whole incident.
