Firey ufo

This orange light that flies in the sky unnaturally can be seen floating over Melbourne iowa only in the summer time around midnight only. Last year 2023 August I was listening to music inside my car for a couple of hours and noticed a strange drone like sounds outside my car. I looked up and saw this orange light at least 20 feet in the air watching me.

I saw 3 balls of lights, 1 traveling from the West and 2 already on my porch roof.

I was letting my dogs out in my backyard when I saw a huge ball of light traveling from the West. It stopped when it saw me. I looked up above my head and just about 3 feet away was another ball of light and a third ball of light next to it hovering. These balls of light were about 4-5 feet in diameter. I was not afraid at all and tried hard to study them. They were very bright but did not hurt my eyes looking at them. I did not feel any heat coming off of them and they did not shine out like a flashlight or car lights would and did not light up the backyard. The ball of light from the West started traveling again in front of me. I noticed a lot of energy going on inside of it. It was surrounded by a thick eerie fog however I did not see fog on my side of the fence. They did not make any sound at all. I just stayed still when they all left and did not see where they went from here. I took a picture of my backyard and drew the best I could of what I saw. The lights were perfectly round like giant light bulbs.

Filmed the object for approximately one minute to show its immobility before it seemed to Shoot off directly away from me before disappearing in a small flash of light.

While sitting in my hot tub I was looking in a Southward direction waiting for the SpaceX rocket launch, when I saw what I thought was a shooting star, but then I realized there were more lights around what I thought was the star. The lights were in a chevron shape and were very dim. The object with the lights moved across the sky very quickly. It was out of my view within 3 or 4 seconds. The object appeared to be flat and made no sound as it moved across the sky. My boyfriend also saw it as he was in the hot tub with me.

Quickly moving and dividing, colorful lights, multiples of areas, Also seems translucent as if it’s opening and closing it’s wings

I’ve watched these lights for the past eight months they move erratically up down sideways. The number of lights divide when attempting to photograph typically the lights turn off and our seen in another location. There was roughly about 12 separate lights. They moved all around the property when I went outside to see them they followed. You could not make out anything other than the lights.

I saw about 5 very faint star -like color and objects flying incredibly fast in the north direction. They were initially traveling in a wedge/V formation but soon scattered positions amongst each other before fading out into the distance. I'm not sure if this information is relevant but about 20 to 30 minutes later I saw what looks like a green fire ball head towards the Atlantic Ocean. It was very bright and very low in the sky.

Saw a small dark round object in western sky

Driving west from beachside Indiatlantic Fl we spotted a small dark round “dot” flying slowly in the western sky about 90*.
As the object headed toward the clouds, it would occasionally sparkle and shine a silver/ rainbow color.
We got over the bridge to the mainland it had gone in and out of the clouds changing from the round dark shape to a silver crescent shaped object that flashed and sparkled a few different light colors. We then lost sight of it in the clouds.
This is the third time in a year we have seen similar round singular dark objects in this area… always around late afternoon

Two orange lights slowly pulsing in the distance.

Initially only one object was seen, a bright orange light which pulsed twice before disappearing. After about five minutes we witnessed what we believed to be the same object, brighter than before, shining in the same place it was initially seen. It pulsed once, shining for 1.5-2 seconds, then a second orange light appeared next to it, pulsed once in the same manner, after which the first light pulsed a second time. They repeated this process twice more and then both shone brightly for half a second before fading away. No further visual contact.

It shows up and is very bright and rapidly changes colors and appears to be rapidly morphing and changing shapes as well as expanding and contracting. It often looks like it morphs into a cube shape (reminds me of a Rubiks cube). It’s the strangest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I regularly watch it from my back porch or my front yard. It leaves sometime between 3 AM and 5 AM.

Triangular objects over Melbourne, FL

My husband and I pulled into the parking lot of a business in Melbourne, right off of US 1, to watch the Spacex launch on Thursday, Dec 10th. The launch was scheduled at 20:09 that evening, and we pulled off about 19:55 to catch it. We walked to the fence behind the building to get a better line of sight. As we were standing there, I looked up into the sky directly above and caught a glimpse of a triangular shaped object flying above us. All I could make out was the shape and that there was something on the perimeter of the object that may have been lights, but they were not on. As I was trying to point it out to my husband (who never saw the object) a second and then a third object followed the first one. They were traveling very fast and disappeared quickly to the south. Because of the conditions (it was nighttime, the sky and the objects were black) I can’t estimate the altitude of the objects, but they appeared large enough that my guess is they weren’t ! at significantly high altitude.

I was driving northbound on I-95 around 9:00 am when I noticed an accident in the opposite southbound lane with traffic building up. As my northbound traffic began to slow down for caution, I looked in the northeast sky over Melbourne, FL, and saw a rectangular shaped glowing object in the sky. The object either appear to be emitting an orange glow or was reflecting the rising sun. It appeared to me as a vertical rectangle which was wider at the top than the bottom. The top of the rectangle appeared to have some sort of crests or wings arched out of the rear. I diverted vision from the object to open my phone camera and lost sight of the object and could not relocate.

Light in the night sky moved and stood still and flew around for many minutes.

Me and my girlfriend were looking at the stars around 8pm, it was kinda cloudy and lightning could be seen on the horizon lighting up the clouds over the ocean. As we sat there we noticed something moving in the sky. The object, about the size of a small star, would move from one spot to one another and stay still almost blending in with the stars. Also, I saw once that very dim light from the object would be reflecting onto the clouds as it flew. It would disappear behind the clouds as well. When it would move It moved at about the speed of an airplane. It even did some circular loop movements up and down that were way too fast to be a plane. It would stop completely still and I would put my two fingers in between it to make sure I was actually seeing what I was seeing and sure enough it would move to another spot. It would sit still for a few minutes and then move to another spot and sit still like a star. At one point we thought we saw multiple lights mov! ing in a similar fashion but we tossed that up to us hyping it up. There definitely was one “craft” that I followed for as long as it was around being about 20 min. Not sure what we saw but it was odd. Other air craft were clearly seen in the sky but the way this one moved was different and the lights never blinked only a solid light like a dim star.

6-7 lights in V formation that made no sound changes formation Melbourne, Florida.

While walking our dog my fiancé noticed 6-7 small round lights flying in a perfect "V" formation. He said do you see that? And pointed above in the sky.

I immediately noticed the perfect V formation of 6-7 perfect lights flying in precise formation. I thought it was a commercial airline, until I noticed there was no sound, and the speed was not normal.

As I followed it, trying to get my camera/video recorder open on my phone, the formation changed. These lights were so close together and so symmetrical until they changed into a "Y." Unfortunately, I didn’t get my video or camera open in time, before they went behind a huge oak tree and disappeared. We obviously walked around in several directions trying to find them and we couldn’t. We both said if we had seen this alone we wouldn’t believe what we seen.

We also live in a well lighted area actually a medium size city. We are also located by a decent size airport so we know that this was not normal to say the least! There was a airplane that was landing and passed very close. No way air traffic control would allow

UFO on fire

Saw ufo on the way home from Orlando to Melbourne, Florida, on highway 95. On the left-hand side, there was something on fire in the sky. I thought it was a meteor or space junk, until it dropped and stopped. It disappeared then it re-appeared probably a couple hundred feet above the ground. It flashed. It looked like there were light beams coming out of the side of it. It was also smoky around it. It was probably an egg shape and white ish with a red/orange/yellow light surrounding it. It then vanished and re appeared 3 times until it completely vanished. Then further down the road there was this giant triangle in the sky. 3 light very bright. One vanished and the other was flashing (not an airplane or helicopter) then suddenly this one appears that is low that is 3 lights on top and 3 lights on bottom on red and green and it was just flying around. I was trying to take a photo/video and my phone was malfunctioning. I called my mom and was freaking out about it to her on the phone. It was crazy.

Two orange lights hovering above ocean at night

Two orange lights appeared out of nowhere and stayed in the same position, hovering above the ocean at Melbourne Beach. 5 nerdy engineering students, who don't drink or do drugs, spotted the lights. One light appeared before the other and disappeared, before the other, too. Lights were very bright, illuminated beach, could see shells and look through bag with ease. Very small lights, seemed to be very far out in ocean, had faint cone of light around each light.

Were probably not flares because they did not rise or fall at all. There were others at the beach that probably saw the lights, too.

Observed a black round or saucer shaped object traveling from south to north, then making a 90 degree turn west.

Looking out my bedroom window which faces south I observed a round or saucer shaped object traveling north toward the building I live in. It made an immediate turn west and continued.

The object was black. I did not observe any windows or markings on the craft. I was inside the building so I did not hear any noise. I live on the 11th floor of a high-rise. Therefore, I could not hear a noise. The altitude of this object did not seem that high from my observation point.

I went into my living room which faces due west and observed the object fade into the horizon. I could visualize this object for a far greater distance than I can see a plane.

I was driving South on 95 and saw a yellowish round aircraft that went from West to East. What amazed me was it went from one side of the sky to the other in about 12 seconds and then suddenly disappeared. It was very high in the sky and moved at a rate of speed I've never witnessed before.

At first I thought it was a falling star but it went directly horizontal across the sky. I've checked news reports to see if anyone else saw it, but haven't seen any other reports.. I've timed all other aircraft's in the sky and nothing comes close to what I saw. I say about 12 seconds because after watching for about 3 seconds, I started counting- because the rate of speed was phenomenal. It did not have a tail, it was a yellowish round ball that moved from one side of the horizon to the other but seemed to disappear when it got over open water. I'm hoping someone else saw it and will come forward. I travel for my job and spend a lot of time on the road and this is the first time I cannot decipher what I witnessed.

On 12 January, 2014, at approximately 1550hrs EST, a total of five photos were taken. Three photos of the object; two photos of the object are enhancements of the first and last photo taken.

Three were taken of this object as it traversed the sky in a westerly direction. The object was reflecting the sun and definitely did not have a non reflective coating.

The object initially appeared to be cylindrical (vertical) on the first and second shot. The third photo was as it was opening up.

A Cannon Digital camera with a 300mm zoom lens was utilized.

Photos were taken at an approximate magnetic azimuth of 220 degrees of Melbourne, Fl, during survey of solar panel placements on a home when the object was noticed in the sky.

The object remained airborne with enough time to run inside the home and grab the camera to photograph.

* No other entity or agency has been notified by me regarding this discovery.

Vacationed to Melbourne Florida and saw a ball of light over the Atlantic ocean that disappeared into the stars

My boyfriend and I vacationed to Florida from the Midwest. We stayed alongside the Atlantic ocean and stayed up one night until about 4:00am. We were sitting in front of the ocean admiring the stars and out in the distance we saw a round ball of whitish yellow light darting across the sky.

At first we thought it was a star but it cut across the sky unlike anything we've seen before.

We watched it for what felt about like 3 to 5 minutes.

My boyfriend tried to get a pic finally and accidentally let it flash, lighting up the whole beach.

After the flash of the pic we looked back; it had already disappeared into the stars.

Orange spheres and slow moving stars.

My grandma and my moms husband saw what they described as 3 orange spheres flying not that high over the Melbourne causeway. I have 2 coworkers that have seen the same thing. I never told them what my grandma saw till they told me what they saw so I know they are not making it up to jive me. BTW both coworkers saw the orange spheres on different occasions both over the Indian river while crossing the causeway. I listen to coast to coast and I notice them talking about the red fireballs over Florida and other parts of the country I'm convinced its the same phenomenon. I've never seen them personally but I have seen stars that move in the sky. I can tell the difference between airplanes and UFOs because airplanes have some light blinking on them. UFOs traditionally don't. These things look exactly like stars and move in str8 lines and sometimes make sharp turns. Iv never seen them shoot off or anything, so I could be seein satellites. They appear everyday I wo! rk at Patrick Air Force base at the chow hall and rite when the stars come out if you look up for a good 10 mins you'll start to notice it. I've shown other coworkers so this is not my eyes playing tricks. I see these star UFOs whenever I look up long enough at night time although I haven't been looking since early January. The orange spheres were 3 different occasions. This is not a joke I take this very seriously.

An orange light came from the SSE and went NNW. I watched for the usual red and green lights but none ever appeared. Then the light went brighter, then dimmer, and then lighter again as it traveled across the sky. There was a center mass but no vehicle discernable.

Again, no red or green lights, or white headlight as usually seen on a plane. When it went overhead there was no sound, coming or going. Then it disappeared.

I’ve seen satellites over the years and they are always white and much higher in the sky. It wasn’t a meteorite for there was no tail and no sound for how low it was.

I was in my kitchen washing dishes, and I was looking out the window and noticed something that looked like a very large person, all white kneeling on the roof across the street from me and it was staring back at me. It appeared whitish grey, bald, with very long arms and legs. It was also somewhat see through. I watched it as it then ran left, off of the building and had what looked like wings. It just evaporated like mist. Then later on that night, I had just gotten into bed and heard random weird voices loudly saying something, but it didnt make sense. I sat up and looked for something, then a bald thin but big thing popped its head up from the end of my bed and started walking side ways like a crab, and went out my closed window. It too was grey, and somewhat transparent.

I noticed what seemed like a fireball streak from right to left with a very slight downward angle, but did not continue to fall to earth and there was no trace of light thereafter. Living near an Air Force Base and local airport I have observed many different variations of aircraft, close enough to Cape Canaveral to witness launches of all kinds and have not ever noticed such a strange occurrence before. I was standing just inside my screened in porch and stepped outside immediately. It was very bright - very reddish/orange and very large. It disappeared within 30 seconds roughly. Not a meteor and night sky was as it should be. It ALMOST looked like a burning plane but just stopped!

It was 10:09 on my birthday and I was driving down Sarno road right next to Harbor Elementary. I just picked up a pizza and was driving back to my place. I was with my girlfriend almost home and I spotted something in the sky hovering less than a mile high up in the sky. It looked like a dim yet bright lantern.

I pointed it to her and she started to freak out a little and was like "wait...I think it's a remote plane" and I was like...no way.

As we went under it and went out of our view, we looked around and saw cars slowing down to look at it. After it got in to our view again (in my driver mirror) both my girl and I was looking at it and about ~5-7 seconds later it just shot up really freaking fast and just kept going up and went out of sight in about 7 seconds.

There wasn't a cloud in the sky.

I was out on the patio in my backyard at about 7:15 pm (EST) when I noticed a very strange accumulation of lights. It was still. No movement was made for at least one minute. There were four yellow lights (I thought it was a cluster of stars I'd never seen before) very close together and just above them were three orange(?)lights, one was above and between the 1st and second yellow lights,the 2nd orange light was above and between the second and third yellowlights and the third orange light was above and between the third and fourth yellow lights.

I stared at this for a minute or so and thought it was very odd. Then, the entire object swiftly moved across the sky with no real direction. I followed it's course for about 20 seconds as it moved over the roof of a house and I could no longer follow it. It was nothing like I've ever seen before.

While walking outside to see the meteor shower, I believe i saw a U.F.O.. It was triangular in shape and moved at a steady pace across the sky. All I could see was three dim points in a perfect triangle flying with the point facing the rear. I am not sure if this was one craft or possibly 3 flying in formation. No other "meteors" were seen, although I try to catch every meteor shower. I have seen my fair share of meteors and never have I seen anything like this. While driving to my friends house to hang out I came accross 3 bright lights and one really bright red pulsating light. Each bright light was located at every end of the triangle. Interested in what I was looking at I decided to drive closer to the object to get a better look. I was able to get right under the craft and get a pretty good view of it. I was about 300 FT from the ground, and was moving at a very slow and steady speed. I got out of my car to get a better view and noticed that it was making no sounds. It was heading west onto I 95. I would have loved to have some evidence but the only thing on me at the time was a cell phone, and all that appeared on camera was a bright red light.

Pre dawn with clear moon lite sky, three bright lights appeared quickly and vanished just as quick, but all were of the same appearanc

I am 58 years old. I am a retired US Army Sergeant First Class (E-7). I have been working with the Air Force Security Forces for ten years, as a civil service employee.

My wife and I have lived in Florida for the past eleven years.

I have three years of college. My signal corps background in the Army required me to maintain the highest level of secret clearances. I recruited for the Army in Colorado.

I am a stable person in society.

I spotted three brillently lite lights, seperately but within seconds of each other, in the early morning hours of 24 April, 2008.

I was sitting out front having my morning coffee prior to leaving for work.

Around 0610, I caught a glimpse of a bright light up around the nearly full moon and the star to its western side. This light lasted only a matter of one or two seconds and was traveling at a super rate of speed from south to north direction. It's altitude seemed to be either out in space or very near the earths upper most atmosphere.

The light/flash was so intense that I had to contemplate what it might be.

It was definately not a commercial aircraft, it moved across the sky far to fast. I know what Navy and Air Force fighter aircraft look like in flight and these lights moved far faster than any aircraft in the fleet.

There was no noise prior to or after the sightings. There were no contrails, and the moon lite sky was for the most part clear.

I know what meteorites and space junk look like when they enter our atmosphere and burn up on entry. These did not burn up, they simply appeared out of nowhere and just as quickly disappeared.

These objects were brighter than any star that is visiable with the naked eye.

They did not appear to be traveling a set path as would a satellite crossing over.

I considered the space station crossing over and getting the reflections from the sun rising. No way. It would be a single siting and be over with.

I witnessed these three lights on three seperate occations, only seconds apart.

The first as mentioned above. The second followed up in the same path as the first, south to north, same exact location between the moon and a star just west of the moon.

The third appeared suddenly and traveled east of the moon on a westerly to easterly direction. It too, dissapeared quickly. You could count one thousand one, one thousand two and in this time period it covered a large area of space and sky prior to disappearing.

I was standing on my porch smoking a cigarette at approximately 8:40 PM It was cloudy with pretty low clouds when I thought that out of the corner of my eye I had seen a white light flash by at a tremendous speed. I then looked up at the sky, I was facing east. I saw traveling from North to South what seemed to be 2 pretty big pinkish red round " lights" traveling. One was in front and the second one seemed to be following the first one. The second object was behind and to the right of the lead object. The were too low to be airplanes and made no sound at all. I clearly saw the two objects long enough to see that they were not everyday craft. They seemed to be exactly the same size and seemed to travel at the exact same speed. They flew into or behind a cloud and I lost sight of them. I continued to look to see if I could find where they went but to no avail. About 2 minutes after I saw these pinkish red "lights" that seemed to come from the north, I heard and saw an airplane fly in the same direction but the airplane turned to the east too soon to follow the path that these objects had taken. The objects were flying down here in our atmosphere, I mean to say, that they were not high in the sky. They were lower than a small airplane would fly...........

What I thought was a star in the Northeast sky suddenly moved across (East) and then disappeared into the distance. There was not a cloud in the sky. There were 3 helicopters going by at the time and the difference in the type of light between the aircraft and what looked like a star was unmistakable.

Metallic Spherical Object spotted at 3000-3500ft by Melbourne/East Coast 20-30nm south of the Space Station. in a PA28 at 4500ft

Hi there, I'm a pilot from the vero beach area and was on a cross country flight from vero beach to Ocala, took off round 2:30p.m Local and climbed to my cruise altitude of 4500feet in a PA-28.

About 10 miles north of the Melbourne VOR and on the 343degree radial northbound, I witnessed a metallic spherical object 500-1000ft below me to my 11 oclock. The object appeared to be about 3-5m minimum in diameter, could have been bigger, and was completely shiny with nothing interms of design or edges, a pure metallic sphere and passed over onto my wing side where i saw it, was about 500-1000 ft from me, and like i said about 500 ft to 1000 ft below the horizon and I can definitely see it in contrast to the green background of the ground. It may have been hovering or traveling at a very slow speed. With the sun reflecting the front portion of the sphere, I can literally focus on the rear and from there I followed it and made sure it was in fact a sphere and shiny metallic surface.

I was filing a flight plan with St. Petersbrgh Flight Service Station at the same time and was interrupted by the sighting and I filed the report instantly and in the same conversation as with the filing of the plan with no pauses with the station.

Until now, no news on what it may have been but i was told information was sent to nasa....

Picture was taken with a digital camera on Sept 25, 2005 at a public beach in Melbourne Florida facing toward the Atlantic Ocean. Nothing was observed during the photo shoot. Only when the picture was loaded onto a laptop at home was an unusual object noticed in the horizan.

While driving a white sphere crossed road in front of us at high speed then turned straight down and disappeared.

My wife and I were driving south on Wickham road when a large white sphere shot across the sky it was going west parallel with the ground and appeared to cross the road about 7 to 10 miles in front of us the sphere didn't look to be very high in the sky less then 300 feet but was difficult to judge at night as you couldn't see a landmark to try and get a bearing on it. The craft then took a 90 degree turn straight down toward the ground and disappeared. From where we were it looked like it would have hit the ground in West Melbourne or Palm Bay. The entire event didn't last 5 seconds. From that far away it still looked to be a pretty big craft not 100 feet across but bigger than a helicopter. What made us think it was a ufo was the 90 degree turn at very high speed not that far off the ground I was expecting to see the ground light up from the crash but nothing happened. Eleven reddish orange lights appear and disappear in the skey

On Saturday, February 2,2002 at approximately 9:15 p.m., my husbard and I were leaving my mothers house, she leaves in the Lake Washington area. In the southwest sky my husband observed a reddish orange light. The light appeared to be standing still. Living near an airport we first thought it might be a incoming airplane. We got out of the car and while waiting to see if the light would move all of a sudden a second but smaller light appeared above and to the right of the first light. As we waited to see what would happen next the first light suddenly disappeared. Then all of a sudden the light reappeared and then the second light disappeared. I called my mother out and she brought with her a pair of binoculars. When looking through the binoculars you could observe the lights pulsating. The light would take turns suddenly appearing and disappearing. The lights would also change shapes. The continuded for about 40-45 minutes. When all of a sudden one by one seven lights appeared. Each light was even distanced except for the space between the 4 and 5 light. After all seven lights appeared in a perfectly straight horizontal line, to the above and left 4 more lights appeared. The next thing we heard was what eppeared to be two military jets and a Blackhawk helicopter. There was also a plane with search lights that flew over the sightings area. Upon the arrival of the aircraft all of the lights immediately disappeared. My sister and her friend also observed the unusually busy night sky with the military aircraft. This entire episode lasted for about 50 minutes. If I had not seen it with my own eyes, I would not have believe it.

(follow up report). July 7,2001 945 pm, I observed a UFO and filed a report Aug 8,2001 .I reported a (V) shaped UFO, which was missing two lights on one end, while in Melborne Florida. (see original report for more info). Today, Aug 20,2002, I was checking your website and observed a report and drawing of a UFO reported 7-23-2002, in Valencia,California. This drawing is the same shape craft that I saw, except for the color of the lights. My wife and kids make fun of me all the time for the report that I made to your website. July 7,2001 at 945 pm (V) shaped formation of lights sighted in the sky near Patrick Air force base Florida.

July 7, 2001, at aprox 945pm, my brother in law and I were standing on the beach in Melborne Florida on vacation. The sky was clear and you could see a lot of stars. My brother in law pointed to the sky and said "what is that". I looked to the sky and saw a (V) formation of six or seven white lights that almost looked like shooting stars but slower. The (V) formation was missing two lights on one end to make a perfect (V). The formation looked a little blurry to me. The formation moved from the ocean side (South) to the north, high in the sky, maybe out of the atmosphere. The formation moved very fast lasting about three seconds. Iam a Vietnam veteran and retired Police Officer. I have lived near a military air base most of my life. I have Never seen anything like this in my life! About 11pm I called the Patrick Air Force base, which is near by, and spoke to the operator at the base. I told her what I saw and asked her who I could talk to about what I saw. She advised me that the Air Base did not investigate UFO sightings and advised me to call the Sheriffs office, which I did. After telling the dispatcher what we saw, she said she had no other reports of what I saw and asked if I wanted to see a Police Officer and I stated no. At aprox 3am I could not sleep thinking about what I saw and called the Sheriffs dispatcher again. This time I talked to a male operator. I asked him if he had any reports of strange lights and he stated "oh yes" lots of reports! I told him what I saw and he had a quick change of attitude and asked if I had been drinking? I told him no. He said what you saw were fireworks and asked if I wanted him to send a Police Officer and I said no . I hope some eone else saw what we saw!

i believe it was during a night time shuttle launch. i walked out side to see it and i looked up and i and i saw this big triangle like ship and it was looked like it was comeing down like if it was landing, that's when i stepped under the porch, i couldn't hear any noise at all. then i stuck my head outside the porch and looked up and some kind of door opened up and this very bright blue light came out and before it hit me a ran inside and looked out the window and saw it fly away. this is not the first sighting that i had but it was the first one for the triangle shap ufo.

I am a retired ((deleted--senior public employee)), City of Detroit, Mi. In 1991 We, my wife and youngest daughter, purchased a home in the "Ozarks", ((town deleted)), Ark. In Sept. ? of 1994 I drove into town to pick-up my daughter, age 6 yrs., and her friend, age 9 yrs. from school. It was 3:00 PM. We drove to "Red Mule" for ice-cream, then went straight to the friend of my daughter's home to await her mother, and my wife who were shopping in "Batesville" 35 miles distant. The girls played in the front yard and I remained in the truck. At approximatly 3:30 PM. A "B2" stealth bomber approached my vehicle at a right angle, and would fly directly over my truck. I hurriedly left the truck for an unobstructed view. This was a first and only phisical view of the B2. It was real low, real slow, real large, real black, and almost noiseless. Imagine my thrill as it lazily passed over me. I turned as it went over, and called the girls to look-up. They did, as they lined to my left. At this time,the B2 was maybe a hundred yards past. Then, the corner of my right eye picked-up the site of a "silver/metalic disc hurtling down crossways, right to left at about 45 degrees. It looked as though it would contact the "B2". In seemingly nothing-flat, the "disc" which appeared completely circular on its path downward suddenly flattened in a manuever and positioned itself directly over the canopy section (rearward probably of the windscreen)and at once was in perfect sinc with the direction, and knot-speed of the B2.My daughter's friend exclaimed loudly...AND WHAT IS THAT? I answered, DO YOU SEE THAT? She said YEA! as did my daughter. My mouth was dry, and my neck-hair bristled, or crawled. I was totally confused and riveted to this event. The "disc" in reality only hovered over the stealth for maybe 4 or 5 seconds and I strained to take it all in. The sky was 3D clear blue, and the sun was behind me, and to my left. The stealth was now directly moving straight away from us and suddenly there was a blinding yellowish/white fuzzy flash and the "disc" ! hurtled away at a withering rate of accelleration, and at a level on par with the "B2" and at a 20 to 30 degrees "port" angle to the "B2"s dead reckoning. Several more seconds elapsed before I thought to "count". I then counted about 5 seconds and the "disc was gone into and beyond the horizon. I switched my stare back to the stealth and to my amazement, it had not pursued,nor altered its heading, nor differentiated in its rate of velocity. As I have so stated; the "disc" was of a silver/metalic nature. I had it in my vision extremely clear. There were no portals of any kind. There were no discernable seams,nor rivits although at that distance of probably five hundred feet or more down the road; these features might'nt be visible to the naked eye. There were no lights, nor markings that I could discern. In short, nothing but the superb showing of the silver/metalic skin, and the shape. It was circular, flat bottomed, with a curved, or arched topside and sloping gently towards the bottom edge, yet extending slightly past then curving tightly downward, and inward,and straightening to the bottom edge. End of story. Beginning of mystery. There is a MUFON chapter somewhere near Batesville, Ark. ? A lady doctor fields the calls. I contacted her after my daughter's friends mother took the MUFON contact number from a T.V. U.F.O. show several weeks after our encounter. I related this same account to her, and she advised me that this was a remarkable event that did not occur often. I no longer have her number. As we talked, she advised me that there would in several weeks time be an international mufon gathering in Silver Springs, Ark. I however did not attend, but maybe you have heard of it, or possibly attended. Let me know if you are able to confirm this with any other information. Thankyou. Space Station: One warm night when we were living in Melbourne Village, on West Pine Road, I was having trouble sleeping. Our bed had its head against the wall and the two jalousie windows to the front yard passed for a head board. I remember leaning on my elbows, and gazing out toward the ((name deleted--neighbor's)) back yard. They had a cement-block compost station, into which they threw the copious mounds of palm fronds, pine boughs and cones which fell into their yard. They were an older couple and had time to lovingly groom their yard.

West Pine Road is a dead end. Until recently, like many roads in the Village, it had remained unpaved and without street-lights. Now, however, there was a street light and new asphalt. Still, the road was quiet, deserted, the few homes set back in the trees of their large lots. The ((name deleted--the neighbors')) yard looked like a park, like a glen in a small wood, a sylvan stand, idyllically bathed in the pale golden glow of the single street-light, high as the moon on its pitchy pole.

But what to my amazed eyes then happened. Something so strange and unexpected, so bizarre. For years, I was unable to speak words to give my listeners an understanding of what I saw. Now, thanks to 30 years of "special effects" and Sci-Fi technology, I can come closer. Have you ever seen a film where travelers in future civilizations "wink" in and out of locations? There seems to be a slit in the air and they step through? Well, this is something akin to what I witnessed. What I saw was the scene that I had been watching, the still, pastoral night-woods, "freeze" momentarily and become like a painting of itself. From behind this "set", this "prop" false-front stepped a dozen or more people.

They were intently walking, fast and purposefully, toward our yard. They streamed out from "nowhere" like they were getting off a bus back there. Crossing our yard, they went to the edge of our grove. I sprang up and went out the porch door and toward their destination in our yard. They were going up. Whatever they were climbing, I couldn't see it. But I got in there, in behind them, and went up, too.

Now, none of these folks were talking to one another. It didn't seem like they were social or maybe they were just tired and everyone seemed to be giving each other some "private" space. I was then in a small, round-shaped room; the light was pale gray. I left that room through a large opening into a curving hallway. On the outside of the hallway, that is, the larger side of the curve, were doorways. The walls, the ceiling, were pale gray, very clean, very empty, very evenly-lighted. The doorways to the apartments were set up about 8 inches off the hallway floor. You had to step up to enter them. The doors sealed tightly. Everything seemed fitted, metal, cool.

One such doorway was open. I looked in. The room was surrounded in floor-to-ceiling bookcases, filled with books. A wooden room-divider, a set of shelves with no backing back then known as an “étagère”, extended from the wall beside the door for about three feet, straight into the room. I stepped up into this "apartment", and saw, in a glass dish on one of these shelves, a painted rock. The rock was a smooth one on which was painted in yellow an area like the shape of the state of Virginia, and in black the words "Souvenir of Virginia". Just then, a woman stepped through the doorway at the far side of the room from me.

She was no one I knew. I still can see her face, and I don't believe I've ever met her before or since. She had medium-length hair, straight, auburn, cut in a "page-boy" style. Her clothes were classic business attire. She would have fit in at any American office, from 1950 to today. She seemed surprised to see me there, but she did not speak. Rather, I seemed to hear her thoughts. They went: "Oh! You shouldn't be here. My husband is coming up soon, and he'll take you back." After this, I have no memory except of finding myself in my bed at home.

But, I do not think this was a dream. I am writing this in 2002, over thirty years have passed, since it occurred in 1968. It was not dream-like. I was not asleep when it started. I have never seen reality "shift" to a cartoon of itself and people come out from "behind" the scene before or after. Only on recent Sci-Fi shows is there anything similar to this. This woman was no one to me. I cannot place any of these images as relating to my life then; I get no meaning from souvenir rocks and no association with "Virginia". These images were from outside of me, not from my mind and concerns. It was not a dream. I clearly remember getting up from bed and running out the door to the grove.

I want to comment on her attitude toward me. It was the way we who are compassionate, treat wildlife. Not like we treat a pet, but like we treat an intruder who is probably harmless if handled properly, something we don't want invading our "home" and we wouldn't kill it... unless that became necessary. But certainly NOT like one of "us", and certainly like a "problem" to be dealt with, an inconvenience and an impropriety.

The communication was there, but it was all one way. There was no "who are you? what are you doing here?" I was TOLD I was not supposed to be here and that I would be "taken care of" and soon. Maybe I'm being a bit precipitous. Maybe her attitude was like the way civilians are treated when they innocently enter off-limit areas controlled by the military.

Above written 3-31-2002 Since this was written, I have re-thought how the vehicle which the commuters took may have been hidden. Perhaps it was capable of mimicking its background the way some fish take on the color and pattern of the sea floor to escape detection by predators? I happened to witness the craft "gelling" into its new, fixed location and when its "door" opened and let the passengers debark, they appeared to step from behind the scenery which had been placed in front of the nearly-identical scene.

How did it arrive at this spot without my seeing it in contrast to the background? Could it have been invisible, immaterial prior to my seeing it "gel"? Could it have come up from below? If so, how did it do so without disturbing the ground? Perhaps it arrived so quickly that it seemed to appear instantaneously? Above written 12-21-2009
