We were on I 85.. got off at exit 62 and ran parallel to interstate. Went about 2 miles and it was just hanging there. It was higher than a cell tower.. but was not a plane and was NOT MOVING. Completely stationary. Extremely BRIGHT. It was long. We did not pull over. I can’t believe others did not see it. It was just BIZARRE.

We got away from it but it was still hovering because we could see it behind us.

It moved almost like lights were attached to the end of a helicopters wings but wayyyy to high in the sky and fast to possibly be a helicopter plus it was silent. I thought it was really really cool

A large bright flash, then moments later a 'V' shaped light int he sky

On Sunday night I was driving north on US Highway 431 in Opelika, Alabama. I had just passed the East Alabama Medical Center, ( a hospital). I was in front of the fire station located next to the hospital and along US Highway 431, when to my immediate front and slightly to my left, there appeared in the sky, almost 1/4 way up on the horizon, a very large, round flash of light. It appeared no longer than 2 seconds. I looked to the clock in my Jeep Cherokee and it was 11:11 pm.

There is no communication tower in that location. I had my window down and heard no explosion. I continued going north on Hwy 431 going home. It had rained all day, but now there was only a light drizzle. I saw nothing else until I was completely out of town.

Traveling north I now noticed a large white glow behind the clouds looking back in the direction where I had earlier seen the flash. This was to my left and to the west. The position of the glow would have been over Opleika where I saw the flash.

Then suddenly to my front, again the north, a very large 'V' shape flashed in the sky just over the tree tops, again about 1/4 way up from the horizon. It was a very wide and yellow-white flash that lasted about 2-3 seconds. It was very plain! It seemed to be less than a mile in front of me. The shape of the 'V' reminded me of Texas Long Horn cow horns. The ends of the 'v' curved slightly upward. It was perfect shaped on both sides, I mean both sides were identical.

I looked at the clock and it was 11:28. I began looking for a mile marker sign and the first one I saw was mile marker 148.

Gigantic disk craft hovering over pond

In approximately 2005, when I was around 13 years old, I woke in the middle of the night to observe a bright, intense blue light shining through the windows at the front of my family’s single-wide trailer. The light extended down the hallway in front of my bedroom door. To my best recollection, the power to our home was off. I got out of bed, walked through the living room and into the kitchen—approximately a 20 or 30-foot distance in a single-wide trailer. From the small kitchen window to the left of the front porch, I looked out through a thin woodline of pine trees located directly across the road from the trailer. (Go to Google maps street view on this address. You'll see exactly what I'm describing.)

Beyond these pine trees, I saw a large metallic disk-shaped craft hovering above a pond in a cow pasture on the other side of the road. The craft was massive—at least as large as the pond itself—and it emitted bright, bluish-purple lights that appeared to rotate around the craft.The best description I can offer is that it resembled a welding arc, flickering off surfaces much like a welder’s arch would.

My memory beyond this point is unclear. I do not recall seeing the craft depart, nor do I remember returning to bed. My next recollection is waking up in my bed the following morning and immediately telling my mother what I had seen. Her response, as I remember it, was along the lines of, “Maybe it will happen again.” She did not appear to doubt me at the time.

Years later, I revisited this experience by discussing it again with my mother. Surprisingly, she recalled a detail that I do not: namely, that I told her the craft landed, and that I walked outside to meet its occupants, who supposedly told me I would be working with them in the future. I do not personally remember making any such statement.

I have a strong history of mental health, over a decade of experience in full-time software development and also currently serve as a college professor. I also hold a TS/SCI clearance and have been employed under contract by major intelligence contractors, including Booz Allen Hamilton, Jacobs and some mil entities such as HT-JCOE. My credentials are backed by extensive investigations and lifestyle screenings. While I cannot explain what happened to me, I am confident in what I initially witnessed. After watching a recent documentary that mentioned how only one in ten people report similar experiences, I felt compelled to document and submit my own account.
