brief star like light to the left of sun

driving and saw star like object to the left of sun, exact time was not noted. Observed to the immediate left of the sun and appeared brighter but much smaller. (comparable to the planets that were so bright in the early morning skies over the past several months.) This was a day sighting however, and only saw for several seconds then it was gone.

Looked all around for it but did not see it again. Did notice a thin clooud-like trail a good distance to the left that curved up and through an actual small cloud, and right above that cloud it ended. not sure if it was part of the cloud but it did not appear to be a typical cloud attribute, closest example is like a nike swoosh? It did seem practical by its placement that it could have been created by what we saw. other wittness was wife.

Triangle Shaped craft between Opp and Andalusia

Me and my girlfriend were driving home from the Movie Theatre in Andalusia and we saw this triangle shaped craft with a blue light on the left and a red light on the right both lights were flashing. There were a few lights underneath the craft. It hovered for a few minutes above the trees and follwed the car until about the Opp city Limits, where it moved off and then disappeared. Most people I have told this too say it is a helicopter or airplane. There was no sound, and there aren't any airplanes around this area that can hover for a few minutes. If it were a helicopter you could have heard the sound of the blades but there was nothing but silence.

Strange stationary lights in the sky.

I noticed several objects in the sky about the size of stars. However, they were blinking from red to blue to white rather quickly. I assumed they were normal aircraft at first, but they didn't move. I checked hours later and they were in the same spot. One appeared larger and I assume it was closer. Upon magnified viewing of the closest one, I could make out 3 lights side by side.

Mostly stationary blinking lights(one set in a formation) seen in rural Alabama sky with two seperate witnesses.

I'm 20 years old and I live in a rural area in northwest corner of Covington County Alabama. My home is about 30 minutes west of Ft Rucker which is a military installation that is the top training ground for helicopters in the US.

That information is important because I'm fairly familiar with the racing lights in the sky that often come with living near air force bases that are used heavily for combat training. It's not odd to go out into the night air and see several flashing lights floating around with the stars.

That being said I'll begin my account of the last two nights. I stayed up all last night in effort to cram for a biology midterm(I'm a big fan of science, a believe in natural causality and a doubter of the supernatural, but I'm still interested in it I assure you, but as a man of logic it makes perfect sense that there would be other intelligent life in this universe.) I walked outside 4 or 5 times last night in order to take a break and get some air, I noticed in what I think is the eastern sky near Orion, a light that was flashing red/blue at an alarming speed, it didn't seem to move. I found it curious but I turned my eyes back to the world of Biology and didn't think twice about it.

Tonite I am again up studying calculus and I just made the first of what I'm sure will be multiple trips out into the night, and what I saw moved me to the point that I decided to email you. I looked back to Orion and saw that the light was still there, but to my shock not far above it was another and a ways to the left there was another, much brighter. I then scanned the sky and counted another 9 or 10 scattered in all directions. These lights are in no way familiar to our area.

They also were not moving, but all flashing in the same manor.

I called my friend ((name deleted)), who also lives in a secluded area about 10 miles south , and asked him to take a look into the stars. He saw them as well and it startled him just as it had me. He went a step farther and got out a pair of binoculars and found three rows of tiny blinking lights near the big dipper, I followed his lead and found the same thing.

I've seen some strange things in the sky, but I'm going to say that this one takes the cake.

Witnessed a Dark Circle moving North to South - with what may have been a Light shining Upwards.

Me and my two children were lying on our trampoline at about 22:00 hours on a beautiful beautiful summer night. We were watching a metorite shower since this is one of the best times to view one all year long, (being usually the first week in August of every year). Anyway, we live near the U.S. Army's traing base of Ft. Rucker and that night and many other nights had witnessed numerous rotary wing and fixed winged crafts. We had seen what we though that night to even be a satellite or two ,-- but anyway back to the story we knew what we were looking at and the Northeast corner of the sky is where our attention was that particular night. My Son , 12 years old at the time was the first to see "it", he said "look at that - pointed to almost the same place of the meteor shower, and what we saw was a perfectly round dark/black object with maybe some sort of illumnination shing up above the craft. It was moving basically North to South and we witnessed it for maybe five seconds. The size of the object was approximately the size of a silver dollar or say maybe if you make the O.K. size with you your hand the circle your create is close to the size. We noticed no noise and after it left our field of view we all felt like we had witnessed something very unusual. My 13 year old Daughter was witness to this also. What makes this very unusual, if that is the correct word, is that I was talking to a coworker - was was also out looking at the metorite showers that week and I was telling him about what we saw on Tuesday night of that week and he said his Son had said to him on Thursday Night of that week "Dad you will not believe what I just saw ? It looked like a Dark Circle going East to West". Well when my friend told me that it solidified my thougts that we had indeed seen something very unusual that could not be ex explained and would definitely fall into the catagory of a U.F.O. . All I ask is -- I sincerely want to find out if anyone has any idea of what we witnessed .??? Please notify me ??? I have tried to contact MUFON and report this to them and all the sent me was a membership form -- get real -- no wonder people do not report these sort of things. Sincerely, ((Name deleted))
