moving in a quick v shape movement to return back to where I first saw it.

I Was standing outside watching the stars and I saw a object with white & red lights moving from North to south moving in a straight line then it made a quick v shaped movement on its right side then moved back to where I first saw it. It stayed there in place over an hour I couldn't make out the shape of it. It was to far away but could see the red and white lights.

About 4 weeks ago I also saw red and white lights hovering above the mountain close to what I saw last night. It hovered about 15 minutes the slowly went down like it was landing on the other side. I could make out the shape it looked to be disc shaped.

This is the only two times that I saw something that I couldn't explain in the sky..
