Several round objects were circling each other passing each other back-and-forth, stopping starting then all of a sudden they were gone

The sighting was high in the north east sky. There were several round objects, flying back-and-forth and all around they didn’t seem to have any type of pattern. They were passing back-and-forth of each other dipping up and down going north the south east west it lasted for about 10 to 12 minutes and then they just sort of finished. I tried to look at them with binoculars, but they didn’t appear to have any other shape and a bright circle.

It started out as scattered random light flashes, them we witness a massive triangle roughly 2 1/2 ft long per side and there are now 2 of the triangles joining and several dozen smaller aircraft are coming out of this thing. I am sober, and a vet. Perfect psych report, we arec witnessing this Rifht now. It's happening. Our cell phone cameras aren't picking them up they're to faint but look into this you have to.

Stationary Craft of a luminous appearance at high altitude

It was around 5-5:30 in which my family and I (my father and eldest sibling) were heading out to pick up some Afghan food in Dublin/Livermore. We headed out via Camino Tassajara Road (Country side region) where we passed Tassajara Hills Elementary School and the soccer stadium nearby, as reference markers.

A few minutes later, while listening to music, I looked to my left and saw a stationary object of pure light hovering at a high altitude. Note too, there was a radio on with my family members talking, but neither was too loud to completely overwhelm my senses. Regardless, no obvious sound, movement, or even the common “position lights” of common aircraft were apparent — non-existent. I recorded this object for around 43 seconds, but had my eyes on it some seconds more prior. Even when I wasn’t recording and looked with my naked eye, I could tell there was no movement whatsoever. In regards to the video, it is wobbly given the rough, hilly road, so I do apologize for that, but hope it helps.

Now first and foremost, I must inform whoever sees this: there are no signal towers that are of that altitude, nor multiple in the distance that could breach these clouds, or be apparent (usually “dim” but still noticeable, however, not like this), no position lights, thus no aircraft, nonetheless, seemed “odd”. Usually you can see a dark dot to indicate a general idea of form, with objects of our knowledge in this time of day (while being overcast, there was a good portion of light left). While some may rule this out as a helicopter, signal tower, etc, none seem viable.

Tiny moon shaped light in eastern sky, not moving, then disappeared after ten minutes.

I saw a circle of light, just before the sun was up, in the eastern sky, south of where the sun would rise. It caught my eye because it was perfectly round and not moving, bigger than any star, like a tiny moon. I got out my binoculars for a better look. Perfect circle, looked like a dandelion with points of light over an open framework. It did not move. I watched for 10 minutes and then it sort of folded over and vanished. Just disappeared, no trail, no streak, just gone. Took a photo with iPhone. In the photo it shows a circle within a circle.

I was taking out our trash containers to the curb and I just happened to look up a bit and reddish lights caught my attention.

At first I thought it was military aircraft but then noticed that the lights were steady and no signs of strobes.

I quickly ran into the house to grab my cell phone to record video but my wife called me right as I was trying to film them. As I looked up the lights were dimmed out and you could only see a real faint white glow of the craft.

They were moving steady and average speed of planes from Harrodsburg, KY, towards Junction, KY. NW to SE.

I watched them until I could no longer see them any longer. No sound what so ever. Clear skys.

Small bright light moving slowly and disappearing.

Came outside to talk to my mother because I thought I heard my name when during our conversation I looked up to look at the stars and facing away from the house, I saw an extremely bright but small light just slowly inching it's away across the sky. At first, I thought it was just a small star until I saw it start moving. Then I thought it was a plane but saw no blue or red lights blinking. It was also moving TOO slow to be a plane. Then just as I was about to tell my mother, it vanished. I tried to find it and soon it appeared a few feet from its first location and it was extremely bright again and still moving slowly. I managed to get my mother to look but it had already vanished and you could just faintly see a soft light if you strained your eyes enough but my mother couldn't.

3 solid lights small dull ( like tinny stars ) perfectly spaced moving very fast silently

3 lights in perfectly straight line, dull like background stars (not very bright), flew past us, first guess was planes in formation or 3 satellites, but the lights were dull not blinking (solid) the dots were small and length from one end to the other appeared to us as massive. This did not appear to be close to us but very high in the sky. No clouds in the section it flew over as we were looking right at the big dipper and other stars. I started to run in its departing direction to take a picture. My camera took a front facing shot of my shirt while I was running at it. I got the time and geo tag, but no picture of it before it disappeared.

Oval object with two glowing lights slowly traveling down low.

We were about to leave to go to my grandma's when my dad called for us to come outside. It was already dark out, keep in mind. I came outside with my other sibling. We observed an oval hovercraft, quite medium-sized and hanging low. It was a dark blue but I think that was because it was dark out and there was no light on it really besides the giant two lights underneath it. They were circular but they didn't cast light below, just seemed to glow on the hovercraft.

I was attempting to bring out my phone but felt compelled to not take it out and record for some reason.

After it had passed over the trees, I got my phone out and was confused why I couldn't take it out to record it when it was going by. It made no noise and traveled slow.

Two unusual bright lights seen from passenger jet that just strangely winked out

I was in a window seat 10A on Delta flight 3760 from Minneapolis, MN, to Knoxville, TN. We had just begun our descent over southern Kentucky, when I saw two bright lights, slightly off white, over the left wing at what I would guess would be 1-2 miles away..

At first, I thought it could be two other aircraft with their approach light on. However, there were no red or green navigation lights and the brightness and separation did not change over time. The two lights appeared to track along at the same speed as our aircraft.

After watching these lights for about two minutes, one of the lights disappeared instantly. I watched the second light and after about 10 seconds it also disappeared instantly.

I've flown quite a bit and seen many aircraft and navigation lights and these did not look like anything I've ever seen. As I exited the aircraft, I asked the pilot if he observed any unusual lights out the left side of the aircraft during the descent. He said no and ! that there are a lot of lights out there.

I turned onto my road from my drive way. As soon as I straightened up, I saw it. I thought what in the heck is that!! I drove several miles and it never moved. I pulled over and took several pictures with my phone. One picture took but it appeared as a large light source and did not have the borders that were so plainly seen with the naked eye. It appeared as it was hovering over my city. As I got to town, I picked up my riders as I'm a Medi-caid driver. I picked up 3 passengers and I immediately began to describe what I saw. They didn't seem to interested until I pulled up to the stop sign and I said, OK then what is that? They all said Oh my God, what is that? WE sat there for a few moments observing it. It appeared it was not moving but stationary. There were no stars in the sky making this a phenomenal sight. The outer portion of the main part of the object was outlined in green lights. It looked like a children's top that you pushed on the top and it would spin on the floor. The top had a light orange on it. You could see the outline of what appeared as fins. They had no lights on them but it appeared as a silhouette of light coming from the body. They appeared to be the shape of a point on a 5 point star that you would draw. I was extremely excited as I've always wanted to see a UFO. At the same time I was scared. I didn't know what it's purpose was and were there a lot of these throughout the nation or just over Danville. I called the police on 911 and explained what I was seeing. They asked where i was and I told them and they said they would have an office come out. I told the dispatch lady an officer doesn't need to come where I'm at just tell him to go out of the building and he'll see it.

When I got back into town I called the police station. They said that the night shift, whom I talked with DID NOT leave any messages about a strange light. I thought, "that's crazy"!

I then called the radio station and they gave me the same message. I thought if any one was outside! this morning, they would have seen this thing. As I watched it, I had the unusual feeling that it wanted to contact me. It scared me as I did not know what it's intentions were. Was it friendly, were they violent, etc.

Giant object hiding behind clouds.

This evening, my family and I went to Danville, Va, to watch a movie. Upon exiting the theater, my sister pointed out an extremely strange shadow beyond the clouds of a thunderstorm. The enclosed photos show details of an object with extremely sharp edges with protrusions. Judging by the shadow that was visible, I estimate the object to be the size of a Mountain if not larger. Several other patrons were exiting the theater at the same time and noticed the shadow cast on the sky. Once we got in our vehicles, we went to another location in the city to enjoy the afternoon sunset before the thunderstorm got to Danville.

Again we observed the shadow. Once home while using Google earth, the direct line of distance to the second sighting location of the shadow is 2.66 miles. Using the Dan River as a sight tool and observing the radar display of the storm cell on the Weather Channel app, I was able to determine the cloud base to be between 10 to 15 miles west of our location. I have lived in extremely mountainous terrain and also visited nearly all major metropolitan cities in the US. With that being said, I have never observed such a shadow being cast in the sky during sunset by either of the two. There are no jagged mountain peaks such as you would think that would cast such a shadow in Virginia, only gently rolling hills.

The highest point in Virginia is Mount Rogers at 5,729 feet above sea level. Mount Rogers is approximately 120 miles due west of the location of the second sighting. Again using Google earth, the direction of the shadow, the location of the storm cell, and using the river as a sight tool does no add up to any known land based objects being able to cast a shadow this high into the sky. Therefore, I concluded the object to be airborne and stationary. I also am able to rule out cloud formations as a cause due to not ever being able to recall a cloud produce such a pinpoint and exact shape across the sky. There were a total of 6 persons in my party who witnessed this anomaly. Their ages range from 13 to 55. The photos were taken by an Iphone 5s with HDR in the off, auto and on positions. The photos were taken just outside the theater. The time stamp indicated 20:04 on the first photo and 20:05 on the last.

There were 8 photos of this on my phone when I downloaded them at home. I was unable to obtain photos from the second viewing site because I left my phone in the car to charge. Whatever it was, It was enormous.

Coming home on back roads my friend and I spotted a strange bright white light from the distance. The closer it came we noticed 3 white lights and a small red light were on the ufo shaped like a triangle.

I was driving, but my friend noticed faint lights connecting all three triangles. We stopped the car curiously as it flew over, soon after my friend watched it disappear into thin air.

It was cloudy tonight,not being able to see stars or any other planes, so it had to be low. A minute after it disappeared it reappeared where we first saw it. Then after that we lost it.

White light descends quickly ~10nm away from aircraft, both pilots spot it

I am a student pilot who, on the 24th, just after sunset, took off from KDAN (Danville Regional Airport) in Danville. VA, with my instructor, and flew southeast, possibly towards the town of Milton, for ten or so minutes. Aircraft flown was a PA28-181 Archer III under VFR.

We continued flight for about a minute after leveling off at around 3500 feet MSL. Off the front of the aircraft, possibly around ten or so miles out, both my instructor and I saw what appeared to be a white light descending quickly (~1000' per second) for a period of about two seconds. It appeared to be transitioning through the same altitude as our aircraft.

After two seconds had passed, it flared out as would ash from a cigarette falling to the floor. The skies were dark at the time so it was easy to see. It was not clear if it had flared out before making contact with the ground, or if it had disappeared into the trees. It may have either fallen somewhere in North Carolina, or on the NC/VA border.

As for the light itself, it appeared to be a pure white color, nonchanging. From what I could tell, it didn't appear to be completely circular - I have vision corrected to 20/20 with glasses, but my eyes could have been playing tricks on me when it came to the shape of the object, due to flaws in observation or due to the fact that it was a ways out.

My instructor called it "round."

I and 7 other passengers was driving back from Georgetown, Ill. to Danville, ILL. around 22:40 on October 18th 2014. When driving north, I looked to the north east to see what just appeared out of a black sky above the tree line was a pinkish-red color sphere levitating in the air. I thought it might had been a plane exploding, but never changed it's color nor fell to the ground.

It stayed the same color and levitated in one spot, It was brighter then the stars. it was brighter then the red beacon lights on the towers.

it lasted approximately 15 to 30 seconds, then noticed it disappeared with no sound and no movement.

Extremely large, quiet, triangle shaped UFO cpotted in Pittsylvania County, VA.

At approximately 11:30 p.m. while stargazing for the Camelopardalid meteor shower, I noticed a light moving into my line of sight. The UFO was moving NNW to SE at a steady pace. I would not necessarily have thought UFO, but several things struck me as odd: Firstly the size.

The UFO appeared to be HUGE. I have no standard of comparison for something in the sky, however, this was much bigger than any plane or helicopter that I've seen in my experience. The only other conclusion I could come to is that it was flying low, but even still that wouldn't explain the sound, the hushed blowing sound that accompanied it. There was barely any sound to it, like when you run a clothes dryer with a load of towels. (Sorry, just using things I can compare it to here!)

I looked up videos of B2s at night and flight shows just in case I may have seen one of those for some reason and the lighting doesn't resemble what the videos show, although the shape is similar.

As for lights, there were 4, 2 on each wing tip, 1 white, 1 red.

Unfortunately, I had a camera set up facing north for the meteor shower, and had my phone on my person at the time - once I saw the object I stood transfixed. I felt unable to move or even think. I'm not sure if I was just startled by the size of the UFO or what.

White Lights no sound

January 8, 2014 On January 6 at 10:15 P.M. I stepped outside to have a cigarette; as soon as I opened the door I saw bright white lights almost directly above me. The craft was traveling East at about 400-500 feet and moving at around 40 miles an hour. The strange thing I immediately noticed was there was no sound coming from the craft. No Doppler effect from Jet engines, no prop sounds.

The craft had several white lights on steady and one slow flashing light on the back. I could not see any on the front.

Most of the air craft I see are high fly jets, moving North to South or further to the East from South to North. This craft was heading East.

We do have fighter jets that every once and awhile heading to Smyth Mountain Lake Damn on (from what we have heard) bomber training. The shake the house and you can hear them for miles after.

Last night I stepped outside again at 9:30 and the craft was there again. This time further away but heading East and at the same altitude. I watched until it was at the horizon through the trees, then it headed South.

I didn’t put it together at the time, but the first I saw the craft I cam back inside and told my wife. She has had some health issues lately but, nothing to bad, but it keeps me on edge. About one half hour after telling her, she sat forward in her chair and held her head. I asked her if she was OK. She told me she felt light headed and her stomach felt queezy. As she was telling me, my head started feeling light and my stomach felt like I was on a roller coaster. The symptoms went away with 10 minutes.

Last night as the lights faded away I was getting ready to go back inside and my lips started to tingle, my head felt a little light and my stomach felt a little strange.

I am not a believer in UFO’s from other planets, I do believe in government black ops.

The hardest thing I have a hard time with is that there was no sound at all. I know it wasn’t a blimp as I’ve heard those before. It wasn’t a plane or jet. I could make out any shape, besides what looked like a tail of a plane. The white light had a strange appearance, almost a glow more that light. It didn’t spin or make any strange movments.

Sunday night I watched a slow moving object with a line of lights approaching my house as I stood outside on my front porch. It was low in the sky and silent.

As it came overhead three of the lights underneath were like the points of a triangle and there were several other scattered lights among them in a variation of colors.

It was gone in a flash and made a brief noise at that point.

On Wednesday 11/26/13 Bright light in the sky it did not move sky was clear I watched it for about 10 min.

WENT BACK IN THE HOUSE TOLD MY SISTER TO LOOK AT IT OUT THE WINDOW STILL HAD NOT MOVED HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE.

We Looked again and it had moved to the west a little latter we could not see it beecause it went behind a house I have never seen anything like this before I have 2 pictures of it.

Located two vertical line shaped UFOs outside of Danville.

I was nine miles outside of Danville near Milton, NC, with a friend just driving around in the AM. Went to the end of a road and turned around, drove about five minutes back to a T intersection I had passed previously that morning. Two lines appeared an estimated two hundred yards away in a grass field, containing 3 dots of light each. One of the lines was red and the other was white (and strobing). Lines were separated about one hundred yards horizontally. The red lights were obviously touching the ground, however, the white lights remained a constant three to five feet above the ground, and nearest to a tree line.

We stopped for a moment and my friend shined a light in the direction of the objects but we still couldn't clearly make them out. Eventually, we left, wondering what we'd seen. I didn't stay to find out what it was, because I got an incredibly bad feeling about what was going on.

Slow moving glow in night sky

I am an Amateur Radio Extra Operator.

On the evening of September 22, 2012 @ 0755 central time, I stepped out of my ham shack for a little break. The door to my ham shack is facing east. It was dark outside and the moon was low in the South West at the time.

I noticed a reddish, orange glow in the sky above my garage. The glow was located about 50 degrees off of the horizon in the northeast direction which is about 15 degrees north from my ham shack. This glow seemed to be moving in a south east direction. When I first noticed the glow, it was fairly large and when it disappeared it was about ¼ its original size.

I watched it move across the sky for about 3 to 5 minutes before it seem to completely disappear. About a minute before it disappeared, I ran to my house and alerted my wife who also witnessed it for about one minute before it disappeared. When it disappeared it wasn’t due to it going over the horizon, it was like a switch was turned off and it disappeared about 30 degrees over the southeast horizon.

The glow seemed to have a small tail on it and it appeared to be glowing. This tail was more dominate while the glow was in the northeast sky than it was in the south east sky; it reminded me of a Chinese lantern. I could not tell how high it was due to lack of clouds or anything else to gauge its distance from. I do remember that there was no sound at all from the glow.

The glow seemed to moving in a straight line, there was no noticeable maneuvering from the glow.

I was raised on various USAF bases around the world for 18 years, and then served 16 years in the US Navy. I have seen lots of aircraft in the sky at night but this type of glow I have never seen before.

I walked outside to smoke a cig and saw a bright light in the sky. I though my eyes was playing tricks on me after walking out into the dark, so I waited to see if it was a jet or planted or whatever. after only a sec in the dark my eyes had adjusted and I could see this bright flashing light had a red green and blue type colored light flashing and spinning around the outside of it. it was hovering in the sky and every few mins it would move side to side and looked as if it was shooting out some type of light or lazier beam. I took two videos with my cell phone but was not sure if anything was going to show up because nothing showed up on my cell phone screen while i was shooting the video's. after a lil over 30'mins " Im thinking " tha "light" shot across the sky and was gone.. I come inside and got my ipad to see what stars or plants were in the sky in the spot where the UFO had been. I was already at a loss for words, the constellation Orion was the exac! t spot the UFO had been in and the direction it flu off in. so I put the SD card from my cell in my laptop and open my videos, I find the one I just took at the bottom of the list, number 33. the bright light i saw the hole time only shows up in the video as flashes a few times but the thing i dont understand and kinda freaks me out is after 5 or 10 sec in the video its big flashes of light and stuff, i dont know what to call it, light, flying at the camera. im going to take another video in the dark just to make sure my camera/cell dont do anything thing odd shooting in the dark. it seems all a lil corny, constellation Orion ,Video 33. I was driving home from work from Lexington Ky to Danville Ky on highway 27, I was going around 60 mph when to my right, another words the passenger side of my vehicle, I saw a orb, about the size of a truck tire, and it was bright orange, almost red, fly past me at ungodly speeds, if i had to guess i say 400mph, my eyes focused on it till i lost sight of it which wasn't long, maybe 5 seconds......

I heard/saw stories on TV, of people seeing this stuff, but i thought they were all crazy people, till i saw it, and this changed my views on everything, I didn't see a actual craft, but it was just like a ball of orange bright light, and it was beautiful, I no this thing wasn't man made, nor fireworks, nor a meteor shower. this thing was not from here, it stayed at the same height off the ground which i say was 50ft and rose up to go over a hill and i lost sight of it.......very strange.... just wanted to post this due to it has been on my mind every since it happ! Woke up to bright light shining into house coming from the sky.

About two months ago my husband was awaken in the night/early morning to a VERY bright light. He jumped out of bed thinking someone was in our driveway and shining their headlights in our windows. He went out into our family room and was shocked to find the entire house was lit up with a whitish, bright light. There was no noise associated with this light and it was like it was coming from the sky. This light lasted long enough to wake him up and for him to go into another room and realize that it was not what he initially thought. The next day when he told me, I was thinking that it had to be a car or something, but we didn't talk about it any further and shrugged it off. Later that day I was talking to a neighbor friend and casually and half jokingly asked her if she saw a bright light last night. She gave a humorous response so I explained what my husband saw. She than told me that 3 or 4 years ago she saw the same thing. it woke her up and she tried to look around her house and outside to see what it was and figured it was something in the sky. When she went to work the next day she was talking to her co-workers about what she saw and a lady that lives 3 towns over, East Burke, saw the same thing. Well, sometime between April 1-April 5 (we honestly have not been keeping track so we cant remember what night it was) my mother, who was visiting from AZ, was lying awake in her bed and all the sudden there was a bright light that lit up the room. She thought something was wrong with the barn light, but then realized that a light would not have lit up the room like that, plus the light was coming from the sky. She laid there waiting to hear a helicopter fly by, but there was no noise with the light. That morning she came downstairs and asked my husband if he saw the bright light. He immediately got goosebumps and said no, but I know exactly what you are talking about. He explained what he had seen prior and also what our neighbor friend saw. We didnt go any further into discussing it besides making the obvious jokes.

That brings us to the last "sighting" that is now making us question what the heck this is. Our neighbor friend came over yesterday and told us that her husband fell asleep on their couch watching tv the other night when he was awoke by a bright light. It lit up their room and he got up and looked outside thinking there was something going on outside. He mentioned it to his wife the next day, but didnt seem to interested in discussing it further.

Obvious non-human air craft

Last night a friend and myself were going outside for a smoke when we noticed a very unusual light in the far distant sky that was a circle from what we could see.. It was just hovering and moving in up and down, side to side motion. We then noticed that there were planes that were coming around and then circling the craft.

After maybe 20 minutes a second and third one appeared, however they left just as quickly as they had came. There were also beams of light that kept flying overhead. Too many to be shooting stars.

At about 2:00 am, there was a big beam of light that fell from the sky then became very large and turned bright green with a ring around it right above the tree line. Then it vanished.

My friend and I said to each other we had both had times that we could say “might have been ufo’s” but this was most defiantly the clearest it has ever been to seeing such an event that we could not move from where we stood.

Shortly after the object that had been hovering disappeared behind the trees over a field where there is a river that runs through our city. And there was no more activity of any planes or anything after that.

A DIAMOND SHAPED OBJECT HOVERED SIDE BY SIDE IN THE SKY FLYING UP FOR 1 HOUR.

THIS MORNING AROUND 4:00 AM I SAW A UFO IT WAS LIKE A DIAMOND THAT HOVERED SIDE TO SIDE IN THE SAME SPOT FOR OVER ONE HOUR. IT HAD BRIGHT LIGHTS THAT KEPT BEAMING THEN IT APPREARED LIKE IT WAS GONNA FLY AWAY BUT, IT JUST KEPT GOING SIDE TO SIDE. THEN IT MOVED UP AND DOWN AND BEGIN TO FLY JUST A LITTLE BIT THEN IT STOPPED. AND STAYED THERE IN THE ONE AREA FOR AN HOUR.

AS DAYBREAK APPROACHED IT WENT FUTHER AWAY LIKE A DISTANCE WHICH WAS HARDER TO SEE. THIS SIGHTING OF THE UFO WAS OVER THE SIDE OF THE DAN RIVER MILLS HERE IN DNVILLE VIRGINIA. IT WAS AWSOME! I FEEL LIKE I MADE CONNECT WITH THIS SPACE CRAFT. BECAUSE IT WANTED ME TO SEE IT. WHEN I LIVED IN NORTH CAROLINA ON THE MOUNTAIN WHERE I GREW UP WE SAW A FLYING SAUCER IT WAS THE FIRST TIME I SEEN A UFO THEN. IT WAS EARLY AND IT WAS VERY COLD THAT MORNING, IT WAS WINTER TIME, THE UFO FLEW ACROSS THE SKY UP ABOVE A PINE TREE IN THE YARD, IT LOOKED LIKE THE JETSON SPACE SHIP. IT FLEW IN HALF OF A CIRCLE AND IT! WAS MOVING SO FAST BEYOND THE DETERMINATION OF SPEED. BUT IT LET US SEE IT. I WAS VERY EXCITED WHEN I SAW THE UFO IT FLEW ON THE RIGHT SIDE THEN WENT AWAY. Rectangular craft seen on October 29, 2010 in Danville, Kentucky

I was walking out from work to take my morning break in my car with a fellow co-worker. It was daylight and approximately 8:10-830 in the morning. I looked up because the moon being visible in the daylight caught my eye. Then I looked to the left of the moon and saw a rectangular object hovering overhead. It was clear enough that I could make out it was rectangular in shape. It was silent and seemed to be gliding or hovering very slowly. It was not flat and there was something underneath it more like a square shaped box attached to the rectangular portion. It was silvery white and very shiny. It was not very high up but there was a haze and glare that prevented me from seeing clear details. I said to my friend what is that? Could it be a plane? I really couldn't believe what I saw. She looked up, but as we were both continuing to walk towards my car our view became obstructed by trees. I said lets get on the other side of these 2 trees, you have! to see this so I'll know I'm not crazy. It only took us approximately 5 seconds to get past the tall trees. After I cleared the trees it took me a few seconds to find it. It was way higher up and way off in the distance and now looked like a distant shining star. My friend said where is it. I tried to point it out to her but within seconds it traveled so fast it became what looked like a distant star to completely vanishing. My friend never got a glimpse of it. We continued on to my car for our break. The more I thought about it the more strange I felt. I am sure it was not any kind of aircraft that I have seen before. I have never seen a UFO but this is definitely what I would classify it as. After about 5 minutes we got out of the car to walk back into work. My friend looked up and there was a jet in the sky and she jokingly said maybe its chasing your UFO. I laughed, but then looked to the left farther out in the sky and I said to her look at that. We both saw! approximately 6-8 jets extremely close together all traveling! in the same direction and towards the direction that I lost sight of the UFO about 5 minutes prior. My friend said now that is really weird, because it looks like they are chasing the UFO that you saw only minutes before. We both stood there dumbfounded. I have never seen that many jets so close together and especially all traveling in the same direction. I feel that it was a bit strange and coincidental. I am really confused as to what I saw and still cannot believe it. It seems so unreal.

I was at my office that is located on a hill top faceing the Dan River and the old Dan River Mills complex that is being torn down. I was looking out of the office window because i was waiting for a friend to show up at any moment, as i was looking in the direction of the mill, a huge oval shaped object appeared above the mill complex. This object was very large and very bright whitish and somewhat gold in color.The entire object was illuminated. The object was completely still in its location. This lasted for about a minute and then the object disapeared as if turning a light out.A few minutes later the object reappeared again in the same exact position and location.This time the object appearence lasted for about 2 to 3 minutes before disapearing.This was not the last time i would see this object,the second appearence was with a wittness.

Bright green "fireball" seen overhead and headed towards woodline; no crash, whistle, or bang heard.

I was walking outside in my back yard to feed my dog when I saw a bright green object go over the trees. It resembled a comet or flare, but it was green. The object had the intensity of a welding torch, but did not burn my eyes; the tail behind was, as I stated earlier, a bright turquoise-green. I saw it out of the corner of my eye and watched it go over the tree tops. There was no boom, there was no whistle or pop, these led me to believe it was not a firework or bottle rocket.

In a possible unrelated event, a few minutes later, a plane came flying over from the horizon. All that were visible were the lights on it, but rather than flashing like a normal military or commercial plane, it flashed similarly to that of a police car. I didn't stick around to see where it was headed, as it was cold, so I went into the house.

My house is about 25 to 30 miles away from an air force base, but in the 10 years we've lived here, I've never seen anything like the green light.

Bright flickering sphere without sound stays in position for almost 5 minutes.

A bright flash caught my eye so i looked up and saw it. It faded in and out of brightness a few times. It was not a blink, or a timed fading. More like it flickered in stages from light to dark. It did not change position until the last flash of light that was shorter than the others. There was no sound. There was light cloud cover, and this object was below that, so i would have heard if it was a helicopter because it appeared about half a mile above me. As soon as it vanished there were three planes in row heading west, and a helicopter moving back and forth north to south. All of which I could hear.

I was peacefully observing the snow fall on a cozy winter's eve. Then my wife and I noticed a strange flashing green light in the distance. The green light was flashing on and off and moving all around the sky, such as an out of control airplane might do. The strange green light continued persistently for about an hour. The experience for both my wife and me was quite amazing. Not a word was uttered from our lips until the unusual, yet miraculous light ceased. The light vanished as suddenly as it appeared, and the awe inspiring event has been, and will be forever engraved in the depths of my mind.*

Hovering object with red and white, very bright lights followed by 2 possible airplanes.

A 2 cylinder type shaped object with red and white , very bright lights appeared hovering in the sky. The object was not moving . As we observed to see what it was it suddenly disappeared. About 3 minutes later a new object appeared , very low in the sky so we thought it could not be an airplane . This new object was moving in and out of the cloud cover .

The new object seemed slightly different in shape , but still had very bright red and white flashing lights . After watching it , and then seeing another very similar type object we decided maybe it was a plane . It appeared something dropped out of the 2nd object , later I thought it was a falling star possibly. In total there were 3 items seen . 2 moving , possibly planes although incredibly low for jets . The first item , very unusal in shape and motionless other than flashing lights was a ufo of sorts and not a plane.

Huge, shiny, lights going counter clockwise intermittently Shiny No Displacement of Air Hovered Above me a few feet away. No Sound

Year 2007, 3rd week in June.

Finished a late bath took 2 dogs our for potty break. Looked up at stars looked North, West & when I looked South my eyes ran into a Huge Shiny Coppery colored Circular Ship with lights shining counter clock wise Intermittently. No sound & no displacement of anything no air blowing anything. Couldn't see anything except the ship.

I stood there Frozen in Shock. I didn't move an inch; my 2 dogs were just sniffing the ground & being still too.

It was soo big that I couldn't see anything past it. It was like a Huge double combine in my way of vision $ I didn't see anything past it, just above it.

I wasn't on any medication. I taught for 18 years & am retired now. I was 52 when I saw it. Now I'm 59 .

When it finally started to leave it went up slowly went sideways quickly 2 x's then sped off towards the Northwest then Disappeared from sight. Very Fast.

Far away stationary object seen then suddenly disappeared

On a relatively clear afternoon with some clouds in the sky and the sun shining brightly, I saw a stationary gleaming object to my west, at least a couple miles away in the clear blue sky, maybe 35 degrees above the horizon. It was so far that I could not make out the shape, but it looked as if it was reflecting sunlight off of it, and it was the size of a dot.

If I took my eyes off of it, I had to carefully scan the region of space again to find it. It was stationary. I did not ever see it move the entire time I watched it. However, when I looked away for a more extended period, perhaps 15 seconds, I could not find it again. There was no streak of vapor associated with it.

Dull yellow non flashing light traveling from south to north making no noise above the San Ramon Valley

My wife and I were watching the stars as there was no power for several hours when we saw this circle object flying from south to north in a uniform fashion. This object was light yellow in color and had no flashing lights and made no sound. If I had to guess I'd say that this object was traveling 1/3 to 50% faster than faster than a airliner at full cruising altitude but was much much higher. This object also made no sound and one point appeared to pass behind a star in it's travel.

A group of three bright lights, each moving a different direction.

Some friends and I were outside, cleaning up after a backyard barbeque, when my friend looked up and pointed out an apparent satellite. I looked up and saw it moving north to south, almost directly above, at approximately 80 degrees above the eastern horizon. It was moving steadily at about the same apparent speed one would expect from a satellite, but it was brighter, about like the magnitude of one of the planets. But as soon as I saw it, we observed 2 other similar objects in the same immediate area (within the diameter of a basketball held at arms length). Each object was traveling steadily at the same pace but in different directions. One to the south, one to the northeast, and one to the north. Within seconds, each one faded out and disappeared. I couldn't gauge their altitude, but they were way up there and silent. Not really an astounding sighting, but unusual. My friend is a sales consultant, I'm an architect and private pilot.

4 bright shiney cicular objects in a close knit group seen over Mt. Diablo in broad daylight.

While waiting at a stop light on Crow Canyon Rd. a couple blocks before Camino Tassajara Rd. looking North above Mt. Diablo, I saw 4 bright, shiney, circular objects moving away and up into the upper atomosphere. The 4 objects moved left and right amongst them although they stayed together in a group of 4 close together as they travelled. They were not moving like a formation of 4 planes. Also a jet liner travelled across the view, West to East,between me and the 4 objects, so I had a comparative object for size. The 4 objects continued their accent and were soon out of my line of sight. The weather was perfectly clear day with bright sunshine.

Faint but large boomerang shaped object then small star like object turning red

A boomerang shaped object caught my eye as I was outside on my back patio smoking a cig. It was faint and hard to see. I could not tell if it was low enough to be picking up ambient lighting from the city streets here where I live, or if it was emiting a faint glow of it's own. It looked very .....well it's hard to describe how it appeared....it looked like a made object, not an animal flying. It took a very straight path in the sky and traversed the whole sky in around 15 seconds. No sound. So if it was some kind of craft or plane, and it had conventional (earthly) engines that we are used to, it was way too high for me to hear, meaning that it was indeed flying at some crazy speed akin to 2000 mph. Weird. I have never ever seen anything like that before. The faintness of this object made it even eerier. I am dumbfounded. This object traveled in what looked like a nearly perfect north heading.

45 seconds after this, as I scanned the sky wanting to catch sight of this object again, a second object came into view. Looking to my north, this object faded into view and appeared to be a shooting star. It came from the direction that the first object was headed towards. At first I really thought it was a shooting star and noticed the coincidence of it happening right after me seeing that first object. The second object seemed to move at the same speed as the first...which was really fast. The way it faded into view really lended to my thinking that it was a shooting star coming into the atmosphere. This object looked as such for about 2 seconds, but then as it got nearly overhead of me it turned red in color and changed course with what looked like a 90 degree turn towards the east. It then continued east for about 1 second and then faded quickly from view. I have never ever seen a meteor make a turn before, I have seen them come into the atmosphere and slow down, turn colors, explode leaving trails of sparkles, but never eber change course, especially a 90 degree turn.

This is the first time I have ever seen anything like this in the sky. I look up to the sky all the time because I enjoy seeing the stars, I like astronomy and science. This has left me a bit confused and in disbelief. Im waiting for a logical explanation for this.

100 people saw a noen orange glowing saucer disappear into the hills.

It was very dark outside and we all looked up to see a bright, neon ornage saucer moving at a very slow rate into the hills. It hovered for maybe lessthan two minutes and then completely disappeared beyond the hills. It seemed like it was spinning very fast. It was not a lit up, it was actually glowing. There was now rays of light shining off of it. I was with about 100 people outside a park and all you could hear was screaming from all of my friends. There was also a little dome on top of the saucer. The bottom of the saucer was smooth and rounded. My friend took pictures. There were about 10 search planes in my area after it happened that were hovering very low. We also saw a military jet fly by. Something had to have happened.

A strange object hovered in the sky for approximately 10 minutes with a bright white light that pulsed fery slowly.

UFO hoovered @ approximately 10,000 feet up. Bright white light would pop on for approximately 2 minutes, then would slowly fade out, it did this repeatedly. After about 10 minutes of hovering in one place, it began to rise further into the sky, in a zig-zag motion, then took off at the rate of speed planes normally appear to be flying.

My wife and I were returning home from picking up our daughter from the babysitters house and were passing by a the Kentucky School for the Deaf on south second street when we noticed something out of place in the sky. My wife is a nurse and I have a BA from Centre College so I believe that we are both credible. It was a clear night sky with little or no moon which made the object stand-out even more. The best way to describe it was triangular in shape with lights at each corner. The reason we noticed it is that it was offset from the night sky. It appeared to be hovering and rotating in a counter-clockwise direction. The lights were not flashing but were steady. I was driving and slowed down to get a better look but our view was soon obstructed. We continued home (about 3 miles) and when we got out of the car we could still see the object. I went inside to get a camera while my wife took our daughter inside, but by the time I found our camera and got back outside it was gone. We can both honestly say that it was not a plane, helicopter, weather balloon, swamp gas (there are no swamps here), or anything else that belonged in the night sky. By the process of elimination it was an unidentified flying object.

Blue-green fireball with a tail to the NW headed down and to the west; appeared to be 13-17 miles away towards San Francisco Bay

I was headed north on I-680 at Sycamore Valley exit in Danville. In the NW, I saw a blue-green fireball with a tail descending at a steep angle (on a clockface it would have fallen through 7:00). It disappeared behind the hills above San Ramon Valley to the W and NW. The object was the size of a large star. With the arm outstretched and fingers on top and bottom of the tail, it would measure about 1 inch. It's light was about the same brightness as planes flying overhead. It was very visible though it was late dusk. (It was only slightly smaller and much brighter than Hale-Bopp appeared in the bay area.) My sense was that it was headed for the bay, which would have made it 13-17 miles away. I am a computer professional with no military nor pilot experience.

I witnessed a reddish ball hover for about 10 minutes after witnessing it streak across the sky like a shooting star. Then it appeared to have dropped a red light to the ground. Then it simply was gone.

I was frequenting one of my favorite hilltop locations as I very often did on evinings such as this one. I must admit the thought of UFO's never really crossed my mind. As a matter of fact I generally considered people who claimed to have seen a UFO to be some sort of weirdo starved for attention. However on this night it became quite clear to me that I too was now one of those "weirdo's". As I gazed across the beautiful night sky I saw what appeared to be a shooting star only it stopped "on a dime" at what appeared to be about three feet above the mountain top from the distance I was observing. In all actually the object which seemed to have grown from a white streak into a stationary reddish ball was probably about a half mile above the ground. I immediately excused the strange object as my own confusion between a shooting star that apparantly had brought my attention to a large planet mars perhaps. However the thought that I was witnessing something very strange quickly crept into my mind. There was no sound and absolutely no movement from the object for about 10 minutes. Then the reddish quarter of an inch ball seemed to blink releasing a sort of red light down to the ground. The light fell very slowly then dissappeared behind the horizon. I again focused on the red object only to see it dissappear as if the light was turned off leaving nothing behind. It did not exit in the same manner as it entered and the bright moon provided ample light to see an unlight object from where I was. I truly hope someone believes what I am saying or even has experienced something similar because I am quite disturbed by what I have witnessed. I dont believe any of the logical explanations I myself have come up with up to this point. I truly hope some of you can. The speed at which it entered, the precision of its stopping, the duration of motionless hovering, the lack of any audible sound, the lack of any recognizable aircraft-llike features( blinking lights, movement, etc. ), the strange light lowere! d from it, the strange reddish glow that seemed to make up the object and the immediate absence of its presence are all a mystery to me. I like to believe that I am rather intelligent but this is far beyond anything I can comprehind. Thank you for allowing me to share my experience with you. Outside on warm summer night with a high school friend. At the small farm house I grew up in outside of town. Everything was quiet, we heard no noise that was unusual. My dog who was near and was a good watch dog never barked. My friend and I turned around and looked up above the house. There was a very large saucer shaped craft hovering above the house. It was making no sound and was still. We both saw it and saw it emitting bright orange and red lights. We screamed and ran and saw it shoot off into the sky making no noise. On a separate occasion at this same house I stepped out the back door during the day. I saw a silver saucer shaped craft hovering still and soundless above the tree where my dog was tied out. The dog did not react. As soon as I looked at craft it darted off soundlessly. I noticed no lights.

Observed small upsidedown curved black teardrop with blue floresent crown hovering over highway 86 Danville.

I was in the car with my mother on Highway 85 going toward the mall when I spotted a black, upside down, curved, tearshaped object hovering over the highway. My mother, who was driveing, thought it might be a kite or a balloon and ignored it. I got a good look at it and it was a very strange shape. It didn't look like any kite or balloon to me. It had a blue floresent auric discharge over the top which realy made it UFO like...It was about 7ft tall and 3ft wide, hovering 500ft above the road. We drove right under it and continued to our destination. When we returned a few minutes later it was gone.

as the ufo took off at very high speed ,the jets coming in 10 to 15 minutes later meant it was definately something.

i am a ((public servant)) in the city of danville and i live in the county area which is a city address but still in the county.me and my brother in law were taking off the trash and when i got to the top of my road i took a right. as soon as i got on rt.863 (moorefield bridge rd.)i noticed an orange type round objcct just sitting about estimated 500 ft. in the air at a complete standstill. didnt really think nothing until we went under it and it looked very unreal.i asked my brother in law what he thought it was and he had no idea neither.i pulled off the road at on the corner of mt. cross rd. and rt.863. we got out and watched it just sit there.there was no colorfull lights like in the movies.it was one color from what i could see.we watched in amazement and couldnt beleive it. about 30 seconds into watching it, it started moving very slowly to the west back towards martinsville va. we watched it for about 10 seconds and it took off faster than i have ever seen anything before in my life. kind of like the startrek ent. did at the end of the show.afterwards we took off trash and went back home, and i told my wife what had happended.she thought i was full of it. about 15 minutes after we saw it take off, we heard a bunch of noise and went outside to see and it was about 10 to 15 jets flying in the same direction the ufo was flying. couldnt tell wheather it was military jets or not for it being dark.also before i forget the ufo made no noise whats so ever. so my queston is was it military all along just performing top secret stuff. i think not for it was to fast ,and the round shape of it and it making no noise at all.we are not that advanced yet anyways. somebody and i dont know who picked it up on radar and whatever military branch went to check it out.from the time we saw it fly away until the jets flew over my house was about a 10 to 15 minute span.my wife then believed us after what had happened because never have we seen that many jets at one time over our area and at that hour too. on another note ! the ufo more than likely could have been seen from my house.my brother in law is pretty much a loser and not a good reference to use but he happened to be there with me. but that is the coolest thing to ever happen to me. about a week later i told my brother who is a policeman in the city of danville va, and he told me he saw something flying over rt.836 before too. i wont go into that story though,but pretty akward huh.both of us are outstanding citizens in our community so take if for what its worth.that certain area is prone to weird stuff happening. about a weekbeforemy incedent me and my wife were coming home from going out to eat, and as soon as we got out of the car we heard a loud windy firey noise,and as i turned around i saw a great big fireball diving over the trees. a pretty close asteroid, and large one.not a ufo though but not a shooting star neither. once again something strange in that area,but that one is explainable.the other story is unexplainable. take it for what its worth .but it was dramatic for me and my brother in law. ill never forget it . if anybody wants a more elaborated story email me at ((e-address deleted)) on another short note i dont live at the that address anymore. i have no pictures or video but would be happy to draw a map and a description of the ufo if needed. just let me know.

Beautiful gold colored disk up close

I have seen several u.f.o. sightings over the years but never reported them until now. This is one of five of my sightings and the most spectacular one out of the five.

My friend and myself were heating and air installation employees who worked for Climate Control out of south boston at the time this took place. We were working on the sears building roof top,installing the last flue pipe on the job site that day.The sky was completely clear blue sky, no clouds anywhere, perfect visability! We had just picted up our tool belts and heading towards the roof top stair door, i noticed a craft that i had mistaken for a small airplane at a glance in the distance that had hovered around the old Dan River Mills smoke stacks located closest to the worsham st. bridge area, down in that direction.After catching my attention i noticed that the craft was moving in our direction, straight at us. The moment that i realized this object was not an airplane was when it began to turn on its side at a 90 degree angle with no drop in altitude and not in a turn such as an aircraft would do.The object turned 90 degrees on its side and then it turned back to a level position as it was moving towards us on the roof top of the sears building, and keep in mind, this object was just a little bit higher than we were at eye level.Once the object returned to a horizontal position it was close enough to be fully visable with much detail.Once the craft leveled ot to a horizontal position i yelled out to my work mate and i pointed str! aight at it in total shock and disbelief. At that moment the craft turned upwards on its side at a 45 degree angle and shot across the sky at a speed so fast that the object became a streak of white light accross the sky, and there was a noticeable point of exit at the end of the streak of white light. Where the object streak ended in the sky there was something like white stars of light that shot back towards the direction of the streak of white light.Also this streak of light was not a vapor trail it was a split second exit, aweome and unbelievable.The craft was a disk shaped object with small areas on the top side like dark rectangular shaped indentations and the same on the bottom side of the craft as well.The object was a beautiful gold color like the sun and the classic disk shape like in the old ufo movies.The object had an appearence of a somewhat dulling effect of the light around the object but plainly visable. This was the first time i had seen anything like this! before, and until then i was a skeptic, not anymore! I rememb! er feeli ng like a kid on Christmas morning, with a new exitement and outlook on the world we live in, and somewhat afraid as well now that i new these were more than just science fiction stories and folklore!

I had just left work and was visiting friend, while approaching their condo i was walking up steep hill >(leaning forward), bright light made me look up to see what it was I first looked up and thought to myself this is strange place for helicopter and kept walking about a second later i realized where is the sound? as this object was only a few hundred feet above me I what I witnessed was triangle shaped lights could not really see body of craft and there was one light that seemed to be part of triangle but it was removed by maybe 15 20 feet which is what first gave me indication of rotor "helicopter" I am aviator myself and can usally identify craft in night sky. I watched for maybe 10 seconds before it went vertical at speed I can't describe then horizontal and out of sight.

My sister and I saw an object that apeared to be 3 spheres connected togeather by a Y type of structure in the middle.

My sister and I were parked on an access road off of HYW 74 and just east of the GM plant. We were watching the annual fireworks display put on by the GM company. It was a clear night with a small amount of wind blowing from the west to the east. About 15 minutes into the show the light from some high fireworks lite up an object traveling from the east to the west. It looked strange and was traveling against the wind and didn't have any lights on. I was able to get a closer look at it with a pair of binoculars that I kept in the car. As the object passed over the GM plant the lights of the plant illuminated the object and gave us a better view. My sister and I took turns veiwing the object with the binoculars. We watched it until it faded into the darkness in the western sky. My sister and I then independantly made seperate drawings of what we saw. We then compared the drawing and they were the same. The object looked like 3 sphere's connected togeather by a Y type structure. One shere was attached to each end of the Y and the object appeared to rotate around the middle of the Y. There was'nt anyway to determine the size or speed or distance or color of the object. We only know what it looked like illuminated by the GM lights.

sister ans i were sliding in the snow;when this egg object landed;

sister and i were slideing in the snow. on the back road in danville n.h.when this egg like object landed; about 1/4 mile away.it stayed down for about 15 mins.came up and hovered above the trees for 5 more min,then it shot up straight up so fast like a flash.

then a airforce fighter plane flew over so close we could see the pilot and his gear.but by then the object was long gone.

to this day iwill never forget that; it is forged in my mind for ever

UFO OVER CORNFIELD IN 1963 IN DANVILLE, IN

THIS HAPPENED IN 1963 AND I WAS IN THE FORTH GRADE. WE KNEW NOTHING OF WHAT A UFO WAS SO THIS IS MY STORY.

MY COUSIN AND I WERE DOWN AT THE CREEK AT MY COUSINS GRANDMOTHERS HOUSE AND WE WENT BACK TO SIT ON THE STOOP ON THE FRONT PORCH AND REMENBERED THAT WE FORGOT OUR WATCHES AT THE CREEK SO WE WENT BACK AND GOT THEM AND WE SAW LIKE A JET IN THE SKY WITH THE SUN ON IT AND DIDNT THINK TO MUCH OF IT.

IT WAS GETTING DARK AND RIGHT ACROSS THE ROAD WAS A CORN FIELD. ALL OF A SUDDEN THIS THING WAS OVER THE CORNFIELD. IT MADE NO SOUND AND IT WAS HUGE AND ROUND WITH A ROW OR WINDOWS ON THE TOP AROUND IT. IT HAD ONE BIG LIGHT THE SHONE DOWN ON THE FIELD. THE NEXT THING I KNOW IS I AM IN BED AND THEY CALLED MY MOTHER TO COME AND IT ME, BECAUSE THEY SAID I WAS IN SHOCK AND TO HURRY.

THAT NIGHT I KEPT ON MAKING PICTURES WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE TO SHOW MY FAMILY WAS I SAW, BUT I NEVER DID BELIEVE THAT THEY REALLY BELIEVED WHAT I SAW, BUT YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER THAT WAS WHEN NO ONE TALKED ABOUT SEEING THINGS LIKE THAT.

THE NEXT DAY I WAS STILL NOT FEELING WELL SO MY MOTHER CAME AND GOT ME OUT OF SCHOOL. THE THING THE REALLY BOTHERS ME IS THAT MY COUSIN DIDNT SEEM TO GET UPSET ABOUT WHAT WE SAW, BUT IT SURE AFFECTED ME.

ALL I KNOW IS THAT I SAW SOMETHING I DIDNT KNOW WHAT IT WAS AND I WAS JUST A LITTLE GIRL, SO WHEN PEOPLE ASK ME DO I BELIEVE, I CAN SWEAR TO YOU THAT I DO BELIEVE.

PEOPLE HAVE ASK ME DID I LOSE ANY TIME, AND I JUST DONT KNOW.

AS I GOT OLDER I AM NOW 53 YEARS OLD I AM STILL AFFECTED BY THIS.
