Triangular UFO sighting southbound I-10 (Butler County, AL)

We were driving southbound on I-10 past the Grace/ Garland exits.

I (driver) noticed a faint light about a mile down. We were probably driving about 65mph due to us hailing a pretty heavy trailer. Although faint, it was pretty easy to notice considering the lack of manmade light source around that area.

The object was right, RIGHT above the tree line. As we gained, I saw the ROUNDED triangular shape. 3 lights on each corner also were now in sight. This is when I realized it was something worth pointing out. I pointed at it and said, “Um, what is that?”. My colleague also expressed the same question.

About 100 yards and closing - I realize the initial glow I saw was centralized, white, with a faint hint of blue and I could now see a whispy like fog coming off of it. Of course with the amount of drones flying around these days, it was my second thought, following random-unnecessarily high-interstate-light pole.

50 yds away (slowed down to 50 MPH - I noticed it was slowly hovering about 10MPH, so we didn’t see it was actually moving until we were close. we could now see that it was far too large to be a light pole or drone, yet too small to be a plane or jet, to our knowledge. We continued asking the same question to each other. We agreed about the sizing, glowing, hovering, and movement speed. I proclaimed, “I can’t identify that!”, nervously laughing. I knew that this was important and wanted to pull over, but my passenger urged me to continue driving due to the coned off construction lane we were in. We would have been stopped on the interstate with vehicles a mile behind us inbound.

My background with this is that I’ve heard 2 stories of sightings, which came from pretty truthful sources. It always intrigued me and I was looking forward to it. This excited/ perplexed me. I was disappointed to not stop and take a fixated look at it.

I first looked up military bases around the area and there were some, but not in the immediate vicinity.

I didn’t realize you could sophisticatedly report on a site like this, until I dug a little further. I’ve been thinking about it daily! I have shared with some people. Many were excited to hear about it in the details I could provide, especially with a second witness testimony.

Silent, red lights flying from horizon to horizon one after the other.

While getting my new store ready, we were working late trying to get some shelving installed. My wife took a break because we had a small argument over something silly. She went outside to use her vaporizer. She yelled for me to, "Come quick, run!"

When I got outside, she showed me two red lights in the sky. They were flying by quickly and at low speed. She managed to get a small video of them with her phone. As they passed by and went over the tree line, in the same trajectory, another light would appear on the opposite side of horizon. flying the same path as the previous light.

No sound, looking just like a flare except it just kept flying right over our heads.

I don't know what I saw, it really doesn't make any sense. The video my wife made looks horrible with all the zooming in and out. She was trying to get background in the shot so people could reference altitude. Then they just stopped appearing.

Like I said, just weird.

Large amber lights in upside down triangle formation in Mckenzie Alabama moving due south at unknown speed.

Over our field on my way home I spotted anywhere from 10-12 maybe 15 large amber lights in an upsidedown triangle. They were probably a couple of miles from me at the time. I turned around and drove a 1/4 of a mile back to my brothers house where him and his daughter was in their front yard watching it. I asked him wasn't it moving away from us and he agreed. It was moving due south. I was in my truck most of the time so couldn't hear anything, and when I asked Him he couldn't hear any noise, so we were sure it wasn't airplanes or helicopters. Somewhere around 30-40 minutes after we lost sight of it he called me back and said he and his daughter seen 3 lights appear, in the direction where we lost sight of it, and then go out come back on again and out again for the last time. I would like to know if anyone else seen anything similar around the same time?

I saw a saucer shaped obiect with blue, red, green flashing lights on the way home from college.

The event occurred on a local 2-lane highway that goes from McKenzie to Bruceton. The area is rural but has scattered houses and farms.I was coming home from college. It was about 8:30 or 9:00 and I saw something moving downward at approximately a 45 degree angle at a pretty good speed. It was in the distance in front of me and I thought that it was a plane that was going to crash. As I drove on, it slowed its downward movement and leveled off. I could not figure out what it was. As I kept going I came over a hill and there it was, hovering in the sky off to my right, over a field. It was not very high up, I could see it very well. It was shaped like a saucer, the traditional flying saucer, with blue, red, and green lights that flashed back and forth on the bottom. It made no noise at all. It just hovered there approximately 100' up in the air. It was a warm clear night and I just stopped my car and watched it. It eased across the road and hovered there on the driver side out over another field very close. I rolled down my windows to try to see if it was making any noise and it wasn't. It baffled me. What could it be? I looked from every angle I could think of, watched it and could come up with no answers. It finally began to move and it eased off to the east and went down behind an old barn. I decided I had seen enough and went on home. I am a college graduate, hold a graduate degree, and pastor a church, but I still can't believe what I saw that night. I wish someone could explain it to me. I have told only a few people and my wife and kids always tease me about it, but hey, I still never go by that field today that I don't relive that night. It wasn't scary. It was just a mystery that I guess I will have to wait and let God explain to me. The bible says that " I have sheep in other pastures that you no not of" maybe that scripture applies to this.

Observed two shiny objects which resembled a child's top flying west to east in the twilight.

I was standing on my front porch looking toward the north when I saw two glints moving along about 35 to 40 degrees above the horizon. I immediately ran into the hours and got a pair of 10 x 50 binoculars. Through the binoculars I could see that the objects were very shiny and shaped like a top, with the pointed portion down. They were moving at a steady rate of speed, but not especially fast. There were no signs of any sort of contrail or vapor coming from them. My daughter, who was seven years old at the time, was outside and I hurriedly called her to come. I helped her hold the glasses and moved them around until she located the objects and her immediate comment confirmed my initial observation: "They're tops, dad!" she exlaimed. I watched these objects for three or four minutes until they faded from view. I would also note that shortly after I observed these objects, our pet dog--and every dog within earshot--began to howl and bark. I heard no sound whatsoever associated with the passages of these objects, although they were quite a distance away. I had the impression that they were perhaps two or three miles away at a minimum, which would have made them quite large. I should also note that I am a newspaper reporter and something of a trained observer and trained to give fairly accurate descriptions of events.
