I was sitting in my backyard on my trampoline when I saw a firework looking flare. Which is what I thought it was. Then it did not explode and just disappeared. It was right above the trees so I could see it pretty well.

Heard what sounded similar to a turbo diesel engine but we knew that it wasn't that. We all began to investigate the sound,

My neighbors and their daughter was sitting on our porch talking. Ironically, I always like to ask people if they believe in UFO's which i did and of course that started our neighborly debate. Roughly 1-3 minutes later we heard what was similar to a turbo'ed diesel engine. His wife looked at me and said what is that? Her husband turned and looked up the street waiting for a vehicle to speed down the hill. Their daughter went out on the sidewalk and said, well Bob, it looks like you might be right about UFO's. At that point we all ran down onto the sidewalk and saw a square object fly about 100'-150' over our house.
The square object had lights in each corner of the square, with 3 of the lights being white, one being red. The square object seemed to fly with one of the corners being in the front. It did not fly with the flat side. My wife looked at her airplane app that tells what planes are in the sky and there wasn't any planes showing. The thing that bugs me the most is, four adults saw this, all of which had cell phones in their hand or pocket and we all just frozen and watch this object fly by.

NOTES: As I thought about this all day, the only logical explanation I can think of is that the turbo engine sound we heard was a gas power drone taking off because we heard it and as the object flew over us, it was silent. However, this object was much larger than any civilian drone.

Driving home and it was my dad or boyfriend seen it (it was 2 lights but not sure if it was one object),we try to record in the car but window wouldn’t go down but we try and once home we could still see it and recorded it, seemed like it was staying stationary and at one point my dad went to grab his binoculars and light we could see went out,weird as if it knew he took out binoculars and once he put them back in house we could see the light again,not sure if it’s ufo or not but it seemed weird,also it stayed there for while at least 30 minutes and we just went inside and later on it was gone,also before we went in we could hear some type of helicopter but wasn’t sure which direction exactly I think it was coming from behind from what I can recall,had two more video it wouldn’t upload

Orbital object over N. Alabama that twice came to stop and made sudden course corrections

While star watching and satellite spotting, an orbital object passed over Blount County Alabama, from a heading of 324 degrees NW towards the SE at 144 degrees. The object had a luminosity about half as bright at the ISS and was moving at typical satellite speed. Twice the object came to complete stop in its path, made a large arc course correction, then continued on its SE trajectory until out of view over horizon.

Bright orange ball over Iowa

At approximately 20:57-20:59, there was a bright orange fireball over Iowa. It traveled straight down extremely fast, and appeared as it was almost a large meteorite falling from the sky. Once it got about 100 feet from the ground, The light completely went out and it disappeared into the clear sky. There were never any sounds and I was waiting for the sound of impact but it never came.

Bright orange big light quiet, appeared to the south moved across the sky & got dimmer then dissipated, repeated 5 times over 1/2 hour.

I saw an orange light pretty bright & big sort of just appeared at a point south of my house moved across the sky towards the north, after a couple minutes kept getting less bright then sort of dissipated, no sound at all. At first I thought it was a big plane or a drone, but then another appeared at the same spot and moved across the sky and again after a few minutes it got weaker and dissipated around the same area to the north like the other one had.

I got my wife out of the house and she watched it happen 3 more times with me, we both were confused at what we were seeing. This happened 5 times over about 30 minutes then it stopped.

Star like object solid light travelling NW 2137-2139. It flew over a normal plane travelling at regular altitude speed that was heading SW. The ISS is currently east of Africa over the ocean. I know there are more satellites but this was bright, traveling quickly, and seems to be much higher than a plane travelling @ several thousand feet. Interested in seeing what this was. I've reported a similar sighting to mufon Iowa, but the report system there isn't working. Large circle, bright as a star, slightly larger than the brightest stars you will see in the night sky, and appears to look like it's floating, almost to flying in a perfectly straight path. Never changed direction, probably a satellite, but still very cool.

Three people saw a formation of multi-colored lights travelling in one direction across the sky.

Sometime between the hours of 10:15pm and 10:30pm, myself and two friends of mine witnessed a cluster of multi-colored lights in a formation travelling across the sky in what we think was a northeastern direction.

At first we thought it was fireworks, but the formation of lights which seemed to pulsate between shades of blue, red and green traveled across the sky in the same direction until they moved behind the trees and beyond our point of view.

They seemed to be at the same altitude as aircraft.

Strange Fireball with no Sound and Pausing in the night sky.

My brother and I just step of out of our cars and happen to look up and saw a RED and ORANGE ball of flame passing by from the North side and heading down to South side of Altoona, Pa. Looks like it came traveling by Tyrone ,Pinecroft and end in Altoona, PA and then shooting up to Space.

Strange things is that made it as ufo sighting is: it was moving slowly in straight path then it stop for a 15 seconds then to start to move again in same straight path. then stop again for 5 second before shooting up with no sound or explosion. Never in my seem something like that. I know its not a firework or craft in fire.

Roman candle-like fireball streaking across Altoona sky.

Was on Plank Road by Wal-mart traveling north-west towards Altoona. Suddenly a bright, large blue-white 'fireball' shot across the sky in front of me, appearing to come from a large cloud, shooting down at about a 15 degree slope from the horizon, traveling west. I estimate whatever it was landed near the Logan Township/ Newburg area, or possibly even farther past the mountain. Did not make a sound. It was only visible for around 2-3 seconds before disappearing. Was very disappointed I didn't have time to capture video.

I would describe it as looking like a large bluish Roman candle. It is quite possible that this was some sort of firework, but I've never seen a Roman candle that was large enough to be visible from that distance and also shot down from the sky. Also I didn't see any other lights or fireworks aside from the 'fireball' previously mentioned.

Orange-red fireball streaking across the night sky faster than an airplane.

We just saw a bright orange-red, round, flying object that was moving far faster than any plane. It appeared to be on a level flight so it wasn't descending. It did not fade, like you'd think a meteor would. It streaked across the sky, over the moon, as low as 15-20K feet, but no sound, no trail. Very strange. They're testing drones around here, so we think maybe that's what it was?

We're a college-educated, middle-aged couple from the Midwest.

My husband works in Information Technology and I work in Office Management.

We've never seen anything this bright and colorful in the night sky.

Several orange spheres move horizontally, in perfectly straight line, across SE Kansas sky with absolutely no sound!

At approximately 10:30, on Saturday, March 29th, 2014, a lot of bright, orange, round lights were observed by several people.

They were relatively low flying in a straight line from the south to the north-northwest. They were west of our location. They made absolutely no noise and were evenly spaced in a straight line. To the north they would kind of group up before some would disappear. From the time they came into sight until they grouped it took about 6 seconds.

I saw several of them before I called for my wife to come look. After my wife got there she counted 15 of these lights. My wife was on the phone and had our son and daughter in law go outside and look at the sky. They also saw them.

I used my iPad to film them for a short time. The video does not show their true formation because I was so excited I did not hold it steady and it looks like they are zig-zagging all over the place. This continued for nearly 20 to 30 minutes.

Triangular shaped hovering craft with multi-colored flashing lights - seen for over 12 minutes.

A group of neighbors and myself noticed strange lights in the sky to the West. It was hovering in one place, not moving to indicate being an airplane. The lights on the object seemed to jump and shift. Upon getting binoculars to look more closely it was triangular shaped with multi-colored lights on the bottom of it that shifted and blinked in patterns. It remained in the same spot over 12 minutes with the light patterns changing regularly. It then slowly moved south-west and disappeared on the horizon. The observers ranged in age from 7 years old to 45 years old from varied backgrounds.

Saw red , yellow, & clear lights in the sky. Hoovering way up in the air. It stayed there for proll 30.min. It would move occasionally, but not very far. The lights kept spinning in circles kind of like a helicopter. The whole object would flash/pulsate like it was doing morse code. I could not hear anything, and it was too high for a elicopter, balloon, blimp etc. my wife and I saw it, along with my parents, neighbors, along with my buddy who lives apps. 2 miles away. After 20min. I went inside and watched it fly away going SW, the saw it dive down until it fell below the tree/house line.

Thursday, March 6th 2008, I was sitting on my computer and I kept hearing continuous jet aircrafts flying over my small town of Altoona, Iowa, enough to make my house shake. At first i didn't take to much care into it but, it was happening about every couple minutes another jet or some kind of fighter aircraft that was very loud would fly over. This lasted for about an hour or so. Finally i got up to let my cat out on my back porch & I saw a blood-red object that was very high in the air and was not pulsating this was around 9pm. It was very bright blood red and moving in 90- degree angels very quickly much faster than any aircraft I have ever seen. Two jets were chasing it, well were trying to keep up with it anyways. I was in awe standing on my deck with my cat. I ran inside and called a close friend who was about 5-10 miles away in a town called Pleasant hill. I explained to him what i was seeing and he didn’t really believe me. I stood on my back porch and there were about 20 to 30 different aircrafts spread out every flashing in the night sky. I thought it was very unusual for that many aircrafts to be flying around our small town because were no where near the Airport.

I decided to go grab something to eat down the street & drive around and investigate shortly after, there were more and more aircrafts flying around our town and i lost sight of the red orb like object. Shortly after I came inside i got a call from my friend that i called previously. He said that he was outside with two of our friends getting ready to get in there car in Pleasant hill and saw the same blood red object and there were the same jet aircrafts chasing it. But they heard a very silent hovering sound from the red object. They got in there car and turned on the radio but none of the stations would come in on FM they were all static same with the AM, Making odd fuzzy sounds throughout the car ride to my house. They arrived at my house and we all discussed and went over what we all saw. We all had seen the same object; we concluded that the object was chased by the jet aircrafts from Altoona in the direction of Pleasant hill.

We all were standing on my back porch discussing what happened while Aircrafts were still lingering all over our skies. As we were talking i realized about a month pervious on the night of February 16th i saw a similar blood-red object over Pleasant hill on my way home to Altoona coming home from a friends house. I didn’t think much of it at the time but it was the same solid-color blood red orb like object. I looked around the internet for sightings of UfOs in Altoona Iowa and found an abundance of similar UFO sightings throughout the months of February and January and march. I was positive that the object I saw racing through the sky was not any sort of friendly air craft, seeing how it was a bright red orb of no familiarity.

The jets that were chasing it were pulsating a very very bright white light in some kind of pattern so I’m not exactly sure if they were also ufo's or jets. They kept flying around in a pattern with the Red orb like object all over my town. So it is very possible that the white strobe like lights that were following it a bit slower could have been UFO's as well or some type of military aircrafts. But there were 20-30 aircrafts circling Altoona for about 2 hours after the incident. There was also a very low altitude stealth looking silent aircraft flew over my neighborhood.

Not sure the exact type of stealth aircraft it was but im positive it was a stealth aircraft by the triangular lights on the bottom of the craft and it was also V-shaped. Im positive what we all saw was a ufo on account of military crafts chasing it and military crafts lingering around for two hours in the area My backyard is also a casino resort called prairie meadows which the Red object was hovering over to begin with. I hope to find as many others who have witnessed this encounter this is no joke or hoax.

There was one extremely bright white light that hovered in the sky for about one minute then started to accelerate a high rate of speed and the light looked as if it was spinning around slowly and then disappeared quickly

This is a UFO sighting in Prospect Park in Altoona in PA back in the year 2005.

I was at Prospect Park in Altoona with a friend of mine to hang out. It was early in the evening. We started walking through the park and decided to play around. We got started getting rough and wrestling around. He was holding me down when I happened to look up. He was facing the opposite direction I was, when I saw an object in the air pretty low. It was too low to be a plan or such. I knew it wasn't a satellite either. After a couple seconds of looking and focusing it became clearer. It was a round saucer that looked silver at first until it started giving off a glow of white light. I immediately tried to get my friends attention. I yelled his name, he proceeded in trying to hold me down, I yelled it again and got his attention. I told him to look where I was pointing. He had something in his eye, he took a second to clear it up while I was yelling look! look! He finally looked up. But couldn't see it at first for a moment. I was looking at it the whole time. It was going a little slow at first as it was when I first seen it. It was heading over our direction over us. It kept the same level the whole time in the air. My friend finally caught it and was watching to as it just started to go faster. At that point it was only visible as it was going faster until it took a tremendous increase in speed and just warped into disappearing into the distance. My friend saw it at the last moment, but however he did seen it for the 15 seconds he did. I don't know if we were the only ones to see it in the area. Another one of my friends was walking by the park fence moments after the sighting happened. I had told her what we just seen. She said that she believed me, but I don't know. I have told a very limited number of people about this. I don't care who believes me or who doesn't. The fact is, I know what I seen. I have photographic memory and remember ever detail. It was the most weirdest and incredible experiences in my life so far. ! It sure gave me a new perspective on things. I never doubted o! ther existences, but I wasn't sure either till that day.

There was a unknow never seen befor light in the woods by my house that was to close to be real.

My friends and I were walking throught the woods bye my house. My Cousin told us that he thought he saw some lights comming out of the trees behind us. Me and another kid looked back and there was nothing. A few minutes past and the lights that my cousin clameded to see had rison out of the tree's about 25 feet or more in front of us. after we seen it a wind gust blow through wich was strange cause it was one of those dead hot days and, the lights shout striaght up in the air. The lights seemed to disfigure as it rose makeing different shapes. But the shapes were solid curcle sqare etc. They made no noise other then the wind gust blowing the trees and it was extremely bright. We could see it rise up in to the sky for about 10min or so and it just cept getting smaller and smaller. When it first rose out of the trees it looked to be the size of a small one floor house. After a wile if it getting small and going in the air it took a what seemed to be a turn and vanished.

Lighted chevron shaped object observed.

As I got home from a friends I took the dog out in the yard. Movement in the sky caught my eye.I looked up to see a chevron shaped object heading Northwest at what appeared to be at 3 to 4 times the speed of any aircraft I have observed. The object appeared to be at about 1000 ft. At least thats my best guess. It was silent and had 3 rows of dim orange lights, maybe 30 in all, arranged evenly and symetrically. The weather was crystal clear. I lost sight as my veiw became obstucted be the pine trees in my back yard.

Stange Object over Ice Mountain

I was doing a little pre-season scouting for deer on Ice Mountain, near Tyrone, PA late Sunday afternoon. I had spent more time out in the woods than I had planned on, and the sun had already set as I made my way back to my Jeep, when I noticed a bright light in the sky moving in my direction.

At first I thought it was just an airplane and thought nothing of it. But then it suddenly stopped moving and began to pulsate, getting brighter and then fainter. I noticed at this time that there appeared to be a slight haze surrounding the object. The pulsating increased in tempo until the object was flickering at a very rapid rate, when suddenly, a bright beam of light shot down from the bottom of the object to the ground below. This was no searchlight. Even a well focused searchlight tends to diffuse with distance, but this light was a tight, bright beam from top to bottom.

As suddenly as the pulsating began, it stopped, and the beam also turned off. The object just sat there motionless in the sky. My Jeep was only about 100 yards away when all this happened, so I ran to it to get my camera. I took a picture of the object as it hovered, and as I got ready to take another picture the object it began moving around slowly in a tight circle. I took another picture, but before I could take a third, it suddenly shot straight up in the air at fantastic speed and was gone from sight! I'll attach the two pictures I got to an email message and send them in. I cropped them down a bit to reduce the file size. I don't know what this thing was, but I know I've never seen anything like it before!

triangular,slow,low flying,no sound,dull/hazy red lights at each point and in between each point except for a bright flashing white light on the left mid side between the top and bottom left point,able to maneuver in any direction. Appeared to be made of dark metal.

the craft moved in three different directions. There was only 1 craft. Triangular. Appeared to be dark metallic gray. I was the only observer. My husband came out later, but it was almost out of sight by then and he only seen the flashing white light. We are small business owners.

I was getting out of my car and looked above me and there was an object that was hovering above me in a diagonal direction. It just stayed there and I could not stop staring at it. It had a series of colors that went around the object, red yellow, green, continuous, then it just darted away.

Space ship hovered with colored lights going around not flashing just circling the ship

My sister and I were staying the weekend with our grandmother. It was right before dusk.

I was out on the porch and I looked out over the porch at the Sam Ray train shop. Right above the shops I saw this flyng object it was hovering above the trains. It was flashing colored lightes. It stayed for a few minutes and left.

My sister was upstairs looking out the window at it. after it left my aunt who lived in the duplex came up the basement into our kitchen and wanted to know who screamed. We told her nobody she said she heard a scream.

That was the only time i ever saw it. I asked my sister back in 1997 why she never said anything? Like you, she said I didn't want anyone to think I was crazy.

This a was metalic disk object that wobbled. The reflection the object made is what drew our attention. Jet aircraft appeared and object dissapeard from sight. This was a long time ago, but you do not forget these things. This object was far from being an annomily. This is late in coming, but a true report never the less.
