I saw an orb transverse from the horizon to about 100 ft in the air around 8:00 PM. I thought it might be a drone from a neighbor.

As I mentioned at 8:00 I saw what I thought was a drone from a neighboring house. However, I saw the same orb moving around at 3:30AM. This is when I video taped what I saw.

Long rectangular craft with white uniform lights.

Sitting on front porch with 3 family members, simultaneously we noticed a cigar-box (rectangular) shaped aircraft in the eastern sky. Uniformly lit down the side with white lights and moving slowly north. It maintained a steady course and speed, then seemed to fade away after a couple of minutes. We were not able to capture video or photo, but it was the same craft as reported on 09/05/22 in Foley, AL.

I was sitting on my couch and i looked right out the window and saw this very very bright beaming light in the sky and it was just glowing really bright and then it started to fade, all in the same spot. And then the glowing bright light turned into red, green, and orange/yellow blinking lights and the craft moved toward Chicago. I would have thought it was just a plane if i had not seen it glowing like it was before.

Triangle with 3 lights moved quickly and quietly across the sky.

A friend and I were walking around town because of the nice weather; it was late enough that the stars had come out. We're both college students in our early 20s. I was open to the existence of UFOs, but my friend had been a skeptic until the event.

As we were walking, we reached an area void of streetlights (near E 4th St and Oregon Ave) and my friend was trying to find some constellations. As he was looking, he exclaimed, "Dude! Look." I looked up just in time to see a triangular shaped craft with three lights fly silently and quickly over our heads and across the sky before flying off into the distance, heading South-West.

There were no trees, so we both got a clear view of the craft. Neither of us were certain how large or how high the object was, but it appeared perhaps around 250 feet in the air and around 20 feet long. It flew fast enough that we were only able to watch it for around 5 seconds. We were both confident the object was some sort of UFO.

Clear and very still night. There were lots of stars visible in the sky so a friend and I were watching. Something caught my eye which appeared to be a shooting star. I followed it with my eyes and noticed there were several lights in the shape of a triangle. The body of the craft appeared to be translucent. Was completely soundless and moving much faster than any aircraft I have seen. My friend did finally get a look at it also but only maybe 3-5 seconds.

January 6, 2014. My son called and told me to check out the 3 suns. I threw on a coat and slippers, grabbed my phone and headed out the garage door. I looked out to the southeast to see the sun and its strange phenomenon of light display (I live in a rural area). I started taking pictures, rapidly. I couldn't really see because I was taking pics into the sun, so I just snapped, snapped, snapped. It was like -43 degrees (wind chill) out that day, so I was out there for only a few minutes. Went into the house, my grandson and I checked the pics out, then I went outside to take just a few more. I did not see or hear the object, I just happen to take these photos. If you zoom into the original, I swear there is many of the same object, just not right above my house. The photos I have are incredibly cool. The object is not there, there, not there.

ufos over i80 between morris and bolingbrook illinois.

we were coming back from Chicago, headed west on i80. After we got out of bolingbrook and drove for a bout fifteen minutes a huge triangle of three bright lights appeared in the sky. we had no idea what they were and figured at one point they were silos, but we were being safe. About twelve more minutes went by and we watched the triangle turn to a straight line. As we kept driving about two min more goes by and these crafts are now by us coming from the south side of the interstate over and heading northeast. They were going so very slow and they were extremely low to the ground everyone on the interstate slowed to about 49 mph and some were pulling over. I opened my sunroof as one went right over us and i could not make out a silhouette. It was the scariest thing I have ever seen and I still have no idea what it was. There was a big line of huge bright white lights and orange and red lights around the rest of it. no noise or blinking of the lights.

Red solid lights moving very slowly northbound, ran inside to get wife/kids/camera. as the "formation" passed behind treelines and rooflines, the number of visible lights reduced, from about 12 to 8 to 4 then to 1 then gone...

I saw a reflective object in the sky followed by unmarked black helicopters.

If you have or do recieve any other reports fron the Chicago or south Chicago area on or about the above mentioned date, I would be curious to know. I saw a highly reflective object high in the sky far south of Chicago.

For several minutes I just assumed that it was a plane until I realized that above me was another high flying plane leaving a vapor trail. I would honestly write this off as just a misidentification except for the fact that for several months, my wife and I have been seeing black, dual rotor helicopters flying relatively low to the ground very fast from the south east to the north west, always in pairs and never with any markings.

These helicopters again appeared within 30 mins of seeing this object.

On a side note, I love listening to you on Coast to coast am and do appreciate the work that you do.

There was three lights, two of them were red and one of them were blue. As we got closer you could make out the shape of it. The shape was a triangle and stood still in the sky. It was only 100 feet up in the air so it was pretty clear. The bottom of the craft was gray. It was silent and make no noise. As we pursued it it began to take off. It had to be going atleast 200+ Mph. We eventaually lost it after losing it in some trees. About twenty minutes after posting this event on a social networking site I got a call from one of my other friends that described the craft to me before I even told him what I saw. It was the same exact craft that we saw earlier.

Strange object observed in sky near Dresden Nuclear Station, Illinois

Witnessed on Oct. 18th , 2011 Background: Ex-Navy Aircraft Mechanic, Nuclear Reactor Services and Inspections

I was heading East on Pine Bluff Road (North of Coal City, Illinois) about 8:10 pm. It was raining slightly and I noticed what looked like the moon trying to peer through the clouds. As I drove towards the Dresden Nuclear Station it became apparent that this was not the moon.

It looked to be a blimp traveling west and it was ahead of me and to the left. I noticed the “blimp” had a greenish – blue glow around the bottom, a metallic whitish gray just above that and a white glowing dome.

I turned left on North Dresden Rd. The “blimp” was now on my right and we were on a path to intersect.

The strange lighting had my attention and I began questioning whether it really was a blimp. I drove on, keeping an eye on it out of my passenger window. The closer I got, the surer I was that this was no blimp…it was no helicopter… and it was not an airplane! It was moving slowly across the sky and looked to be within a few hundred feet of the ground.

I kept asking myself- “what the hell is that?” out loud… I could clearly see it now. It was only about 300 yards away, but it was now going to pass behind me. I stopped and rolled the window down to get a good look- I saw a somewhat domed top and a flat bottom. It made no sound as it passed within a hundred yards of my car. I would guess it to have been at least 100 feet across, maybe bigger.

I watched as it floated/glided over the road and across the fields on my left. For over a minute I sat and watched, but I had to get in to work so I drove on.

Still watching this object out the window I pulled up to the Security Checkpoint (it had passed within ½ mile of the plant). I asked the guard if he knew of any blimps that may be flying in the area and he said no…I then pointed out the object to him.

The look on his face was enough for me- but he maintained his professional composure and jokingly said…”huh, may be a weather balloon!” After I parked my car I began walking into the plant, still watching this thing in the distance now. I asked a co-worker if he had seen anything in the sky. He told me he really hadn’t looked up so I pointed to the object and it got his attention too. We watched it until it disappeared behind the steam of the cooling towers.

Over the next day or so I found 2 other co-workers who witnessed this event.

four fireballs moving rapidly south at 9:45pm CST west of Chicago

First, I wish it to be known that Morris Municipal Airport (http://www.airnav.com/airport/C09) is 2.8 miles due north of our location. It is a very small airport that does not handle large aircraft or carrier lines.

At roughly 9:45pm CST my wife and I were in our front yard. We were walking past the front of our house passing south when we saw two odd shapes in the sky, quickly followed by one, then another.

My best description is that all four shapes were identical, and looked like fireballs, each of which cast a tail of radiation in its wake that made each object look vaguely like a glove with the fireball at the palm and the fingers (four or five) trailing in the wake (my wife saw something very similar, but not in as much detail). They were orange-yellow, about the shade of fire you'd see from a campfire.

I have no way of gauging their size nor distance from the earth's surface, except to say that 5 or 6 of them grouped together would have been enough to blot out the moon from our view.

We initially saw one of the shapes moving directly overhead, due south. Then another shape seemed to appear directly overhead (or simply fly into our field of vision), then another. At around the same time we observed the third shape overhead, we realized there was another such shape further off in the southern sky.

All four shapes continued rapidly due south until they disappeared from our sight. They did not disappear over a horizon, nor were they obstructed by trees or buildings, but rather they seemed to fly straight off into the sky until they became too small to see.

We initially thought they may be skydivers, but couldn't explain the intense fire. We also thought they might be hot air balloons, but we both concluded they were moving fast enough that we couldn't hope to catch them in our truck, even if we drove rapidly in a straight line after them. We heard no sound from them whatsoever.

3 metalic spheres connected in a triangle in daytime

During the summer, early August 2010, My daughter and I were in our backyard pool enjoying a hot summer day. We live in Morris, Il, south of the Illinois River in the country. Our backyard faces to the direct north. It was approximately 2pm or so and I heard an airplane motor above and to the east. At about a 45degree angle east, southeast, I saw clearly an object best described as 3 large round spheres. Each appeared very large, about the size or larger that my out building which is 42’ x 36’x18’. The 3 spheres appeared all connected mechanically and hovered in an upright tri-angle position. I pointed this object out to my daughter who is 11 years old. I would of estimated the distance of the object at less that 500 yards horizontally at a height of less that 1000 ft.

We both were observing it and as I stated earlier I heard the sound of an airplane motor in that general direction. Beyond this object a airplane was observed traveling in a west, southwest direction and eventually could no longer be heard. We watched the object for what seemed like minutes and we both noted that no sound could be heard.

Suddenly the object started moving in a direct northerly direction. As it moved north its elevation increased as did the speed. Within seconds the object went from a southeast position from our house to due north and disappearing. It’s acceleration wasn’t instant but the velocity kept increasing to what seemed a unbelievable rate. I have experience with aircraft and high rate acceleration and can say I’ve never seen this kind of acceleration before.

When the object disappeared I instantly told my daughter, "Don’t say anything yet but draw a picture of what you just saw and I will to." We both drew the exact same object on the pool top with our wet fingers. We both then explained to each other what it was we thought we just saw or observed.

Of all the UFO reports we’ve read about and pictures and drawings we’ve seen on the net, this was the first that I’ve seen or heard about that was described as 3 large spheres connected in a tri-angle shape. We both told a couple people what we saw that day but of course the look at us like were goofy.

So I thought I would just pass this along.

Fast moving lights in trees.

On 05/12/2009, at approximately 0330 hours, I was traveling east on Illinois RR. 6, 3 miles west of Morris Illinois. At that time I observed what looked like a large white flood light in a tree line, 1 mile south of RR. 6. The light was moving at too great of speed and changed direction to sharply to be a vehicle or poacher. I stopped on RR.6 and watched the light for approximately 12-14 minutes. The light then stopped and split into 2 different lights, 1 the same bright white, the other a blue green color. The blue green light stayed ststionary while the white light continued traveling east in the tree line. The lights were approximately 1 half mile apart when I heard what sounded like an electrical snap. At that time the blue green light streatched from it's stationary spot to where the white light was. The whith light then stopped and the blue green light re-appeared on top of the white light. The lights then moved slowly to just above the tree line. At that time I heard the electrical sound again, and the lights streatched to the west and dissapeared.

I am not a person who beleives in this kind of stuff. I am a former Police Officer, and currently a armed nuclear officer. I thought I was initially looking at a poacher until I realized how fast the object was moving.

The whole time I was watching it was glowing blueish green to orange to yellow to white. My wife came outside and watched the event also. I contacted the airport and they said no planes were in the app. area at the time.

UFO in morning sky...jets following

I was going to work that morning. I live in the country and I was going to drive into town to get to my work place. I was with a co-worker who lived on the way to town (we were car pooling). The sky was clear and it was just a quiet morning. Then my co-worker pointed into the sky and said, "Look at that! What is that thing?" I am not an aircraft expert, but that thing didn't look like any aircraft I've ever seen. It was in a sort of oval shape, more like an egg. It was a dark gray color. There weren't any lights or anything like that. The object made no noise. It was about 1000 feet in the air and it was moving very fast across the sky. Then there was a jet aircraft chasing after it about three seconds after the craft passed. The jet made jet noises, unlike the craft. The craft didn't have any jet engines, but it was going so fast that it would almost have to. Both me and my co-worker didn't know what the craft was. We still don't to this day and we classify it as a UFO because that's what it is to us. I'm not going to give out my personal information because I don't know what people (people with the jet aircraft) will do to me if they see this story.

There was a roundish object with glowing, shifting lights lining the edges of the craft as it hovered silently above the trees.

I had to guess a bit on the exact date and time of the event, as it was several years ago, and it is something I really don't go around telling alot of people about. I had just left a friend's home, who lived in the small town of Morris. I always enjoyed riding around and listening to music, and after driving a bit, I headed back towards his home, becuase the road he lived on was, at the time, somewhat secluded, and great for star-gazing(since it was away from city lights).

I pulled off the road, rolled down the window, and had the radio softly playing. I was digging around for some cassettes to listen to, and something caught my eye. It was up to the left, just over the treeline. It seemed quite large, and was moving very slowly. The lights on it were glowing softly, and not flashing in quick succession, as aircraft usually have. I am a UFO buff, but didn't think that was what it was at first; my guess was it was a helicopter. It was way too slow for a plane.

I turned down the radio and listened. However, I heard nothing.

Now, at the time, I was unaware that some UFO sightings were marked by the lack of noise accompanying the craft, so it was a shock to see this thing hovering so low above the treeline, and not hearing a sound. I was totally scared. It dawned on me that it was not anything recognizable to ordinary citizens. I tried to convince myself that it was a sort of experimental thing maybe, that the military was working on. If so, they were pretty far from any bases.

Then as I sat and watched, I noticed the colors around it seemed to melt into each other, much the way the Mars looks on a good night-- it went from orange to green to red, softly and slowly changing as it moved slowly above the trees, as if it were looking for something.

I had determined in my mind that if this thing headed my way, I was going to speed up the street to my friends house, who was only about a 1/4 mile away. My heart was pounding. It was hard to really make out the exact shape, but it seemed roundish, with lights all around the base. As I said, time and secrecy has dimmed my memory a bit. Though I know if I saw it again, I would KNOW what it was!(And I have, but that is going ahead of myself.) Then it did what I hoped it wouldn't-- it stopped in mid-air. I froze. My hand was on the key getting ready to crank the car and take off. I watched it as it began slowly rotating in a circle. Then after a few rotations, it began moving off behind the trees, back towards town.

Since it only seemed to be about 2 miles away, I decided to chase it. I was scared, but I hoped to find someone who mihg tbe stopped on the road who also saw it. I sped off in the direction it went, but the whole way back to town, I never passed a single car! Typical.

It was a long time before I told anyone, except my friend, and I swore him to secrecy. He said he believed me because he could tell by the sincerity and seriousness in my voice that I was not playing around.

As a sidenote: a year or two later, NBC ran a UFO special one night, and they showed a re-enactment of some policemen in a small town who had seen three UFOs. They described what they saw, and in the video re-enactment the UFOs looked exactly like what I saw that night! My mouth hit the floor, and my heart raced as I was suddenly taken back to that night. It was a Wednesday night, and my wife wasn't home(she had gone to church). So it was frustrating once again not to have something tangible to show someone that would help validate my experience. I keep hoping to see that special again, or that maybe I will find photos resembling what I saw, but I have yet to come even close.

Got in my car and saw what I thought at first to be a helicopter hovering dangerously low. It was three lights which I figured was one on top and bottom of the passenger area and one on the tail. Didn't see any craft due to the distance in the dark--only the lights were visible. Realized my window was down and there was NO sound from the aircraft. Watched it for atleast five minutes, and it did not sway or rotate. Was interupted by the person's house I was leaving and when I looked back, it had vanished. I had not been drinking or anything else along those lines to impair my perception. I tried for the duration of the sighting to rationalize it out completely, and couldn't.

strange light from sky came down in field then back up again.

my father and i was hunting with his dog in a corn feild on the edge of a timber line. i was watching a light in the sky, it was a different color whit and brighter than the other stars. as we was walking it made a move in a cork screw motion down toward the ground. i thought it was a air plane,then it stoped just of the ground with no noise of any kind. it was the size of a house and about 200 ft. from where we where standing. i still was waiting to hear a engine noise from a helocopter because it just stoped with out touching the ground. it stayed what seemed like 3 or 4 min. then went back up as fast as it came down . with the same cork screw motion and back to the same highth in the sky.it looked like any other star but the light was not the same. the light was so brite that it was brighter than the day lite and you could not make out any shape. till this day i still watch the night ski and can pick it out, it is best in the winter months. i have shown this to other people and they can belive what they see. if you steady your self aganist some thing you can see that it moves around in a small area with a bounce motion and from side to side. it has been a problem i wish i had an answer to, may be i could sleep better.
