My husband and I watched over 100 balls of light flight over our home from the northqest towards the south east for more than 20 minutes they were in perfect alignment making a straight line path until they disappeared one by one unto the same place in the sky. I could still see the stars around where they vanished. They were below the cloud line. It was unnerving to see so many.

Large Bright Light - Alabama

On Thursday January 26, 2017, at approximately 19:10 (+/-5), while looking in the WSW sky (240 degrees) I and two others were looking at Stars, Constellations and Mars/Venus. After showing them Mars/Venus using my Astro-Binoculars, I looked up (naked eye) and we all saw a second bright light (as bright as and appeared as large as the size of Venus (in the night sky) and it covered Mars.

It traveled towards our direction (1 second) and then turned left (3-4 seconds) as the bright light faded away. As Private Pilot, I quickly noticed no navigational lights (Red/Green/or Red/White Flashing light).

I was on my break for work. I noticed that the sky looked like it drop to the earth because the stars were so close. I really looked at the stars and noticed that they were flickering green, red then yellow. I noticed 2 more that shot straight up. I almost had a stroke. I tried to record them however I only got me and my daughter voice it was to dark. I am very confused about this.

I wanted to call the police but scared they would arrest me thinking I was crazy. The three were levitating and moving side to side. While the bigger one was flashing white lights. I was so scared my daughter said, "Momma, I don't think we are supposed to be seeing this."

My bff was on the phone with me I tried to record but if you could hear us you would know it's true.

I put chairs to the doors and stayed up all night. I wanted to knock on my neighbor's door. I know someone else seen this in Phenix City, Al..

V Shaped objects in the shape of a W hovering over wal mart.

I was walking into the Phenix City Wal Mart, around 9:30 EST, and looked up in distance (still very visable) and there were V shaped lights in the shape of a W hovering slowly. There wasnt any noise coming from them, like a chopper or air plane would produce. As I was taking a picture (which I still have), from the far right, I saw 2 jets speeding towards the lights. I ran into Wal Mart after that.

I was heading to work around 05:50, when I spotted a different looking object in the sky. It looked nothing like an aircraft carrier. It had three lights on it. The three lights was bright enough to show the full belly of the object which once round and full underneath. It was gliding lower than aircrafts fly. I turned around in the middle of the road. Went to the store in the hill and it was no where to be spotted. It was gone just like that. So i called the airport which was not open.

Then I called the air-traffic control tower, but not flights was going in or out at that time.

At around 18:00 or 18:30 hours on November 6, 2014, my friend and I witnessed a disc like oval craft traveling southeast over Phenix City, Al, and Columbus, GA. It traveled directly overhead.

Its movement was similar to a hockey puck on an air hockey table. No sound and when it was directly overhead it seemed cloaked to mimic the clouds. Moon light kept its shape visible.

The altitude was similar to plane height at air show planes. Craft was visible for approximately 30 seconds.

Please listen, I see an average of 5 to 20 moving star like objects every night for a year, different types!!

I see slow moving, star like objects every night for over a year now.

Some are slower, higher elevation and seem to zig zag.

Some pulsate on and off completely and fade out after a minute or so.

A few flying a little faster and lower have responded to flashlight by brightening up extremely bright after I've flashed them with light.

They dim back down and continue on path.

One responded 3 times in a row to flashlight.

Last night 10-22-2014, there were three together flying in a Triangle formation, each taking turns getting bright.

Large armada of white lights moving slow and silent across the sky.

Our dogs were very unsettled, so we took them outside at about 8:30 PM EST. I saw a very bright large light coming from the east northeast moving south southwest. I suddenly noticed it was being followed by a multitude of smaller lights. It looked like the stars where moving. we noticed three different columns of lights flying slightly behind and to either side. There were so many we lost count more than forty. There were regular aircraft flying lower they seemed to be commercial aircraft. We felt like it was an invasion. They were just white lights of different sizes flying in formations at a very high altitude. They did not make any sound they were much slower than the commercial aircraft.

Moving lights in the sky form a line, flash brightly, and chase planes.

While night swimming with my wife i was floating on my back looking at the stars when i noticed one of them moving. it began in a straight line but the a plane flew by and the moving light dis a sort of s move and followed the plane for just a few seconds and then stopped moving and changed direction entirely. i pointed it out to my wife who said it had to be a plane. i insisted that it had just done things planes can't do and i saw it follow an actual plane for a moment.

She rolled her eyes and said right, cause you're an expert on planes. i was still watching the light when suddenly i noticed the others beging appearing. the same small star like light. they began moving into a diagonal line formation. when they locked into the formation of a perfect diagonal line,

the lights began to flash very brightly, alternating from one to the other. then one by one the flashes synchronized until they were all flashing together simultaneously. my wife saw all of that happen too. even she admitted that what we were looking at was something unique.

the lights stopped flashing after about 30 seconds of standing still and flashing in place. then they dimmed back down the the original glow and began to move again. another plane flew by and all the lights turned their attention to it. they followed the plane for about 30 or 40 seconds and then disappeared behind the tree line and didn't return.

I was at work and every hour and a half i go out side to go and check on the plant air compresos. As i walk out the door i look to my left i saw three diffrent color lights over the tree tops red,blue and white just motions less with no sound and i kept looking i saw a shape like oval object that the lights was on the lights was not bright and one light appered on side in and on and off it was white I watch it for about ten minutes before vanished.

Rectangle shape one bright light with no sound at all

One night at work a co worker and i was standing out side talking and a large dark object was moving over the trees cross the parking lot very slow. As we look in amazment it had no sound and a bright light came on it was less than fifth feet off the ground. It turn very slowly toward the right like it was about to run into the plant it pause for about ten seconds and than moved on over the plant and it was gone.

My co-worker ask me what was that i told him it was a UFO while my heart was beating 200 mph.

The next day i figuer out why it showed up there and why. We both work in maintenance ad we install some eltronic device on the roof i'm not going to say what but one off the three malfunction and was stuck on sending out a constant pluse and the red light on the device was constantly flashing.

I been looking every nite sence and i have not seen it any more.

Extremely fast light in low sky.

We were driving home when a light shot over us and was gone in a second. It was approximately 50-100 yards above the top of the trees and power lines. The only thing that comes to mind is a jet of some kind, but it was extremely too low to be a jet. It moved as quickly as a shooting star but extremly bright and low.

About 3 minutes before, we saw a jumper plane overhead that was going towards FT Benning.

Would love to know what it was.

bright object hovering in sky during lightning storm Phenix city, Al

We were experiencing a really strong lightening storm. My husband stepped out onto the porch and after a couple of minutes he called me to the porch. The storm was really bad and no light should have been viewable in the sky other than a plane.

He pointed to the eastern sky and ask me if the bright light was moving. I watched for a couple of minutes and we both agreed that what ever was in the sky that night was not moving. It was a large bright light just hovering in the middle of the storm.

I went and got the binoculars and we took turns looking at the object. Through the binoculars you could see that the object had a rectangular shape with orange lights running down both sides. We knew that no helicopter would be just hovering in one spot during such a powerful lightning storm.

As the storm grew worse the object became brighter and still sit hovering. It hovered there for about 56 minutes and suddenly it was just gone.

We have no answers for what we saw Tuesday night. It was a frightening , yet intriguing site. I am afraid of bad storms but even I could not resist watching this object during the storm. I am wondering if anyone else happened to see this spectacular site on 08/11/09 between 10pm and 11 pm.

Many slow moving lights moving in the same direction crossing two cities.

On the night of November 24, 2008, my family and I were traveling into Columbus, GA from Phenix City, AL. While we were traveling East down HWY 80, my husband noticed several orange lights coming from the South heading North. As we stopped at a red light at the intersection of Hwy 80 and Hwy 280, my husband finally asked me if I could see the lights too and if I knew what they were. At first these were seen through the trees and resembled street lights in the distance but as we sat at the red light I noticed these lights were actually moving at a slow pace.

We continued East on Hwy 80 and tried to keep our eye on the lights as they became more in to view. Soon we noticed more and the few lights we were seeing were actually 9 or 10 so we were a little intrigued as to what would be flying over in this number, but then I was able to count about 19 or more. They were appeared large and seemed to be very high in the sky. They changed direction from going North to moving East in front of us. This acutally looked as though they just started moving sideways. We tried to keep up but kept getting stopped by red lights. We then could only watch as they continued to get farther away. At one point it appeared that there were more appearing from the atmosphere and looked to be almost dropping slowly. At this time my children began asking if these were meteors or something else falling from space.

Once they got to the horizon, they seemed to disappear. We tried to catch up a few minutes after they got away from us, but there was nothing at all in the sky. By the time we got to the last place we saw them over the sky was very clear and we could see it very well from this new location. This was on Hwy 85 in Columbus, GA traveling Norteast.

We live near Ft. Benning so we realize this could be explained as something else, but there were just too many and they were maneuvering in ways that I have never seen. We waited so long because we were trying to see if anyone else that night witnessed the same thing. The other people in cars around us did not seem to notice but surely someone else saw. It was very scary and all of us were shaken up for quite awhile that night.

If you can get any other information to explain this phenomenon we would greatly appreciate it.

Summary : CLOSE ENCOUNTER/CAUGHT ON VIDEO on march 29 1997 I lost over 3 hrs.while filming hale bop,(CAPTURED CRAFT,BEINGS ON VIDEO.)I THOUGHT I HAD BEEN GONE APPROX 30 MIN.BUT VIDEO IS OVER 3 HRS.

on the 29th.I went to a fcc tower approx.amile or less from my home to video the hale bop comet,although I didnt see the comet I did see a brilliant light,it was square (IT LOOKED LIKE A GIANT DOOR!)Istarted getting very cold,I remember smelling ether,i filmed a few stars,went home!(or so I thought!)when i arrived home my wife asked me -did you see that thing that flew over the house? I replied that I didnt see anything! Then she asked what took so long? I replied I was only gone 30 or 45 minutes max. then she said -baby youve been gone almost 4 hrs.I thought she was upset about me not seeing this thing that had flown over our home! so I told her that I WAS SORRY!,went to bed ;the next morning Iwent outside and started filming over the tape,filming the squirrels,my wife came out and told me I REALLY WAS GONE ALMOST 4 HRS.TOLD ME TO CHECK THAT TAPE! so we went in to look at the tape,she was right!I CAUGHT IT ON TAPE!THE TAPE BESIDES WHAT I FILMED OVER IS OVER 3 HRS.LONG!

It was not a star.

My cousin an I were playing putt putt golf in the evening. As I was waiting for him to play I was looking at the stars when from my left moving from left to right.a bright light moving across the horizon on a straight line for approximately 5 to 10 seconds at a high velocity and stopped. It remained stopped for about 3 to 5 seconds. At that point it shot straight up and out of sight in just a couple seconds. This was when I was 16 years old in 1962.
