A bright white light surrounded by a bright white haze

Walking with my neighbor and our dogs, west on Beverly Road. We turned left onto Argyle Rd and in the middle of a sentence, I looked up and saw this unidentifiable thing in the air. I literally stopped in my tracks in mid sentence and shouted, " what the bleep is that!!!".

My neighbor got out her phone to take pictures while I continued to walk south on Argyle, keeping the light in my sight. It glided silently from the south south west sky to the south south east sky. It was silent. The center was bright white against a light gray sky. A very bright white, highly illuminated, swirly haze surrounded the object.

We had never seen anything like this, ever. One of our neighbors saw it as well, as I heard her exclaim the same thing that I had. However, she was behind her fence so I was not able to see her. After about 2 minutes the object just faded away into thin air

Five light orbs flying in staggered line formation, then disappearing

Sitting on my front porch, looking ~ 40 deg NE something in the sky catches my eye.

It is a formation of 5 round lights in a staggered line formation heading in a straight line in my direction. The lights are very bright but I can still clearly see their shape delineated against the night sky, similar to light being diffused in paper lamp shades.

Altitude is difficult to judge as the size of the objects is impossible to gauge, but having seen a lot of traffic from LAX and SMO in my location I would guess the altitude to be around 3000ft.

Moving at a very brisk pace, best estimate would several hundred knots. The moment I really started to focus my attention and realize that I was observing something unusual the objects disappeared from one moment to the other. As if the lights had been switched off.

Single 'odder' bright spark overhead remaining static

On the evening on 8-2-23 as I took a typical fresh air break whenever, at approx. 20:20hrs & as I sat on a long bench facing N.E. in direction did the clairvoyant familiar 'ping!' of "hey?" presents itself to me yet again. I whip my head around to the left, which would be looking N.W. and instinctively upwards and there is a single odder than usual glowing spark. Odd why? It was effectively IMO 'zooming' into or 'looming' into view, latitude/longitude at that precise moment of looking up. It had trajectory it clearly was coming in from somewhere to somewhere. And wow! I did just see that, huh? I lingered my gaze upon it as it oh, so, very slooooooowly crept to stand still. Executing incredibly subtle movements and boy howdy. Have they got a speed control device on it or what? Wow...At an altitude, mostly overhead now. Made no sound. Huh... It remained static for the remainder of that fresh air break and I headed back inside the communal living area. Not so much stunned yet, perplexed. As that was an entirely new experience with UAPs for me... whatever it was?, odd best describes it.

*Took a three hour nap and went outside upon waking to look at that point in the sky. Gone. Not a planet. Loomed large in presence that high in the nighttime sky. When it presented itself... Literally felt mass or 'vast oddness' from whatever it was/is/isn't - end

At 7:36 pm I saw a green lighted craft travelling toward glide slope at Venice airport. It moved at high speeds, flashing,brightening.

Single green light moving within landing flight path used minutes earlier. Came from N. Direction and brightened, flashed,moved at sharp angles, appeared to hit ground near county office bldg to my E. Dropping in 5 steps from 1k feet it then reappeared brighter above the scene,then disappeared after putting on an airshow with un natural movements. If it was a drone, which cannot move like this, it was a dangerous place to fly. Official, or police presence noted afterward as well as a helicopter making circles over area half hour later. Not seen since.

Enormous string made of light instantly appeared and vanished

It was a spring night and my father and I were walking around the block before going to bed. We were within sight of home to finish the walk and enjoying a nice chat. We both have an interest in UFOs, space, aliens, and engineering. My dad is a petroleum engineer and I am a mechanical engineer. My grandfather and dad’s father was an electric engineer and did work on the Apollo Project in a contractor capacity.

There was a lull in the conversation about a range of subjects which did sometimes include space and UFO type mutual interests. We were both looking up at the sky approx 70 degrees up walking southward and 20 degrees to the west when we suddenly saw something neither of us have ever seen in the sky before. The craft or object appeared like a very large (bigger than most airplanes visible in the airspace normally by a factor greater than 10) string made out of light. It remained visible for approximately 2 seconds and completely disappeared. We both said, “DID you see THAT!?” because it was such a clear and exciting thing to witness. We spent the remainder of the walk describing to each other the exact same craft/phenomena we both witnessed.

There were no negative effects of the encounter and it was just a cool thing to witness firsthand. I definitely cannot think of any “rational” explanation or mistaken identity for what we witnessed besides a hologram or advanced light craft.

Bright White/Orange teardrop turned starburst light moving slowly before changing directions twice and speeding off.

My husband and I were sitting on our front porch facing North. I noticed this blinding light just hovering in the sky. As I tried to focus my eyes on it, it seemed to change from white to orange and then took on an asterisk/starburst effect as it moved very slowly away from us as if it was using the tree in our yard to hide. When we got up to move down the driveway to see it better, it began moving slowly east. I tried to pull out my phone to get it on camera but you can only see a tiny dot of light. Then it started speeding to the west before we lost sight of it. We are in a small neighborhood with a lot of trees and our house obscured our view at the end.

We were scanning the night sky observing the Easter Moon. The Moonrise was I the East sky. Scanning to the Southwest toward Venus a bright object moving fast toward the Southeast was noticed. Began following just below Ursa Major tracking to the Southeast. The object was moving very quickly across sky with steady white light with the naked eye. 5:54 am venice Florida. Counted 7 aircraft/satellites in succession exact same flight path travelling from southwest to northeast. Solid white lights looked like a Star/planet and every bit as bright as Venus, no noise, no red/white blinking markers.... speed easily triple of a commercial airliner. Maybe more? On fri, 9/27/2019 at 8:20p.m. I witnessed a triangle shaped craft approx. 30’-35’ in length/width fly NW – SE over the Venice Fl. Airport. At first I thought it might be a B2, but the B2 makes noise and has an exhaust trail, the B2 is also kind of bat-shaped. This craft was silent, black, a more equilateral triangle shape, had zero exhaust or visible engines of any kind and was flying very slowly. I watched it for about 10-15 seconds. After doing some research online I found something called the “TR-3B” recently patented by the U.S.Navy that uses something called “rotating electrostatic drive”. They claim it hasn’t actually been built…

I saw a fiery glowing cigar shaped ufo flying over my house going towards the gulf of Mexico.

At the time of the sighting I was 19 years old, I was up late gaming and I went outside to enjoy the morning air and what I saw in the sky blew my mind. Flying over my house was a cigar shaped ufo that was glowing like molten lava, I watched it for at least 5 minutes stunned, it glided silently over my house towards the gulf of Mexico. It was pretty close to the ground, id say around 2500 feet in the air. I felt very strongly I had to share this encounter finally and have it documented. There's something going on in southwest Florida, at least 4 other people I've known have said they have had an experience as well with seeing a ufo. Thank you !

UFO spotting in Venice lights

I observed a light that seemed to move and change color almost ranging from a circle to a triangular shape. I then asked my father to come outside to observe he said it is a planet that is visible recently has been there for at least a week. I was not convinced because I witnessed horizontal and vertical movement of light. Although it seemed to be in the same place for around 30 minutes, I recorded video when it's zoomed you can see the movement. To be sure it was moving I took a photo of light with my phone resting on a wall and marked the wall to be sure each photo was taken at the exact same position. This proved movement. I went in my fathers house for 10 minutes or so and the light was gone. I walked approximately 50 feet to me vehicle and observed the light in a new position over a home. At this point movement and color change from greens,blue,red and yellow were visible with the naked eye. Then it quickly disappeared upward out of sight. In addition! during the whole time 3 airplanes were visibly flying near object, and circled multiple times.

From the horizon then a 90 degree turn directly towards us, turning into a fast light under water. Surfaced like a lightning bug.

It's almost 3 a.m.

Earlier tonight we decided to take the five minute drive to the beach here on gorgeous Venice Island. The vibration around midnight is quiet and calm with the background sound of crickets starting to audibly tune in to the land's energy, or could it be that the sound is tuning the land and the airwaves? The Stars were a million in the sky. The New Moon was yesterday, July 4th, 2016. Tonight's sky was so clear without a moon, that looking at it made us feel as we we were one with all of the vastness. We are. Yes, we all are.

We each had a beach blanket and a chair. Kaitlynn was on her beach blanket, staring up to the sky as I had my focus on my camera, looking away at the perfect time to catch a bright shooting star sailing across the sky. Within a 20 minute time she saw 4 more falling stars, as my eyes were intent on getting the perfect shot. The camera is new to me and it certainly doesn't lie. Ever. Especially when I'm a little shaky with the hand, it always tells the truth, and nothing but. My camera is my boyfriend.

We sat back in the chairs for one last look before we left. Kaitlynn pointed towards the pier, slowly following something with her eyes and her pointer finger, asking if I see "that." I saw a blurry, short white line of faint, slow but steady flashing light, that appeared to be moving south to north amongst the top of the low clouds on the horizon. At first I thought an airplane, but the light was too smooth, too straight, and low, plus we could not hear anything to reference that it was a plane. A plane that close to the water would echo. It was silent. I said "Someone on the pier must have a laser." It did appear that they were shining a little laser light into the clouds, moving it forward. When it was at the point in front of us, it instantly changed course moving west to east under the surface of the water, directly toward us; dim, yet now, solid light. Its size did not change as it moved toward us, coming from the horizon.

As its distance closed in on us, about 20 feet away under the surface of the water, Kaitlynn grasped onto her chair handles like bracing for something, this was real. The moment after she braced, it moved to the north a little and emerged about 10 feet away, 4 feet off of the ground, looking like a firefly, then gently hovering just over the sand. It lingered along the shore momentarily. Us, losing it in the darkness, like it was hiding it's light. It came to check if we had noticed it, and we had. We started to walk towards where it surfaced, but since it was not lighting up, we did not find it and had that certain feeling not to look for it any longer.

I would think that it would appear to grow larger, the closer it came, true? It's mathematical. This did not change its size, although each atmosphere that it entered, it was a different and a constant other size. In the clouds it looked like a small plane but mathematics ruled that down to someone pointing a laser echoing in the humidity of the clouds. In the water it appeared as a quarter-sized white light, over the sand it was the size of a lightning bug and yellowish. Kaitlynn saw a blue color at some point too.

Prior to the sighting, I wanted to hear a song that describes the sky perfectly since it fit the moment. A few lines are simple metaphors that we all can relate to. I love lyrics like that. "...the sky resembles a backlit canopy with holes punched in it." was this starry night. The song is Incubus' "I wish you were here." It goes on to say "I'm counting UFOs, signaling them with my lighter ... and in this moment I am happy. Happy." A few minutes later was the sighting. This is real.

Whatever it is was mind-blowing. I don't know how else to describe it.

I saw a bright red, greenish strobing light, sparkling light in SW sky around 5a moving around, I thought it was a plane but it kept moving forward, back and around then all of a sudden it became a grayish cigar shape which streaked down, across the sky away from it's position, moving SW, rather than the bright colors moving quickly that I initially observed. It was not close to the ground, then it was gone.

Bright orange orbs would arise from horizon, then disappear behind clouds. There was a helicopter flying in sky, could hear that clearly. Heard and saw plane fly in sky also.

Orange lights with deliberate movements spotted several times over the course of 3 hours.

Saw 3 orange lights rise in a triangle formation, move slightly, then disappear at different times.

An hour later, a mile away, saw a single orange light over the gulf of Mexico at Manasota Beach. The light moved up, down, left and right before disappearing. 10 minutes later, a similar light appeared farther out to sea. It made deliberate movements in all directions before once again disappearing.

A bright red round object with an orange light hovered and glided for over twenty minutes

Sighting occurred the night of January 16, 2015, above a housing plan called "Circlewood," off of Englewood Road in Venice, Florida. I had gone to my car to retrieve a book I wanted and as I returned I saw the object hovering and gliding around low in the sky. The sighting occurred from about 8:10 till 8:30 PM.

The object was round and bright red with a bright yellow spot in the lower right section. The object glimmered or pulsed in brightness. Visually in size in appeared to be about one-sixth to one eighth the size of the full moon.

Since the trees and houses blocked my view of it as it went behind them, I estimate that it was at least 1000 feet away, perhaps a quarter mile or even half a mile or more, so it seemed quite large. Its movements were very strange in that it seemed to float, totally silent, in various directions at various speeds, mostly at moderate speeds. It went upward in a straight line, floated both left and right, reversed directions easily, descended below the tree line, then quickly ascended to its previous position and again moved around the sky silently.

After observing it for two minutes or so, I realized I had my cell phone, and began videotaping the object. After videotaping for a minute or two, I ran into the house to get my girlfriend. She came out and together we watched the object for another three or four minutes, videotaping with my cell phone again, until the object descended behind the trees and houses toward the ground away from us at good speed. It descended toward the north.

At that point, it did not return so we went inside. Several times over the next hour I checked the sky and did not see it again. Two videotapes were made of the object. The cell phone video does not do justice to its actual visual size in the sky. However, its gliding, floating movements are well recorded.

2 objects - both 5-7 lighst each in a chevron shape - flying slowly with no noise - three times faster than a DJI drone

Two sets of 5-7 lights flying at 2 heights within 15 minutes of each other.

1st was flying about 5 miles from LAX and above Santa Monica Airport - flying paralelle to beach - flying lower than commercial airlines, but slightly heigher than planes/jets taking off from Santa Monica airport.

2nd set was seen flying perpendicular to the first vessel, but slower and much lower - under 2000 feet and headed directly out over into ocean. Speed was slower than most planes from Santa Monica airport.

Looked like the vehicles were white or metalic/see through reflecting light from city. Very smooth flight. NO noise at all, which would never happen.

I own DJI drones and observes planes all day from LAX and Santa Monica airport, but this was NOT the case. No sound and flight looked Delta formation and could have been changing shapes to thinner as it picked up speed to leave the area into the black over ocean.

This happened between the first 1-2am before daylight savings time.

The sky was clearest in months after a MASSIVE electrical storm the night before.

Went out to say goodbye to a friend for the night. Happened to look up and we both saw three circular, orange glowing lights.

The formation did not change. The shape or color did not change. There was no sound. Moved slowly and all of a sudden gone. It was heading east.

I remember the object was way above the sky. I'm not exact on time. But it was after 9-10pm.

Fiery orange-red orbs traveling at steady pace along a horizonal plane then fading away

I was on my front porch - my house faces north-northwest. I looked into the sky toward the north - this is a habit because I work at an airport that is located in that direction. I witnessed a orange-red orb that appeared to have flames coming from the top and the area nearest me. These flames did not flicker and they were slim pointed conic-shaped.

I expected to see the object falling to earth because these flames appeared to be a something that would trail a burning object. It did not reduce altitude, but continued on a steady plane toward the southwest. I made video of it with my cell phone and followed it by walking on the sidewalk toward the west. I recorded it until my phone battery died (late in the day). I continue to observe it in the SW sky until large trees on the next street obstructed my view. I decided to cross the street to get a better view - a car was coming so I trotted across to the next corner and allow the car to pass. I looked up into the SW sky but could not see it because of a large house on the SW corner of the street. I walked into the roadway to see if I could get a view of it between the house and the large trees. I spotted it in the sky where I had last seen it. It appeared stationary. I looked down the roadway toward the west and saw another object similar to the first. It appear to be hovering over the ocean at about the same altitude as the first. I am about 5 city blocks from the beach. I looked at the second object for about 4-5 seconds and it appeared to dim until I could not see it any longer. I turned my attention to the first object; it was still in the same location. It then dimmed like the second object and disappeared. Neither made any sound, if fact, it was very quiet in the neighborhood except for two cars that drove by--not a soul on the streets, which is unusual due to the mild weather and clear sky on a Friday night.

I work at an airport in the area and I'm very familiar with the type of aircraft in the skies in and around the area. I know the flight paths and can judge the altitude. These objects appeared to be tracking above the ground the same distance as the traffic pattern for the local flight schools - 1400 ft msl.

The color of the objects did not change, nor where there any blinking lights. Strangely, the flames did not illuminate the area around the objects or shine as beams. The bright red-orange color stayed within the shape of the object.

Never have I seen anything like this - highly unlikely that these where planes, helicopters, blimps, UAV's, flares, balloons, or any craft that I have ever seen.

Both occurrences happened while I was sleeping, first I woke up in the middle

I was sleeping. Felt like I was having a dream, I opened my eyes and 4 gray were looking down at me shoving a metal like tube down my throat. I felt I was on a table. Where my head was was not comfortable, felt like the back of my head was pushed against 2 sharp pieces. When I opened my eyes I freaked, one gray looked at another while one pushed my forehead down to hold me still. They started pulling the tube out of my throat and i was gagging and coughing. The part I really recall well is how soft ones hands were, and warm. It was like, dry, soft, chicken skin is how I describe it. ...they continued to yank the tube, I flipped up out of bed coughing and gagging. My wife at the time jumped up, checked on me. I had 2 marks on back of my head that had blood on them.....where my head was laying. This is where I started to believe this was dimensional. I know they were there. Almost like my room was their ship. Hard to explain.

Weeks later had a vivid dream, I was walking up stairs, dark, a gray was subliminally talking to me saying (feminine voice) they wanted to show me. Next to the gray were human-like 'people[' with longish hair. 3 smaller "humanlike grays" walked down the stairs in front of me and stood. Nothing was said. I just knew they were mine. Eyes really dark and a bit bigger. Hair was longer, messy. Its was strange, but it made me feel good. I remember saying thank you. It was peaceful.

You always think your crazy repeating this stuff. This was 2014. I see recent shows of adbuction stories and they are SPOT ON to what I said.

Its one of those things that I know happened. Doesnt matter to me if people dont believe me, I know what happened.

Also, in 2019 had an encounter with my wife. I woke up in the middle of the night. At the end of the bed there was a tall shadow figure. I remember saying leave her alone. Subliminally, it said to me, "Dont worry, we wont hurt her".....I glance and my wife is talking (but sleeping), mumbling. The figure dissipated. This all was about 10 seconds. In the AM I said to my wife, don’t say anything about any dream. I asked if something asked her questions. She freaked out saying it was at the end of the bed and taking her through a hallway showing scenes through windows. We both described the same voice, feminine.

I don’t care if I am contacted or not. More that happy to discuss. More just want to put it out there because I know what the heck happened. Can't tell me differently. It wasn’t a bad experience, even though the first part was kind of violent.

Saw approx. 15 or more ufo,s moving east to west over Venice Florida around 20:00 8pm. Their color was red only, moving against a cold front very slowly and not very high in the sky. No other lights or sounds were noted. Watched the red ufo,s for about 20 or 30 mins moving to the west to the Gulf of Mexico. Three other people watched with me, we all asked, "What is that?". They were moving in the clouds against the wind and we were only able to see the red lights when they were out of the clouds banks. Again there was no sound and no other lights as a plane would have. It was odd that they were moving so slow in rows of two, one higher than the other as the UFOs pasted by heading to the Gulf of Mexico.

Offshore in the gulf of mexico 15 miles off coast of Venice, LA. Looked to the ENE and seen 5 orange/red lights that would appear some would dissapear then reapear and then they would vanish. They would come back after a little while. One would show up disappear then others would instantly show up sometimes 5 at a time, 3 at a time, etc.

They would stay lit up for 3-7 seconds then just dissapear. No trails behind them or nothing. Seen about 5-6 jet head that way over head after about 5 mins after the last sighting. They seemed to start doing search patterns "grids."

Bright red ball of fire moving slowly across the sky, stopped and transformed into a red halo.

My husband and I both watched an object in the sky last night at approximately 8:02 p.m. while out in our backyard with our dog in South Venice, FL. It appeared to be a fireball (I only say a fireball because there was an obvious red ball of fire) slowly moving across the sky. It was visible only at breaks in the clouds (which were many) so it was above the clouds. My husband at first thought it was an airplane on fire and actually called me into the backyard to see. We watched it move slowly for several minutes moving from south to north then it seemed to simply stop.

My husband asked if I thought it had stopped and for about 2 seconds it seemed to be stationery. Then it suddenly developed a large red halo around it. The fireball was no longer visible just the halo. It moved directly back from the way it came (from north to south and back toward us). As it moved at a very fast pace the halo seemed to change in color from the bright red it started as to an orangish tint and then to a cream color. It moved in a matter of less than 10 seconds from the north to our southern horizon with the halo growing large as it moved closer.

At the time it made it to the horizon just above the top of our trees in the south, the halo seemed to blow out and whatever it was simply disappeared.

There was no sound at all during the entire process and there was nothing felt in the air although when the halo blew out it was almost like a visible sound wave that exploded.

It's just so hard to explain having never seen anything even remotely like this.

8 slow moving orange spheres over Gulf of Mexico after orange column of light over Gulf

At approximately 9:30-9:45 on Sept. 15, 2012, eight orange glowing spheres were seen moving south to north at 30 degree angle over the Gulf of Mexico directly out from Venice Inlet (Sarasota County, FL). This was observed in a boat on the intra-coastal waterway. The orange balls of light were moving slowly in formation approximately 100 yards apart. They turned slowly westward in un-uniformed pattern (not in a line). We lost sight (lights were obscured by trees) while docking the boat.

About an hour and a half earlier an orange column of light had been seen shining through storm clouds over the Gulf at the horizon. The entire sky was dark except for this column of light. This light was seen for at least 15 minutes, at which point we lost track as we continued fishing. The column of light was observed by a crowd fishing on the Venice Inlet jetties, who were also pointing and commenting.

Saw a light hovering close to the water, traveled faster than an airplane. Covered a great distance in less than two minutes

I walked out the to beach at approximately 10:45 pm last night and sitting on the beach looking at the blackness. After about 15 minutes, there was a light that came from the south horizon, near South Marina, hovering over the water moving faster than anything I have seen. The light stayed steady, it did not bob up and down like a boat would and it moved as fast an airplane. It covered the distance of the full horizon from the Marina all the way to Malibu in just about two minutes possibly less. It was somewhat close to shore, made no sound at all and moved faster than any boat possible. It was unlike anything I have ever seen.

3 shiney cylindrical objects, 5 secs apart, flying N>S, over the Gulf of Mexico near Venice, Fl.

Facing east look up and towards north, notice something moving.

Watching as object nears to overhead, it is now obvious shape of object is cylindrical and shiney silver. Call to 2nd observer to look up. I begin counting and as I get to "5", first object is past trees (out of my sight) and second object (same as first) comes into my view from same direction (north going south). I begin counting again and when I get to "5" second object is past trees and third object (same as the first two) comes into view. I beging counting again but there were only these three cylinder shaped objects. The third (and final) cylinder had what looked like a red light or something red that appeared very bright on top. All three objects were same shape and size and very shiney silver. There were no wings, no noise, no flashing lights. Holding my arm straight at about 80-degrees, the objects would have been about one inch in length.

Numerous objects with steady white and blinking red lights launched over Gulf with high trajectory path to west over Venice jetty

While facing northwest over Venice jetty observed object with steady white and blinking red light appear to be launched from point north. Object followed altitude-gaining trajectory while moving south, then turned west. Lights disappeared after object reached very high altitude and turned west. At least fifteen other identical objects followed exact same path at 20-60 second intervals, seemingly being launched from shoreline or water. Objects were silent and sometimes three or four were visible at once, all originating from location that could not be identified from our vantage point on Venice Beach. At first we thought them to be small airplanes or helicopters, but trajectory, flight, frequency and location disproved that. Called Venice airport and newsroom, but could not get any information on what these objects were.

On the evening of Nov. 3, 2011, my husband and I were riding our motorcycle north on Casey Key Road, just north of Venice, FL. I kept looking out over the Gulf and noticing an orange-red spherical light in the sky. I told my husband to stop in a spot where we had a clear view out over the Gulf. We both witnessed 3 orange-red lights in a triangular formation. They would appear for several seconds and then fade out. At one point all three lights were showing at the same time; then one would fade out and then another fade out. They appeared stationary while we were watching. Eventually we saw the same type light farther out near the horizon until all the lights faded away. There was no noise, no strobe blinking like an aircraft. We’ve never seen anything like it. On the night of 11/3/2011,my wife came home stated that she had seen a ufo when driving home from her friends house. So I stepped outside to see if I could catch a glimpse of what she might have seen.

My wife told me she saw it to the west so I wasn't out there for a minute and then I saw the following saw one, then two, then three and the fire like lights all blinked out at once.

Then we saw three again much further to the west. They also blinked out at the same time.

Then we saw one light appear, then two, three, four, five, six and seven until there were seven. The lights at first looked like flares but flares don't jump over in a straight line and then jump again. You could see the jump as it left a kind of trail.

Then my wife went in side when we saw no more activity and,I stayed outside for a bit longer and saw white light slowly move across the sky under the moon moving south west direction I ran to get my wife and in 2 sec I ran to get her the object was gone.

Silent Triangle craft sighted Venice, CA May 3rd 2011 21:20

I went out to walk my dog at about 9:20PM on May 3, 2011.

As I walked southwest down the alley behind my house I noticed movement in the sky and I looked up, at first I thought it was a hang glider. Approximately 150 feet up above the rooftops flying southeast I watched it for ten seconds before it flew beyond my field of view.

The craft had no loss of altitude, and made no sound whatsoever. The craft was totally silent, with no lights. Appeared to be a dark blue or black chevron shape, like the top of a triangle with no base, with yellow painted circles under each "wing."

I could not discern any texture to the bottom as it flew by; it was seemingly flat and smooth.

I also did not see anything on top of the craft - there were no ducts that I could see at the back of the craft for propulsion.

Conditions were a cloudless sky and it was a new moon! night. Estimate the size of the craft to be 30 feet across the base of the triangle, fairly equilateral i! n terms of proportions.

Two bright objects suddenly appear in the Pre-dawn sky and then rapidly accelerate out of sight.

My hunting partner and I had just set up in our duck blind and were waiting for sunrise in the marsh in the Venice Louisiana area. It was still dark and you could see the stars real well. As we were standing in the blind looking to the north, two bright objects suddenly appeared just to the left and below the Star Polaris. One object was slightly below the other and both were very bright. This and their sudden appearance out of no where in the dark sky is what caught our attention.

The two objects started moving in a northwest direction slowly at first then suddenly they both accelerated at a very high speed and were gone within seconds. My hunting partner who is pilot could not believe how fast they accelerated and were out of sight. We do not know what they were.

I was on the lawn with my daughter and was lying down and looking up. I saw a very small dot that flashed. It was so high it could not be a plane. Venice Beach 2 Long Jetstreams..

I went to see the sunset/full moonrise last night, 8/23/10, and right after the sun set, I saw what looked to be a rocket launching vertically through the sky with 2 long jetstreams following behind it. It was difficult to zoom into the craft itself with my camera, but the jetstreams are very apparent. The craft was launching into the sky north of where I was seated on the beach, perhaps near the canyons. I also filmed a video to show how quickly it was rising. I contacted Vandenberg AFB and they said they did not launch anything that day and will not until September.

On Nov.26th 2009 at or about 15:00hrs 8 of use saw an object that changed shape every few seconds and was moving from South East to South West, the object was higher than any plane would be. It stayed in view for about 5 to 8 minutes then it could not be seen anymore. It faded out of view. The space shuttle was flying this day so most of us think we were watching it orbit. What do you think? Also, the moon was reflecting the sun almost ½ of the moon in plain site.

It was like a star was bouncing around inside our world.

Much smaller than a real star of course., But amazing!

My wife and I where in bed watching television, and then suddenly we both saw what seemed to be a bright shooting star outside of our window. We both thought that it was a little to bright to be a meteorite and "zip" that fast through the sky like that, so we both said at the same time; Did you see that!?? We both got up out of bed and looked out the window and saw this perfectly round bright dot in the sky that seemed pretty far away.

It looked just like a star, but was not flickering like a star usually does.

We just focused on the what we though was to be a star for a short while before it suddenly started bouncing around in the sky at a speed that I have never seen before. I am 100% positive and sure that it was something that was from out of this world! At first my heart was racing and we were both startled trying to figure out what we both just saw. Then later we picked each others JAWS up from the ground, shook our heads in disbelief and calmed down. We both talked about it for a whie and still can't get it off of our minds.

Large bright circular object hovered for 20 minutes then moved off North Northwest at a very slow speed.

While taking out the garbage for next day curbside pickup at 22:00 hour (10:00 PM) on 07/11/2007, I spotted a very bright light in the sky in the direction of the Venice Municipal Airport in Venice, Florida.. It first appeared to be a planet like object similar to Venus in the night sky; however, much larger and brighter. I stood starring for about 5 minutes until I realized it was moving away from me as it began to drop below the tree top level.

I ran inside to get my binoculars and returned. It had moved only slightly. Viewing it through 6 X 30 binoculars proved it was not an aircraft (I see small aircraft with their red and green running lights every day & night since the Venice Airport is home to many private craft including jet aircraft).

Although in the direction of the airport I could easily determine that it was well beyond since I could see small craft landing during the event. I then decided to take a picture and ran back in the house a second time for the digital camera. By this time the object had moved some distance from the original sighting position so the pictures were barely discernible. I ran the pictured through my graphics software enhancing the object. It was circular in shape and emitted a bright glowing light as if it were a glowing white ball and appeared to be much larger than the small craft flying in the area. The event lasted approximately 15 minutes.

Over the years I have seen many of these kinds of object including bright orange circular craft as well as black triangular craft beginning in 1955 to present. I have many UFO stories much stranger than this sighting.

This was one half of a V formation (like migrating ducks and geese) --- the 5 lights or reflectors were seen flying at an angle going from West to East. They seemed to be on a dimmer as they were hard to see -yet they had an essence of being reflectors instead of bulbs emitting light --- no engine sound but a very slight whishing. Each light seemed to be about the size of a dime at arms length. Altitude was around 3500 ft. The entire sighting could have been no more than 6 seconds to cross the sky as much as I could see from my yard.

I live in Venice 5 blocks from the beach --- as there are lots of city lights about my viewing is somewhat limited.

In November around the same time of evening I saw the same formation only a full V --- 11 lights total ---- as they crossed the sky and before losing sight of them the light at the apex seemed to move to the right leg of the V --- I thought it was a flock of geese and dismissed it as "wishful UFO sighting" --- however, each light was about the size of a dime at arms length. I would estimate the altitude to be around 3500 ft.

The most curious thing was that I knew earlier today that I should go out tonight and that I would see the lights again.

Around 6:15pm I bundled up and joined the cats on the trampoline for observation. Seeing only 1/2 of what I had seen before was a little disappointing but it flew in the exact same spot and at the same speed with the same silent whishing - like a big bird passing overhead.

I have spent many evenings in my yard looking at the sky and lots of air traffic.

My father was a pilot and I have extensive knowledge of military, commercial, and private aircraft --- and many years of attending air shows in the LA area.

The doors were not open yet and people where starting to arrive.

It was a very clear day so I noticed the moon in full view,then I noticed a ball of light on the right side of the moon.I pointed it out to everyone and then we noticed it moving very slow and very very high.

We did not think much about it untill I looked up again before we started in the office and wow! there were two now but directly over us moving up very high then down low.I filmed this because I just happened to have my camera to bring to take pics of my friends new store in the area.

This was Lincoln blvd and Rose Ave. in Venice,CA.

I downloaded the footage on my computer and blew them up.

They looked like balls of light with a force from underneath.

I had to stop and go in for my apt.

When I came out they were gone.

Around 8:30pm on May 27th, 2004, I got in my car with my dog planning to go to the supermarket. I got halfway down the street, approaching the intersection of Rose and 3rd Avenues, when I noticed what appeared to be a very large swarm of agitated black balloons.

At first I thought someone must have released the balloons for a festival, or perhaps the balloons were released by some cruise ship out at sea.

I struggled to make sense of what I was looking at. The entire cluster seemed to be visibly composed of 8-12 large individual black spheres, all rapidly moving around each other. They were swirling and leapfrogging as though an animated cartoon. The words "nightmarish" and "cartoon-like" come to mind.

Each sphere seemed blacker than black - mere silhouettes.

When I realized I was observing something incredibly out of the ordinary, I hit the brakes, shifted into reverse, and back tracked into my driveway. I then went into my apartment to grab my camcorder, stepped outside, and started taping. This entire process took about 4 minutes.

In 4 minutes, this cluster, size difficult to determine - appeared to be as large as a car or perhaps house, managed to travel from above the intersection to the clouds you see in the clips.

Two separate flashes across the sky on 11-08 lunar eclipse seen from our driveway around 8pm-8:30pm

My husband and I were sitting in our driveway, looking at the eclipse...my husband saw what he thought was a shooting star go across the sky from west to east..my view was obstructed by a tree in our yard. Shortly after that, he saw a second flash across the sky...he again said he saw a shooting star. I didn't think anything of it, until I heard tell on the radio show, and then going on your site and seeing all the folks telling of their different sightings that night. What he saw was just a flash of light, and not a string of lights or flock of birds with lights... in his sighting. He may have just seen a shooting star as thought at the time.

Triangular craft spotted over Venice, FL

While stopped at a traffic light at the intersection of Jacaranda Blvd. and Rt. 776, I noticed a triangular shaped craft heading due west. It was flying quite low at about 5,000-7,000 feet. It was a cool night and I had the window open and there was no noticeable sound. Although the sky had darkened, there was still enough light left to see that there was no vapor trail behind it. It was definitely a triangle with 2 blinking slivery-blue lights on 2 of the apices and one white light on the front apex. The 2 other lights blinked in synch with each other. I am familiar with the usual flight patterns around here. I also know that the airport in Venice, FL is only for small private plane. This craft was not coming in for a landing as there is no airport in the direction in which is was heading. Also there was no airport it could have taken off from that could explain its really low altitude. I could tell it was black in color from what little light was left in the sky. This thing must've been seen by many others in that area because the intersection was really busy with traffic. The fact that there was no sound and no vapor trail, its low altitude and relatively slow speed moving from east to west toward the Gulf tells me that this was no ordinary craft.

While camping at Two Rivers state rec area, my stepmom, neighbor & myself saw what appeared to be a flying capital "T". The "T" was in all red lights and flew upright, so that the crossing of the "T" was at the top. It flew in past the campsite from the west, headed a mostly eastward direction. It was quite large, possibly as large as a commercial jet, standing on it's tail. It flew silently.

I have come to speculate that what I witnessed the night of my report of a flash, is none other than what is considered to be a Cosmic Burst as defined by Astrophysasist (please correct my spelling). I saw a special on Iowa public television and this fits the perfect explanation of what I witnessed. Supposidly these are very rare to be witnessed by the human eye. Thank you

A BRIGHT YELLOW BURST of light 3" in diameter - then a small white light

NOT A FLASH...BUT A BURST of light. Ever since my report June 21st of this year I find myself watching the sky almost nightly. Me and my girlfriend were staying at a small lake cabin that a co-worker is letting us use while he is out of town. This is about 15 miles west of Omaha. We had taken an air mattress to the dock and laid back so I could watch a star filled sky like no other as you can imagine)(12am). Not alot except for meteors, satallites and the I think I saw somethings that you aren't sure if you did or didn't see it. By 3:30am she was asleep and I was just staring into the East Northeast direction approximately 30 dgrees down from the straight above position. In a split second I witnessed a large busrt of yellow light in a perfect circular shape looking to be 3" diameter from my point of view. This was definately out in space outer earth atmosphere or further. 1 Second later immediately below & to the right of where this occurred I saw a white flash of light about the size of what the International Space Station looks like going overhead. I sat up saying "what the **** was that?!" I startled her out of her sleep and she asked "what?" I told her to turn and look - I had seen the small white flash again only this time it was 45 dgrees to the right of its original postion. Both times it had flashed on for approximately 1 sec. As she became more awake I pointed to the area that the light would hopefully show again. Of course it didn't. This was the most spectacular thing I have ever witnessed - better than my June 21st sighting. I would love to be hypnotized and taken back to the 24th burst of light and have the description of what I see recorded. If it was a star exploding which I doubt is there any place I can inquire that would know. I truely beleave that what I witnessed was the burst of an alien craft coming out of light speed or thru a worm hole or teleportation burst of some sort. I am not nuts and could not beleave what I saw. I know others had to see this... p! lease help explain what I saw and are there any other reports -EVER - that report the same burst - size - perfect circular shape - no after effect illumination or glow - I have not reported this to anyone...after all I wouldnt blame you if even you didnt beleave me...It does sound far fetched but it is the truth & like I said before - hynotized me.

Observed 3 or 4 fast-moving, silver-copper-colored oblong objects for up to ten seconds as they whizzed by my house.

I am a married man with one eleven-year-old child. I have a M.A. degree in history. I am currently employed as a manager of a hedge fund. I am also a writer of short stories and novels. My wife is a former filmmaker and an animal rights advocate. It was a clear evening at approximately 7:00. I was sitting on my back porch with my wife. We were talking, and I looked to the west. I noticed what appeared to be three or four seagulls flying in close formation towards us. The ocean is very close, and it is not unusual to observe sesagulls flying in the area. I have seen them many times in the past. However, this time I instinctively stood up to see better because they were flying at a very rapid speed. I remember remarking to my wife that they were flying much faster than seagulls were capable of flying. The objects flew within approximately a fifty feet of my house. I remember thinking that there must have been a very powerful sea breeze above us because the objects were so fast. I noticed that the objects were oblong with short wings (I am not sure about the wings) that did not move. As the objects whizzed past me, I was amazed by how rigid and metallic they looked. My wife still believes the objects were seagulls. She, however, did not notice them as soon as I did, and she did not stand up to really look until they had almost passed by. The entire time frame of the sighting from first seeing what I thought were birds to their flight past our house was maybe five-to-ten seconds. That's what I found so amazing because I first saw them a couple of blocks away coming from the direction of the ocean. Birds just do not move that fast, and they were so low in the sky, i.e., maybe fifty-to-hundred feet over roof tops, that I could clearly see them. The three or four objects, which were flying in a perfect, tight formation, were small but bigger than seagulls. I will never forget thinking how unusual it was for those birds to be moving so rapidly in such a tight formation without flapping their wings, and how awe! struck I was when they passed in front of me. They were metallic and looked like some kind of gliders that were on a mission. I remember thinking (my first thought when I noticed their metallic nature) that they were probably extraterrestrial reconnaissance flights surveying the city. I have always been a believer in the existence of alien life, and I have always wanted to see some evidence of it. Since it happened, I have had second thoughts about what it really was. However, it is something that I cannot dismiss because the experience stays with me, and the objects were metallic. I did run to the front of the house to see more after they passed by, but they had disappeared. I thought this unusual too because of the speed by which they disappeared. My eleven-year-old son, who was inside the house, heard me remark about them, and he ran to the front of the house before I did. He saw them for an instant, and he agrees that the objects were not birds, but rather some kind of solid objects that disappeared in a flash. Also, they made absolutely no noise, and I found that to be unusual considering the rate of speed at which the objects traveled. They passed within several feet of the front of my house. I certainly would have heard a noise if they made one. I must say that UFO experiences are very mystifying simply because they catch one offguard and happen so quickly. You do not have time to collect your thoughts. Then, you experience self-doubt because what you've seen violates the known laws of physics, traveling a distance of a half mile to one mile in seconds without any noise or observable means of propulsion. They looked to be gliding in a smooth pattern but at a very rapid speed. I cannot imagine how the objects I saw were man-made. They moved too fast, without any noise, without any engine glow, and without any exhaust. The three or four objects looked like highly polished silver/copper-colored oblong objects. They flew in perfect unison and moved very rapidly. I will never forget how amazed I was with the ! rich-loo king metallic appearance of the objects. It was a beautiful metallic color that I had not seen before. The objects looked very well-designed with an appearance of substance and strength. I am just now reporting this incident because it is something that I cannot forget. I often times think about how strange the metallic objects were, and I believe it is worthwhile reporting something that I consider to be other-worldly, especially after thinking about it for so long. A single, silent, white, cigar-shaped craft was sighted in a clear sky, one hour before sunset.

A single, silent, cigar-shaped craft; white in color; was sighted in a clear sky, about an hour before sunset, by myself and 3 additional pedestrians (2 adults and 1 child). We were all walking near my apartment building which is located close to the intersection of Lincoln Boulevard and Venice Boulevard. I had been reaching up at near arm's length to pet the neighbor's usually docile cat, which was astride the top of the brick wall surrounding their property; and so, I had been looking up when I first noticed the object in the SW sky. (About a minute into the sighting, the cat 'spooked" and abandoned both his bowl of food and his place on top of the wall.) The UFO continued to travel at a steady rate of speed, from the SW to the NE corners of the sky, until it was finally too far away to be visible to the naked eye. The total observation time was approx. 3 & 1/2 minutes. When the object reached what appeared to be the closest point overhead, it looked like it was about two inches in length, as judged by comparing it to my outstretched hand. Clearly, the object was reflecting the sunlight, as if from a white painted surface. It did not appear to emit any additional light of its own, however; what looked like a very thin, spherically shaped and almost completely transparent cloud, halo or mist, seemed to cling to the object. This "mist" seemed to be fanned by the atmosphere as the object passed overhead. The object was low enough in altitude, (perhaps 3000 to 5000 feet) so that it DEFINITELY was not a likely to have been any type of conventional aircraft. It looked like a missle, but it's speed was far too slow for that, and the object made no sound whatsoever. A missle in flight, or a helicopter or fixed-wing aircraft this low would have made noise! The object was close enough and the sky was clear enough to recognize it for exactly what it was - unidentified. - I clearly observed the wings of a similar sized fixed-wing aircraft (commercial jet airliner) which flew overhead about two minutes after the sighting of the UFO began. It was plainly evident that the UFO, by comparison, HAD NO WINGS, ROTORS, MISSLE EXHAUST, ETC., of any kind. There was no aerodynamic tapering of the front of the object, such as would be expected to be found on a missle. Both the bow and stern of the object were flat, like a cigar that is cut straight on both ends. A man and his little boy approached, about a minute into the sighting. I pointed the object out to them, and the man immediately exclaimed, "Hey, that's a UFO!" A man walking across the street overheard our conversation and looked up also, saying, "Wow! - what the hell is THAT thing?" The four of us stopped and watched the object for about 2 & 1/2 more minutes, when it seemed to noticeably speed up during the last 30 seconds or so of its remaining, observable flight path, until it had traveled too far into the NE horizon to remain visible to the unaided eye. Up until that point, the object traveled at a slow, steady speed, in a perfectly straight line. Afterwards, I called KNXT news radio to inquire if anyone else had reported a sighting of the object. The reporter told me no, but that earlier in the day (at 13:09 HRS, PDT), there had been a missle test launched from Vanderberg AFB. Obviously, this missle test is NOT what WE saw - we observed the UFO around 1900 HRS, PTD; about 6 hours AFTER the Vandenberg launch!

The witness was traveling on I075 north from Venice when he saw a fireball that was 1/2 the size of an aspirin at arms length and it was 45 degrees above the horizon. It was traveling south to north and was visible for approx. 3-4 seconds when it finally disappeared over the horizon. He did not experience any electrical problems and his car continued to operate at all time. His parents were in the car and witnessed the event also.

At the witness was driving he noticed this orange fireball passing and thought he also saw a small trail, which at arm's length, was approx. two inches long. The object continued across the sky at an extremely rapid speed, but he had enough time to call to his parents to look at it. They both saw the fireball and described it in the same manner. It did not change its path. They were traveling north on I-75 past Venice, going towards Sarasota County from Charlotte County when they saw it traveling from the south to the north, disappearing over the horizon. They were not affected physically from the experience nor did they notice any electro-magnetic disturbances.

I am just finding out about this place and I wish I would have known years ago I would have called but back then I didn’t have a smart phone to look up stuff. Anyway, I was pregnant with my son he is now 13 years old so the sighting had to be in 1999.

My son’s father, his uncle and I were all out at the jetties “a place in Venice” fishing. It was very late and I was tired and wanted to go home. My son’s father wanted to stay so I walked up onto the bench they had by the snack shop to lie down.

I was looking out towards my son’s father and uncle as they were fishing and out of nowhere I saw this HUGE and I mean HUGE saucer it had if I remember correctly red and white lights going around the bottom of it. It made no sound at all. It was very close to the top of the trees. I got up and walked down onto the dock where my son’s father and Uncle were and we all 3 stood there staring at this thing and then it disappeared.

My son’s father said the light were red and like fireballs. I remember red and white. It was strange and honestly I don’t remember too much after that. I did call my mom right away she said I called around 2am from a payphone and she said I told her all about it. I know that was a UFO. I have NEVER seen anything like that before. I was not scared when I saw it, none of us were, and we just stared at it until it vanished. After I called my mom and told her about it, I’m not sure how to explain it but I don’t really remember much after that. I do know I saw a huge space ship with red and white lights and it was amazing to me that it made no sound what so ever.

Orange fireball seen falling in L.A. 03-99 with sparkler like streamers behind, streaking quickly for three seconds.

On this calm, clear evening, it was dark, but there were (yellow - sodium) streetlights present. I happend to look up into the sky as my eye caught some motion. I saw, looking northwest (more North than West), about 45-50 degrees up into the horizon, a moving object going from North to West in a steep, downward, diagonal trajectory. It was an ORANGE fireball, which went by very quickly. After but three seconds or so of viewing, it then disappeared (and not behind any object, nor did it appear to even come close to the ground. The size was about a dime at arms length, maybe slightly smaller. The object appeared sperical at it's head, with "sparkler" like, multiple tails streaming behind.I tell people it reminded me of the Los Angeles Laker's jersey logo (an earlier version - last few years), which featured a basketball whizzing (at a different angle) with streamer lines following it much like a cartoon would depict motion with speed. The orange ball that I saw was very pure in color, and I did not notice any hot (white spots), or any other colors, nor did it seem to have any gaseous or particulate streams associated with it. I didn't call anyone, or any organization as I thought in my mind I had seen a meteor, and, it's no big deal.... but what got me - thinking about it afterwards - was that it's spakler tails appeared to be even in shape, and intensity. There was no sound.No aircraft apparent, to recollection. It wasn't fireworks, I am sure, nor was it a plane. Could it have been the reentry of a space object (junk) into the atmosphere? I don't know. I tell you this in full confidence and honesty, with the exception of the date (it could be a range of a week or so). I am a writer, and film editor. I was 45 years years old at the time. I am a college grad, and I also have an avid interest in the UFO phenomena, however, I would be loathe to fabricate anything for the sake of attention or novelty. Above all, I am beholden to facts, to reality. That is my report, as I am the sole viewer (to my knowledge) of this event.

"Bouncing Ball" follows car in Venice Florida

I am a registered nurse with a masters degree and never really thought about UFO’s nor had I ever read anything about them.

In 1997 while driving to work from Venice, FL, to North Port, FL, via Rt. 41 around 5:45 a.m., I saw in my rear view mirror a light that had just entered the road behind me. I remember thinking that it was funny that a car would pull out from this wooded area since there is no road or driveway. It was very dark out but from driving this road every day. I was aware that there were no roads on that side of the road.

Suddenly, the orb which I had assumed was a vehicle light disappeared from behind me, but then noted in my passenger side mirror that this "orb" ( the color was slightly more yellowish than a clear headlight) was following directly to the right of my vehicle. This "orb" followed me along the road for approximately 5 miles "bouncing" along the right side of my car. I also remember thinking that it looked like the "bouncing ball" on the old Mitch Miller show. I then remember thinking maybe this was a UFO, but from anything I had ever seen on TV, this was not a UFO vehicle, and my radio was playing and the car was running so I just couldn’t figure out what this was.

Then in the fall of 2004 ( October or November), I was again driving in the early morning, around 5: 15 a.m., I was driving south on Interstate 75 and was near the "Kings Highway" exit on the interstate, when suddenly to my left and up approximately 300 feet (estimate), I saw this very large plane like object. It flew directly to the left of me and it looked like a large jumbo jet but without wings. It was silent, and I saw no lights on this object. I felt it was a plane that was about to crash because it was so low to the ground and now just 50-100 feet above the road and to my left.

It passed me and I looked in the mirror expecting to see a large explosion/smoke or some evidence of a crash but there was nothing. I could no longer see anything as the sky was dark. Again I did not lose any power to my car or radio.

I picked up a co-worker in Punta Gorda and continued to travel south to Estero, Fl., that morning, and saw nothing more but did mention my sighting to my co worker, and she just laughed.

We returned home the following night (Sunday) around midnight, and about 10 miles south of Punta Gorda, we both witnessed another bright "orb" like object high in the sky. We watched this for about a minute and it didn’t seem to move, then suddenly it was gone. We did not see it move, it was just there one moment and gone the next. Shortly afterwards as we were exiting the highway to return to her house, she looked at her watch and commented that it was much later than it should be when we arrived back. It seemed to take us approx 45 minutes longer to make the trip from Estero to Punta Gorda that night.

I had kept these 2 "sightings" to myself all this time until I mentioned something to my sister in law recently, and it was she who said that round "orbs" have been reported in the past as UFO’s.

I then found your web sight for reporting any sightings, and felt that perhaps this may be significant, even though it has been quite sometime ago.
