Bright ball of light appeared twice. First time was under a minute. Second time for about 10 seconds.

I brought my dog outside for a potty break like I do every night before he is kenneled. At first I thought I was seeing a shooting star because of how high it was and its speed. Then this object that looked like a very bright white star, changed directions several times before coming to a stop. It stayed still for about 4 seconds and then shot up and off. Gone in an instant. I stayed outside looking at the sky questioning if I really saw it. Then within a few minutes the "star" reappeared in the sky, close to where it disappeared. It shot back across the sky this time from left to right, changing directions and then abruptly stopped and just sat there again. I grabbed my phone to video it but when I looked back up it was gone. I waited outside looking at the sky for at least another hour, but nothing else happened.

I am outside every night and I know the plane traffic in the area. I live a few cities away from an airport so I am very familiar with the plane routes, how they look, the blinking lights and the sounds. This was not a plane. It was way too high in the sky. I have never seen something move this fast. It was incredible to see. I'm not sure what it was.

A white light similar in brightness to a planet or large star began slowly descending eventually turning red, orange, then dark

The light remained the same size and brightness as it slowly fell from very high in the sky, over a 30 second period. When it appeared to be a couple thousand feet above ground, it faded to a red light for a couple seconds, then faded to a yellow glow, then faded out. It fell much slower than a shooting star or meteor. It had no tail. It had no flashing or variations in brightness until it turned red then orange. It fell at a speed that looked similar to a parachute. It must have been traveling fast, given the distance it went, but appeared to move slow, which made it very confusing to witness. I’ve seen many anomalies in the night sky, but nothing remotely similar to this.

Large oval shaped UFO West of Gretna, NE

It was off in the distance, West of Gretna, NE, by at least 20 miles, but it was still huge in the sky . It was oval as an outline but the center seemed to be open. It was not smoke or clouds because it remained stationary for at least 10-15 minutes. I tried taking a picture of it, but the pictures didn't turn out very clear because it was so far away.

Three red dots in a triangular pattern appeared in the sky and disappeared shortly after.

I was driving home and felt a strange presence (scarier this time). I looked up into the sky as if expecting it and moments later the "craft" appeared ahead of me in the sky. Three red dots. Really far away this time but definitely not stars. It stayed for a moment and then when I reached a certain point in the road (this always happens) it disappeared. It seems harmless and there was only one this time. I don't know why they are watching or following me. I am not always afraid by them - one time I saw four of them- they follow me down Lincoln Road.

At approximataly 1:18 pm, I was taking a short break from work. I lay next to a corn field for shade.

Looking up at the clouds, I noticed a ball of light traveling straight across the sky. It came to a full stop, and made a strange maneuver.

I looked away for a brief second, and when I looked for it again, the UFO was gone.

We spoke via telephone with the witness, who telephoned our Hotline, and we found him to be seemingly sober-minded, and apparently sincere about his sighting. Some of his co-workers saw the same object, although we have not received report from them. Source of this report forwards photos of discoloration on his hands. We cannot imagine how the sighting of an object in the sky could cause the discolorations. PD

4 lights over Gretna NE

As 2 of my neighbors and myself were out with our children trick-or-treating at about 7:30p.m., I happened to glance up at the sky and notice a light flying towards us. At first I didn’t think much about it, but as it drew closer I became more interested.

It appeared to be at an elevation of about 1,000 ft, a constant blue light and made no sound. It traveled from the Southwest to the Northeast in a straight line at what I estimate at about 150mph until it disappeared from sight.

As we were waiting for our kids to go to the next house, we were talking and wondering if it was or was not a drone discussing elevation, size, speed, and color when we all saw a second object appear, this time green in color. It followed the exact same flight path and seemed to be at the same elevation and be of the same size of the previous object.

Just as the second object disappeared from sight we all turned to see a third blue object appear just where the first 2 had appeared. It also followed the same flight path as the previous 2 objects. Again as we lost sight of the third object, a fourth one appeared.

This fourth object was also blue and traveled the same flight path at the same speed as the previous 3 but was flying at a higher elevation.

After the fourth object left the area and we were teasing each other about getting our tin foil hats out, we watched a large airplane flying from the East to the West gaining altitude and we all noticed the differences between the objects and the plane itself.

We aren’t sure what we saw but we know that it was not an airplane and chances are that they aren’t commercially available drones. Also, I am a military aircraft mechanic and am very familiar with aircraft flight patterns, size, shape, styles, etc..

Orange objects appear over Gretna, Nebraska.

I was sitting on the patio facing west when I noticed two orange objects coming toward my position. As an ex-USAF I know the characteristics of modern military aircraft. These aircraft were anything but ordinary. The objects flew together, there vector was west to east. The objects first appeared they were at traveling at approximately 45 degrees above the horizon.

The objects appeared to be under intelligent control. When I first saw the objects they were moving at a high rate of speed. After approximately 30 seconds they appeared to slow down. The objects traveled together for approximately 1 minutes when one of the objects disappeared from sight. It just appeared to vanish from sight.

The lone remaining object appeared to slow down considerably, stop and then alter course. The object stopped for approximately 10 seconds before altering its course. The new vector was south by southwest. After altering course the object appeared to pick up speed rather quickly and began ascending. The object was approximately 60 degrees above the horizon when I lost sight of it.

I thought that was unusual experience and I turned my gaze back to the west. I noticed the second object was once again visible and appeared once again to be bright orange. The object was still silent and had no running lights whatsoever. Once the object re-appeared I tracked it’s flight path. The object appeared to follow the identical flight path of the first object. The object also had the exact same flight characteristics of the original object. The second object appeared to slow down considerably, stop and then alter course. The object stopped for approximately 10 seconds before altering its course. The new vector was south by southwest. After altering course the object appeared to pick up speed rather quickly and began ascending. The object was approximately 60 degrees above the horizon when I lost sight of it.

Unusual characteristics: I could not hear any sound coming from either object. Both objects were a brilliant orange in color. Almost like the color of orange sparkling off a diamond a deep fire like orange color. I can’t say that I have ever seen this color before. Words fail to adequately describe the true color of the objects.

These objects did not have the characteristic blinking lights found on military and civilian aircraft. When the objects appeared to stop it was as if they were floating effortlessly.

I have no idea what the objects were but the experience was very interesting.

Orange/reddish light moving at an incredible speed through the night sky.

About 11:30 pm on March 2, 2008, I observed a orange/reddish light moving in a northeasterly direction over the city of Gretna, Louisiana. The time and date is memorable because it was my birthday and my wife and I were visiting New Orleans to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary and my 65th birthday.

The light that I observed was unusual because it proceeded across the night sky at a remarkable speed…taking less than a few seconds to pass overhead and disappear in the night glare of downtown New Orleans. By comparison, moments after the light disappeared, a commercial airliner moved across the sky at a snail’s pace.

The size of the light was comparable to lights one might see on an airplane, not particularly bright but not flashing or changing in color. If at the altitude of normal air traffic, the light would have been moving much faster than the speed of sound. If at a lower altitude, one would have expected a horrendous noise (as from jet fighter plane) but no sound was heard.

The light was definitely not a meteor or a satellite. A meteor would not have moved that slowly and a satellite would not have moved that rapidly. No sparks, contrail, or trailing illumination was observed.

I have watched the night sky all my life and never witnessed anything similar to this rapidly moving light.

3 craft flying low and slow and minimul noise

3 craft were seen coming from a south easterly direction with what appeared to be search lights on the underside and flashing beacons at the corners. No sound was detected until they were directly overhead and then only a minimum rumble was heard. These craft were flying very low and slow. Approximately 700 - 1000 feet high. Maybe 30 - 40 mph. The outline of the craft gave the impression of stealth bombers.

Small red lights in an arc formed over Belle Chase, Louisiana.

I was driving opposite to the moon and I stopped at a stop sign when I saw a small, pin-point red light going past a second, stationary red light mid-skyline. As this occurred I noticed two other red lights creating a semi-circle with the first two. The arc was bowing downwards, like a smile. I saw this around 8:30 p.m., while driving in Gretna, but the sight was over Belle Chase. It lasted for about two minutes. Then I pulled into a Shell station and lost sight of the occurrence. When I left the station, two or three minutes later, I couldn’t find it in the sky.

Red strobbing object, approx. the size of a basketball.

Veteran law enforcement officer observed a red strobbing object, approx. the size of a basketball. The object was observed over a suburban golf coarse, gliding just above the tree top levels, and was totally silent. The object passed directly over the observer, at height of approx. 40ft. This observer has not seen anything like it before, or after. Observer could not observe an actual solid object inside the stobbing light, which strobbed at a consistant pace.
