While staying at an airbnb on vacation in New Orleans, I saw 5 yellowish white orbs levitating right in front of me.

I was on vacation with a girls traveling group from Memphis, Tn. We stayed at this Airbnb in the 3rd ward of New Orleans. When we first arrived at the house it looked very nice and modern. We were excited to experience the New Orleans culture. However, as hours passed, we all started to experience strange things. Throughout the house lights were flickering on and off, shadows being seen in front of windows, feeling the presence of someone else and hearing footsteps when no one was upstairs. However, we stayed at this Airbnb because we had already paid in full and could not get a deposit back. Saturday evening me and my mom shared the master bedroom on the first floor. We were in the room; I was standing up watching a big Fredia's bounce video and I went across the room to sit on the left side of the bed. However, I was stopped in my tracks in front of the bed, facing towards the bedroom door. I immediately saw 5 yellowish white orbs levitating in front of me as if they were looking right at me. I immediately felt cold and got goosebumps on my skin. I was in a state of shock, frozen in place until they vanished from my sight. I turned and told my mother what I just seen. She did not see them but believed that I saw them and that this house had many different spirits.

Two bright, unblinking white lights flying toward me rose, banking together then phased out followed by two smaller lights on horison.

A friend and I had just packed up our kayaks after paddling on the bayou St John. I was shaking my friend's hand good evening when I saw behind him two bright white lights. They looked to be less than a mile away above City Park, coming toward us; roughly the width of a commercial plane's wings if it were very near. The lights were unblinking which is why I pointed it out to my friend. As we stood watching and wondering what aircraft had those lights, the lights rose together and appeared to be banking like a plane then phased out as if they flew behind a cloud bank. I could still see stars where the lights disappeared so there was no cloud. There was no engine noise of a commercial jet. We stood and watched to see if they would re-appear and that's when I saw two separate, unblinking lights on the horizon above City Park that raised and faded out one after the other.

We saw a star like object floating, it quickly darted away and came back a different shape

We were on our fifth story roof, when we noticed what looked identical to a star, but so close it had to be in our atmosphere. It stayed stationary above the river for about 40 seconds. Then it almost instantly, within less than 2 seconds darted what must’ve been hundreds of miles away. It was so far we almost couldn’t see it.

Then it came back in about 30 seconds it was back flying to the side of the river. Right above us. It was completely silent regardless of being right above us,

This time it did NOT look like a star, it look to be a shape I’ve never seen in the sky. Closest shape I could describe it when it returned is a trapezoid. It had red and white lights, on all corners flashing in an erratic pattern.

Within another 30 seconds, it had completely flown out of our line of vision.

It was so bizarre and cool!

High Flying UFO almost collides with another high flying UFO

On walking around the French Quarter with my friend, who was another witness, I noticed a high flying light in the sky that appeared to be near low earth orbit. At first I thought it might be a satellite, but I noticed that it seemed to be making slight direction adjustments on its path. It must have been moving very quickly because it was out of view in about 2 minutes and I watched it go across the whole sky. At about 1 minute of watching it, I noticed another UFO coming from the opposite direction in an almost perfectly intersecting path with the first one. By the time they were near each other, they were EXTREMELY close to actually colliding. If this is a satellite, I find it very irresponsible that the people in charge of these would allow them to fly this close to each other at those speeds. If they hit, that could cause major damage on the ground. Due to the flight adjustments the first one was making, however, I highly doubt it was a satellite. They just appeared to be bright lights high up. I also witnessed another similar thing not far from there with another gentleman the previous week.

Weird looking circular objects in the sky

I was living in the French Quarter and while I was sitting on my 2nd floor balcony I saw two-three orange and red circular objects circling each other in a formatted motion while hovering over the Mississippi River. I can’t recall exactly how long I was looking at it, but it had to have been about 2-3 minutes. I remember thinking to myself, what in the world is that?! I didn’t think to pull out my phone to take a picture because I trying to process what I was looking at. I had this strong feeling that whatever I was looking at appeared to be other worldly.

Orb like bubble floating in the sky during the day

Out on a walk through the French quarter when myself and about 6+ people looked up in the sky at this floating orb. Everyone was intrigued. I knew immediately it was an ET. I have since been doing further information. What I’ve learned about this orb, is that the ETs have gotten smart and don’t show their ships as much. They literally materialize into our atmosphere before showing their ship so that the air force doesn’t shoot them down. I am a full believer in inter Leo gent life outside of planet earth.

Orange Fire Like Orbs Flying Across Mississippi River.

Multiple Orange Orbs On 3/5/2020, at about 9:30PM, there were 4 orange orbs floating in a slightly uniform square shaped formation. It seemed as if it were something on fire. There was no visible smoke being emitted from the orbs. It was silent when it flew overhead. It slowly faded and disappeared. As the first four orbs started to fade, another single orb flew from across the Mississippi River, in the same direction. Then another orb flew from across the river in the same path as the orb before it; a total of about an additional 6 orbs flew across the sky. The orbs faded into existence and then faded away. There was no crafts in the river, and nothing unusual on the other side that I could see that would indicate where the orbs were coming from or if anything was producing them in the sky.

a point of light, like a satellite, transiting the sky east to west, made abrupt directional changes that seemed to defy physics.

On the evening of Monday, May 13, 2019, in New Orleans, LA, I was facing south/southeast, watching what appeared to be a satellite or the space station transit the sky, east to west, passing almost across the face of the moon (a solid point of light, not blinking, traveling much faster than an airplane, I have witnessed these events many times before) when it made an abrupt turn down and to the right, then back on its original track, before making an equally abrupt turn up and then off on a track perpendicular to the original path. I’ve been watching the night sky since 1987 and have never seen anything like this prior to last night .

spooky cross-like object tumbling and moving along very high in the air. perhaps 5000 ft or so and not losing altitude. 5mph winds.

tumbling cross-like with black 'wings' and white center columns. colors were square in shape. thought it was a trash bag until I noted altitude (just below clouds) and the fact it was tumbling about. Maybe it was trash that could fly and tumble endlessly in the air.

Strange Beams of Light over New Orleans.

My daughter texted me a photo of a beam of light she saw over the New Orleans skyline around 10:00 PM this evening, January 27, 2018. She described the beam as the kind of fire-orange. It emerged from the clouds and remained for about 15-20 minutes. During that time, a second beam also appeared nearby. Then they just disappeared. Face To Face Contact

Hey, a few years ago I was sitting on the sofa. It was approximately, 2pm I looked into the hall when standing at about 6’5 was a pale white being! The only thing it said was “Don’t Move” pointed and a red beam hit my chest. I remained calm and it left. I’ve recently moved back to where it all happened. I just want to this to go in record in case I ever go missing.

I just want to add I’ve rarely ever cared about meeting aliens.

UFO Gulf Of Mexico 80 miles southeast of New Orleans

I am a Chief Engineer on an Offshore Supply Vessel, and the events I am going to put forward are accurate, to the best of my knowledge.

Close to 7:00 pm on March 21st, just before dusk, myself and 4 of the crew members aboard our vessel saw a craft that appeared to be five times our 240 ft vessel in length. My line of sight was about 1/4 mile from our vessel. There was a rig behind the craft about a 1/2 mile. I used this to help gauge size of craft. Sighting was approximately 80 miles SE of New Orleans, Louisiana.

The scene lasted about 40 seconds. The craft rose up out of the water (Gulf of Mexico) about 40 feet, no water was dripping from the craft. Within a split second the craft disappeared at a 30 degree angle into the sky. Speed appeared to faster than speed of a light turning on in a room. Within seconds it had disappeared completely.

I can say for sure that the craft was dark colored, oval in shape and made no sound whatsoever.

With as many rigs (2), there has to be more witnesses than just the four on our vessel.

7 lights flying in formation, changing positions and angles of flight.

About 1 am this morning, several of us were chatting in our French Quarter courtyard when my wife pointed to the sky to ask what “that” was. We had turned all of the lights off 15 minutes earlier, so our eyes were accustomed to the dark and we were using my Google Sky app to point out the planets and constellations. It was a rare clear night (for us) and the stars and planets were particularly sharp.

As I was pointing out Saturn (the brightest point in the sky at the time), my wife pointed out the objects moving in formation about 25 degrees east of Saturn. There were 7 or 8 points of light, maybe 1/3 the brightness of Saturn and a little smaller, moving slowly towards the North. 2 or 3 in the lead, 3 more fanned out behind and 2 more bringing up the rear. They would change positions but moved at the same rate of speed in tandem – very slowly – with an occasional stop to regroup before proceeding again. Far too high, close together and small for any ai! rport or military traffic, which don’t fly that trajectory anyway when approaching Armstrong Airport.

The members of our party watched them, mostly in silence, for close to 15 minutes until they disappeared behind the buildings. We tried video-ing the lights, but the footage didn’t turn out.

It was a pretty well-heeled and older group of us at the end of our party – a real estate agent, a general contractor, 2 lawyers, 2 musicians and (I believe) a retired judge.

3 Flashing White Lights and 1 Flashing Red Light in Triangular Formation - West Riverside

I was in my meditation room with the lights dimmed facing two windows. I was looking down, when something caught my eye, causing me to look up to the window. I saw three bright flashing lights in a triangular pattern with one flashing red light up towards the apex of the triangle which seemed unusually close as I peered outside of my window.

At first, I thought it was a plane, but then I quickly saw that it was not, that it was a perfect triangle and that there was something very peculiar about this craft. After it flew out of my view, I immediately ran to the adjacent bedroom to see if I could see it out of that window. I could not, so I grabbed a pen and paper to draw what I saw, as I did so I looked at my phone and saw that it was 11:11. The craft was flying southeast towards the Mississippi River.

After the incident, I thought I heard some electricity sounding noises, like static and beeps, but I just figured it was the air conditioner. The air seemed electric after the incident, like there was more static electricity in the air.

Large dark gray dolphin-shaped object in the air found in a photograph, but was not seen or heard by the photographer.

My girlfriend’s sister was on a trip in New Orleans, Louisiana, and she snapped a picture of a multi-seat horse drawn carriage with her Iphone. Only later did she see the strange irregularly "dolphin" shaped and fairly large dark gray object floating in the air in the photograph. I asked her if she saw it or heard any sounds and she said no. She didn't hear anything, and she did not see it. The photo was taken on November 14, 2015, at 10:23 AM (not sure if it was Eastern or Central time as the photo EXIF data doesn’t specify. The phone's owner lives in North Carolina so if it doesn't change with the local carrier, it would be set to Eastern Time).

Daytime contact with an UFO

I was in the Coast Guard in New Orleans in 1980. I was stationed at the Coast Guard base on the industrial canal. It was a Sunday and I had watch. My watch included walking to the docks and ensuring the vessels were properly tied off. I had the 0800-1200 watch. The weather was clear with no visible cloud deck, the temperature was 70-80 degrees. While I was walking on the dock, I stopped and talked to two other coast guardsmen who I had known from Bootcamp. One was fishing around the docks and the other was going to relieve me in the next hour or so. While we were standing there talking I noticed a slight line in the sky approximately 20 yards away and a 50 degree angle south. I focused on the line and realized it was a small (4-5 foot diameter) disc rotating. The bottom and of the disc was the same color as the sky. The top of the disc during a slight uneven rotation was dark. The line was the slight uneven rotation appearing like a line.

I pointed to the object and offered simple orientation verbiage until both of the other men saw the object. For the first two or three minutes we stood and stared. I asked the men to describe the object in as much details as they could. The object was within 20 yards of our location and clearly visible. In fact I commented that if I had a sidearm, I could easily shoot it. There appeared to be small circular deviations in the surface below the center of the widest part of the diameter. We discussed the lack of sound, vapors, lights or purpose for the small circles. We discussed the possible propulsion system and observed no evidence to indicate a source.

At that time I begin to use common aircraft taxiing signals to attempt to communicate with the object. The airplane signals were not responded to however, when I started using helicopter signals the object would respond by descending in small movements to the landing signal. At that time we observed the upper portion of the object was dark in color similar to the color of the water. I attempted other common movements including pointing, waving and signal the object to come closer without response.

According the one of the men, we had at that time engaged the object for 15-16 minutes and the only response had occurred from the helicopter signals. I moved closer to the object until I was at the end of the dock and my position was approximately 10 yards from the object and it was at about 75 degrees. I continued to describe the physical characteristics of the object.

When the two other men moved toward the end of the dock, the object moved rapidly to the west until it disappeared. We used dead reckoning and all measurements in angle or degrees are approximate.

We report the incident to the Watch Commander and met with an officer from the Air Force. He listened to our statements and advised us “to forget about it because by the time we were debriefed we wouldn’t know our own family.” This is a discrete incident and I have conveyed the complete event.

It was traveling multiple Mach, way faster than any plane could have possibly flown. I have seen many meteors in my life, this was definitely not one.

I would suspect it crashed or impacted based in its trajectory somewhere along the Mississippi gulf coast area.

Trail of fire in the sky extinguishes itself to reveal tear shaped craft hovering before rapid acceleration

On October 25th, 2014, at approximately 18:30 hours, I, along with a female friend, spotted what we believe to be a U.F.O. while driving from New Orleans, L.A. to Hammond, L.A. We spotted the craft while driving west bound on interstate I-10, between Kenner, L.A. and Laplace, L.A. The craft was to our left, to the south west. At first it looked like an airplane was on fire and falling out of the sky. There was a long trail of what can only be described as fire followed by smoke. At first glance I would guess that this streak of fire was somewhere between 20,000 and 30,000 feet in the air, which made me initially think that it might be an airplane on fire. We continued to watch the object as we drove west bound on I-10. We began to realize that whatever this was it was falling at a very slow rate, almost as if it wasn’t falling at all. After watching this object for roughly 8-10 minutes, what appeared to be fire and smoke had extinguished and the craft ! was now visible and at roughly 10,000-15,000 feet in the air to the south west of Laplace, L.A. The best way I can describe the object is to say that it was shaped like a pistachio shell. There were no visible wings, props, or engines. Its’ exterior was smooth. When the body of the craft became visible it was apparent that it was no longer moving at all. It was hovering around 10,000 feet. We watched it hovering in the sky for roughly 10 seconds before it started to accelerate from a stand still. It gained a tremendous amount of speed in less than 3 seconds. Roughly 15 seconds after it began to accelerate we lost sight of it.

I should note that the way in which it flew was eerily similar to what is portrayed in a science fiction movie. It moved across the sky as if time had suddenly stopped and the only thing left in motion was the craft itself. It was very strange. I work in the aviation industry and am quite familiar with different types of aircrafts. I can honestly say I’ve never seen anything move across the sky like I did on the afternoon of October 25th.

Three orange lights seen over Lake Pontchartrain, New Orleans, La.

I stepped on the back porch facing West at 8:45 pm. I observed 3 orange lights in the same spot I had observed, photographed and recorded video of them on September, 14, 2013.

Less than 10 miles away, over the South off shore of Lake Pontchartrain, bordering New Orleans to the North.

I grabbed my camera and took a few shots before they disappeared. Cloud cover may have obscured them. The top one disappeared first. The middle one seemed to move either up or closer to my position before it was not able to be seen. The 3rd one, the bottom one, acted the same way, moving up or closer and then was not able to be seen.

It lasted less than 2 minutes.

7 still shots and 7 seconds of video taken. No signs or sounds of aircraft in the area. The dogs in the area were barking.

Violet light seen zig-zagging quickly across night sky

I was sitting on my porch smoking a cigarette around 10PM, near Children's Hospital, looking south in the direction of the Mississippi River.

I was looking at the sky, when between two houses, I saw a violet/pink light appear. The light was small, appearing as though it was far off in the distance.

The light would stay in one location for several seconds, zoom quickly in zig-zag fashion to another location, hover for several seconds, and so on.

It would occasionally dart behind a house where I could not see it, but then reappear within view and continue to dart and hover in different spots in the sky.

It moved quickly and unsteadily, very much unlike any normal aircraft that I have seen.

Extremely fast object across New Orleans sky

A friend and I were in the front yard when we saw a supremely fast object travel from one side of the New Orleans sky to the other--until it went out of sight. It was traveling at an incredible speed, easily thousands of miles per hour with absolutely no sound.

We thought it was a comet or shooting star but it was too low for that. Also no trail or smoke and it appeared to maintain a constant speed. Imagine an object going from one end of the sky to the other in 3-4 seconds!

Also as it moved past I noticed a slights green and blue hue.

I've seen plenty of shooting stars and this was not a shooting star or a satelite (it was low).

We were absolutely in awe at the speed of this object!

Large pulsating (5sec) white light in sky above New Orleans for 20+ min.

A friend and I saw a white light in the sky directly overhead as I was leaving her house tonight, around 2:40AM in New Orleans, La, June 29, 2014. It appeared to be holding a position for 5-10 minutes just above a cloud layer that obscured most of the stars, and could not have been more than a few miles above the ground. The object appeared to be roughly the size of a house (but I’m normally not a great judge of size at such a distance). I can say for sure, though, that it was either extremely large, or very close, as in, incomparably larger than the perceived size of a star at my distance. I should also make clear that we never saw its contours--we only saw the light coming through the dark cloud layer that created the almost starless night, tonight. It quickly faded to full brightness and back to darkness (as opposed to blinking) periodically, every 5 seconds, the entire time it was in-sight.

I sent my friend to retrieve her point and shoot camera, hoping it would have better light sensitivity than my iPhone 5S, but as soon as she returned, the light disappeared. We stared for another 2-3 minutes and it did not return. Before finally leaving, I walked back inside to attempt to see if anyone had spoken with the New Orleans Police Department, but no one answered their non-emergency line. After about 20 minutes of that and speaking with my friend about the occurrence, I stepped back outside to leave. The light was back. This time, it appeared just to the right of the same pair of stars it had appeared near earlier. I ran back inside to grab my friend and we watched it pulsate for another several minutes, attempting to video tape, but the light was too faint for the camera. This time, the light appeared to be moving away and then towards us. I thought I saw a flash or two from possible neighboring objects, but it was so faint that I can’t tell for sure. My friend als! o claimed that the light was faintly tinted blue, and I may have caught that once or twice, as well, but once again, I can’t tell for sure.

After a good bit of thought, the following are the points that stand out to me:

1. I have only ever seen a combination of red and white lights coming from man-operated aircraft. The fact that this light was purely white is interesting to me.

2. The regularity of the pulsating of the light (5 seconds between ON states. For whatever reason, this made me lean towards “man-made.” But, who knows?)

3. The size and proximity. My friend suggested that it could be a satellite, but I don’t think it could be so close or so big. I will research the likelihood of this as soon as I’m done filing this report.

4. The fact that the object “disappeared” and “returned.” I believe it’s possible that there were multiple thin layers of obscuring clouds, and that enough finally came between us and the object that it was finally obscured completely. Thinking in these terms, its return was simply those clouds continuing past the object. From this, one may conclude that it disappeared and reappeared, or that it never left. From this, one might also infer that it was moving slowy the whole time and was not exactly static as implied in the first paragraph of this report.

5. UPDATE: 4:38AM, CURRENT TIME: Said friend just called and said someone walked into her back door (that she negligently left unlocked). She believes she say a T-shirt, so we’ll assume he was human. This most likely has no connection to the white light, but I thought I’d mention it.

6. Apparently, the International Space Station has just passed over us, but that was the evening before this one, Friday June 27 2014 at 8:41PM:

Three dull orange spheres flying silently in succession.

I was looking up in the night sky with my binoculars at Jupiter and then the constellation of Orion when I noticed three orange spherical objects coming from the east. First I assumed that they were airliners or local aircraft, but when I saw that they were flying at the same altitude, at approximately a couple thousand feet, and in relatively close proximity to one another (maybe couple thousand feet apart) and one right behind the other, I didn't think it was airliners. when there are multiple airliners flying at one time, they are required to maintain a certain distance apart, vertically and horizontally. These craft were flying one right behind another and all at the same height. There were no navigation or strobe lights typical with any type of airplanes, nor was there any sound associated with the craft (they were absolutely silent) neither jet nor props. The craft weren't moving fast, so I was able to view them with my binoculars and I didn't see any! detail in the craft except a dull orange color. The craft, still in the same linear formation, made a relatively sharp curve to the south and rapidly faded from view. These were neither meteors, ballons, fireworks,birds, nor satellites as the craft's movements did not correspond to any type of those objects.

Ok.. first off I saw Chinook helicopters coming into new orleans around 7-8 pm. Went outside around 10pm to see a HUGE orange orb it looked like it was a smoldering lava rock but perfectly round not moving a hair.. it stayed in the sky for about 10-12 minutes. I eventually witnessed it just literally blink and it was just gone. . Wife and I were very weirded out soon after maybe 30 minutes later we started hearing fighter jets what it sounded like. Around 12 am I heard it for the 3rd time eventually she went to sleep and I stayed outside. 1:43 am rolls around and what looked like jets with odd red pulsating lights some with different formations of light patterns on the belly started to damn near break sound barriers. The crazy thing is I could 100% identify jets but some of them didnt have thrusters on the back and the one that stuck out most was straight narrow with three red lights on the belly and didnt have a thruster nor sound. So idk wtf is going on! but someone said it was a top secret training exercise. . Idgaf who you are but if you believe its a training exercise at 1 -3 am your just a sheep to me.

15 orange glowing objects, triangle inside a circle, silently moving over New Orleans

Noticed unidentified moving light rising from the horizon in the southeast just to the left of the rising moon (about 1 hour after rising). The object moved across the sky at a steady pace and in a direct path toward the opposite horizon. When it was directly overhead, another appeared rising from the same spot just to the left of the moon. This continued until we had seen 15 objects between 22:50 to 23:25 pm Central time.

After we saw the sixth one, I began snapping photos and taking videos with both my iphone and my pocket Leica. To the naked eye, from afar, the objects appeared as a tiny white light, but as they got closer they appeared as a shimmering orange light and I thought I could see a definite circumference of either a circle or a triangle.

In one of the videos, I can hear myself say, “it looks like a triangle with rounded corners inside of a circle”.

The objects never moved “in formation”, changed direction or speed. They just moved steadi! ly across the sky one after the other in exactly the same path as the one before and all were completely silent.

Large Triangle UFO Over French Quarter New Orleans Hovers, Then Vanishes Into Sky With Picture

http://i.imgur.com/EDlNN.jpg Whats in that picture is the craft flying away from Me. Within a couple seconds it went from about 1,000 feet up to what looks like about 4-5,000 feet up.

Walking through the French Quarter at about 6:30 am, I looked up saw/ heard a passenger jet fly over. I recognized its shape and saw its blinking navigation lights immediately as i have seen many hundreds of air craft before it. I've always been able to identify every single craft i've ever witnessed in the air.

I'm an air force brat, born and raised spent my life studying jets, planes and all things in the air. Plus 'always known about UFOs, seen pictures, heard stories been a fan of Science Fiction since i was old enough to read & about the universe at large. What happened yesterday morning was nothing like i've ever seen or even thought i would ever see. It was like something out of Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind, accept real and in person.

I was confused at first because i didn't recognize the color of the bright lights, heard no sound and couldn't actually see the shape of the craft. It's as tho the lights were deliberately being shined at me.

It looked like very, very bright, orange headlights at first on a slow moving helicopter that hovered to a stop in the middle of my point of view. It was in the middle of the street about 1 mile away and about 500-1000 feet up. It came to a stop when i stopped in the middle of the street.

I looked at it and thought "what is that ?" The shape of the air craft was obscured due to the practically blinding brightness of the orange lights. Now, It reminded me of the feeling of being under a spotlight. The same light in your eyes a DJ person on stage might feel. It was briefly a blinding light.

After a couple seconds of trying to see the shape of the craft, it looked like it was fading and going up into the sky so i grabbed my camera took the photo and it was gone.

The craft was low enough to look like some kind of big hovering mass i couldn't even tell what shape it was due to the brightness of the light shining on me as tho i was under an extremely bright spotlight. I grabbed the camera too the pic and it vanished.

Sorry gentleman, something extraordinary and life changing has happened to me. Yesterday i experienced what i've explained here. Something wonderful, unexplainable and ... after some thought, something i was ready for. I've been preparing since i was old enough to read.

You see those three lights in the picture ? I've just told you where they came from, what it looked like up close as they shined a laser or spotlight on me and that's what it looks like as it speeds away into the sky at about 10,000 miles an hour.

I'm an artist and musician who is creative in many ways, however i'm not creative nor skilled enough to make this up.

NFL GAME, CHINA UFO MATCH? Not sure if you will consider this relevant but thought I'd send it in case you might.

While perusing YOU TUBE UFO videos last night I came across something curiously coincidental about the recent NFL SUNDAY NIGHT GAME UFO incident.

First, pull up the NFL GAME VIDEO on YOU TUBE. Look at those still pictures which the typical media skeptics immediately downplayed as "bugs" and such.

Then pull up the YOU TUBE video " UFO OVER CHINA JULY 7TH, REAL!" 14 seconds into the CHINA UFO video you will see what appears to be an almost identical UFO still photo match to the NFL GAME one.

Two bugs? I have sent this UFO match observation story to Coast To Coast AM as I would think these two world apart but very much alike photos "side by side" would make for an intriguing view for their internet site visiting, UFO interested audience.

Weird light shoots horizontally across sky around interstate I-10 headed east five minutes past Michoud exit before Irish bayou

Was driving east on I-10 interstate when both my wife and I noticed a light shoot across the sky headed east. My wife said it was white light whereas I thought I saw a blue light. But both of us saw the same light shoot across the sky although we could not agree on color. We were headed west just past the Nichols exit about 5 minutes traveling about 65 mph. Light disappeared just as quick as it appeared. Possible shooting star bc it shot horizontally. Was not a flare because didn't have upward or downward arc. Slightly foggy night but bright enough that both of us saw same light.

Four objects over MSY Airport New Orleans

On 4/19/2009, I was at the MSY Airport at the break of dawn and it had stopped raining I wanted to capture aircraft taking off so I pointed my camera towards the airport to capture the morning sky. I took a series of five or six photos examined them as I took them I noticed 3 dots on the film plane that looked like specs in a sort of a triangle formation. I took a few more shots and got a closer look at what appears to be 4 shapes moving at a high rate of speed over the far end of the airport. While I was viewing the seen with my eyes none of these objects were visible.

I was driving home on the highway and there is an overpass that go's over the highway.I looked over it and saw two bright white lights and then one shrunk but was still moving (just smaller) then four more were there just floating around and some vanished and somet really slow just sat there

When we reterned to our home room we were called to our attention by the PA system. Someone stole a lot of cell phones and a lot of calculaters and wallets and money. Someone or something must have stolen it. obviously it was a UFO.

I saw what I saw

I DROVE TO THE CORNER OF THE STREET AND WAS WAITING FOR A CAR TO PASS WHEN I SAW A GREY/SILVER looking round object that looked like it had dents on it and ice (it looked smokey like hot ice but not like in the movies. There was no blinding lights like what people say, it didn't look clean and shiney either.

It moved very slow and was about 2 and 3 stories high in the air and there was a sound that came from it(like a radio wave sound). It was about 60 feet from my car. It came over a house, it moved about 5mph and move to the middle of the street and stopped (it was facing me). It scared the heck out of me and I wasn't going waiting around to find out was else was going to happen. I took of quickly and called my husband and and asked him to go out and tell me what he saw. He said that there was nothing out there but that entire weekend choppers flew in the skys all day. Before then they were not doing that. That night and the entire weekend (at night)there was a light that would turn different colors but it was was still directly even with our street. I am a business owner dont want to be contacted so please don't contact me. I just wanted to say what I saw. No one can tell me that I didn't see what I cleaarly saw with my own two eye.

Cross Shaped UFO with 30 lights on each of the 4 sides and 1 in the middle.

I was standing outside of me dads van at 8:00 pm wating to go to the movies. Suddenly we saw a white light flash on the top of the van. I looked up to see if it was just an helecoptor lookin for somebody.It was'nt it was a CROSS Shaped Figure with about 30 lights on each of the 4 sides.And exactly in the middle there was a green light.

I was so scared. then I saw the army chasing after it in choppers but they could not catch it. NO NOT BECAUSE IT WAS FAST IT WENT ONLY ABOUT 3 MILES AN HOUR.NOT BECAUSE IT WAS SMALL AND HARD TO FIND, IT WAS AS WIDE AS I COULD SEE FROM LEFT TO RIGHT IN THE SKY.

THEY COULD NOT CATCH IT BECAUSE IT WAS OUT OF SPACE ON TOP OF THE EARTH.it was so big and bright with lights. It was possible to see in earth. it lasted about 2 minutes. but suddenly it looked like clouds suddenly came under it and made it dissaper.I THOUGHT UFO'S WERE FAKE.BUT THEY ARE REAL

I saw several high speed sphere shaped objects with purposeful erratic turning ability , with night vision goggles

In the early morning hours of the 3rd or 4th of September immediately after hurricane Katrina. I was volunteering my time at the 4th district Police Station in New Orleans. I was a Paramedic for about 25 years and was CEO of a large EMS until 2004 when I sold the company and was in retirement.

The sky was full of stars, there was no power for close to a hundred miles in all directions, everything was pitch black in the City and, the sky was bright. This was the first night any of the military showed up and we started getting additional manpower from ICE and many Police Departments from all over. I was waiting on the commander,I usually road with him and the Leiutenant. We had two military guys that were there when I arrived. One of them was playing with a Pit Bull puppy that was hanging around the station. He had two night vision goggles with the single scope.

I asked if I could try them out and he told me to knock myself out. I looked around a few minutes then turned to the sky. Ihave never seen so many stars in my life the sky was glowing and I was in awe. I was looking to the west nw when I saw what appeared to be a really bright shooting star very high crossing to east se. It crossed the sky within a second or so and it was well east of us when it stopped, made a purposeful movement like a semi circle then shot directly south and disappeared. I was freaking out and couldn't believe what I saw. It was about the size of a pea with a tiny haze around it when it made the turn it seemed to have a slight distortion in the haze.Almost like a tiny tail. I kept looking in astonishment and I kept seeing them all over the sky. I pulled the night goggles off and I couldnot see them at all. I got to thinking they could be birds or bugs or maybe a bats. I went near a light run by the generator and with ina few minutes ruled that out. I kept looking in fascination I saw other objects that flew straight over with an angelic glow or or aura, but these looked like they were orbiting. They traveled straight and lower in the sky at a fixed altitude.This I felt confident was a satellite. The UFO's were completely different,They moved much faster had purposeful movement and made very erratic turns not capable with any aircraft I know of. A captain from a sherrif;s in Iowa was sitting with me and saw them as well, we were taking turns with one pair and he was as amazedas me. About 3 or 4 am some clouds moved in partially blocking the sky.I was looking up and saw one coming from the west when it made sharp turn came directly over them staion under the clouds, it was huge and fast, it covered my whole feild of vision in the goggles.It moved so fast it was like a blast of light moving over, no wind,no sound. I tried throughout the night to film it with the google over my camera but it didn,t work. The cloud cover got thicker and I didn't see them after that. I am convinced that ! you can probably see these on clear nights with good night vision goggles. I saw too many of them for it to be afluke and I would be interested to know if any one else reports similar experiences.I saw at least fifty of them over a three hour period. I have never seen a UFO before this and I really don't believe that aliens could reach us if they do exist, but I saw what i saw.

on Fox 8 news in the city of new orleans, weathermanman Bob Breck had his skycamera pointed at the sun to watch it set for the weather cast. of course, a ufo flies by for all to see. Breck was real perplexed as were the viewers and the tallking head anchorman. We've watched this news show for decades and this has never happened b4.

The ufo was in low flight over the city where no airplanes are allowed. Call these people and get a copy of the ufo weathercast.

This thing looked like a stare and then something elses cant say just what elese just something strange

I am an Air Conditioing Contractor. We were on a flat roof changing out several Air Conditioning Systems. I went down my ladder to get a tool off of my truck and started back to the ladder.

After climbing a few steps up the ladder I spoted something that I knew was not normal, so when I got to the top of my ladder I called out to my nephew and brother " What's That" they both turned to look where I was pointing.

Then I rememberd that I had my Kodak EasyShare DX4900 Digtal 4.0 MEGA PIXELS camera, so I started back down the ladder to get it out of my truck where I just had placed it from taking photos of our work for the web page.

I tell you what, this thing was standing still just hovering over us untill I started taking photos at which time it started to move away and starting climbing higher, I know this thing knew I was taking photos of it. It looked like a stare then it looked like something else not sure what shape to call it but it was changing all the time we were looking at it, but most of the time it looked like a star really bright at times and then not so bright I managed to take 3 photos of this thing before it got out of sight. What a day

Tonight at 9:10pm central time, I took my dogs outside. While waiting, I looked to the northwest and noticed a satellite heading southward. I moved around in the yard quite a bit to keep the satellite, Cosmos Rocket 1943 or 1697, in my view and I watched it until I could no longer see it.

I continued to watch the sky to the west. At 9:15pm, I saw a brief pulse of white light out of the corner of my eye which made me turn my head to the right slightly. About 60 degrees west, I saw the pinpoint of light pulse one time for approx. ½ second, then go out, then reappear 3 seconds later a tiny bit further to the northwest, stay lit for ½ second , then go out again. I watched this process for approx. one minute until I could no longer see it due to trees blocking the view. The object was heading northwestward. The color of the light did not change and was only visible when it would pulse. The duration of the pulses of light were always ½ a second long, but duration between pulses ranged anywhere from 2 to 7 seconds. The magnitude of the pulse was that of an average star, well below that of Venus, which was clearly visible to me in the western sky. I observed 2 aircraft heading eastward and was able to determine that the pulses of light were not like the aircraft in anyway. I checked Heavens Above.com and there were no satellites at this time heading northwest. The object covered ¼ of the sky in about one minute.

Yellowish/orange star like light

April 9, 2004: At 8:45pm central time, I was observing the sky to the east and noticed a star like object in the sky that was moving downward. The object seemed to be rotating high in the atmosphere and was reflecting light at intervals of 3 to 4 seconds while it moved slowly downward, almost snakelike. The light seemed to be the steady magnitude of a dim star when not reflecting. I lost sight of the object at about 30 degrees above the horizon.

9:10pm: At my zenith facing eastward, I saw another star like object moving SSW and followed it for about 20 seconds with 7x35 binoculars. The color of the light through the binoculars was yellowish blending into an orange/red on the outer edge and did not blink or pulse. I could see no shape to the object, only light. I looked down to see what the time was, and when I looked back up, I could no longer find the object. Weather conditions were clear and mild.

I was a visitor to New Orleans for the 1st time taking pictures, we had taken a picture of Cafe Monet, and then a picture across the street of Jackson Square, thinking it was very beautiful. When we returned home and looked at the pictures from our trip, I discovered a bright silver object in the photo, it appeared just over the building in Jackson Square, but to the right. I took out a magnifying glass to get a better image and it appeared to have a slight dome on the perfect dome with a protrusions below it. The photo is very clear, but we never saw the object before and during the picture.

Star-like object meandering in sky

6:40pm Central time. While outside talking on the cell phone with my mother, I looked up at the moon, which was directly overhead, and saw a star-like object in the southern sky move westward toward the moon. It looked just like an average star, except it was moving. The object did not blink, was white in color and appeared to be very high in the atmosphere. It did not leave a trail and was moving approximately the same speed as a satellite. The object passed under the moon and was obscured by clouds moving in from the south. The sky was mostly cloudy at the time with a few breaks in between to where the moon and stars were clearly visible.

When I saw the object, I pointed in the direction I was looking (south) and said to my boyfriend and mother (on the phone), "Look at that star moving up there, by the moon!" I viewed the object for 3 or 4 seconds before I lost sight of it behind the clouds. I looked at the time on the cell phone and noticed it to be 6:40pm. My boyfriend did not see the object, but continued to look at the sky. My mother, who lives on the North shore of the Lake Pontchartrain (I live on the South shore), did not see the object as she was inside at the time. I then told my mother I would call her back and continued watching for the object, but did not spot it again.

We decided to stay outside a little longer and I continued to watch the sky, which was still mostly cloudy with fewer breaks in between the visible areas.

7:40pm - Spotted what appeared to be the same object again in the Southeastern part of the sky, which was clear at the time. I pointed it out to my boyfriend and said, "There it is again!" We both watched the object move erratically northward, then ENE until it passed out of our view of the horizon. Looked at the clock on the cell phone and it was exactly one hour later than the first sighting. Duration of second sighting was 10 to 12 seconds. When I spotted the object the second time (my boyfriend did not see this part), it moved quickly in a very erratic motion then moved northward at a steady rate, where my boyfriend was also able to pick it up. The general movement of the star-like object reminded me of an insect in flight (specifically a dragonfly), where the dragonfly would hover over a potential landing site, i.e.: stick or twig, examine the site a bit but not landing (or as if it was performing evasive maneuvers from another insect) and then flying off to find a better spot, not in a straight line but meandering.

I then called my mother again and told her what I saw. I said the object was heading in her general direction and she should go outside and see if she could spot it. I told her it was pretty cloudy on the South shore of the lake, but the North shore seemed to be in a clearing, as she did not see any clouds, nor did she see the object.

Another factor that my be relevant, but was not noticed at 6:40pm, possibly due to the cloud cover, is there was a strange halo around the moon (one quarter full) that I had never seen before. The halo was approximately 6 1/2 to 7 feet in diameter from my perspective with the moon being 1/2 inch in diameter. I have see halos around the moon many times before, but they were always close to the moon, never this far away! My father said the halo was probably due to ice crystals in the atmosphere reflecting the light of the moon. The color of the halo was the same color as the moon and a perfect circle. I watched as clouds covered the area of the sky that the moon was located and the halo was also covered. I could only see it when there was a break in the clouds. The object, when spotted the second time, was within this halo on the Eastern side (moon was now in SW sky). I watched the object pass out of the halo and continue on as described above.

We went inside at this point since there were just too many clouds. I went back outside at 8:40pm and the halo was still around the moon, but I could only get glimpses of it through the clouds. The sky was almost completely covered in clouds at this point. I did not spot the object again.

I then went back inside and received a call from my mother. She stated that she could also see the halo around the moon, but it appeared to be purplish in color to her. She also saw 2 beams of iridescent light shining down in her general direction on the North shore of the lake, between 8:00pm and 8:40pm, she's not sure of the time as she was going in and out of the house. She described the lights as being an upside-down v, with the moon being the starting point. The lights appeared to be "bubbling inside" with iridescence, as stated by my mother. She thought the lights might be a trick of the eye or a reflection off of her glasses. She could not tell if the beams of light were touching the ground from her vantage point. My mother said she began to feel uneasy at this point and went back inside. I went back outside to see if I could see this as well, but the moon was not visible.

My mother calls back at 8:50pm and says, "I'm not going out there anymore! I saw the beams of light again." She went on to describe the lights as stated above, but felt like one of the beams was shining directly at her. She got scared and went back inside. I haven't heard from her this morning, but I assume since she didn't call me back, she didn't observe anything else unusual.

Satellite in sky over New Orleans?

Jan 28, 2004. At 7:20pm, while taking my dogs outside, I looked up at the moon which was approx. 70 degrees in the western sky at the time, and I noticed what I thought was a satellite traveling across the sky in an easterly direction.

The object appeared to me to be the same intensity as an average star and was not blinking. I noticed it in the western sky, and watched it move under the moon (about 3 inches under moon from my perspective) and across the sky, heading toward Orion's belt.

I watched the object for 1 min before opening up the front door and calling to my boyfriend, who was on the computer at the time. I told him I thought there was a satellite and he should come check it out. While he was on the way outside, I watched the star-like object pass through the constellation Orion and start to fade out, as if high, thin clouds were passing over. By the time he made it outside, I could no longer see the object in the sky. I pointed out the direction (southern sky) of where I last saw the object to my boyfriend, but he didn't see anything.

I continued to watch the southern sky to see if I could spot the object again. My boyfriend was watching the sky to the NNE and spotted an object that looked like a star moving fast across the sky in a southernly direction. The object moved at first in a straight line, then moved erratically, and back to a straight line. The object seemed to him to leave sort of a small trail as it moved across the sky. I looked up to where he was seeing the object and I did not spot it. He lost sight of it soon after and also seemed to lose interest, as he went back inside. The duration between the time that I first spotted my object to the time that my boyfriend went back inside was approx. 5 mins.

I stayed outside watching the southern sky in the direction where I lost sight of the object I was viewing. I watched for another 5 mins. or so and spotted the object again, in the same place where it seemed to pass behind the high, thin clouds, as if it had stopped and started moving again. This could have been another object, I am not sure. It was still traveling toward the east, but the intensity of the light was not as bright as before, still suggesting the cloud cover. I immediately called for my boyfriend to come back out. When I looked back up to the sky, I could no longer see the object.

It was a very clear night, with high, thin clouds starting to appear from the SSW on the GOES-12 infrared weather satellite (I checked this 30 mins. later), but no clouds were visible from my perspective.

They were flying in a tight fomation like fighter jets do, but they were no fighter jets.

Well I was out side looking up at the roofer on the roof who was cutting a hole in the roof for my Vent pipe to come through for my HVAC system I was installing, when what I thought at 1st to be 2 ballons flying over head. After taking a better look I relized these were no ballons. They were flying together in a tight fomation like figther jets do, and moving very fast in a straight line. These objects where moving from west to east along the Mississippi River. The 2 objects where silver or could have been white in color and were round inshape, they were about 1200 feet off the ground and were making no sound at all. The sky was clear in the area I saw these objects, another thing I noticed that there were a lot of Jets in the sky on this day, some very high and some kinda low but more jets then usual. I can say this much, these things were like nothing I have ever seen before. After seeing these ojects I noticed they made me somewhat confussed and even a little frighten, really hard to explain the feeling that came over me after seeing them.

I hear people on the TV say they see things in the sky and often I wonder if they are telling the truth. Well here I am one of those people and I do belive them now. I am a 44 year old healthy male with a wife and 3 kids, I am also a small Air Conditioning Contractor, and after today I really do look at UFO's sightings in a different way. I will be looking up in the skys more often now for sure. All this took place in the day time right about 12:30 pm in New Orleans La.

south to north movement, possiblt light reflected from the sun, it appeared to be rotating like on an axis.

at the university of new orleans. 75-80 degrees from directly up(90 degrees) and to the west. this aircraft was travelling from south to north. the sky had alot of clouds, white clouds and 'mostly cloudy'.

what got my attention was that it appeared to me to be rotating as it was moving to the north. every few seconds it appeared that the sun would reflect and the object would 'light up', then it would return to a possibly metallic color. i don't see many aircraft travelling over new orleans in a south to north path.

this object was travelling fast, faster than i think 'normal' aircraft travel. as it would go behind some clouds i would try to project the next place i would seee it. the object each time would get there faster than i had expected.

When I was getting home and getting off the car, I saw a silver oval shape object (it is hard to describe, but I will said is was like a computer mouse shape). The sky was clear and still with some daylight, so what got my attention was that the object was not moving and did not looked like a plane. I also noticed that some birds started flying toward the direction of the object (but the object was pretty far from them) and when I took a minute to watch something else, the subject was gone.

I saw a small white sphere cross the sky in a straight line

I can't say this is the most interesting UFO sighting in history, but I still can't identify the little fella, so here it is: My friend and I were walking down Maple Street in New Orleans one overcast afternoon (it was more than a year ago and I can't remember the month at all, really). I looked up, probably to check for rain, and saw a white-looking sphere gliding overhead. I thought it was a balloon, or given the nasty weather, a weather balloon, but it was hard to get any sense of distance or scale; the sky was perfectly gray and overcast, and there was no noise. I called my friend's attention to it, and we may have asked a passer by for an opinion (I don't remember). Anyway, although I initially maintained it was a balloon, it flew in a perfectly straight line at a constant speed, all the way across the sky, which I wouldn't expect from something traveling on air currents. I'm an engineer with lots of fluid dynamics experience, and I've seen balloons get carried away in wind. If this sphere was entrained in an air current... well, I haven't seen anything like it. Eventually it disappeared over the horizon; not knowing how high it was, I can't estimate the speed, but it must have been fairly quick.

Sadly, there's no abduction to report. If my friend and I were late to where we were going, it was our own fault, as usual.

Small mettalic spheres "chasing" each other

I was working at One Shell Square in downtown New Orleans at the time and there is limited parking in the building and there is a suttle that takes you from the building to the Superdome parking. I was waiting for the bus when this occured.

This was two days after 9/11 and there was a no-fly zone over the entire country. I was looking up thinking that this may be the only time in my life that I might see the sky with no aircraft in it at all. I noticed a metallic looking sphere(ish) object sort of darting around very high up. It was so small that I could barely see it. It was moving about in sort of a random pattern much likr a bird might, not taking up too much of the sky in its movements.

Then I saw another and another until there were maybe 5-7 up there. They appeared to be maybe chasing each other. It really could have been birds by their movements but I couldn't see any wings and they were so small that, if they were birds, they would have been very high. And, if they were birds and very far away (to appear so small) then they would have been moving really fast.

A man that I did not know was next to me and noticed me looking up. He saw it also. The bus came and after I got out I could not see them again. I'm not sure if I believe in UFO's or not and this sighting is not very exact or detailed, but I wanted to get it out there.

Black Cylinder object seen in the French quarter of New Orleans

I was walking down Iberville St. towards Bourbon St. at est. time of 1845hrs CST. When I noticed a black cylinder object hovering above the buildings (est. 200-300ft). I noticed there was no sound from the object that I could tell. I stopped to men at the corner of Bourbon St. and asked them if they where seeing the same thing. They looked up and saw the object and stated it must be a UFO here for the partying, at that time other stopped and noticed that we were looking up and they notice the object. The object was moving at a slow rate heading in the direction of the Mississippi river. I know that people think I was drinking but, I was not and I know what I saw was real and that others saw it too. If anyone else saw that object in the New Orleans area please report it.

ufo streaked across the sky, like to know what we saw.

My wife and I were sitting outside when she noticed a light in the sky behind me and exclaimed "look at that." I looked up and observed a bright light moving rapidly North in a straight line. I watched the object until trees on the horizon blocked it from view. I thought the object was probably something burning up entering the atmosphere as it streaked across the sky, and when it was almost out of sight I thought I saw a splinter of light seperate. There were no navigation lights and it was larger than any meteor I ever saw. I have seen satellites but this was larger and brighter. This object left no tail, which is curious to me as I witnessed the space shuttle reentering the atmosphere to land in Florida. I am a pilot and my wife is a nurse.

Black cylinders over French Quarter

I was browsing through your site to see if anyone from New Orleans has reported seeing black cylinder objects crossing the sky over the city. I read a report of a someone who saw something similar to what I have witnessed three different times in the French Quarter and the Central Business District of New Orleans. The report I read said in 2/01, the witness only saw one black object slowly moving across the sky. Every time I have seen these objects there were two in formation, casually crossing the sky, all three times I witnessed them at dusk. They move very slowly in a direct path from NW to SE across the city. The most dramatic sighting occured the first time...I was on my balcony, in the late afternoon, on St. Philip St. with my friend, when I noticed the objects moving across the sky. At first I thought they might be birds flying from Lake Salvador to Pontchartrain, as there is always an increased amount of birds in the sky at nightfall. I soon realized they weren't birds and I told my friend to check them out. He got a little freaked out by them but we watched them slowly move across the sky. About the time they had reached the Eastern part of the city, and I estimate they were over or near Lake Ponchartrain, an incoming airliner apparantly swerved at the last minute to miss them, the sound of the jet's engines increasing as the plane veered to it's right and up to avoid the objects which just kept on their course. We were pretty amazed at the whole thing. I have seen the objects twice since then, both times at sunset and both times they were flying on the same course over the city. We have a lot of Military bases near us in Mississippi and Florida, and we often get F-15s and even those warthog planes flying over. I suspect it may be aircraft from a base because of the routine in flight pattern and time of day. But whatever they are, they aren't using jet propulsion and they aren't prop-driven. They are just black cyliners moving slowly across the sky and are un-affected by the motion of the wind.

Light streaked across sky ... power failure/brownout followed.

A light streaked across the sky from West to East and at the same time power failed in a large part of New Orleans. After the power failure, a "brown-out" condition existed for approximately two hours. I called the local power provider, Entergy, and the stated that they had "numerous" reports of outages at the same time (3:30AM). This was the same night as the West Coast event (objects in the sky, alleged booster reentry) featured live on the Art Bell Pgm.

Really weird to see an object flow across the sky slowly but then take off from one end of the sky to the other in seconds

I was standing outside gazing into space and all of a sudden I see this star that gets really bright. First, it floated across the sky real slow. Second it just took off in a zig zag motion travling at the speed of light and then it floated slowly again this went on for about thirty minutes and then it disappeard! I always tell people about it but they never believe so I just wonder about it to my self all the time.

At approximately 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, a huge boom rattled windows and residents throughout south Louisiana and Mississippi. The event, as yet unexplained, shook a surface area 80 miles n/s and 100 miles e/w. Military installations in the area deny supersonic flight by any of their craft, and, at least on this occasion, they should be believed. This was no ordinary jet boom. I was flying a Pan American A-300B4 (Airbus) from New York to Mexico City. Our route took us directly over Biloxi, Mississippi and then over the Gulf of Mexico. This took us over the Gulf just south of New Orleans. As we passed by Biloxi I picked up a very strong radar return about 100 miles in front of our plane directly in our path. It appeared to be a very small but powerful thunderstorm so I didn't pay much attention to it. As we approached the radar return New Orleans Air Traffic Control Center called to ask we could see "something" directly in front of us. I replied we had a small but strong thunderstorm and asked to deviate to the left of the return, still assuming it was a compact but powerful storm.

We made our turn to pass just to the left of the return. As we got within a half-mile of the radar return it completely disappeared. It was there during one sweep of the radar and gone the next. The lights from New Orleans were very bright and I could see clearly towards the city. There weren't any clouds at all, much less a thunderstorm as we flew by the spot where the return had been.

Unfortunately, I was distracted at that time and didn't give any more thought to what had happened, although it was very strange.

It was a few years later that I suddenly thought about what had happened and that it may have some significance. I would like to have contacted New Orelans ATC to see if the controller that was on duty that night was still available but too much time had passed.

This is my 2nd and final report of "sightings" during 45 years and 20,000+ hours flying.

I was about 13 years of age at the time. My uncle was a fisherman and I worked on his boat in the summer as a deckhand. While waiting to leave for the overnight shrimping trip I was looking at the stars when I observed two bright lights circling each other at a high altitude. they looked like stars but were moving at a very high rate of speed. I went to where my uncle was an advised him to look up and pointed to where the lights were and he also observed them of a few seconds circling each other and right after that the two lights shot away from each other in opposite directions at incredible speeds and then they faded away. I have no idea what they were. Stars? Ive never heard of two stars getting caught up togeher like that and then shooting away from each other. Who knows?

My story is short but True . This sighting occurred while fishing in the Mississippi river , in the spring of 1983 , probably April, between one and two o’clock in the afternoon . It was a crystal clear blue sky , with not even a wisp of a cloud anywhere. We were fishing from a floating dock , where river pilots , shipping agents and river workers catch their water taxis to the ships. My fishing buddy and I were using heavy tackle and we caught three large catfish that day. I was on the westbank of the river facing east , and after casting, put my pole down , sat next to it , with my legs over the side , and leaned back on my elbows , looking above the horizon .

Shortly thereafter , I witnessed an oval , light grey object - coming from Out of the blue sky , on my left (N) at incredible speed and bolt across it , due south. The length of sky it traversed was approximately one and a half to two feet of space between outstretched arms. ! It was probably 45 degrees above the horizon or a little higher . Then it disappeared - Into the blue sky , in a split second. The total time of the sighting was no more than 2 or 3 seconds max - no wings , no blinking lights , no sound , no sonic boom , no contrails. It had absolutely no resistance from the atmosphere whatsoever ! I immediately turned to my fishing buddy and asked, “Did you see That ?” , and he said, “ See What ?” – well that figures .

My location was several miles south of New Orleans. It was very high in the sky , 25,000 feet or higher ? , and about the size of a BB or smaller, at arms length , but clear as day against the blue sky. It didn’t stop and ask directions, it was in a big hurry. I felt lucky to see it , even though it felt like I saw something I wasn’t supposed to see. It was either a black budget toy that could fly 10 times faster than a jetliner , in 1983 , without wings and that nagging - friction from the atmosphere problem , or ‘something even more interesting’. This was 27! years a go but I’ll never forget those 2 or 3 seconds for the rest of my life – been looking into the whole matter since then , with negative results as to the whole Truth , but quite satisfied with a bias. I noticed the attached photo on the index page of your site. About 25 or so years ago I saw a remarkably similar sight over my house near the Mississippi River in New Orleans. I had a small telescope set up for observation of a total eclipse of the moon that was occurring that early evening. My father was visiting, and I called him to come see these mysterious lights that were moving over us apparently very fast in a wedge-shape or V shape formation. But they were out of sight before my father could see them. About 10 years later, when I was leaving work on Canal Street in New Orleans, I saw a similar sight. I was alone again, and it was just after sunset. But this time just before the "lights" disappeared from view I saw that they were actually high-flying birds of some kind - probably geese. I had been convinced for years I had witnessed a "real" UFO and would have dismissed as impossible any attempt by anyone to tell me these lights could be birds who were flying high enough to reflect the light of the sun even though to us in darkness at ground level the sun had already set. But I saw with my own eyes these mysterious lights resolve into something not so mysterious at all - or at least not any more mysterious than everything is all the time.

I'm not trying to convince anyone that the lights in the attached photo are birds. I don't know. I can only say that what I saw looked exactly like that. I have several relatives who are solid people with their feet firmly on the ground who have told me of things they have seen for which I see no ordinary explanation - things that certainly were NOT high flying birds - a star, e.g., that is very bright and suddenly breaks into several smaller stars that shoot out in different directions and then return to form a single star again! One of my relatives swears he saw such a sight one night many years ago in the deep woods and swamps of central Louisiana - and I believe he did. So I know there are things happening that we can't explain in any ordinary way. I wouldn't at all be surprised to find in the near future that we are able to confirm in some way acceptable to most people that some of these phenomena are in fact extraterrestrial in origin. But I think we owe it to each other to be as accurate as possible in our observations and to exhaust all ordinary explanations before entertaining thoughts of any extraordinary ones.

Two Saucer Shape U.F.O.'s over New Orleans East.

Two flying saucer shape craft flew just feet above the roof top of our home, if I was standing on the roof I could have touch them.

They were moving very slow and were grayish silver in color with black centers underneath. They made no noise, had no lights and ships flew side by side. My husband and I walk right beneath them as they came over the house and down the long driveway to we got to the road.

As the U.F.O.'s moved over the street they turned southward facing the Lake Pontchartrain, still side by side they took off at a great deal of speed. I went inside and called the air base to report it.

In the past two weeks I have been seeing U.F.O.'s and may have had a close contact. On 10/31/1974 after seeing a strange object fly over our house, my husband and I lost about two hours.

As I stood in my front doorway facing out and talking to husband a huge reddish blinking light traveled from over my house just above the roof and headed west.

The red blinking light was the size of a basketball at arm's length. It looked like it was about to crash as it went straight downward just behind some trees that were three blocks away.

There was no sound at all and I thought it was a plane crash.

On 10/6/1974, I exited my vehicle in the Lake Forest Shopping Center, located in New Orleans east Louisiana. I saw several people looking up. No one was pointing, just starring up.

As I looked up, I saw a large cloud pulsating. It appeared to be a object making the cloud as a cover. It varied in pulsating speed like a throbbing heart beat changing speed while pumping out the cloud. The event lasted approximately 1 minute.

The object started increasing speed of pulsation and a small red fire ball shot out the cloud like a roman candle arching to the west over the city. The cloud/object then blinked out.

Everyone that witnessed this event just resumed their activity liked nothing ever happene.

My husband and I stopped early one morning on a highway to look at a bright object, the object was a large round silver thing.

My husband at the time, and I were coming from Florida on one of our visits home. We were driving from New Orleans over the spillway around 4AM. There was no traffic at that time. We both commented on how empty the roads were at that hour. As we drove on we noticed a bright white light on the other side of the spillway (the higway is seperated and elevated). We decided to stop as the light was so unusual and unexpected. It seemed to be sitting in amongst the trees. We got out of our car to get a better look and it dawned on both of us that there was no sound. There were no frogs croaking, no bird sounds and no sound at all coming from whatever that thing was across from us. It appeared to be silver and round. It had large white lights at intervals all around it. The lights shown down. My husband and I stood looking at the thing in the dark just mesmerized. Suddenly we were standing there and it was light. I don't know how much time passed but when we first stopped it was dark and around 4:30 or so. It was now light and about 5:30 or 6AM. My husband and I both just looked at each other and almost together we said "let's get out of here" and we did. We never talked about that. Every so often I would bring it up but he never really wanted to talk about it. I've told friends about it when talk of UFO's come up. I always say that I believe in them because I saw one. Maybe even went into it but have no memory of it. My ex-husband is an MD and I am a student now, going back to school to hopefully get my law degree after being out over 20 years. I have nothing to gain by telling this story. I just believe that what we saw was a UFO. It doesn't scare me. I don't have nightmares and I've never had such a thing happen again.

My husband at the time and I were travelling on Interstate 10 going through New Orleans coming from Jacksonville, Florida going to our home town of Donaldsonville, LA. We had passed through New Orleans and were on the elevated portion of I-10 over the lake. It was dark and there was no traffic. Suddenly I saw up ahead on the other side of the Interstate some bright lights in the trees. We drove up to the lights but we were on the other side of the Interstate so we could not get as close as we would have liked. We parked the car, got out and walked over to the railing. There was no traffic at all at this time. We stood there staring at a large ovalish object with large bright lights showing down into the swamp. There was absolutely no sound. Usually out there you would hear crickets and frogs and all kinds of wildlife but you could have heard a pin drop. We stood there just mesmerized. The next thing we knew it was light and we were standing where we had stood but it was 2 hours later. We looked into the trees and whatever it was, was gone. We looked at each other and said, let's get the hell out of here. Neither of us have any memory of what happened in that 2 hours. We are divorced now but every now and then I will ask him about it and he says he doesn't want to talk about it. I want to know what happened. Many times I think I will get hypnotized and maybe then I'd remember but there's some fear there. But I would like to know what happened.

One thousand saucers observed telescopically crossing the sun over a ninety minute period.

My sister, cousin, mother and I all were witness to an event where over one-thousand UFOs crossed the sun one bright summer day in New Orleans, Louisiana. (They were viewed telescopically as they crossed the sun’s disk (details below).

The day was a usual clear blue sky scorcher, and being an avid amateur astronomer, I spent much of the day and night just looking around the sky and keeping notes. It was 1971 and I was 13 years old.

The summer was typically boring, and so I tried out my 2.5 inch refractor telescope given to me by my parents a couple of years earlier on sunspot observations; once again, I borrowed a chair from my mother’s kitchen, and placed a leftover poster board (they were only white in those days) on the chair to accept the image from the telescope eyepiece. This way everyone could enjoy the huge image of the broiling sun at the same time as me and I could leisurely sit in the chair I had taken from my desk to make notes and sketch sunspots. This was the umpteenth time I had done this and so I was the only one watching when the event started, interest from the rest of my family having waned over the last many times I had performed this type of observation.

After several hours of watching and sketching that June day in 1971, I noticed a small black dot cross from right to left across the sun’s disk. Being experienced at seeing planes, birds, and insects fly by I was initially puzzled by this rather non-descript and slowly moving object. It took about 5 seconds to cross and was about 1/40 of the sun’s apparent diameter on the poster board. This made the object about a half inch in length. My curiosity increased when a second object began crossing from the right just before the first one exited on the left side of the sun’s disk. I immediately refocused the refractor to get the crossing object better focused, as it had a well defined gray annulus around the black center. Interestingly, the focus for the sun (essentially infinity) was the correct focus for the object! Before the second object exited the sun’s disk to my left (after crossing about 4/5 of the sun’s diameter), a third object entered from the right. Each of these objects were identical; they consisted of a black (matching the center of sunspots, essentially) lozenge shaped center, surrounded by a uniform thickness, very sharply defined gray annular ring. The lozenge length to width was about 3 to one, and the annular gray ring was slightly less than half the thickest (center) part of the black shadow. (In reviewing the sighting afterwards, I took a dish from my mother's cabinet and found that if one held the dish so that it was about 30 degrees from edge on, the projected shape roughly matched the objects I had sighted.) The three objects all exhibited the same shimmering that the sun’s disk and sunspots exhibited, indicating they were far enough up in the air (or out in space?) to be affected by the atmosphere in the same way stars twinkle. I was watching in the afternoon and so my refractor was angled about 45 degrees above horizontal to start with, and about an hour and a half later (after the last object had crossed), it was less than 30 degrees. After another half dozen or so had crossed the face of the sun and cast their shadows on my poster board, I had enough data to enable me to leave the scene and gather my family as witnesses. My cousin and sister were playing outside at the time (they were about three years and two years younger than me, respectively), and so I brought them to the telescope to see what was happening. Being only 10 and 11 years old, their interest waned after just three crossings, since the scenario remained identical; just prior to one object leaving the disk to our left, another entered from our right, over and over. After less than a half minute, they went back to whatever they were doing before I coaxed them into watching “that boring stuff Herbie does”. I yelled for my mom to come see; we lived in one of those duplex shotgun houses in New Orleans; they were called shotgun houses because you could fire a weapon from the front room and it would go all the way through to the one bathroom at the rear without hitting any wall but going through the open doors of each of the four rooms (after the front room, the parent’s bedroom, then the children’s bedroom, then the living room, then the kitchen). It was easy to yell for her even though she was all the way back in the kitchen. Her reply was typical of when I asked her to come see something – whether through my microscope or telescope; a delaying action born of many observations of relatively boring (to her) objects. She said she was busy and would be there soon.

I asked her to bring the camera (a box black and white) so I could photograph the sun’s disk and these crossing objects, and again she said she’d be there soon. After about an hour I had to relieve myself (one does drink fluids in New Orleans on a hot summer day!) and so I asked my sister to take over and watch if anything changes. I took the opportunity to implore my mother to come see again and after I returned to the refractor and the objects passing (my sister had already abandoned her post to go play again) she showed up without the camera, saying it had no film. She watched for about 30 seconds and then went back to the kitchen, apparently as uninterested in the whole thing as my sister and cousin; it didn’t affect anything that day (or even for the conceivable future), and so I alone was left to the task of watching what I could only assume were alien visitors from space moving from one place to another in single file in their flying saucers.

About 90 minutes after the procession started, it ended. Not as abruptly as it started, however. At first near the end there was no follower to the object exiting to the left side of the sun’s disk where it should have been, but then another would show up timed as if there had been the "missing" object, and followed appropriately by the next object entering from the right as the prior object exited to the left. This occurred several times before no more objects entered or exited the sun’s image.

Altogether I estimated 1,080 (that’s one-thousand and eighty, give or take) had passed between my 2.5 inch objective refractor telescope with Barlow lens and the sun. Near what was to be the middle of the event, or about 45 minutes into the procession - the density of crossing increased several times. At one point there were five objects "on screen" at the same time. A single object entered from the right, as usual when the prior object was nearing its exit to the left, when a pair of objects entered shortly after. The top object in this pair was in line with the boring procession as it had unfolded for the last three quarters of an hour, but the companion was below and to the rear, offset about half the length of one of these objects and down about the width in close proximity. When the single object had reached the spot where another object entered opposite it on the sun’s face, another object did enter, and was followed almost immediately by another (fifth) object. This train of discs continued across, followed by four in line objects, and then the pattern returned to normal, with only two objects on the sun's face at any one time (until the end of the event, of course).

Also during what was to be the middle of the event, I tried to detect the objects before and after they crossed the sun proper, by moving my telescope just off to either side of the sun and looking directly out into the clear blue sky. I saw nothing through the refractor (neither directly or cast on the poster board), nor did I see anything with the naked eye as I shielded my vision with my hand from direct sunlight.

Were they ours or theirs? Earth made or made somewhere else? I don’t know. However, subsequent to this observation, I read in a Charles Fort book that a Mexican astronomer by the name of Bonilla had witnessed a similar train of shadows in 1883. More recently, I have found several other astronomical sightings through the internet that resemble my 1971 event (though with far fewer numbers) and I have done some back of the envelope calculations using elementary trigonometry that shows the objects would have been about 100 feet in diameter if exo-atmospheric. Additionally, the difference in girth from a thin plate held at an angle and the thicker, lozenge shape of these objects I found could be explained if they had some thickness to them.

There are other analyses and minor observations related to this event, but these are best left for a later time, as this e-mail has gotten way too big already! If anyone else has heard of or seen such things, I would appreciate feedback.

Spec of light in sky changes course around another spec of light.

My dad worked for NASA during the 60's and 70's and we often looked up at the sky at night to look for satellites. The event took place one night as I looked at the sky. I guess I was about 10 years old, I was on our front porch by myself and I spotted a satellite or so I thought. It did not look any different from all the others I had seen except for the fact that it changed course. I distinctly remember watching as this spec of light approached another spec of light which I assume was a star or planet. I realized of course that the satellite is circling the earth and would pass in front of this other spec of light. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. The spec of light I thought was a satellite went around the other spec of light. It made a perfect half circle around the planet or star and continued on its original path. My mother was near the door and I called for her to see it. She got to the door in time to see it finishing it's half circle.

Both the star or planet, and what I thought was a satellite seemed to be about the same size. So this UFO had to be about the same size as the planet or star. Also it was moving at about the same speed as a satellite would move across the sky. Given it was on the same plane as the planet or star it had to be moving at an incredible rate of speed to appear to be moving at the same speed as a satellite circling the earth.

My fiancé, Joe, and I were in the parking lot of Lenfant’s Restaurant that also had car service. This part of the parking lot faced Greenwood Cemetery separated by a chain link fence. This was in the very back of the parking lot, and was favored by young people who wanted to 'neck.' We had been out all day and had stopped in here for a soda before I had to ge home. It was on a Sunday because I had to be home by 9:00pm. We were talking when I noticed something moving in the cemetery between the tombs. (Let me explain that in New Orleans the tombs/graves are raised and can stand as high as 5-6 feet or more. They are rectangular and made of concrete with the front panel having the names of the family members buried there.) It seemed especially odd since the people moving seemed to be small, maybe 3/12 to 4 feet tall....children?

This cemetery was bound by a railroad track, Interstate, main street, two restaurants and vacant land. There was no residential property bordering or close to this cemetery. The activity was brisk, as I could see the shadows between the graves moving back and forth in what appeared to be working. I also noted they seemed to go toward the right. (I think we/the car were facing west.) Then I saw small lights with some of the movement. My fiance noted this activity and asked me if I was seeing what he was seeing. He described the same things I had noted. We speculated that it would be very strange for children to be in there at night (this cemetery is locked every night) or at any time. We compared the size of the 'kids' to the size of the tombs and concluded their height. As we sat in disbelief just watching all this activity we also noted that we were the only ones parked who weren't necking and probably the only ones noticing this. We watch for at least 10 minutes fascinated. Then all the movement seemed to move to the right and were no longer back-lighted so we could not see them. We shrugged and continued conversation.

Within several minutes, we then saw, on the right, lights coming on in a large circle. These were not any kind of light I had ever seen. Although they were illuminated, they did not give off light as is usual rather they were pure, the opposite of pitch black......if that makes sense. We stared fixed on this large ?? and watched as it lifted off the ground. Our windows were open and there was no sound. We were about 60-80 feet from this object. It lifted straight up slowly then it stopped were we could clearly see it was round and had a rounded top and flat bottom. Then the white lights went off and a triangle of lights appeared underneath the craft, one red, one green, one white. Then it took off toward the west at an amazing rate of speed. It was both continuing to climb and moving away from us.

We just sat there, we coldn't speak. We decided rather than talk about what we saw we would go visit my best friend and separately tell her our story. We looked around us to see who else might have seen this but everyone was occupied necking. We got to my friend, Ida's, house both very shakened and told her we wanted to tell her something but we wanted her to hear it seperately from each of us. She agreed and that's what we did. After she told us that we both described the exact same thing.

Sometime in the 1980's while visiting my friend who now lived in Florida, she asked me to relate the story to her husband once again. I did and she confirmed it was as I had told her 20+ years ago. The day after we saw this object, after school, we gathered several of our closest friends and drove into the cemetary to see what and where we were seeing. The area we were seeing was an area of newly built tombs, without fronts and vacant. We also noted that the size of the tombs compared to the size of the creatures was as we had concluded 31/2 - 4 feet tall. Then we drove to where the craft had been. This was an open grassy area. As we got out and walked this area we noted the grass was flattened completely in a perfect large circle but it was not burned or otherwise damaged. I don't remember if we estimated the diameter of the craft. We told no one else fearing ridicule.

About a month or so after this event, of which there was no mention on the news or radio, I was studying for finals and fell asleep with lights on with a book open. Something woke me up at exactly 3:00 am and I heard a voice calling me to the window. At this time I was living at my parents home and the front of our house including my bedroom faced a large lake. One of my walls was completely glass. I got up and went to the window and looked out. I saw nothing. But again I heard the 'voice', I knew it was not out loud but in my head. The voice was adult male and told me that they were coming to get me to take me 'home'. He said they would be there shortly. I told him, in my head, that I was not going unless Joe and Ida were going too. He said they were coming. I felt strange, like I was responding to an unheard voice in what I did next. I went into my closet and took out a suitcase and started packing. It was like I knew what to pack without thinking about it. Then I wrote a goodbye and thank you letter to my parents telling them I was going "home." In this letter I mention what of my possessions should go to who. Then I sat on the bed to wait. It seemed like a long time went by before I heard the man's voice again. Again he instructed me to come to the window. He told me that plans had changed for now and they couldn't come but that they would be back for me at another time. I went to bed.

The next day after school, I called Ida and asked her if anything unusual had happed last night. She told me that she was awakened by a man's voice telling her he was coming for her and that Joe and I would be there too. She laughed and went back to sleep. Then I called Joe and he related the same thing. Neither Ida nor Joe said they heard a second message about them not coming. When I looked in my suitcase I had the strangest assortment of clothes for all seasons. And I still have the letter I wrote but it is undated.

Several years later, Joe and I were married and we had two kids. One morning I was fixing breakfast and had the radio on. I heard the DJ talking about UFO sightings. He said if anyone had seen a UFO to call him. I did. He listened intently and then told me to be sure and stay tuned because I was in for a surprise. I called Joe so he could come listen too. As the DJ related many sightings in the area. He made direct referenct about the craft coming from the cemetary which had been seen by people in every different direction of the area including people who were on the Interstate when this happened.

*** please note. The witness who posted this report in 2005 on the UfoEvidence website, is my spouse’s cousin, who passed on in 2018. I heard this account directly from her multiple times over the many years I knew her well. Like many individuals having a ‘close encounter’ experience, she also told of numerous other high strangeness events throughout her life. This particular sighting is of significance to me, as there was a second witness, as well as the report of other sightings in the area in this time frame a location. I hope that by posting this here, it will encourage others who may have recollections during this time frame to also consider posting these valuable, first-person historical records, during a time of unprecedented UFO sightings and close encounters during the 60’s and 70’s!

I was still less than one years old when my father and mother took me out for my first Halloween.

While we were out (I was being carried by my mother) my mother and father (and I suppose myself) saw over 20 glowing oval shapes flying over the area where we were. I was told this much later by my parents and of course I have no memory myself about the event.
