UFO over Barksdale…

Me and my wife were leaving for a late night dinner, as we pulled out of the driveway (I am the passenger) I glance over my house and see a really bright light that looks like it’s being trailed by several other lights… I immediately asked my wife to put the car in reverse at this point because I could no longer see it. She reversed and stopped back in front of our house and there it was. Right behind our house. There are a lot of trees in our neighborhood, so you couldn’t see the whole thing just the center of it (edges are hidden by trees) at the time I thought it was a trail, however it was a round object. It was going in a rotation, it had lights on it and they seemed to get brighter as right in the same location every time it made a full rotation.

This is near an Air Force base, but at 10:08 at night you wouldn’t think they would be testing things out that late at night without a warning to people who live within a mile range.

Me, my wife and my neighbor witnessed the event.

bright white light traveling fast

i whent outside on 12/31 around 8:50pm to whatch the fireworks that where popping around at that time, i noticed to my right a bright light moving from east to west which at first i thought was fireworks but it never went down seemed to be in a straight line headed west. thought it was a plane but i never heard any noise and it was traveling way to fast!! also light was brighter than any plane i had ever saw (bright white). after about a minute i pulled my cell phone out to take a video of it when i looked up its like it had turned to the north headed away from me. i took a video of that for several minutes and it was changing colors at that time like it was different , maybe because it was headed away from me ? ,then it just disappeared. I have lived hear for over 13 years and i have seen shooting stars and all kinds of planes from the air-force base but honestly this i have never seen. i don't think it was a plane cause i never heard any noise maybe a! meteor or something i don't know?

orange orbs spotted

the light appeared in the western sky at first when first saw it, the light looked like a plane coming toward me on fire. when it got closer i could see it was like an orange looking orb very bright it the proceeded to turn northwest and got very dim like a small red light.

at that point another one appeared in the same location it did the same thing. then a 3rd light. at the closest point the light was the size of a quarter in the sky. i was in a grocery store parking lot my daughter and a man and his children saw it as well. it was very odd and i have never seen anything like it before.

it made no noise and had no smoke or anything coming from it.

i live right by a air force base but the lights were in the opposite direction as the base. i have seen fireballs, shooting stars, meteorites, nothing compared to this. very slow moving each one took about 5 minutes to due its course.

Aerial orange/red light

UFO Sighting in Bossier City, Louisiana on June 23rd 2013 - Aerial multiple-lights At 2100I was standing outside with my wife looking at the supermoon rising in the east, when I saw an unusual orange-reddish light due NW that brighter than any stars or antenna masts markers in the sky. It was slightly moving N-NW , then stopped for about 45sec, then traveled SE, then changed direction instantly moving NNW again, it was at an unknown distance, but no more than a mile or two away at a 45 degree angle. It’s orange red color was steady for about 3 minutes while traveling NNW, then became a little dimmer as it changed direction south, then dimmed and resembled a star for a minute and was stationary, then became even brighter and began traveling NNW again. But not as fast as it was originally for about 2 minutes. The light then dimmed and resembled a star for about 3 minutes, then disappeared entirely. My home is directly above the landing path for Barksdale AFB, and being prior military and having B-52s and all kinds of other planes flying and approaching at all times of the day and night I a certain this was not a plane or jet. There is no jet engine or strobe light in the world that can put out the light we saw, or move and hover like this.

My wife and I had our suspicions about the UFO, but on my way to work the next morning the local radio station KVKI DJ was talking all morning abouta UFO that approached Barksdale AFB airspace, the tower hailed it 3 times to no avail and dispatched fighters. Who knows what they saw, but this area, particularly the AFB has had numerous sightings over the past few years & with the base housing half of our nuclear bombs & missiles, why not come check it out?

I have seen some weird things in my life in thesky as I work outside in remote locations, but nothing like this before. (via mufon.com)

about 40 lights moving in a southward position, some moved in a 90 degree angle. One was a triangular shape. It was cloudy, but in a break in the clouds gave us vision to the lights. my wife and I and another couple saw it. I am a history buff, and I do not know of any craft that can turn like they did.

Very loud, noisy craft, intense orange-red color, goes over my house in early a.m.

Was having a fitful night of sleeping and was awakened to a very loud roaring sound. I could hear the sound coming from a very great distance and kept listening.

I soon realized that the sound was way too loud and taking way too long to advance over my area/house. It was so loud, the rumbling/roaring seemed to be re-verberating...could swear I could "feel" vibration of the house/ground relevant to the approaching noise.

By the time I decided to get up and go from the one end of the house to the other, where the back door/deck was located, for the best view of the sky, I was able to just get a good glimpse of whatever it was going over the tall trees in our woods, on a Northeasterly heading. It was a very intense, bright orange-red color and about the size of a dime held at arms length...though more oval in shape.

I could hear the craft for about 30 seconds more or so, as it was leaving the area.

The noise was most unusual and disconcerting. The woods animals reacted vigorously with howls and screeches and such. Some dogs reacted as well, with barking.

Feeling very unsettled now since the incident/sighting.

It was dark and round with lights, then changed into a rectangular form with lights.

My friend and I were on our way to her house when we noticed this object floating over us. At first we thought it was a plane, but it wasn't making any noise and it wasn't moving. We kept on driving and it started following us. The object got really low beside some houses on my friend's side. She could see it really close by her window. She said that to her it looked like a circular object. What i saw, it did look like a circular object. Then it moved onto my side where I was driving. Then it seemed to have changed shape as it flew ahead of me over to my side. It then started to look like a rectangle that had two wings that looked like two block ends. There were no nose or tail on the object. The lights were not blinking, but they were solid and motionless. I turned to my friend to ask her to look at it and when she did it started flying toward a field at the end of the street. It flew into the field and started moving like it was bouncing up and down. While we were sitting in her driveway, it was still there. When we walked onto her front porch, thats when they dissapeared. We then saw them again later that night, looking out of the window by her bed.

Bright blue/white light flies silently across evening sky.

I was sitting in my backyard swing when I noticed a bright blue/white light flying across the sky from the north. The light appeared to be at low level, I would estimate not higher that 5000 feet. The light flew slowly across the sky in a straight line until it was almost due east of my position then it turned at about a 45 degree heading toward the southeast. There was no sound, which I thought odd because of the low altitude. The object was the same blue/white color as a mercury vapor street lamp with no apparent red or green navigation lights and no strobe. A few minutes after the object had disappeared behind the tree line, a commercial aircraft flew over at an estimated altitude of 30,000 feet and it's engines were clearly audible. I'm a retired aircraft mechanic with 20 years service in the Air Force and I am quite familiar with most of the aircraft that frequent Barksdale AFB and the Shreveport airport. This is a first for me. I don't know what it was.

3 Bright oval objects observed by at least 4 witnesses in NW Louisiana.

Riding home to S. Bossier, Husband and I noticed 3 very bright oval lights in "stair-step" formation, each one a slight distance above the other and were stationary at the time. The light from these 3 objects was very bright white and slightly pulsating. We passed a young man out on the main road in front of his house observing these objects as well and pointing. A truck on a side street nearby pulled over. We pulled over farther down the road to observe. The objects were about the size of a green pea held at arms length. No sound evident at all. We watched these 3 objects for about 10 minutes when 2 seemed to "blink out" and disapppear. We started our truck and headed for home and the 3rd object passed directly over us at a very low rate of speed, N. Easterly heading, no sound, bright white oval shape but upon close observation, could see band of red/green lights around center of object. A second object appeared and seemed to be a companion but was higher in altitude and appeared to be a triangle shape with white, blue, and green lights. The oval object may have been around 3,000 feet in altitude...hard to discern at night. No sound from either objects. ((name deleted))

Two low altitude, large, slow moving craft, cigar shaped, odd light configuration and sounds.

Heard tremendous roaring sound, making house vibrate, went outside on deck saw 2 large, low altitude craft, (about 2,000 ft. or less), strange lighting configuration, very brite red lights in "center of both craft, and brite white lights on front and back. Clear night, good visual...no wing lights or small tail lights at all, just lights spanning the length of both craft! No green lite or other lites that FAA requires. Outstanding features to this sighting, craft extremely noisey, rumbling and roaring, to the point, I feared a crash was about to occur! Duration of sighting....were in view for too long to be conventional jets, judging by their size and altitude. Being so low and large, it was hard for me to comprehend how they could stay airborne. May have been more then 2, but when I went outside, 2 evident.Both about size of b-52's...how their size would appear at night, but not jets like those, much to low and slow! 8:45 p.m. Dec.1,2001 Good weather, visibility.

black,triangle craft flying over air force installation observed with no response.

object appeared to be a flat black triangle approx. 100 meters long by 50 meters wide at the widest point. only one of the craft were observed it was seen movingsouth east to north west against a clear starlit sky while i was swimming in our pool. the craft only had one light on the bottom of it. this light was a light blue in color which is what got my attention. also the fact that it had flown directly over a major air force base and seemingly elicited no response was strange.

I was standing outside to smoke just before David Letterman tonight. I always smoke outside, never inside; but, I do not ever expect to see anything strange. Barksdale Air Force Base is about three miles south of my house. Generally, aircraft are flying about here quite frequently. At 10:28 p.m. there were no planes, and I was thinking only of the show about to start.

I was facing directly East. There are some street lights in backyards which illuminate trees and yards that surround my yard. Suddenly to my left, North, I noticed something entering from behind me into my field of vision. I turned my head to the left, North, to see something about four times the size of an eagle in flight. It was light or off-white colored. The shape was that of a large bird or boomerang. Immediately, I thought, it's not a bird, maybe a big kite. Although there was no wind, and it was travelling about the same height as the Blue Angels were a week and a half ago when they frequently flew over this same backyard preparing for their two day air show at Barksdale.

My mind quickly returned to the idea of it being a bird, but it was way too big to be a bird. And, I wanted to see wings flap. Rather, it just soared without any flapping. At that time, I started to panic and think UFO because I realized there were absolutely no lights, or sounds associated with it. I lost vision of it because of a tree line. Although, after losing sight of it, I did move around in the yard hoping I could spot it, then became fearful and ran inside to tell my son. It was 10:30 when I was back inside.

I saw a light colored boomerang shape soaring across my backyard at 10:28 p.m. on April 28, 2000. It was completely silent and perhaps 200 feet above me. There are street lights inside two neighboring yards which illuminated it. When it first came into my field of vision I was facing East, and saw something approaching from behind me which was West, and to my left, or North. It seemed at first to be the size of a huge bird, perhaps four times the size of an Eagle's wingspread. But, there was no sound of wings flapping. And, there was only the movement of it travelling straight across from West to East soaring, not flapping wings. That's when I relized that it was not a bird. Of course, when I had initially thought of it perhaps being a bird, I also was thinking it was the biggest bird I had ever seen. At that time I knew I was losing sight of it because it was approach a tree line which I knew would obscure it from my sight. I quickly moved around the yard to try to catch another sight of it, but did not. I knew that because there were absolutely no lights, nor sound, that it might have been a UFO. I rushed inside to tell my son, and saw that it was then 10:30 p.m. I estimate that I was looking at it soaring past me for about eight seconds, no less than five, and no more than ten seconds. I am about to return to the yard to smoke again, and hope I get to see this once again, but I rather doubt that I will. Silent, no lights, boomerang shape. I only could view the underside of it from my vantage point. Thank you.

I was looking into the bright blue sky wathing a trail from a high speed us aircaft. When I was looking I saw a bright circular item stationary looking towards the the north west sky and I was looking up at about a 65% angle. I saw the bright white object in the sky. It looked like a light from an aircraft pointing straight at you. then the light went out. I could see a faint silver object still staionary. Then it just vanished. No jet trails no flashing lights. I looked al over the sky to relocate it with no luck.

((This is the seventh of several of these experiences, all of which I now feel are connected. If visitors to this site have any questions I'll be glad to answer if I can. If anyone has any further information or explanation on them I'd appreciate a reply. I've copied these experiences from a past journal.))

I went for a drive one evening, down south on highway 71 and about 6 or 7 pm when I was returning, happened to glance off to my right, in the sky and noticed two light-blue colored lights, side by side, heading angle-wise toward the road ('8 oclock'). The distance between the lights, perspective-wise, was less than an inch apart, and didn't blink or flash. Also, what struck my attention had been the color...almost a neon blue. I kept an eye on the because I knew they'd soon pass across the road; however, when they got closer and I could see better what they were attached to, they began to arc south (back toward '6 oclock'). These were particularly curious because I've never seen that color blue before ~ this neon or flourescent blue is as close as I can describe it. I pulled onto the shoulder and stopped, got out and watched. THIS event scared me damn near as bad as the moon-looking orb. The object or craft was a thin rectangle, and the lights were inside either end. It looked like a big 2x4 on its widest side, and perspective-wise, about 3 feet in length if at arm's length. The lights were inside the narrow-most side, like the eyes of a hammerhead shark, only in front, not the side. ___________________________ |_*_____________________*__| Initially I assumed it was a plane but it made no sound at all...literally soundless, and as it went by, there hadn't been any more to it ~ just a simple, black (or possibly dark gray, steel color) rectangle. If it would have been a plane (and this was a low as a low flying plane could fly without dropping out of the sky, and about twice as wide as the wing span of a little charter plane), I could have seen the rivits and seams and bolts, etc. This was solid and looked seamless. It cruised at plane speed. My rationale tried to convince me this was likely some new machine that they're testing out...maybe a remote operated spy plane or something...military jets do a lot of low flying out there in that part of the city (outskirts of Bossier City)...but reality said it was doubtful...this IS Barksdale. I watched it head south at a languid speed until it was no longer visible, and gathered myself, and went home. Later, I mentioned this event to my mother, who related a similar account she'd had with the same sort of object being chased by two military jets, and it shot off out of sight. I also asked an Air Force buddy of mine if they were testing something out there and he said they weren't, it wasn't ours, and several pilots on base were all wired over it because no one knew what it was or where it came from. I found this a little hard to choke down tho, because I would think that it would've been shot out of the sky had it breezed in over an air base. He also said, tho, that we have nothing at Barksdale that could fly that low without making deafening noise, much less crashing.
