UFO seen coming off a Boeing 747 and 2 others before reaching airport

1 Object was attached to the bottom body of a 747 Boeing then began to descend as the aircraft began to approach proximity of military base across the Mississippi river between Baton Rouge and Port Allen as well as parameter near the Baton Rouge airport.The objective continued descending
while maintaining position beneath aircraft. Not descending away from craft rather directly under. Once certain distance from aircraft was reached the object stopped descending and began reversing direction and acceleration occurred moving in the opposite direction away from military and airport perimeter.

2 other anomalies that were above the aircraft became visible. All 3 maintained a triangle formation and trajectory. Then they were not visible but rather like the color of a black hole, then changed formation , changed colors again, and repeat: until they were too far away. I got it on video after descending directly beneath and from Boeing. I thought trash was descending from the plane, when I realized it wasn’t I grabbed my camera. J worked on th NASA Digital twin so and submitted report on future of drones in the military so I knew what to look for. It was not a drone, rather an object I’ve never seen.

While stargazing notice an object moving really fast, 3 lights in the shape of a triangle, one light on each point. not plane

Object was higher than a plane, moving super fast, 3 lights in the shape of a triangle. 2 blinking 1 solid. 3 smaller objects followed closely behind which resembled stars and appeared to be smaller or further away. After following the triangle object for a while, the went in all different directions. These objects would stop moving and then began moving at very fast speeds.

Hello I have been experiencing strange phenomenon since last year. I thought it was spiritual and I even had a paranormal investigation. Lights have followed me for months and I thought it was spirits. I have hours of videos of weird spacecrafts I will release whatever you need. They have now started flying over me while I drive everywhere I go. I am very worried. I have a link I can send with over 100 videos and that isn't even scratching the surface. Please let me know what I should do. The objects are round lights that start small and disguise as stars. when they approach they grow in size. There is 4 or 5 different crafts I have seen. some very large some small like drones. There are two lights that always follow me and I believe they are a ship that is disguised as stars. The crafts in the videos seem round and some seem square and flat.

Long skinny no height crystal glass diamond pattern as long as aircraft carrier ufo floating nosound or lights

Before light stormy clouds in sky looked up to see best described, long skinny no height and looked like crystal glass with diamond pattern on bottom. Watched it float with no sound from right to left across the sky. Went and grabbed phone came back and found it in the sky same trajectory and got a picture with Iphone with option to let most light in and got it. Estimated length in between long blimp to aircraft carrier. Took video but was completly black because it was dark. Second ufo I have seen personally. First was fireball orb flying over four times with six witnesses july 4th 2019.

Line of light moving across the sky

Witnessed a line of circular lights coming across the sky from the direction of Venus heading south. Visible dots of light moving in a perfect line formation. Each dot followed the one before it in a single file, perfectly spaced pattern. They continued to cross the sky in this manner for approximately 5 minutes as we watched. We estimate there were approximately 20 dots of light. At some point a plane was descending at the nearby airport underneath the procession of lights and appeared much lower in the sky in comparison.

I saw a large black object in the sky while driving home from work. I tried to watch it as it hovered, trying to peer and see if it could’ve been a hot air balloon, so I took a picture zoomed in as much as I could so I could look at it when I got home. I didn’t see a basket below the object. I looked up weather balloons, and it didn’t look like that. It moved very slowly and was in the process of descending when I saw it. I was driving east on I-12 in Baton Rouge. I only saw one large roundish black object at 4:54 PM on 01/21/2020.

My girlfriend and I both witnessed an oval object flash three times and fly extremely rapidly into darkness above the EBR library.

Girlfriend and I both arrived at EBR library at Independence. The second I locked the car, we both looked up and saw an oval rapidly flash three times above the main building. Only a second or so after spotting it, the object disappeared into darkness almost instantaneously. It appeared to fly forward and then nothing.

Hovering, long object with bright green lights quickly shot off into another direction at a high speed.

As I exited the interstate at approximately 5:45am on 4/12/18, I noticed a hovering object with a bright (neon) green light (non-flashing). It was above the tree line, but lower than you’d typically see an airplane flying. It slowly started moving and then quickly changed direction and shot off westbound. It took off at a very high speed and either its lights went off, or it “vanished,” because I couldn’t locate it in the sky after it changed direction.

White lights flying in a string very fast and very high due North.

The formation of white lights appeared very much like a flying flock of white birds, only flying much higher and much faster than an airplane. They sort of looked like a string of jellyfish in the sky, flying in a curved/almost v-shape formation. I saw approximately five of these formations fly by over a span of approximately ten minutes, and they were all flying North. It was a fairly clear night.

I was smoking a cig, I’m alwys staring at the night sky, I’ve seen a few strange things. This was easily the most outrageous thing I’ve ever seen or imagined I would ever see. From my left to my right moved a very fast, silent, actual spaceship. It looked like straight out of Star Trek, Independence Day, or predator. It appeared to be a brownish color, had a few dim bluish lights. No sound! No exhaust, it was gliding, no propeller system. Definitely not not not a drone. It was huge. Very clear and quiet sky. It was straight out of the movies. Moving very fast, fairly low. I never thought I would be able to say I saw this, but it’s true. I literally saw an alien spaceship fly directly over me and I was looking directly at it. There is no other explanation. My first thought was comparing it to the likes of a mechanical dragon.

It was around 6:20 PM in the evening. I was outside with my parents and we were loading a washing machine for a family member. I looked up and saw one bright light. The light was brighter than the stars. It cycled between white, blue, and red.

At first, I thought it was a helicopter, but I looked closer and it was cigar shaped. Then, following directly behind it was another craft, that was bright white. Then, once the clouds cleared, there was at least ten craft in a diamond formation.

The white craft was the front point of the diamond. The other craft were pale blue in the formation. I got to look at them for at least 15 seconds, but then clouds covered them up.

The first craft I saw was bigger than the rest, because I could see its shape. Its light was also brighter than the ! other craft. It could possibly be a mothership.

4 disks with red glow seen over LSU going due west on 12/17 at 7:30

At 7:30 pm on the 17th, I was in the back yard of my home just outside of the LSU campus. I looked straight up, and rite away, saw 4 circle disks in formation moving due west. They had an orange red glow that was faint and covered each disk entirely. If you drew a circle around the formation, it was aprox. the size of the moon.

As they moved, the formation changed with 2 crossing over to the other side of the other 2. There was plenty of normal air traffic in the distance, all with typical blinking lights. These did not blink. The low glow to them came from the entire disk looking almost organic. They were smooth moving and made no sound. Fading out a minute later again heading due west over the Mississippi river.

I got my binoculars and watched it change shapes and seemed to have lots of lights. It would change from a circle to a serpent type shape. I watched & watched but I was getting sleepy. I was telling myself it was a satellite.

I just went to balcony again tonight 10-5-15 and stars are out in the sky, but that UFO is GONE !!!!

There was no sound or trail, just the glowing orb.

I saw numerous slow moving white lights. I flashed my led light at one and it just stopped instantly. I have Dr. Greer's contact app so I started playing some of the tones on the app and then saw numerous more of the same types of lights coming from different directions. 2 of them even crisscrossed each other's path.

The lights were not blinking on them except for the last craft I saw. It didn't flicker like a light on a plane either, it just seemed to get brighter then slowly dim.

Needless to say, I was pretty blown away by all of this.

I was driving home from work and saw something in the sky at first I thought it was a plane and when I got closer the red lights were in the shape of a triangle with green and blue blinking lights. At some point, the red lights which were on the outside if the triangle would disappear and the blue lights which were in the middle were visible then you would see the green, then the red would appear again with the blue and then green.

Not sure what it was but is was dark and it was high enough in the sky I couldn't tell.

Multiple orange lights on 17th, one blue/purple on 16th, Baton Rouge, Highland/Jefferson.

I was at a friend's on January 16th. He had been trying to tell me about these lights in the sky around his home. They appear consistently every night. I never paid attention. He called me outside, and I had my first experience with this when I saw a light that was approximately 4-5 hundred yards away.

It hovered, floated and was neon purple and blue. Almost like a firework in its brightness. It was absolutely silent. It changed from purple to blue. It rose up in the air above the treeline and went left about 200 yards. The, went back right. It then hovered for a while and sank below the trees. We have video of this.

The next night I was home but he called me to tell me there were up to 20 orange ones, some in formation and some not. They were going into formation, then breaking away. Some were going in circles. They appear out of the middle of the sky and disappear the same way. This is a common occurence for them.

I did an Internet search and several, several people saw the same thing. I am attaching video of what he saw on the 17th. It is very impressive.

My question as a skeptic is why in this world, are we not trying to explain and find out with government resources what these things are?

And on a side note-I went to Thailand personally and saw with my own eyes Chinese lanterns. They are not the size of small cars. And they do not move like planes.

And they are easily followed with the eyes, as they rise from the earth where they are let go. And Chinese lanterns are illegal in Louisiana.

Could someone please explain this?

At least 20 bright orange/gold lights moving across the sky in Baton Rouge.

As I was driving down Airline Highway in Baton Rouge at about 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 20th, I saw several orange/gold lights up in the sky to my left. Then I noticed there were many of these lights. They were not blinking. Once in a while, they would appear to twinkle.

Since I was driving, I couldn't tell if they were moving or not, so I pulled into a parking lot to watch. The lights were moving, all to the northeast. As I watched, more lights appeared from out of the southwest, and moved in the same direction as the other lights.

These lights were larger than the size of the planet Venus when it can be seen shining brightly in the sky--probably three times the size.

Once they moved past me, I would lose sight of them, but more and more kept coming. A plane or helicopter with flashing lights appeared and seemed to be going in a wide circle in the area.

After about 10 minutes, no more lights came out of the southwest.

I don't know exactly how many lights I had seen, but at least 20.

I have no idea what these were, and I have not seen any news reports locally about these strange very bright orange/gold lights.

A stationary, upright cigar shaped object with multiple lights flashing in quick succession.

120 degrees SE of 30°20'34" N 91°7'60" W A tall, stationary, upright cigar shaped object that had multiple flashing lights that flashed at quick intervals. I could not make out a shape, but the object did not seem to move at all and I couldn't find anything on my star viewer app that corresponded to the location of the unidentified object.

I just looked on http://www.radarbox24.com/ to see if there are any current flights in that direction according to the FAA, but the nearest flights are JBU775, between Slidell, LA, and New Orleans, and a BLOCKED flight from Santa Monica coded C25B, which is currently E by SE of Lafayette, LA. Neither planes are within the visual field where I spotted the UFO.

I made a short video of the object with a point and shoot camera, but the focus was poor.

On the night of July 22, 2014, I was returning home from my night class from my local university which is only about 3 miles from my house. I was backing my pickup truck up the drive way and while backing up, I could hear a helicopter get louder as if it was approaching my house.

I parked the truck and glanced at the clock on the dash noticed it was 9:20 pm. I stepped out of the pickup and turned to see why the helicopter was so close or low flying. It was coming from the northwest proceeding to the southeast.

To my astonishment, two large pewter gray colored craft where flying in front of the helicopter in a tight formation, one staggered to the left rear of the front pewter craft.

These objects were approximately 60 to 70 feet across in diameter, about 10 to 12 foot thick in the centers, the outer edges of the craft were similar to the edge of a coin like a nickel, smooth with no markings. I would estimate the sides would be about 2 to 3 foot on the vertical measurement. The craft made no noise whatsoever, had no markings, no windows of any type, no lights.

The two craft were in very tight formation. The helicopter was all black, had no markings on the fuselage but was an Apache Helicopter. This I know for sure, being that I am a USAF veteran and have worked on a flight line with military aircraft in my past.

The helicopter was about 200 yards behind the two craft, following the two objects but not trying to gain speed or overtake the objects, almost as it was tagging the objects. The two objects remained very close to one another, about 20 to 30 yards apart, one behind the other.

The formation including the helicopter flew about 200 feet off the ground, very close to the tree line, the two disk flew in a straight line and maintained the tight formation.

The entire clear viewing window that I had was about 20 seconds, before the formation flew behind the tree line that is behind my house. I had a clear view of the objects from the start to finish. The light in the sky was good being that it was in the city and over a strongly lit neighborhood. I was about 130 yards away from the flight path of the formation.

Right before the helicopter went behind the tree line my wife was coming out of the house and commented to me, “What in the world is all the noise from?" Before I could answer her, the helicopter along with the craft went behind the tree line behind the house and proceeded in a direction that took the formation away from us.

The best description I can give of the craft was that if you were to hold a 3 inch sugar cookie at arm’s length at about 30 degrees up and tilt it slightly that would give a good reference to the size and how I was able to see the bottom and shape, I was able to observe the craft for the full period of viewing, the disk shaped craft made no noise, very smooth, no lights, no markings, no appendages, just very smooth, pewter gray in color.

I came in and made a detailed drawing of the craft and event to make sure I remembered every detail.

Being ex-military and having worked with aircraft, I know what I saw was a real event.

Here is a written report by me of the event on the 22nd.
that occurred with my husband and the objects and the helicopter.

Secondary witness to the event in Baton Rouge Louisiana; July 22, 2014.

My husband who attends night classes at a local college called to let me know he was on his way home when he left his school. He does this so I can put the dogs up in the house and open the gate in the driveway so he can back in with his pickup truck. It only takes about 5 to 10 minutes for the drive home from the school.

After I had gone outside and opened the gate, I went back inside the house to wait for my husband to drive in. It was just a few minutes, maybe 5 minutes or so, when I started to hear a noise outside. The noise continued to increase to the point that it was loud and had me concerned.

I knew it was the sound of a helicopter and I thought it must be flying very low over the house so I went out to see why the noise had gotten so loud. By this point it sounded like it was right over the back of the yard at our house and I was very concerned of what was going on.

I went out the back door and started walking out under our carport to investigate the noise. I saw my husband had already backed up the driveway in his truck and was standing by the driver side rear wheels staring over the back of the property pointing and saying something out loud to me. I could not hear what he was saying because of the noise of the helicopter.

I walked rather quickly out from under the carport to see what he was pointing at and I saw a black helicopter go behind the tree line very close to the top of the trees behind our house.

My husband seemed to be in shock at what he saw and kept asking me if I saw the other objects. I did not, being that I was walking from the backdoor through the carport which is covered and it took a bit to walk from the back door out into our driveway where I could get a good view. I did manage to see the helicopter.

My husband came inside with me visibly upset by something he had seen and began explaining it to me and drawing down his sighting. I know my husband well enough to know that if he saw something like this he would not say so without it being a real event.

This is what I witnessed that night.

Very low and slow moving bright, blurry light spotted during a very close encounter

My sighting happened on September 26, 2013. I work the early morning shift for a local news station. I decided to go on a smoke break right around 3:00 AM. I exited out the back door. The only thing in the back is grass and woods. I have seen small and distant sightings before but nothing like this.

As I’m smoking my cigarette, I looked to my right and as soon as I turned my head, I saw a bright, shiny light coming around the corner of the office building. I also noticed an orange light inside of the bright light. The bright light appeared to be extremely blurry and moving at a very slow speed. It is very hard to explain and to put into words. The shininess of the light almost made it appear as if it was floating water or a jelly-like substance. It was extremely low to the ground and got as close as thirty feet from me before shooting up. The object didn’t shoot up much higher than it already was, but it was high enough to have to look up at the object. It then began moving West before disappearing.

During this time, I am also tried to take my cell phone out to take try to record the object. I opened my camera and switched to video mode. The grid appeared on my screen and the object was in clear sight on my phone. However, as I’m trying to press the “record” button, it will not record. I pressed it several times trying to get it to record until it disappeared.

Once I lost sight of the object, I thought that it had disappeared. All of a sudden, the light zooms back at a much faster pace right above me before heading northwest. All of my previous sightings have never been reported. I would see them and keep them to myself. This sighting was much different. When I saw the light, there was a huge and unexplainable rush of excitement that overtook my body.

I walked back into the office almost in a trance-like state. I went straight to my computer and noticed that it was 3:30 AM. A whole thirty minutes had gone by. Smoke breaks are only five minutes and ten minutes at max. I used the Internet to find the number and called the local Baton Rouge Air Patrol. A lady answered the phone and informed me that the tower in my city closes at 11:00 PM. She went on to ask more questions and was very intrigued with the details. She also mentioned that there were multiple sightings within the month that had been called into Air Patrol but nothing like mine; in regards to how close it all happened. This sighting was as real as it gets and I will never be the same because of it. It left me completely speechless.

Round white orbs seen over LSU

I was driving on I-10 heading to Gonzales to visit my children when I saw the orbs over the LSU lakes, facing the campus.

I couldn't stop because of the traffic behind me. The orbs where perfectly round and not moving. They were staggered and in a formation. They were bright white and not blinking.

That same night, at around 23:00, I went back the same way to see if they were still there, or to see if maybe I could debunk what I saw, but they were gone. There was nothing that came close to resembling what I had seen.

Is there anyone out there that witnessed what I saw. It's been over a year and I'm still puzzled.

Of note, a college football game (lsu vs south carolina) is going on, 5 miles away, with the stadium lighing the night sky. There is a blimp above the stadium. Unknown round object followed by two jets over Baton Rouge flying northwest at approx 11:00 AM

Near midday, blue sky with scattered clouds. Single round shiny object with contrail traveling northwest. Did not observe any lights or erratic behavior. Object maintained steady course and speed.

The object was followed by two jets. The object was slightly wider than the fuselage of the jets.

The jets did not leave contrails. The jets trailed the object flying in formation. The second jet flew to the right rear of the lead jet. The jets were not fighters and appeared to be larger. Possibly the size of large corporate jet.

The distance between the first jet and second jet was approx the length of three of the aircraft.

The first jet accelerated and caught up with the object. The second jet remained behind the object and never adjusted speed.

The first jet passed the object then decelerated to its original speed. Clouds briefly obscured the three but they quickly reappeared maintaining the same heading. All three eventually flew out of sight.

I tried to take a picture with my camera phone but have not downloaded the photo and a review the photo on the phone is difficult.

My co-worker and I are both former military. I have flown on a variety of military aircraft in the army and my co-worker was in the navy. He remarked that the round object displayed no wings or characteristics of known aircraft.

Low altitude square cloud with vapor trail photo’d in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

While driving pass the Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge I witnessed a square object in the sky that looked like a perfectly square cloud.

I slowed and shot a photo from my driver’s window. The square was distorted some in the photo probably due to the brightness. It appeared as though there was a light puffy cloud trail behind the square.

I continued to drive on and the object was stationary in a perfectly clear sky.

I NEVER THOUGHT IN MY LIFE TIME I WOULD LIVE TO SEE ANYTHING LIKE THAT. I WAS SKEPTICAL BUT NOT ANYMORE...

I Was driving my car on my way to grab a bite to eat.

At approximately 20:55 i noticed a strange looking object in the sky. I immediately slowed down so i can could get a better view of the object.

At first i thought it was an airplane but it dawned on me, the airport is no where near the location i was at. I couldn't get a clear view on the drivers side of my car; so i opened the top on my sunroof to get a better view.

When i did the object went from 100 feet west ward (from the drivers side) to 75 feet north; directly above my head, tilted at a 90 degree angle. The view from my sun roof was crystal clear.

It was a block like disk/saucer. It had a kaleidoscope of different colors with in each square surrounding the circumference of the craft. The colors where white, blue, yellow, red and green, it blinked off and on.

There was a tower in the back ground; the lights on the tower stopped blinking when the craft was near. I stopped my car in front of an apart! ment complex, got out, and before i could take a picture it disappeared.

On my way back home i went down the same street and noticed the lights from the tower where once again operational.

Stranges Lights Around Baton Rouge River Center 12/11/09

I was headed toward downtown Baton Rouge Friday Night about 6:20 pm... A very dark rainy night. I saw 3 lights in a straight line, red on both ends and white in the middle, the red lights blinked in an alternating pattern. In a straight line the lights moved from horizontal to vertical. Top red middle white bottom red. Lights were much higher in the sky than radio/cell phone towers. These lights seem to be too stationary to be an Air Plane. There was also another stationary white light, possibly a helicopter. Closer to the ground, but far away from the other lights. The singular white light moved under the three other lights, still much closer to the grown. Once the white light lined up under the three lights, they turn into one non blinking red light, and quickly goes into the distance.

I was turning left in my car and lost sight of the sighting. I immediately turned my car around in order to track what was going on. Once visible again, it seemed the objects fell rapidly but quickly aligned. However, at some point the lights quickly disappeared with one moving quickly to the West. Don’t believe in UFO’s. A V shaped object with 5-6 "lights" running on either side and a solid mass in the middle flying over Baton Rouge on September 6, 2008.

I was staying with my friend’s house in Baton Rouge, because they were lucky enough to have their electricity restored after hurricane Gustav. I was standing out front of my friends house, for a smoke break, around 10:00 p.m. or 10:30 p.m. (I am not sure of the exact time). It was a very quiet night due to the fact that after hurricane Gustav most of the city doesn’t have power and also we had a curfew that no one should be driving or out cruising starting at 8:00 p.m. The only sound you could hear were the sounds of generators in use. So, the sky was clear, stars visible, but dark, that eerie dark without the glow of street lights and house lights.

I was looking up when I noticed out in the distance what looked like a flock of white birds, in a V formation heading my direction. It caught my attention for how white the birds were. But as they were flying overhead to where I got a better look, I realized they were not birds but rather something I don’t know how to explain. It was a V formation but it was, not necessarily lights spread apart but more like a reflective surface? If it were lights they would just have to be very dim I suppose. Not anything so bright that would have made it stand out in the dark sky. It was probably 1000 ft up, but honestly I could not gauge the distance because I was still trying to figure out what it was I was looking at. Also, noticed that it was a solid mass between the "lights."

It moved at a good pace and made absolutely no sound. After it flew over me and crossed over the neighbor’s house it was gone. I don’t know what I saw but I know it wasn’t an airplane or a helicopter.

I do not wish to speak to anyone or have my name or information published. I am curious to know if there were any stealth bombers flying over but wish to remain anonymous. I am not crazy and not on drugs, just wanted to pass this information on in case it is useful or important to your research. And am hoping I am not the only person to have seen something strange over the skies of Baton Rouge that night.

While traveling in my automobile west bound on Interstate I-12 just before the I-12 ,I-10 split in Downtown Baton Rouge at 8:30 PM I noticed a bright object in the night sky. The object at first appeared stationary at an altitude of approximately 4000 feet. Then the object began dropping flare like objects that were falling directly towards the ground. It appeared as if it were an object that was on fire and breaking apart. Similar to an aircraft and/or a spacecraft re-entering the Earth's atmosphere. However, the object began changing directions moving at a slow speed. Then object then developed a comet like tail but much shorter in length than a normal comet. The object resembled a fireball but it never appeared to lose altitude. It remained at the same height and speed. The object flew directly towards the West approaching the Mississippi River and then turned to a Southerly direction. It would make very sharp turns, in fact, the turning radius was such that the object appeared to almost cross paths with it's on fiery tail.

The object would drop flare like objects intermittently similar to a military aircraft dispersing flares. Again having the appearance of an object on fire and breaking apart but the object continued flying at the apparent same speed and altitude. It made several complete circles and then reversed it's original course of due west and began traveling back toward my direction at an Easterly heading. The object had no visible navigation lights. No blinking lights or anything indicating that it were any form of a known aircraft. The fireball object continued in the Easterly direction directly over the city of Baton Rouge and then slowly headed South until it disappeared over the horizon.

The object was clearly visible to anyone in Baton Rouge looking up. I noticed that other vehicles traveling on I-12 were reducing their speed as I was perhaps because they were gazing at the object. I had my cell phone with me and attempted to take a picture but was afraid of being involved in an accident.

For the record: This is my fourth experience at witnessing something very unusual in the night sky. The other incidents were the typical bright objects traveling at a huge rate of speed and then sharply changing directions. However, this recent incident is different. I'm very skeptical of it being any "U.F.O." because of the flare like objects dropping from it. But it confuses me as the how the object appeared to remain intact, never losing altitude or speed and flying off into the horizon.

Bright white oval of light moving slowly towards ground

I was driving west on a main surface street in Baton Rouge when I noticed a large oval of extremely bright white light in the sky to the west of my location. My initial thought was it was on a tower, but I realized there are no tall radio towers in the area where this light was. Besides which, I make this trip several evenings a week and had never seen the light.

My next realization was that it was moving, very slowly, appearing to move from west to east (towards me) and coming closer to the ground. The light appeared to be about 2-3 miles distant, but this is just a guess. It was not landing lights on an aircraft-I have lived by airports before and am familiar with these. Plus the light was much larger than landing lights would be, and the airport is in a different direction.

As I drew closer, I started thinking that perhaps it was a series of large bright lights, as opposed to 1 large oval light. I thought it might be a helicopter, but the light(s) was too wide to be on a helicopter.

By this point I had been watching the light(s) as I drove for approximately 5 minutes. The light(s) was getting lower and lower. There was nowhere on its line of decent for a helicopter to land, so if it was a helicopter of some sort, I don't know what it was doing. Of course, I don't know what a UFO would be doing landing in a residential section of Baton Rouge, either.

At this point I had to make a turn in order to reach my destination, and as I was already late to pick up my daughter, I chose to make the turn and lose sight of the light(s). When we returned to that road about 5 minutes later, the light was gone.

As I said before, I have lived near airports before--both military and civilian--and did not recognize the shape of the light(s).

I was more than a little bit spooked.

The road I was on was not crowded at this time of the evening, but it was by no means empty.

Other people had to have seen the light(s) too.

Flaming Ball over Baton Rouge

Correction: I previously reported it to be on August 4th but it was August 11th.

On August 11th around 8:30 PM myself and 3 others were in my car on the corner of Monterrey Blvd and Greenwell Springs Road in Baton Rouge, Louisiana when we saw a huge flaming mass traveling south over Baton Rouge. From our vantage point it appeared to be above the Siegen Lane area however it was most likely over the Gulf.

The mass was over the size of several airplanes in my opinion. While we were observing, it broke into 4 separate pieces that appeared to be the size of an airplane.

Now to put some size reference on what I mean by "the size of an airplane", when you look up into the sky and see a jet flying overhead at the highest point you have seen one, then you understand what I mean by "the size of an airplane".

Unfortunately we did not think to whip out our cell phones and take a picture, we were in awe of what we were seeing. I have yet to see anything on this in the news. We did not see any other streaks across the sky that may have given us the thought that it was just a meteor shower.

while watching live football game, an allumminum sigar shaped object appeared above the clouds, I took picture.

After a storm, while on the bleechers watching a football game, we noticed a bright long light above some clouds. Because it was so far away it would be too large and too long to be a "Blimp". It wouldn't move so it couldn't be a plane...so I took some pictures with my digital camera. Then it just dissapeared.

When I got home, I enlarged the immage and it is clearly a cigar shaped allumminum looking thing.

it was about 1:15 in the morning and me and my friends were about to go to sleep whenever my dad came told us to come outside because he had something he wanted us to look at. he sat us down and let us look through binoculars at this circular object that seemed to be stationary in the sky. it had distinct features such as red, orange, blue, and yellow lights around it. it was moving very fast in short motions right then left then up a little and then would become stationary again. it looked really close. we were stayin at our camp out on the amite river right by lake marapaus in east ascension parish right by I40. there were many sightings there and we didnt know what it was. around 6 o'clock we went outside and it was still there. right before the sun came up it looked like there were a white light in the middle of the craft and then just shot up into the sky so fast you could barely see it. there were at least 3 of them but the one that stood out the most was extremely close and it seemed to be the biggest of them.

I was in Louisiana on a business trip. Looking up to check the weather/cloud coverage I noticed an odd shape just floating through the sky. I kept staring at it because it was round and pink/orange colored and it just seemed so out of place. I asked my boyfriend if he saw it too but he was standing about 5 feet higher than I was (on the back of a moving truck) so before he could follow my pointing finger it dissapeared in the clouds.It didn't blink/flash and was not anything I have ever seen in the night sky before.

Before it vaished in the clouds it seemed to leave a little trail of sparks.

It looked very much like the image on the home page, but I wouldn't discribe it as a fireball, because it kept changing colors.(pink/orange) Did anyone else see this thing???

bright lights appear suddenly at high altitude during a clear day ,make formation and disappear

It was near lunch time at our job site, we were building a house in a busy neighborhood. The weather was clear and cool, around 70 degrees. As I rounded the corner to the front of the homes'exterior, I handed some material to a co-worker whom was overhead on a scaffolding. I noticed 3 faintly visible colors in the sky. They were red, yellow and blue, respectively. The sat motionless in the sky, a fair distance apart from one another in no particular formation. Then as I started to point out the objects to the rest of the co-workers, 4 additional objects appeared from my right. They were also very high up and varied in color, 2 yellow, a red, and a white, respectively.They approached the original 3 crafts slowly, where they made an enclosed, triangled formation briefly. Then they broke apart and slowly disappeared into the blue abyss of the sky, some moving outward and disappearing while the others plainly just disappeared. One co-worker thought they may have been high altitude skydivers at first, but they never did descend and when they disappeared, he was left completely astounded.

the craft was tringular in shape and there was lights allover the craft, A strobe light would dicribe it better. the craft was moving in a northern direction. the craft would stop and huver for about a minute and take off at a slow speed.(2) i saw a ball of light come from the sky and stop about mittleways a telegram post and stop. after siting about one or two minutes the object flashed like a flash bulb and was gone.(3) Riding on an icolated stretch of River Road, i saw a tower burst into light, there is no light on this tower, so much light i could see through the brick wall, i know that sounds impossible butthat is the trooth.(4) a wall of light greeted me while driving on river road,(5)Driving on river road i ran into a storm, this storm came up out of nowhere, there was a person that was nothing but a shadow riding on a buysickle in the storm, i shined my lights on the person or what ever and all i saw was a shadow. i turned around and went back to make shore i saw what i saw, i was correct there he was .nd i kept going and didnot go back.

3 "blinking" objects traveled at different times from the same side across the sky fairly fast.

I was taking out the trash for my mom and coming back in when i saw a "blinking" light going pretty fast through the sky. I thought it might be a jet so I kept walking. Right before I went in I started to think a second and realized I heard no jet sound. So i watched it go through the sky as I walked down the street following it, trying to listen for a sound. I couldn't hear any. I got a little freaked out, but thought my imagination was getting the best of me so I started walking back home. On the way I saw another one coming the same direction from the same side {right side facing down my driveway). I thought maybe the craft had spun around so I looked back and in the distance I saw the other one I had previously seen. So I stopped and watched it also. It also flew fairly fast, and faster than any helicopter or commercial plane I had seen. Again I listened, but I still heard no sound. I stood and watched the two crafts go off onto the horizon. That happened within 2 minutes. I stood in awe wondering what I had seen for about 30 seconds when I saw another "blinking" light go through the sky from the same direction on the left side of me. It was going a bit faster then the other 2 and I watched and listened as carefully as I could as it also traveled to the horizon. It crossed the whole sky in about 15-25 seconds. I stood there for about 5 minutes after, watching for any other objects but didnt see any. I coudn't tell the shape of it at all. All I saw was a "blinking" light. By blinking I mean, I saw a white light flash at different times. It definitely didn't look like an actual light blinking. It looked more like the objects were spinning and a piece of the object was shiny or a metal of somthing that reflects light. It looked as if that piece of the object was reflecting a light source from which I could not tell. The moon wasn't out at the time so I figured it wasnt that. The sky was completely clear so I don't think it was a spotlight on the clouds either. Thats all I know! . The o nly observer was myself. I'm 17 years old, white male, I go to Woodlawn High School, I've never seen had any spotting before.

Green object appears in digital camera shots of the Moon taken on the night that the Moon was at it's brightest.

On Wednesday, December 22, at 10:30PM Central time, I went out to take some pictures of the Moon when it was supposedly 16% brighter than normal. I stood in the courtyard of our appartment complex and snapped 3 fotos of the Moon in about 10 seconds. I viewed each shot on the digital display, on the back of my camera, just to mak sure the shot was good, and then immediately took another shot. I was unaware of anything in the photos but the Moon and the sky. It was only after downloading them into my computer, and viewing them, was I able to detect a strange green dot in each of the images. I use a viewing program called "ACDSee" that really puts up the images fast, so, after noticeing the green dot in each one, I clicked on each image in succession, and could detect that whatever it was, it moved from left to right and then back left again. I then decided to enlarge and enhance them to try to detect what the object actually looked like. It turned out to look somewhat like a marker-bouy, possibly hexagonal at the bottom, and with a center that protruded upward from the larger haxagonal platform at the bottom. After enhancement, the object in the 3rd image seems to have a yellow luminance on the tip of the protrusion, but the object definately has a green appearance overall. Not having noticed the object with my own eyes, I can't tell whatever other moves it made, but it certainly covered a lot of space in 9 to 10 seconds, (the total time sequence of the 3 shots). I have the original JPEG's and the enlarged and inhanced JPEG's, done with Paint Shop Pro 6. Contact me via e-mail if you wish any of these shots. ((e-address deleted))

While taking a smoke break outside at work, just before dawn, I saw what I first thought was a Roman Candle, or some kind of firework, then I realized: 1, it was the wrong time of year; 2, it was too high in the sky and far away. I'v worked nights for 13 years, and have seen many shooting stars, but none like this. It was a Bright Green ball, followed by a trail of orange sparks. It was about softball sized, to the North, falling from West to East. It disapeared behind the building next to me after only a sec or two. The sky was very clear and starry, and although the siting was brief, the image was very clear.

the brightest lights over the mississippi river

i woke up at about 2 am to get some water looking out of my kitchen window i saw 3 very bright lights almost blinding at first they were just sitting in a triangle shape i knew they couldnt be stars because i look out that window every night i just watched for awhile and out of nowhere two of them started to race or dance around the other one fast and then just took off to the south like a bullet the other one just sat still for awhile it would get so bright then dim so i got my cam corder and started filming the last one out the window it had moved south real quick to so i went outside to get a better view it sat and just got brighter then dimmer moved around fast and left as you will see on the video this is not the first but many many sightings just the first one i had a camera for this happens every winter for some reason i gonna start keeping my camera with me more often thanks

I saw 3 orange illuminated triangles flying very low between 2 apartment buildings, just above the trees.

I left my apartment to go to the laundry room. I was walking and turned the corner, and there was 3 illuminated orange triangles, flying in formation. One in the front and two on the rear, forming like a triangle. But they were 3 seperate triangles. I noticed them quickly, because they were so low to the ground. About two of the apartments stacked high. 50 feet up (or low). They moved slowly and silently towards a church between the two buildings I was standing between. They slowly turned around and slowly came back towards me (with my mouth wide open) and then they slowly got higher and then they shot off and disappeared. They had to be traveling at the speed of light. 45 minutes after the one of the wildest things I've ever experienced I went back outside and I saw 3 small engine planes flying around the area(within 2 miles). I don't know if somebody else saw but someone had to have.

metallic disk emerged from one cloud and disappeared behind another.

I assume my sighting correlates to another sighting on this date, in this city. Beyond the other witnesses account, I could only guess it was summer (due to the fact that it was still light outside at 7:30 pm) and that it was 1979 or so (based on my age at the time).

My older sister and I had been sent to bed early for misbehavior that evening. We were in the back bedroom of a single story duplex on Toulon Dr. in Baton Rouge. Out the back window of the room we saw a large metallic (silver-grey but not shiny) disk with round windows around the upper edge which were amber orange-yellow in color. It emerged from behind a cloud and moved slowly across the sky and into another cloud. During the time we watched and waited, it didn't emerge from the second cloud. The clouds were low puffy white clouds, otherwise the sky was blue, it was early dusk so it was light but not direct sunlight.

I couldn't say how high it was in the sky, but it was low enough to see in great detail that it was a disk, that it did have windows (portholes) and that it was not in any way shaped like known aircraft. It was lower than we ever saw planes in that area.

The craft moved much slower than you would expect a plane to fly. We heard no noise from inside the house.

Being kids and already in trouble, we told our family, but were sent back to bed.

I was fueling my auto in the afternoon at the I-12/Sherwood Blvd. exit in Baton Rouge when I observed a silver disc with portholes at approximately 2-300 ft. altitude over I-12 Interstate. It glided along silently, slightly slower than the traffic. It was observed by me and other patrons, plus the station personell. It was visible for 2 or 3 minutes before disappearing from view. It should have been seen by motorists traveling I-12. We were all amazed and made comments about "the real live UFO".

HUGE oval craft hovering over the treetops follows our car.

I do not know the exact day. I am positive that it was the summer of 1978. I was 11 years old. My father was stationed in Baton Rouge for one year working with the National Guard. He was in Engineering. I had the luxury of flying all over Europe with him since the age of 5. I had been exposed to aircraft of all types. Years later, I joined the Air Force and compared all of the aircraft that I saw daily with what I saw back in 1978. I know that I saw a UFO.

My mother, father and I had gone to a carnival. We were on our way back home. The entrance to our neighborhood was a long wide tree lined street. There were no tall buildings. We lived in a quiet suburban middle class neighborhood. My father drove a golden 1978 Cutlass Supreme. I sat on the back right passenger side behind my mother. There was absolutely no noise. No radio on. No one was talking. I was an only child.

To this day I do not know why I looked out of the rectangular window. The one thing that I clearly remember was that,although it was dark,there was a large moon and the sky was absolutely clear with no clouds. I looked out and up. I watched the biggest craft I have ever seen in my life hovering just above the tree tops. The craft was following our car! I remember bein astounded by the fact that there was NO SOUND! I had ridden on airplanes. I had watched hot air balloons take off. I had been on the ground when airplanes fly low over a parade. The sound should have been deafening. All I could hear was myself breathing.

The craft was oval. The top was rounded. For approximately 4 minutes there were no lights. Just before the craft flew away a row of lights came on along the outermost edge of the widest part of the oval. I remember red and cream colored lights. They were not blinking like a turn signal. They slowly faded in an out. And they did not all come on at the same time. It seemed systematic from front to back.

I watched the craft follow our car for about 1 minute. It took me that long to find my voice. I said "Look!" My dad was driving and could not look. I said "Somebody! Look!" Instead of looking out the side window my mom said "What do you want us to look at?" I was so frustrated because I could not formulate the descriptive words necesary. My mother was being stubborn and did not look in any direction on purpose. I said "Dad! Please look!" He tried to look. To this day, this memory brings tears to my eyes because he tried to look. He could not see from where he sat. During the entire conversation I never took my eyes off of the UFO.

What happened next confirmed my belief that this was a UFO. By now, we have travelled at least a mile down the road. The craft had followed our car the entire time. Once the lights came on, the craft simply did a right angle and flew away in an straight line so fast it was unbelievable. The craft did NOT BANK right. I followed it with my eyes as long as I could.

This whole event took between 5-7 minutes. I remember thinking that the craft had to be as tall as a 6 story building. Maybe taller. I think that it was as long as a couple of football stadiums. The bottom of the craft was flat. I did not see any windows. I felt that the color of the object was greyish. It was definitely a matte finish. Not metallic.

I remember it like it was yesterday. I was a teenager and my family was traveling from Alexandria towards Baton Rouge. It was a clear blue sky day. Out of the clear blue sky a large pale blue spot appeared.

Out of this pale blue spot the craft appeared and darted out ahead of us and hovered over the interstate. People were stopped all along the highway looking at it. State troopers were pulled off the road taking pictures and talking on the radio. The craft was a shiny silver saucer-shaped object with green, white, and yellow lights on the bottom. The lights turned and alternated. It hovered a long while over the western edge of Baton Rouge.

My father would not stop for anything, even for a UFO. All of us kids watched it intently. We headed straight towards it for a long time. My father was irritated at the slow moving traffic. As we got near it, it shot out straight forward in a blast of speed with no sound nor contrails. It then hovered over the eastern side of the city. A we made the turn heading south, we watched it out of the back window of the car. Eventually it shot clean out of sight in a second. I've spoken of it only in circles of trust.

My entire family remembers that day vividly. The date is approximate; could have been '74 - '76. It was summer and none of us kids had left home yet, therefore we all were riding together.

This one page notice appeared in the Transactions of the American Philosophical Society vol. 6 Part 1 (Philadelphia, 1804), p. 25. At the time it was written, Thomas Jefferson was president of the Society and also Vice President of the United States.

Apparently it was written and submitted by the naturalist William Dunbar, and communicated or presented to the society by Jefferson. Unfortunately, the plate referred to is missing.

Description of a singular Phenomenon seen at Baton Rouge, by William Dunbar, Esq. communicated by Thomas Jefferson, President A. P. S.

Natchez, June 30th, 1800.

Read 16th January 1801.

A PHENOMENON was seen to pass Baton Rouge on the night of the 5th April 1800, of which the following is the best description I have been able to obtain.

It was first seen in the South West, and moved so rapidly, passing over the heads of the spectators, as to disappear in the North East in about a quarter of a minute. It appeared to be of the size of a large house, 70 or 80 feet long and of a form nearly resembling Fig. 5. in Plate, iv.

It appeared to be about 200 yards above the surface of the earth, wholly luminous, but not emitting sparks; of a colour resembling the sun near the horizon in a cold frosty evening, which may be called crimson red. When passing right over the heads of the spectators, the light on the surface of the earth, was little short of the effect of sun-beams, though at the same time, looking another way, the stars were visible, which appears to be a confirmation of the opinion formed of its moderate elevation. In passing, a considerable degree of heat was felt but no electric sensation. Immediately after it disappeared in the North East, a violent rushing noise was heard, as if the phenomenon was bearing down the forest before it, and in a few seconds a tremendous crash was heard similar to that of the largest piece of ordnance, causing a very sensible earthquake.

I have been informed, that search has been made in the place where the burning body fell, and that a considerable portion of the surface of the earth was found broken up, and every vegetable body burned or greatly scorched. I have not yet received answers to a number of queries I have sent on, which may perhaps bring to light more particulars.
