Orange fiery objects flying low in a procession

October 19, 2023, 7pm. While driving home in the evening I saw an orange glowing object flying low. I initially thought it was a drone on fire. I parked in my driveway to get out and get a better look. I saw multiple silent orange objects flying northwards in a staggered line, possibly about a dozen. A neighbor walking his dog stopped to watch and my wife came out to look. I went back indoors and didn’t have a good count of the total number of objects. Videos attached from iPhone 15 Pro. Living near DC, I can only assume the objects might be military?

Sighting of orb moving quickly from earth to outside of the atmosphere (shooting further into space, not across the sky like a meteor).

On the evening of September 11, 2023, at approximately 11:03pm, two adults (ages 28 and 26), witnessed a circular orb (the size of a quarter, if you were to point the quarter to the sky), as bright as the moon quickly slingshotted into space faster than any aircraft, meteor or shooting star both participants have ever seen. The two participants were on the patio of their 4th floor apartment, stargazing, when they noticed the orb shoot through the sky. Since the orb shot through very fast there was no way to document the incident through phones, however, minutes after, we decided to jot down notes and draw out what we saw. We are more than happy to send over a copy of those drawings and information.

The orb was seen from the corner of one of the participants eyes and its light, speed and direction commanded the night sky and was highly visible. It's trajectory was that of a slingshot. The orb appeared as if it had entered a dimension (it slingshotted through space and disappeared in less than a second).

One participant said the orb had moved so fast that it looked as though it was going through stages. The participant said they saw the orb and then morphed versions of the orb as if it was moving through space at speeds far faster than any aircraft.

It is important to note the area in which we saw this orb is heavily accessible by military helicopters and military aircrafts that routinely fly over the area, however, where the orb appeared was further, brighter and faster than any military aircraft that has ever flown past. There is 100% no way this was a military aircraft - there were no blinking lights.

It was first seen peering through the clouds and shot through them, moving outside of the Earth's atmosphere. It did not move like a meteor across the sky, but instead moved upward toward space.

The two adults are regular stargazers and are incredibly familiar with normal sightings in the sky (planets, stars, airplanes, missile launches, and meteors); this was completely abnormal.

Saw two flying objects flying in circles and erratic movements then they disappeared.

I was talking my daughter to the bus stop this morning and we were looking up at the moon. I saw two white oval like objects up in the sky. I said „I wonder what those are“ and my daughter replied „They’re probably just planes.“ They looked way too high up to be a plane. When we first spotted them they were flying close together and then they began moving in various directions. One moved in a circle like motion the other more erratically and covered more distance very quickly. I was able to snap one photo and when I looked up to take another one they both had disappeared. Shortly after they disappeared I saw a plane fly over and it confirmed the previous two objects were much too high to have been planes.

An orb or some kind of light dancing in and out of one cloud bouncing all around it.

I was leaving my house at 530am, i had just pulled out of my driveway, reaching the end of the street at my cul de sac, when i stopped to let a runner cross the street in front of me, otherwise i would have kept going as i usually would, and as i waited i looked up at the very dark barely blue pre sunrise sky and noticed a smallish cloud oddly lit up around its edges, no other clouds around were that way, this was a mostly clear morning but for two or three little clouds, that was when i first noticed this odd light dancing in and out of that cloud and zooming all around it playfully, i could even see it bouncing around inside the cloud quickly changing direction and making all sorts of erratic patterns. I watched it play around and in and out of that cloud for about a minute, when i decide to drive off somewhat perplexed… i had to catch the train to work. I get to the train station, i get onboard, and as the train is pulling off, i look to the sky in the direction i saw the dancing light, when i noticed the cloud it was playing in had a lit up silver lining, and what looked like trails of condensation in the sky all around that cloud in all sorts of odd patterns… i realized immediately that they were left by whatever was up there playing in that cloud. There were no planes in the sky yet as it was still too early for commercial flights, no helicopters, nothing. The sun hadn’t even risen yet, and no sight of the light, it was gone. In summary the light behaved like a playful hummingbird completely uninhibited and frivolous and unthreatened in anyway. What made it even more bizarre is that i live less than 10 miles from the capital in DC, and nothing flys like that around here, not even military planes. This was unique, and oh yes one last thing gravity mattered not to it, it moved in any direction effortlessly.

No wings, cylinder streaking across clear sky, comes to complete stop, then streaks 120 degrees straight up and out of sight.

It was a very clear day. I was working in the garden. I looked up and noticed a bright, shiny paramecium shape object streaking across the sky from N to S across the airspace West of town. I tried to view it as a bird but it was higher than bird flight. It appears to have no wings but may have had some thin structures like pipes, at front and back of the flat cylinder like shape. I tried to view it as a plane at high altitude but it was about 10 times faster than a high plane. I took several steps out from the shade of a tree and the object came to an immediate and complete stop for about 1 second. From an extremely high rate of speed South to a complete stop. It then changed direction 120 degrees back and up. Within about 3 seconds it was out of sight completely. It appeared to go nearly straight upward, away from the earth. The movements of this object were not normal and definitely would fit a UFO report. It reminded me of the military jet object that met the unexplained or impossible movements causing it to be judged a legit UFO report.

Nothing other happened and with quite a bit of looking up, I saw nothing of it or anything other.

Bright, circular Fresnel-lens shaped light several times larger than Venus appeared and then disappeared after about 30 seconds

While admiring the beauty of the clouds this morning, a UAP appeared directly in my field of vision. I starte at it the whole time it, trying to detect and determine the nature of what I was viewing. It looked similar to a headlamp on a train and too bright to be a planet. I checked and there are no planets anywhere near this part of the sky at this time. It did not appear to move in any direction and the shape and intensity of light suggested some sort of in-place motion such as spinning or oscillating. After about 30 seconds or so it vanished. Morning sky was lightly cloudy and the light appeared to somehow be punching through the clouds. The sky lighting and color was in very high contrast to the object viewed. The spot was way too bright to be a planet, but the distance and size light intensity was wrong for it to be any kind of naturally occurring reflection of the sun.

Since the sightline is in the general direction of the US White House, I was curious and used a compass to get the direction of the sighting and plotted a rough trajectory to see where the vector would fall on Google Maps. My best guess about where I think the object may have been hovering based on what I saw, is indicated by the bold red arrow on the UAP_map_vector_2021-12-07_8-22-06.png image uploaded. The area highlighted is between the White House and Andrews Air Force Base. I worked as a lighting design engineer in a previous career which developed advanced knowledge of human vision, perception and psychology of seeing.

I don't seek out UAPs and this is the first time I have reported one. I am reporting it primarily because of perceived proximity to important Federal institutions.

I observed a round fainting glowing white round object with a brighter outer ring and a darker center, definitely opaque, moving rapidly (it took about 2-3 seconds from my first observation from my deck, which faces east, until it was obstructed by my trees) at about a ~ 45-60 degree from horizontal moving from my left to the right, before it became obstructed by the trees. I noticed it when it was about ~ 10-20 degrees to my left when I was facing east. It was below the cloud cover, which was light. It was silent. I did not notice any obvious signs that it was caused by ground or other illumination source. I have never seen anything like it.

I got out of the car on the passenger side on the opposite side of the street of my house (left side) house being on the right. I had two hands full of food and soda as I closed the door with my hip. I had a lot of things in my hands so I was still standing in the exact spot when the car pulled away facing the opposite direction of my house. Checking pockets in case I forgot anything etc, as I began to turnaround a light caught my eye. I double take and look a third time and there was a perfect circle that was all light. More yellow than orange mostly yellow. I had a good 10 seconds to observe and confirm what my eyes were witnessing. It was far I could tell but it wasn’t in space it was in my sky about where the second layer would be. Though the skies were clear and it was night time about 10-11:00 PM. I had been seeing shooting stars and asteroids burn out in the atmosphere in space which had my attention so I would often look up at night. This night the ball of light stood completely still as I watched it just sit in the sky. It looked like a small sun yet it made nothing around it bright. As I looked left and right down my street there was no one to call to come and see the same as I saw. The second I looked back up the ball zoomed so fast downwards to the left and then to the right and then shot out so fast as I watched it fade by size into what looked like space. I was really excited and I regret not reporting that night as I did look for a number to report to. Later that year as the world is wakening to these UAP’s I’ve been watching Videos I deem credible and I was jaw dropped as I seen so many balls of light caught on video. I am not a fan of someone who makes up things for no reason I am a true believer of extra life somewhere else in this universe I would love to speak with an investigator as this is really nothing capable of being from earth doing the speed I seen.

Black Triangle UFO spotted at night over Woodrow Wilson bridge, following I-95 torwards Alexandria, VA.

I was coming from Maryland on I-495 at about 8:40PM or 20:40, heading towards the Virginia metro area to visit my sister. The sky wasn't completely dark yet, but it was pretty close. It was around the moment National Harbor came into my view that I noticed some strange lights over the center of the bridge.

Three small white lights seemed to be slowly following one another about 50-100 feet above the bridge, right below the landing path for Reagan National Airport. I actually thought two or more planes were about to crash in midair before I realized all the lights were apart of the same moving craft. Instead of going towards Reagan to land, it drifted lazily from one side of the bridge to the other, and eventually began heading towards the VA end of the bridge following I-95, same direction I was going. I actually got pretty close to it (not right under it, but pretty darn close), and could make out a dark triangular silhouette above the bridges street lamps. The craft had a light on each vertex/tip and was about the same size as two SUVs side by side.

It was around this time my sister called me to get an ETA, that's how I'm still able to timestamp this whole thing. I explain to her what I'm seeing and stay on the phone until I eventually lose sight of the craft around 8:46PM or 20:46 when it seems to take an interest in a different road along I-95 and I pass it. I was too busy driving to get a picture.

Other Details: The Triangle (|>) moved "base" first (|) with it's third "vertex" tailing behind it (>). I couldn't see any features like helicopter blades, airplane wings, or a cabin/fuselage. I rolled down my window and couldn't hear any aircraft engines either. At one point the front "base" lifted as the craft gained some altitude (a meter or two maybe) and the back "vertex" dipped down before leveling out with the front, giving me a partial view of the top of the craft and an idea about its dimensions, and it almost seemed flat. Average speed I followed at was 60-70MPH, but the craft was going way slower when I first spotted it. Not to mention, it was in some pretty strict airspace with Reagan, Andrews, and D.C. all right there. Not sure what kind of pilot would have the jurisdiction to fly the way this thing did in such a sensitive area.

2020 was weird.

I'm not crazy but we saw something that we couldn't identify.

On the evening of September 15th my twin sister, 16 year old nephew and I were sitting on the deck eating dinner. We looked up and saw a bright light that did not move. My nephew said it was a helicopter but I said it was stagnant and not moving. Then there was a big bright burst and it collapsed into itself and disappeared, just like a hyper speed scene in a science fiction movie. We all looked at each other and said, "What did we just see?" A few seconds later we saw it again in the exact same place in the sky! I ran into the house to get my husband, 8 year old son, 12 year old daughter and 13 year old niece. We all stood watching it in disbelief. My daughter took a picture and video of it with her iphone 11. Then it disappeared again. I sat outside for another hour watching the same spot in the sky but it never reappeared.

My twin sister and I are both Federal Officers and I also work for an airline at the airport. We have sat on our deck almost every night for 6 years at our house. It has a beautiful view of the George Washington Masonic Temple. We live in close proximity to the White House, so a drone flies over our house every 20 minutes, it has red lights on it. A prison is also near our house; so we see many helicopters fly over our house with search lights. We are very familiar with how airplanes, helicopters and drones look. They are always moving, not stagnant and they all have red lights on them.

So, that is why we took notice of the bright burst of light that was just suspended in the air with no movement. It was amazing, not scary but still makes you aware of how small we are on this earth. I don't know what it was, but with 7 other people who saw it, it had to be something unexplainable.

I was awake when all the sudden I heard a very mechanical noise and then green and blue bright lights shown into my window. I live in the 15th floor and there are no tall buildings near me and it didn’t sound like a helicopter or anything like that. The moment I grabbed my glasses so that I could look outside and see what was going on the sound and the lights turned off. My assumption is that it was a UFO although I could not see it other than the lights and hear the sound seven times, three long and four quicker.

Walked outside and noticed an oddly behaving bright star took picture and video then noticed something extremely out of the ordinary

On March 29, 2020 I had woke up on the couch after having a really strange dream. A little stressed from the experience I decided to step outside to smoke a cigarette. As I was sitting there on the front steps I noticed in the sky, a bright star, the moon was out and it was brighter than the moon. I do a fair amount of “star gazing” and to me this wasn’t a “normal” star. I’ve had never seen it before in the night sky. Upon continuously starring at it I noticed that it wasn’t staying still slightly shaking and it would move vertically up or down just a little from my point of view. At this point I’ve probably been sitting outside for about 5 minutes or so and I thought it was strange so I decided to take some videos and pictures of the star. After finishing my cigarette I walked back inside and wound up falling right back asleep after turning on the tv. I woke up again and immediately was thinking about the star so I went back out to the front yard to smoke another cigarette and check it out. However upon looking up in the sky it was gone. I looked all over the sky maybe the star positioning was different since it was a different time however it was no where to be seen. I thought this experience with this star was strange so I went back inside to look at the videos and the photos of the star. That’s when things got weird. I still don’t understand this but the couple videos I had taken had been completely removed from my phone (I get chills just writing this down). The videos had completely disappeared however the few pictures I had taken were still there. After going through the pictures I noticed something in the last one. (In the pictures the moon is the top left and the star is to the bottom right.) In the last picture the star looks completely differently and made me question what it really was. It doesn’t look like any star I’ve seen especially the more you zoom in. I showed it to my roommate and friends and they sort of shrugged it off so I didn’t think much of it after that but after recently showing some people this picture they expressed their shock and disbelief so I’m deciding to report this now.

I have observed this event 3 separate times in one month. There is always a straight line of them moving across the sky. West to east. The first two times i saw them they were very organized and in one colum. This time there was two lines following 2 different trajectories. They don't seem hard to spot just go outside and look up. They remind me of what the International space station.looks like both in size and speed of travel.

Covered Disk shaped Object on Flatbed with US Army Soldiers Following Closely

As sent by Text to Me this evening (February 14, 2020) by a Very Reliable Source: On Thursday February 13, 2020, while returning back to Baton Rouge from Dallas, Texas, I was traveling Southbound on Interstate I-49. I saw on the North bound side of I-49 a Convoy featuring two Pickup Trucks traveling side by side. One of which had a tall pole which I presumed being used for checking Overpass Clearances. Following the Pick-up trucks, there were Two Louisiana State Police Cruisers. Following the State Police Cruisers was an 18 wheeler carrying a “Covered” DISK Shaped Object which spanned both Lanes. Behind the 18 wheeler there were three Army Trucks carrying soldiers. Traffic behind the Convoy, must have been backed up for two miles. By the time I thought about it and grabbed my Cell Phone, it was too late to get a picture.

My Comments: If the Army was taking the lead on this “Project”, the convoy may have been traveling to the Fort Polk Army Base. England Air Force Base would be my next guess.

However, it may have been built by Boudreaux and Thibodaux for running Crawfish Traps on one of the Military Bases. The General Might Be a Cajun! Military Bases have to spend their allotted funds each year or they

Bright white star darting around between 150-160 degrees S-SE before ascending away towards the Aquila constellation.

I had just backed our car into our parking spot.

Although it was a crystal clear night, there was a lot of light pollution and only a few bright stars were visible.

My husband got out of the car to walk to the mailboxes. I took the moment to look up at the sky and appreciate the view from our convertible before closing the roof.

While looking up westward at the sky, I saw a very bright white ‘star’ move across the sky SE to S (about 5-6”) in my peripheral vision. There were no other visible stars in its vicinity, nor were there any aircraft.

I slowly got out of the car without taking my eyes off the ‘star’ and turned to look up at it directly in its very high south position.

It continued to move in random directions, not varying much between 160 degrees S and 150 degrees SE .

I called for my husband to come over quickly, I pointed out the ‘star’ and asked him if he could see it moving, too. He said yes, and we stood watching the star dart around for about five minutes.

Then we laid down on the sidewalk to stabilize ourselves to be sure it was the ‘star’ that was moving and not our bodies. We continued to watch it dart around for another 10 minutes or so.

Although it did not waiver in its brightness until it seemed to move away, my husband also observed periodic white lights to the sides of the star. I did not see this detail.

We didn’t try to take any photos or videos because we only had our iPhones with us.

The movement seemed to start to slow down and the star seemed to move out further at 154 SE degrees towards the Aquila constellation.

We got up and walked to our house and encountered our neighbors. We pointed out the moving star and they could both see it and its movements but it was getting harder for any of us to make it out.

At 11:21 pm we went inside as the star was now too far away to discern from the light pollution.

This morning, a knowledgeable friend did a quick check on a satellite tracking app for the evening of the 26th and the brightest thing during the time frame I cited was an ISS pass (a very bright magnitude -1.1), but that was at the opposite side of the sky and skirting the northern horizon from our area's vantage point. The only satellite transiting Aquila at the time was a GPS sat on a polar orbit, which are very faint.

We were driving home from a late movie, we saw what appeared to look like a drone hovering out in a field on the north side St Road 28 between Muncie and Alexandria. The object had orange/red lights and we didn't think it was anything out of the ordinary until the object turned immediately on its side and the lights went from horizontal to vertical. As we were driving, we also noticed it appeared to large to be a drone and also why would a drone be out so early around 1 am. After we saw it turn on its side, a few seconds later, it was gone. We believe now that we definitely saw something that was not normal.

Strange orange ball moving above fireworks and planes.

My friends and I were messing around on the local middle school field, lighting fireworks (it was the Fourth of July). But then when we were about to leave we saw the craft. Even though there were fireworks and planes we saw the craft far above them. It appeared off to our right moving up into the sky and started moving to our left. As it moved we all noticed it and saw that it was not blinking nor did it have any actual shape, nonetheless it move at a relatively fast rate. Then it stoped and moved upward and faded.

Very large triangle shaped object flew over my house very low and was silent as night.

Planes often fly over my house very often, and very low. But this was not a plane. A huge triangle shaped craft flew over my house very low, maybe 500 feet, and made no noise what so ever. It almost resembled a B-2 bomber, but it was way too big to be one of those. It only had three lights which were all white and no red ones. During the pass my cats started acting wierd and stared at it and started whimpering which freaked me out a lot.

Flashing lights from a craft in an irregular patten, sometimes retracting to other areas, in Alexandria, VA

I was just laying in bed on my phone, when I was alerted by bright flashing lights in the sky. I have lived in the DC area for a long time, and know the behavior and appearances of planes and other craft in the area. I have also lived in military towns and this event was shocking to me.

Facing southwest from my apartment window, I saw flashes from an unknown craft in the sky of white-yellow light. The light blinked quickly and unlike crafts on earth the flashes seemed to have no regular pattern. At times the flashes would refract momentarily to a distance away (perhaps a mile or so- it's hard to know how far away this craft(s) was) and then blink back to the origin area.

This went on for about 5 minutes and then suddenly the light stopped flashing. I have never witnessed a UFO in my life and found this event shocking in its irregularity.

Seven very, very bright, blinking lights quietly crossed the sky above us in almost a single-file line.

Sitting with one other person on our balcony...looking east. Partially cloudy sky that night. Other person points and says "what is that?!!" I look up, seeing seven very bright lights, traveling in a nearly straight line, traveling in a north to south direction, at about a 50% angle from the horizon, above us.

The lights were much brighter than the brightest star in the sky--perhaps 10 times or more brighter.

My first reaction was one of being very startled and concerned. This did not look like anything I had EVER seen in the sky before...and I was at first concerned it was something dangerous. After it continued past us, I was less concerned, and just very curious at what it was.

The lights did not make any sound that we could hear...and the night was overall quite quiet. The lights continued on their path, coming in and out of the clouds in a southern direction, for about 6 minutes or so...as they faded out of view and into the clouds in the distance.

Hard to get a good read on their altitude, but they were significantly higher than the relatively low clouds that night, and perhaps a fair bit higher. If I had to guess, I would say 5,000 - 15,000 feet. But again, I'm no expert at altitude distances.

Unfortunately, both of our phones were charging in the other room, and by the time we thought to get pictures, the lights were out of sight.

To describe the lights in more detail: Seven (maybe 8) very bright, white lights, maybe 10 times brighter (or more) than the brightest star in the sky, traveling in a nearly straight-line formation across the sky. They were traveling in a nearly single-file line, with a couple of the lights slightly out of line.

The lights were very close together -- all 7 seven of the lights were approximately contained in the outline of my fist when my arm was completely outstretched. They seemed to be traveling at the approximate speed of an airplane. They were traveling at a constant speed. They seemed to be either twinkling or blinking... not all at once, but at a constant rate...maybe every second or so.

On Saturday, June 10, 2017, beginning at approximately 8:50 p.m., my wife and I witnessed multiple (more than 40 or 50 in all) orange orbs moving together from the southwest toward the northeast in the sky in a series of several, separate, staggered formations.

My wife alerted me to the sighting and called me to come out of the house to see it. She was very enthusiastic about it and exclaimed “Isn’t it neat!”

The orbs were approximately 1000 feet above ground level, moving fast (more than a hundred plus miles per hour, I estimate) and mostly stayed together in a series of loose formations, yet there were some lone “stragglers” that would come along after groupings of 5 or 10 had moved along together.

They were luminous, but perhaps not self-luminous, as they may have been reflecting light from the setting sun. The orbs also appeared to be “pulsing” light.

We live within about 4 miles of Reagan National Airport and the Pentagon; so, the direction they were traveling would seem to have taken them near, slightly south, of both locations.

I took a short video of the sighting with my iPhone.

We have not seen in the news media or heard of any reports to explain what the orbs were.

Friday, March 10th, 2017. There was a White light in the sky. I used a camera and zoomed in. I was round like a planet. But it was to low. Before i caught it on camera. It went out of the camera's view. I looked up. It was there…and i watched it turn red.

Online, I did a lot of research. No planets, asteroids or meteors.

There was a group of what looked like metallic spheres appearing an vanishing over Maryland, seen from across the river in Virginia. They seemed to be floating, with something hanging from the back end of the sphere. There were numerous aircraft passing in between the observation point and the objects (it's very common for aircraft to pass by that point as it is a common approach to land at DCA) allowing a better assessment of the altitude of the spheres in question, about twice the height of the aircraft approaching to land.

Most of the objects seemed to just be floating on an E/SE direction, two of the moved in the opposite direction and up and down rapidly before fading completely.

blinking satellite type objects

I always look at the sky. In the last week, I have observed this twice (all info same for both). Objects which appeared to be satellites but moving slower, appeared to be approximately same altitude as a satellite.

The strange observation is both moving slower than a typical satellite, from west to east. These things would light up (not sure if reflection or their own light) every 5 to 14 seconds, no specific sequence. They both would dim to the point where you couldn't see them and then they would light up for a second or two (not flash). The amount of light would be different each time from rather dim to very brilliant and they didn't appear to be beacons on and aircraft.

No clouds in the sky and was still pretty dark. I'm not saying these are UFOs but it would be nice to get some feed back. No sound from either. Main question is, what would cause a satellite to be very dim and then become so brilliant all the way across the sky, in intervals anywhere from 5 to 14 seconds?

I was sitting out back smoking a cig, when I saw 3 objects flying in single-file formation at around 700 feet, and perhaps a mile away. Speed was perhaps 6 mph headed from east to west.

After they went behind a treeline, a fourth came up as if trying to catch up with the first 3, same elevation.

They were egg-shaped and bright self lit orange with a speckled white in the center.

No sound was heard at the same time a commercial jet flew over in the opposite dirction at perhaps 10,000 feet.

Orange boomerang shaped light moving slowly above the tree line no sound.

My wife, brother in law and I saw a hazy orange boomerang shaped light go across the sky over us.It was coming from the south and heading north. It was slow moving and flying just above the tree tops. The object should have been making a sound since it was flying so low, but it never made any kind of sound. We was standing in the driveway talking about one of the vehicles my brother in law was working on when we saw the light.

Strange humming sound coming from the sky.

I was awoken from a sound sleep hearing a loud humming droning sound coming from the sky. The humming sound was by no means an airplane. I live very close to Reagan National Airport and am quite familiar with air noise in this area.

This strange sound lasted for 15 minutes, and then slowly faded as if leaving the vicinity. Although I immediately arose from sleeping and went outside to see if I could view anything, I saw nothing visually. The sound was quite persistent, however.

I am a professional woman with a Masters degree, and felt I had to report this, as I am positive it was an other worldly spacecraft. Definitely from outer space.

Thought it was a star next to the moon until it started to move

Another viewer on this site reported July 23, 2015, from Titusville, FL, exactly what we saw on August 22, 2015 at around 8:20PM. The picture this person took is EXACTLY what we saw! It was a clear evening sky around 8:20 PM and 3 of us were in the backyard eating, having great conversation. I looked up at the moon and I pointed out the bright star next to the moon. My wife and our friend looked up and saw the bright star.

I continued to look at this bright star while my wife and friend continued their conversation. Then the bright star started to move. I told my wife and friend to look at what I thought was a star, that is now moving.

We first observed this object slightly to the right of the moon. It then started to move left and passed in front of the moon. Once it passed the moon, it stopped for a few seconds and then continued its path slowly pass the moon until it just faded away.

Large bright light moving slow in straight line, no sound, 5,000 to 10,000 ft high then disappeared.





At approximately 10:30 pm last Sunday night, my wife and I were on our patio. I looked directly above my head and saw a brilliant white light traveling east. The object was traveling slow, in a straight line and did not deviate its course. We couldn't see the shape of the object because the light was so bright. It was about 4 times as large as the planet Jupiter that night, which was very bright and clear.

There was no sound and the weather was perfect, no wind. I saw a commercial jet above the object which travel at approximately 30,000 feet, so my best guess at the height of this object was 5,000 to 10,000 feet high (really difficult to determine).

I did check the internet and the space station was near Venezuela at the time.

As it was traveling away, it suddenly disappeared or the light was shut off.

I don't believe it was a satellite because it was just too low.

Again, large bright white light (4 times size of Jupiter), traveling slow across sky, no sound, 5,000 to 10,000 ft high, immediately disappeared after 2 minutes.

The girlfriend and I were hanging outside with our dog and I literally looked up and told my girlfriend to do so as well after I saw a very dim light zigzagging and moving along the sky, going from north to south. In the past year I have lost count as to how many of these moving lights I have seen and showed family and friends.

Last summer, we both saw these straight lines parallel to each other in the sky due north around 2 in the morning, the lines were made of lights. I have a lot of stories and if i encounter more of these moving lights I will be back here. If the sky is clear, there will be something to see.

Myself, My Wife, and 4 Teens witnessed at 6:30pm eastern time, Alexandria, NH.

Driving East on Route 104 Towards Bristol, NH. Saw 2 bright lights close together in the North Eastern sky that dipped down to reveal a third bright light, seemed to disappear and reappear and then gone, only to reappear in a large triangle formation and then go out one after the other in rapid succession.

3 flickering reddish orange light in triangular form.

Saw 3 reddish orange flickering lights in triangular formation. Not sure if it was part of some new kind of firework or not but it was heading from south to north.

One by one they flickered off and disappeared. It's similar to this video except there were 3 orbs and I couldn't capture them on video but it was bright enough to do so.

There was a plane nearby but it didn't seem to be following it.

three (3) orbs of light rapidly moving through the night sky maneuvering around each other before racing off at an incredible speed.

I was taking a break from rehearsal when I saw what I thought at first was a shooting star, but I realized that it did not have a trail behind it. It was a bright light, and it moved as if it were being controlled or operated. It was then joined by two (2) other lights and they began weaving in and out of each other very rapidly as they were maneuvering around each other. They then quickly made a triangle formation and shot off at a speed I have never seen before and vanished from my view.

This is not the only or first time my friends and I (and many, many others) have seen these lights.

Bright white lights hovering over Potomac River near Washington DC and Alexandria VA. (including Reagan National Airport)that are clearly NOT Earth based aircraft. We have had many sightings in the last few months with one to three lights in loose formation. On at least one occasion, military type helicopters (we think Blackhawks) have been scrambled in conjunction with the lights.

Object turning from bluish-white to yellow-orange seen crossing nighttime sky in Fairfax County, VA

SUBJECT: Unidentified Flying Object I’m located in Northern Virginia, just below the I-495/95 beltway, on the south side of Washington, DC.

I was seated in my van, facing approximately NNE, at approximately 8:53 PM, Friday, 23 March 2013.

The air was lit up to the left (and West) of me by the stadium lights at the nearby Hayfield High School.

As I was backing up in my parking space (at the curb in front of my house) in order to clear another vehicle parked immediately in front of me, some movement in the sky to my upper left front caught my attention. Something was moving across the sky low, from West to East, but not particularly fast.

Suddenly, it turned yellow-orange and then disappeared down behind the trees (and house) to my right front.

I think it was flaming out as it disappeared, but I’m not 100% positive! It was visible for a few seconds, although it seemed longer at the time! PARTICULARS I was facing N 47 degrees, 06 minutes 15 seconds E (according to my house plat!) I was looking up at approximately 10 degrees (from horizontal) at the center of my field of view (FOV).

I noticed the object at 30 degrees to the left of center line of FOV.

I lost the object at 35 degrees to the right of center line of FOV.

Trajectory was fairly straight, at angle of 3 to 4 degrees to my horizontal, up on left to down on right.

Trees in front on me were about 480 feet away, at right angle to centerline of my FOV. The house behind which I lost sight of object is about 145 feet away (2-story, split entry model).

Time was approximately 8:53 PM.

NOTEs: I got into my van as I was heading to local 7-11 store to purchase lottery entries (Mega Millions and PowerBall), which I do at about the same time every Tuesday and Friday evening.

When a police officer came to the neighborhood at approx 8:11 PM and we were IDing the time of my observation, he said his Sergeant had sent out a message at 8:54PM to all officers alerting them to be on the lookout for anything unusual.

I had reported the sighting, but because of the altitude, color and speed I thought it was something local (i.e., something other than a meteor) because all I had ever observed were shooting stars and meteorite showers! I offered to the police that I thought it might have come down not to distant from me! Therefore, we didn’t want to rule out possibility that it was a nearby event! Later on 10 PM news (local FOX, Channel 5) they reported that there had been a meteor event, seen from North Carolina to New England, and someone had report seeing it from Frederick, Maryland.

The news added that it was not unusual for observers to think meteors in the atmosphere are than they actually are, but meteors usually stop glowing before reaching 5 miles high because they have slowed so much by then.

This morning, on the NBC news (local Channel 4), they showed a still B&W photo from Maryland and reported that it had been seen from Florida to New England and the colors were bluish and greenish to bright orange in Maryland.

I concluded that I picked up the object as it was slowing from higher speed (whitish-bluish) and turning to yellow-orange. So the observer in Frederick, MD area and I were likely seeing the same thing.

I think the news gave the time as being around 8 PM.

I served 23 years in U.S. Army and have now worked 24+ years as Defense Contractor (hold high security clearance.

Orange Flickering Light Moving and Motionless near Washington, D.C.

Witnessed a bright orange light to the southeast, it had no blinking lights (like an airplane would), but flickered like a candle. It appeared to be moving very slowly from south to north, then slowed to an apparent stop about 30 seconds after first appearing.

It remained motionless in the sky for another 30 seconds, then quickly faded out. Aircraft taking off from Reagan National Airport fly north to south in this part of the sky, but they're close enough to identify the airline and could not be mistaken for anything else; the object observed appeared farther away (perhaps southeast of Washington), made no sound, and moved essentially toward the airport before stopping and fading away.

I'm also aware of the meteor shower--if this was a meteor it was travelling extraordinarily slowly (being visible for about a minute and appearing motionless for a time).

There was no trail. It could have been an aerial flare.

My son and his friends a couple nights ago saw several weird objects in the sky in a circular formation! He quickly called me to see it and I noticed all blinking red lights changed shape and form a straight line and fly off in the same direction at the same speed...blinking only red!! 2 then went the opposite direction, then head down at an angle, 1 straightened out and flew back in the original direction while 1 mysteriously disappeared.

Now, I know what I was seeing, my son knows what he was witnessing.. I wonder NASA, can you explain what you saw on your radars??

11 yellowish/red/orange spheres slowly moving over Alexandria Va, multiple witnesses.

This sighting was in Old Town Alexandria in Virginia around 11pm. While taking a cigarette break behind my work, I noticed a light between the tall buildings. It was floating slowly through the sky and was comparable in shape and brightness to any of those glowing ufos you see on you tube, or a plane/helicopter with a bright light. I have seen strange lights in Dumfries, VA, as well, but I always attribute them to Quantico Marine base which is not far away. The lights I see always end up having a blinking light somewhere on them as well. This is what confused me about the objects I saw, it was absent of any blinking lights. The color was also odd, it seemed to have an orange hue. It did not look like a flaming fireball, but the color reminded me of one. It had no smoke or trail behind it, but glowed constantly. The trajectory was fairly constant, slightly rising as it went between the buildings. My line of sight is down a/an alley/street that is made for ca! rs to come in and out of the parking garages. The alley/street is flanked on both sides with the rear of the tall hotels. The street starts at the back of the my building and ends at a road with large building across the street, therefore, my line of sight is limited. There was no noise. I was intrigued by the odd attributes of the object, so I started wandering in the middle of the alley away from my co-workers. I could figure out the type of aircraft it was, so I called over to one of my co-workers so he could come see it. We were looking at it and could not identify the craft. As we were watching, another light came into view. It looked and moved the same. We then witnessed about three more I believe. It was a very interesting sight, watching the orange glowing objects slowly floating. I finished my cigarette and radioed my coworker, posted out front, to make sure he was doing ok without me. He said he was fine. I didn’t mention the lights over the walkie-talkie. I walk! ed in the back door, through the lobby, and out the front to m! y co-wor ker. You can see a bit more of the sky due to the bigger street out front. I still could not see any of the lights in the sky out front, so I asked him if he saw anything weird while I was out back. I didn’t prompt him by adding “in the sky.” He said he saw a bunch of lights in the sky. What amazed me was that he said he witnessed at least eleven of these objects. There must have been some lower flying objects blocked by the building at the end of the street that I could not see. The other possibility is that I witnessed the end of the event, and only saw the last few. There are a few explanations that can be used for this event. The lights could be ET crafts or etra-dimensional crafts. If they are one of those two possibilities; then it seems like they were showing themselves off to us, based on the slow speed and staggered formation. Another thought is that they were Chinese floating lanterns for a funeral or something, I am not sure when it is customary to let off those ! “sky lanterns.” I looked up news on the internet for an event that would let them off. I believe it may be illegal to do sky lanterns anyway, so that may debunk that explanation. It seemed to be a bigger object farther away, rather than small lanterns closer. It could not have been a balloon and be lit up the way it was. My coworker who was out back tried to say they were meteors in the distance from a meteor shower happening starting at 1am that night. They could not be meteors going that slow and horizontal across the sky, unless I am mistaken. He will just not admit that he has no idea what it is and can’t explain it. I hope you mention this sighting next time you are on Coast to coast am. I feel like if you say something on c2c, then other people from Alexandria may come forward. I submitted this to you because the story of the gentleman seeing the fireball reminded me of the color that I saw. Thank you very much, I wish you were taking phone calls tonight. Just got back to my sons apartment after a movie. I was looking up in the sky to see the star and any satellites going over. I looked over to the left where I was standing and saw a triangle shaped 6 dim non blinking red lights in the northeast sky. One in front 2 on each sides and 3 in the back. It was moving very quickly and silently to the east word pattern. I looked over to my daughter to see if she saw it also. She did but my son didn't.

Triangular UFO moving swiftly and silently next to Washington DC

I was walking my dog down my street when in the night sky I noticed an aircraft that didn't look like anything familiar. There was a triangle with three bright yellow lights with flashing white lights between them. live near washington dc which has many large airports and military bases near it so I was skeptical. However this craft moved completely silently and appeared to be not that high up in the night sky. I did see other recognizable planes in the sky that were making noise and did not look like this craft. It was moving very quickly and I jogged to keep up with its position as it moved behind the houses on my street. I eventually saw it a second time in a new location close to where I originally noticed it.

husband drew my attention to object outside our window. Object was bright (looked almost like it was on fire, fluttering light) Object was moving north toward Washington, DC. at a fairly rapid speed. Sitting out on deck. Sky pretty dark for urban area. Looking with 12x60 binoculars in the "summer triangle" for asterism called the "coat hanger"; I was looking up toward zenith.

Then, I saw an oval, dim, cloud-shaped object speeding from north toward south across my field of vision. ( size in 12x60 Oberwerk binoculars was approx. 1/6 the diameter of my field). This thing moved too quick - it was not familiar. (I know how fast a satelite moves when viewed through binocs and this thing was moving 10x faster than any satellite! In fact, a north-south satellite came a few minutes later and it was moving comparatively much slower than the "oval cloud" that preceded it.) It's possible that the light source for the "fast moving cloud" may have been moonlight. There was a moon just past first quarter to the east of the north south traverse of the "object". It's, as if, a translucent substance with an oval or circular structure, passed above me and somehow refracted some moonlight ( or else had a dim light of its own).

I continued to look at the "summer triangle" area with the 12x60 binocs but only saw a "real" satellite running its North-South traverse approx 2 minutes later. I noted that the satelite had a characteristic "drift" towards the west; whereas, the previous, suspicious "object cloud" ran a perfect straight line from North to South. at a speed that was easily 8 to 10 times faster.

I stepped outside to take a smoke and couldn't believe all the stars that were out. I pan around and look over my house.

All of a sudden a blue/white triangle appeared, and it was glowing. I stared wondering what is that?

All of a sudden the triangle took off leaving a long white trail, and all of a sudden it disappeared in thin air.

I never saw anything move so fast. and it just vanished. I couldn't believe it.
