Brown, fast-moving object seen weaving through air.

I was with three other people. One didn’t see anything. I and two others saw it. We were sitting at my complex’s pool around sunset while several airplanes with lights passed by. My friend said “what is THAT?!” and that’s when I saw it. It looked like a brown stick with tendrils. It had no lights on it, and was flying faster than the planes (which all had their lights on) around it. Sporadic flight patterns. At first we thought it could have been an insect, until the object flew further down and disappeared behind an apartment building, meaning it was in the air and far larger than we thought. We don’t know what that was, but all three of us are convinced that what we saw was not a plane or a bug, but something unexplainable.

Unexplainable

Taking pics of eclipse at different times. Then used SkyView Lite to see how eclipse would look - saw anomaly ( lines horizontally and vertically with no name or number near the redline- equator) decided to take a pic on phone camera- saw strange structure- not visible by my eye. Took more pictures of eclipse and area where object was seen. Anomaly, no longer on SkyView lite when I looked again. Took more pictures later and again, next night around the same time -nothing. Can’t explain it

It was a red tiny light that had jellyfish tentacles looking legs hanging from it . It was snooping around next door at a car wash then it flew my direction & went above my apartment building which is not very tall . Once it came closer to me & I believe this thing acknowledged me standing there in shock . That's when it went from a tiny red looking jellyfish to a big bright light like a star & literally disappeared in front of my eyes . I stood still the entire time because I was afraid but once i realized it was gone I ran inside & its been on my mind ever since . I have a short video on my phone but it doesn't do me any justice all you can see is a red light but barely.

Filmed an unusual light in sky that transormed into multiple lights.

I was sitting on my back porch, filming an unusual light that was flickering and hovering in the sky. After a little over a minute of filming, the light flickered, like it was going out. I filmed a bit longer then stopped recording, because I no longer saw it. After looking back at the video, I noticed what appears to be two more lights appear, after the flicker, in the shape of a triangle. It seemed to turn, but I had stopped the recording, so not sure what happened after. I never saw those other two lights with my naked eye; only on the video. This was one of the oddest, but not only, videos I captured while living in that home.

Saw a triangular aircraft that hovered approx. 25 yds above trees with a orb of white light, then the white light went green and left.

UFO encounter happened on a backroad right outside the Lake Charles in the southern region of Calcasieu parish. It occurred at a stop sign in front of a cow field, November 22nd of 2018, at exactly 9:45p.m.. I was heading back to my house from my family’s thanksgiving party and my girlfriend was with me when we were at a stop sign and saw a white orb like light hovering about 25 yards above a tree line in the back of a cow field. We were to notice the white light was being emitted from a dark pyramid/triangular like aircraft and within 10 seconds the white light changed into a burst of green light and with the burst the aircraft vanished. Later that night at my house, I asked my girlfriend what she could remember. She said there was an outline of a triangular shape with light coming from the base, then there was a ball of green light and the figure disappeared. We tried to see if it matched the description of any military aircraft but the research came up em! pty mainly due to the way it hovered and the white and green ball of light.

I walked outside to let our dog ((dog's name deleted)) go to the bathroom and there they were just hovering, I'm guessing 2 or 3 miles away from me, bright orange in color.

I ran back inside and called for my wife to come see them and grabbed my camera, ran back out and got one shot off, and then whatever it was vanished!

Our dog ((dog's name deleted)) was going nuts, barking and then trying to get back into the house.

We saw flashing objects in the sky having an oval shape and also one with other flashing lights forming a triangle.

Brother came in from outdoors saying that there are flashing lights in the sky. Myself and another went outdoors to observe the lights in the sky and yes there were two clear sites of the flashing colorful lights moving rapidly. Looking through binoculars, we could see the side way oval circle of flashing lights of red green n other colors moving swiftly in that particular area. They were located in the North east skies.

We began to look to other area of the sky and spotted a few more. We returned inside the house for about 40 minutes to an hour and went back outdoors to notice the objects had moved more over head in the sky and one of the objects had other seemingly flashing craft around it forming sort of a triangle. We observed them for another 20 minutes or so and returned indoors. What the heck were those objects we saw in the sky???

fast moving planet or other celestial object? Read and personally view yourself at earlier times

I was sitting outside my home which faces SSE (170 degrees) and looked up and noticed a spherical object much like a planet at about 40 degrees in the sky (and at 160 degrees, which is further SE than my home sits) at an extremely high altitude. It was much larger than the planet Jupiter or Saturn. (Was very large with small binoculars.) I also noticed this object was higher than cirrus clouds/chem trails, and moving towards the Northwest as the clouds moved to the Southeast. There were no erratic movements (zig zag, etc) it just headed to the Northwest. Within 20 minutes, the clouds ended up blocking my entire view when it was at my 70 degree angle and directly South of my location. My wife and her sister also noticed this event. I will try and see if this object is still visible tomorrow and for the next few days.

(Note: I'm a certified private pilot and took an astronomy class at LSU 25 years ago, and never saw anything like this)

I SEEN IT STARTED TO MOVE FROM THE NORTH TO THE SOUTH SLOWLY BUT AT A REASONABLE SPEED, I WATCHED MOVE FORWARD, THEN SIDE TO SIDE, THEN BACKWARD A LITTLE THEN FARWARD AGAIN, IT DID THIS ABOUT 2 TO 3 TIMES..... IT HAD NO BLINKING LIGHTS IT LOOKED LIKE A BRIGHT STAR. AND IT WENT FROM THE TWO BRIGHTEST STARS THAT WE CAN SEE AT NIGHT... IT WAS A CLEAR NITE WITH NO CLOUDS, BUT IT WENT FROM ONE STAR TO ANOTHER THE WAY IT LOOKED FROM MY VIEW...... IT LOOKED LIKE A BRIGHT STAR THAT YOU WOULD SEE IN THE SKY AT NIGHT I HATED TO RUN IN THE HOUSE TO GET MY PRO CAMERA TO FILM IT ... BUT I DID... While traveling on I-10, we saw three lights, two white and one red, hovering about the highway.

We were driving on I-10, toward Texas, when we noticed a light in the lower atmosphere. It did not appear to be moving. It was just hovering.

As we got closer to it, we could see that it was 3 lights, two white and one red, in the shape of a triangle.

I attempted to take a picture of it with my phone, but it wouldn't show up in my screen.

The craft stayed in view until the interstate turned, and we couldn't see it anymore.

March 23, 2015.

I was looking out my back door about 8:20 PM and I saw about 10 orange lights in the west southwest sky approximately 35-40 degrees high. They appeared to be moving south to north in a tight formation.

They seem to stop, and at that time I observed 3 more lights approaching from the south, when I looked back for the group they were no longer there.

At that time 3 more appeared from the same area in the south as the original groupings, one of these appeared to drop straight down, the remaining two moved north about 2 or 3 seconds then faded from view.

They were slightly larger in size then Venus, steady bright reddish orange in color.

I live in Lake Charles, Louisiana, which is 30.3 lat, 93.2 long..

Clear sky somewhat light poluted, since I live near downtown.

Metal, hot air balloon shape with red light at bottom.

Me & my wife were heading home, when I noticed what I though was a balloon in the sky. Then I realized it was shiny like metal, really far in the sky (balloon would be hard to see at that distance), & it seemed to have a light at the bottom.

Imagine a large hot air balloon shape, that is solid, with a large light shining red. Then, we passed what I would guess to be directly under it, went forward driving, looking back to see it again. We never saw it again nit was there 1 minute & gone the next. So, either a very large, solid metal hot air balloon with a light at the bottom or something unexplained.

Object shrunk in size, and flew away at an amazing speed.

I went outside to smoke a cigarette, and a brighter than usual light in the sky caught my attention. My initial thought was its an airplane, or a bright star. The object then shrunk in size, and flew away at an amazing rate of speed, and out of sight.

About a half second later, I saw what looked like a shooting star. I'm not sure if the shooting star was connected to the other object or not.

The following description was provided to me from a work associate.

He describes that he was awakened one night, around 10:30 pm by his wife that asked him to come view what she was seeing outside. They both described the object as a small light that was changing colors around its edge. Binoculars were used to better identify the object. It was round about like a pea at arms length, but had different colored lights around its edge that stock out on stems as he described it, resembling the shape of a tic, those little insects that dogs get when walking in the woods.

The object was to the north; just to the right of due north and up about 20 degrees from the horizon, the next night the same object was seen again but slightly more to the right of the first sighting.

My family and I saw a UFO last night at our house.

UFO sighting last night at my house!! Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 9:05 p.m. central time, a UFO flew over my home in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

We were driving down Ryan Street heading home, and we turned left by Blockbuster Video Store when I noticed the white lamb shaped cloud that had what appeared to be a genie lamp on its rear end with smoke coming from the lamp. My husband said that the cloud looked like an elephant to him, and he tried to point out the trunk. We giggled, and then arrived at our house.

I was busy getting things out of the van when my husband shouted out, "Hey, - come see what - found!"

Thinking to myself that I was about to look at another Gecko or some creepy crawly thing I walked over to them. They were both staring at the sky, and I looked up and saw flashing colored lights floating way up in the sky in slow motion heading south while moving upward toward the doom of the sky.

Baffled I asked, "Is that a plane?" My husband said that there was no way it could be a plane, because planes do not move like that. He said that - noticed it first, and he said, "Look Daddy at the stars moving across the sky!"

I started to make out the image as triangular with a glowing sphere shield around the base. It had colored flashing lights that were blue, yellow, and red making the perfect points for a triangle. I confirmed what I was seeing with my husband, and he said that he saw the same shape I did. The object was way higher than a plane would normally fly, and it was moving so as if they wanted us to see them. I waved and said, "Hello, my friends." My husband pointed at -, and told me to be quiet.

We all just watched in awe, and then it speeded up at an impossible speed, and from no where the sky filled with clouds again hiding the object. My four year old said, "See momma, it was the aliens, because I told you they are always up above the clouds."

This is an odd sighting.

This was July or August 2008 and I was sitting on my patio about 10:30 pm local time looking at the night sky and viewing to the northeast. I saw immediately a star sized light suddenly "turn on" and appear in the night sky. It slowly began to increase in size to a perfect white circle to about 2-3 times the size of a pea held at arms length. It then stopped increasing in size and then blinked out. Several seconds later I thought I saw a very faint dot move rapidly south from the position where I first saw this light. This couldn’t be a meter as no trial or sparks or other colors were seen with this light, it was a white perfect circle. There were no other lights seen attached to it suggesting aircraft running lights or tail lights.

I was looking at a formation of stars that seemed to be in a perfectly straight line for quite some time. After looking at the stars for a while (they were in the southern portion of the sky) a bright circular light appeared from absolute darkness. The light started out (Point A) as bright as the brightest star in my field of vision. The light traveled for about 10 seconds and decreased in brightness towards (Point B) until it vanished into complete darkness. I was amazed by the disappearing of this light and assumed it was a meteor traveling horizontally across my field of vision. I gazed at the exact spot in which the light disappeared for roughly around 3-5 minutes. After 3-5 minutes the light appeared again and began traveling horizontally across the sky to (Point C) the final destination. The same intensity and decrease in brightness occurred from (Point B) to (Point C). The lights were not flickering or flashing as a commercial airline or other jet/helicopter would have been. I've seen commercial airliners approaching landing and seen a "spotlight" similar to intensity, but this light was not flashing or flickering, nor was it low enough to have its landing spotlight on. This object appeared to be several thousands of miles in the night sky and did not flicker or scatter, it merely appeared and decreased in brightness until it disappeared and then reappeared again. From Point A to Point C the lights flight took anywhere from 3-5 minutes. From Point A to Point B the light only took 10 seconds to travel. From Point B to Point C was also another 10 seconds. Now this would make the total flight from Point A to Point C take 20 seconds, but the kicker is that the light disappeared for quite some time and reappeared making the total flight time anywhere from 3-5 minutes. I spent another half and hour gazing at the sky hoping to see more commotion but did not find any other abnormalities.

long narrow silver rod seen

This was seen just briefly one afternoon while driving home from work. I was driving due south on a local street about 5 pm local time with perfectly clear blue sky. I noticed a little to my right just a few degrees west of due south, just above the horizon, a shiny object. This was no ordinary object. It was long, very narrow, and silver, and standing up-right, and seemed to be somewhat pointed on each end, but it was hard to tell exactly because of the second or two that the sighting lasted. I thought it might have been a reflection, but I could also tell it was far away as I could compare it against other objects such as power lines, and telephone poles, and commercial buildings. This has to be one of the oddest things I’ve seen, I don’t see too many of these reports shown on the web sites.

First of all, let me say that (1) I have reported an object to NUFORC before, an event which I and another party witnessed in fall of 2005. That said, this event varies quite a bit from the former.

(2) I'm a comprehensive mental health case manager for Volunteers of America, and am currently pursuing a masters in counseling psychology. Anything that sounds like a definitive conclusion that I may mention I stress is purely speculative on my part. I'd like to think my background is fairly based in scientific observation.

This occurred at 6:25 pm on Friday, January 11, 2008. I was in my car in Lake Charles, LA. I had turned off 5th Avenue onto Prien Lake rd., headed east-bound towards the onramp onto interstate 2-10 west (where I was going to merge). There is a fairly short distance between that corner and the onramp, perhaps a half mile. I noticed up to my left something that I hadn't seen before. I assumed it was a tower; Lake Charles is a fairly large town so it didn't surprise me that I had missed seeing it before. The reason I thought it was a tower was because it appeared almost stationary, and was about the height of a tower top. There was three white lights in a triangular formation, and along the back base was a blinking red light. I thought for sure it was a tower top, yet when I kept trying to locate the actual tower itself, I couldn't see it. It was dark, so I assumed that it was just obscured. Then I realized it was moving.

At that point my onramp was coming up, so instead of pulling over and risk not being able to get a good shot of this thing, I merged onto 2-10 west-bound and grabbed my 5 megapixel digital camera out of my tech bag (I keep my PSP, DS, and cam in there when I spend a couple days away from my apartment). The thing was moving slow still, from north to southwest. I took an initial picture with the flash on, which looked like crap because of the glare of my dirty windshield. I turned the flash off and took several more photos. The thing disappeared over the southwest horizon just before I hit the 2-10 bridge of the Calcasieu ship channel.

I wouldn't have given this a second thought if the thing hadn't just *sat* in place while I passed it, and like I said, it seemed somewhat low over the Oak Park area of Lake Charles. My camera picked up little more than taillights and darkness, except for one picture. I had to adjust the brightness on it to see anything, but I believe I may have gotten it on the right side of the frame.

I've been monitoring local media to see if anyone else saw it, but I've heard nothing yet. Traffic was fairly busy, too, at that time. I will say this, too: I've been to Long Island, NY, so I know what real air traffic looks like. We don't get that here, but as soon as this thing was out of sight, lots of planes with blinkblink-pause, blinkblink-pause white running lights started popping up all over. I'm not saying they were chasing anything, just that they were there in stronger numbers than I remember seeing before.

Bright Silvery White Traingular UFO

I was driving with my daughter, her boyfriend, and my son home from going to the store. We were in our subdivision and as I turned the corner onto one of our streets I saw out of my driverside window a solid triangular shaped object about 24-48 feet about the treetops over several houses. It was low enough that I could see without any doubt what it was. It was hovering but not stationary. It was illuminated with a bright silvery white light and a bright blue aura. The object was triangular but instead of the corners being pointed they were rounded. I yelled at the kids and my daughter looked and saw it and screamed. THe object then sped up and flew west over the treetops and up into the sky. It made no sound and there was no movement from the tops of the trees. The light was so bright that it made it possible to see the object clearly. There were no markings or windows. It appeared solid almost like aluminum but even smoother. As we drove down the street trying to keep up with it it continued to fly higher and west. There is no doubt whatsoever as to what we saw. I have never in my life see something like this. I am a nurse and I never imagined something like this existed. It was low enough that we saw exactly what it was.

small silvery object blends into surrounding sky

The day is approximate, probably an early spring morning and very clear with no clouds. I walked outside to observe the sunrise and noticed a small silvery stationary object several miles up glistenig in the early morning sunrays..At first I thought it was a planet, but it was too large (slightly larger than a pin head held at arms length), then perhaps a weather ballon..however what got my attention was that as the sky became just a little brighter, the object rapidly lost its refelction and within 5-10 seconds totally disapperared from view. It seemed to take on the same color as the surrounding clear blue sky, and could not be seen after that.

A small silver - blue chevron shaped object moved across the parking lot of closed restaurant.

I pulled into a parking lot - of the closed Paw Paws restaurant to wait for my father who was coming from Houston to meet me. No other cars were around, however several passed by on Hwy 71 as I sat there.

It was just after noon and a clear blue sky day. A silver-bluish chevron shaped craft of 5-7 feet in length appeared near the edge of the parking lot and swooped low over the parking lot, coming from a wooded area to the west of my car.

It came in low and passed within 20 feet of my car, dropped its speed as if to observe me, making a sharp turn. It then zipped off at a higher speed, gaining altitude rapidly.

I have seen radio-control planes the color and shape of this craft but nothing that is capable of turns and changes in altitude like this ! It rapidly returned to the edge of the woods and vanished .

This is the second time I have submitted this report as I dont see it listed perhaps it did not go thru. In Septemebr of 2003 I was setting up my telescope to view Mars and noticed out of the corner of my eye something moving above the trees. I quickly turned and saw a craft, not a plane, bird, satellite, helicopter, or ballon. It was no more than 300 feet above me (a large 70 foot live oak tree is in my backyard that I used for reference) It was dark in color with a whitish canopy. The craft was 2 or 3 times the trees height, and estimated to be about 75 feet across moving about 30-40 mph. It flew above the tree and along the dividing line that separates my backyard and my neighbors backyard (my neighbors backyard abuts my backyard). The craft made no noise, had no lights, nor wings. Most decernible was a black circular bottom with a white circle on the outter edge of the botton disc, it reminded me of a "white wall tire' as it flew quitley from north to south on a straight trajectory. Oddly enough there is a high voltage station and accompanying high voltage lines down from me on my street and hight voltage lines along the street behind me, the craft seen traveling along the backyards seemed to be driving right between the two streets where the lines are located perhaps "absorbing the energgy field?..Is this craft some type of new military technology? If its alien why not tell us it is alien?....

We saw one large craft that changed colors and later on we saw 2 other crafts that were smaller and emitted a red light.

My friend and I were night fishing on Prien Lake at around 1:00am. At 3:00am we moved from one spot to another on the other side of the lake. At about 3:30 my friend asked me to look above us, that he had been watching an object move around for the past 30 minutes and that he thought it was a star at first, but now he was positive that it wasn't. I looked up to see a yellow light that seemed like it was getting closer. Within about 5 minutes we started to see that it was changing colors. I had binoculars in my boat so we looked at the object through the binoculars. The colors it was putting out were red, yellow, green, and a metallic. The object seemed as though it was spinning. It looked round at first, but then seemed as though it might be triangular as it got closer. The whole time we watched the object it was moving in a way that no other craft known to me or my friend had ever moved. It would shoot sideways(to the right) at a great amount of speed with no accelleration, just from stop to as fast as it could move sideways in 1 second. Then it would shoot back the other direction(left) just as fast. It would then shake a little and then shoot upward extremely fast. After it would shoot upward, it would appear as if was floating back down, almost as if you dropped a feather and it swayed from side to side as it fell. After watching this ship for about an hour and a half I started seeing a purple cloud around the craft. I thought I had been starring at the object for to long and then my friend said that he needed to quit looking at the object because he was starting to see a purple ring around the object. That is when I mentioned that I had been seeing a purple ring around the object for the past 15 minutes. We started to realize that the object would only create a purple cloud around it when it would try to shoot upward. After watching the object for about 2 hours we started thinking that it was maybe having a problem leaving the atmosphere. The sky was clear(no clouds! ) and it was a full moon, so the visibility was excellent. About 15 minutes after we discussed the possibility of it having problems, we saw another object come up from the West. This object was smaller than the original object we were looking at and we actually thought it was some type of jet. It was moving very fast toward the original object, but it was about a thousand feet or more lower than the first object. This smaller object was flashing red and when it got below the first object we sighted it went from a fast speed, like that of a jet, to an extremely fast speed, faster than anything we had ever seen. It shot across the sky about 10 miles or so in 1 second and then came to a complete stop. The craziest thing about all of this is everytime either of the objects would move sideways or up and down, their was never any acceleration. It was stop to as fast as it could possibly go and the human eye still see it move, with no acceleration. There was also no sound. The smaller object stayed in one spot for about 5 minutes, then it shot across the sky very quickly again toward the original object. After it got below the original object, it shot up towards it and without stopping, headed South until it disappearred. Then about 5 minutes later, another red flashing object appeared taking the same path as the last one. Only this object would stop and go franticly as it headed to the first object we sighted. This third object moved stranger than the other two, but seemed to be the same as the second object we sighted. It finally got underneath the first object we saw and it shot up toward it and then headed South until it disappeared. Then suddenly both red objects came into view. Both of them were on each side of the first object sighted, but not right by it, probably a couple of miles away on each side. By now it was getting daylight and the two red objects were not visible anymore. However, the first object we had spotted was still in the air. It appearred to be further away now and kind of looked like a star bouncing around. It was now about 8:30am and an airplane was coming in for a landing at the Lake Charles airport, which I thought had to have seen this activity on radar all night, but I later found out that they close all departments of the airport after 10:00pm. This plane was coming in for a landing with its landing gear down and the original object that we had saw after 3:00am was starting to fade off to where we couldn't see it anymore. Then the plane that was about to pass over us and land started to turn and eventually took off in the direction it was coming from, leaving us only to think that the airport had diverted this plane away. At around 9:30am, my friend and I left the lake. We both realize that we will never really know exactly what we saw, but I hope by posting this message, someone else will have some input on the same sighting that we had. It just lasted too long and the sky was too clear for someone else not to have seen at least some of the activity.

Unusal objects moving fast and quite over southwest Lousiana

This object appeared on a clear night. The object was easily seen with the unaided eye moving exactly from east to west at a fairly fast clip it was out of my sight within a few seconds. It was shaped cicular, white-grey coloring. It had no lights, no wings, and no noise. There was no one else in my yard other than me observing this object. I would guess it was maybe 1000-1500 feet up? Lighted objects have also been recently reported on the local news over this area. I might also add that this same object or at least one similar was again observed by myself in the back yard around 10 pm local time in the month of Septemer of this year as I was seting up my telescope to observe Mars. That object had a definte black bottom and a whitish top, moving fast and quiet, exactly from north to south. It exhibited simlar charactistics in stucture and altitude as the first did.

I only observed a single point of light. It was traveling north to south. It was located north of the handle of the big dipper. Then it just vanished. There were no strobe lights or other colored lights. I was curious if it was a satilite, or an asteroid? I didn't think satilites went north to south. It was only visible for a few seconds, then it just vanished. It didn't appear to be in the atmosphere, but further out in space.

My girlfrind and myself were out stargazing when i noticed 3 trianular shaped craft slowly moving north in the sky she also saw the same thing.

At first we both assumed that it was military craft but after observing them it was obvious that it wassent due to the fact that they were traveling much slower than a airplane and they made no noise at all and the lighting on the craft were not consistant with those of a normal aircraft...all three vessels had dim blue lighting on them in a triangle pattern, while observing them they flew out of view within 10 minutes of seeing them they were heading north.

There was a UFO in Lake Charles, Louisiana, in 2000.

On a winter night in 2000, I stepped outside my house and saw in the neighbor's goat pasture a lighted object that hovered up, down, and up again. I called to my wife who came immediately and saw the object just as it began moving east toward Lake Charles Municipal Airport. We got into our car and followed the object, which had to have been moving close to 100 miles per hour. I distinctly remember the object passing in front of an airplane descending onto the runway. Afterward, the object moved too quickly out of our range to keep up with it. The local television station, KPLC, reported that there had been multiple sightings. The next day, our newspaper, "The American Press," reported that what people were seeing was a blimp with lights inside of the inflated part that was illuminating it. I was within three miles of the object and got no impression that it was a blimp, but I cannot say for certain what the object was.

This happened in the late 70’s. I was actually taken from my home by UFO’s. I actually was unsure at first, but when I saw the markings on my body, I knew that it was real. I do not want to disclose anything else at this time.
