I don't believe what I saw was a craft.

I was looking up hoping to see a perseid meteor. All of a sudden out of my peripheral to my right a bit I saw a flash. I was facing toward the east overhead at the time. When I focused on the area where the flash was, what looked like a flare or a sparkler fell and was glowing as it fell. It fizzled out after falling for 5 or 6 seconds and another one illuminated and fell. I watched as one by one they fell from the same spot in the sky. 7 or 8 of them over the course of about a minute. They fell straight down from the same spot in the sky like they were following each other straight down. Pretty high up and a bit southeast from my location but almost overhead. Sky was very clear and I live in a rural area. It was dead quiet. No planes passing overhead, and to low to be a satellite. I got a really good look at it. I finally ran into the house to get my phone to try and film it. When I got back outside it had stopped. I lived in Alaska for 30 years and was constantly going out to watch satellites, northern lights, meteor showers and the stars. I am almost 70 years old and have never seen anything quite like this. I am prior military and it almost reminded me of chaff or decoy flares shot out of a plane. This was totally different as they all originated from the same spot in the sky and followed each other straight down. I'm certain there was no plane as it was dead quiet. Totally freaked me out and I was shaking when I went back to tell my wife. This is something I will never forget as long as I live. I called the Oxford police department to ask if anyone else had reported anything and they told me no. I was hoping it had been observed by someone else. Wish I had got it on video and thought I'd report it to you. I couldn't see what or where these glowing objects originated from. I am color blind so don't know what color they were.

Coming home late last night into my apartment complex and my cousin and i saw a cigar shaped light flying downwards and there was bright white lights on each side of the object.

BRIGHT LIGHTS IN SKY

I was driving down the road and something caught my eye and i looked up in the sky and there was two things with lights all around them. One looked smaller and was off to in the distance and one was bigger and a little lower then the other. I knew it wasnt a plane or helicopter because when you see those they are moving. These objects weren't moving. They had lights all around them, very bright lights. I looked away for a split second and the little one was gone but the big was was still there. I was so amazed i even pulled over on the side of the road and looked behind me and there was 1 more car pulled over looking and another pulling over looking at the same object as me.

1 small cigar shaped. Bright orange at a low enough altitude to determine shape and color. Object seemed to glow bright orange to bright to make out any features other than shape and size. No noise, moved slowly to the north west.

I heard on the radio that it has been said there were 75 reports of a UFO being seen in the sky across the U.S. on the 4th of July 2010.

There was a report made by a residence of Abbeville, Louisiana, in reference to an object flying very low almost touching the tree line located off of LA Hwy 14 between Abbeville and Kaplan Louisiana around 2258 hours. It was stated that on the flying apparatus had 30 to 40 lights in it, and it was flying very slow heading north towards Lafayette Louisiana.

The local Sheriff's Department received the complaint and attempted to locate, but saw nothing.

On the morning of the July 7th, I heard the talkings of these UFO's on the radio and thought I should report this.

It was a scarey sight.

I was out side getting some water for my grandmother when i looked up to look at the stars. Six triangle-shaped crafts lowered themselves about 200 ft. above the ground. I saw a door slide open and that when I ran for the house. Inside I sat at the window to watch, but the door closed and it took off.

UFO visits small town USA.

This object came over us twice, the first time i heard it, but didnt look my 11 year old son seen it out his window and ran to tell us but it was gone, a few minutes later it came over again and all 5 of us went out to see it, it was triangle shaped with lights like a plane, it was moving slow and low and rather quietly, my son was on the phone with a friend that lives in the direction it was moving and he went outside and seen it also, it looked kinda like a steath fighter but it was moving too low and too slow so we dont have a clue what it was.
