Silver reflective object that immediately disappears!

1 shiny silver, slightly disc-shaped object that reflected the sun’s light. It could have been metallic. I thought it could have been some type of plane at first or possible helicopter due to it being closer to the ground than anticipated. I attempted to dismiss this as something known. Stayed in place for approximately 5 seconds and then immediately disappeared without a trace. It disappeared faster than I could process what I had seen. I contacted a close relative later that night and reported this UFO sighting. I was informed by the relative that the night before around 6:30pm in the same area they had witnessed an object flying straight up in the air which seemed to come from the ground.

Red and blue flickering lights with a white light that gets blocked occasionally by the object hovering in the same spot directly above the city of gibson georgia. The object kinda looks like a spin top which bobbles back and forth and up and down for at least 45 minutes to and hour then disappearing completely. A few months ago myself and my brother n law saw the object doing the exact same hovering like act above our homes on snider road which is just outside gibson georgia. It took a week to find out we both saw it and didn't realize it.

This occurrence and the once a few months ago occurred at the exact time of 01:55 til 02:55.

Three sided stationary object turning clockwise in sky

I was coming home from work Tuesday night, 3/18/08, driving about 45mph on Bastonville Road when I noticed in the sky which was fairly clear a three sided object.

The object was 3 sided with white lights on each of the 3 ends. It was 200 feet + in the sky and was turning in a clockwise direction. It was dark gray to black in color and I heard no sound.

I watched it probably 25 seconds and then it was gone. It went up and to the right of me at a very fast speed and it was gone.

aerodynamics-defying object sighted

While walking down Main Street in Gibson after a music practice at the church, my friend and I looked up in the night sky at what appeared to be a jet plane at first glance. However, we soon noticed that we heard no jet sound above us that would indicate that this was what it was.

We commented on how strange this was and watched the object as it moved slowly over our heads to the east and over a hill (in the direction of the Elmira/Corning Airport) To our amazement, when it reached the top of the hill, it just stopped, abruptly, in mid-air.

As we were trying to figure out what kind of aircraft could possibly be capable of such a thing (and realizing that it was definitely not a jet plane) it took off at a speed that was both incredible and shocking. We were stunned.

We vowed never to tell anyone about it for fear of ridicule.

I figure that I kept my silence for long enough and this report should be added to the host of others from every corner of the earth.
